We hosted our annual Christmas Party - Naughty or Nice - at the Candleroom for the first time this year and it exceeded expectations. The staff and owners were amazing and very responsive from start to finish. Tommy is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the venue and all of the options they have available for a private event (including vendors, caterers, DJ’s). A special thanks to the exceptional bartenders - Whitney, Shawn, and Stefan - for making our event so special and for keeping the libations flowing without a wait whatsoever. Olivia was remarkable- she went above and beyond to take care of our every need! Thank you, Chauncey, for the kind, hospitable greetings you had with our guests at the door; you’re a class act. The DJ and Light crew asked what we wanted and they delivered on every level. We cannot wait to host our next event with this venue and all-around magnificent crew! Highly recommend for a private event in Dallas!

Rented out for a private high school graduation party. Everything ran very smoothly, easy to work with, kids had a blast! In house DJ was great! We brought in our own approved food. Used valet for nominal flat charge which was nice and made it easy. Highly recommend!

We had the best experience at Candleroom! Perfect spot for a night out with friends, excellent service and the best music and vibes! Tommy was awesome, James is the best and we loved our girl Olivia!

I have been going to Candleroom for 10 years, and now as an event planner, it is still one of my go to venues to host private events because they location, staffing, and owner are great! I will be using Candleroom for as long as it’s in business! Love this club!

Came here after a wedding so obviously we were dressed to the nines. One of my friends had trouble getting in so we had to cut our night short. Such an inconvenience. We were all dressed sharp but he couldn’t get in cause of “dress code”. After we popped out to meet him, he had already left. We continued our night elsewhere and had a blast.

My friends and I had an amazing time celebrating a birthday!! Tommy and Olivia made our experience so special and perfect. Amazing music and atmosphere and service was 100/10. Truly exceeded our expectations. We are coming back in 2 weeks for another birthday and many more!

There’s a reason this venue has been around for over 20 years! Staff, atmosphere, drinks, all of it is one of the best in Dallas hands down!

James and Olivia took good care of our group!Olivia catered to us all night and made sure that anything that was needed was provided.This place is very nice. You dont necessarily need a section to have fun here. This is definitely what I consider more upscale.They have a photo booth, where your photos will be cycled on their screens, and you can email the photos to yourself as well.DJ Soulja did a great job all night with the music. Hes a very chill down to earth guy!

Very fun!! Went there on Saturday for a friend’s birthday and had a great time! Bottle girls are nice and attractive, and bartender poured good drinks. Would come back.

Amazing club celebrating there 20th year in 2023! Love the partnership they have showed The DJ School Dallas & its amazing student! One of the best nightclub experiences in the United States hand down!

Hosted a company celebration here recently and some of us left our I.D.s and credit cards there (theyd been held for the bill at the end). Even though they were closed the next day, Tommy was INCREDIBLE and met me there to close out my bill and make sure I was able get on my flight later that day with I.D. in hand. Seriously amazing customer service!!

From Sneakers to Stilettos! For 20+ years Candleroom bar has been welcoming those craving upbeat entertainment, from diverse demographics, offering different genres of music throughout their week. Similar to many clubs/lounges in Dallas, Miami Vibes are now promoted, complete with flared bottle service, and LED Presenter Signs. Although the layout, nor design offer anything awe inspiring, Candleroom Dallas maintain’s a certain level of nightlife charm. Never a fan of armless banquette, or bench like seating that encourage squatting on their backs, nor non-clearly defined reserved areas, especially when little common area is available for partiers. I am however a huge fan of bartenders such as Whitney, who have years with an establishment, share their history, and make you feel right at home. Because sharing is caring, I’ll share this partier beware; because of aforementioned design details, it’s incredibly important to have well trained, and respectful security. Candleroom Dallas absolutely has some work to do in this area, and recognize there are reasons patrons grace your doors, or not! Xoxo Lorenzo!

We had a high-school graduation party at the Candleroom. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for it. Everything was amazing: music, service, atmosphere. 10/10!!!

I am deeply disappointed with the discriminatory experience I had at this club. Despite adhering to all policies and expectations, I was denied entry solely based on my race. Such prejudiced behavior is not only unethical but goes against the principles of inclusivity and diversity that should be upheld in any establishment. It is disheartening to encounter such blatant discrimination in this day and age. I hope the management takes immediate steps to address this issue and implements policies that promote fairness and equality for all patrons but they likely encourage this.

This place was a blast!!! Especially that last DJ. I think it was Dj Rizza but yeah he had the place rocking. Really enjoyed the place

When nightclubs come and go in Dallas and you’ve been going to the same place for 15 years and never had a bad time yet... though we’re always at a table with bottle service. That helps. No one touching you.Love the new selfie camera in the hallway.Always bouncers to keep everything safe.

The guy at the front was very rude and would not let us in even though we had a reservation and told us they were sold out. We didnt try to argue the fact that he wouldnt let us in because you can clearly see they like to have a certain crowd and dont welcome people that look a certain way. After we left one of our friends who is hispanic was able to get in with no problem so that confirmed everything we thought. Im sure if you fit the description youll like it but anybody else, dont waste your time just spend your money elsewhere!

Great place for a big night out with your entire crew. Get dressed up and make sure you roll in VIP. Tables and bottle service make this a great destination for any occasion. Even during the week you can check this place out on Wednesday night. The vibe is always live and the dance floor will keep you entertained all night.

I came here to celebrate my birthday on 7/15 we pre-booked our table and when we showed up they didn’t know we had a reservation. They sat us in a little booth for a reservation of 8 & thankfully They moved us to a bigger section- when they came to serve us they had no idea we already pre-ordered our bottle and had us show our receipt from booking. Not a big deal but not the experience we paid for in my opinion. I had high hopes that this club would be a bit more upscale but felt more casual. Men wearing cargo shirts, women wearing sneakers (I thought there was a dress code?) We were also told that pre-booking online we would also receive champagne but that didn’t happen. The DJ was good & the music was poppin. Probably would go back but not for bottle service.

Music was really good, decent and happening environment crowd, service was nice however the cocktails were not great. Too much sweet and less alcohol.Wish they could make the dance floor bigger.

Great drinks And laser tag vibe! Depending on the time you come it’s more lit than others but they also have hoookah which is a plus! Bringing group of friends here again!

Spent New Years Eve 2022 here and had a blast! Bottle service was on point and the waitresses were helpful 💕 Tommy was a huge help with the photo booth they have!! Overall an amazing night and will definitely be back 😁

Have gone on Fridays for “Latin night” and barely no one was dancing! The DJ was playing amazing songs that were wasted on a boring crowd! People go there just for bottle service. It’s sad that so many places have become just that!

I wanted to say something good about this place because one of my friends told me the latin nights are good!! But honestly, check carefully your receipt, I dont drink alcohol, so just ask for water.$18dlls for a bottle of plain water.... ok this is a bar, most of the people drinks and thats ok. But they charge things that we didnt ask for. We dont drink tequila!! And charge 3 beverages that my friends didnt ask for, what a steal.... Im so dissapointed on how this places abuses on their costumer. Of course we didnt notice on the moment but when they told me how much we paid I check carefully and I KNOW WHAT THEY DRINK!!!Seriously if you come here, always had a person sober and check your balance, dont take water and most important: THERE ARE BETTER PLACES TO HANG OUT.I dont want to come back never.

Went here yesterday and it was nice. The venue is small and it gives you such an exclusive feel. The space is clean and the bathrooms were amazingly clean and well kept (rare for night clubs). There was a mess up with my cousins table(they never booked it in their system, so we never got it), but we made the best of it on the dance floor. Very diverse crowd; but it was really nice. I definitely plan on coming back.

Dallas staple. I love coming here they always treat me so well. Such a great place to celebrate or just hang out on Wednesdays.

Predatory “nightclub”. Read many other reviews with similar incidents from overcharging drinks to creepy people. The owner himself is clearly unapologetic. Look at his many replies to reviews, where he writes an aggressive response to anything negative. Very surprising how this place is still operating. Instead of replying aggressively maybe work on making your “nightclub” a better experience for others?

This was for a Birthday. We got info from a club promoter. Who told us if we did a party on a Friday we could get two tables and only have to buy one bottle (usually have to buy a bottle per table) so we booked and decided to do two bottles and were told wed get 3 tables. When we got there the bouncer argued with us we only got two tables. Then they tried to charge the ppl from our party $15 and said girls were free after 30 mins or so they charged all our other ppl $15 guys and girls. The manager or main guy seating everyone was very rude. After a while he came over to our second table and told us to get up and move. We did thinking he was looking for something since he had a flashlight. Then he sat other ppl at that table. He told us he sold that table. I tried to talk him that was part of our two tables and again he was rude. After we bought two bottles we should have atleast had two tables even though thats not what we were originally told. Also he kept saying he didnt even know who that promoter was and she was there. Like I said he was very rude. The ppl running the place were awful. It did have good music and the pic thing in the hall was cool but just awful service.

Music was cool, crowd was enjoyable, but hospitality of venue is not very welcoming. You kind of have to fit into their niche or (again the management more so than the crowd) you will be made to feel unwelcome. I would return though, it is a fun venue. BUT

Everything you could ask for in an exclusive nightclub experience. A selective door policy ensures standards and clientele remain upscale, classy and chic. The music was phenomenal, the drinks were great and the crowd was absolutely gorgeous.You are always going to run into celebrities and VIP personalities, models, entrepreneurs, agents and investors here. The staff was exceptional, the club was immaculate, and it is honestly one of the finest nightclub experiences you will encounter.Prices for bottle service and drinks are what you should expect for a place like this, so no complaints there. Ladies, wear and look your very best if you expect to get in. Guys, dont be cheap and you better bring at least one or more sexy ladies and arrive early if you want to get past the rope here. Unless your a member, on the guest list or a regular.

Gone on Wednesday night on friends recommendation. The big guy at the front told us he cant let us in if we dont have reservations or ladies. We spent our time to get there. I wouldnt go back again and dont recommend anybody. What a shame to discriminate customers for no reason.

Terrible music. Dead vibe inside. After spending over $100 they decided it was appropriate to sell the seats we were in to another group. Instead of politely mentioning it to me with a time warning they paraded the group over in front if us and made a huge scene in front of everyone and literally threw us out of the seats with zero warning other than the bouncers hovering over us in the most creepy possible way.. Keep in mind there were only like 5 people in this already dying venue. Spend your money elsewhere.. youll thank me.

This last Saturday night I was completely blown away by the hospitality and service at Candleroom. Let me back up to about 6 weeks ago. We were in the middle of planning our biggest charity fundraiser and suddenly needed a new place to have the event. Our director reached out to Candleroom and they immediately offered the place for our event. Not only did they offer the place for the event they threw in a couple items we were able to auction off at the event.Fast forward back to Saturday, things were a little hectic as we walked in to start setting up. Ashley, the coordinator at Candleroom was AWESOME! We were short a few volunteers and she jumped in and started helping. An hour into the event we ran out of plates (I know, I know) and we had rented them from an outside party but the bus boys jumped in and washed the plates we had so we could reuse them. The caterer had left and again with there only being limited volunteers who showed up the bus boy also helped out with keeping the food out and hot. Ashley was even running back and forth putting out desserts. I literally felt like they were all an extended part of our team that night.The bartenders made all of our guest feel really special, so much so they were making special drinks for our drinkers and non-drinkers alike. Making our non-drinkers feel just as special with a pretty drink in hand. The communication on the open bar and once we hit our limit was easy. They kept open communication the entire time and there were absolutely no surprises.Dont want to leave out that they even through valet parking in with the event space. It was so nice that our guests didnt have to worry about parking.If you are looking for an event space in Dallas, you have found it. The decor is chic and upscale and the staff is outstanding.And of course, Candleroom is still the place to go onWednesday night to be seen and dance your booty off. ;)

This bar is great, the bar staff is attentive and delivers drinks quickly. Second most important item is that the DJ they had on Saturday 5/29 was Top tier and dropped mixes better than Borgore :D The DJ kept it lit for hours, overall 6/5

The decor is really nice. The restrooms are clean. The music is fair. The patrons are primarily people in their 30s and 40s wanting to cut loose, which is great. I only mention this because Im in my 20s and didnt know what to expect, and was slightly disappointed that the crowd was older. Not a bad place, but not for me.

We celebrated my birthday there, and it was exceptional. the staff and the owner were very nice, I read the bad reviews as well here, but my experience was great, I made reservations ahead of time and made sure everything was confirmed and followed their policies and didnt have any issues, like they mention here in the reviewsThis an upscale club, its well maintained . Love it. Place to be. Fantastic staff, everyone is well trained and exceptionally professional. From valet to the gentlemen at the door. Real professional bartenders, beautiful waitresses and the management has set the standard. Dallas is blessed to have such an awesome CLUB.

There was a big ass ride white dude at the door with no manners when me and my cousin who serve in the military and was looking for a nice place to go to, arrived he asked if we had reservations and when we told him no he refused to let us in despite our attempt to pay. I never saw anything online mentioning we need reservations but the guy at the front door needs to learn how to have manners when dealing with people. But I will be sure to advise all my military friends not to go to this rude ass place.

My first visit and surely will be my last! Camewith a group of friends from out of town. We get there, on a Wednesday night, only to be told we have to purchase a table to come in. We were warned by some other black professionals we knew that if we went in a group it would be an issue. So, we get the table and are told we are required to get the bottle service as well. Meanwhile, when we got in there were several groups of non-black individuals at tables with not bottle service. The service was okay at best and the price we paid DEFINITELY should have afforded more than one bottle of crown! I spent less at Waterproof and had food and 2 bottles of crown and 3 bottles of champagne. #issanoforme Too bad b/c it’s super cute!

Cozy, intimate space. Best for bottle service. Music was ok, played a lot of variety which I think was the DJ trying to figure out what type of music the crowd responded to. Valet parking and bottle service specials a big plus. And very fun photo area which displays your pics on the club TVs

I went there yesterday been the Wednesday night as I was visiting out of town. The security folks at the entrance were awesome, the bartenders fantastic too! Overall it was an excellent night out as the atmosphere generally was a great one!

My girlfriend and I were having a great new years until she had to go outside to get some air because of how crowded it was.. then the bouncer (the big one with the beard) at the front was very rude to her and wouldnt let my girlfriend back in because he said she threw up. which she did NOT (she was sober by this time).. then wouldnt let her back in to get her stuff.. it wasnt what he said.. it was how he said it and the fact that it wasnt true.. he could have been nicer and more understanding and empathetic.

This place is cool, they have a lot of nice features like the selfie camera, hookah service, fast and friendly bartenders and it would be a good place to have a private section. However, the greatest downfall is that they really need to invest in a better DJ for Saturday nights, this guy plays the whole song, which seems like he’s following a Spotify playlist. We felt like we were at a middle school dance. DJs are the life of the party, they can make or break a place because they’re responsible of setting the vibe.

Great nightclub! I really enjoyed myself and I look forward to going back again. They have a cute photo booth station. You can take as many pictures as you like and send them to yourself via email. The music on Wednesday night was mostly hip hop with a trendy crowd. In fact, I left behind my Saint Laurent (YSL) bag and it was returned to me with everything inside of it. I had money, debit card, drivers license, and car keys. I feel at ease knowing they have an honest staff.

This place looked like it was 95% guys on a Wednesday. Im a female and was with 5 male workers from out of town. Only reason we went to this place was because it was next to old monk which we were at but apparently you can only go if you have get a table. Hilarious that this place thinks they are a Vegas club in the back alley of Knox Henderson. Also it seemed to be mostly minorities at this club based on people leaving the place at 11:30pm and sitting by the front door (Im an Asian female).

Wednesday night was BOMB! very classy and upscale place. Not casual but a place to celebrate a night out. I was fine in a button up jeans and Sperrys. Although keep in mind they are rather exclusive in regards of who they allow in, couples should be fine but groups may need reservations. I went as a single male and was detained at the door even though my friends had bought VIP table service. Ask for Lyndsey if you can, shes a great cocktail waitress. Aside from the minor annoyance of not being let in it was overall a great place.

Wouldn’t go again, great music and DJ but the crowd is creepy dressed up old men. No safety compromised but old crowd, like 60s. Granted we went of Saturday night at 11:30pm. Pass

Came here last weekend for a friend’s birthday. The group got a table and we had a great time. More importantly, I accidentally left my credit card. Suzanne the other staff took the time to return my call and find the card to get it back to me. That means a lot. Would definitely return.

Amazing experience. The Venue was very clean, organized, and esthetically pleasing. Bar service was 5 star and the staff was very personable. Not one issue all night. Highly recommend 👍👍

I’m here currently and my friend paid for a section ( which I’m not sure how much ) but I’m guessing it came with a water down bottle of Tito’s. You can instantly tell that it’s not the actual drink. I think that’s super dumb. You guys up upcharge for the cheapest bottle just to put water in it. CRAZY

Took an uber 10 miles to get in. Was told at the door we didnt have enough females in our party. The bouncer then let 5 males who drove up in fancy cars in without female. Do not waste your time unless you are rich.

DO NOT WASTE TIME!! I have several complaints, and the OWNER needs to take action ASAP, or he/she will be losing alot of business. Its incredible that employees take advantage of their job positions. The person that was at the entrance was super rude when we came in. We laughed it off and continued with our night, all off of this is very sad because this was one of our favorite spots, and that night we paid for ENTRANCES+VIP TABLE + Bottle services for a party 10+ and WE ARE NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS establishment, and we will make sure all our friends never do.We were at our table minding our own business, having a good time and an intoxicated man bumped into us. He got aggressive, stating that he was in the cartel, and he could have us killed and kidnapped etc, long story short he paid one of the bouncers to kick us out of the club! Its very sad and I hope that after the reports we have a placed with the police the owner takes action and re-evaluates his employees. 👎

Had a great time here. First time going and showed up solo. Had no issues getting in. Music was top notch. The photo wall was a nice touch. And the bottle service was impressive.

Paid $28 bucks for 3 lemon drop shots. During the mixing the bartender (short blonde guy) poured 2 shots out of the tumbler to some girls sitting in the corner, I assume these are the cocktail girls. We were left with 3 foamy shots that tasted like juice. 0 stars if I could. We paid for the girls that work there to get the liquor? What a joke.

It is a great nightclub, specially if you are looking for a party on Wednesday nights!!! I wish they had more space, because it is really small for a nightclub, but music is great and place is being run by professionals.

0 stars for service. Me and a friend went to check it out on a Wednesday, doorman refused entry saying we were too late so either we can buy a table or leave. At the same time he allowed others without tables to enter right in front of us. Another friend happened to come along on our way to the car and offered to get us in, informing us that theres no need to buy for entry. He was allowed in and we were again rudely denied. Very lame to treat your guests that way. We werent going in to drink water. I used to go here often but wed rather drop money on drinks somewhere else. Disrespectful.

Impressive place to bring a girlfriend or in my case even your fiance. Clean facility, great drinks, pretty and friendly bartenders. All topped off with a great sound system you could feel. RSVP necessary on Wednesdays.

Women are forced to pay cover before midnight. That would not be so bad if the lounge was actually enjoyable. The crowd are in there upper 50s and the DJ is disappointing. I will never return.

Sad day yesterday I got asked to leave and I heard them saying dont let him come back in. Im not sure wat happen I guess they had the wrong impression of me saying that I just stand around which I come by myself early and just be waitin on the place to get packed . They were saying I put myself on the rsvp list every week well I did that so it would ensure I could get in cuz wheneva I went late like around 12 I could never get in so I put myself on the list. They said I never buy drinks which I do Im not a big drinker but once the place gets packed Im definitely at the bar buying hurricane and Budweiser etc prices are 10 and 5 bucks for those 2 drinks.inknow because Ive bought them . I love the club tho its was perfect because Im off on Wednesday so that was my spot and Ashley was always a sweetheart she always put me on the list . I had a bouncer guy I always talked to who was cool I hate they had the wrong impression of me Im 40 Im not a thug are anything like that sad day. Im a classy guy so Ill get over it I was just kinda weird how it went down I was just tryna come support the club and have a great time .

I love the Candleroom! Wednesday nights are extremely fun and the weekends are great. I always have a great time here. They have amazing cocktails and wonderful service. This is a great place to go if you are looking to have some fun on a Wednesday night or the weekend.

The first time here, I like some of it. mango something, I forgot. But, to be honest, the DJ is not very good. Every time the song is good, he replaces it with another song. I mean, make a mix song that can make people want to dance on the dance floor.

Its a bar club, in other words, theres a DJ and a row of couches that are vip on a platform behind the dance floor which is in front of the bar. def a good place to check out 👍the bodyguards were always polite and let u occupy a couch if someone hadnt come to pay for vip yet. Great music and setup the bar is nice and its dark inside and for me that counts. Was one of me and my gf favorite places

The Candleroom is an awesome venue with a great atmosphere and a very professional staff. My friends and I always have a great time! As an added bonus, they also give back to the community by hosting charity events for organizations such as Paws in the City!

Sorry Not Sorry - A forgettable night to rememberThe recent experience (9/14/17) at Candleroom can be compared to a wick without its flame. I was invited to the club by one of my new friends to have a good time. I was unaware of Wednesdays being one of their prime nights during the weekday. My initial impression of the club was quite impressive, the people in the crowd seemed energetic and friendly. I sat next to an african american guy, Terrance, very friendly, whom had a birthday the day before and just wanted to chill with a few friends, real casual. I, as did others, bought him a drink. He really made the experience for me. Suddenly a Caucasian lady stumbles up to the bar, seemingly quite inebriated, looking for what appeared to have been just another drink. She turns to the guy, Terrance and says heeeyyyy... and he says the same back. The events that occurred afterwards is the reason why I elect to never return to this establishment. The Caucasian lady must have had a jealous, infuriated boyfriend that did not like for talking to another man. Long story short, the Caucasian male ultimately came up and punched t Terrance in the face! Terrance was not hostile or anything. He was completely caught off guard. The way the club handled that situation was grotesque. Instead of security removing the person that actually caused the scene, they removed Terrance instead. Now if they pulled the security footage, they would see that this man has been no threat to anyone. I followed the situation outside just to see that he was dismissed and no one from Candleroom staff, including the Indian manager, bouncer, or even the police later summoned wanted to hear him out. Luckily some of Terrance friends came out to bring him his phone, but his hat was still missing. Honestly I feel there was racism involved which is sad because we are in 2017 and still have to deal with this type of mentality. All in all, Candleroom needs to make that situation right. If him or any of his friends saw this post, theyll agree with me. Hope this helps others looking to attend this venue...

Just a bunch of old men and they wouldn’t let our friends in…I’ll give you the rest of the story. The boys (3) and girls (4) came in two different Ubers and the girls got there first, we got in, then you refused to let our three guys join us.

Your typical good luck getting past the doorman establishment in Dallas. The place is designed for bottle service, the layout is tables surrounding a small dance floor area, good luck getting in without a table.

Very Racist Place. Bouncer let’s all Caucasian people go in the club and front of us without reservations while we standing in front of the line. Then continued to looks at me and my African American friend and say you need a reservation to come in. This was my first time so I was extremely disappointed.

Candleroom was the perfect venue for our holiday party. All of the staff was courteous and efficient and we had a wonderful time. This is the second year in a row we have chosen this venue and will again in the future.Thank you for the excellent service!

Overpriced, very small place with only few tables, we didn’t like the music but the worst thing is that this place is on a dark alley. Not my cup of tea.

Me and my fam went last night and this place was so much fun! Dj Slay was off the chain! He camera when u first walk in is such a great idea and u can send the pic to urself so u have memories from that night!

Wonderful venue and attentive staff! The club itself has been updated and is comfortable, clean and stylish! We held a private event for a large group and this venue proved to be perfect!

The atmosphere here was 10/10. seriously a vibe. this is my favorite bottle service club in dfw and i can’t wait to go again.

Super small shot gun type of venue!! $200 tables so there is virtually no sitting! You shoulder to shoulder with people which makes it hard to dance, walk, or get out!!

This was the saddest lounge i have ever visited. We entered at 10PM which is good time for club hopping but to our bad there were only 5 people inside. Head to elm street and dont waste your time here

Single men can not get in after a certain time( I showed up at 11:50 ) unless you RSVPED. I will never be coming here again. It should be advertised on your website, and social media. Why would you make people waste their time driving there if everyone cant get in. Ill be telling all my friends and colleagues not to come here.

Valet is not trustworthy, they stole my money out of my car. The club was nice and elegant though the valet was untrustworthy after giving them a tip.

Came with a family friend and I had a great time. All the staff I dealt with was very pleasant. Definitely a great venue for organizing a celebration.

Overpriced for cover charge and drinks. Best thing about this is the bartender. They actually get tou drinks pretty quickly. Other than that too small of a venue.

I am foreign in this country and I consider as a guest. Every time I drive around 20-40 minutes to this place, but the number of times Ive entered is less than the number of times the white guy lets me in.
