Meeting Rosie, was the only positive takeaway. Yesterday I came for a $245 massage. It was decent, yet all for nothing.I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap afterwards & unfortunately it was full of avocado. I am severely allergic. It wasn’t listed on the menu at all. Sent me into an instant panic attack & allergy response. Spa attendant spoke minimal English. Luckily I’m. Bilingual. Ruined all the reason & for my possible benefits from the spa visit. They were also painting the walls in the communal area between the locker rooms, which wasn’t mentioned at check in. Just not as enjoyable as I’d like, for the price point of their services.

My spa day at The Crescent in Dallas was a tranquil getaway, highlighted by Suzannes superb deep tissue massage and the welcoming demeanor of the spa attendants. Suzannes attentive approach and exceptional skills left me thoroughly relaxed and satisfied, surpassing any other massage experiences Ive had in Dallas. However, while the service was outstanding, the spa amenities, such as the steam room and pools, appeared outdated and in need of modernization. Despite this, the valet service provided a personal touch, enhancing the overall customer experience and leaving me considering a return visit for another relaxing retreat in the future.

I’m currently 8-months pregnant and was looking for a luxurious spa to spend the day to relax before having my baby girl. The prenatal massage itself was amazing! Suzanne made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. From an amenities standpoint, I was looking forward to relaxing afterwards at the pool and the website communicated this was offered to spa members. The staff informed me upon arrival that the pool amenity was only offered to hotel guests. I was obviously disappointed since (as a pregnant woman) you can’t use any of the other amenities (sauna, whirlpool, complimentary champagne, etc.) and specifically chose this place cause of the pool. If you’re pregnant or expecting, this isn’t the place for you; the website falsely advertises the pool amenity. Thus $245 later, I definitely felt extremely upset and robbed.

I tried the spa here because the Ritz was closed for remodeling. The locker room attendants were very nice and helpful. I wouldn’t come here again, and here’s why. This is not a 5 star experience and the prices reflect a 5 star hotel spa. The towels are very small and rough to the touch so be prepared to feel sand paper after getting out of the steam room or shower. My massage was just okay. The room was noisy, one of the overhead air conditioning fans must of had a screw loose, and kept banging throughout my service which was annoying. The sitting room sofa had a stain on one of the cushions and most of the carpet needed to be steamed. I kept hearing the staff talked about how the spa had recently been remodeled which didn’t look updated to me. The entrance looked new, but not inside the locker room or actual spa area. Check that your locker acutely locks, we had issues finding one with a working keypad.

This was my born day gift and what a SPA. One of the best experience. Just make sure to get there early to enjoy amenities before the the massage. They have Sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy room. My favorite was the steam room and off course the massage. So great birthday gift for someone special if you are ever in Dallas.

Soooo…my husband is in Florida and paid for me to have a spa day here in Dallas. He paid for a Facial and a 80 min massage, not a cheap package by far. My husband calls ahead to see if I can arrive early to enjoy the other amenities such as the hydrotherapy, steam room, and the sauna. In which they told him I could. My appt was at 1 pm so I got there at 12:15. I was told that the lady would help me soon as she came back from her lunch break, so I waited. It was 12:50 and I stopped another lady that didn’t work in that area, told her that I had been there waiting since 12:15 so I could enjoy the other amenities. She made a call and I’m guessing they told her to get me started until the person that actually worked down there came back. Bless her because she got me my locker, robe, and slippers. By this time it was 12:55, then the lady who was supposed to help me shows up. She doesn’t really acknowledge me but greeted another lady (Caucasian) immediately. So I walked up to her and told her since it’s 5 mins til my appt I will enjoy the amenities after my appts to which she advised against, stating that it’s not recommended after a facial. I thought about it and was like maybe she is right. So I used the bathroom, then a lady comes calling me (Dr. Bennett). There was a Caucasian lady in there with me, that was who she was looking at when she called for Dr. Bennett lol. But when I answered she seemed shocked lol. We proceeded for the facial, I thought it was ok I have definitely received better services. Then I was taken back to the lounge for my massage. The lady greeted me, proceeded with the massage. Now I am not used to someone asking me repeatedly if I’m ok because most of the time I fall asleep if it’s a good massage but I felt like I couldn’t relax with this lady. Then to top it off, towards the end of the massage she placed my robe on my legs while I was laying there. I have never had someone throw my robe on me, tell me to get dressed, and I’ll meet you at the door. It seemed as if she was rushing me to get ready. I thought that was so rude. Then I proceeded to the lounge in which I decided to try the amenities because the lady that provided the facial stated that what she did was mild and wouldn’t hurt if I did do the steam/sauna room or the hydrotherapy. So I went for the hydrotherapy, then a lady comes to offer me lunch but could barely speak English (she was Hispanic) but she was so sweet. Turns out my husband called from Florida to tell them to inform me that he was buying me lunch. So they sent her but again there was a language barrier so I told her I didn’t want the lunch if it wasn’t included, not knowing my husband was paying for it. (Turns out they still charged him for my lunch that I never received, that’s terrible). Oh by the way you have no cellphone service when your down there lol, he said he tried calling me serial times. Also turns out there was free complimentary champagne that was offered when I was leaving smh. As I’ve mentioned before I have definitely had better services and my experience was definitely not a good one, especially for a fine looking establishment as the Crescent. I hope they do better. I definitely won’t be back.Dr. Bennett

The Crescent is a beautiful hotel but the spa was a let down. You have to walk through the gym to get to the lockers. It has a gym locker room feel, not a spa feel at all. The waiting area was very clinical and there was no music playing so you just sit in silence in a bare room. The spa rooms were the same. Very underwhelmed for what they charge.

It has taken me a few days to gather my thoughts on my time at The Crescent Spa. I got an 80 minute CBD massage. I was really looking forward to this and hoping it would help with my neck and back tension. I checked in, was led to the lockers and changed. My masseuse quickly called for me and led me to a room. I never filled out anything regarding allergies, trouble areas, or areas to focus on. The masseuse did ask what areas I’d like to focus on and I said my neck and back. The massage began and the masseuse‘s massage strokes were extremely fast. It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. It was an 80-min-massage so I was hoping to settle in and work out any knots. She barely focused on my back and shoulders. When I flipped over I was given a dry scratchy washcloth to cover my eyes. The room was cold and I told her I was cold (I had goosebumps) and she turned up the heat on the table but couldn’t adjust the room temperature. When the massage was over I was ushered out the door with a bye. Nothing else. I got to wind back through the spa alone. I wasn’t told if I could hang out a while or where to go from there so I just got dressed and left.I was extremely disappointed. The 23% gratuity is automatically added and although I do tip quite well, that service did not constitute the price I paid let alone a 23% tip. I left feeling like I still needed a massage

My husband and I frequently visit spas and were looking forward to trying this one for the first time. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed in the amenities. The hot tub was out of order in the men’s room. The steam rooms smelled of mold and had rust on the metal fixtures/leaking into the drain. The drain in the shower I used in the woman’s area was clogged and began filling with water. The products in the shower were very poor quality. Our massages were wonderful. Rafael and Caroline did a great job. The attendants in the locker rooms were very kind.Update: when I emailed my feedback to Melissa, the spa supervisor, she issued a full refund. This was an unexpected gesture and improved our perception of the crescent spa. We may give it another try some day.

I have never been here before but I was calling around to book a head to toe spa day and the sweet woman that answered the phone was just so wonderful and was able to fit me in for everything tomorrow which is a Saturday! Every other spa was 100% booked solid so speaking to her was a breath of fresh air especially knowing that I’m calling last minute she was so kind and patient and booked me for every service I am looking for! I haven’t even gone yet and I’m so looking forward to tomorrow and would 10/10 recommend this spa to all of my friends and family! If you’re looking to treat yourself or like me have a hubby that wants to book a full day spa so that you can relax this is 100% the place to do it! Thank y’all again for working me into your schedule you are HIGHLY appreciated 💜

I came to the Crescent for a spa day with a friend. This was my first spa experience and I didnt know what to expect. We were greeted by a host that gave us a tour. We used the sauna and steam room which were clean and accommodated both of us comfortably. My massage was the highlight of my spa experience. Adrina did an amazing job. She was very attentive and tended to all of my problem areas. She worked at them (as requested) and by time I left I felt a notable difference. Adrina pampered me from head to toe (literally). I appreciate her professionalism, her kindness, and passion for her art. Thank you Adrina and the crescent for a great first spa experience!

She was so sweet and attentive, we really enjoyed her service and how often she checked on us. Kara (or Cara) gave me the best massage. She was very nice and made my experience so pleasant. We had great conversation and my back felt awesome when I left. Will definitely be back again!

Yikes. The good part first— the staff is absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the ladies at the spa reception desk to the staff in the actual spa were lovely and very helpful. The customer service was five stars. The spa itself is another story. I did not get a service, I only used the facilities (steam room, sauna, etc.) The steam room was humid but there was ZERO steam. I don’t even understand how. There was a very faint scent of eucalyptus, but mostly smelled of body odor and there were lots of stains and it just didn’t look very sanitary. I had to leave after less than a minute. The sauna was decent, but not very hot. I peeked in the whirlpool room but didn’t go in after my encounter with the steam room. The only areas that looked nice were the sink areas in the restroom, and the relaxation lounge with the couches (and even that wasn’t very relaxing, as the fluorescent lights were extremely bright.) I left after ten minutes. I was hoping for a similar experience that you find at the Joule but was ultimately disappointed. This place has so much potential, but needs some serious renovations and updates.

Spa day with 3 other ladies and had a great time. Spa amenities were clean and organized.I had a scrub and the therapist was great but had a very light touch. She kept breaking contact and felt a little clumsy around the table. We ordered lunch and it arrived about 30 minutes later. Pretty typical for room service however we never saw anybody after the food was dropped off. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and it was very subpar. Chicken was cold, rubbery and tasteless like it was grilled yesterday. The other ladies ordered the soup and it was too spicy for them. Again no one to help after food was dropped off. When we went back to the spa to use the sauna I was disappointed they did not offer cold hand towels over ice. I had to track down a hand towel from the shower and rinse it under cold water. Overall it was a nice day but I was not wow’d and for the price I expect a little wow at least.

Had a very disappointing experience today, enough so that I don’t believe I’ll be returning (which is extra sad because I got married at the Crescent and have always thought of it so fondly). It’s been a few years since I’ve been in the spa, and today it was extra obvious how overdue the steam/sauna/shower and restroom areas are for a update. That I could get past. However, my facial experience was unpleasant at best. The women who perform my facial wore ear pods, and I could intermittently hear what she was listening to. Additionally, she was gruff in her demeanor and very rough with my skin. It really felt like she didn’t feel the need to impress me because her tip (23% added gratuity) was already in the bag. For the money I would definitely advise going to the Joule or Four Seasons instead.

My daughter and I visited June 2019. The massage and facial were very good. The staff is fantastic. However, for the price point the facilities and overall experience are lacking. A bit outdated showers, sauna/hydrotherapy, locker room. Not even fruit infused water. Seems that it is more of a status symbol for regular socialite members in town, than a world class spa. We paid over $400 and would not return.

If it weren’t for the problems I encountered I would give this spa a solid 4-star review. It won best of Big D as the best spa in Dallas this year and I agree that aesthetically this spa is pleasing. The renovations are nice-this spa is comfortable, the sauna is small but nice, the steam room is great (although I prefer more eucalyptus), and there are plenty of fully stocked showers. However I would not agree with the reviews given by Big D magazine.Although I only came here for a pedicure today I was looking forward to the amenities that come with a higher pedicure price. My pedicure itself was fine. Unfortunately, however, I experienced several problems that made my overall experience less than worth the price.First- I confirmed when booking my options for parking. The receptionist informed me that the spa validates “all day valet” or “3 hours in self park”. When I arrived to valet in the rain I was informed that valet does not accept spa validation. No big deal. He directed me to the self park area. However the signage was poor and I wasted precious time in the spa looking for the spa.Second- the hot tub was so hot I could barely stick my toes in and after a few seconds had to remove them. I am someone who loves hot water, hot showers, and can pull hot food out of the oven-no problem. So I assure you this water was not a safe temperature.Third- after sweating in the steam room and sauna I looked forward to a warm shower. However the attendant told me the hot water was not working and that engineering was working on it. After waiting another two hours to shower (at least I got to relax on a couch) the water was still cold. So... I took a cold shower. I understand this can happen to any business but I’d expect a business of this caliber to be supporting its customers with discounts or coupons towards future services. When I expressed my frustration at check out I barely got an “I’m sorry” from the receptionist. A cold shower in a high class hotel spa is NOT my idea of relaxation.Fourth- in the shower the shampoo dispenser was broken, as well as the body wash dispenser. This is something that the attendant should be aware of and replace.Fifth- one of the two hair dryers were broken. I informed the attendant but nothing was done to fix this while I was there.Sixth- when I went to check out (I was cutting it close to the three hour parking validation time frame) I waited for a long time. I waited even more while the receptionist struggled to log onto the computer. Then, when she couldn’t figure out how to validate parking I waited while she struggled through this. When she could not validate my parking (not sure why she couldn’t-I had provided her my ticket) she insisted I should “just keep pushing the button” and tell whoever I could in the parking garage to let me out. I expressed concern with this but she was unwilling to ask a manager for help (even though I had requested to speak with a manager) and insisted several more times to “just keep pushing the button”. I was less than surprised, and frankly angry, when I had a hard time exiting the parking garage. This spa has got to get it together. I will be taking myself back to the Joule for a truly relaxing and flawless experience.

I wanted to try the nail salon here, and for the price point I expected MUCH more than I received. The room was humid and uncomfortable. The nail technician was nice, but didnt do a good job at all. He shaped most of my nails crookedly. The hand massage was not much worth talking about. There was no UV light to sit under to let the nail polish dry - merely a small fan to hold your hand in front of for a few minutes before you left IF there was no one behind you waiting to get their nails done.I left underwhelmed and ready to leave.

I was very disappointed in this spa. First, I had booked a stay at the hotel weeks in advance for a wedding that I was attending. The Crescent sent me a Guest Preference Form to fill out a few days before I arrived. I indicated on there that I wanted to book a spa package (facial, massage, manicure, pedicure) on a Friday. It was a 4-5 hour treatment. I thought it was strange that I didn’t get a confirmation when I sent it but when I got there, they said they didn’t have anything on file for me. So, it wasn’t booked. Ok, whatever, so I asked if they could fit me in and they couldn’t. So I asked if they could at least do a mani-pedi for me and they were able to get me in for that next day. When I arrived for my appointment, I was called back on schedule. The staff was nice but when they brought me over to pick my colors for my nails, I asked if I could get french instead. The staff member looked at me like I had asked her something strange and fumbled for an answer. She brought me to my technician who told me that because I wanted french, she had to cut down on my leg and arm massage so she could fit in the french paint. I “only had 50 minutes”. I was a little upset by that because if this was an issue, they should have asked me upfront if I wanted french or color. I’ve never had an issue anywhere else I’ve gone and I’ve been getting pedicures for over 10 years. So, whatever, she did my nails except I got NO massage at all! The closest thing was a 10 second scrub on my legs. She washed it off as fast as she put it on! She also seemed rushed the whole time, presumably because of my french request. It wasn’t relaxing at all and I couldn’t wait to leave. This place is also crazy expensive but it wasn’t any better than my $25 pedicures that I usually get. This spa is only concerned with getting people in and out and they seem to be on a strict schedule. And I will also add that this was supposed to be an early anniversary gift from my husband but that was a bust! My technician wasn’t friendly or particularly talkative and treated the whole thing robotically. The only positives were that they didn’t charge me for adding the french because I didn’t get a massage, thanks. The paint-job itself was nice and I was happy with the results. Overall though, disappointed.

Disappointing would be a serious understatement. I booked this 5.5 hour spa package 2-months in advance for me and my brothers fiancé since I could not attend her bachelorette weekend. I spent over $740 on the day (20% gratuity was included of course). I booked both of our packages together and paid for them while she was getting her facial so that she wouldnt have to see the cost of the day. When we got to the manicure and pedicure part the staff didnt even put us in the same room. I was in another room in a corner and she was so far away I couldnt even see her let alone hear her. When I told them that wouldnt work and we needed to be next to each other, since I had booked the spa packages together, the people working in the mani/pedi section and the lady downstairs told me they couldnt. Which is funny because there was a private nail room open with two chairs available at that same time. The staff told us to sit down and choose our color.I said that I had spent a lot of money and that was the only part where we could be together to talk, so it was very important to me to be in the same room NEXT TO EACH OTHER. The staff told me they couldnt do anything about it and if I wanted to I could talk with the person at the upstairs. I asked if they could call the people upstairs, so I wouldnt have to go upstairs in my robe, but the people downstairs told me no - I would have to walk. So, I got to walk upstairs in my robe to talk to the people upstairs (no name given of who exactly to even talk to). This was another fun experience because there were men going in and out of the exercise room, as was the general public, while I was standing in a robe with nothing on underneath trying to get the staff to change our sears. Also, I pre-paid for our lunch and $30 of mimosas, so my brothers fiancé wouldnt have to worry about the cost of anything, but when we got to the part of our itinerary (that the staff created) for lunch there was no one anywhere to be seen. When someone finally came they asked if we were planning to eat and we said yes we already turned in our order from the menu we were given earlier that morning. While she was trying to figure out the situation I asked if we could have the mimosas I had ordered. The server told me it would be extra - I told her I had already paid for it. She eventually called the front and found out it was already paid for.During lunch, no one ever asked us if we needed anything else while were eating, no one ever asked us if we wanted something else to drink, no one refilled our waters, the lights were even off in the main dining area so you couldnt even see anything, so we sat at the bar area. We had both said that after looking at the juice menus next to the bar counter that we wanted to order some, but we were never given the opportunity to order or pay for it.Another really fun part of the day was when brothers fiancé was getting her facial. I had asked the front desk if I could go ahead and pay then, so she would not have to hear how much the spa day would cost. I gave the staff a gift certificate to go towards part of it and then my credit card for the other part. The lady at the front desk said she couldnt figure out the gift certificate machine and that I should go downstairs for my spa day and IF (she) could figure out the machine then (she) would take that out and then put the rest on my card.IF isnt exactly what you want to hear after handing someone a $155 gift card. I was told to go back downstairs while they tried to figure it out. This was the worst spa experience I have ever had. We had always wanted to do a nice spa day it was one of those bucket list things, so we thought it would be special to do together. I guess I should have had lower expectations... NOTE: I had more horrible experiences happen during this spa day. but there were too many characters to fit in this review.

I am not sure why this spa has such poor reviews. In fact, I almost canceled my appointment after reading all of them. I decided to go ahead and go and I am so glad I did. I am a facial junky and have been to several nice spas across the metroplex. I know a good facial and unfortunately I also know a bad one! With that said, the facial I received at the Crescent Spa was fantastic. When you go, request the aesthetician I used! Her name is Azam. The facial was very relaxing and my skin is glowing. I guess the only thing I could criticize is the spa itself. It is a bit outdated and could use a renovation, but dont let that keep you from getting a facial from Azam. I will be going back, for sure :)

A 5 Star hotel with a 1 Star spa. Mens locker room attendants do not speak clear English and are difficult to understand. One called Nacho (apparently his nick name - what a classy name) follows you around everywhere trying to cater to your every need so you will tip him. My wife and I were with another couple and the two of us men were using the mens steam room. The locker room attendant that everyone called Nacho” kept coming into the steam room as if he was looking for something or would just ask if we needed water, cold towel, just look around, etc. He came in so many times I finally asked some of the club members, What is he looking for? We are there to relax not be hassled by the locker room attendant repeatedly coming in and out of the steam room. I am happy our wifes did not experience this. The locker room is outdated and needed updated 5 years ago. This was our first and last visit to the Crescent Spa.
