Strokers Ice House

This is probably the coolest bar in Dallas.The feel of it just reminds you of Dallas back when everything was fun. The bike store/ museum next to the bar is just as good.And dont leave without trying the fried bologna sandwich.

Always drive by it, never stopped in until today for some lunch. Pretty cool place and the food was great. Burger was 5 star, service was great and the place has plenty to do while you hang out for a drink or grab some food. Lots of parking around.

Strokers is a great place to end a memorial ride. Lots of room for lots of events and riders.Rick and the team serve up some darn good greezy-spoon burger and fries with Ice cold beer and a full bar to wash it down with. Out back you will find an old-school vibe with biker only parking scattered around near the outdoor picnic tables next to the Ice House, a party deck above, live bands on an outdoor stage, an old school bus to gang out by, then past all that are shops for jewelry, bling, patches & sewing.Oh, did I mention Strokers also has the best service centers and customizing shops around? Visit the store for some merch and you will see a museum of bikes Rick Fairless has been doing for decades. He is the original custom bike builder and one cool dude. He still stops into the shop.

This is a premium biker hang out, but also leans toward being a family atmosphere where kids are welcome too. Rick Fairless makes sure families are welcomed and you will see Rick walking around kinda monitoring the areas. The food is great as well, especially the fried bologna sandwiches and chicken wings... You will not get any better bar tenders. They are friendly, good at what they do, and service is pretty fast for the amount of people that come during the weekends... Saturdays and Sundays are pretty busy, but dont let that stop ya from going... Youll have a GREAT time whenever you go to STROKERS DALLAS...👍👍👍

I’ve always liked Strokers Rick Fairless keeps it running. Really smooth with the help of all of the great employees. Cooks bartenders really good people throughout the whole place. I enjoy my visit every time I go. I can’t wait to get there. I was greeted with a hug or a handshake in the live band there do a great job. Keep us tapping our toes and sipping our beers. The tall good looking Redhead is bartending today. Shes the best !!!Update 3/3/24 If youve never had a fried bologna sandwich, you need to try one here! The bologna is cut as thick as a 1/4 lb. Hamburger patty. And, the onion rings here are great!

Best burgers around, service is amazing. I had a jiffy stand customized due to fat tire install. Can’t tell u how quick they took care of my problem. Totally looks stock but isn’t. Get ur bike repaired while having a beer and a burger?? Don’t get no better! Strokers is an excellent bike shop along with a great bar!

Love going to Strockers and hanging out on my days off when Im back home in Texas! Great friendly people there its a great place to party! I look forward to hanging out next time Im back home!

Incredible Harley ride experience with my brother, his partner, and friends! It is the place to take a break from the city and be astonished by the variety of motorcycles on display and the incredibly friendly and charismatic people that visit the place! We enjoy American nibbles nothing more than burgers and delicious hot dogs with French fries✨ The shop was closed, so I am having an excuse to come back✨❤️

Not only the Ice House but also the bike showroom and store and service department, and the bar and the live music keeps the whole place humming. Its just a nice place to sit relax and watch the people and bikes come and go. Its a must go to place for anyone looking for a wholesome social atmosphere. Enjoy.

Brought my bike in today for an inspection, had a beer when it was all said and done. Lady at the sales counter was an absolute sweetheart, the guys in the service department were...all business, and the bartenders were awesome. Awesome one stop shop for all my motorcycle needs.

Very cool place for Motorcyclists. Many custom bikes to see and purchase. Outdoor seating. Great place to meet other riders. Many custom accessories, t shirts. Any time does items too. Had a good time.

Very interesting place. I just stopped by to take pictures. I found it on roadside America and I just wanted to see the different things they had outside. They were not open yet so I asked the lady if I could just take some pictures. Hopefully if Im in the area again I can check it out.

If you love bikes, then you MUST visit Strokers! It has a fun and eclectic atmosphere with great food and music. Rick, the owner, is super friendly and so is his entire staff. His bike store is also on the property if you need custom bike parts, cool attire, or even a new bike! Be sure to stop by this legendary establishment when youre in the DFW area.

Fun! They actually have great food - got the Marilyn Monroe sandwich and they made a ham and cheese even though it wasnt on the menu. Fair prices on beer. Great service. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Pool tables. Stage in the back with live music. Its a great place to bring your kids to bring your bikes to bring your car. Its a fun biker bar, reminds me of South Austin. Going back for sure.

If you like a home town, local biker bar then this is the place for you. Loved the outside stage and band. Very unique decor. You need to visit just to see all of the decor outside.. very cool.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere I met up with my cousin and his wife when they came to town. We had lunch and some beers. I enjoyed the Hank Williams Grilled Cheese sandwich with the Onion Rings..........it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and then checked out the bike shop next door where I picked up a couple of super cute tank tops that I can’t wait to wear. I definitely want to go back again on a Saturday or evening just to see all the bikes that show up. For a girl whose never been on a motorcycle before it’s definitely in MY BLOOD ever since I was little. 😁

Had to update this review as I got to host a group of 20 today and we had a blast. The menu has so much going in that just talking about the burgers isnt enough. The grilled cheese offerings make mouth water just typing this update.Got to hang with the legend himself today and added a pic for proof. Had to let the hair down and grab a tye dye t shirt to go with this beautiful day on the patio.This is my go to watering hole! Ice cold beer! Delish burgers and grub. The vibe is different every night with a theme for everyone. Take some time to explore the grounds and make sure to say Hello to Rick to get the tour. So many amazing bikes and choppers to see and art on every wall.Don’t be intimated if you are and not a biker. This place is amazing for everyone. Tip: check out the Grateful Dead tour bus. Fun night and beautiful weather hanging out with friends in the back lot. Lots of cool, colorful statues to shoot and a nice rooftop with sunset view. Staff was friendly and drinks were good.

The gal at the counter provided excellent service today! I wanted a face shield for my helmet this afternoon and she went above and beyond to find one and put it on my helmet for me (its not easy-her brother had to remove a part for me as well). Cant say enough about how friendly and kind she was! Come visit the store! :)

The owner is a T V celebrity, Yet hes humble enough to come out and visit with his patrons. Also got a great motorcycle mechanic shop.

We didnt go to the bar side of it. But we will be coming back for a live concert. Vicky was super cool. She printed me off a calendar of all the live bands coming. It was like a museum of motorcycles. A lot of photo ops. I got a great deal on some cute jewelry. I definitely will be back for some entertainment.

What a fun place! Biker serious folks, and I felt welcome as a complete outsider with my biker friend. Pop up sales booths in the yard have some interesting items. Again, not all of it was biker exclusive. Its a classic biker bar that has been here many, many years.

As always, great people that share the biker lifestyle, live music, outdoor stage, bike corral, good service by the ladies. Pretty good bar food. Small cigar selection in case you forgot yours:) Good motorcycle clothing store next door.

OMG! What isnt great here? If youre hungry give the buffalo burgers try, if youre peckish order the chicken poppers!! Always great service!! Ricks crew is amazing from the staff at the ice house to going next door and drooling at all the options. Seriously, find yourself here soon!!

I sat at the bar so I could just get in and out. There were several people behind the bar and not one of them was concerned about customer service. The bartender gave me my food but did not offer napkins or ketchup had to get them myself. The bartender doesn’t like to make eye contact with the customers. The person sitting next to me said you will have to ask for your check as she won’t just give it to you. Overall, the food was good but not a reason to go back. There was an elderly women behind the bar that might have been one of the original servers when the place opened as she was only concerned about what was going on her phone. I won’t be back to this place but they have some nice bikes next door.

Always enjoy going there... its a long way from my home and the. Dallas traffic on a motorcycle is awful...which keeps me from going as much...wish theyd make a strokers 2 outside the Dallas city limits

A great biker bar w some real characters, a huge outdoor space, where u ride ur moto into the party area. Great band there as well Bailie & The Panthers...a real fun time especially for moto enthusiasts.

Loved the music choices playing, busy but service was nice and food didnt take overly long considering they were packed. Unsure if it was weekend normal bike rally or something special going on. Burger was on point, grilled chicken Janis Joplin was a bit dry but hey its chicken and hard to not dry it in general. Would return for the burger and recommend you give it a go 👍

This place is a classic. Friendly folks, great music on some days. Interesting folks hanging out. U need to go at least once just to say youve been...but if U go once you will probably go back.

This place is super cool! They have cheap beer and some great burgers. The burgers have nice and thick patties and the buns are toasted. The tots were hot and crispy! I highly recommend stopping in this place for the views and the foods! Live music, a patch and leather seamstress, a bike shop and store and so much more. The have a couple pool tables and arcade games that Ill definitely be back for too!

Cool place but dont play the video slots because they dont pay cash they give you store credit to get a keychain at their gift shop big thumbs down

This was my first time here. I came to see my husbands band Thin White Line play, although it was VERY hot, I had a good time. The place is way bigger than I was expecting! Lots of beautiful bikes too!

I wasnt able to hangout there very long, I was with a friend that was dropping his car off to get it detailed.But for the short time I was there I find it to be awesome.I definitely plan on going back when I can spend more time there its an awesome place.There are some BADASS bikes there!

Sprawling bar (BIG outdoor area) with a really good bar menu for food. Had the double Stroker burger for lunch and it was cooked perfectly. Will need to go back there again for evening fun.

I really love this place n have been following Rick on f.b .fist weekend off n was thinking of going for a burgar.i will come by .but the 6.00 $$$ for fries or tots I cant really afford it .but will come in n have a cold drink no food .But I love Rick n his family n love the atmosphere. Just cant do a lunch there this time .Maybe when Im better .I loved seeing curly his grandson .So down to earth n good people. Thats what I need as Im battering stage 3 breast cancer. Mim

I ride my bike there not only for the vibe and great people, but I like going to the store next to it, look at all the bad azz bikes for sale. Shop for gear and apparel. They have beautiful girls selling beer on ice outside where the band is playing. Its really a fun place to go and hang out. Talk to other riders, share stories about trips and bikes. Holland...

Since I was told about this place, its become a 2nd church. Rick is a great, down to earth American Entrepreneur who does what he loves with his loving family. The atmosphere is rowdy and respectful, the food is fantastic-Bandit Burger every time- and if you got some money to burn, the parts store is happy to help.

This place is just like home. Everyone is welcoming. The food is great and the drinks never end. The customers are amazing and engaging. Belive it or not its family friendly so yeah bring the kiddos.

Simply great. Food is straightforward, burgers, dogs, fries, chips. Food is consistently excellent from visit to visit. All the wait staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is casual. If you are bike fan at all, this is the place for you.Especially on the weekend, you never know whom or what will show up. Go next door to take a look at the new and pre-owned bikes they have to offer. This is a great place for a Saturday if youre a regular or a must stop if youre a visitor.

If you ride bikes this is a must. Several bars and restaurants inside the compound. Also a shop with lots of custom bikes. The beers were cold and the food was great.

Great place to go and have fun. Have great T-Shirts and merch.Gave them 2 starts because took bike to get serviced and drove off and the next morning had oil under my bike. Oil filter was not tightened and was 2 full turns loose. Good thing I caught before it was any worse.

Nice open area for hanging out. This was my first time going there, I ordered mushrooms! Delicious! Our group was the majority of the crowd tonight, so it turned out to be a nice outing on a pleasant night.

Wow great place I know it’s kind of a bar scene but it is a wonderful place with great food and an exciting environment the motorcycle shop next door was amazing to go through and look at all the custom built bikes the owner and builder is there ready to greet you and ask how’s your trip and genuinely wants to know

Service was fast and friendly. The burgers were freshly made and tasted great. Inside the store the staff was friendly and helpful. There was so much to look at, I enjoyed all the custom bikes.

Had a take out order. Even though I live a good 20 mins away they hadn’t even started it when I arrived. They said it would be 10 minutes. It took about half an hour. When I got the order I was missing a whole meal and they tried to argue that it wasn’t what I ordered. It took about an hour to get my complete order and leave.

This is the best place to buy a motorcycle.

Im just not sure I can warm up to here. The place is great for bikers to come and hangout. They have great events, the owners and staff are great. It just gets very busy and loud to where you cant have a conversation with someone without yelling. We still come visit every once and a while. Just not our place by to hang out regularly.

Tasty food. Friendly service. Live music on weekends is a bonus! Amazing motorcycles for sale and cool t-shirts too.

I love this place! Ive been coming here on a weekly basis for a few months now. The food is top notch. Its a bit slow to come out, but theres plenty of friendly people to pass the time with.Theyre events are a definitely a great thing to participate in. And the show room is a must see for sure.

Went for Born Free TX pre-party. Waited in line 30min for a beer, but atmosphere was amazing!!

No problems with anyone, everyone was laid back and cool.. A friends bike had a bad regulator and a dude in the shop helped jump it off with their jump box a couple times.. Good deal, it all went great

Just left from there. Looking at his bike collection is amazing. Im from Kansas City, Kansas Area. Think I just found who is going to build my next bike. Going back for lunch when they open.

Pretty relaxed atmosphere. Live band and dancing. My only downfall was a few drunk guys revving their motorcycles over and over. Im a army veteran with two tours and i dont like loud noises. Other than that , everything cool.

I understand that hours of operation are subject to change but the night i called ahead and understood that closing time was 2am. But after i arrived to have some drinks and play pool on your very nice tables...i asked the bartender what time is closing she stated that it was midnight or 12. But this misunderstanding will not discourage me from visiting your establishment. I did have fun for the hour that I had to play pool.

Always a good time when I go here, generous pours on shots and a really nice selection of different beers to chose from. Every weekend there is live music and a ton of motorcycle parking.

I had a blues brother burger. It was good. The band was great. RJB band sounded great.

Its an old Dallas staple if you have a Harley-Davidson or if you just want to go check it out man they have an excellent the menu small but its really good food the beers always cold they got pool tables man its always a really cool atmosphere you get to see all kinds of cool different Harley small different years and just a lot of fun man.

How can you not stop for a beer at this place after scoping some excellent bikes. Its a great venue for music, a comfortable hang and mediocre salsa and chips? Its a worthwhile stop.

I have been going to Strokers since I moved here in 2009, i have always enjoyed going there great food, awesome bands, and some of the most beautiful bikes you can find. I love this place!!!!

I was thrilled to be able to visit this landmark on an afternoon have a drink, and people/bike watch. I am an older lady whose son and husband ride. A dear friend took me for my birthday. WOW! It is eye candy for a bikers lady. They have an accessories and gift shop as well.

As always, Strokers never lets me down. The food and the staff are amazing. Thetws live music Friday night, Sat & Sun afternoons. Best part is watching the bikes ride in.

You ride between the bike shop and roadhouse like driving in to the bat cave to find covered bike parking, outside tables, stages, an old bus thats an outside bar, rooftop area, bike wash, a little accessory shop, a professional seemstress for patches and stuff. Its like a mini bike-rally. Idk about all the food cause I keep getting the Blues Bros Burger. Best blue cheese burger in town! Love this place.

Dropped in after picking up a family friend at Dallas Love...enjoyed the live music, good service, and Harleys to ogle. Had a blast!

Great biker bar. I went in wearing slacks, dress shirt and wing tips one day after work and was accepted as if I was a regular at the place. Friendly staff, patrons and Rick Fairless was there and was just as friendly as everyone else. I would recommend abyone stop in and visit Strokers Ice House. The entire Strokers complex is an eccentric and unique place to visit. Spring Fling is a blast. You wont be dissappointed!

Best biker bar in the DFW area. Great place to ride to and relax for beer, food and meet nice people. Ricks custom bikes are awesome and wild looking

Great first visitWe had a nice time out in the patio area and drinking cold ones.I give three stars only because it was our first. We intend to go back on a weekend with friends.

Chances are I wont be going there again.. I believe they take care of the regular customers better than they do somebody new in the door seems like theyve got somewhat of an attitude..Food is way over priced anyway...and takes forever to get it

I just came to get my patches sewn on my vest. But it looks like an amazing hangout. Tons of bike parking, bar, stores, vendors, a stage for bands! Totally awesome place.

Nice alcohol selection. Usually have events going on. Friendly bartenders. Food menu is limited but good. Typical bar food. Popular among the biker crowd.

I wasnt too sure about this peculiar place but I really enjoyed it! The drink specials are great! The bartenders are super friendly and the scenery/decor is definitely something to talk about!

Super chill Ice House that is still an actual ice house. Not bougie at all. Has a pool table. The vibe is really modern, has a good attraction for the biker culture. Service is outstanding. Montez was sweet and really knows how to make drinks.

Be awere when you pay cash .,they take money for tip ahead without permission when you get your change back and there is no way you can argue there .,plus the tip that you leave .,its nice to go and the burgers are dam good .,just be aware of the waitresses

If you like motorcycles, this is the place. It has everything for your needs from motorcycles to service to food to entertainment. Great owner and great staff. If this place doesnt have what you need, do you really need it?

Rick is a great person to talk to, and as a 1%Dr the place was really layed back. Been to a lot of places but this is by far the best place to go get drunk and buy a super nice bike.
