Mollys Pub

Didnt eat any of the food. I just went to meet some friends for a short while. It looks a little rough on the outside. Inside it is much nicer. The people I met were friendly. One of the guys on the staff was very nice. I didnt catch his name. He was passing some papers for a bingo game. It was a Mollys version, but fun. It was basically a name that tune game. Most of the people I saw were outgoing. They had darts and pool tables. I only stayed for a short while (about 2 hours), but it was fun. I would go again. 😁

The service was meh I called to place an order was put on hold then hung up on.Met the worker on site and she was even still meh guess that is what hospitality is coming too now they want extra tips, but they can’t be friendly lolNow the foodThe Ruben was very sad. Feel like they got corned beef from the deli and just warmed it up and made it.. I was expecting shredded corned beef from an “IRISH PUB”. Sadly the Ruben is a no go for me again my pickle was hella SOFT no crunch sadly I don’t normally throw food away, but this meal went to the trash. Pricing was good, but now I see why take more time with it even if it is more expensive I would buy.Hope y’all can fix the Ruben cuz I would come once week.

Nice pub to chill out. I was unknown about this pub. I like to chill out in the weekend and I found this place near my home from google.This is nice place to chill out with your friends. They are open till 2 am and they allowed smoke. I recommend not to go if you don’t like smoke. This place comes under budget. This is not that expensive. They have good bar tenders and it is 51% alcohol served place so you should be 21+ to be there.All over, this is good place to chill out. You need to try this pub once so that you can know it 😊

Terrible, just purely not good, go to the spring location by Rayford & save you the rude attitude the bartenders give off, only a few are cool here unfortunately this location is rundown & I suppose everything the pictures make you think, won’t be back, If I do going to the south one that a 15min drive even though this one is 5mins away 🙄

If a dive bar is what you are looking for the Mollys Pub will always deliver. The sandwiches are always good and the bar tenders are always salty. Gotta love it.

So much fun for St. Patricks Day!

The old guy who works here sells meth, so if hes there, his tweeker buddies are there too. The other day, he was arguing with spirits and yelling at people for using the phone, saying something about it giving away his position to the Russians. The guy is insane and seemingly always on the brink of a violent outburst. Also, you never know what will end up in your drink when hes there. Its too risky to ever go back while hes still slinging dope and arguing with customers. Sad.

Trash bar. Ugly bartenders . Friend also got drugged creepy regulars. Manager is a ho. Do better shawty

Stayed long enough for 1 game of darts- I know they allow smoking but I think they may be pumping more in- crowd seemed like a mix of extras From a Bad episode of Sons of Anarchy- beer is cold bartender was nice and theres a Whataburger in the parking lot but no Montucky Cold Snacks

Was there for a live show on 5/27 and the staff was beyond rude, not only to me but to other patrons as well. The 2 women and 1 man that worked that night continuously ignored me whether I was at my table or at the bar waiting for their help. I watched them ignore/mistreat practically everyone there who was supporting the bands that night that includes the band memebers families mind you. Absolutely ridiculous that this happened, if you want your parents/siblings/supporters to be mistreated then bands definitely go here! They wont disappoint!

I normally dont like to leave bad reviews unless its justified. This location of Mollys Pub was by far one of the worst experiences Ive had in a bar and as an Artist who performs at several locations including this one they were rude and unprofessional to the lowest of degree. They lied to our faces about being paid in food and beverages, and they were reminded several times for them to roll their eyes and scoff at us. They basically stole from us and had major attitudes whenever we needed service they ignored us and attended to their click of friends instead of being kind and courteous to everyone like how they should be. I cant believe management allows this kind of behavior to go on for years now. Read the other reviews its been an ongoing problem with this establishment. Its inexcusable behavior for grown adults to behave so childishly.

I’ve been to a lot of karaoke bars and this one has to be one of the best. The DJ is amazing. He is so funny. His freestyles to his deep voices. This man is talented and I am blessed to have him as myNew karaoke host. Imma be there every single week. The food wasn’t bad at all. The prices are so great too. Coming from San Diego, I’ve never felt more at home than I have here. I brought a girl from Twin Peaks and my friends. Great group of diverse people of all different classes just coming together without drama for a fun night. What made it is how friendly everyone was and how much hype there was for people when nobody knew eachother. I’m a new regular now

Alright bar. Bar staff is friendly and very professional. Proper bar.

Been there once. It smells so strongly of cigarettes, youll stink when you leave. Pretty grungy place. But if youre a biker that smokes and looking for a good hole in the wall where you can drink, smoke and play pool, Im sure itll fit the bill. I just felt like I was gonna walk away with lung cancer for staying longer than 30 mins.

Fun and helpful bar staff. Lotsa friendly faces and good vibes. Havent tried the food yet!

The guy with the moustache IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL JERKFACE!! My bf and I did nothing wrong, we just ordered drinks. He immediately got an attitude and called my bf names and ignored us, finally made my drink, looked me dead in the eye, and dumped out my drink. Then he said we’re not welcome there and KICKED US OUT. Fire him. His gf is the manager so don’t do him any favours. I need justice for my tequila sunrise. Again, guy with the ugly moustache with an attitude and zero customer service. K thanx baaaaiiiiii

Honestly, the drinks are pricey and its freezing . Some guy Mike that has worked there forever was there off the clock drinking and he was a belligerent prick. Screaming and yelling at my table because we were smoking CBD out front. A simple hey you cant do that here would have been sufficient but he stood not even 2 feet from my face screaming so loud he could be heard from across 336 that illegal drugs would get his job shut down. Honestly sir. Cbd is legal and no one would have known if he wasnt screaming in our faces about it for all of conroe to hear. Witnessed him throw out another girl as well who did not deserve to be kicked out. He should be fired. Hes a total prick.

Super nice Bartender, we went on 11/11/2022. There was a man falling asleep on a bench by the door that was off-putting, LOL, Im guessing he was tired but worked there. My only complaint is the ladies room was gross, from top to bottom and the walls.

Always loved this place. Love the atmosphere and the customers! You can literally walk in and strike up a conversation with a complete stranger, feel safe doing so, and talk about current events without having to worry about someone getting angry. Adults sharing opposing opinions over a beer and still get along. Great food as well!

Had to walk out half way through my beer. Had to leave my untouched plate of food as well. A German cockroach had crawled on to my hand at the bar. You know ,the bad ones that can carry up 32 diseases. Ugh. Cant go anywhere anymore.

Great draft beer selection and happy hour prices, good variety of specials available most days. Only critique as a non-smoker is the bar tends to be pretty smoky, but that goes away fairly quickly and if you let the bartender know you dont smoke they will turn on the smoke vent fan and clear the smell out. Definitely recommend going here.

They allow smoking indoors, but people are friendly and the beer is cold. One can bring in food from outside and enjoy a game.

Had a good beer selection but service sucked. Not sure if it was just Monday. But nothings Irish on the menu boo.

I was in there twice recently, the burger was good but dont be in a hurry to get served, probably because like so many others everyone seems to be short staffed. The beer was cold... I will give them another shot or two.

I love a grimy dive bar but the roaches that were visible on the walls and bar top were a little too grimy and the homeless dude in the bathroom doing something in the corner. The beer was cold though

Talk about a non-welcoming bar! The food was subpar. The bartenders disregarded us completely, and we were not welcomed there. Leave the bar and you will smell like you were at a bar… overwhelming smoke.

Parking lot is a disaster. Most certainly says a lot about the lack of investing in maintenance/upkeep.As far as the interior, it looks like most Molly’s with the exception of this one feels a little more beat up.I would not say the place is dirty, but it’s not exactly a representation of clean, nor well-maintained on the inside.Menu is limited and for the service, a little complacent (mainly due to being/playing on their phone) and yet friendly once they engaged.

What a great bar you can smoke in. Not a lot of food, mostly alcohol. Darts,pool and music. It was fun.

I have been to this place a few different occasions, so I consider this review to be fairly consistent. I like to throw darts and this is one of the few places that has cork boards, so I went again in hopes that things were better this time. First, this place is insanely smokey and having been a smoker for 15 years it normally doesnt bother me, but its too much. I ordered 2 pitchers of Crawford Bock for my girlfriend and I through the bar because we waited for a waitress to come by for about 10 minutes after we arrived, but actually never saw a waitress the 3 hours we were there. I started a tab at the bar and when we finished the 2nd pitcher I decided to close out the tab. The bartender, who seemed like she wanted to be doing anything other than serving people, didnt show me the tab, but just ran my card for $34. Thats $17 a pitcher which is outrageously expensive. I was a bartender for 10 years so I still tipped $11 even though the service was pretty terrible and you could barely tell the bartenders what you wanted because the music was so loud. Another huge problem with this place is that they dont have menus with drink prices, so you have no idea what all they have or how much it costs.

Wednesday night karaoke is the best!!Great bartenders, great selection of beer!Pay to play pool and large tables make for a great place to bring a big group of friends.

Pretty good place. Its like a pub - dark, darts (real dart boards), and pool table. Can get pretty crowded. Bouncer is on his game looking for trouble makers and drunkards.Pretty good beer and with some craft beer. The bar staff are nice just wish the waitress were more on their game. If you want a beer and dont want to wait, head straight to the bar.This is probably the only place I wish they didnt have a jukebox. They should be playing mostly Irish or rock. I say this, because someone kills the atmosphere when they play country. If you want country, go to another bar - there are plenty of other bars that play country all the time.More live bands on the weekends.

Never seen more than one waitress working even on a Friday/Saturday night. I actually order 2 drinks at a time the wait is so long. Waitress is always friendly, but are setup for failure. Bartenders are hit or miss but never wowed me. You will definitely smell like an ash tray.

Was banned from this bar for arguing with a ride bartender. They decided to close at midnight one day and did not inform people showing up at that time. I was ignored 30 minutes before getting the bartenders attention to ask for a drink then she replied rudely says they are closed. I got upset and said thats ridiculous how she ignored me while they were already closing. Then she banned me. Im trying to contact the owner. I always have a hard time getting a drink anyway. So she banned me for looking like an idiot and yet theres nowhere else in Conore to go

The place where everybody knows your name. I have been coming here in phases over the last 10 years and I love it. Smoke inside and the servers are lovely especially if you do not hit on them. They also have the best draft beer selection in Conroe. At least inside the loop. Im here now and I am glad i am.

Was in town for family event and looked for a bar to hang out in. This place was simple but great. Local bar . Cool atmosphere. Pinball game. Darts. Dj playing good music.

If I could give a million stars I would! I’ve been going here for the past 2 months and I absolutely love Molly’s, the food is always delicious , drinks are awesome! Prices are awesome! Staff is amazing! Always feel so comfortable here; smoker friendly. I love all the staff they always remember us and anything we order they already know! I’ve been to other bars in Conroe and I have yet to find one as great as this one, pool darts cigarette vending machine. I have never been so greatful for a bar lol. A1 fosho!

It was nice. It surprisingly allows guests to smoke inside, which is great for social smokers. The pitcher sizes are inconsistent so make sure you pay attention to the bartender.

Good atmosphere, could use a better beer selection for those whose taste is more eclectic. i love barrel aged stouts and u wont find that there. but you will find good people, good beer and billiards.

Very nice bar. Smoker friendly. Non smokers stay out lol... Try the 🍔. No onions add jalapenos and swiss. The best!!!!! Havent had such a tasty burger in a long time!!!!! I dont know if it was a rare occurrence but dang was it 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

Drinks are reasonable and appetizers were pretty good, but when second shift came in thats when everything changed especially the bartenders, very rude and not attending new customers it was more like if your a regular youll be treated good, if your new customer then you wont be treated so good. Not stepping into that bar ever again! !!!

Came in around 12pm on a Thursday. It was pretty slow and I had time to chat with Kristen who gave me fantastic service! Seems like Molly’s pub is going in the right direction with serving lunch during the week. Kitchen is open from 11am-2am (I think). Great drink choices and excellent food! I ordered the boudin link and Reuben sandwich. Boudin was good and the Reuben was probably the best I’ve had. I think Molly’s pub has been under rated in the past but I will for sure be back soon. Thank you Kristen and Molly’s pub for a great afternoon drink and meal.

The bartending is great, no matter where you are you can get service. At the pool table dart board or pin ball the bartenders try to help you when ever they can, plus a great line up of draft beer.

Its a standard dive bar.Personally, being assulted by cigarette smoke walking in is the number 1 reason for the low score.

This place is hit or miss everytime I go in here. Shouldnt have to stand around and wait for your bartenders to stop chit chatting to get me a beer when the bar is pretty dead. Get new bartenders.

Nice people but very smoky.They advertise karaoke on Wednesday but I showed up and the karaoke dj did not.

I do Houston and the Woodlands atmospheres. I will say that for the limited options in Conroe, this one should be a favorite. Good bartenders, safe, clean, fun environment. Good ol watering hole feeling, just like all Mollys pubs.

Old American/Irish bar feel. They are grandfathered so they still allow smoking in the bar. Customers can range from bar prepy, country, to bar flys. Not a place for sensitive or thin skin folks.

Its a little hole in the wall... No one important. But thats what we like. They have a nice dark environment,good staff and the jukebox app. Good nuff!

Not a bad little spot. Parking lot is a clear indicator of what kind of place youre pulling up to, but its not a bad hole-in-the-wall.

Friendly bartender. Cozy. Not uptight. Thats what me and my husband like. We are not from Conroe but felt right at home.

I had a blast! But I think it was the company I was with. It lost a star because of how smokey it was inside.

One of the only places to go have a drink and relax before going home were back to the hotel. There just arent very many bars in Conroe but this is a good one
