Good venue for shows. Small enough to be intimate but big enough so you have plenty of room to dance and not feel crowded.Nothing fancy, just great DJs, a good sound and lighting system, and plenty of parking.I always pay for tickets and parking in advance. They can be twice as much or more at the door.
LOVE this venue! Saw Yellow Claw here this weekend and 2 years ago. Both times they were super kind and accommodating of my disability. They answered very quickly via email and were amazing with helping once at the venue. The sound was PERFECT. We saw Yellow Claw at other venues that couldnt keep up with the bass, but this place exceeded expectations. I dont mind the 5+ hour drive coming here if one of my favorite music acts are performing. HIGHLY recommend this place!!!
Great venue with easy parking. it would be awesome if they could upgrade the lasers a bit more (like add two more at the top) but other than that its a solid venue.some of the videos that are posted by reviewers involve DJs bringing some of their own production and they dont actually have that full setup at the venue.
I went to my first stereo live show at the end of 2016 (Dillion Francis!). Since then, I have been to many, many stereo live shows. I’ve seen Gorgon City there 3 times, haha. Never had a problem with the venue or the sound. It’s a good venue. The drinks are quite expensive now, yes. However, the tip is included so that speeds up the buying process.I would recommend going to see smaller, less popular artists there. The big artists draw too big of crowds. The venue is a good size but can be oversold for some of the bigger artists.
Drinks are too expensive. The crowd is nice. The sound system is great. A beer cost 7 dollars and a vodka redbull costs 13. Good artists do come here from time to time which sometimes make it worth it but besides that... meh
Lit music and concert venue. My crew and I went to see Gorgon City perform here and it had the same atmosphere as what you would see in many venues in NYC. Easy to get to and drinks are cheaper than other parts of the country. I personally liked how they had good ventilation esp when you go to the upper level. It can get quite muggy when around the crowd so that certainly helps.
It was very cool once we got in the lights and everything and confetti blower shot off several times. The outside is cool looking also. The place is very neat, plenty of room and they good djs all the time.
Ive been coming here for years. It has always been fun and safe. 3 bar locations inside, two are the bottom 1 on upper level. Upper level VIP tables with standing room also. Upper and lower restrooms. Outside smoking area in the back. Drinks are a fair price for a club. The only downside is that Lot B is in bad condition, I cant explain it. You just have to see it.
All so effortless and simple. No hassles whatsoever to park or enter club. Bartender super fast and friendly. Nice club, basic, clean, big wooden dancefloor, good soundsystem, 3D laser show, balloons floating everwhere, and was Halloween wknd so all were dressed up! Nice vibe for Guiseppi Ottoviani and support from Cameron Arnold. Great night and looking forward to next time!
An absolutely amazing night with Netsky. Flew in from Salt Lake City just for this. This place was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Everyone was so nice. The security guard named Tim was incredible. It was raining for a while and he held an umbrella for us while we were taking breaks outside. Best security guy ever!!! Sound and lights were fantastic!!!
I had a great experience with this place. They have a great size venue and their light show and their sounds were awesome ! Check out the pictures that I took! The couple of flaws are very limited of rest room and their floor are very sticky as if they dont care to mop the floors to keep it clean for the opening night.
Awesome venue, I’ve always had good experiences. The one down side to me is the women’s bathroom size. Please add another set of bathrooms. Other than that everything is great.
I would rate this venue more stars but the insanely priced drinks ruined it for me. $18 for a vodka red Bull?! 8 beers?! They are seriously taking advantage of concert goers. Ridiculous. Only perk of this venue is its one of the only venues that host different genres of electronic music mostly every weekend. Be aware of the crackheads and crime surrounding the venue. Lock your doors and ignore the drug addicts or they’ll come for you😳
Love this venue! Its retro, full of character and has a great acoustics! The floor also has bass and isnt just concrete. Really cool place to see concerts!
I always come here and the shows are ALWAYS crazy. The drinks are fair priced. Typical for Dallas. Outside could be better, compared to Houston, It has NOTHING on the Terrace. VIP is where you wanna be if you want to actually see the show. It provides a nice overhead view. Personally been to some INCREDIBLE shows here and i also Met Darude FREE. Stereo is Lit when the right show is in town.
First time (wont be my last!) experience here i went to see Tritonal, one of my favorites and it was amazing! (Note for the kind guy that wore a red/white# jersey/shirt (#21?) 11/18/22 at bottom ) The venue has a layout such that the audio is well balanced unless you go off to either side by the stairwells near the stage and under the upstairs area. The bass vibrates the floor and the light show is super pretty! Access to the bars for beverages is quite easy, though dont be surprised by the prices, you know how it is. The restroom was the only part i didnt care for... the dim red lighting on lots of old fashion tile and 1 doorless bathroom stall had me a little uneasy. That said, it was stocked with soap and the faucets/sinks were relatively clean which was nice. Oh and you have to pay... $10? For parking.I hope this reaches you, whoever you are. I wish id have at least asked you your name! Just want to thank you again for helping me along, i truly appreciate it and as little of a gesture it may have seemed it meant a lot to me. :)
My favorite venue no matter how many good ones come out in dfw. been coming here religiously more than church and seeing this place grow from what it was in 2019 versus 2024 is amazing. always meet very nice and cool people and have met some of my close friends at this venue through the years. the bar is normal prices for dfw nightlife - expect to pay $10-20 per drink/shot.once I was front row watching jason ross (amazing 10/10 show btw) and my phone fell out of my pocket while I was jumping and everyone around me had flashlights on to help me look (YES FRONT ROW) and turned out some godsent lad was walking all the way to the entrance to give it to lost and found and I was able to retrieve it easily thankfully. love this place and you will too. try to adapt to the large crowds because every single show will be like that nowadays AND IT IS FINE 🔥
I would give it 5 stars but there are still a few kinks that need to be sorted out. This is still one of the best electronic music venues in Dallas, and probably the one I most frequent. Major sound and visual upgrades in the recent months and I do applaud them for that! It is definitely a schedule I keep up with as they have consistently bring great talent! Some of the few things left is to fix up are the bathrooms and outside area.
The laser show was soo much fun and something I would go back! It was sooo much fun. Had a great time!Oh went back to see Loud Luxury. STEREOLIVE is the best place for all your EDM needs, if your like me! This time it was jam packed but why not, Loud Luxury! They delivered a great show and then took pictures afterwards!!!!🥰 I got my pic with them!!! The pic has made my year!!!Third concert at STEREOLIVE. Different but excellent. The laser show did not disappoint. So much fun!One of my favorite places to go to on the weekend. Love entering contests on FB and Instagram and winning free tickets. Parking starts at $10 and drinks are good!I love being able to go and hear my fav EDM artists and then take pics with them. I was able to take pics with Loud a Luxury and then with Clyde from Bonnie x Clyde. Also try their hurricane...it’s yummy!Derro was awesome!!Pretty good concert, Meauxgreen!Ben Nicky concert was Awesome!
Love this venue! Super accommodating for those with disabilities. Such a nice staff! Thank you Stereo Live!
Really dissatisfied my last visit to see Inzo. Waiting an hour just to park in a real sketchy lot. And the bathrooms are horrendous. 3 stalls, total! But Inzo was awesome. Had to leave early tho because didnt want to wait an hour to get out of parking.
Great place to dance into the early morning hours. Drinks are pricy, tho. Sound travels well in this place. Be there again for Crystal Method soon
A overall good time at was once a old movie theater. 3 bars and an upper level with reserved seating areas for bottle service. The biggest problem we had was the amount of bass. It was so strong the floor vibrated. I understand having it loud but damn the bass was so intense it was almost overwhelming. Balancing out the treble, midst and bass is always important but seems they turned the bass to 11.
Great atmosphere for dancing. The club either needs to stay open late /4am/ or headliners should start promptly at 10. A four hour set should be minimal for a headliner. If the venue is only good for four hours, they should be used wisely. I danced my a$$ off though. Drink prices are high but reasonable for added tax/tip. Staff deserves to be paid, just so long as I only swiped two $27 bar transactions. Id assume so since they swipe and close immediately. Id definitely ask the tender the totals just to keep track. Beautiful venue/4hr sessions needed.
I’ve seen some negative comments about the sound system but I thought it was great. Great smaller size venue. Can’t wait to be back next week for Space Laces!
Had a great time. It was advertised that the show starts at 10pm but it actually starts at 12am. Not the venue problem though.
Its always a good jam at Stereo Live Dallas! Dont think about it; just go check it out. Masks are encouraged (and social distancing, as well as the sanitizers errwhere) but not required. Have a good time see your favorite djs and be safe. If you moshin pick people up and be courteous, classy, and considerate; clean up after yourselves. We want to keep going to shows so dont **** it up for the rest of us.
Last time (James Hype ) was my final visit to this venue because they consistently sell more tickets than the capacity allows. As a result, it becomes extremely congested, making it impossible to move around freely or even find a place to stand after using the restroom or getting a drink. The bar area is always packed, making it difficult to reach and order a drink. Furthermore, the overcrowding leads to constant bumping and pushing as people try to make their way in or out. Additionally, there are only 2 or 3 restrooms available, resulting in long queues at the ladies room.Oh, and lets not forget about the heat inside the venue! It gets so hot that people start taking their shirts off. And you know what that means – sweaty bodies brushing past you as they make their way through the crowd. Not the most pleasant experience, to say the least!
Stereo live is a great spot to go for a veteran raver to see their favorite artist without breaking the bank and for a newcomer to edm music to experience their first rave!! Its a small venue but its deffinatly worth going to!!
Always come to stereolive and always have a blast. Lower the price of yalls drinks tho cuz aint no mfer trynna pay 18 dollars for a whiteclaw lmaooo 🤔
Yesterday at Stereo Live, following the conclusion of the show, I was in the parking lot enjoying a cigarette before departing. Despite informing one of the security guards multiple times that I would leave once I had finished smoking, he insisted that I depart immediately, threatening me by saying, Leave, or Ill smack you. It was evident that this approach was unnecessary, especially considering there were other individuals present in the parking lot at the time. The moment I started recording tge video he left. I strongly felt that I was being treated differently due to my ethnicity. I firmly believe that the security guard would not have taken the same confrontational approach with a white individual in a similar situation. I hope the management do something about this attached the picture of the person.
I like the edm djs on the weekends. Bathrooms are usually decent
If you are black do not waste your money on a table. I paid near 1000k for the best table in the club and was treated like a criminal by the security. From the moment I got in line to the moment I left. My friends all agreed as well. Will not spend my black dollar here again so I want to warn others. It’ll do club about 20 minutes away is a much better option.
Always a fun place. Have lots of great performers book throughout the year. Can’t wait to visit them again I would like to see a more different variety of terrific drinks and cocktails as well as maybe hookah but I understand that it’s sometimes hard if everybody else doesn’t like to be around the smoke, but then I see everybody vaping so it’s like meh. Still a very cool place to visit. Can’t wait for the next big act.
Came to watch Lost Kings. This seems to be the place where most of the DJs play. Great line up of artists and affordable tickets. The crowd is a little young, 18+ and no special area for 21+. As you get farther from the stage, the sound system does not travel far back. It was extremely hot in the crowd. But when you step to the back or upstairs, half the noise you hear is people talking. Drinks are pricey but that’s listed on their website. There’s one bathroom for each gender, the men’s had 3 awkward super low standing urinals and 2 toilets (1 that is missing a door). I would avoid going to see a show in this venue and catch your favorite artists at a different spot if possible TBH.
The bathrooms are unmaintained and horrendous. Otherwise the DJs here are solid, decent bar drinks. No cocktails
Cosmic Gate destroyed that place! Epic show, great drinks, meet and greet after. Ask that I could ask for!
Great venue, the staff there is pretty awesome. Shows are always great.
I’ve been to a lot of concerts/festivals and have never felt the need to leave a review before now. Forget the usual complaints ($7 plus tip for water, over-aggressive staff), this place committed the unforgivable crime of having blown speakers!! You could barely understand what the performer was saying and couldn’t even hear drum beats.. sounded like road noise you could easily hear the crowd over. We left early (first time in 36 years) and will be avoiding this venue for life.
Small club, but a lot of fun. Always has great lineups for edm. Acoustics and visuals are really good.Tips are built into the drink prices, makes ordering super efficient. Great service from the bartenders and staff.
Nice place! Smaller than the one in Houston but the sound is top notch. The crowd was a pleasantly surprising mix of different types of folks. The dudes at the door are stern but never rude, which I appreciate. My only gripe is the obscene prices for their pathetic selection of beers. But you dont go for the beer. You go for the artists.
I posted a 5 star review about a month ago as Ive been to this venue 2 times before. After going to see eptic last night Im changing my review. We went upstairs and security targeted me and me only. I was with 3 other people and was the only one who got yelled at for grabbing the rail. 3 separate security guards told me to stop grabbing the rail when I was never grabbing it in the first place. The last one who came up to me even admitted that he couldnt see my hands or tell if I was grabbing the rail. security is out of hand and really picks and chooses who that wanna yell at the whole left side was shaking the rail but I was the one who got yelled at.
Saw Timmy Trumpet here. AMAZING SHOW! I loved how cold the place was since we were dancing so much and so many people were there it got hot quick, so Im glad they had lots of fans! Would visit again for future EDM shows
I love Stereo Live! Best place to watch djs of all genres. Sound, staff and lights on point. My favorite spot, BUT they really need to add more restrooms. There are only 3 stalls downstairs and 3 upstairs for ladies. The lines are ridiculous. Theres a whole empty area up front that used to be for merch or something. They need to make that more bathrooms instead of wasted space!
Great venue with great people. My favorite bottle girl Cristina is always on point with the service and she’s always a whole vibe! The place is usually clean and the security is always making sure everyone is good. But again CRISTINA…always super nice and provides impeccable fast service! Ask for her when you go! She’ll take care of you and your peeps! :)
Security will protect the men and their restroom at all cost, including grabbing women and literally throwing them onto the street with no explanation and not caring that their personal belongings are left behind.
Love love love this venue! It’s always a party! The only reason why I can’t give 5 stars is because I wish security were more on it when it comes to VIP/bottle service sections. It’s as if they allow anyone in these sections and gets over crowded up stairs.
This place is safe for females! We had a group of us come here tonight and there was a guy that was following our group around and even attempted to force a kiss on our friend. We told the security guard, Mitchell, and he immediately grabbed another security guard and had the creep removed. They even made sure he left the parking lot so he could not be predatory there.
Been a regular to Sterio live since 2016, its high time for a new sound system.Update - after watching Agents of Time play at Sterio live, would like to iterate how bad the experience was. all we could hear was heavy base with no clarity in wavelengths of techno, house music compared to the base. There is no point in bringing world class DJ’s without fixing audio system.
I love coming here to listen to music! The venue is large with good sound and lighting system. A big plus is they do have water jugs to the side of the bar in case you get thirsty. The only downside is paid parking.
Had a good time here. No hassle getting in. Great vibes from the crowd. Feels more like a club than a concert venue and thats kind nice.
Pretty decent venue. Nice open sight lines to the stage. Bar staff was efficient and I liked not having to run a tab or remember to tip, as drinks were closed out per transaction.I didnt have any issues with security or staff.
It’s hit or miss. Depends on the dj I guess. When the house is packed, the times are memories never forgotten
I will always patronize this business. However, when I was here for Duke Dumont, the security in front allowed a group of women (drunk, white, obnoxious) bully and harrass people they didnt want in the front row with them. Even while witnessing their childish antics, he continued to allow them to be rude and push people out of the way.Next time..Im poppin a heaux in her face since security doesnt feel the need to control the crowd.
I have been going to stereo live since 2017, and this place is losing its vibe for me. Went to Eptic last night, having a great time, everyone breaking their necks headbanging on the rail & dancing. Im standing there with my sister and security tells her to stop grabbing the rail. Ok...listen, everyone else is too, but she stopped because they told her to. Tell me why 2 other security guards come up after that and tell her to stop again. She was no longer grabbing it and I feel like they singled her out because the guys next to us were leaning and grabbing the rail, putting their whole leg through the bar (on the top level). Yall need to chill, or maybe dont open the top at all, get better rails, OR be consistent and tell everyone that. The outside workers checking IDS and tickets were nice though.
Stereo live is a fantastic concert hall for Raves. I have gone to 4 of them here, they always are cheap tickets. The bar is always accessible and easy. The lights and sound systems are top tier. I highly recommend catching a rave here.
Very intimate venue where there is no bad area to watch the show. I was on the balcony, which made for more comfortable arrangements to enjoy the show, but again, even on the floor, the crowd looked like they enjoyed the show and even saw people with room to dance.
Ive been to a few shows and let me just say that tonights PVD set was...magical. The venue itself...GREAT. From the forming of line to get thru security to the updated light show. Absolutely phenomenal. What Dallas needed. NOW WE HAVE IT. Thanks StereoLive for raising the Bar in Trance venues here the The DFW
Great small venue for shows! The security here is absolutely ridiculous though thats the only thing I would just be mindful of. They will literally stare you down the entire show for no reason when youre not doing anything wrong just for maybe a couple people there that actually may be. Other than that the drinks are great, they always have steady schedule of good artists and the tickets here arent very expensive!
It was an okay venue. Couldn’t dance too much cause people always bumped into me and stopped me from doing so. I don’t drink, so I was sober, I know others may have been under the influence so I didn’t pay too much attention and just kept vibing. I felt the sound could’ve been a little better. The lights in the venue is great in my opinion. I wasn’t too excited about the fact that there was only one bathroom.I will say I am kinda spoiled by the Houston venue with the size, bars, and bathroom space for sure.Other than that, I’d go back!
Good: They had good security that was very present and diligent (inside and out) which can be annoying but is overall a great thing for safety. They metal detect and do reasonable checks. Lines going in move pretty fast even from literally the other side of the building. Inside they wouldnt let people sit on the ground or stairs, which again is annoying but overall a good way to make sure people are safe which is top priority. Props on that for sure. There is an outdoor area with benches which is nice if you need a break or you smoke, etc. Very nice. Parking is ample and not far, you do have to pay but its not outrageous. We did experience the lines of cars narrowing to a pinch point in multiple spots so people could actually get trapped in but I HAVE to assume thats not normal and was just dumb people. For reference this was in the lot across the street which does not have marked lines but did have people guiding drivers into rows properly when we arrived.Bad: The bathrooms are broken and subpar and have apparently been like that for years. Really? The issues (broken door for example) would be so cheap and easy to fix I cant understand why they would leave it like that. There were STICKY floors including the thinly carpeted upstairs, I peeeeelled me shoes of the floor over and over. I totally understand that people can spill drinks and be gross but then why would you leave saturated carpeting up there? The upstairs also has lots of ripped and worn sticky furniture for reserved spaces just looked icky, and again I get that obviously the owners didnt do that, but it is their job to upkeep it. Water was SO EXPENSIVE and there were no water fountains or other options. I understand they have to make money but safety first always, thats insane. It was a mix but overall I would never return to this venue as is. Its sad because the issues could be easily fixed and maintained and its not super bad but the fact that it COULD pretty easily be MUCH better sucks.TLDR:GOOD: sound, outdoor area, security, parkingBAD: bathrooms, cleanliness, no free/cheap water
Came for Aly & Fila which was a great event. Good DJ sets leading up to the show. Drinks were good but a bit pricey. Security was everywhere making sure everyone was responsible and having a good time. Only negative when compared to other EDM clubs in Dallas is there is virtually no seating whatsoever for crusty old guys like me.
Every time my friends and I get VIP because Asia is the best and always help. Most the bartenders and service staff are phenomenal people and I’ll always come back for them
Love StereoLive Dallas.. we have been to many different places in Dallas/Ft Worth but this is the one place we always come back to.. best venue, concerts and staff go out of their way to make everything awesome.. thank you
Friendly staff, excellent artist selection for shows, and a reasonably sized venue. The view is good from anywhere and there are enough bars/staff to keep the wait from getting too long. One thing I will caution - at least for the mens restroom it’s best to use the restroom before you arrive. There is only one stall with a door (there’s a second toilet but no room to put a door. A sliding door might be an option?). This is a very small detail until you need it so I wanted to make sure it was noted.
I go to Stereo Live about every other weekend for a show.PROS: large venue , multiple bar stations , upstairs area for table/bottle service , downstairs for general standing room/pit area.CONS: parking is $15 each time? Even though they have a very large lot for parking i still think this is too high a price when already paying for show tickets.Bathrooms : Always ALWAYS terrible bathroom service. Only 2 stalls in womens bathroom and usually no toilet paper and no locks on stalls.Long line because theres no stalls but they pack the venue full.Cleanliness: Also terrible. Im not sure that they even clean this place between concerts to be honest. Sticky floors even at start of event. Dingy outdated feeling.Table Service: again , outdated dingy feeling. Seats feel more like old style booths and are uncomfortable (not that you do much sitting). This isnt like club bottle service , they dont come out with sparklers or signs. Just a bucket on the table with bottles, ect. My crew were going back and forth from the bar to PURCHASE drinks. Nothing special and wouldnt pay for that service again.I honestly would not choose to attend this venue if I had the choice but unfortunately for me , they book some good artists and Ill keep coming back. Please lower the parking price though!!Or offer an annual parking pass for your repeat customers.
Someone groped me in the crowd. Please ladies be careful.
I have never had a problem here and it’s always a great time. however, there is a white male with a beard as security who made my group and i leave after i was holding my girlfriends drink while she was in the restroom. (My girlfriend is 21 and i am 20) i had not taken a sip and i told them who it was for and my girlfriend had even walked out of the restroom in time to let him know it was hers. yet we still get kicked out.
Really frustrated ast this place is really one of the few venues to see good EDM shows in Dallas but the security staff is just way over the top. I’ve been here over 50 times at this point and have had some really awesome nights but tonight had an experience that makes me never want to go back (unfortunately I’m sure I’ll have to to see some of my favorite shows there again)Warning from the wise if you for what ever reason have a 18-20 year old in your party just make sure you don’t buy drinks. I asked my 20 year old friend to hold a drink while I adjust my LED glasses and was kicked out because she held my drink for 15 seconds max. No sips nothing, just for quickly holding my drink while I adjusted my outfit.Annoying because I really did like this venue but seeing this dark side of the security I’m not sure I’ll be coming back unless the show is somthing I just couldn’t miss. They were super aggressive and got like 3 security guards to kick my group out as I was just trying to explain the misunderstanding. Completely fell on deaf ears. Spend $100 here and they could care less. Overall we probably spent 15-20 min total in there. The DJ hadn’t even came in stage yet.Really unfortunate that I feel this way now as I’m so split on whether or not to ever spend money here again. Hope everyone else has a better experience than I had
Nice sized space for concerts and plenty of bars spread out inside the venue. I dont know if this is done for every event, but when buying drinks they automatically charge a tip as well. Not against tipping this way, but would like the option to give a better tip. Event setup does have the standard light setup, fog and confetti cannons, and some lasers point horizontal (over the crowd on the first floor but below the feet of those on the balcony). It also had LED screens for some visuals on the stage with only a few dead or failing pixels. Its decent enough.Parking on the property is fairly well organized, but the earlier you arrive the further back in the parking lot youll be. There is still the large parking area across the street, but its worth it to arrive early. Do not leave your car in the gas station parking though or you will be towed at your expense.
Solid concert venue, don’t wear your good shoes.
Really disappointed in the security guards at this place. They abuse their power and are not afraid to assault you. Be careful. I am truly traumatized by how I saw a male security guard handle a woman. There are so many other ways to ask someone to leave an event versus nearly tackling them. I loved going to this place prior to seeing what I did and now I question the safety of being there.
Clean bathrooms, big space. Decent drinks.
Been coming to Stereo Live since it first opened in 2016. A lot has changed since then.. they have a good dance floor, AMAZING speakers (can feel the bass at the back), great lights and visual work. Only complaints I have is 1. Drinks are a little overpriced and 2. (More importantly) they took away the vast seating and outdoor speaker in the back. But its a good venue, go see your favorite artist if theyre playing there
I always have a great experience at Stereo Live Dallas.Good selection of artists. Great venue for EDM fans. Getting drinks is fast. Buying tickets is super easy.
If you like DJ music and dancing this the place.
Nice enough venue does a good job at making a concert but if you are a dancer or like skill toys this isnt a place for you. They dont allow fans, gloves, hoops, poi, or anything like that. Overall clean but basic venue. I wish it could have a more lively and laid back concert :( ... p.s. the floors are really sticky for some reason?
Went for Dirty Snatcha. Small venue, really great atmosphere. Very memorable night.
This place is excellent for anyone in the edm community who wants to have a great time and enjoys edm. I always have a great time there, get to meet great people, and I feel safe because of all the security and cops at the entrance which are mainly there for your safety not to ruin your party. Highly recommend and I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because its not the biggest venue.
The venue itself is decent and what youd expect from a venue. You know, the typical standing room only, over priced drinks, no where to just sit and chill and no food options. The only reason I went was to see a group called Breathe Carolina and for whatever reason they were playing on a Thursday at 10 p.m., but we waited over 2 hours while they had some dj playing and thats when we decided to leave. Also its completely cashless so bring your card
Amazing venue. Security is really professional and bartenders are very nice. It can get VERY hot in the venue so make sure you hydrate. Have 2 nice smoking spots on either side of the stage, and a balcony that is either open or for VIP ticket holders. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an awesome show.
This is an awesome venue. When I first went, it first felt a little cramped and crowded. After seeing a couple other big shows, I realized it really strikes a fairly perfect balance between size and intimacy with the performer. I have only seen EDM shows, so they are usually pretty rowdy. However you can usually always get a drink pretty quick and can always find a place to dance and move if youre okay with being a little further from the action (even the farthest place you can be is a literally a stones throw from the performer).
I absolutely loved this venue! I came here for a Riot Ten show and had a blast. The only thing that was annoying was the staff. They were kicking people out for puking in trash cans which didn’t make any sense to me. They need to get new staff that actually understands the rave community.
Great venue always killer music and the bar has amazing and great priced drinks. Also love that there free water for anyone having a Good Time 👍
Worked as a cleaner me an my husband. We enjoyed Nick the manager super cool and 98 percent of the staff were so friendly. The music vibe with the DJs is unbelievable, kept the crowd rocking. Wish we could of stayed employed with them. So keep on playing that Funky Music.Stereo Live

Pretty good venue. They have good artists come here. Expensive drinks. I emailed them a question about an event once and they actually responded when none of the other organizers would. I’ve never had any problem with mean bouncers or anything like that. It gets really hot in here though so be ready for that
Love this venue! The process for getting a table is a bit odd, but Nina, their VIP host is excellent and patient with people fumbling through the process for the first time!
Went to the Kream rave here, very fun
I love this venue! The setup of the stage to the audience to visible at all points of the facility. Theres a upstairs area thats spacious too. Upstairs and downstairs bar with fast bartenders to serve you. Amazing sound system. The only problem is that the venue is far from the city where majority of music venues and bars are.
I love this place the staff are very nice peopleI became friends with them. The venue is pretty big
The concert was amazing and its always a great time here. The bar tenders are awesome but the prices are a bit high but not as bad as other places. All in all its a great venue for any concert you want to go to.
Overall a nice venue but since its cashless I got receipts emailed and I noticed I got overcharged for my 3rd round of drinks so that was a bit disappointing (got charged 2 vodka redbulls instead of 2 vodka sodas). I appreciate the autograt because I want to make sure the bartenders are tipped but Im not sure how to better navigate this in the futureUPDATE - Was reached out by management/staff and they were able to assist. Thank you!
Good venue, sound is decent everywhere. Could use better bathrooms and air circulation, but youre there for the music.
I didnt even know this place existed until infected mushroom performed and now Im realizing there are so many great acts performing there. Lots of parking, you have to pay for it its like 10 bucks or five bucks depends on the act. This is not a big place and its very small compare to other places but its kind of cool. You have a full bar and whatever drinks you want to drink. You also have a vip upstairs. That night it was empty. Overall its a nice cool place to listen 2 electronic music famous artists.
Been going to Stereo for about three years now. The venue was built in the 40s, as you can tell from the old theater look. Some of the best producers and DJs come here. Drinks are pricey , about 7-9 dollar range depending in the time of night. The servers are great. The workers in general are fantastic. Never had a problem. 4/5 because its great but not the best of the best.
Worst sound system, mix, and/or accoustics Ive experienced in a long time. Completely ruined the performance. Tried moving to different locations in venue to see if it helped but it was terrible everywhere. Drink selection was the most uninspired Ive ever seen. They only offered three of the worst beers possible and nothing on tap, and of course the prices were unreasonable. They charged $10 for parking in their own parking lot. A music venue run lack a trashy night club. I would not go back here if my favorite artist was performing. The owners should attend some music venues in Deep Ellum and observe what its like in professionally run establishments. At least the staff was friendly enough, but nobody working there really seemed into or part of the EDM scene.
Its a nice venue if you like smaller shows and if you want to connect with the crowd more. And if you want to sit down you can always go upstairs and view the show from up there. If youre a smoker they have an outside area for you to do that as well. They also have 2 bars, one upstairs and then one down stairs which is normally the first one you see unless you enter through the top first.
Here right now for the first time. Nice venue with a decent size.... Only complaint is the sound is great, but I CANT FEEL THE BASS IN MY CHEST. Maybe the owner could see about flipping half of the sub cabinets toward the crowd? I feel like they are firing into the stage instead of at the crowd.
Open dance floor with balcony. Bars up and downstairs. It looks like an nostalgic theatre outside. Couches upstairs and VIP area. Make sure you park inside the venue fence, otherwise youll get towed.
I didnt enjoy what the people that work there were doing at allI can start of by saying youll be shown a type of bullying that u wont enjoy by anymeans the people that work there r horrible at running that placeIll never go there again for any reason after what I ExperiencedWorst place to go for fun
I come here frequently for EDM shows, and I find it to be a great venue. It is small enough that it feels intimate and close-knit, yet big enough to rage and have fun. That also means that the acoustics are wonderful because you can clearly hear the music virtually anywhere in the building. The restrooms are small but clean, with the occasional stall door missing in the girls restroom. There are plenty of ways to access the bars, which obviously do overcharge for drinks, but they are better than other Dallas venues in terms of portions and prices. There is a second floor to the venue with a bar up there and some lounge seats. Definitely a safer option for people who dislike being in crowds of sweaty people. The lights and lasers are wonderful, and depending on the artist, they can be so overwhelmingly beautiful. Gotta be 18+ to enter. The security cards at the door. You must present a physical ID; they dont accept photos of the ID - letting yall know from previous experience LOLTicket prices range from free to $40. The fees on Eventbrite arent as terrible as Ticketmaster or AXS. The sooner you buy the tickets, the better.Parking is $10. You can pay either at the gate or online, but I recommend buying your ticket online, so the line moves faster. Plenty of spaces. Because the venue is small, I doubt the second lot ever fills up entirely. Also, another note, is that most DJs dont come on the stage until 12-12:30 AM, so a local opener will typically play until then UNLESS the headliner is touring with other DJs! Make sure you look that information up to avoid missing out on anybody. One criticism I would make is the inconsistency of the volume and bass of the speakers. Some nights I would leave half-deaf, other nights I would feel like it was not loud enough or I could not feel the bass. I recommend standing in the middle because the side speakers are SO DEAFENING. Otherwise, I do enjoy coming to Stereo Live for shows.
The artists that perform at this venue are well known and are some of the best artist However, the venue is gross, outdated, and the sound system needs updating. The area is sketchy as hell lol. STEREO LIVE needs a new and safe location, a nicer and more upscale venue.
Current policies allow for direct theft from would be customers. Witnessed countless concert attendees turned away and denied entry after paying for tickets and parking. This is clearly a failure from a top down perspective.
Enjoyed a Slushi set there. Didnt buy any drinks but staff that directed parking and entrance staff were very nice. Concert goers were well mannered.
Expected more from AlokStereo live location 👎Their maintenance inside 👌
Beautiful space and great vibes! Very cool looking exterior and interior. Loved the light show as well. Conveniently located, parking was not a problem. Definitely want to come back for another concert !
My first EDM show was Markus Schulz and it was awesome. The sound is good and loud, but perhaps to loud. Maybe Im just old. I do recommend earplugs. I didnt utilize the bathroom or get any drinks. The surrounding area seemed sketch so I wouldnt recommend walking to far away at night.
Venue was great. The upstairs area is now opened to everyone with another bar and restrooms up there. Sound quality was great and the lazers/production was good too.Smoke area off to the side for smokers
Great sound and lighting system. Doesnt seem to be overcrowded. Its away from all the clubs so no crowds and ample parking
Ive yet to have any issues at SLD in the year since Ive been attending. Everyone who works there is very friendly, rowdy guests are always taken care of, bartenders are awesome and the shows are great. They seem to constantly be improving, adding couches, and fans for starters. The sound can be a little off sometimes, like the bass way too loud at a trance show, but, Im not sure if thats on Stereo or the artist playing. I have a hell of a time every time I visit :)
Great place and my fave venue for EDM shows. Theyve put money into their sound and light setup, and its shown over the years. Staff is always friendly, with awesome door greeters (Jesse, Justin, James and Conor were all friendly) . The crowd is usually really good too, so Im always excited when a new show is announced there. Keep up the solid work and keep the great djs coming guys!
Great venue, but giving it four stars for a few reasons. It has a distinct, strange smell, and the floor is always sticky. Its nothing too outrageous, but its definitely noticeable when you first arrive. Also a woman in the womens bathroom tried to sell me random stuff (perfume, hair accessories, etc.) when I went in there. I was there early waiting for a show and saw that she was allowed to go into the venue before everyone else and set up. Shes set up right by the entrance/exit to the bathroom, so you cant avoid her.She was sweet, but I really dont want to buy random things while trying to dance. It was just rather strange. Ive never experienced that anywhere else.
Great little place! I gone there for a few shows Deorro being the best! VIP is nice, but there is something about being in the crowd the hype gets real. People tend to be great theres always those that are annoying but security takes care of those pretty quick! Finally great place for a good rave!
The owner seems uninterested in the acoustics/sound quality across most of the upstairs/VIP area. It wouldn’t cost much to correct this tragedy and the new experience would change everything.
This venue is awful, and should be condemned. I was there June 10th, 2017 for Flux Pavilion, and while Ive been there before this experience was the last straw and I dont have any desire to go back. It was a sold out show, there was no A/C going, and there were even large industrial fans present that were not even on. They boast about all these great remodels theyve made and plan on making, but instead of improving the dance floor why not level out the ramp going out back to the smoking section? Why dont you care to pave the area going towards the outside? Someone is going to slip and die on that awful, wet, and dirty excuse you call a hallway. To top it all off your staff is RUDE. I ordered a drink and a water, and when the female bartender in VIP came back I asked her for one more drink and she rolled her eyes at me. The staff was more concerned about catching kids trying to go upstairs then the safety concerns everywhere. Given the part of town youre in all youre running is a HUGE trap house, and I think youre aware and just dont care. I dont care the circumstance I will not be back here.Anyone reading this and still plan on going here please be safe and cautious of your surroundings. The regulars here are scum, and are looking to take advantage of girls, steal your phone/wallet, and sell harder drugs than you signed up for. All with no A/C...
Have been dozens of times, my favorite place to go on the weekend for quality house, trap, trance acts. Best way to enjoy is to get a VIP ticket to enjoy updated bathrooms upstairs and have access to both levels. Owner and staff has done a lot of work for the past two years (old theater). Replaced floors downstairs, added seating, bottle service upstairs. I would recommend to anyone new to Dallas-Fort Worth.
Other then its a cashless venue....its 1 of my favorites.love the Production they bring. Had lots of good memories in this building! 9/10x your gonna have a good time.
The shows put on here are incredible. Ive been to 3 shows in the past month and Im blown away every time. The bartenders are always fast and efficient. Love this place
This venue has updated the light production so shows are a lot more enjoyable. Drinks are a bit pricey, VIP area is spacious and has a great view of the stage.
All of the electronic shows that Ive seen here have been great! Always a good light show and good sound quality. My only complaint is that it runs on the chilly side from the AC. Apart from that, this place is one the better venues in Dallas.
Excellent sound system, great floor layout, and stunning stage technology/light show. Saw Cosmic Gate back in March, definitely coming back for other artists. Only complaint is that the bathrooms could use some work/upscaling
Edit: After 6 years of loyalty , I am being denied access because I misplaced my ID before tonights show. It comes with extreme disappointment that people cant utilize common sense any more and every situation is forced into cookie cutter rules. I could give a descriptive tour of the place 🤣 The photo is clear as day, and I have years of tickets in my name here showing Ive been let in (ie 18+) since 2016. Im mildly heartbroken, and I wont be coming back. Its been a good run. Plus no gloves, pashes, or flow toys. Sad times for stereo. Its time to put places like these out of business in the rave community. Do better.Best EDM scene in town. We have been going since it opened and it was a glow up. Security is always on top of things but friendly and non intimidating. Always room to dance. The only down side it that is does attract people from outside the community and they tend to come in with different intentions than most people just trying to fill their rave fix in between festivals. But the love is normally overwhelming.Oh and free water!
Stereo live is a great concert venue. However, I cant give it 5 stars because of the bathroom situation and the fact that its super hot in there. They are currently renovating the upstairs bathrooms so hopefully it will be better soon, but there are only 3 stalls currently in the womens bathroom.
Medium sized venue that isually books good artists. The inside still kind of feels unfinished but the sound system is always good. Large dance floor/pit in front of the stage with VIP upstairs area
Great venue in the middle on nowhere, but they have great DJs and music!
Went to a show here in May 2017. Have not been to this venue in a long time. Although its been updated, it could still use some work. No seating unless you buy a table. Only one bathroom at the entrance of the venue. Sound isnt the greatest. With this being said, the ticket prices were cheap for a big name DJ so it was worth it. With a little work this place could be a lot better.
Good crowd always never a problem except underagers and rules about I.d. lol Good talent always booked and space to dance it out. Free water! Also a good view from any angle.
Nice concert venue. Two levels. Great view of stage from balcony. Cool lights. Decent drinks & okay prices. Large smoking area outside. Staff was polite.
I saw Slushii here a little over a week ago. The venu was great, parking was cheap, and I never had to wait long to purchase a drink. I came by myself and still had an amazing time and met new friends. Unfortunately, some random guy was bothering me as I was trying to leave the venue at the end of the night and call an uber. He somehow even managed to get my phone away from me, but the security was awesome and managed to get my phone back for me when I quickly alerted them to my missing phone and asked them to search him! A super bad ending to a great night was avoided.
Great venue. The people are super fun and friendly. The bar staff is great. Security does their job well. This place is helping build the EDM scene. They have awesome screen potential.DJs need to be aware and really utilize the full capacity of this venue. The graphics are part of the experience!! Terrible, pixelated graphics or graphics that don’t do better than the standard Mac screen saver don’t help some DJs.The bathrooms could use an upgrade. But overall this is a very fun venue.
This is the best venue for EDM music. Theres a spacious dance floor and outside patio. What I dont like is the overpriced drinks. That is expected though. Another thing is if you dont park in their lot, they will question you. Theyre already making money and I paid for my admission so why cant I take Lyft there.
Always a great time here but like many others stated the drinks are pretty expensive! $16 for a Long Island iced tea?!? What are we in South Beach, Miami now?? Also they don’t accept cash anymore for some reason so be prepared to buy a parking pass ahead of time and bring your debit card. I would highly recommend wearing a mask as well if you’re not vaccinated, I got covid from a show here a little over a week ago which is not their fault whatsoever just stating for others safety. Amazing show though, always have amazing edm artist coming through!
My diet time there and glad I took it. The mens room needed a little help. But, the place was great otherwise. Phenomenal sound system. It made my first time seeing Digweed live unforgettable.
Love the events that come through, but the security are some of the RUDEST people I have come across. Drinks are expensive just like any other venue. Also, its pretty silly that pashminas/shawls arent allowed. This is the only venue Ive been to that prohibits these.
Decent venue for some cool DJs. Cheap tickets, but drinks will cost you and Id say theyre low quality. The LED is worn and in need of repair, they could put some money into the establishment in general.
Old theater converted to dance club. No flash or flair. There is an upper balcony but not sure what they use it for, never see it open. Good sound and lights but small stage so dont expect elaborate stage sets.
Venue is ok, a bit small and not in the best location but they bring in great names and offer a lot of deals and contests for free tickets with is amazing! For awhile they were pretty strict with what was allowed in but the last time i went they eased up allowing pashminas back in and small purses.
I went to the Vanic concert last night and was over charged for drinks. They have you pay with card and dont give you a receipt. I got 5 mixed drinks of whiskey and choice of mixer which are supposed to be 9$ each and one shot that was supposed to be 10$ according to the drink menu thats supposed to add up to 55$. My card was charged 79$...
Super grateful to have a EDM club in Dallas like this, especially compared to other clubs in the area. Tickets prices are almost always reasonable, they make constant updates to the venue, the recent upgrades to the lighting and sound are amazing. Staff is always kind and courteous. Security is there not to screw you over but keep you safe, and the constant police presence that stays outside the venue keeps the building safe in an otherwise somewhat not safe area of Dallas. No crazy BS dress code like clubs in Vegas or LA. This place is definitely run by people who are passionate about the electronic music scene.
Best EDM venue in Dallas. New light & sound system is phenomenal. Have been to many shows here and the crowds usually range from not too bad to pretty good depending on the DJ. On average much better/more respectful crowds than the other DFW venues Ive been to. Love that they have free water coolers at the bars too
The club was easily accessible from the parking lot. Security staff was very cordial and professional. The club sounded amazing, lots of energy. Drinks were strong and reasonably priced. I will definitely make this club a regular experience 👍👌
Great venue, just wish the upstairs view wasnt obstructed by the lighting system. Plus it aint in a great part of Dallas. Other than that, good sound and stage, plus great service. Not this last visit, but for Datsik a couple years ago, power was knocked out at the venue, and after it was restored at 10pm, they handled it all very well getting us in and the show on the road. Apashe freakin killed it tonight! Ymir and Waisu were on point too! Fantastic show tonight!
The new renovated bathroom is great and all but none of the bathroom stall doors even close, literally not a single one. All so poorly designed. LOL Despite this, I never have a bad time at stereo live. Great sound and stage
The best concert experience in Dallas! Place is super chill. No overbearing security. The crowd tends to be well behaved and a lot of fun. Great place to see techno, house, and other EDM shows!
Afrojack was awesome lastnight! Sara Brisby and Jeffrey, both staff members, showed excellent customer service! They were professional, friendly, and helpful. The staff were all great, the bartenders were on point and the drinks were poured perfectly. I highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting to party and have a great time!!
Drinks are overpriced and the place could use some sanitizing and cleaning. Since the Lizard Lounge closed, this is where most djs perform at - which sucks cause the location is not the best. Also, parking is a hassle sometimes. Make sure to buy a parking pass if available or you’re SOOL lol
Great place but they overcharge for drinks. The menu clearly states the prices. I purchased 9 dollar drinks for 2 so obviously 18 bucks.. I was charged 28 for each round. Unacceptable.
