Flanagans Downtown

Service was horrible. music is just rap/hip hop - we asked the dj to switch it up to a little upbeat bad bunny music and he just sald no and said for us to leave. dont come if youre not expecting to get grinding on by a stranger whose ugly AF.

The bartender was very rude and over-charged me 18.00 for one drink, which I had to dispute later. He was rude the whole time I was talking to him. However, the second bartender was MUCH nicer. Its a nice club, music was way too loud(319).

Always a blast here! Good music, good drinks, chill vibes without all the drama you might find in other places like this. Definitely a go-to for me and my friends.

I spent the better part of 6 years going to this local bar. Made great friends, took clients there, and shared many great times with friends and co workers. The staff is always amazing, service is fast, and atmosphere is awesome! Highly recommend Flanagans!

The lil petite 5’1 door guy is aggressive towards women for NO REASON. He had to have been on something ❄️ because that anger was so weird he looked like he was about to cry while he was yelling lol

Just a great, laid back bar that all ate welcome, whether youre a tourist or an old timer patron. Great prices too.

Great club but bartender had us watched because she thought we wasnt going to pay.. I told her I only had cash ..she took my DL instead of a CC told her had to go get more money from the car but she kept saying she needed a card after being told all we have is cash..very uncomfortable.. we paid her but she messed her self out of her tip ijs

Tucked away in downtown Corpus Christi is a wonderful little sports bar known as Flanagans serving up local brews like this refreshing Lorelei beer as well as your normal beers, and a stocked liquor selection with some special rare options to choose from! The bartender was very friendly and wore a mask for those that are concerned but as a patron it was not mandatory so the option is up to you!!! Come check it out if you are in the area and you won’t be disappointed!!!

Ended up getting charged twice! Called multiple times to ask them about the charge and they dont know how to answer the phone. Ended up just calling my bank and now they can deal with them.

Had a good time here for date night. The best waitress downtown by a long shot. We will return.

I liked the cool funky art. The outdoor smoking space is super cool. Not the best location but could be worth the stop.

Without a doubt never returning. I was harassed by the bouncer in the picture, he is an aggressive thug. He used words so foul I had to look them up on urban dictionary. This bar deserves to be turned into a parking lot and everyone that knows it exists men-in-blacked.

This place is selective on whom they want in there club. I have neck tattoos and I get in with now problem but once my daughter in law comes into to town it’s an issue. WOW. Never again will I spend my money here.

My daughter and I checked this place out on a Friday night. There were about 6 people at one end of the bar. It was slow. Nobody was sitting at any tables. We sat at the bar and the female bartender wouldn’t acknowledge or serve us. After 10 minutes we left. The bartender still continued to ignore us as we walked out. Worst service ever!

The atmosphere is amazing. Night club loud good music. I will say drink prices were a little high than average. But worth the visit.

My wife and I went there last night to watch the Kansas/North Carolina game. We each got pints of beer from their taps. Both of our beers tasted metallic-like. I tried putting a lime in mine and my wife tried salt in hers. Neither did anything to make the beers drinkable. We had taken two or three sips of each pint so I brought them back up and said to the young lady that there must be something wrong with their tap lines because the beers (we had two different beers) tasted like metal. She said, you had a bad lime? I said No, the LINES are bad with your tapsbut that didnt seem to register with her so I told her the beers were awful and we ended up getting bottled beer instead. When we got the bill we were charged for the two beers we barely touched. Also, we wanted to hear the NCAA game announcers and sometimes we could but mostly the bar played mexican music over the PA. It was a bad experience that could have been fixed by a savvy bartender who knew not to charge us for the beers we returned (and thats a first for us--never have been charged in the past) and when someone tells you came there to watch a game--have the sound on for that game. Especially since there were about 6 people in the bar besides us.

This place ...... Dont even know where to start. First of all the crowd is fun and the music is good. Few things though... one of the male bar tenders refused to serve me reason ...couldnt tell. I think he just didnt like me at all. Asked one other tender was happy to make me a drink.All in all a nice joint apart from the fact that its like 2 clubs in one (ghetto one side and more modern side on the other)

DJ played Great music. We were visiting from out town. We walked by after came from having dinner n heard the music. We told the door man we will b back the next day since we were tired that night. We came back the next day n had a great time. August 2021 they didnt change door fee, u just need ID. Cool employees

My friends and I love going to Flanagans Downtown. We usually go there on the weekends only. The bartenders and managers are super friendly and the DJs are fantastic, some of the best in the area in my opinion. Get there early if you dont like crowds because once midnight rolls around you cant hardly walk in the place (its small to begin with), it gets so crowded. The people that flock there are of all ages, ethnicity and social status so it isnt particular to a group of people. If you love to have a good time with good music and great people, then this is the place for you.

My bf and I were recommended this place by a next door bar. We came ,ordered coctails, half way through our coctails,we ordered some food and had an open tap at the bar. We went outside to smoke because we didnt know that there is a smoking area inside and as soon as we came in, our cocktails were gone. Our blond waitress took them saying that she thought we were gone even though we literally just came and didnt even finish our first drink. I told her that it was our first time there and we didnt know that we had to go to the smoking area to smoke. I asked her to bring our cocktails back or give us new ones free of charge,she said no so we left. Definitely our last time there.

It had a good vibe going on. That, and a DJ. Enjoyed a few with my gal, played some pool, met some new ppl. Definitely be back next time Im in CC

Unprofessional managers.They enforce a dress code to gentlemen they dont know but if they do know you or if you are a woman, theres no dress code.The staff and customers are in constant danger because they dont check for weapons. The bartenders are very professional and offer great service which is why I give it one star.

You cant have tattoos on your neck ,behind your ear or on your hands.

Not new user friendly......So I walk in and its not busy, I go up to the bar and have a seat, I tell the bar tender I have no idea what I want to order cuz Im new to this scene, he just looks at me like im a complete idiot because cant order fast enough. Mind you again I was last to order of all 4 people in the bar. He was no help at all and honestly i just feel stupid at this point. People who want tips should have some skills in customer service and have some type of personality.

This place is NOT BIKER FRIENDLY. We had been turned away after the staff said “ you cant come in here with your vests!!!” Haha he said vests. But then No shorts, no tattoos, no plain gray shirts, no hats backwards, bartenders stealing money from customers, staff catering to their friends only, And no bikers allowed.

One of my favorite bars!! Mike is an amazing owner. Both Graffiti and Flanagans are definite hang out places for people who live in Corpus and visitors coming in from out of town. The drink specials are pretty awesome too. I Have to shoutout to my favorite bartender, Olivia! :)

Watery drinks, too much ice. The pool table was broken and kept the scratched ball as well as the spare and bartender didnt know how to open it. Mostly played rap, thankfully a lot of decent oldschool and 90s rap thrown in. But that bass was unfortunate. Overall vibe was pretty dingy.

The beers were nice and cold everyone was social distancing. The bartender was on her game. Everyone was wearing their masks. This is always a nice place to go drink after work

Besides renovating the inside of this bar the rest is complete garbage. The bartender was rude, slow moving and not knowledgeable, there was no music on, the dead silence and the place felt cold and unwelcoming. And the patron who was acting like a best friend of the bartender was loud and obnoxious and rude. To me first impressions are everything and I will never come back to this bar

Awesome place. They staff is well trained, and friendly, plus the process are right. I travel all over the country for work, with experiences are 100s of bars, but Flanagans is one Im looking forward to visiting again.

To many people couldnt even walk restroom

Well I was visiting the town for the night today and was reading all the reviews on the bars near my hotel. And I was looking forward to being rejected here for my arm tattoos that arent hidden. But I was let in with open arms. I guess since the last review on this topic things have changed or its just neck tattoos not really sure but Im having a good time in here.

We went last night and I decided to ask the bartender, stalky Hispanic with a little facial chin hair, to hold my purse and later noticed someone behind the bar STOLE $150 dollars from my wallet. We believe it was the one we handed the purse to. DO Not trust this place to be professional and with any ethics, and managers are obviously hiring thieves.

The bartender was friendly enough; however, drinks were short poured and way over priced. We had a beer, one vodka & soda and one shot for $19...

This place was really great the bartender was very attentive and sweet. The pool was cheap to play and we had a great time. Great place to have some drinks.

As I was walking near the bar flanagans tonight a guy stopped me Asked me if he could help me or if I was okay, I told him I was waiting on my friend (who was down the sidewalk talking to an artist) he pointed at flanagans and said Well Dont go in that barWell sir thank you for stereotyping 2 women in Corpus Christi walking to their car downtown who were dressed nice and we were not planning on going into your bar assuming you were a manager. You give Corpus the negative reputation that it has.

Pretty good till i was asked to leave,when asked to speak to management i was denied and approached by more staff,without any reason for being asked to leave,also couldnt get in with an plain gray T shirt,but watched several individuals walk in with plain Ts. I guess its an members only club.

Was good visit. Had music playing. Only thing bartender priced martinis. Then got the bill and was told well actually a martini is twice the price.

Great lowkey bar to grab a drink in your own. Dark inside. After 10 pm a different loud crowd will come in.

This place blows! If you’re downtown, don’t go here. The prices are to high and they charge a $2 fee for every credit/debit card transaction. Don’t waste your money here!

Was charged $13.50 for two bud lights, when I questioned the total they were very rude. The specials are $6.00 Ciroc shot. And the shot portion was not even considered a shot. Never again.

Poor service. Apparently they only tend to their local and regular customers. Ordered crown and Coke and it could have been considered as a virgin drink!!!
