This hotel is absolutely 🤮🤢! When me and my family first got to the hotel, there was unwashed, sheets with a brownish, red color. We IMMEDIATELY asked for a new room. When ever we asked, they tried saying that we were lying and trying to get a better room, but wouldnt try to look at the problem. Since they wouldnt give us a new room, they gave us new sheets. When we looked at the bathroom, there was at least 3 insects. Discusting!🤧 My kids begged us to leave and would not go to sleep. I do NOT recommend going here.
SCAM! Do not book with them - reservation online only to find out the physical hotel isn’t owned by OYO anymore and don’t accept these bookings. Was given the run around for hours trying to get a refund. There has to be a law suit over this.
I had a little trouble with the online booking, But the Gentleman on the evening shift was quick to assist. Also, the absolute best part about it was that he found my headphones that I left in the room the night prior and held them at the desk for me. Thats great service. Now that I know I can trust them, I will be coming back to this hotel in the future.
Steer clear of OYO and their hotel in the woodlands. They make you pay upfront for a reservation and the hotel says they are no longer owned by OYO and charge for the room. When trying to contact OYO for a refund for services not rendered good luck on getting someone to respond. This place needs to be shut down. They have roaches and rats, there were cigarette burns in the sheets and mildew in the shower. Disgusting place, Pau the extra few bucks for a nicer hotel and steer clear. Charged $68 for the room twice and no refund what a waste.
Paid for the room online, got confirmation with the address and booking number. When we get there, the motel says they are no longer owned by OYO. We had to pay again in order to stay where we already paid online, and were given a number to call. After an hour on the phone, OYO says the initiated a refund. Except they charge us a $58 cancelation fee. So our refund will be $4.24.Then we get a promotional email from OYO the next day asking if we want to book the property again at a discount.THEY DONT EVEN OWN THE PROPERTY ANYMORE!OYO is taking peoples money online for a hotel they dont own! Then charging $58 cancelation fee once you get there and find out they stole your money and you have pay the people who own the motel to actually stay there.Worst customer service for a company who is taking money for a property they dont even own. And their policy allows them to keep 98% of your money and take 7-14 business days to refund the remaining $4.24.OYO is a shady operation run by illegitimate people.
The first room we were given was incredibly dirty. The bed wasnt made and there was mold under it. I even found a bug on the floor. When I called the front desk to complain, the staff member accused me of tearing the room apart. The second room we were given was much better than the first. However, during our stay, a lady wearing pajamas unexpectedly entered our room not once but twice while we were there. I called the front desk to ask if they had given someone else our room key, and the staff member informed me that it was the cleaning lady in her pajamas.Despite some issues with cleanliness and safety, the hotel had some redeeming qualities. I appreciated the convenience of having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The shower was also nice, and there was plenty of space in the room.
STAY AWAY!!!! THIS HOTEL AND LOCATION IS A COMPLETE SCAM. I PREBOOKED ONLINE ONLY TO FIND OUT WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE LOCATION THAT IT WAS NO LONGER OYO BUT ANOTHER COMPANY ALTOGETHER. I WAS UNABLE TO GET A ROOM THERE BUT WAS CHARGED ANYWAY. I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT OYO FOR MY REFUND AND SURPRISE SURPRISE AFTER 2 WEEKS OF TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE THEY HAVE DUCKED AND DODGED ME AT EVERY TURN. THE LAST TIME I CALLED THEM ON THE PHONE THEY PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES JUST TO HANG UP IN MY FACE. THIS PLACE HAS STOLEN MONEY FROM ME AND HAS DONE ZERO TO TRY AND CORRECT THE ISSUE. MY NEXT COURSE OF ACTION IS TO FILE A CIVIL SUIT AGAINST THIS CORRUPT AND CROOKED COMPANY!
I stayed two nights it started off at check in with the front desk threating to not let me stay with my service. She is registered and a needed. I have her because of my time in the military, enough said. The smoke detecter in the room was constantly chirping and if we wanted the room cleaned and fresh towels the ask that we request it. Location pitiful, old air conditioner units under stairs and from the second story walkway if you looked back next to building all you could see was trash and junk piled. I will not be staying at that location again. PS never tell a guest the owner does not want any dogs in the hotel, if service would have been denied based on that we would have more communication.
Id travelled to more than 20 countries and more than 20 states in the USA. This was my worst experience with a hotel in my whole life! I dont even know about their rooms because I made a reservation, the front desk said it was not confirmed, I paid in advance, they never gave my money back and when I tried to make a complain to give them a feedback they said it was not possible! I wish I could give 0 stars! Ill never think about spending a night in this hotel chain!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Red Flag #1: the parking lot was empty. Im confident we were the only guests there and for good reason. We went to check-in and we were not explicitly told that their water heater was broken and would not be repaired during our stay. Its only after we questioned a sign that was posted that it was confirmed. We went to inspect the room and it was dirty. The sheets looked slept in and the floors clearly hadnt been swept. When we went back to the desk to request a refund, we were told that it wasnt possible because we reserved through Expedia. Then I tried to cancel through Expedia and am literally still going back and forth with these people to cancel. Ive had better experiences at Super 8. We came to stay at a different hotel down the road and theyve had several OYO guests come in with horror stories. I cant express enough how much you shouldnt stay here.
Checked in normal with $50 cash deposit, a little frustrated that it had to be cash but okay. Got the room was clean and looked okay. 2nd day rolled by and we had stuff to do so we left the hotel room and returned until late and realized that the room was still dirty, trash bins were full. Towels had not been replaced but oh well it was okay. The next morning I came to find a bed bug and decided to notify the front office as we decided to pull a 3rd night as we did not want to look for another place last minute. As I was re-checking in I advised about the dirty room and how no one had come to clean or replace our bedsheets/towels and come to find out “they do not have any housekeeping” and was told if I needed it to be serviced I needed to notify them if not they will not do it and will not even change out towels. I agreed and told them I needed it to be serviced then. Left and came back until night time again, only to find a couple of towels on the table with our trash still here, floors dirty, beds undone, just as it was before. Went to notify front desk and the one in front desk was rather rude and told me they “don’t have housekeeping” and I said yes but we were told if needed to be serviced to let them know. And he said when they say serviced they only mean handed towels and that’s it. Explained to him that we were a bit concerned because of a bed bug that we found and was told that I was basically lying because they check for bugs weekly and that it could be a dirt speck and was told if I wasn’t comfortable with the room that I could leave and find something up to my standards. And said he would send someone to clean right now while we were in the room without babies, which we decided to clean it ourselves because it should have at least been done early in the day. Unsure how cleaning is done here to accommodate guests but just by that, unsure how clean the rooms actually were and now has me concerned. So was not the almost $90 I was charged me for extending one more night when I was charged $80 for 2 nights previously. Met with nice people who work here except for the male who works at night as he was rude and did not take concerns seriously. If I could leave a review lower than 1 star I most definitely would but 1 should be enough.
Owners here are very unprofessional. motorcyclist bike broke down and coasted into this motel. my buddy found out his battery died so he used his jump box and plugged it in to a electrical plug on out side of this motel to give it a boost and quick charge until he could make it home when the owner came out and started being hostile. would never give this place a dollar of my money after them not willing to help a stranded motorcycle get back on the road and out of the heat. This complaint will be shared on all motorcycle groups in the area. So much for being decent human much less business owner.
Stayed July 4 - July 5 2022The OYO Hotel Shenandoah Woodlands Mall definitely needs a better cleaning crew. It was still dirty throughout our room and the bathroom. They need to throw away all of there towels, hand towels, pillow cases and sheets and purchase all new, they all had some sort of stains on them. They dont provide enough towels. Our room didnt have any rags at all but only liquid soap in the shower, so we used a hand towel.The price for the room definitely is not worth it considering how dirty and gross everything is. They still were closed inside so no breakfast because of covid. I mean thats not really a thing in hotels anymore. They are just doing it as an excuse to not provide the things they claim they provide. I dont think Ill be staying here again and gladly pay a bit more for a better hotel/room.
The location is great because it’s where I need to be. Everything else was horrendous. There was an alarm going off when I get into the room. I reported it to the desk thinking it was just the battery. I left for work and when I came back the alarm was not going off. At 3:30am it started going off, once every ten minutes, then thirty, just on a cycle.I went to the desk at 8:30 and told the lady…Her only worry was if I was checking out. There was no follow up. I then contacted customer service and they basically accused me of lying
I should have checked latest reviews. The lady at the desk was very unfriendly. Its like they dont understand customer service is what pays their bills. Smh. Do not try to book them thru a hotel app. They will not accept your reservation and it will be a 2 hour headache to get switched to another hotel.
Less than a stones throw from the highway, my rundown, MOLDY room had a convenient gaping hole in the ceiling, where the new sprinkler work had been run. The bright orange plastic tubes of the new sprinkler system really lit up the room and drew attention to the passageway where mice assumingly are able to easily come and go as they please.The shower door didnt stay closed either, and the bathroom door was nowhere near true and had to either be slammed or lifted at an odd angle just to close.When the manager who took my money and would only take cash because he claimed the credit card machine was down, provided me the key. He looked me dead in the eye and made sure I wouldnt be smoking or vaping in the room.If I had been vaping in the room it only would have helped subdue the overwhelming disgusting air freshener scent that hit me like a wall as soon as I opened the door.This was the worst hotel experience Ive ever had.Maybe I shouldnt have had my hair down when I paid the man and he would have given me a better room. Part of me thinks there may be better rooms. The photos had better rooms. Maybe my wife and 2-year-old daughter had to stay in this heckhole of a room just because I looked like a hippie.If you have a family, dont stay here. If you feel that you would soil a room anyway, maybe this is a cool place to stop.I bet Charlie Day from always sunny in Philadelphia would like this room. Especially if he had the glue and the cat food with him. It probably makes it easier to fall asleep.Oh, and the main door didnt really shut great either so you could hear every single footstep outside. There werent many footsteps because you know no one would stay here anyway.This would probably be a good place to find a hookup for illicit drugs though.#BlackAndFuzzy ( the mold was directly above the bed and above the shower. )
Worst stay ever! I made a reservation for 3 nights and then found out I needed to be in Houston a day earlier so I made a second reservation. When I arrived at 2:15pm, they told me to come back in 45 minutes since check-in started at 3pm. The next day they expected me to check out at 11am and come back at 3pm since the computer wouldn’t make it one reservation. When I didn’t leave the room at 11am, they charged me $10 for early check-in. The couple running this place are visibly angry people. Be careful staying here that you don’t get caught in the crossfire of a domestic dispute.
This is Nakayla Hall and this is MY RECENT EXPERIENCE. It all started this morning at 5:45am when I first checked in first off Horrible experience With the night manager, some white guy with an attitude problem had no sense of regard for women and their privacy. And then woke up this morning at 11am!!! and saw the bathroom the first time and FREAKED OUT when I saw this HUGE chunk of hair stuck on my bathroom wall. Not to mention bd sheets had specs of dirt like someone just dust off the sheet for the next guests. When brought to the morning manager attention some Indian dude he literally told me “sometimes that happens and there’s nothing I can do” I told him I wanted a refund because I paid to sleep in a CLEAN HOTEL room. Not waking up in filthy one!!!!!!!! HE TOLD ME NO BECAUSE I ALREADY SLEPT IN THE ROOM
If I could give it a zero I would. The first room we had was filthy so we ask to switch rooms. The second room was even nastier and smelled like smoke even though they claim to be a non smoking property. The third room was not much better butBetter then the first two but the only problem was the the fact that there was no working heater and it was 30 outside. The next morning we got up and asked for some clean dry towels and were told no. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
Room was dirty, exposed pipes, hole in the wall where the pipes come out of, there was spit or something in the toilet and there was a dead roach on the ground. There was an almost empty roll of TP in the bathroom, and that should definitely be replaced after each stay. I used to work in the hotel industry and I’m really disgusted at how much OYO charges for the quality of their rooms. The last time I stayed here I was in an upstairs room which was much nicer and had a seemingly clean vibe to it. But this time it was horrendous. Will not be staying here again. The tvs are so old and outdated. Was not a great experience to say the least.
Considering I had went to two other locations where roaches met me at the door this location was a relief. There was NO rodents To welcome us in! Definitely plan on going back in the future. Front clerk was rude but it was 3am so I wasn’t going to argue with him. Can’t speak for next time I go. I might give him what he gave me :/
Warning this hotel is runned by scary cruel people. Worst hotel experience of my life. Im a MD Anderson patient of years battling a very rare cancer. I stayed 3 days and never have I been treated so rudely. I had to go to the hospital all day and when I got back I was literally refused service despite my room was paid for 2 more days. This creepy night man acted hostel scaring me and my caregiver. It got so bad I called 911. They said theyve had complaints about this hotel and sadly its individually owned. Therefore, they can do as they please. So I called a Sargent who said report them to the BBB and discrimination office. The whole time I was there staff was very discriminatory when they knew I had cancer. I couldnt believe how rude they were. My caretaker said never had he seen anything like what he witnessed. After a long day at MD Anderson I came back to no room exhausted. Nor, do I see a refund yet. No hotels have check ins at this hour so they left me stranded in a city I dont know.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life, the man at the reception is a rude and rude guy. I had my reservation through an app and it was already paid and he told me that I couldnt stay because the reservation didnt exist. I showed him everything and he was rude.
It was terrible, its like I was put in a room that was in the middle of being renovated. There were holes in the walls, a giant crack in the sink water would leak on the floor when you wash your hands, the microwave was missing the glass on the door, the shower door wouldnt stay shut, there was no toilet paper holder the paper was sitting on the tank of the toilet, the gap under the door to the outside was so big I could put my fingers under it, cover plates missing on electrical outlets, loose tiles on the floor with missing grout, the upholstery on the chair was all peeling off..... The list goes on and on.
I was charged for a room I never stayed in. I called the hotel the gentleman said that it was no longer OYO and he had no reservation system so our reservation would not be honored. I really want my money back. Never stay there
A run down, bug infested hotel ran by thieves.Twice they charged me for a night and neither time was I able to stay. When you book through a 3rd party website, there is no way to get a refund. And theyre robbing people.Was told that they were not going to allow me to stay and treated me with police removal
Not great. We had 3 doubles reserved as we were traveling with a group of 12 and when we arrived for check in, there were no doubles available. Manager told us he couldn’t do anything because it was overbooked for the night and we’d have to make do. Ended up having to sleep 3 to a bed and one person in a chair. Cleanliness was questionable as well. There was a used bar of soap in one shower and a used washcloth in another. One room smelled weird and had a huge gap under the door to the outside. Very noisy, not well insulated from all the freeway noise. If we’d have been able to get a refund, we would have stayed elsewhere.
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My husband and I made a reservation online and paid for our room via Expedia. When we got to the hotel to check in, we were told that they required a $50 CASH ONLY deposit that would be refunded when we checked out the following day. As my husband and I were not told this beforehand (not listed anywhere online), we did not have any cash. We told them we were going to an ATM and would be right back. When we returned, not even 10 minutes later, we were told that they did not have a room for us anymore with the king bed that we reserved. I thought when you made a reservation and paid ahead of time, they RESERVED a room for you?? I asked if there was a room with two double beds instead or anything else available. I was told that it would be an ADDITIONAL $62 “upgrade fee” in order to get a double bed room. This is a $50 hotel room. Come on. You have got to be kidding me. They obviously tried to rip us off. They wanted the $50 we already paid for the room we reserved ahead of time, plus $62 for an “upgrade fee” to get a double bed room (listed as $56/night on Expedia), AND the $50 cash deposit? No freaking way. You get a cheap $50 hotel to get a cheap $50 hotel, not to pay $112 instead of $50 because these people over-sold rooms. On top of all that, the guy at the front desk was extremely rude. This is not how you run a business. Needless to say, we got our money refunded from Expedia and found a better place to stay.
Was the worst stay ever. I made two separate reservations because some extra money came through that allowed me to stay another night. When I got to the hotel to check in the lady told me that I would have to check out she couldn’t link the two days together that were consecutive. She then told me that she would charge me $10 to do that. Ok whatever, which I thought was a rip off. I gave her my card to run the $10 and she said it had to be cash. Another thought of being ripped off went through my mind. The next day I left my room and was unable to get in when I returned. I went to the front desk and no one was there for all of 30 minutes. I called the 1800 number they were calling the front desk, no answer. So I begin to wonder what the hell did I at $10 for. Wasn’t able to get into my room until well after checkin. Also when I needed my card reset I asked for extra towels and tissue he told me he didn’t have it. I had to find housekeeping myself. I was so disgusted by the service I will never stay again.
Nightmare experience. Theft, rusty light switches and bad management.I have almost a decade of experience working and managing hotels, and OYO Shenandoah without a doubt has been the worst experience I have ever seen or been a part of.Part 1: Hotel- the hotel is dirty. OYO buys old run down locations and injects capital for cheap renovations, new paint, furniture, etc, all on top of the nasty foundation. These repairs are done poorly, and it shows in every facet of the experience. Dirty/blood stained mattresses, crooked wall fixtures, peeling paint. OYO’s business model is lipstick on a pig. The door frame didn’t seal so about a half inch of light and weather seeped through. Everything is covered in rust. See pictures.Part 2: Lost and Lost.We left an expensive item in the room. We called the next day so we could pay to ship it back to us. They told us they didn’t know if they had it, and to call back later at 4PM. We called at 4PM and were told the housekeeping had left, and to call back the next day. This has happened every almost every single day for 2+ weeks now, sometimes they just hang up after answering, sometimes they don’t answer at all, sometimes they take our number and say they’ll call us back (they have not done this once), they keep delaying and avoiding. And just to be clear, they haven’t even confirmed they have the item, much less if they’ll ship it back. I have called the customer experience line, and once they listen to my story they either 1) send me to the front desk, which does nothing, 2) tell me they’ll call back, which they don’t, or 3) place me on hold indefinitely or hang up. I am beyond frustrated, as you can imagine, over such a stupid simple task like checking lost and found - something I have done countless times in my hospitality career, it takes 30 seconds. For OYO Shenandoah and the entire OYO brand, that apparently is an impossible request.Read the other reviews, read how much the housekeeping has been accused of theft. If you stay here it’s likely for the cheap rates, but you have been warned- DO NOT STORE VALUABLES AT THIS LOCATION. No one, including the housekeeping, management, corporate, front desk, can be trusted.
Checking is was no problem, our room was nice and very very clean.... Water pressure could have been better for showering... Our room was spacious. Bed was comfortable, but too high for me.. had to give a little running start to get on bed lol... My problem was with check out... The lady must not had gotten any ??? Or hadnt drank her coffee, cuz she was very very rude especially when I asked for my receipt, as tho this was an issue to print it... She threw it at me thru the little window, I did still said thank you and to have a very blessed day.... The woman didnt acknowledge me after that... She just walked away when she gave me my receipt.....
Terrible service. These guys are crooked. I had booked a room online and went to check in, I was refused a room at first due to me being under 21 (I am 20 at the time of staying here). I asked to see the policy where it said that I had to be 21 and they couldnt show proof at all. They ended up having to check me in as I was being very adamant about getting my room. Rooms were very dirty when I came in as well. Never booking with this company ever again.
The manager told a price, the next morning checking out , the amount was more. This is common with these places. I would of paid the higher amount if needed. I dont like it when people steal or take more then they should. I told this manager he is a theif. When they dont want to give you a receipt in the morning its because they are going to charge you more then they told you the night before. I dont believe me complaining isnt going to help. Hes a theif.
Had a super horrible experience with a hotel down the street. Decided to cancel those reservations and reserve at the Oyo. Pleasantly surprised! Staff was nice I saw them out cleaning rooms and the boss man allowed us a slightly earlier check-in as we were having a horrible experience previous to coming to the Oyo. The room are clean and up to date. Older hotel but very quiet surroundings. This hotel saved my vacation! Thank you
Room was clean and seemed well maintained. Their toilet paper was the worst. Would be nice if there were enough towels for 2 people int he room without having to ask for more but no big deal. If I had to stay in the area again I would definitely come back. Good value for the price and convenient location.
CAUTION: Once you pay, theres NO refund, no credit back to your card if your date changes. Our stay was pleasant. Our refrigerator didnt work upon arrival. The repairman came, but it still didnt work. The next morning the management brought a replacement. Great location. Its near a wide variety of restaurants, stores, a post office and other businesses.
We booked on Hotwire...When my husband got there he was told they were no longer with Hotwire and they were not OYO anymore..He paid a higher rate .When I filed a claim with Hotwire I had to copy where it was taken out of my bank statement...The charge was thru OYODO NOT RESERVE A ROOM HERE
This place is a scam. Booked online through Airbnb for one night. Pull up at 10 pm to check-in and front desk dude says there will be a $50 cash deposit and they don’t accept credit cards. What kind of place is this. They reel you in with the low price in relation to the location and then try to screw you. Few people in line behind me had the exact same issue and everyone was frustrated. I sat outside and watched the creepy front desk dude come out behind the locked door and try to fight a guy. So classy. I got the heck out of there! This place should be torn down and replaced with an Applebees or something.
Room was not like the photos on booking.comWe only wanted a basic room because we were out all day and just wanted a quick place to sleep. We know it’s cheap so weren’t expecting much. But didn’t think it was as cheap as it was. Had some whiskey on our dresser. Left for the day. Got back late at night to find new towels, and the main trash can emptied. Cool. But whoever cleaned the room, took our whiskey. My husband and I wanted to chill a bit after our long day. Just to find it gone. The night manager said they don’t know what happened and to talk to the day manager. Not wanting to make it right. Will be speaking to the day manager in the morning because theft is unacceptable. If the idiot can steal someone’s whiskey, I can only imagine what else they’re taking. I’ll gladly spend an extra $50-100 next time to stay anywhere else but here.
This place is horrible. My family and I evacuated for hurricane Ida. We had been on the road for 20+ hours due to bumper to bumper traffic on the interstate. When we arrived, the hotel worker said he gave our rooms away. So we checked our bank account and he still charged our account! When we asked about the charges, the hotel worker became very nasty and ugly. I would suggest no one to book at this place.
Made advance reservation Nov of 23. When we arrived at the motel the gentleman said he cannot honor the right we had been quoted originally in Booking the reservation he said the booking fee would be refunded but was only credited 26 cents we were charged $90 but never credited the booking fee terrible experience do not stay here
The bed sheets had hairs and stains all throughout the sheets. The bathroom floor was covered in hair and bugs. When I reported the bathroom floors the manager said it was dried paint after showing him the pictures. Reported to corporate through social media and they suggested I inform the manager, and when I stated what the manager stated they messaged me that they were glad everything was resolved. I have pictures to prove the bathroom situation. We were very disappointed.
This is the WORST hotel EVER. Do NOT stay here. Made a online reservation was taken out of my account immediately. Once we arrived at 11 pm a cash deposit was demanded. Having children and not wanting to go to a ATM in the middle of the night with children I offered to put the deposit on my credit card but was told the machine didnt work. I was forced to load children up and go find another hotel in the middle of the nightThis is awful customer service at the location and the main office was just as bad. Do not waist your time
Hotel was fine. If youre in need of a basic, adequate nights sleep, this fits the bill. However, having a cheap nights rest didnt work out so well when we went out to our car after check out the next morning and the front end of our car was based in (we had backed into the parking space). Apparently, a guest leaving backed up into our car and left without leaving a note. Management was unhelpful. They stated there are no cameras in the parking lot, they were unable to give any information on who had just left (even to law enforcement), and calling corporate did no good either. The $50 nights stay ended up costing us a tow and $1,000 deductible + rental car while our car is being repaired.
Ive been staying here for about a week and when I booked online for another day the owner tells me he doesnt want me to have a room anymore and I have to leave.He literally said he was stealing from me and wanted me out.They will also take your deposit you make.
Worst place to stay. You pay for what you get. Pee was literally all over the door and walls in the restroom . The shower was not clean at all. The bed sheets smelt so bad. The owners wife( I think that’s what she was) got so mad because we reconnected the tv ( it was disconnected when we got there ) there is no WiFi, yes they give you a password and everything but you will just stare at a blank screen for hours. No breakfast. Owner got mad when I asked if they would have any the next day. Just an overall bad experience got the hotel for 5 days left on the 2 day.
The hotel is across I-45 from The Woodlands Mall and close to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.The room was adequate. A typical roadside budget motel. A little noisy because of its proximity to the interstate, but still a manageable sound level.The room had recently been painted. The room was clean and the linens were as well. There was a funky smell in the room, kind of like mildew, but I could not see any visible signs of mildew or mold. All in all, not bad for the money, but you can probably stay a little nicer for less money if you dont mind being a few more miles north.
I booked online with I think google last minute stay for 2 nights. In the beginning it was ok. I booked after midnight and didnt realize I couldnt check in till 3 pm. Got to hotel around 5 and was told there was nothing that could be done unless I wanted to pay 80 dollars for less than 6 hours. I thought that was way to much so I stayed in my car. I went in around 10 to explain what happened an see if I could possibly check In early. I was told not till 12 so I waited and went back. I was able to check in early but was charged 10 to do so. The staff was unfriendly, rude and hostile! The male owner I stopped and asked about weekly rates and he said oh yeah Ill give u a good rate. Was never told the rate. My friend water went out an she asked to come stay with me. I called front desk to see if I needed to pay more due to me booking just 1 adult. Was told as long as no more than 2 adult I was fine. At 11:16 the next morning I was awakened by my door opening. I had to extra look on so they couldnt completely come in. I was in my underwear and was screamed at that I needed to either pay or leave. I told the owner I booked for 2 nights he said no I need to come to office. So I immediately got dressed and went down to office. The owner started screaming at me that I only paid for 1 night and my time was up i needed to get out. I calmly said hold on I booked for 2 night something must be wrong. I told him I didnt mind paying if need be. He laughed and sarcastically said well yeah your going to pay. I said sir I have no problem paying im not trying to get something for nothing. I booked at 50 per night he tried to charge me 100! I asked if he would honor my original booking price he starts screaming at me NO! NO!NO! I let u check in early an only charged u 10 dollars! You pay full price or get out! I tried to say something but was interupted and to my stay was over get out! I was never rude or disrespectful. I apologized repeatedly and the guy was hostile, unprofessional to the point of being threatening! At this point I was scared so I apologized once more for the confusion and asked if I could get my things an I would leave. He said I better hurry or I would be charged another 10. The key wouldnt work when I got back to my room so I had to go back to office.
The room was great,.just a few issues with no shampoo in the shower older or soap. And there was hair on the shower walls that wasnt from my wife or I. Other then that the room was clean..
BEWARE! Do not book ever ! They are so rude got there at 7pm to check in and was told I canceled my reservation, had my itinerary and receipt from booking and was told there was nothing they could do except have me pay $85/per night on top of what I already paid ! After 45 minutes I with no no hotel room !
Do yourself a HUGE favour and SKIP this hotel when you shop around for place to stay. I made reservations online , paid for it and after driving 400 miles that day I pulled up around 1am trying to check in. The rude person at the front desk ask for my ID and as soon as I gave it to him he said “I’m sorry I WONT be able to give you a room for the price you booked it at . I was in shocked and asked him “What I have to do with a price that Published by you on your website ? . He said “Call the customer Service and they might be able to give you the refund for your reservation.I ended up sitting on my phone fo 2 hours. No customer service ,no room and no refund.Shame Lon the
Im 8mos. pregnant & suffering injuries from a recent car crash. I needed a place to recover & thought I found a great deal through the OYO app. Front desk REFUSED to honor the deal & REFUSED my refund with no explanation. Extremely unprofessional, horrible service, poor attitude & rudest people Ive EVER done business with. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!
No soap in any form in the room, TV remote was broken in half, smoke alarm missing its battery, toilet seat broke. Bed was stiff. Would not recommend unless you have no other options.

There is a $50 fee that is not mentioned when booking. Also I booked and paid for two queens and they wanted to give me a one bed room. This happened two different stays. I did it get it the second time. I tried to extend my stay was told they were all sold out. Yet if I went online I could book the similar room. Cheap management is all I can say. I had to go find another hotel room and wait for check in. Can’t recommend.
I wish I could give this place a 0 star. I booked it the moment my pipes busted and we had to shut our water off. I went the day of check in and the man working the counter looked right at me, ignored me, and kept talking on his cell phone. I waited, and when he realized I wasn’t leaving he sighed and hung up and said “what do you want?” I said I had a reservation and he said “your room’s not ready” without even looking at the computer. I then asked him when it would be ready and he just stared at me. I told him my name and asked him to check my reservation. He glanced at the computer screen and said “you don’t have one.” I said “I just booked one last night- are you sure?” He (barely) glanced at the computer again and said “you’re not scheduled here and I have nothing available. Too bad.” I then got an email this morning saying my reservation was cancelled because I didn’t show up! This place is absolutely terrible- if you’re trying to book in the area go to Aloft around the corner, they’re lovely.
Not only is the 50 dollar security fee not mentioned at booking, the woman at the front desk will tell you that this security fee will be refunded to your account in 2 to 4 business days when you check in. They tell you its only 50 dollars but they actually hold more than that also. It has been over 8 days and my money still has not be returned. I called to ask them to return the deposit and was told by customer service that it takes 7 to 10 days not the 2 to 4 I was originally told. Why not just be honest up front?! We will never return to this hotel because of this.
I asked for a room and was told it would be $70 a night and told him it’s ok I’ll book online I made a reservation online and then he told me they didn’t have any rooms available just cuz he wanted me to pay more and he started to curse at me. These people will try to rob you better off staying at a better hotel for that price.
The floors were dirty. The room above me had a party that went on until 4 am. The room wasn’t fully painted either. You can see where the painter decided to just quit and not finish. Very disappointed for the money.

My stay at OYO was a very nice experience! It was clean, the service was awesome and it has a convenient location right off I-45. They are also one of the best on price! I would gladly recommend and go back!
Did not get room reserved and was told were sold out. We could see in windows of plenty of open rooms. No discount granted. Pillows like cardboard, but it was clean. Will not be back
Disgusting. black mold in the shower. Trash and beer cans left on the side of my bed when I entered the room for the first time. Hair all over the walls and in the shower. And in the bathroom. Again want to complain about the 50 check in fee no one mentioned, since I prepaid for the hotel in advance. Wifi code doesn’t work. WHAT AM I PAYING FOR? Won’t be coming back.
Manager was rude but the housekeeper in morning was nice , kind, and had good customer relation skills even though there was a language barrier she under stood. Was staying overnight to rest for Car show in Conroe,Tx. Was able to get a couple of Car owners to stay at hotel also...
This is a great tucked away spot. It was very pleasant. The room was and smelled clean. The traffic was surprisingly thick but still manageable. We had a good stay. Thank you.
These people have no respect for anyone whatsoever i booked a room here for 2 nghts to find out that im not allowed in because of my invalid id even tho i have already booked and verified with a officer that im of age
They treat their employees horrible, work for 10+ hours straight. Not even a 30 minute lunch? Isnt that required by law? People almost dehydrating from thirty because they were denied a break when they asked. That us now how you Run a Business. No wonder you have TWO stars.
I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone ever. The service and everything was completely horrible. I booked my room online and they charged my card and I had to pay when I got here too. Then the gave me a room with the wrong size beds when I had clearly requested big beds online.
Do not book here. I booked a room for $47 for 1 night. They canceled my reservation without telling me and my guess is because of the price. Dont let them do this to you.
Oyo is a big company, but this location wont let you come back if you leave a honest review. BEWARE every room has repairs needed and for the price, invest 10-20 bucks more you can get a nice luxurious room else where.
Hotel owner rented my room out on me. I paid for an extra night with oyo and he wanted more money. When I came back from work the unit was occupied.

Don’t waste your time , I booked through OYÓ and I got a great discount , and when I got to the hotel the GM stayed that he would not rent it to me because it was “too cheap” I called customer service and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it. The room was cleaned could use a little updating. For the price a great value plus price extremely convenient to Cynthia Woods Pavilion and Restraurants.
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all , my gf and I slept on stained sheets an the tv didn’t work. Also not to mention there’s a light bulb that flickered so much to the point we turned it off, there is also a huge stain on the ceiling and very bad lighting, in an emergency stay like me I should have gotten a motel instead.
I booked my room from April 8th until May 8th but had a unfortunate emergency and had to leave early on April 18th before checking out I asked their policy I was told I will be only charged an extra day and will receive the rest of my refund I have yet to receive my refund and because I went through booking.com Ive been getting the runaround they told me twice they will be refunding you my money and I have yet to receive it do not book with this hotel as they are thieves ‼️I WILL BE FILING LEGAL ACTIONS ‼️
Nothing like photos. Stolen stuff out of room from housekeeping who didn’t even housekeep. Drug addicts staying there. Def go somewhere else for $50 more. The only good thing is convenient location.
I dont mind to stay in an old place, but I do mind to stay in a dirty place! I should had looked at the reviews as I usually do, but in a rush I just looked at the pic and booked the room.Floor was disgusting, grease and full of human and dogs hair all over the place.2am Im watching a movie laying in bed when I felt something on my arm, when I look at it there was a little black dot and all the sudden when I tried to grab it, it jumped, I guess I dont need to explain that, that was a flea on my arm. I get up and started to look for it and couldnt find it, but what I did find was what seemed to be dogs hair on my bed. I have a whole list of what is wrong with this place, but I wont waste my time writing it, just take a look at the pics.

Not the nicest place Ive ever stayed at, but its got the basics covered for a great price.There were some hairs in the shower and the soap was really cheap, but Im not too bothered by it.

We went to check in for our reservation and the guy was a complete dock and wouldn’t let us check in. I get it I’m a few months shy of turning 21 but that was absolutely no way to treat a customer. I will never go there again.
Ok I tried to rent a room in Lockhart. They say cheap rooms but they dont tell you about the $50 deposit they charge ontop of the price of the room so your paying way more than they advertise.

Good evening, very bad experience with this hotel.I booked online, they charged the money and when I got to the hotel I couldnt stay there, terrible service and me with my children to look for where to really stay, they have very bad service, bad customer service, if they dont accept online reservations, remove them from the system, thats why its there. In the age of technology, it doesnt stop them from giving that bad customer service, I dont recommend it and I dont give it any stars, its just that it didnt let me publish, very bad service, too much negligence.

Terrible!!! The rates are low but still very expensive for what it offers. It is below the minimum decent that a chain hotel should offer. I found hair in the shower, the sink and the basket with the coffee. Terrible experience, pay a little more and go for an Extended Stay
