I really like it here. Out in thecountry nice and quiet. It was avery nice place to get away fromthe busyness from the big city. Thestaff was very friendly and helpful.The price was amazing and theplace was charming. 1 will definitelycome back for a getaway
I appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience caused by what your customers say, and my choosing to pass on staying at what sounds like a roadside dump.When you have so many reviews saying almost the same negative things, maybe it is the hotel staff and service that is willfully choosing to be the problem.I understand your frustration regarding customers expecting good, normal, reasonable customer service. I deeply regret the confusion caused by this non-customer and assure you that I will address this issue promptly by choosing not to stay here.I was captivated by your rates and was set to book 3 days, every other week, indefinitely because of travel, until I read the reviews.I was even willing to ignore what I originally was looking at as a bunch of Karens complaining, so I could save some money. I was wrong. I apologize for that assumption.I was willing to stay because all I needed was a bed and a shower 3 nights every other week. There were no Karens here complaining, just people feeling like they were being ripped off. Plus I was afraid my flip flops would stick to the floor.To assist you further, please consider firing your staff since they seem to be the problem. Consider selling the hotel to honest hard working owners so that they can turn this place into a hidden gem in this great state and fine city.Once again, please accept my sincere apologies for me choosing to not come here at all. It looks and sounds like a real hole.Thank you, the customers, for bringing this to our attention. Service matters. Especially when there is an open forum to talk about it. Think about that with every reservation and person that walks in the door.
This location is a ✨cat fish✨. Looks nothing like the photos and looks nothing like other OYO hotels. The service was absolutely terrible. When I first arrived there was NO ONE in the office or anywhere to be found. With no phone number directly contacting the office I ended up having to just honk my horn until someone showed up. I had traveled 3 hours with an infant and I couldn’t keep him in the car any longer. When the employee finally came around and checked me in she said I would have to pay another fee which I don’t understand what for but I wasn’t going to fight. This is the WORST location and the WORST hotel I’ve ever been to. Crickets EVERYWHERE and crawling under door to get it. No smoking room but there’s cig burns in the blanket. Please do NOT book here. 😭
The worst stay in my life. Dirty bed with hairs 🤢🤮The lady at reception gave me “cleaner” and I changed it by myself. Still not look or smell clean. I couldnt use towels. 20 minus before check out time, they already start to knock in doors “check out! Check out!”Never again. I would better take a nap in the car next time than use this hotel chain again.
Worst hotel to be ever had to stay in. These people need to be shut down. They stole our deposit because we left a piece of ice on the comforter. The lady said she had to clean the piece of ice up. The linen is as stained up. Have you ever heard of bleach people? No housekeeping at all. Heater only blew cold air. Management refused to give me deposit and claimed they weren’t management. The only cockroaches I seen was the staff!
I booked the room using their app. 200 for 5 days. I said deal. They say pet friendly but no where on the app or website can you add your pets on the booking for the price. Get all the way there after I paid for the booking. They told me 20 bucks more per pet per night. Thats 200 more. So I could not do it bc I wasnt quoted online 400 bucks since they do not add the pet fee in. I asked for my refund and was told no. I asked for employee i.d. number I was told no. Wth!!!! I need my refund... this is illegal and its robbery!
I booked online through Expedia for a Queen, nonsmoking room. I arrived at 730 pm, after driving since 3am from Florida. I got told that only smoking rooms were available. I said that wasn’t acceptable. I was given two options- go into a smoking room and change rooms after 930 pm or come back at that time, “after someone checked out and I can change the room over”. I wasn’t informed of this until after I had filled out the paperwork to “check in “ though. I left and found a different hotel. Upon calling the number in the app, given for changes/modifications to reservations, I connected with an OYO worker, only to spend 20 minutes going round and round being told that #1) she had no authority to do anything for me, #2) I didn’t book a nonsmoking room, as their system didn’t say that(regardless of what my paperwork said) #3) she kept insinuating that I was ignorant and didn’t know what I was talking about while trying to explain to her that I followed instructions in my Expedia for help. Thankfully Expedia got everything refunded. I will never use OYO AGAIN!
Room ok but got just 2 1/2hours early before check in cost extra 20 bucks didnt want to wait so went ahead and paid it but all rooms were open so no sense in charging extra.
They priced me at $30 bucks a night, and was surprised to find it wasnt that bad. However keep in mind to have your money straight when paying in cash, its best to come prepared.
This will be our last stay at this shabby hotel. The lady is very rude. Our toilet would not flush and she plunged it and just walked out of the room.The door always have a big gap in them. The towels and washcloths have stains on them. They are tattered and torn. This is my 2nd bad review and you would think they would have improved. We didnt feel very safe in our room. People are loud outside and hearing through the walls.The one good thing I can say is the a/c is nice and cold. We will never stay here again!! Nasty Place and run down. Do not waste your money!!
Its definitely a one star hotel. Upon arrival at check in the manager tried to tell me to give her $20 cash for a deposit that was refunded upon check out as long as room is clean. I informed the older woman that I booked everything online it was already paid. Also that I never carry cash. Immediately knew she was trying to scam me out of money. Especially asking for cash. She also told me her credit card machine wasnt working. Which also seems suspect. But I told her it didnt matter my stay was paid in full online. When she seen I wasnt backing down she said Just dont mess up the room After checking in she told me she wanted to put a table in my room. Room 108 then had the audacity to ask me to help her carry it to my room after driving 4 hours from Houston. Im not really confrontational so I actually helped her carry it. I will also be going on the company website to try to get in contact with someone in the corporate office. If you are a person that gets scammed easy dont stay here or deal with this woman AT ALL. I can clearly see she uses that position at the motel for personal gain and would try to add stuff on to get you to give her cash she can keep, on top of her salary.Now as far as the room goes. It was more then I expected for a two star motel. The room was clean I had a nice set of fresh towels. All the lights worked so did the smoke detector and AC. I was pleasantly surprised that the shower actually got HOT. Not just luke warm like most 2 star places. If you blink youll miss the driveway for the motel. The driveway is a steep hill. Oh and the pool was completely empty and the pool equipment had grass and weeds growing through it. I really didnt expect much for the pice though. But did not expect the front desk woman to try to hustle me for $20.
I booked a room with the above-mentioned company and was unable to stay for my purchased itinerary. Upon check in, they informed me that there was a non-refundable pet deposit and weekly pet rent that was not disclosed in their booking procedures. When I questioned the policy, the clerk got irate and told me that if I didn’t like it to find another hotel. She had a sign posted stating that refunds would only be given within 5 minutes of check in and only after the guest had entered the room. I paid the deposit and rent and went to the room. Upon entering the room, it was disgusting. There was feces on the floor in the bathroom and when I questioned her about it, she told me that the bathrooms were not working and she wouldn’t be getting anyone to check it until the following Monday, 3 days away. I wasn’t able to get any good photos of the bathroom because the lights also didn’t work. I told her that this was unacceptable, and I wanted to cancel my reservation and get my money back. She told me that she would refund the money, but I had to start the process with the online booking agent that I used to book the room. After reaching out to Priceline, I was told that she refused the refund and told them that she wasn’t going to entertain me because I had actually stayed at the hotel. This is not the truth, yet Priceline didn’t give me any chance to refute that, nor did they even attempt to reach back out to me until 3 weeks after the incident. I didn’t utilize the room and I should be refunded for the money that I spent to book the room. I followed Priceline’s cancellation policy and called within the appropriate timeframe which is recorded and logged on both my side and Priceline’s, and even agreed to lose the one night’s rent according to their policy, but yet they still refuse.
Pretty sure this place just tried to scam me. I paid online through hopper for Dec. 1st- Dec 2nd. I show up the 1st and get told that the room I had booked had plumbing issues. The older lady told me that hopper would refund me. I asked her how that could happen if they don’t know the situation and to them I booked a room no problem. She then follows by saying come back tomorrow and I’ll get the room. I went and got another hotel.I show up at 1 on Dec 2nd. The lady gives me my key, I go unpack in my room and change clothes followed by leaving for a few hours. I come back and within 2 minutes a loud bang and hello. I answer and the older lady who gave me the key, is now saying they canceled my room last night. That I would need to pay for the room tonight. First they told me my money is back on my card and I asked how if my hopper account is showing “confirmed” and nothing about a cancellation. I was confused so the lady said let me go get my daughter. Then I get handed a phone saying the same thing. They cancelled my room lastnight., none of this was said to me at 1 when I checked In NOR has hopper emailed or said anything about it. She even tried to charge me more than what I paid through hopper.I got my bags and left. I knew it wasn’t the best hotel but damn, not only is poorly taken care of, the worked pull stuff like this. Anyways don’t stay here unless you have to.
I broke down in Decatur on my way to Alabama and I was referred by the Holiday Inn across the street! Honestly...., this is exactly what I needed. A family run place, friendly and clean, They even have a pool here and the beds are perfect. The rates were reasonable. I believe the owner of this location takes a great deal of pride in his interaction with his customers. I stayed one night, I stayed another,... And when I was told my repairs might take a few days.... I chose them again. Very quiet,, modest, clean, microwave, fridge, cable, phone, private toilet, storage options cool air. Kinda a dream come true. Very Affordable.... especially dealing with car repairs. Very professional, Very good experience. I recommend this location.
If I could rate this a zero I would. The rudest owners of a community establishment I have ever run across. One of the ladies who was rude to my family they called my friend racist names and was very angry and hostile she was aggressive and loud screaming at me for no reason and I just showed up so my friend could put her suit cases in my trunk . I do not recommend this as a place to stay. Avoid it at all costs. Plus it wasnt very clean or well kept. I would not sleep there, personally all I could think of was bed bugs.
This is a nice little motel for the price. After i stayed a few days through my oyo booking, i asked mike for a weekly rate and was glad that he was able to get me an even better price than my oyo booking as i was starting a new job and had very little money at the time. The rooms are a little older but i didnt mind that, was happy to have a bed and a shower at a great price. This whole family was very helpful and accommodating. Would stay again.
I am pleasantly surprised. My stay is not over with I just checked in. Granted it is small but its cozy. Its quiet and it has good TV channels. I read reviews from the past. So I didnt expect much. I dont feel springs in my bed. Seems pretty comfortable. So for right now Im giving it 5 stars.

Com for a week,this by far has been a horrible experience my sheets never were changed, the manager was cleaning the rooms and knocking on doors I left my room open I came home 5 hrs later my door was still open the young couple next door plays rap music loudly 24/7 the manager does absolutely nothing Ive had a headache for days every one has a right to peace and quiet Ive come close to calling the police a friend of mine has visited her husband is a minister at a large church here she was shocked and could over here the rap music and arguing through the walls
Very comfortable mattress, quiet, nice clean very white sheets. Its a basic place to stay but Ill stay again. Safe, nice people. My only suggestion is to have a lamp by the bed on the side table, rather than just the overhead light.
They did ask for a $20 deposit which I have been to hotel that do it but the website I book on did not say so they work with me I just lefy my id at the front desk they are super nice and the room is really cute and clean I’ll be back worth the money I spent
This place is disgusting. They will not give you a room key. The maid was pushing a walmart shopping cart. The bed is uncomfortable and stained. The smoke detecter was ripped out of the ceiling. The shower didnt work.
Staff was rude, room was disgusting and full of bugs. I left a day early. Its been a week and im still waiting on my refundable deposit. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.
If youre looking for a low rate decent place to lay your head this is a place. Fresh clean towels the rooms are clean. And everything works. If youre too good for a place like this and expect everything to be perfect for a low rate then perhaps you need to check out the more higher in hotels. They might even roll the red carpet out for you.
I would never go back here. If you need aplace to lay your head & have NO OTHERCHOICE go for it but take heed, it is on theoutskirts in a sorta country area so bugs areexpected but I had to fight bugs all nightcouldnt take a shower cause of idk what thatis & I couldnt sleep cause crickets keptgetting in my room chirping all night 🤦🏽♂️ I try to be a optimist but this place needs some renovating plus it takes forever to get your security deposit back if you don’t use cash
The room itself was fine. Nice and clean and everyone was friendly until the lady driving the white range Rover showed up. The experience ended with the police being called. Avoid this place and the range Rover lady!
Went to pay for another week and kicked us out for no reason. They barge into ur room not caring if ur dressed or not. Very very rude to customer. Young people r nice but the old ladies r extrwamly rude will not be back. Deff lost a good paying customer.
The room is ok, but I dont thank they sanitize the bathroom and tub very well I also saw hairs . I saw where someone wrote a review of this motel, and said they saw human hair on the shower walls and shower curtain. The place has also went up to more than $60 and because of that horrible OYO hotel company that has made them raise the cost up because OYO takes a lot . When it was deluxe inn it was $45. If I am go to pay over $60 it want be there.
Do not I repeat do not stay at this hotel. I made the mistake of making a reservation here but like they say “pay cheap and you’re gonna get cheap quality” but I didn’t think it’s be this bad. I asked for a non smoking room due to being pregnant and they still gave me a smoking. There was a lot of tiny spiders on the bed. Huge spider webs in the wall. We didn’t do anything to the room we just simply went to the front desk and told them we were checking out for these reason and of course those kinds of people always get offended so they started yelling saying “no we clean every room very good” we didn’t feel like fighting so we just walked out. It was so bad that I didn’t even ask for my money back I just wanted to leave that place.
Bad experience, no hot water in the shower , during the night we can hear others rooms radio and tv , bad Cleanliness my bed had a lot peoples hair on it , towels with strong smell , for the price we can expect too much , I’m not feeling comfortable. We only stay there because we’re so tired.
DO NOT STAY HERE! The “manager” was completely drunk and gave us a smoking room instead of a clean one. We asked for our money back so we could stay somewhere else and he went totally belligerent and confrontational! He Yelled at us to immediately leave (bags not even unpacked yet) and chased my wife and I to our car, demanding we give HIM Money for whatever reason. Totally drunk. We tried to get in our car and drive away but he threw himself on the hood, then threatened to break my window open and then threw open my car door! My wife was so scared, we somehow ended up getting around him and left. Called the police and everything, so whatever you do DONT stay here! They’re now on Decatur PD’s domestic violence watchlist. I hope this review saves somebody else from the terrible experience we had. Never again!
The heater in our room didnt work. We had to continuously ask for clean towels. The breaker kept flipping in our room which was concerning. Check out is 11, 12 would be better and 1 on Sundays.
This place has got to be the worst place I have ever stayed! I cant figure out how they are still legally in business... Manager goes into rooms when your not there more times then once a day staff is extremely rude and very dirty people that refuse to clean at all.Imean down to dead bugs every were. I have been sick since I been here I think the a/c has black mold in it. Hands down worse of the worst.
The owners were absolutely disrespectful in an emergency situation! Threatened to call the police on a vehicle that was not movable even though it was not on their private property. Extremely unprofessional, and were very untrustworthy. Definitely do not recommend them. They forced us to park on the side of the HIGHWAY in the middle of a rainstorm in harms way instead of allowing us to park somewhere in their EMPTY parking lot. 11/10 unrealiable in any circumstance.
Staff was rude cussed me and my brother out we paid for 2 nights they ripped us off and said we only paid for 1 night we showed them proof we paid for 2 night’s will not give us our money back called us broke and told us it was our problem
The ac did not work properly, the mini fridge was broken and unplugged. Also it has been over a week since our stay and we still have not received our deposit back.
My transmission blew on the side of the highway right in front of this place. I was half the country away from home, and had nowhere else to stay with my girlfriend and her brother. The guy behind the desk is really pissy, and looks cracked out. Very poor english. The room had one bed, the ice bucket was a large Daisys sour cream container (inside of which was a cockroach). There was a chair, completely stained in strange patterns, could be blood, urine, trucker farts.. This is where you take a cheap hooker. The chain lock on the door had been clearly ripped out. I didnt feel extremely safe. Go down the road a ways to the holiday inn.
Less than clean...bathtub was poorly patched.... noise levels were high...felt like I was in the ghetto....outside was nice with the gardens...pool was empty....
This place is very unfair and lies. They promised a refund and kept the 600.00 dollars. Its ok to do whatever at the hotel as long as you have an I’d, but if you lost it before checking in, they keep all your money and not the typical cancellation fee. It’s very upsetting and Total robbery!!!!!
Horrible. Too high priced, especially for the Old out dated appliances, no amenities and dirty stained sheets. Definitely a roach motel. Eeew. I only picked 1 star because there is not a numerical negative choice to pick.

Very clean and convenient. Has been updated with tile floors and new paint. The sheets were very clean and smelled good.

My nephew never got to stay at this place they took advantage of a disabled person I booked him a hotel room for two weeks he was unable to find his identification the lady on the phone said we could cancel and get a refund it’s been a month and we still have not received the $654 refund I have sent two letters to the corporate office and also to the Hotel I spoke to the lady at the hotel who was really nice and said we supposed to receive a full refund but we have not received it yet every time I call the number that they gave me they tell me we will escalate your call and then one lady hung up on me she just sat on the phone for five minutes and then she finally just hung up the phone in the face I am still trying, my next step may have to be small claims court and I will ask Oyo to pay court cost as well.

Do not stay here. Place is not well kept. It has now been 2 months of me trying to contact them to get my security deposit back for 2 rooms and still no luck. Each time I finally get someone to answer, once I say why I am calling they hang up.
For the area of this hotel is in please do not waste your time on it as advertised at $33 this hotel should be considered overpriced from terrible customer service to bed bugs bites in unsanitary rooms I dont understand why anybody would come here twice

The maid service is lousy the towels are dirty its an no carpet and they will not sweep your floors I have dead bugs all over my floor the walls are thin the clientele thats here at the motel or very low life I have people banging on my door that I do not know because theyre too drunk I wish I was at Telstar motel here in Decatur Texas it might look dumpy but the owner will not put up with drunks and drugs he will kick you out if you are doing drugs and being rude and drunk
