If you have the opportunity to be greeted by the warm welcome from the reception ladies, and the talented massage therapists, you will have a phenomenal spa experience. The owner, Jamie Bright, has built an oasis of relaxation! This award-winning spa is one to take notice of! And, the various items for purchase are as unique and different as the spa itself. I will definitely return!

I have been here a few times and always have a wonderful experience. Kelly is the highly knowledgeable aesthetician who I choose for facials. Each time she addresses whats going on with my skin and implements the best plan and most effective treatment. I look forward to future facials. The front desk staff is always warm and welcoming, the environment is serene and I leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed! Thanks for the five star service and happy this wonderful location has been a fixture in Columbia for many years!

An amazing experience. My mom doesnt like massages and enjoyed the Chakra massage immensely. My daughter and I very much enjoyed Chakra balancing and Reiki treatments. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing facial experience with Kelly. She is incredibly knowledgeable and recommends the treatment that is right for your skin. I received a retinol peel facial and it was exactly what my skin needed. Kelly made me feel relaxed and I couldnt be happier with the look and feel of my face after treatment. In addition, the front desk staff and general ambiance of the spa makes for a wonderful experience as soon as you walk in the door.

First time ever going to a spa thanks to Christmas gift.i had a very heavenly experience.calm relaxing atmosphere that sets even the most anxious person at ease. Jen treated me like a person and not just a client, and even tailored my needs to the massage due to a recent injury that is still healing. Before the carefree lifestyle of summer ends and the busy days of fall arrive I scheduled a little pampering at Brightwater Spa. I enjoyed a facial, pedicure and manicure. I have to say that each of my experiences were incredibly relaxing and were provided by individuals who really know their art. Kelly provides fantastic facials that always leave my skin feeling healthy and vibrant. Deb provides my manicures and pedicures and always encourages me to try something new which I really enjoy. From the minute you schedule your appointment until the moment you walk in the door you can feel that you are in for a treat and moreover Jamie and her entire staff make you feel comfortable right from the beginning. Your every need is taken care of and you are truly in for a delightful experience of the highest quality. I love Brightwater Spa it is a hidden gem and one of the best kept secrets in Columbia.I would highly recommend it for your next spa treatment

Brightwater Spa has an amazing atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and caring. I brought my daughter in to see Kelly, as her face was constantly breaking out. Kelly spent the time talking to my daughter to figure out her skin care regimen in order to figure out what was causing the problem. My daughter was made to feel very comfortable while Kelly did a peel and hydrating treatment. Kelly provided detailed guidance to my daughter on how to take care of her skin moving forward. Within a week of this treatment, my daughter’s skin was clear. I would absolutely recommend going to see Kelly, as she is a miracle worker and truly cares about her clients.

My BEST spa experience ever! Everyone is warm and welcoming. The decor, ambiance, lighting and sounds combine to offer a relaxing atmosphere that is soothing and calming. Brightwater Spa is the most wonderfully relaxing place to be! The staff is caring & delightful, the ambience is soothing, and the products used & available for sale are thoughtfully chosen & high quality. This review could easily move toward loved it-But I am hard Grader! I had every service (Other than Bikini Wax), during over the last decade, I can say that every provider Ive had it at least very good. I have had Massage, facials, Nails, and back treatments. They do their best to stay on time, and they morph into the clients demeanor when it comes to talking, or not talking! I have been to almost every higher end Body treatment salon in the Howard County area, and Skin Care institute should be considered.

I’ve been a client of Brightwater Spa for almost 5 years. As a previous owner of a salon and day spa, I can tell you that Brightwater is a 5-star business. The owner, Jamie has created and maintained a beautifully designed, tranquil setting with a warm professional team. If you’re in the market for eyelash extensions, look no further than Candace. She knows lashes and is always exploring educational opportunities to stay current on new products and techniques. Candace is professional, friendly and goes out of her way to ensure that you’re pleased with the result. It is no surprise and definitely well-deserved that Brightwater Spa has won Best of Howard County awards and last year Best of Baltimore.

There isnt a better group of professionals in any spa Ive ever been to, and that says a lot. Ive loved treating myself to spa services for most of my adult life. You simply cant go wrong, I highly recommend Brightwater for any service, youll be immensely pleased. The personal touch is genuine and I think this is a major part of the positive experience

Martha was so patient with me and all of my questions. She helped me pick out a tailored skin care plan (per my request) without ever trying to sell me on expensive products or procedures. I left after my facial with noticeably smaller pores and smoother/softer skin.

Kelly did a terrific job on my facial. She was super nice and welcoming. She walked me through the process, answered all of my questions, shared a lot of useful information, and made great recommendations. All in all it was a great experience. I will definitely come back for another visit.

I was searching online for a local, reputable spa that had packages that would suit my desire for relaxation and pampering as a birthday gift to myself. My first visit to the spa today was enchanting! I had the Nurture package, which included an *amazing* facial by Kelly, a great massage by Pat, and a gel mani/spa pedi by Debbie. In addition to complimentary wine and truffles, I absolutely loved the hospitality and BRIGHT smile of owner Jamie throughout my entire visit :) Definitely will be a return client

This spa is designed beautifully and you feel so relaxed the minute you step in the door. Every time I have gotten gel nails and pedicure by Candace they look amazing. I always have gotten complimented on my beautiful looking nails:) I recommend Candace to everyone and this wonderful spa, it has everything. So happy to have found it.Karen

Fantastic experience, need a break and no time for a vacation? Treat yourself to an afternoon of pampering...I did and LOVED it! The Spa is beautiful, the staff...friendly, experienced, talented and delightful. The owner is a one of a kind gem. I usually see Pat who is absolutely phenomenal and by far the best Ive ever had. On my last visit I had Kara and I was blown away. Best foot and ankle massage (which I requested some focus on) I have ever had!I love this place and cant wait to go back!

I have been coming to the Skin Care Institute for about 15 years, and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Kelly does the best facials I have ever had, and I have many facials both here and in Europe. At the same time, Shannon does the best mani/pedi you could get anywhere, and now that they are in their new, beautiful spaces -- how could you ask for more. The staff is wonderful and very professional. This place is TOPS.

My doctor recommended that I get a lymphatic drainage massage. After calling several spas, I called Brightwater and was told that they had a therapist who could help me. They were right, I saw Pat. She was incredible. I felt so wonderful after that massage. I will absolutely schedule with Pat again.

First things first-Im a black-African American female with a severely sensitive skin, slightly aging and hyperpigmented. Finding products that work is a pain in the rear end, been to so many spas and derm offices around here...until this place....I usualy send Hubby here to get some products for me. Most of the products I buy are a bit pricey and I never have a chance to try and see how my skin would react. Once in a while, I go in myself.Theres a young lady that sits behind the computer and theres a slightly matured woman who pops in from the back every now and then. Both are fabulous! The computer lady gave me samples of eyecream and Trio moisturizer (from Skinbetter Science) and Lord knows I needed to try these. I just went in for my cleanser and she asked what I use and I told her just 2 things from that brand. Both samples were much needed and greatly appreciated and I will be buying full size products!Also, will soon be rescheduling my facial with Kelly (whom Im yet to meet but I know she will be fabulous!)Now the slightly matured lady-(who also reccomended the best sunscreen for me on a previous visit) I sent hubby (on a Saturday afternoon) for a product-which they didnt have-she loaded him with 2 weeks supply of it! I cant tell you how helpful this was! This was a new product for me, so I was nervous even as I was trying to buy it. (Skinbetter Clearing Serum)This place is the best! Just awesome and I will tell everyone I know about this spot. Thank you Ladies!

Brightwater Spa is an amazing oasis where I can relax and be pampered. I treat myself to facial once a month, and massages as often as I can. The treatments are first class, the staff are professional, and I always feel taken care of when leave.

Had a lash lift & tint done here. The price was $100 which is a bit more pricey than what Im used to but the friendly staff and calming atmosphere was well worth the extra cost. The only complaint I have is that the lash lift was not as dramatic as one I had gotten a couple years ago. Maybe a different solution? The lash tint was awesome and something I definitely will be coming back for.

I had my first experience as a client this week; the owner and staff, professional, knowledgeable, licensed, and passionate about health, wellness, and beauty. Practice has up to date services and equipment. I was so pleased with my chosen treatments, I booked subsequent series to return as repeat client.

Just had the most amazing waxing experience with Kelly at Brightwater Spa at the Skin Care Institute. I got a Brazilian and eyebrow wax and both were as painless as it could be..New location is beautiful!
