El Catrin Lounge and Dine

So I’m giving a 5 star because this place is a hidden gem and incredibly nice. But……. The place was dead at 12am on Saturday night. The owner was drunk off his (you know what) (DOHisA) the lady next to him also (DOHerA) the girl next to her was blitzed as in gone. Not a good look for them. And owners should never be behind the bar while drunk. The bartender was new but excellent. The food was :/. With the right marketing and management this place could and should be packed every night its open. There are two bars with in walking distance and should be utilized to y’all’s benefit.You also need to make people feel welcome when they come in and not make it your personal playground, because that’s what it felt like.So please step up your game!!

Don’t let the neighborhood detour you away from this hidden gem. The inside is very classy designed and decorated. The woman’s bathroom is so cute very clean and actually smells nice. Our bartender Jay was great… very attentive friendly and makes great drinks. The owner Rodney very pleasant and greets his guests and makes sure they are taken care of. Let us try their cauliflower plate which was delicious. We also had the wings!! They are the best and their sauces are amazing. The Dj was good wished he played more older music but he did throw in some here and there. But everyone that walked in enjoyed the music

Great atmosphere, the cocktails and shots are fantastic, brussel sprouts and fajitas are very tasty-just wish the meat was more tender. Bartender and owner made us feel very special, thank you. We’ll be back!!! ❤️

Got to check this great new spot close to home near downtown. Great spot for drinks. Comfortable seating. Great design. Good hang out spot to add to your list

My friend and I came here on vacation to grab drinks and some late night food. The lounge was chic with great ambiance and decor. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our drinks and food were delicious.

Very relaxed atmosphere with lots of comfy lounge seating. Highly recommend if youd like to socialize with am atmosphere of impromptu sophistication.

My wife and I don’t get out much but finally had a date night and we enjoyed this bar/lounge so much we didn’t bother to go anywhere else! The drinks were excellent, all the staff was extremely friendly and attentive and the nachos were ridiculously good! We will definitely be back!

Love this place especially when we want to get away to an adult bar with great service, drinks, ambiance and a wonderful owner! Definitely a hidden gem and worth a visit!

Walked in was not greeted or welcomed in any way . After 20 mins, one bartender asked if we had been helped. Of course, not you saw us come in. She proceeds to give us a menu and says we only have fajitas tonight. No, thank you .. we were not even asked if we wanted drinks. From a fellow business owner, I suggest changes be made.

Love the drinks, the atmosphere, bartenders are absolutely amazing!!!! Music is awesome!!! They cater to all age types!! Love it!! Can’t wait to sit on the patio all summer long with my drink! Oh & let’s not forget the food is absolutely amazing!!!

Amazing hidden gem!! I loved everything about El Catrin. The owner was so friendly and hospitable. The decor is on point. So beautiful and unique. The bartender was great. We had fun celebrating my friends birthday.

In from out of town and decided to stop in for a drink and glad I did. A very welcoming staff and owner were friendly. Music was good and a very clean place. Recommend.

Food not worth the price, ordered Los ninos supposed to be them street tacos but they used them tiny corn tortillas the tiniest ones they sell at HEB not even the next size up with of coarse barely anyon it well damn nothing can fit on it and just 4 of them and with charro beans but we didn’t get that either but a small scoop of refried beans plate cost $14 and they served margarita in a martini glass which cost $12 and went down quick. Price is okay but not for the amount of food that was served. Left hungry still and rather buy drinks elsewhere. I just want my money worth. Nice atmosphere nice music and the look is nice. Need to work on plates and serving drinks in correct glassware. Will not go back, tried once and that’s it.

Oh wow! What a hidden gem! The outside patio very relaxing and private. The food was delicious and Ruby provided exceptional service. El Catrin is the place to be!

The cocktails were amazing. Everyone must try the La Dama martini and the El Catrin ( mescado and tequila cocktail)Ribeye and mango salsa served in a molcajete was beautiful and delicious!The decor made me feel like I was at a speak easy.It was an experience!It is a one if a kind place in Corpus Christi!

Very cool spot to hang out and have a drink. People working there, as well as owner were very friendly. Would recommend trying and I will return.

Great atmosphere for feeling good, enjoyed an evening with friends, and we were well attended too, felt like family, id suggest this place as a favorite, and enjoyable establishmant.

Im absolutely in love My new favorite lounge l had the best cucumber martini the food was amazing the atmosphere and music only the greatest sound with a separate private patio with additional seating and music , the staff is wonderful

I came in alone and left with someones Tía. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were tasty. Peace out.

Horrible place and very expensive, dont come here, terrible location without enough parking spaces and none disabled parking spaces and ramps.Terrible people and drunk customers cussing out other customers and the owner doesnt care.Terrible service and food.Do not recommend at all.Too expensive for the zone, services and products.Look for a better place and least expansive.DONT COME HERE!!!
