The Manager of this hotel responds to comments about the hotel by saying:“We apologize for your unsatisfactory to the filthy molded carpet and stains and the uncanny smell of our hotel rooms” etc.”-But they still haven’t decided to spend customers money buying new carpet; repainting, making sure there isn’t any bed bugs, nor mildew or mold. They rather keep the money for their pockets in order to “feel” rich!You have to spend money in order to make money (make a profit).Hopefully one day they will realize the reason they are having a stressful life is because they are being selfish. The Universe is not going to allow the owners of this hotel prosper until they do right by customers to spend their hard earned money to stay here.Owners: Would you sleep in these mold infested rooms yourselves? Maybe one day you’ll have to if you keep this selfish attitude up.
Stopped here late at night to be close to Scottish rite hospital and this Hotel was very dirty room smelled bad carpet was dirty and room furniture was broken bathroom had mold and roach on floor and my daughter woke up to bed bug bites on arms and hands the check in process was bad to begin with the front hotel was locked and no one would answer door called hotel phone 3 times and no one answered. Overall bad experience.
Worst hotel ive stayed in. I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY 100$ DEPOSIT. as soon as i entered my room it smelled so horrible!!! the carpets are nasty with stains and mold in the room carpet. i spotted a roach on the counter. i had to go to the front desk and ask to change rooms and when i got down there, there was already someone down there that was unsatisfied with their nasty room. the guy at the front desk was no help. i couldnt even switch rooms until the second night. abd i couldnt leave becouse im not from dallas and it was late at night. SO i had to stay in that unlivable moldy room for the night then when i switched rooms there were still roaches!!! i felt dirty just staying there! there is no breakfast served only coffee but i would not even want to eat their breakfast after seeing what the room looked and smelled like NEVER AGAIN
THEY STOLE MY DEPOSIT. I paid 2 separate $100 deposits during my near two week stay here. One deposit took an entire month after my stay to be returned and the other deposit was finalized on my card and never returned. When I called the hotel to inquire about when I would receive them before their finalization I was told that the one I received had been released and that they would not be returning my other deposit because of the physical alteration I got into with one of the employees. THE EMPLOYEE ASSAULTED ME, called me out of my name, annd cussed me out and they treated me like I was the aggressor. My stay here was an absolute nightmare. The only reason I didn’t stay around to file a police report is because there were 3 employees on staff that day including the employee that assaulted me and they all took up for her and told me they would tell the officers that I hit her first even though they clearly saw that she punched me in my face first. So I did not want to have to deal with their word against mine with no other witnesses on Thanksgiving.
One of the dirtiest nasty smelling hotels I have ever experienced. We checked out immediately after checking in. The location is very sketchy and dangerous. There was dried blood on the floor, dirt, and unknown other stains. The couch was so dirty you couldnt even sit on it. Tape was holding up the walls. The bathroom was disgusting. They would not refund any of the 7 days that we booked. We ended up booking another hotel that was very satisfactory. Do not stay here if you have any medical conditions. You are also taking a chance on your life staying there. The hotel clerk hung up on me when calling to get a refund.
This hotel was filthy! My room was disgusting as well. It had blood all over the floors, bath tub was dirty, and my sheets were dirty like someone had dirt all over them. My tv also didn’t work. It was no breakfast, no microwave or water. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. The halls were dirty and you can smell all the animal urine everywhere. People were loud and arguing all through the night. Only thing good was the staff, other than that do NOT stay here.
On my first night I woke up to BEDBUGS which had bitten me, head to toe. I captured a few specimens, and then proceeded to notify the front desk. They assigned me another room without even asking if Id contained the issue. Knowing that I would only spread them to the next room, I purchased pesticidal dust, on my own dime, and treated the entire room, my belongings, and vehicle. Two staff members witnessed the live insects I had captured, in-person, that same day.My bites were so painful and swollen. I looked like a monster for a week. I am a residential contractor, and I had to take time off of work because I did not want to risk spreading the insects to any of my clients homes.When I spoke to the general manager and asked for some type of compensation, they refused, stating that there was no evidence found by a exterminator, who conducted a sweep a week after I reported it. I calmly explained that there had been witnesses and showed them the photos of my bites and of the insects I had captured in a cup. The general manager told me, defiantly, that she, only saw a cup.Never before have I experienced such an unapologetic lack of respect and shameless, blatant dishonesty. Rather than compensate me, for what any reasonable person would consider unacceptable conditions, she pretended not to see these bedbugs in this cup... Ill let you be the judge.I urge you to stay elsewhere... at OYO Townhouse, your comfort and well-being are of no concern.
The room was filthy, the check in process was a disaster, the phone didnt work to call room service, the refrigerator was broken, fresh towels promised on the second day and not delivered. Fresh towels had to be requested because they only clean rooms once a week. The hallways smelled of smoke and we heard gunshots 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. My receipt was not provided by the hotel staff since I was a prepayment customer on Priceline! Overall a horrible experience!
My experience with it was not good. They did not answer to call the depot and you were not able to reach the manager. They are procrastinating now for more than two months. I have gone a lot to get the depot and every day they say come to the manager at 6 in the morning. They say it is not available. The worst place I have sat in and they did not clean the rooms at all. If I could rate them less than a star, I would do so.
Dirtiest hotel Ive ever seenStains on couch and floorsBathroom had hair all over the floor. You can tell floors havent been cleaned. Found hair beads on the floor. Bathtub dirty all the lamps, switches and AC is dirty. Walls have splatter which looked like blood. Curtains dirty. TV still has stickers from purchase.Nothing to drink on site no working vending machine or anything.
Hands down the nastiest hotel Ive ever stayed at. The bed was barely made, the walls and carpet looked like they have never been cleaned. It had a gross musty smell. I legitimately had to change my socks after we left because it left a weird grime on them just from walking on the carpet while getting ready to escape this place. The breakfast was just a waffle machine with paper plates. Couldnt even cut my waffle because they didnt have knives. I wish I could get my money back.Beware of this place. Youd be better off sleeping at the airport.
This hotel was happy to accept my 100 deposit, but when I tried to renew my reservation with the front desk, she informed me that I would have to leave another $100 deposit to stay due to the room being booked 3rd party. The 3rd party wasn’t even who asked for the deposit, so how could they be the reason I couldn’t stay without another deposit?! This really put me in a bind, I had no car and was going thru something. The hotel showed no empathy, it was almost like they didn’t want me there. OVERPRICED, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND WILL NOT BE BACK. The carpets are gross, too. Like someone had been working on machinery and nobody bothered to clean up. Ewww!Do NOT waste your time or money here!!!
The worst hotel I’ve ever encountered!! It was absolutely disgusting. First above anything after I left my room, when I came back I was unable to get back into my room because I was told the manager had accidentally assigned me to two different rooms. So I was locked out of my room with all my belongings in there for a good 5 minutes before I could retrieve my belongings. I was unable to take a shower due to there having a roach in the bathtub. The curtains were covered with blood along with the blankets being filthy. I wasn’t even able to sleep comfortably with the blankets and room being so dirty. I’ve stayed at a motel 6 that was in way better condition than this. I will be contacting the corporate entity to further complain about my stay.
Starting off with booking/checking in...we booked 2 rooms one in my name and the 2nd in my sons name(18yr old). We live about 6 hours from the hotel and my son arrived before I did. Upon my son checking in, they denied him. Room was booked and paid for and nowhere online does it say 21 yrs and up. They said he had to be 21 to get a hotel there. Luckily we have family who live in the area and were able to help my son.2nd when I arrive around midnight....man at the desk was rude sarcastic and disgusting. His shirt was dirty was not ironed was not even tucked in.3rd..breakfast- horrible you have to ask for your breakfast (sausage biscuits)at the front desk and you heat it up.4th-says smoke free.. rooms and hallway reek of smoke/weed. Disgusting5th- room 226 beds were nasty. Booked a double queen bed room and got full size..toilet did not flush, sink was clogged and no cold water in shower. Told front desk in the am and said they were going to fix it by the time we came back. WAS NOT FIXED and were not moved to another room6th- pool is closed maybe yall should list that online!I see a lot of reviews where you apologize and say we will address it, you OBVIOUSLY do not and if you do your staff does not give 2 sh!ts about the company/appearance.Only thing I did like is the gated parking
The new manager tonya is disgusting. She is rude, she’s condescending, she’s sarcastic. The quality of service has gone completely down. The hotel was already bad, but at least the staff was nice. Since she’s been there it’s been nothing but trouble. Find a new manager that cares about complaints and customer experience. She’s racist and prejudice. Typical privileged individual. She should be terminated immediately!
I had a reservation for Nov 1st. I was honestly just needing to rest a few hours and then I was leaving the same day. Well when I got to the property I waited over 15mins for someone until I just got desperate and went and found a housekeeper to find someone so when te lady came to the counter I was telling her I had a reservation she said well theres a 50 early check in few and 150 dollar deposit for you Sir. Mind you Im transitioning and I live my life as a female I was wearing a dress my nails were done hot pink I had my bag on my arm. So I corrected her and said its maam please dont be disrespectful. So I just tell her that it doesnt make sense to pay an extra 50 to check In less than 2 hours before 3pm especially with a 150 deposit and the room was on 47 plus tax on priceline. So I asked could she just cancel the reservation for me and I would go somewhere I could check in right away cause I was tired she stated that she could she had the authority she is the gm but she isnt going to if I cancel the reservation I would be charged the cancelation fee SIR. At this point Im clearly offended I asked for the properties mgmt company or the franchisee information to file a complaint she then walks to the back brings out a business card and said heres the number to complain and gave me hed business card. She was down right disrespectful. I work for a hotel I know what she could and couldnt do. My point is she never had had to disrespect me. I was very calm and polite with her.tben after hours on the phone with priceline speaking to rep after rep one telling me they would relocate me others hanging up on me to offering me 20% next time I book which I will never use priceline or booking ever again. I have contacted the trans pride initiative group in dallas to let them know about the discrimination and if they would help get the word out about how disgusting this company treats paying guests. I filed a complaint with oyo still nothing im.gonna contact the mgmt company that is listed as the owner online. At this point it not about the Lil $60 its about making sure this evil woman doesnt get to hurt anyone else
Everything about this place was terrible, the place is flat out filthy, and needs to be closed or remodeled.1. the room floors are sticky and the pet urine smell hits you as soon as you walk in,2. The bed sheet look like you know what was stained all over them3. The ice machine has black mold mixed in the ice4. Not a safe part of Dallas at all, ladies of the night everywhere5. THE WORST FOR LAST... Check in is at 3pm my flight arrived @8a.m. and the manager refused to let use EVENsit in the huge empty lunge, She requested we site out side off the property until check in like Scorching hot weather...so now Im a 1000 miles away from home and now were go with a load of luggage

When we came in to the lobby to check in we waited in the front for a worker to assist us but there was no one in sight for over 15 minutes. Finally a housekeeper walked by and we asked her if there was anybody working the front desk. She went looking and said that the front desk worker was on the phone. Why would there not be a phone at the front desk but in a back room. Rooms are pretty bad and smells like smoke. There are stains all over the rug there are cigarette Burns in the couch the desk chair is falling apart. The lady who assisted Us in the front was not helpful you couldnt understand anything that she was saying. Their customer service is not great here and we had to ask for towels and was told to place the dirty towels outside our door and they would bring new towels and place them on the floor of our door, NASTY.... The bathroom floor is not very clean toilet seat is yellow. Do not let pictures of this place deceive you. Definitely book elsewhere spend more money if you want to have a comfortable stay and enjoy your vacation. Tried to add pictures but it would let me.
It was a nice clean atmosphere. The room was comfortable and clean. You have a personal coffee pot and a mini fridge. The fact that you can reserve the room again thirty minutes before check out is a plus. The pool area was quite nice. They have a huge patio area to relax at. Some stuff was outdated it yet it was clean. The breakfast area is really nice. They have an excellent breakfast that consist of making your own waffles. It was a nice experience. Good price for the booking on short notice. The hospitality was great!
9/01/2023I was placed here by an agency that helps homeless mothers.3wks ago was here for 1 night so didn’t make a big deal but very nasty room. Didn’t sleep in the sheets. 1st 14 pics will be from that room. The rest from present room.2nd room is a lot cleaner! Way less stains. Everything clean pretty much. Except carpet. Hotel and area quiet from what I see but who knows.They have a gate to parking lot that requires key.No bugs in either room.Cons: No microwave. Freezer part of the refrigerator was iced up. No chair for the desk, desk is broken. Closet door of rail. Mildew/moldy air conditioner. One of the lamps is broken.Computer/printer doesn’t work.The worse part about this hotel is the service. Check-in: black man with the glasses (will get his name later) was nonchalant. I said I had a nasty room last time. He asked what I meant. I explained and he literally ignored me from there. Gave the room key, told me about breakfast and that’s it. I let it be because I knew I’d demand a cleaner room if I got to the room and it was nasty so I decided to at least wait and see what it looked like. Luckily it’s fine.Later, requested someone fix the refrigerator freezer and bring microwave. He was on his phone and barely listening. Bad customer service. Brought microwave, didn’t do anything about the freezer.Next morning I asked Tanya and she said “the best thing they can do is unplug it and let it thaw out.” I said “it’s going to leak all over your floor. And mildew and smell. She said “that’s all I can do”. She had a I don’t care, oh well attitude. (She had the same unwelcoming demeanor when I first met her. The reviews about her treating people like they’re trespassers and stuff makes sense because that’s the vibe I get). I kept asking so you want us to live like that? And smell that? And she just kept saying that’s the best she could do. No, it’s not the best, you’re the head manager. There’s absolutely more you can do, you just don’t want to. Then said there’s a tray in there to catch the water. Which no there isn’t. And even so, not my job.Called down 2 days later, asked for someone to clean the air conditioner because it’s mold or mildew (which I mentioned to the guy when I checked in) and also for someone to fix the closet door. She said “I’ll see what I can do”. Like what? Another time she’s acting like she doesn’t have much power. How about, “I’m sorry about that, I will get that token care of and someone over there”.Asked for towels. There was only one face towel but 2 medium and 2 big towels. I have 3 kids. She claimed they only give one face towel. Which I know isn’t true because that sounds crazy. I said this is a 2 bed-room that I’m in which sleeps up to 4 guest and you only give 1 towel for the 4 guest?” She straight up said “yes”.I bet if I ask for more trash bags and another box of tissues (because I’m out) she’ll tell me no. Which is why I’m gonna contact someone higher up because I need towels to bathe me and my kids.I don’t see anyone mentioning Juan, the guy that does maintenance. He told me he’s worked here for 9yrs. He’s the nicest staff here. Probably the only. Tanya didn’t send anyone to clean air conditioner so I asked Juan who does that him or housekeeping. He said housekeeping but he’ll go ahead and clean it. He did a great job!! Give him a raise if he hasn’t received already. 9yrs is along time, and to put up with changing managers/owners.Also he took the refrigerator and defrosted. Not sure if she changed her mind or if he did it on his own due to common sense. Defrosting inside the room is senseless.Suggestions: lamp shades that don’t stain, expand breakfast options. Doesn’t have to be hot but come on just waffles? Better waffle batter. Since you partner with homeless organization remodel some rooms with kitchenettes maybe? Or at least oversized mini fridge/Hot plate? Hire a new manager that actually cares about the building and hospitality to all people of different classes, races, and life circumstances.Carpets cleaned as soon as possible.
DO NOT STAY HERE! Hotel does NOT do good business! They charged me still for a room I did not stay and cancelled beforehand. They claimed they needed 24-48 hours to review and still denied cancelling and charged my card. And trust the reviews you see! Roaches and rats everywhere? Unacceptable living conditions. Just atrocious!
Where do I start? They lured us in with what looked like a beautiful room but the only thing that they manage to maintain is the lobby. My friend checked us in and the front desk employee forgot to give her back her I.D. You’d think he’d remember if he had gotten off the phone and taken out his earbuds while speaking with her. We walked into our room and it smelled like someone just smoked a cigarette or two before leaving.There were so many stains of varying sizes on the carpet. Maybe spend less on the lobby decor and more on a carpet cleaner for your guests. The shower walls were grimy and looked like nobody has scrubbed them in months (not to mention another random stain on the wall right by the toilet.) My friend’s bed had a random red stain on the side. The manual lock that stops someone from fully opening the door on the wall was broken. Super secure.I wish I was joking when I say that this experience was anything but disappointing. We were excited but this place is not it. Spend the extra money on a hotel.
Do not stay here. The room I got smelled like mold and bed bugs. I told them to change rooms and was told by management that all the rooms were the same. They were very nasty to me. I recorded the entire conversation. I will be sending to the company. I watched as the cleaning staff fused out a customer. There were people asking questions about being over charged and they fussed them out. When dealing with me they spoke Spanish the entire time and the in English told me to take my refund and go find another hotel. If I can post audio here I will. It’s said if you have a budget that forces you to stay here. The staff need to be replaced and the rooms deep cleaned (carpet, walls, soiled couch) and then maybe this place will be live-able. If you have to stay here please don’t stay long term. The mold is soooo strong. God forbid children have to endure. If possible keep your windows open. I hope that somethings is don’t after I send this clip. Just one friendly face could have made things better. I did see that the lady checking in people was smiling until her manager came around the corner fussing out customers and then she became mean as well. Replace that manager. She is giving this company a bad image.
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTEDI booked this hotel because it was advertised to have free transportation from the airport and 24/7 check in. It had neither. After waiting an hour at the airport for the shuttle I called reservations to find out where the shuttle was. I was not only informed that there was no shuttle, but I was also informed by Maria the receptionist that I did not have a reservation although I had email confirmation. I called an Uber and when I arrived at the hotel at approximately 11am, Maria, who had a lot of attitude informed me that I wouldn’t be able to check in until 3pm. She wouldn’t allow for early check in or for me to at least check my luggage in so I was instructed to wait in the lobby for 4 hours after I’d been flying since 4am. I then requested for her to confirm my booking since I was told on the phone that I did not have a reservation. To which she responded without even checking the system “Yes! You have a reservation” very hostile waving me away to go sit in the lobby. After waiting in the lobby for 4 hours, I went back to the desk at 3 pm to check in. By this time another receptionist, Julie, had joined Maria. Maria brushed me off once again saying I couldn’t check in yet with no explanation as to why. Julie then explained to me very politely that they were having problems the system and they couldn’t check me in until they were able to check out others which I understood, but that’s all Maria had to do instead of talking to me like she did. I waited another hour and went back to the desk at 4pm. Maria ONCE AGAIN brushed me off telling me to wait another 20 minutes. At this point Julia came over, took over the computer and checked me in with no problem. I was disappointed to learn that there was an extra $100 charge I would have to pay in order to stay as this was never mentioned. But I went ahead and paid it as Julie explained that it would be refunded to my account after checkout. It has now been a month and it has still not been refunded to my account. I even called the hotel to see what the hold up was and they told me that they released the funds. Overall, I am highly disappointed with this hotel. The room was nice and clean, the staff (aside from Maria) was pleasant and helpful, but this hotel is not at all what it was advertised to be online. And as far as I’m concerned I was robbed of not only hours of my time, but an extra $100. Would not recommend.
The room was mostly clean except for the blood stains on the bed covering. We had originally reserved the room and paid in advance only to find out they didnt honor our coupon from the booking site. So we had to go through the whole process in the lobby which took over 30 mins and since they took a security deposit (which was a great surprise) on top of our reservation and room costs. It locked our card up because it was a weird out of state charge. We werent able to do much at all because of this. Pretty much ruined our entire trip. The parking gates were broken so there were just random homeless people chilling in the gated parking area (very secure). The site said they offer free breakfast and showed a nice selection like most places. Only it was just waffles and coffee. Very disappointing since they got our card locked up and we couldnt afford decent food anywhere else. Probably one of the worst traveling experiences ever. Thank you OYO Townhouse Love Field we know whom not to use in the future. Avoid this place like the plague.
Beside all the other stuff, I had to pay a one hundred dollar deposit, its been close to a month now, still have received, and when you call the hotel about it, they dont answer! and it just hangs up on you! will update when and IF I get my deposit back.So I DID get my deposit back. Finally did speak with someone, they explained that the hundred dollar deposit is just a hold, and it releases back to your account at some point after your stay. Cant say for sure how long but did get the deposit back, and it wasnt too long. Overall tho, you get what you pay for. Although the rooms are not bad, the type of people who stay at this hotel are not people you wanna share walls with.
Booked to nights. As soon as we got there around 11pm to check if we saw prostitutos all up and down the street. If you have kids do not go there!! The rooms were in bad conditions. white stains on the couch and others all over the carpet. Weird smell. Shower had no hot water.
If I could you a negative rating I would. Booked through booking.com- because you offered free airport shuttle and non-smoking rooms.Called to schedule transportation- no on answered and I was stranded. After paying 40$ to get there. Receptionist said phone were not working and they no longer offer shuttles.Got to my room. TV was broken. AC sounded like a plane engine. Room smelled of cigarettes. I go to lay on the bed. MATTRESS WAS SOAKED! Completely gross. I was moved to a different room. Receptionist acted like it was a bother to her. I have requested a refund and the manager is saying there was no issues with my stay. This is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever booked. Save your money and book anywhere else.
Weird stains on the carpet, mattress, and towels, the shower water was SUPER HOT and didnt had any warm or cold water, and had a weird smell inside. It was okay to sleep in for the night, but dont come back.
By far one of the grossest place iv ever stayed... rooms smelled really bad had aside from bugs and roaches in my room and having blood stains on the bed sheets, also asked for towels and was told that they only had one house keeper available so they would get them asoon as possible and was their 3 night towels never came. Also pool was closed it was 109 degrees outside. Wouldnt stay their again even if it was for free...
This place is beyond disgusting, the room was unlivable for most human beings. I would feel bad to let a homeless person stay there. The room smelt like a smokers bingo hall, the walls and carpet have never seen a clean job since being installed. The bed smelt like body odor, the bathroom had black mold around the caulking in the tub. There was a computer chair that they probably got from a trash bin. There was also a joint door to the next room over that the handles and lock were broken off so if they wanted to walk in it’s open game.. Honestly this place should be shut down and anyone that ever spent and full night there should seek medical help asap. We honestly walked in and walked straight back out.
First and foremost this place advertise breakfast, but they actually don’t serve breakfast or any substitute for it.The security guard was extremely weird and I felt like he was watching me. He even went as far as passing my room and saying, “This is the room she normally comes out of.” I immediately reported him to the front desk to Savannah. Savannah and Lorena are the ONLY two employees with good customer service.I’ve stayed here previously and requested a late checkout (I needed an additional 20 minutes) but I was told no. On my second time checking in, before even speaking to me the manager Janine said, “We’re not doing late checkouts.” Janine is very unpleasant and unprofessional. I literally watched her display the worst service while I was checking in. She needs a customer service oriented training. Many other customers and I shared the same frustrations.They disregard the, “privacy” sign on the door and still try to enter.I checked out on Friday and still didn’t receive my deposit so I called today. Upon speaking with Lorena she notified me that they, “forgot” to refund me. How do you forget? You all didn’t forget to charge me for it or make sure it was paid prior to even getting the room.The establishment itself is very nice and feels safe, especially with the gate. I’vey stayed here TWICE for days at a time.However, due to the customer service I would NOT recommend. I would actually like someone corporate to reach out to me so that I can give a more detailed description of my experience.
Absolutely awful service! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Rooms were dirty, musky smelling, and the service was the worst Ive ever experienced. The curtains were visabily dirty with something that appeared like dirt smeared and blood across the curtains. After we booked online, I called the front desk to advise our plane arrived early and asked if we could check in early. The front desk manager was extremely rude and short with us. She would only answer in a few words and was huffing and puffing and acting like we were a bother just for asking a question. We later went to the front desk to advise we had a package being delivered from Amazon to the hotel (which has never been an issue before at other hotels) and the front desk quickly informed us that the manager will send the package back if one is delivered. Even Amazon was shocked and said they never had a hotel decline a package. My husband and I have worked in customer service for a combined almost 13 years, and we have never experienced such awful customer service. Every interaction with the hotel staff and management was horrendous. Do not stay here
I was here for 4 nights this January because I got a special $126 deal on booking.com. I was going to rate 3.5 but since I cant do a half rating on Google, I considered 4 but settled instead for 3. This place is okay but I had several issues here. (1) On booking.com, it stated that they do shuttle pick ups from the nearby airport, Dallas Love Fields, so I was really disappointed when I called from the airport and the front desk told me that they currently dont do airport pick ups, yet their van just sits out there in front. (2) From their listing on booking.com, I thought they had breakfast only to hear at the front desk that they currently dont do breakfasts because of COVID. (3) On booking.com, there was no mention of a $100 refundable deposit so I was surprised at the front desk when I was told to pay the $100 refundable deposit. The deposit is refunded to you as long there is no damage to the room. I did get my deposit back. (4) On my last night, I saw a small roach in my room. As long as it wasnt a big one or flying big one, I can live with that. It wasnt a big deal. However, if I had seen more than that one small roach, then I would have had a real problem with this place. (5) This hotel could really use better carpeting in the rooms but its okay though.
First impressions werent great. there were 3 ladies of the night right outside the hotel, we walked into the lobby & it looked great, just reeked of mary jane. the man at the desk was nice.. didnt really know what he was doing. the lady, on the other hand, was rude & tried to jip us $250 for a pet fee. there was no deposit, that was the fee for TWO NIGHTS. incase there was any damage to the room. we managed to get the price lower, THANK GOD. when we walked into the room we were welcomed by the stench of cigarettes & stains all over the floor (we have pictures & videos of the walk through just incase they try to up charge us once again) the floors havent been vacuumed as theres trash littered in some places & the baseboards are FILTHY. i dont recommend this place, you might as well spend an extra $80-$100 for a better hotel. A SAFER HOTEL. we shouldve turned around as soon as we pulled onto the street.
Terrible customer service. Clerk never gave husband back his ID when checking in and by time he realized it he was already back home in Michigan. He called to have them send it and they want us to go through the hassle of setting up an account with FedEx, creating a label, then paying $15 to have it shipped back. First and foremost it was THEIR clerk that never gave it back not left in a room. 2nd off I recently had to have another hotel ship an actual item back and hotel scheduled everything and sent me an invoice and it was half the cost. I should not have to pay $15 for an ID to be mailed back when it can go in an envelope with a stamp. They are refusing to mail it back unless done through FedEx and creating a business account that can schedule a pickup. Its easier just to get a new ID but thats insane when we know exactly where the ID is.
I booked a room at 2am and was considered a no show when I showed up and they wouldnt take my reservation.i was tired and just wanted to sleep.the front guy was very rude. I showed up and wasnt a no show when it was just booked. Maybe he should find another job if he dont like the one he has.never again will I go there.
The room I got was dusty. There was hair on the bed as well as a dead bug. There was a dirty towel on the back of the door. And I got charged $35 for a wash cloth (the small one) being dyed red (I have red dyed hair and I didnt want to mess up a big towel). The breakfast sucked. All the had was waffles coffee and granola bars.
Very very basic place, we were immediately put off by nasty peeling wallpaper and stained carpet. Our reservation had breakfast included, but theyre apparently not doing breakfast right now. Beds were small and one of them was completely broken on one side so it sagged to the floor. 2 stars instead of one because the sheets were clean and the pool looked nice from a distance (too cold to swim).The front desk agent forgot to give us back our ID after checking in, and then had the phone turned off so we couldnt get in touch when we were out and discovered it missing - frustrating and ruined our first night in Dallas.
EDIT TO POST: (02/25/2023)First the good...The rooms are really nice, big with comfortable beds and a lot of amenities. The front desk staff are nice and polite.Now for the bad...I was charged a refundable $100 deposit and then accidentally double charged for the 4 night room stay which has overdrawn my debit card.The second charge was listed under a different name but the exact same amount of $289.46.After I brought up the double charge for the room the second charge was changed over the weekend to $216.22 with the balance being restored to my debit card over Saturday night February 4 to Sunday the 5th.I talked to the head manager who was rude, snotty and short with me and extremely not understanding.My debit card is now $15.80 in the red and its not even my fault and the head manager explained it can be up to 10 days before I receive the deposit or credit for the rest of the double room charge back which Im very confused about since that partial refund went back overnight.I would have overlooked all the financial hassles and actually stayed there again except for the way that head manager treated me.Nobody needs anyone acting like that and I refuse to spend money anywhere Im treated like Im trespassing and not a paying customer. 🤷🏻♂️EDIT TO POST ON 02/25/2023:This situation went from an understandable mistake to someone playing with the numbers and money exchanging accounts overnight to then once Id checked out them telling me they never double billed me at all.If that werent bad enough I then locked my debit card and on the 8th I think they pre-rebilled my debit card for the $73 and change that had returned over the Saturday night - Sunday morning period for a charge that was actually dated 02/10/2023 well in advance of the date the charge was intended for yet it still went through even with the debit card locked.Its been well past 10 business days and they definitely never returned the double room charge and I seriously dont think they bothered to return my $100.00 Room deposit fee.The credit card company has seen it all including the fact that the day I checked in the double bills were exactly identical amounts and the numbers games playing over that weekend plus the fact that they pre-billed a couple of days early on a locked card and that went through as well.One of the credit card advocates called it Jaw Dropping! Perfect description.Theyve put me $66 and change in the red for February right at the beginning and theres very little I can do besides dispute it and close that account.Ive NEVER stayed anywhere where I was intentionally stolen from especially from my debit card and at the end a locked debit card at that.MY SUGGESTON: STAY AT OYO TOWNHOMES DALLAS AT YOUR OWN RISK.YOUVE BEEN GIVEN AN ACCURATE ACCOUNT OF HOW THEY TREAT THEIR GUESTS HERE... 🤷🏻♂️🦉❤️🩹🕊️🫣
When I arrived theyre systems were down and I couldnt check in(which is understandable because technology isnt always perfect and it was out of their hands). I spoke to the General Manager Tanya and she was very helpful in giving me my refund back with no hassle at all. She was very nice and professional and even though I wasnt able to check in I still plan on booking with them again due to the excellent customer service. Thank you Tanya!
Do not take your kids to this location.they have lights of the night walking day and night right in front of this location.and management might ask you how much are you paying one of them if you walk to store.if you like cheap and nasty roomsThen this is the place for you. My plans is to contact local media let them know this is worse place to stay very unclean and not safe for family. Don’t be fooled by the looks IfYou value your time and rest do not book with them. Firstly I walked in to check in and there was a known junkie working the front desk, secondly after they decided they couldn’t accommodate me due to their incapabilities Expedia tried to call and cancel my reservation that I never checked in to only for them to refuse to answer the phone so they could keep the money, then when he did answer for them the guy who was handling my refund said that the junkie basically cussed him out and hung up on him. Customer Service was poor, My check in took forever the front desk staff was more concerned on what was on his phone instead of the customer standing right in front of him. But, now I know why the General Manager- Karen is rude and very disrespectful, so I don’t expect less from the employees. This lady is so rude and doesn’t deserve to be in customer service.So, I forgot some of my items in the hotel room, I understand it’s my fault and you are not reasonable. But, the general managers are responsible for their staff and the way they treat their customers. I live 5 hrs away,. I called the hotel, I was told to go pick up my stuff, I explain to the gentleman I could not go back, It was late, so I was told to call back in the morning. I called spoke to Devon, he told me they do not ship and not responsible for items left, so my next question was how many days or how long do I have to pick up items he asked me to hold on. I can hear him asking a lady to talk to me as I am the lady that left the items in room un the background I clearly hear her yelling “I’m not gonna talk to her, I’m busy, tell her to come pick up her stuff” shocked I said ok and hung up. So, I call back to get her name and title from Devon and she answered so I find out her name is Karen and she’s the general manager. She told me “I’m the general manager, come get your stuff and hung up” again not even a chance to ask how long do I have a week a month, how long do I have to pick up my stuff. She won’t talk to me.
Rooms are okay. Appearance when walk into the hotel is nice but service is not. We came to stay for a birthday and storm came through and knocked out power over 4 hours ago. They will not give a refund for tonight and say that it is the storms fault.
Booked thru Hopper, checked in a said they could not locate reservation, showed them confirmation and rate, said no problem would give room at the hopper rate and would not and I mean I clarified that my credit card would not be charged being I already paid for the room thru Hopper. Left early the next morning and with 2 hours after I checked out, they charged my credit card, even though I did not give them authorization to do so and was told they would not.Called the next day and spoke to the same guy(whom I assume was the mgr) and was told they were refunding the charge and that they charged the wrong rate based on hopper reservation. He said he would refund bec he remembered talking with me the night before about the issue.Never recvd the refund and was told by Hopper that they said they would not refund?Hotel was loud, disgusting, dirty comforters, and carpeting, holes in walls, mold on shower tiles, gross shower curtains.If I couldve of found another hotel would of moved, thank goodness, had to leave for a flight at 4:30 am, so was only in hotel for 7 hours!! Definitely would not recommend and still waiting for my refund!!
The worst front desk experience. Joshi, receptionist, refused to check me in after I called last night to check in and hold the room until 11am. I paid the room, but she repeatedly said that Hopper booking is a scam, claimed that payment was not received despite a confimation number. She held me over 40 minutes (busy servicing breakfast and slow checking the computer and logs). The manager on duty refused to talk to me (claimed busy).AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!!!
Absolutely disgusting. First, the area is sketchy in general with prostitues walking up and down the streets, which is our of their control. Second, the place is literally deplorable and unsanitary. We booked for 4 nights, and we stayed one and checked out. We only stayed one because we arrived so late after a long drive we didnt have time to look around. When we woke up, there was a mouse in our room. As we looked for the mouse, we found mouse feces in multiple corners, dead bigs hanging from spider webs between the a/c unit and the wall, and the shower had someone elses hair all up it in as if it had not been cleaned. They promised us a refund, and have refused to rectify the situation. Whatever you do, DONT stay here! Its deplorable!
Place is a scam. Booked a room online, showed up the day of my reservation to a locked door with a note saying no rooms available.I tried to get the attention of the security guard sitting inside, but he refused to come to the door and talk to me. After a few minutes of trying to talk to him, he finally came up.Shortly after he came to talk to me, a staff member of the hotel came up and came in real hot. He puffed up and got in my face, and was terribly rude and aggressive.I showed him my reservation after he calmed down slightly. He said every single room is booked and I just need to get my money back from where I booked it. I booked it at a link that the hotel’s official website directed me to.Additionally, earlier in the day I repeatedly tried to call the hotel to let them know that I would be getting there around midnight.I found multiple phone numbers for the hotel- NONE of them worked. The number in the email was dead, the number online rang and then went to a voicemail, and the number on Google just rang and rang until it shut off.Place is terrible and a scam.

We had reservation for 3 nights traveling with 2 kids. flight got delayed and called front desk to tell then we will be arriving middle of the night (1sr night). they said it was not an issue but when we arrived they told us reservation was marked as a NO SHOW and so we dont have a reservation anymore. We had to wait dot 3 hours in the lobby calling booking. com because they were not helping at all in the hotel and did not try to find any other solution. Front desk staff (who said was the supervisor) told me I dont want you and your family in my hotel... I think it had to do with the color.of my skin. Staff is the rudest I have ever seen. DO NOT GO there. I wish I could give a 0 star.
I booked this hotel because it seemed like a nice place. On their description on Expedia it says it’s clean and offers breakfast. Im not sure about the quality of cleanliness. Thankfully, we brought sanitation wipes and wiped everything down. The floors have stains everywhere. Our T.V. Stopped working on the 2nd day. When I called the front desk, the guy talking to the young lady sounded rude. All in all, would not recommend. They don’t have breakfast nor a breakfast bar. Book somewhere else instead.
We booked the room today. We went there at noon. The check-in wasnt open yet. We asked if we could leave our bags. They said the rule doesnt allow them to keep our bags. We said its a bad rule. The answer was:I will show you what a bad rule is...I will cancel your reservation. And he did so.I wish to receive an answer from the management.
Service was extremely poor, when we arrived there were not receptionist or staff anywhere on site. There were a group of people waiting to check in as well. Finally we found a housekeeper to get a hold of management. When it was our turn to check in, they lost our reservations! He claimed he couldn’t find it, even though we had rsvp months ago and paid for the room already. He was not helpful and stated we had to contact who ever we bought the room from. On top of that, he claims he lost everyone’s reservations due to a power outage months ago but we’re able to check in the group ahead of us. Avoid this place! Oh yeah, there are “working girls” walking back and fourth the main entrance. Avoid this dump.
Unprofessional front desk, maybe someone is there and sometimes not. Arguing between maids and front desk. Rooms dated . Holes in walls literally. Burn marks in carpet. Questionable and dirty furniture. Ok for a couple days if on budget. However the way the portray on line is not really what they really look like at all. Ill never stay here again. Not even the washer and dryer! The smallest conveniences are just so hard.
For the most part the facility was good. The gate broke. The carpet and sofa had stains everywhere, had to keep shoes on and put a towel over the sofa. The rain and lightning knocked out the lights so we couldn’t see until we got some candles.Plus no A/c or hot water. I guess they need to replace there transformers on the grid. I’m looking for some sort of Compensation!
Stay Oct8-9 . STAY AWAY. If you can stay anywhere else DO IT! Do not book this hotel (motel). The rooms smelled of mildew and black mold and it’s outdated. The property is unsafe! No one is ever at the front desk to check in or answer any questions or try to fix the situation. The guy Ceaser is unprofessional and rude along with the General Manager.! Ceaser watched as the lobby filled up with people and told us to wait because he was smoking a cigarette and then got defensive when we asked for a refund because of the smell, bed bugs and unprofessional staff.! I repeat DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
Not a place for children , not safe for women to be alone , avoid rooms with carpet , check room before you get comfortable, do not use stairwells at night . Avoid the side of the hotel that’s near the motel. A lot of women on the corners , gates don’t close , pimps in parking lots , security on some days. But when they there they do their job . They always made sure we was good coming and going at night . Avoid manager Karen if you don’t feel like arguing her mouth is smart . Avoid Cameron if you don’t want to fight . His attitude is bad . House keeping is nosey , and watching . BE CAREful . SHORT TERM , NOT long TERM . Used my own pillows and covers and sheets Theirs had stains. And they won’t replace them . They don’t have many towels and rags so bring your own .no real breakfast, nor juice . Just coffee and nasty waffles . And some days they don’t have that .
The staff are lazy and slow.While checking in they claimed I never made a reservation for the day I was checking in. I showed them on my phone that I did and they wanted to charge me more then what I was going to pay. My room was not even ready when I got there and when I was getting frustrated the receptionist started laughing at me. DO NOT stay here. Stay at the motel 6 behind them because they got me into a room in 5 minutes versus the almost 30 minutes I was standing at the desk at OYO.
Came to pick up a friend from out of town and was treated like im a homeless person trying to sneak in to this low class place. i was trying to get something to drink while i waited and was told i have to wait out side !!! soda machines for guest only said AD, the night thug wanna be manage? lol right he got power over the front door because today i dont argue with people - i review their actions ( yes when its great service i applaud then too.ill never stay in an OYO and i travel for a living
I wish I could give 0 stars to this hotel. The sad thing is everything has been going good so far cleanliness etc. But the card key system is really annoying almost everyday I have to get it rescanned bc it doesn’t work. My brother ,who was registered at check in ,went to get help with that issue and the guy “CAMERYN” ,supposedly the supervisor ,was the rudest person and just plain ignorant the way he yelled over the phone. I would have never hired this punk in this type of job setting of hospitality very disappointed I hope he gets fired!It’s not our fault that someone didn’t do their job and put him in the computer system. At the booking we put 3 guest and at check in we had to fill out a paper whit the guest names.
Long story short. I stayed February, booked two rooms. Payed a security deposit we weren’t aware of but there wasn’t a problem with us fulfilling this, it was going to get refunded back to us. When we received our keys to the rooms one smelled like marijuana throughout the WHOLE ROOM. We asked for a different room and they gave us a different room (appreciated it) . Everything was going great, then until they said they dont do breakfast because of COVID (literally one of the reasons why we booked that hotel) Alright no problem, IHOP was right around the corner. Before checking out, we left rooms in perfect condition we even cleaned up after ourselves, made our beds etc. Overall we tried being positive and calm but its been a month now and they have yet not given back our security deposit for both those rooms. Everytime we’d call no one would respond. Two weeks passing someone finally picked up the phone and they told us they would try and fix it and contact us later on and they haven’t yet done anything to resolve the issue. I tried contacting hotels.com where i primarily booked it from and an agent attempted to help me but yet OYO Townhouse fails to respond and give us our money back. Im very disappointed because overall we tried not complaining about our experience on our stay but honestly one of the worst hotels/customer service I’ve ever experienced .
Booked a tripped on 25th Aug to this hotel first time. It used to be a country inn hotel and we had a great experience so thought it should be fine.Looks like the hotel does not like it is customers using “Priceline” mobile app to book their stays.Booked and paid for a king size room for one of our member of staff who is traveling from Houston which is about 4-5 hours drive. At the arrival the hotel lady at the front desk informing the fact that they sold the room which was paid for and asking to contact to Priceline to make any further changes on the booking so she can give him a room.This is a situation which I have been in before but it was always handled so well and I never had to write a 1 star review but at this time, that was not the case for our member of staff who arrived to this hotel at 12:40 am to eventually rest.Arrival time to hotel : 12:40 am Aug 26th ,2020Waiting time for Priceline to contact to hotel to help us out with this problem : 45 mins and that’s because Priceline can not reach to hotel as they are not answering their phone.If you are booking this hotel thru Priceline or any other company please remember you probably go thru the same stressful journey so I would advice you to stay away from this business until they either hire a professional front desk or company policy that is making brand and people working for it so bad.We certainly learnt our lesson. Check google reviews and do not book an hotel under 4 Stars in reviews because there are reasons for it.Update : 08/31/20They Charged cash at the hotel for the new room and I saw they charged my card for no show for the room they sold to someone elseDisputing the charge and staying away from This company for the future
This has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in in a long time. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and did not smell of commercial cleaners. The front desk staff were very friendly and help full. It had gayed secure parking out door pool that was open in January. The front area had great seats and comfortable chairsIssues shower was useless it dribbles out, breakfast was marginal, and our key card had to be renewed daily
I stayed here for a birthday trip, I would honestly say I had so many doubts since the reviews were pretty bad & I had booked before even checking them, but it was such a great stay. The hotel was clean overall everything worked great, & they also offer breakfast. The management isnt the nicest but they get the job done eventually.
DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL!!! This hotel is very disgusting I checked in on 04/02/22 for a single bed bed room. The comforters was nasty. The furniture was torn and burn marks. Stains on the floor as well as the bathroom not being cleaned also had a broken tub stopper. The lights barely work. The room smelled like cigarettes. The second room I requested was worst the second floor hallway smells like cigarettes and barely Andy lights. The outside furniture is torn with burn wholes. They don’t clean the rooms or the grounds. This is a catfish hotel the pictures they show is nothing at all like it was. A knockoff courtyard or something. They to get it together as well as the general public bathrooms have no hand soap or anything.
This place is a no go would not recommend it to anybody especially if you have to deal with the front desk lady (manager) Tanya her customer service is poor and treats guess like they are bums we booked a room had to pay the room plus $100 deposit when we tried to extended to another day they wanted another $100 deposit while calling our booking company Tanya didnt want to hear our issues so she decided to say we needed to leaver her property and did not wish for us to pay the other $100 at no point did we get rude or nasty with her her treatment was very racist is what i call it.. we left and took our business somewhere else.. bad business they need better management..
Absolutely horrible service. Reserved a room, called to notify them I would be checking in late after work as I was working a 14 hr shift,so I didn’t run into any issues. Was told everything would be fine. Get there at 3:30 am to find they were sold out, and had been for days. I asked why I was not informed of this when I had called that afternoon. The guy had the nerve to call me a liar, that I had never called and had no sympathy at all, was extremely rude and went off on me. Called back the next day to try and speak to someone but they would either hang up without answering , or refuse to let me speak to a manager. Thanks for leaving me stranded in the middle of the night, and treating me horrible unjustifiably. Honestly though be careful with this neighborhood my first thoughts driving up was that my car would get broken into, and I probably wasn’t wrong considering the gate , and all the suspicious folks just parked out front at 3:30in the morning .
I am so upset! August 28th i got a deal on Groupon for 4 nights at $282. Today my husband and I flew in from Virginia to watch Cowboys game. I am in wheelchair with MS and do not walk. The lady at front counter said i needed to pay the 4 nights because she had no record of me paying. I showed her my onlinebanking charge and she still wouldnt honor it. I am so devastated right now because we are in no position to pay for another room. I contacted Groupon and unfortunately due to covid they are only chatting, no phonè support so they offered me a refund but told me the hotel charges a 50% of the total bill cancelation fee....what? And the worst part of this is the lady is literally yelling at me and refusing to discuss this any further. I asked to speak to the manager and she replied she is the manager and I needed to leave. She didnt even try to work with us under these circumstances. So now an hour later we found another room that is handicap accessible and ended up having to pay $380 putting it on a credit card....money we dont have. Stress and Multiple Sclerosis do not mix and i can barely move my body i am so upset. This trip was planned back in August and i had paid for everything. My husband and I are now frustrated with each other because we dont have this money. A trip for his 50th birthday and it is starting like this. Sad.
Staff were marginally helpful… room stank like left over cigarettes; peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, stained linens, not enough coffee, someone tried to get in our room, twice… someone working the corner right outside the property. Spend an extra 50-75$ and get something better. Don’t believe the pictures and Expedia reviews. Choose another brand.
Worst experience ever I flew in from Arizona and decided to stay at this hotel because my job recommended it and the first thing that happens is the Wi-Fi didn’t work and room service was not available at all. The lady was really rude and I did not appreciate that at all. The level of service there was the worst and it’s not anyone at the hotel watching it at night time but the security guard that sit in the lobby all night and do nothing. With some non worker sitting at the desk on his phone. This was the worst experience ever! DONT STAY HERE
Only reason they received one star was because I didn’t get bedbugs. They are the WORST hotel I have EVER been to. I travel a lot and this hotels customer service was atrocious, the breakfast was a frozen mini sausage biscuit they hand you to go heat up, the key FOBs for the doors rarely ever worked, we waited 45 mins just go be able to get into a working room when there was no one else waiting. The hotel is dirty, there’s bugs crawling everywhere, the renovations make the inside CONFUSING to find stuff, it’s loud and people are RUDE. i have never been so upset at the service i received at a hotel but this place just kept pushing it. I hate places with no customer service, but this hotel has genuinely no reason it should be open.
The new rooms at the 3er floor are son nice, but one of the girls in front desk is very incompetent to work in front desk , I was 30 minutes in front her waiting for my room keys (with previous online reservation) It is my fourth consecutive month staying at this hotel for work reasons. I travel from Houston to Dallas every month and I have never had problems with check-in but this time, unfortunately, the speech and treatment of the girl at the front desk and the manager was very poor, unprofessional, unintelligible and illogical reason for the delay. Our stay was absolutely awful. Room was dirty. Bathroom had hair all over, tub backed up with water in shower, phone was in pieces, tv hardly worked and it was HOT!! the ac was not working and the worker came in to check it and then didnt get back with us. I hated to leave this review but wanted to tell someone else to save themselves! DONT STAY HERE!
I stayed here in Jan/Feb this year and even my Uber driver warned me of this place. It’s been 5 months and they are STILL charging me. They fraudulently tried to take $160 the first time and now they’re charging me $154 even though I haven’t been there in 5+ months. I don’t even live in the state. Please AVOID this awful place. I have to cancel my credit card. The hotel is awfully nasty—stained carpets, moldy sheets and mattress, stained bathrooms. I can’t stress enough—STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Convenient and very affordable. Some renovations are going on (all corridor carpets have been replaced last week) but there are still improvements to be made. Breakfast is basic and repetitive but is free. Doors can be noisy (over active closers!). Beds are clean and comfortable.
Arrived around 930pm in a Saturday night after booking about 5 days prior. This was after the hotel charged me debit card four hours PRIOR to check in. Yes, you read that correct. I hadnt left home and the card had already been charged. Upon arrival I was told my room was no longer available (booked premium king). Was told water heater went out so someone was moved. I was offered a refund and directions to another hotel but with a tired wife and toddler I did not want to galavant around Dallas searching for accommodations. After 20 minutes at the front desk, and being interrupted three times by other issues the front desk finally produced a key to a double room. I begrudgingly accepted as I was told we are completely booked, this is our only room available. I took the keys and went to the room. Upon entering the hall I was first assaulted by the very telltale signs of cigarette smoke. The halls reek. Thankfully the room wasnt odious. However the room is quite bland. It looks straight from 1993. Save for the flat screen TV if you saw this room on saved by the bell nothing would be out of place. Were not going to stay for breakfast as Im sure we would be disappointed. The only plus is the bed seems somewhat comfortable.I cant say stay away enough. Seriously, look elsewhere for lodgings near Love field. This hotel is only a step above camping. But only a step.
While I’ve enjoyed my stay, even though I was not informed that in order to get fresh towels, I have to put my used towels outside my door and the front desk didn’t offer to give one towel to shower when I asked. So I had to wait a couple of hours for fresh towels. How ridiculous. I know when I come back to Dallas, I won’t be staying here!
Checking was at three didn’t get my room till six. Poorly staffed what is the reason and they didn’t even offer to make anything better just took my money. Will not be booking with them again or referring them to anyone I know. I want. partial payment back
We were planning on staying at this hotel, but we didn’t. Despite the fact that I had already made a reservation, we opted to move away. The hotel says is 100% smoke free. Fact is, Smoke is the first thing you smell as you walk in. There were people staring at us as we were coming in and something didn’t sit well with us. The room they gave us was in the worst possible shape. It looked, smelled and felt like a junkie hangout. There’s a Gentlemen’s Club nearby, and that only attracts a very peculiar clientele. We selected a more family friendly hotel in a different location. Spend $10 or $20 more and get a better Hotel Experience.
If there was a zero star they would get it. The power went out in our hotel room over the weekend and we literally left and paid for another hotel in a different city because it ruined our trip. Their phone has had a busy signal like it’s been off the hook since Sunday probably because they don’t want to give anybody their money back for their stay. Both hotels next door had power it was an issue with that hotel in particular not an overall outage.
Its okay here but everyone cant eat waffles everyday can yall change up the breakfast and last thing if you hire me to clean the carpets your rating should go up its really nice here and yes fix all the ice machines Im a ice eater please fix it...
I visited dallas with my friends on the weekend. I made my booking more than 2 weeks ahead. I reached OYO at around 10pm in the night only to hear that no rooms were available. We had to search different hotels in the city for 2-3hrs to find a room. Since it was a long weekend all hotels were busy. No point in making a reservation when you are not getting a room anyway. Worst service oyo
This place should be closed down!!! The pictures are EXTREMELY deceiving!! That is a complete understatement. I wish I wouldve taken pictures so I can post them everywhere possible. To start when I walked into the lobby it was very poorly lit. The so called front desk receptionists was half asleep leaning her head on the desk. I didnt even see her when until I walked right up to the desk. She didnt even greet me or say anything other than name?. While waiting to finish the check in process another guest was told by this employee of the month that the elevator was broken and they would have to use the stairs to access their room. Her response to them after they showed their unhappiness was less than candid. She showed zero concern or even apologized for the inconvenience to this other guest. Another guest walked up and asked her to speak with the manager and she rudely told him there isnt a night manager and that hell have to call or stop back in the next morning. After I got my room key she didnt even tell me how to get to my room. I had to ask how to get there. I started to walk out to head back to the car and I was met by a guy who you couldnt even tell worked for the place. I didnt know if he was another guest or an employee of the so called hotel. He told me to pull to the gate and use the room key to open it and that our room is on that side of the building. When we pulled through the gate we parked close to the entry door on that side of the building. When we walked in the door we were surprised at the appearance of the hallway. It was also poorly lit and everything was outdated. We knew right away that this was not going to end well. We had room 112 which was the first room across from the door we walked in from the outside. When we opened the door to our room we felt like we were part of the movie Vacancy. If you havent seen it its about a couple that gets murdered in their run down scary looking motel room. The room was connected to a 2nd room and both looked and smelled TERRIBLE!! Extremely outdated. After turning on all the lamps it was still very dark in both rooms compared to the pictures we seen online. I walked up to the curtain to look out the window and found to my surprise a sliding glass door. I was thrown off by the door because it is not pictured in any picture online. What threw me off even more was that not only the door unlocked but slightly open!! That door led outside to a pitch black courtyard where we could hear people out there and they sounded like they were up to no good. I closed it and tried locking it only to find that the locking mechanism was inoperable. After fiddling with it a few minutes I was able to get it to lock. Then my wife (who was already extremely uneasy by the situation thus far) called me into the other room. She showed me that sliding glass door and said it is also slightly open and wont close or lock either. This door couldnt be slid open anymore than 1 inch and when I went to close it it kept binding up like the rollers were broken on the bottom of the door. After fiddling with this door for a few minutes I was able to get it to lock also. I went to put the security slide bar up to prevent the door from being open if it came unlocked and the piece to lock the slide bar in place was broken. This was the final straw. I told my wife we were leaving and finding a different place to stay. She was more than relieved and got our 3 kids ready to leave. When we walked outside back to the car and there were 3 undesirables or should I say criminal looking individuals in the car parked next to our van and they were smoking weed with the windows wide open. We got into our van and pulled around the building to the exit gate. I pulled around to the main entrance again. Walked inside to find the hotels number 1 employee head down on the desk and half asleep again. Told her we just checked into 112 and we are checking out that we arent staying 1 more minute here. I told her to tell the manager they should just close the place and that we are extremely dissatisfied.
Rooms are not updated old and run down the staff is BEYOND rude for no reason. After calling the front desk 4 times to get no answer either time. I walk to the front desk The general manager when I asked if it was ok if I had a late check out told me it was against hotel policy because the hotel isnt fully open IN DALLAS but whatever. SMH I didnt book this place someone did it for me OYO is not the ticket for me worst experience in a hotel in a very long time. I was over charged to be told I didnt pay the VERY NEXT MORNING by the front desk attendant.

I would for about 8 months but your staff says service animals are for just blind, I have every paper no he not emotional support, I stayed in the past no issue. My dog keeps me alive I have 8 months in Dallas you are the most confident to my work but ill find something else its ashamed your staff is racist to disabled
I booked a week at this hotel. The hotel and the room were alright. But the receptionist (I think Chay) was very impolite and completely unprofessional. She almost give you the impression that youre not welcome at the hotel and you need to leave. She has on of the worst attitudes I have ever seen in customer services.
Had very bad experience on check in, once in the room and getting ready to wind down for the night my wife had gone in to take her evening shower and found long black hair on the bath room floor and also in the sink. Neither of us have black hair called front desk to report what we found in the room a representative came to the room and observed what we were concerned about but with no resolution still trying to get our room cost refunded please if you stay at this hotel check everything before you stay the night very disappointed and dissatisfied
Wish google had option to give 0 star, super rude staff, on Expedia it says they provide breakfast but they don’t offer breakfast because of Covid. Charged an extra 160 bucks for no reason, the girl at the front desk had no idea about the extra charge , glad we booked through Expedia so Expedia took care of it and the hotel refunded us.
What a nightmare.I had booked a room Saturday, 10/19, and had even received confirmation of the booking. When I arrived at the hotel to check-in, I was informed that no rooms were available; what a nice surprise. I think I dodged a bullet, though. I noticed quite a lot of working girls around the building and also exiting the building. My suggestion? Bulldoze the place and start over.
You owe me a refund for the damage deposit on a room I never stayed in because I never left the lobby. I have a witness who heard your receptionist tell me thats what I paid for and I have my statement showing I never got my refund back.
Check in was fast and easy ! The maintenance man , Elias, I believe was his name was very helpful and friendly! He also was prompt on resolving issues we had with our T.V. The cleaning service manager, I didn’t get her name but she was spectacular! Room was clean!
Really bad. Room smelled like cigarettes and BO. Stains on the bedding. Staff were largely unhelpful. Someone tried to get into my room twice in the middle of the night. Do not recommend.
The room was spotless. Dont like the $100 deposit or the fact they didnt release it back to me for several days. Dont put the deposit on your card. They say 7-10 business days to get it back and they didnt tell me that until it was already done.
It was private, has a patio to go out on, was clean and had a nice sofa/Living room area. Only problem was no refrigerator...it was missing. Could have used more pillows...only 3 and would have liked a blanket.

We booked this place months ago. Get there for check-in and the worker says they over booked, have no rooms or staff to clean. They left us stranded. So unprofessional and rude. Place looked dusty anyway don’t spend your money
Was an overall good experience..the property was nice, the rooms were HUGE and clean-way better than I expected-, and the staff was awesome and so courteous!! The ONLY concern I had was the people hanging around out front by street when we checked out cuz i had my kids and she was not dressed at all appropriately to be at a family based establishment- a hotel for sure lol- but they didn’t cause us any problems- just required some smooth answers with questions unloading from my kids. To get where the rooms are located there was a secure access gate with code- it was set up like apartments and it explained why the night before at check in cars stalk the gate, but for all the good it does there was a HUGE part of the wood privacy fence in the back that had been broke out, probably to allow visitors to get in as there were constantly someone trying to piggy back thru the door to get in building. There were signs saying visitors not allowed and if ur caught letting someone in you will be asked to leave immediately.. I DONT FEEL IT IS MYRESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP OUT OTHERS RIFF RAFF- I’m not going to confront a stranger and enforce their visitation policy..It was a great hotel and had very nice staff but I my opinion it’s better for younger people that aren’t staying with young kids that won’t ask all kinds of questions that require smooth answers. Super affordable, can pay cash deposit and get back at check out after inspection- but they were already inspecting it on our way to the front so didn’t even have to wait! Didn’t have any issues during our stay!

The employees are very respectful, dependable and dedicated. My stay was also quiet except for the testing of the fire systems. it is in a good location related to the location of stores and food. I would recommend staying there anytime. Also would be willing to stay there again myself.
Nice amenities. Got a great deal and stayed for 2wks . However. I was overcharged and STILL waiting for my refund. Its been 2wks and finally decided to call my bank to dispute this refundable charge.

No one at desk when signing waited over 10 minutes ,dirty rugs ,trash can area needs power washing some nasty dirty stuff down on ground ,no coffee placed old bananas for breakfast coffee machine broken rest week left stuff in fridge they didnt have the decency to call and let us know to make accommodations to pick up i called front desk for over two hours none ever answered When it was Country inn it was a great place to stay but now its a broken down palace we were so disappointed this time we will never stay here again OYO HOTELS is not a good hotel for accommodations or at least not this one .
Dont book they are always sold out and will not walk you to another hotel. They never close out their inventory and always over book. The manager is rude they have the door locked saying they are overbooked. They wont even let you in the building. This is the third time Ive had this issue with OYO. Worst brand ever.
I had booked this hotel to stay March 13. Before I arrived as I was driving to the hotel from my flight, I received a call at 1030pm that they had overbooked and had to change where I was staying. I was told a first location, then that had to be changed to another location. Finally location they put me had, which was another OYO hotel, the room had cockroaches. I refused to stay there and paid out of pocket to stay somewhere else

Trash of a place. I canceled my booking one month in advance and according to their website this cancellation is free of charge. But this place still charged me a cancellation fee. Called them to clarify but they are rude and dismissive. Don’t stay here.

So I booked the room for tonight which was a king room that has a couch in it that actually pulls out into bed I have stayed at this hotel last month with my family which includes three family members so as I go to check in today first of all I try to hand the lady at the front desk my ID she doesnt take it so I sit it down then she asked me do I have reservation which I thought was very silly because thats the point of me handing my ID then when she look at my reservation she tells me the room that I have is not for three people please tell me how king size bed and a couch that pulls out is not suitable for three people therefore I am having an issue with trying to cancel my reservation because it goes through a third party she has no answers for me she wont give me Management number or anything she just tell me I need to call them back no type of accommodations I thought this was so unfair and crazy all around the board

I felt really cozy and comfortable. The night tome staff was incredible. I have a muscle disease it entails not sleeping and needing ice all night sometimes, they were super accomodating. Made me feel as if i could be just an average joe again. I love a place that makes me feel warm and gooey, not to mention SAFETY FIRST. THERE ARE SEVURITY ON PROPERTY 24/7! I WILL BE BACK MY ELITE TEAM MEMBERS. TILL NEXT TIME, Stay snug, , SINCERELY, SYDNEY SUE.
This place is terrible. We booked a room online, only to be told there were no rooms available when we tried to check in. There was no prior warning. The environment was gross and the staff were not at all helpful in trying to find another place.

Used to be a great business motel. Theyve cut back on breakfast and other amenities. And now the clientele is different...lot of pot smoke...noisy people. Used to use it a lot, but I wont be going back.
Clean and quiet. But for the room to be non-smoking, the hallways smell strong of the ganja. But Im not complaining cause it smells good!

They are NOT pet friendly. They only accept service dogs, which is required by law. To say pet friendly is wrong. Save yourself the headache if you have a pet and book Motel 6 around the corner. Animals (2 max) stay free.

I hear a lot of people in here complaining about nitpicky things I stay at alot pf bwhile hotels a lot of places ..Ive said a lot of oyos et me say this is probably the nicest well put together friendly staff..Ive ever been in the rooms look amazing finally for a change I had a hotel room with a TV that was a decent size so I can see the screen when I was in bed and the staff was completely courteous and willing to help me with anything the entire time I was there even nice enough to accommodate me with an extra table with work stuff I had to do in my room if you have to stay in Dallas and you need to save money already been no place else but the yo by Dallas Love Field the staff Residence Inn our place is definitely for size

I was denied another room to stay in after I advised front desk the toilet was flooding in the room I was in. Front desk said there was nothing they could do until the morning when maintenance arrived.Do not reccomend.

I stayed here for 5 days and i called for room service every day and they never came to bring me clean towels or change the sheets.
Decent hotel, staff was fine, room had light smoke smell, no washcloths..for 60bucks it was fine for a night stay.

Im sitting here watching as a lot of water is leaking through the roof and out by the lights, microwave and fridge. They are doing nothing about it this is crazy!!! It could start a fire and its not a priority?
