We went in for a couples massage, it was great! My husband has had massages else where and said it was the best yet. This was only my second experience and it was far better than my previous. He had Lucy and I David, they were both spot on with each of us. I appreciated the speed as they were preparing and getting supplies, as not to waist any of the time. We will be back! Thank you both! Also the receptionist was so friendly! You can tell she loves her job!

I had a massage with Lucy and it was great!!! She really knows what she’s doing! She was able to pin point my tense areas and really relax them! This is my first massage in Ohio, and I must say 10/10. I will be coming here every other week! Make sure you ask for Lucy!

Ive been here 3 times, had an appointment with jessica and i will be sure to forever make my appointments with her. every visit has been phenomenal, always left feeling like a new born baby deer. place is clean, consistent and worth every penny.

This was my first massage anywhere ever and it was a great experience. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful and so was my massager, Amanda. Great atmosphere and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone and will return again.

Able to accommodate us arriving nearly 20 minutes late. Offered a variety of types of massages into one. The space was clean, quiet, and calm. The staff was friendly and communicated well, always making sure we were comfortable. Very enjoyable experience.

The therapist were super professional and extremely nice. The place is very warm and welcoming. They went all in massaging pressure points, feet, neck, and everything. They used hot oil and hot stone. I am going to definitely be back and they get a 10/10.

I wanted to update my previous 3 star review to 5 after my most recent experience. First, the owner called me to apologize for our prior experience (see below) and wanted to reschedule us for a complimentary massage. Our rescheduled massage was fantastic and I appreciate them wanting to make it right. I was so pleased with the massage that we left a 25% tip and purchased a gift card on the spot. Thanks again!My husband and I came here for a couples message. Sunday, February 18th. We booked and paid for our appointment online, which was supposed to start at 8 p.m., but we werent called back until 8:20 p.m. after another couple left. We ended up in a tiny room (not the one for couples massages but a regular-size room for single massages). The room also lacked some supplies needed because my masseuse had to stop massaging me on a couple occasions to go to another room to get towels, hot rocks, etc. She would just leave without a word and then come back which broke up my relaxation. At the end of the massage, my masseuse abruptly removed the towel from over my face and turned the lights from dim to full light. We could tell that we were their last massage for the night, and they were ready to go! The massage itself was nice, but because of all the other things that happened along the way, it made the overall experience not as relaxing as it should have been and therefore I was a little disappointed. Especially because my first experience there was so amazing.

I do not recommend this massage parlor. My husband and I went in for a couples massage and for lack of a better word my body feels assaulted. We got there and the massage therapists showed us the door to our room and then just shut us inside, we should have just turned around and left then to be honest. They didn’t ask us if we had any problem areas or what type of massage we wanted. We decided that maybe it was just a cultural thing and they didnt seem to speak much English and noticed the signs on the wall to undress to our preference and get on the table so we decided to stay. They came in the room and the woman working on me immediately started shoving around on my body very aggressively and the only communication from her i got was “medium or hard?” Again i should have gotten up and left but when you’re in that awkward vulnerable position its hard to decide what to do so i just told her “medium” and then she continued to very aggressively massage me for the next hour. I thought about saying something multiple times but wasn’t sure if she would listen to me seeing as she didnt the first time and I was just extremely uncomfortable. We left and both were just really thrown off and didn’t know how we felt about it but as a day or two passed I was feeling worse than when I walked in and the more i thought about it and compared it to previous massages i knew it just wasnt right. We contacted them about the experience and they called us offering to fix it with another service free of charge. While we appreciated the offer we declined because i do not feel comfortable returning and asked that they just refund us for the terrible service we already got and they told us no and that they would not refund us. If your going to give us a free service id rather just have a refund. They used a restaurant analogy as if restaurants never give refunds, they do ALL the time.

We did a couples massage and had Helen and Cindy! They were so wonderful! Ive never had the deep tissue or the hot stones and it was amazing. We will definitely come back next time were in the area. I feel like she worked out tension that has been stored for years!!

Massage escape is the best place to go in Ohio! Everyone massage therapist I’ve have has been wonderful and cognizant if they need to adjust pressure. Try to make an appointment because they fill up quickly. I need to make this a regular part of my maintenance. Thank you massage escape! I’ll be back soon!

This was the worst massage of my life. As soon as the therapist touched my back I knew she doesn’t know how to give massage. I couldn’t wait to escape that massage. The owner asked me afterwards how my massage was. I said: let me tell you. I have had many massages from different therapists in different styles. She said: next time I’ll give you a different therapist who is more experienced. I wonder why I received not experienced therapist who doesn’t know what she is doing this time.

Very professional. My mom loved the massage. I called the same day and was able to get a walk in for her. The place is clean. The receptionist offered water. Great ! Will be back for sure.

I don’t get a lot of massages but out of all the ones I have been to, this is the best place. My boyfriend and I went in for the couples massage and afterwards we both felt very good. I love how they stay open until 9pm EVERYDAY. They also accept walk ins and the prices are GREAT compared to other massage parlors. Do yourself a favor and contact these good people for a massage. 😁

This place is the best in Columbus, Ohio. I’ve been to several massage places and this one tops them all. The prices are very reasonable. The service here…OMG! Ive been here several times and everytime ive had exceptional service. My experience today was absolutely amazing! I wasn’t feeling well because of my sinuses, I’ve ripping and running around annd just haven’t made time for myself. I thought a massage would definitely help me relieve some stress. I made the right decision to make a visit. Helen was so kind and attentive to my needs. She listened to me, but she definitely listened to my body. She massaged every knot and tight area, she even felt the knots in my shins and ankles, yes, she was that detailed! If you are looking for a very clean, professional, and thorough, relaxing massage, definitely go here!

The most relief Ive ever felt in my life. I didnt think it was possible to relieve some of the pains Ive dealt with for many years (and Im an Ironworker). I feel brand new. Helen is very skilled at targeting problem areas. I swear if youve never done this before... YOU SHOULD!

My husband and I received the 60 minute couple massage and it was so relaxing. They massaged all the stiffness/pain away. Their customer service is impeccable and like no other. There’s no waiting time and they get you in and out but not in a rush feel!! All the ladies are friendly and nice. We try to visit this place 1-2 times a month. Everyone was so friendly. The couples massage was fantastic. They found places that were sore, that is didnt even know was sore. Im not sure what everyone is talking about with the bell. We were in a middle room, and I could barely hear it. Some of the best massages Ive had in the city. My wife first brought me here for a couples massage. Since Ive been back several times for individual massages and brought her back for another couples massage. We will definitely be returning regularly. They have some of the best rates and actually can do firm strong massages. I typically get massages to address various issues and injuries from regular intense work outs and past sports injuries. Many places only provide super delicate Swiss massages which do very little to help get out deep knots and tightness. Lately Ive been dealing with some severe issues in my forearms and hands from a combination of the gym and working on a computer everyday. They were able to get these muscles to finally relax and release significantly helping me recover. I plan to go here regularly from now on as a part of my recovery and maintance plans. My wife and I also want to set regular couples massages as a part of a regular self care routine.

Incredible experience I come all the way here ,because they give the best message . They do everything, within the hour. So many options. The ladies are very nice, clean environment. Mostly I felt a sense of peace and calm throughout the message.

I think my soul was just expelled from my body. I went from sedentary at work to 8 1/2 hours on my feet working with kids recently, and my body is still getting used to it. I have a tendency to be sensitive to massages with a lot of pressure, which causes most massage therapists to not be able to get my knots out. My Husband and I just finished enjoying our couples massage. He treated me for my birthday, and I’m so glad he did. A great place for a massage, with a clean and pleasant atmosphere.

Trying hard not to complain but our experience was slightly above terrible. My wife and I got a hot stone couples massage, first of all, my wife asked to have a male therapist and for me to have a female. They said no problem. When they came in, the female started on my wife and she again asked, can we switch? She replied “yes is ok.” And no one switched. I asked to turn the bed warmer off. And my therapist said “ok” and adjusted my face pillow. I asked 4 separate times to use less pressure. And he asked me “are you ok?” And again I asked for softer. My wife asked for her therapist to use less pressure and while it did improve, we are both sore. And annoyed our anniversary day date was somewhat tainted. I’m sorry but you have to be able to understand English if you’re going to be a therapist. Or at the very least be able to understand if you’re hurting someone. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re into this type of massage. But I don’t think you should leave feeling worse than when you arrived. 2 stars is as generous as I can be.

Before ever getting massages I was so nervous of what the experience was going to be like due to so many horror stories! I went to someone in Pickerington and she was a wonderful woman but I was looking for a more calm, peaceful time. And that is EXACTLY what i received here at Massage-Escape. I was able to easily book my appointment the night before for the very next morning!! The spa has the calmest vibes and the front desk lady was so kind and efficient!The room I was taken to was dim, clean, and soo comfortable! I chose the 60 minute massage and it was pure bliss from the moment I hit the bed! It was the perfect amount of time but I also wouldn’t have mine picking the 90 minute! The woman I had was so sweet and she was AMAZING I’ve had a good massage but I was so so happy with my experience. I will be going back as often as I can! 10/10 would recommend :)

I have been here three times, twice by myself and this last time with my friend. The $60 massage was nice the first two times. This last time, the massages were a little rushed but still nice. When my boyfriend went to pay, one of the Asian woman asked if we had cash instead of card. We did not know we needed to have cash, especially since I paid with my card and left a tip on my card the previous two times. The woman asked us three times in a row after we told her we only had a debit card. She was so persistent...it was uncomfortable. She then insisted my boyfriend use his debit card to get cash out of the ATM machine in the front entrance when you first walk in. When he left a generous tip, she looked down at the receipt and asked “is that all?” My boyfriend and I looked at each other and laughed so hard. We have no problem tipping of course which we did! We were so surprised this woman had the audacity to even ask that question. She sat there with a straight face, rolled her eyes and watched us walk out. We won’t be back.

Loved it here it was so nice and so where the people there it was amazing loved it here so I would definitely recommend and they have seats in the front of the shop for if you do have kids this is the best I’ve been to they also do couples massages!!

Overall this place is a good choice for an effective massage. You’re not getting a spa experience and the massage isn’t custom to you, but the price is fair. I agree with the previous reviews that I wish the doorbell was quieter, the sheet was higher quality, and the face rest was more comfortable. Other than that, it’s a good massage parlor.

Nice massage, the only thing that can be clarified is that the 30-minute session is only upper body, and that was the main purpose of my visit. But it is worth the money.

This is my 3rd time coming here and each time they do not disappoint. If you are in a need of a deep tissue this is the place. And its truly an hour massage not like other places where you are scheduled for 60 minutes and they only massage you for like 45mins. Recommend coming here.

My husband and I have been talking about getting a couples message for a while now so I finally booked us one for his birthday.Message escape is a little slice of paradise. They made me feel extremely comfortable and did an amazing massage. They were kind, clean and AMAZING massages. We will be back!!!

The massage was nice & relaxing however afterwards the ladies almost demanded me and my husband to give a a larger tip amount after already tipping with our card. Very uncomfortable and awkward. They just pointed at the “tips are greatly appreciated sign” over and over as if we couldn’t read.

The two Asian ladies that helped us were so sweet, courteous and very professional. We get massages every other week and we are very picky about where we go and the service we receive. I asked for particular attention to my neck, shoulders and lower back and was so pleased by the attention and deep tissue technique.Being new to Columbus, we were not sure what to expect but this place really surpassed our expectations. The location is quiet and the inside space is super clean and really nice. The massage rooms are very confortable, dimly lit, with a nice aroma and feel completely like the quiet relaxing space where you would want to be getting a massage.More importantly, the massage itself was one of the best Ive ever had. My therapist gave me an incredible deep tissue massage with great attention to lower back and neck problem areas I told her about. The staff was extremely friendly and thoroughly professional. The price was reasonable and we were happy to pay and tip for their service we received.We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Now Im addicted after this one session! 🙂 I highly recommend the hot rocks they are greeeeat! Very professional, made an appointment and was in same day! This was a great massage. The price was not outlandish. My husband an I got a couples message the day after valentines and it was the most relaxed I have ever seen him in our 12 years together. They released tension in my back and was able to make my husband arm issues stop from being a tradesmen for 20 years. They helped my osteoarthritis in my hip. I have not walked this good in a few years. We will definitely be back there!

I googled what an average tip is for a massage and its $20.The work they put into this job is worth it. They probably get a % of what is paid and rest goes to facility bills and owner🤷🏾‍♀️

I was actually in more pain when I left this place, after the massage. No one speaks English accept money English. Massage girl banged on my door as I was getting dressed, tried to tell me in very broken English, massage over, pay now pay. I could barely finish dressing. Massage girl gets ticked if you dont give her a $10 or more tip and lets you know it. Whether she deserves it or not. Forget you nearly paid them close to $100 and they pass all their fees on to you. Its to the point now where all these tip entitled people think theyre right for expecting u to pay part of their salary. Bad attitude, bad customer service. I.m tired of it and going elsewhere where we can communicate mutually on my next massage.

The facility was clean, fresh, and well lit. The staff was professional, friendly and made me feel comfortable. Other places I have been the therapists have talked to me throughout the entire massage. At Massage-Escape the therapist provided me with instructions and asked for feedback once inquiring if she was pressing too hard, so I was actually able to relax. It was very peaceful and felt very much like a retreat. Shelly was fantastic, if you havent visited yet I would highly recommend!!!

My husband and I went for a 60 minute couples massage. The experience was amazing! This was our first time. I would definitely go back and the price was lower than most of the spas around town!

As a first timer getting a massage I really enjoyed the hot stones on my back and the foot massage. The massage at the time was great but after they was done and I was walking out the building I didnt felt any different then when I first got there. My arm didnt hurt going in but it did hurt after the massage and I had more back pain after the massage then I did going in. They even demand to give a tip.

Best Massage Ive EVER had! She was very sweet and applied just the right amount of pressure. I didnt know what kind of massage I wanted so she gave me a bit of each kind! The scents of the lotions/oils were lovely and the environment and background music was very relaxing. 10/10 recommend! I am definitely coming back again and bringing my boyfriend. By far the best place Ive ever been for a massage. My sister and I had a place cancel on us today, so at the last minute we were calling around to find a place to go. The lady who answered the phone was so nice and accommodating. She was able to squeeze us in with just a 20 minute notice. When we got there they already had the room set up so we had no wait.The massage was great. Really focused on the parts I hold tension. They even used hot rocks. I was so impressed. Then afterwards we were greeted with a smile and a bottle of water.I will definitely be back again and again. If youve never tried Massage-Escape, do yourself a favor and make an appointment!

Bought my wife some massage therapy time for her birthday. Paid in advance.I was coming in to give a tip once I saw my wifes time was up, then saw her reaching for her purse. I asked her if theyd requested a tip and they had.I reminded them theyre not supposed to ask for tips and that I was reviewing on Google, but I would still tip because the massage had been enjoyable for my wife. They immediately began apologizing and admitting their error.They insisted that I not tip and begged me not to write a review.Heres the review:Massage-Escape was not my first choice, due to reviews exactly like this one... And Ill be sure to go elsewhere in the future, convenience be damned.To the staff at Massage-Escape: I totally understand the desire for further compensation for your services.But its important to remember that Americans will and do tip when those services are satisfactory.Asking for tips is not only shameful, but just bad business.You lost two customers.

My best friend and I booked a couples massage for a spa day for ourselves - what a great, relaxing way to spend our time - we thought it was definitely worthwhile! The massage therapists were very good at positioning you and helping you along throughout the massage. A full body massage definitely revealed some places that needed some work and the therapists made sure to focus on those areas a little more. The hot stones they used were a delightful little treat! Would recommend!

Ive been to this location three times. Once with my wife for a couples massage and then two other times alone. I plan to go back more as well. I have done both a walking and scheduled an appointment. I pay with card everytime and tips I sometimes did in cash and sometimes card. I have gone here twice alone since I started going to the gym and the full massages they offer feel really great. As a 58 240lb man, they know how to hit the right spits and make the soreness go away for the day.For now, with the skill, time to get in, easy payment issues, I have no complaints and will leave a 5 start unless something happens in the future but for now - 5 stars.

Randomly found this place when googling walk in massage places. Luckily, i was able to get in within the hour bc my back and neck were full of knots. This was quite possibly the BEST deep tissue massage I’ve ever received! The lady who massaged me had the strength of the hulk and worked out all of my issues. 100% recommend!!! And such a great price!!

Enjoyed the experience overall! Had couples massage and it came with hot rocks. Ours was definitely deep tissue--please ask for gentle if youre sensitive.The rooms are veryyyyy tight if youre in the couples room. The massage therapists kept brushing along the walls because of how tight the rooms were -- that part not so relaxing since it was quite noisy.

I highly recommend this massage therapy facility. It’s the best in town. They are all genuinely concerned with the care and satisfaction of their clients. I give this massage escape five stars.

Booked this because my masseuse moved away after going to her for a few years. It gives the “massage parlor” vibe, instead of the “spa vibe”, but that’s not a complaint, because I went for a massage. I’m not sure if they only have one technique or what, but I booked a 90 min RELAXATION massage. Some people love deep tissue, not ME. I was never asked about the pressure and it was more painful than relaxing to say the least. I explained to the lady doing it that it was very painful and I’m not here for wellness this particular time, just a stress relieving, medium pressure MASSAGE. It continued. Only when I yelped OUCH! did it stop. She then said “sorry! U like medium?” She continued to press her elbows and fingers in my muscles to the point that I heard her knuckles crack. I explained the THIRD time that I am not a fan of deep tissue massage, and that I don’t like to be in pain and that I’d like a lighter pressure to relax. It was as if she couldn’t do anything but that! I got up incredibly upset and SORE (of course it’s worse today) after 90 minutes of being dug into, and I left a cash tip on the bed. I got to the front and before anything else could even be said, the attendant asked me for a tip! How tacky. Omg I HATE when people ASK for tips. Even tho I wasn’t satisfied at ALL, I still left a tip for her time. The fact that they have the audacity to ASK for tips is incredible. What a shame. Anyway, long story long, I would never go back and would not recommend! Booked another massage somewhere else while I was still in the parking lot of this place.

She sure took care of some very tight spots in my neck/shoulder as well as my lower back that have been killing me for a while now! The hot stones were a wonderful surprise at no additional charge!It was quiet, relaxing and peaceful! (I have gone to other massage places where they talk non-stop & I dont find that relaxing! ). I went there because of the reviews..I was scheduled at 10am this past Wednesday I had a 2 hr massage..I paid 130.00 and I gave a 5 dollar tip because that was all I had at the time...and Ithe lady said only 5 dollar for a 2hr masage!! She sais it.disrespectful .. you should be educated enough to know people leave tip if they have it, . but its not obligated... you was paid 65 an hour more than what I make..I wont be back they made me.unconfortable.. no massage place ever acted this way over tips... you looked more than surprised.. you commented nasty about it..in restaurants the waiter gets about 4 bucks an hour...not 65 like you guys!!!

It was definitely rushed both ladies were whispering in another language which made us feel uncomfortable, and I gave them 10$ tip each and they tried to ask me to tip them more and said “you big guy give me more” which made me feel so uncomfortable never coming back

My friend and I got a couples massage here, and it was unlike any other place we’ve ever been. They walked in on us undressed after being told we needed another minute, they were quick to expose you and mess with your underwear without warning, and I’m not sure I believe they’re even licensed with the “techniques” they were using. Half the time they were IN the bed with us while massaging. Not to mention, people were in and out of the room while we were laying there exposed. Definitely won’t be back.

Hmm..okay.The linens were very thin. This is definitely more of a massage parlor vs spa experience. Something for others to keep in mind and adjust their expectations maybe. My husband didn’t care.The women who worked on me spoke broken english. I did my best to explain that I needed less pressure on my lower back and I was very sensitive.The first time she dug her elbows in deep I said that’s too much. Her pressure didn’t change much. I’ve had deep tissue massages before but never with this extreme sharp elbow pain constantly.At a second point it was extreme to the point I cried and told her again that it was too hard. She apologized and went on. Usually after 3 warnings, people should understand to really lighten their touch and notice how someone’s body is clenching and tensing. She continued with really deep/hard pressure. I couldn’t figure out if this was a language barrier issue or if she just wasn’t paying attention or didn’t care/know better.I could hear that she was listening to something on her earphones and she laughed during the massage. That was a little off putting to me. But, I get it might be boring to do the same routine over and over again.When it was finished, my husband paid. He didn’t realize I had prepaid and they charged us again for the entire massage. He tipped more than 20% ($30/ $15 per therapist) and the women said, “$20?” As in “give me more of a tip.” That was really unsettling to me considering we tipped more than 20% already.When I realized my husband has paid for the service again he called and asked them to refund my card. That was today. The women said she would talk to the owner.I personally wouldn’t go again. Asking for a higher tip was extremely off putting to me.The pictures they use for advertising send spa type vibes. That certainly isn’t the case. I wish they advertised honestly.Update: They did call and said they refunded me and it should show in my account in a few days. They did their best to make the situation right by offering us a free service with a different therapist. I declined but appreciated that.

I was having really horrible back pains. Went to Massage Escape for some relief. Sophie was my therapist. BEST MASSAGE ever!! It was a combination of deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot rocks, reflexology and physical therapy all rolled up in one. I did 90 minutes and it was GREAT!! I walked out of there feeling totally revived. I recommend this place anytime.

My boyfriend has been having severe back problems and I took him here and almost immediately after his 60 minute massage his back felt a 100% better. We came back in 2 weeks because his back started to hurt again but not as nearly as bad as before and he did the 30 minute massage and again his back was feeling better. They really do a great job and they don’t cheap you out of your time. Every place I have been will not give you the full time but here they do. It’s worth every penny here

Worst massage Ive ever had. There is no way these 4 and 5 star reviews are real. It was rushed and chaotic with no actual value.Rooms are cold and you cant relax because you can hear everything thats happening in the whole building. The tables just have a round hole in them for your face, instead of a proper cradle. My neck was cranked at a bad angle for the whole thing and there was no position I could find to make it work.Overall, i left worst than I came in. Save your money and time. Go ANYWHERE else.

Great affordable and quality massage! My wife and I had a couples massage here for our anniversary. Ive had a lump by my shoulder blade for over a decade. Was even considering going to the Drs to make sure it wasnt a tumor or something. They found it quickly and worked it until it was no longer there! Ive had a half dozen massages over the years and none of them could get rid of this thing. Couldnt be happier!

This was one of the best massages I’ve ever had, and easily the best I’d had in Ohio. My therapist was amazing. I really loved her technique of starting soft, to warm up the muscles, before the deep tissue massage started. My body felt 20 years younger after 60 minutes!
