We stopped in for a quick drink. The bartender was very friendly and made excellent drinks! We highly enjoyed the fresh pepper in the Spicy Guava Margarita. The La Mera Pera is truly a smoky and savory drink with a super delightful vanilla honey foam.

Love the vibes!! The mariachi was the cherry on top!! Definitely coming back. Hidden gems Dallas peeps!!! Lilly was an awesome waiter and jaime awesome manager

Went on a late Saturday afternoon for brunch & they had a beautiful mariachi playing. I sat at the bar & had the best bartender, Zaine! Her drinks are delicious! If she is working, ask her for her signature drink. It is so good!! She provided excellent service from beginning to end. I will definitely be going back.

Los huevos divorciados were flavorless , it was more like food coloring no taste at all, las carnitas en salsa verde were flavorless and very salty. The black beans are good the rise is just simple greasy rice , the ceviche was good but not delicious. The best thing were the Aguachiles they were Delicious they saved the day! The Mariachi Band is Awesome!! Almost forgot the queso with Pastor wasn’t good either. The pastor was just simple dry meat with some color.

We had a fantastic time here last weekend for cocktails. We did not try the food, but the complimentary chips and salsa were great. The cocktails were all well made and balanced, and the bartender was very friendly and engaging. We will definitely return when we are back in town!

Have visited twice now. Once for a Selena tribute and just a pop-in visit. Food is delicious! Highly recommend!

Went here after finding other reviews about the Christmas 🎄 theme. Its small but comfy. Food was very good. Atmosphere also pleasant and entertainment by mariachi group was excellent. Definitely going back.😊

Another update to my review!Today I got the BEC (bacon egg and cheese) tacos. OMGGG they were so flavorful and even come with refried beans, I got mine on the side. The green salads compliment the tacos so well and the tacos are a great portion. I’d definitely order them again.I ate here today after work. Luckily I went on a Thursday when they also have drink and appetizer specials!I had queso, Rosa Rita, a PicaRita, and Quesabirria tacos 😋!queso- 9.5/ 10, very flavorful, consistency was the only key thing I’d change.Rosa Rita- a nice change from a regular house margarita. Had a touch of hidden sweetness that I liked.PicaRita- if you like spicy yet subtly sweet margaritas, I’d definitely recommend this! Sooo goodQuesabirria tacos- 10/10 I’ve had these in other places but these are very flavorful, the onions and cilantro are also a really nice additions to the flavors, and the rice and beans weren’t just there for show. They were also sooo good and complimented the meal.

Overall decent experience. Very unique and eye-catching atmosphere. Food was warm at best, tortillas were cold when they arrived at the table, and the staff left more to be desired. Drinks were very unique and great! Unfortunately, overall, fell short of expectations.

We tried Yellow Rosa after seeing an Instagram reel showing they have snow during a small window in the winter time. The snow was meh cuz we were in the back corner, the snow machine wasnt strong enough to blow all the way there lol However, I cant wait to come back here with my in laws who are from Mexico! The food, the atmosphere, the mariachi, the staff ... such a great experience! The best dish was the Guisa. My husband, who is very picky, said it was pretty authentic and enjoyed the meal. The place was a little hard to find since theres no marking besides the Yellow Rose on the sidewalk. Paid parking close by was nice.

My daughter and I took my grandson specifically at Christmas time so he could enjoy the snow release and they did not disappoint!!! Ordered a mocktail and it was made with liquor. Food is not memorable but the foam snow for my four year old grandson was priceless

My friend and I visited Yellow Rosa to see the snow. We were fortunate enough to get bar seats (MAKE RESERVATIONS if you want to eat) and enjoyed several cocktails.The bartenders were fantastic- very attentive and enthusiastic. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the food is mediocre. If you need to eat you can eat here, but there are far better taquerias in Dallas.

I saw this place on Instagram. They advertised Christmas decor, cocktails and snow every 30minutes. I had to try it out so I took my family. We had a great time. I would recommend making a reservation and if you can, sit in the main dining area.

We had the most amazing time here. We were greeted upon our arrival with smiling faces and made to feel welcomed the whole time. Everything was perfect, the service, atmosphere and the drinks were beyond our expectations. Highly recommend.

First time to visit. Definitely make sure you have reservation and you only have 1hr and 45min to stay and then you need to leave. The food was ok. You can have tacos or main entrees. The chips and salsa are ok while you wait. During Christmas it will snow in the resturant ever 30 min.Parking is always hard in Deep Elm so make sure you add that time before your reservation.

10/10!!! This is my new fave Mexican spot! Look for the yellow rose on the sidewalk to unlock the best Mexican food and craft cocktails! The owner, Joel, was amazing. He greeted us and gave us great suggestions for ordering. We were there right when brunch was ending but he still allowed my friends to order brunch. The atmosphere was top notch and I loved the ambiance. The decor was so beautiful! I had the steak fajitas and an asada taco and everything was amazing.

1st time here. Went on a Saturday/brunch time when live musicians are there. (Reservations are recommended) Since it’s December they had fake snow for the holiday’s. The atmosphere really makes this place and it’s a fun place to go with friends/family. I will mention the space is small so it maybe really tight.

Loved the music and the vibe. Christmas decor on point and the fake snow was really cool. I visited this restaurant on a Sunday for brunch and let e tell you their brunch menu is not the best unfortunately. Love the mariachi I honestly thought mariachi was part of the actual restaurant but no you have to pay separately for songs which I mean I was not expecting.

Hands down the best place to enjoy Sunday brunch. Staff is great, the manager is super nice and attentive. The food was delicious, it had great flavor to it. The mojitos and mimosas were delicious!! We came to celebrate a birthday and it was just a fun time here. I definitely recommend !! Mariachis are the best part of the atmosphere!

Let me say I do not order fruity frozen drinks but my friend had the mango frozen Margherita and it was amazing! I would actually order that myself! Highly recommend their frozen Margheritas! Juan was our server and did a great job. He was friendly and very informative. I ordered the guiso breakfast and my friend had the chilequilles (I know I spelled that wrong). Both were very tasty and good size servings. Chips and salsa were good but salsa was better. Ordered the conchas dessert with creme and fruit. Never had it before. It was pretty good. I like how they like grilled the bread to give it a little crisp at least I think thats what they did. Lol. The only thing I didnt like was that they automatically put 18% gratuity no matter how small the party size. They added it and it was just me. I tip more than that usually for great service but to add it for me seems pretentious. Did not like that but Im old school. Anyways fun place, great food and drink, and I highly recommend!

What a unique place! The decor and space are so interesting and staff was so friendly and fun! I was with a group of 15 people and the staff was so great. They had our drinks and food all coming out quickly and correctly. Food was all delicious. Prices were great too. And they even had a Loteria (Mexican bingo) at one part for fun and handed out cards for people that wanted to play (for tequila prizes). It was a really fun night and I would definitely recommend :)

I love this place. Sat and sundays they have mariachi. Jose and Angel were so kind and friendly. You have to visit this place... I recommend the chilaquiles and the ranch tacos. The watermelon 🍉 drink is amazing.

Sundays here are AMAZING, Mariachi Magnifico is performing and they put on a great show. Their brunch menu has a lot to choose from and good deals on $10 drinks. The ambiance is great with live music and the decor is nice too, feels like escaping to a different world. Look for the yellow rose outside.

This was a pretty cool place. I went here with my team of 15. Service was fast and friendly. They started us with unlimited tortilla chips and salsa (salsa was so tasty and spicy). Being Thursday it was also five dollar margaritas. We played several rounds of Loteria, which is Mexican bingo. This was really really fun for ourteam.I chose the shrimp tacos with corn tortillas as my main, and it did not disappoint.

Absolutely the best experience we ever experienced. My first time out after having my 8th month old and it was definitely a Mother’s Day to remember. The mariachi was absolutely amazing the food was a 10/10 and the service was outstanding. Jamie was amazing for checking with us and making this place a memory ! This place is unassuming on the outside and mesmerizing on the inside! The food was so good, and the drinks made me do a happy dance. I enjoyed the songers. They will sing a song at your table for a fee. Be advised that 18% gratuity is included in your tab. That wasnt an is because Oscar, our server was kind and attentive; well deserved. I highly recommend and will be back for Loteria on Thursdays.

I celebrated my graduation at Yellow Rosa. The food is delicious, service is excellent, y el ambiente está al 100%. Great place to hang out with friends. Lotería nights are a must.

I had a great brunch experience. The food was delicious, the service from Melanie was beyond was excellent, and the atmosphere with the live mariachi was the cherry on the cake!

Jaime (manager) and Mayely (our waitress) took great care of us! We unfortunately waited about 30-45 mins for our reserved table because two ladies were being very inconsiderate and did not want to leave the table after being there for about 2-3 hrs. But they gave us 2 rounds of free shots for waiting! We honestly did not mind waiting for our table because the atmosphere was very lively. Food was great. 10/10 would come back when Jaime and Mayely are working a shift :)

Its a cute idea, but it doesnt live up to the hype. I see now theres a reason why most of their pics are of the vibe and not the food. Go for the atmosphere/selfies, but plan to eat/drink somewhere else. We came for date night. I had Suizas Enchiladas that were so cold the cheese was congealed. The elote was canned corn, no seasoning and was also served cold. I hate sending food back but I couldnt take it on the elote. Once they reheated it, it tasted better but its still not a real elote...IYKYK. The rice (caviar) was mushy, not like the Mexican rice youd get from anywhere eles. It seemed like they added too much water or let it cook too long 😔. My husband did enjoy his shrimp tacos though. He said they were really flavorful.Moving on, the drinks were water... literally! We had 2 shots of Patrón that went down like water...no burn, no tingle...nothing. It was a water shot with salt and lime 🤦🏾‍♀️. The margaritas are served in tall skinny glasses filled with lots of ice so you get 3 sips if you sip slow and let the ice melt. Long story short...I need to stop going to places that I see on TikTok or IG...the post are always better than my actual experience.It doesnt snow in the whole restaurant, just by the 360 photo thing and the snow was so minimal you can barely see it in the photos 🤦🏾‍♀️. I posted a video so you can see for yourself.There are other similarly priced spots in Deep Ellum with a great vibe, IG worthy and better tasting food. Happy hunting.

For the first time going to this restaurant, they had a mariachi band for Sunday Funday. Their drink specials are great, too. The food is fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place to take a date or just a group of friends for Sunday brunch

I recently visited Yellow Rosa Christmas-themed restaurant/bar that transported me to a holiday cheer. The festive ambiance, delectable cuisine, and attentive staff created an unforgettable experience.🍸 For drinks I recommend las mañanitas and coke with champagne.We had the chance to meet the owner Joel and he made the experience even better. 12/10 recommended this place

The mariachi was amazing and the food/drinks were good but I was with a big party and when paying the total came out for me too high. I requested a paper receipt to look over and never got it. I did the math and our tab was $10 overcharged. Very dissapointed.

Visited on a Friday night around 7:45pm. The decor is really pretty. The food is decent and drinks are ok. What I would say keeps me from giving it a higher rating is the fact that the snow machine kept going off every 15 minutes and covered my food and the entire table with this foamy mixture. I dont think thats something safe to be in my food. Overall, it was a decent experience, probably will not visit again.

My friend and I visited this place yesterday and it was a very nice vibe. The entrance is a little confusing, it’s the metal door that says “private”. Apparently you need a reservation but since it was early, we were able to get a table. Loved the neon signs and the decoration all around. The food was really good, we ordered asada, pastor and shrimp tacos. We went on Thursday because of the $5 frozen margaritas. Definitely coming back to experience it again.

Had a fun time, very lovely atmosphere. The people and service was wonderful and friendly. The chilaquiles I recommend with the sunny side up egg. The watermelon margarita is very tasty too. Ive already made another reservation, so make sure you get there early because the crowd is coming and its lovely.

If you like getting scammed you should totally come drink here!!! A double shot of deep eddys vodka in sprite cost me $27. Twenty seven dollars!!!! Just for price reference, an entire liter of deep eddys costs 22$ at the store. The only positive to this place was the very friendly bouncer. I hope he achieves all his hopes and dreams. As for whoever decided the drink prices... I can not say I have the same hopes for you.

Went for an after work drink and quick bite to eat. Must say the place is very pretty and the staff is very nice. The DOWNFALL is the AUTOMATIC 20% they add to each ticket with no warning. I’m a very good tipper, but don’t like paying for service that could be bad or being told how much of my own money I should spend. I got the fish tacos and they were OK. Won’t be back but if you’re looking for picture worthy it’s super cute.

The whole menu looked great.My party of 5 tried like, 8 different drinks and the frozen Paloma, cool as a cucumber and the espresso martini esque options were delicious. The el Tigre looks super cool, so it’s a good Instagram option.All in all - great Mexican restaurant, way more mex than Tex. Would 10/10 come back and try everything on the menu.The chips and salsas were bomb and that’s how you know it’s good.

Best experience for brunch !!! The food was amazing 10/10 chilaquiles rojos. As well amazing service my server Lily was on top of everything and made sure we had all of our food and drinks correctly. Also seen one bartender making all of the drinks even when it was busy 10/10 to her !! 10/10 will be back again.

This place is overrated! The service was horrible, our server was extremely rude and unprofessional. I went here to experience the snow shoot for the kids. We didn’t even get to see it. They don’t have no kids menu or high chairs. The place was also not very clean. The food was okay 4/10. Plus you have to pay parking. Definitely would not recommend.

Came here on a saturday night bar hopping, soon as we entered we got drinks, whole place was basically empty, one of our friends spilled some of his drink on the floor accidentally, some wannabe security “D” (if that’s even his real name that’s just what they told me) was immediately hostile and threatening to kick my friend out??? over a tiny bit of spilled drink on the floor??? whatever we ignored it. a few minutes later that same friend came out the bathroom and that’s when things took a turn, he started yelling in our faces telling us to get out, we tried asking what we did wrong because we were all confused, he had just came out the bathroom, we hadn’t done anything? he kept flashing his light and yelling at us, i truly believe the “security” was on one that night, he was extremely aggressive and on some type of power trip. we immediately went outside because why would we want to stay somewhere we were just treated so poorly at? as we left i believe the owner or some type of boss/manager came out and said “are you guys buying” i said alcohol??? we’ve been buying since we got here, he said “okay come back in” what??? we told him absolutely not after we were just treated, and left. the place is damn near empty and you’re kicking people out for no reason?? never again.

Wanted to try this place due to Insta posts. Its the Instagram vs Reality you see. Downtown Dallas on Commerce location. Service is great! Salsa, green/red, guacamole and chips flavorful. Had a drink called IV Therapy of bubbles and Orange Pedialyte, with slice of Orange as garnish. Chicken Verde Pozole had good flavor, and a bite.Food good. Restaurant just needs to be cleaned. Womens restroom chandelier was dust covered. Lots of decor to collect dust, but not hard to find a way to remove some. Chair pads could also use a refresh or replace. Not expensive to update, or clean.

Food was cold, person that brought our plates out was just with an attitude. Mariachis were very good even though they never came to our table. For the $400+ that we paid and for it being our first time here i really expected more from this place.

The restaurant is very pretty. I love the design and the live music tho I wish the music wasnt so loud so you can enjoy a conversation with other guest. The food was very underwhelming, and very little seasoning however the pinky promise cocktail was really good so give it a shot if you decide to go.

Staff are very friendly. Manny tends the bar and is shown on the photos. Valentino is also shown and he is a mobile barber.Great experience, they have great nonalcoholic beverages.

Staff was so great, live music on Saturday for brunch was nice and I had delicious guiso breakfast plate. Great portion and such good prices on cocktails and food for what you receive. The ambience is delightful and the service was perfect.Why only 3 stars?Live Mariachis.The place is way too small for this.We met with friends for brunch (yeah I know), and we could absolutely not have a conversation while they were playing. It got to be a joke where wed be mid sentence, theyd start up, and then wed roll our eyes and shrug.The band is amazing, and the singer is beyond talented, but given that its live music with horns 5 feet away from you whenever they play youre just not going to be talking.

I wish I could upload videos to show how much fun my friends and I had. The staff are so nice and friendly. Dancing, laughing, having a good time. Cumbia brunch Saturdays at Yellow Rosa HIT. Chilaquiles verdes with chorizo were very tasty. I got the “Bling Bling” drink. VERY good if you like spice and pineapples. It’s a beautiful space. The coffee is actually café de olla. SO GOOD. You can smell the piloncilllo. 🤍 Definitely coming back. Maybe at night to see how the vibes are then. I’m sure it’s a fun time. They do add gratuity on the bill depending on the size of the party and you can add more if you wish.

I was there this weekend for my bachelorette party, and they were the best stop!!! I want to shout out Fresh! He noticed our group in line and took care of us the whole night. He went above and beyond to make me and my group feel special by checking on us throughout the night and hyping us up too! Above and beyond service. Great for a birthday or bachelorette too!

Cool vibe, and we enjoyed our food and drinks. Get the elotes and al pastor taco. Wish they had more agave cocktails, though, given their branding as a hip Mexican bar. A mezcal soda was honestly the best drink we got - hopefully they work on improving their cocktails.

Amazingly cute and Qwaint! Nestled in the hustle and bustle of depot them, and you wouldn’t even know it was there, unless you were specifically looking for it. The food for brunch was spot on, and the music from the guitarist was impeccable! The rooftop is retractable to ensure for a sunny day, or to keep you warm and dry on a cold, or rainy day!Make sure to make reservations as it is absolutely difficult to come in and enjoy the vibe as a walk in!

The concept is a good idea. But overall the food is very bad with no taste. The best part of my plate was the waffles after I added the syrup. The Christmas drink I had called the “Ralphie” tasted like straight fireball. My chicken tenders was dry with no taste. The gravy had an odd taste that didn’t convince me to keep eating. Don’t sit in the middle during December unless you want the fake snow falling on you every 10 mins. After eating here I came to basic tacos next door and they had better tasting food for a cheaper price. (Basic Taco is owned by them as well apparently)I would recommend also changing the dead flowers that are in the flower beds. Thanks for letting me now they’re real, but doesn’t give a good impression when I’m sitting at a table and staring at some dead ones.

Loved this place so much!! Cutest little place for drinks with friends that is not over crowded, great staff and amazing drink menu!. And the dj at night is sooo good. Not your typical music or same crowd you see in dallas all the time. Open air ceiling is great. Feels like im in partying in mexico again with the music and vibe.. And the instagram pic ops are there for sure!hope is stays cute and intimate like this always.. Will continue to visit often.

I found out about this place on Instagram and I ended up taking my entire family there for brunch. Parking was kind of difficult to find but man was the food and drinks good, the ambiance was dope as well!

The winter wonderland themed decorations were very beautiful. Izzy (sp?) was a great waiter and his recommendations were on point! I cannot even remember what I had but it was phenomenal.

The place was beautiful. The service was subpar and the food was just okay. I went for a late dinner and after a certain time it turns into a club. The club was fun and I had a good time dancing to the music. There is a lot of photo ops.

I went Sunday for my Birthday for Brunch and it was Amazing the atmosphere and the service was great the guy that runs the place. Went out and beyond to acomódate us, since we had a glitch in our reservation, I truly appreciate his help! I recommend this place specifically because the Mariachis were the best I ever heard and loved the played anything we requested!

I just moved back into town, and I couldn’t be more excited to taste all the rich flavors Im always welcome to experience whenever Im here. Excellent service and the atmosphere is fantastic! Today they have loteria. I couldnt be on time, but I will be next time! The shrimp tacos were beyond amazing.

Very colorful! They had mariachis during brunch. We sat by the bar and got to see a verity of drinks being made. We orded the elote michelada. Definitely want to go back and try more drinks and food!

Love this place! Atmosphere is so cool. I walked through the door and it felt like I was in a hillside cafe outside Mexico City. Great food too as it’s same chef as Basic Taco next door.

For places like this, youre typically going for the experience and while the Christmas setup and decor were nice and cute, the rest of the experience was underwhelming to say the least. Sure youd expect to cough up $15+ for their signature cocktails especially being in Deep Ellum but youd also expect them to at least taste good or halfway decent and not like cough medicine. So word of advice if youre drinking here, keep it simple with a beer or tequila shots, youll still wait half an hour for your drinks but at least they wont taste as bad as the Elfie or Santas Nightcap. I cant say much about the food, as the servers completely forgot about us even with a dinner reservation, so we were asked to leave our table for them to make room for the main dance floor before getting our checks which we never received as well, they just swiped and never returned which seemed to be the theme for the night. Overall its a good place to stop by and take pictures for social media but save some money and especially time by planning on going elsewhere for food and/or drinks.

Nice place with good ambiance. Went during Christmas season so they were spraying snow every so often, which was a nice touch (but kinda annoying since i had to cover the food and drinks each time). Food was decent but nothing special, same with drinks. Really sucks they add 18% gratuity for no apparent reason then still have option for tip when asking for the bill.

This is one of the worst places in Deep Ellum. Theyre trying to kick people out by 10pm. They double charge for subpar drinks, and the food is mid at best while they try to shove you out the door 4 hours before they close

Honestly, if you want a brunch with an experience come to Yellow Rosa. My partner and I were craving some Mexican breakfast and so we decided to go to Yellow Rosa. Came to find out they had MARIACHI during brunch! It was a blast! Plus the food, exquisite. Oh, and if you get to have Zanie as a bartender - she got you on the good drinks.

This place is tucked away I never known it was there had I not been invited! Super cute spot with a live mariachi band that played when we went for Sunday brunch. I que there’d ever mimosa carafes and chicken and waffles. Not the best but not the worst! Overall great experience!

The place is nice and cute. My friend made a reservation, but weren’t allowed to seat in the table of two supposedly it was already reserved, but we were there for 2 hours and no one took the table. Food is good, but if you’re stating in your menu that the plate comes with handmade tortillas, but give non handmade tortillas then you should definitely change it in the menu. Don’t get me wrong the guiso that i order was good. The server was okay just all over the place. The only thing that we really enjoyed was the singer Carlos Ramos.

Enough time has passed since my family and I visited Yellow Rosa in Dallas Tx, that I can tell you about our experience and not feel like such a loser for going.This place is the epitome of what a “fake, made for social medial experiences restaurant” would look like. Let’s go through some facts. I saw this place on the page of what I now believe probably be a paid TikTok food reviewer. There’s no way anyone with a single taste bud would recommend this place to their page followers.So the family and I went thinking it would be fun. This place is a “pop-up restaurant” so I figured the kitchen would want to serve great food since they won’t be opened year round. WRONG!!! The beans were straight out of a can, unseasoned and nasty. The guacamole smelled like my old locker room back in 8th grade. The meat was nothing but just some overcooked tough rubber chunks that really tested the strength of my new root canal cap.My wife did say their chicken and waffles were OK but she barely touched them. Me thinks she was just trying to be polite. The bread for the avocado toast was probably from Dollar Tree due to it being so thin. I’ve never been happier to know that a restaurant is only temporary. This place should be avoided like your Ex when they text you at midnight asking “you awake?”You may be asking yourself why I’m not heavily mentioning the hair in my food or the spider in my kiddo’s food. Yes those are massive infractions but this place is just a massive infraction to the restaurant ecosystem. All you need to know is that to make it look like snow, they blow tiny soap bubbles at you which then land in your food and drinks.Oh and yeah, that was $180 with an automatically added 22% tip. 👀I’ve never wanted an entire restaurant staff to bump their knee or step on a Lego as much as I do for everyone who works there.

I went after the restaurant closed so I cant speak on the food or service but the atmosphere and the ambiance was great. I love their decor and their rustic restroom. If you go, look up, take in the ceiling and the walls and the lights. I thought it was great.

Really loved the place and everything about it well almost. When we arrived they told us our reservation was for an hour and 45 minutes which our reservation never said that but oh well, who spends more than 2 hours?? Well after having live music and good food and great drinks and oh spending hundreds of dollars, not an exaggeration, the hostess tell us okay you have 15 minutes any last drinks? We were in shock as if they were kicking us out and we left right away after she said that. Its not like we were just sitting there we kept ordering and ordering to each their own. Place was great. The vibes were great. The music was great. The theme was great, made me feel like I was in a little town in Mexico. This place was overall great. I just didnt give it five stars cause it was kind of hot as the more full the place got. Another reason to follow up on that was lack of parking and their cocktail menu that they have online wasnt for sale. At the time that I got there which was 9:30pm when the club scene took over.Other than that the place was great.

We come from Arkansas and we absolutely love this place. We love the atmosphere. Our waitress Lili was so friendly and Jaime was great.

I like what theyve done with the space- it was very lit up with lots of tiny lights and Christmas decor. But underneath all of that, it was a bit small and a very packed place. The chairs and tables were very ordinary and bate. The artificial snow looked nice but its quite hyped up by online visuals and influencers I felt. Its some kind of a light soap foam I think, but Im not sure Id appreciate that falling in my food. We (my 5 friends and I) were seated away from the line of snow thankfully but had a great view when it fell. But the disappointing part was indeed the food. 6 of us ordered 6 different items, and none of us liked ours. I have had far better Mexican food from other places. The portion sizes are good, but the taste, negligent. I expected the place to have better food based on reviews, but it utterly disappointed. We ordered chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, chicken quesadilla, mushroom chimichanga and 2 other items I cannot recollect. None of us were happy and we pretty much wasted all of it. Service was just very regular, nothing special or fancy or impressive that justified their mandatory 18% gratuity. I dont think Id visit again, but its probably okay to go for a one-time visit. It is definitely super hyped-up.

It was my first visit to this place, and it turned out to be quite disappointing. I requested a mocktail in a festive glass, but the server brought one in a festive cup for my friend instead. Afterward, I eventually received the cup I requested. Following that, when we ordered our food, I asked for birria tacos but received regular tacos. Upon pointing out the obvious difference (as depicted in the pictures), the server insisted that this was how their tacos were served, despite the disparity in appearance. I expressed my dissatisfaction, but instead of offering a replacement, he simply took the plate away. Consequently, I ended up sitting for 30 minutes while my friend ate, as the server avoided our table. The only enjoyable experience were the Christmas lights.Edit: the manager offered to bring me a new meal but we were getting ready to leave. He brought us shots.

Very flavorful tacos and drinks. Its also beautifully decorated. Caught our eye on the way to a different place. Very happy to have eaten there.

A good time was had by all. We had a brunch birthday party and everyone enjoyed the food. The snow was great! I look forward to returning to see the Valentines theme.

Beyond the best experience , my best friends and I came to try something new. The whole staff is extremely nice , always made sure we were okay at all times . We booked out reservation before hand and everything went smoothly, food is great along with the drinks. Jaime made sure we were taken care of. I definitely recommend for anyone to stop by.

Rudy was worst waiter in the history of wait staff. He forgot the queso, he forgot napkins and plates for the appetizers. I had to go up to the bar and get them myself, which is when I saw our Waite Rudy sitting in the bar on his phone. We made eye contact, and he still didn’t get up to see what I needed They automatically charge 18% gratuity to EVERYONE so there is no incentive for the the waiter to do his job. We had a reservation tomorrow for a large group of people but I cancelled it because i would never give them more business. Horrible experience. Get rid of Rudy.

I cannot recommend this place at all - at least for dining. We came in an ate here for my sisters early birthday on Sunday, where brunch was promised, with the experience of snow and mariachi performances. On paper, this sounds great - in reality, it is a horrible mix that DOES NOT pair well with the poor quality of food and service.First, their snow machine sprays the entire premise with what looks like soapy bubble clusters that get all over you, your food, and your drinks. I dont know what they use in that machine, but I dont know if its safe to be consuming and it definitely didnt taste safe, LOLSecond, the mariachis they bring in DO perform well (kudos to the performers), but the restaurant is so small and packed that the music is unbearably loud, so you cannot hear yourself think or have a conversation without yelling. And theyre supposedly there for 4 hours straight! Insane, in my opinion.LAST - the food we all got was terrible. I personally ordered the huevos divorciados, which is two eggs, served with salsa and beans. I asked for my eggs to be cooked over-medium, and they brought the plate and the egg whites were still raw. YES - the egg WHITES. Gross. They couldnt tell me it could be corrected quickly, so I just didnt eat.Plus, they brought my dish like 15 minutes after everyone elses. They also got orders wrong from all around the table (It was 8 of us, which is a large party, technically, but not THAT large).I will not be coming back and I dont recommend anybody else stops in either. Maybe as a dance club theyre great, but as a restaurant - eat literally anywhere else in Deep Ellum. Youll be better off.

The Gringa de Trompo is to die for. A flour tortilla with cheese, Pork al pastor, Cilantro, Onions, grilled Pineapple side of creamy avocado sauce, and morita sauce … IT WAS FIRE!!The service we received from Christian (the best bartender in Dallas AREA) and Jaime (Boss) was terrific, and we will be back again. They made us feel welcome and gave us a fantastic experience. This place is excellent! The atmosphere is chill and relaxed, but the staff is also amiable. They know what they’re doing and talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. After 11 PM, it turns into a fantastic club experience. A must-try if you’re in the Dallas Area!!

Food and atmosphere where great. We were served by Christian at the bar and he was very attentive to us. I had the quesadilla and the sauce was great and my girlfriend had the sour cream enchiladas which she said were exceptional.

I never write reviews but this place could do better. I really wanted to love this place but it took 20 mins for us to get water and then another 15 mins for waitress to come back with our drinks. Then another 20 mins for our food order to be taken. Her excuse was that we should’ve “waved her down”. That’s not our job to get you to come to a table you should’ve been checking on in the first place. Then they tried overcharging us for things we didn’t even order. So make sure you check the device they take the orders on because they will try and over charge you. Plus they automatically put a 18% gratuity tip on the bill per person. And the so called “snow” doesn’t come every 30 mins. It’s more like once every 2 hours and it’s a very small amount so don’t get your hopes up.

This place is not like tiktok say :/ the snow is only in one area of restaurant :/ they dont have the drink i ask and then ask for another and the same no luck in drinks :/ only one cup of water :/ and the wait had to hurry us up to order due to kitchen closed at 10 !!! and then we ask no onion and the food was full with onion :/. then the taco was 15 i got one cup of water and got charge for 27 due to 18% of tip is already add to your reciets :/ but i would understand if one person tip but this waiter charge all 3 of us 18% of tip :/. they the manager try to be nice offer us tequilla but it was like we pay for it due to high tip !!!! this place need alot help on service the customer right :/ since we was in rush to finish so at night it start a club area :/. maybe they should note. people about this :/ i dont recommed this area :/

Went for the Xmas thing - took the kids. Took 15 mins to get water and order drink. Another 10 to actually get the drinks. Another 5 mins for the chips and salsa (1 salsa for a table of 4) and then we got to order food.10 mins later the queso came - without chips. By the time the chips came (we didn’t get chips until I complained, obviously annoyed, 10 mins later) the queso was cold. I ordered a beer at this point too.A little later the queso fundido came, which was burnt. I waited 20 mins for the beer and when it didn’t arrive we just told them to forget it and got the check.They never filled up the water or the salsa the entire time.Check was $117, which included a mandatory 18%, which I would not have given. Pretty sure they charged me for the beer I never got.Absolutely terrible experience and the more I think about this the more annoyed I get.

Im sorry to tell you this. The truth is that she was super excited to go eat at this restaurant. but if it takes me a great disappointment. pay 30 dlls for parking and for food 148 dlls. I loved the concept of the place. the drinks were ok, the lemonade tasted very ugly and the food; Well, it wasnt food, more like breakfast, chips very poor when they served. At first sight it was very good, the taste more or less; but after we got out of there our stomach started to ache and he repeated and repeated the food. Im not going to that place again. What a disappointment.

If I could give zero stars I would. However google has an abundance of grace. My Friends decided to treat me for my birthday and we patronized Yellow Rosa. WRONG DECISION! A friend and I ordered the chicken and waffles. When we received the meal the food was cold. We politely asked if the food could be made hot. The GM came out and told us the food would be fresh and they would be discarded of the old batch of food. The food arrived and it was hot, however we realized quickly that the food was not made fresh(before we gave the waiter the food back I had taken a bite from the waffle) thats how I knew it was cold. Low and behold they gave my friend my old plate of Chicken and Waffles. The food was NOT made from scratch. After we address the GM about it. He stated he would comp our food and remake the meal. I decline because at this point I was uncomfortable. The GM insisted. To not ruin the meal because I would have preferred to leave and go to Ebb and Flow. I allowed them to actually remake the food. The third attempt was a fail. After we professionally confronted the GM. We were treated as the villain even through they dropped the ball. To add insult to injury, when we went to pay for our drinks we were force to pay a 20% tip for terrible service or the lack thereof. This place is awful. I would not recommend to anyone. So much for my birthday brunch. Yellow Rosa Cocktaileria do better.

We came here with a reservation, got moved to see the snow, then got rushed out because they sat 3 to a table of 6, it was very rude of them to ask us to leave especially when they took an 18% gratuity off top off our checks. When I had something to say about the bad service, they came by and snatched my drinks and food off the table and then when I told them I had a reservation also and saw that there were ppl there earlier than I was and they weren’t leaving they didn’t care. I will never come back to this place their food wasn’t even that good and they will be shut down in a year or two, customer service is everything and they don’t have it. They are rude af, I have money to spend just like everyone else. They are bias and also i am black and they said something to me first before the other 2 hispanic tables that they claimed they asked to leave that I told you were there before me and my family. Came here for my birthday and I loved it! They gave me a free shot and gifted me the donkey piñata (mini) that the shot came in. They have a DJ in the second floor and they love decorating the ambience based on the season. Cocktails were amazing and so was their food! I have been here three times!

It was my first time going to this place and will be the last one too. The OWNER was VERY RUDE! He was actually cussing at us and mind you we had kids too. I feel bad for his workers because you can tell by their face expressions they were embarrassed and that it was not the first time this guy had done this. Bleh.Went with a party of 8 for brunch on a Saturday. They messed up several of the orders and it took them a long time to get them fixed.A couple of the chairs at the table were literally falling apart and not safe. Instead of removing them from the floor, they just switched with another table. I hope nobody gets hurt.The food was not good. I asked for over medium eggs and they came out over hard. They also had some weird taste that I cant explain. The beans were terrible. Im not sure how you mess up eggs and beans, but they did. The guiso was decent though. Thats all I ended up eating on my plate. I did like the chips and salsa though!Also, we got a huge party sized drink and it was watered down.The Mariachi was cool though, but not enough for me to go back.

Hard to find but feels very exclusive once you know. I went for brunch and there was a wonderful mariachi band playing the whole time. They eventually opened up the roof and let sunlight in, which made the entire place feel so dreamy! Loved the vibe and want to come back on a weekend evening to see it in a different light.The reasons I deducted stars are because our service was pretty terrible when I went (Sunday, March 14, 2021). Our server didnt pick up used plates and empty glasses, so they piled on our table. When I asked for extra napkins, she pointed to the rolled napkin around our silverware and told me to use that. Then, they charged $2.50 PER CUP of drip coffee - no free coffee refills here, friends. They only offer drip coffee so no specialty coffee drinks, either. Was disappointed to see that when I received my bill. Extremely disappointed. Booked reservations online, scheduled my entire holiday dinner and small company dinner around the only slot they had at 9:30pm a week in advance, had my makeup done, got outfits just for be contacted at 8:15pm by Yellow Rosa to tell me they had to cancel my reservation. No kind of empathy or anything to show they were sorry to just cancel last minute. I had to cancel with 10 girls that spent so much for this special Christmas dinner. Everything was booked or not available for other places. Not even going to try it, very unprofessional. Make sure if it’s a special occasion get a more professional or bigger restaurant chain that will not cancel on you. No holiday dinner for 2022 for special girls because of this inconvenience.

Food was delicious!! We were there for brunch. The Mariachis were great!! Entertaining for sure. Service was good. Great atmosphere. BUT we couldnt find the place AND the entrance. There isnt like a door that has enter here. Otherwise be prepared to pay about $20 for parking!!

Brunch is excellent but the drinks are amazing. I havent had a drink yet that I didnt like. The waitstaff are extremely friendly. The restaurant is a small place but it has a cozy atmosphere. On weekend days they will either have a person playing the guitar or Mariachis playing for brunch. On weekend night it turns into a mini club with a DJ.

Food was AMAZING! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Manager Jaime was very respectful and thankful for us going! I totally recommend this place for BRUNCH or even lunch..

First time visiting Deep Ellum . Got a reservation at Yellow Rosa. Everything from the atmosphere to service was amazing . Food was on point. Also shout out to our server for also recommending a few cool bars to visit during our stay. Definitely will be coming back.

We went on Saturday for a friends birthday and we originally sat next to the bar. We asked the waiter to sit us down down on the main area because where we were sitting was super dark it looked like a basement. So they sat us down to the main area where all the other tables were and it was beautiful! The mariachi was great and they sang beautifully. Their brunch menu is very limited, I ordered their papas con huevo and my friend ordered the chilaquiles and they had no taste. We asked for salt and that did no good because it was still flavorless! We ordered drinks and those were good. Apparently they give you a limit to the reservation? First time I’ve hear about this but I guess because it’s such a small place. Everything was good, except for the food which was a big disappointment, for the price!

This place is too cute! Great date night spot. Its small, so I would not suggest bringing a large party. However, you and a few friends or your boo will love it.

Best part of my Dallas trip! The atmosphere and decor is amazing! Reem, the bartender is super friendly and the mariachis are a huge plus! Come guess their secret ingredient in their refried beans. My next trip to Dallas will be to come back here.

Yeah I would not recommend this place. It’s just a hype up because of it’s decor. Decor is super cute and Nice to take pictures but other than that I wouldn’t go. The food is not good at all; unseasoned and cold. Actually the only thing seasoned was their chicken and waffles but that was over seasoned with salt! Even the mixed drinks were bad !! Long time for the waitress to come to our table to give us our silverware and tab.

This restaurant is really cool looking, I found it on a Dallas bloggers Instagram. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the service could have been more attentive. My girlfriend and I each ordered a cocktail and both were very good. We had queso and guacamole, the guac was excellent, the queso was good but the bowl was small for the price. We split quesadillas and those were fine. Overall good experience.

Went for a nice quiet girl’s brunch on a Saturday and ended up staying for many hours! The chilaquiles were delicious, the drinks were on point, and the ambiance was unique and inviting. The owner made himself available during our entire time, making sure we were well stocked on drinks and food. Highly recommend!

The ambience was amazing. Came to try the Crispy Avocado Ceviche, but fell in love with the staff and the decorations (although the food and drinks were great as well). Watched one girl (Aisha) help with almost all of the tables as well as behind the bar (is she a manager??... if not, she should be).Thanks for the great time. We will certainly be back!

Went once and had a decent time, so we decided to celebrate a birthday there this Saturday. We were denied entrance supposedly for the pants one of us was wearing. And I say supposedly, because we stayed for a few minutes to see other people go in wearing the same kind and had no problem. So there had to be some other reason. So we went somewhere else. We were two guys and two ladies. I dont understand why.Wont be back and wont recommend.

I traveled in from tulsa specifically to come here, see the christmas environment, get some drinks & apps & play the loteria. my brother & i made reservations for 7pm on thursday night. we arrived early around 6:30, got seated immediately & ordered drinks & an app. by 7:15 they still hadn’t started loteria so we ordered some more drinks but were feeling pretty full from our app. our waitress proceeds to ask us multiple times when we were going to order our entrees - we told her we were not quite hungry for them yet & asked when they were starting the loteria. she didn’t have an answer. at about 7:20 she proceeds to tell us if we don’t order entrees she’s gonna have to close our tab & seat the next reservation… we expressed frustration & she tried to guilt us by telling us it was her day off & she just wasn’t sure when the loteria was starting since she “doesn’t work thursdays normally”. never mind the fact that there were multiple tables (who were seated before us) with loteria tickets in hand & having a grand ole time.all this to say. we got forced out of our table, tab closed & charged the never disclosed 18% gratuity on top of all of that, without getting to play the loteria AND just 30 minutes after our reservation was scheduled.absolutely horrible service. i will not be returning.

This place is so underrated! Absolutely LOVED their steak and eggs and the live music was amazing. Drinks were strong and tangy just how i like them, and the service was great. I think I found my new favorite brunch spot.

What a pleasant surprise! Went for Sunday brunch the food was great small menu but dishes are good. One highlight was the mariachi band during brunch, we had the best seat in a private booth. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Service so bad it ruined an otherwise good meal. Minimum 18% tip for a party of three too. Yes, just three people. Usually 20% is my minimum tip anywhere but that ticked me off so I made an exception.

Loved the experience. Owner came around was really talkative and nice. Waitress was lovely. And the food was great. The cocktails however we’re even better. Would definitely recommend for a date night.
