Natural Body Spa Decatur

Saw a post in the window of Natural Body Spa a couple of weeks ago - 15 minute chair massage for $20. Scheduled an appointment and had a great experience. I had a lot of knots and tension in my shoulders and upper back. Lee, the massage therapist, was great. Could definitely tell a difference for the better in my neck and shoulders.

I had a massage here with Jess and it was the best massage ever! He knew exactly where my muscles were holding tension and was able to release a lot of it. He is very attentive and made me feel comfortable the whole appointment. I will definitely be booking him in the future!!

I recently had my third visit to this location and for the third time in a row, I had a stellar experience. The staff is kind and warm and the atmosphere is both calm and calming. Every massage therapist I’ve worked with so far has been amazing (Cody, Lari, and Reggie). Everyone has their personal touch and each is attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this Decatur location!

The service and customer service here is always exceptional. The eminence products are phenomenal. Jess did my massage and Amber did my facial. The sweet pregnant lady that checked me out was a breath of fresh air as well. Ill definitely be back.

I always get absolutely wonderful services from Natural Body Spa. I had been walking around for more than a week with shoulder pain so bad that it was affecting my sleep and work. Anthony fixed me right up! He even suggested some exercises I could do in between massages. You won’t regret your visit here!

Kinda a bummer to book a togetherness massage and then be sent to two different rooms. The massage itself was good. Definitely a different massage experience than any others I’ve had

I got a massage with Jess and he was amazing! He had such positive vibes and made me feel safe and comfortable while giving me a massage that catered to my body’s needs specifically. Very intentional and effective. 10/10 :)

I had an excellent Brazilian Wax today by Tamika. She was Awsome from beginning to end . I was nervous about the pain, however, the nerves soon subsided mainly due to her expertise in waxing. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for excellent customer service, as well. That goes a long way with customers. Kudos!!

Lari is my wonderful massage therapist. I usually ask for a 90 minute heated stones massage - which is relaxing and fabulous. I always have some sinus congestion, so Lari suggested a 30 minute sinus relief massage first, then followed by a 60 minute heated stone massage. Perfect !

Not the fanciest place (no robes or heated bed) but WOW what a great massage. deep tissue massage was relaxing but still very tough. 10/10 would recommend. Cody was my therapist!

The massage was great! No complaints at all. Lance was awesome!My facial was okay. The products did not feel as high end as other facials I have gotten. My main compliant was she did not massage while my mask was sitting, she just sat there. In every facial I have received, the arms and hands are massaged while the mask sets in for 5-10 min.I would come back for a massage, would go elsewhere for a facial.

I love this location! Ke and Cody were amazing - I don’t think I’ve been this relaxed in years. I’ll absolutely be back.

Highly recommend Natural Body. I’ve been going to the morningside location for years. This is my first time for the Decatur location. And it was wonderful. Lari did my massage and scrub and totally had me falling asleep. And Angel did my facial and just made my skin glow. Highly recommend those ladies.

This was my second time going to Natural Body spa, and I have to say I am satisfied with the experience, it’s a clean and serene environment, perfect for a spa. My facial therapist was Ke and she was very pleasant and knowledgeable about my concerns as well as a good conversationalist. She also made some really good suggestions to keep my skin healthy and looking it’s best. I would definitely recommend a visit to Natural Body Spa.

I treated myself to their Oxygen Facial as a special treat for my birthday month. Ive enjoyed facials here before and massages and always have a great experience. This facial is on ANOTHER LEVEL! My estatechian Tamika gave me a glow up that had me doubting the mirror when she had me take a look! This facial has NOTICABLE RESULTS and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone who has a special event coming or wants to treat themselves as special to try this. I was blown away. I am not one for selfies, but my friends were sent a few ASAP.Thanks so much for making my self care SENSATIONAL.

For years, Ive enjoyed sending my wife here for special occasions. In the past, shes had a very good experience. This time was different. She did not receive the type of massage I ordered or for the amount of time I scheduled. Also, they usually serve her tea before the massage and provide her with some product samples when she leaves (especially when it is her birthday). None of this happened. I understand that the tea and samples are icing on the cake, but they made the experience memorable and special. I am more disappointed in the service she received with her massage.

From the moment you enter, this spa offers the perfect serene atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, expert technicians and total ambiance for a relaxing and healing massage experience. The waiting area is cozy and hints at what awaits you. My room had soft lighting, gentle music with nature sounds, a slightly heated massage bed with soft sheets and blanket. Lance provided a deep tissue massage that was exactly what I requested and more, leaving me in a magical relaxed state.

Aesha was a wonderful therapist and really helped me with my problem area (shoulder). The facility is super relaxing, clean and welcoming.Update after 6/6/24 visit: This was my third massage at the spa and my second facial. My massage was lovely. However, my facial was not. The girl who did my facial seemed rushed and she exfoliated WAY too hard and long. I wish I had spoken up when it happened, but I didnt. She mentioned my face turned red during my facial, which happens to me so no big deal. However, after finishing the facial and seeing my face my whole face was tomato red. I have been getting monthly facials for the past two years and my face has never been red like this before. I will definitely not be getting a facial from here again, however my massages have been great and I do recommend them for that.

Aisha gave me a full body message. It was the relaxing and gentle experience I’ve ever had. She concentrated a lot on my areas of pain, which I really needed. Tatiana gave me an amazing facial. It felt so good and soothing. I felt like jello after 2 hours. This was my 1st spa experience and I will definitely come back and ask for these 2 sweet and gentle speaking ladies again!! This was beyond what I thought it would! I love Natural body Spa and everyone here. They made me feel like a different person.

Ive been here a few times and enjoy getting the signature massage. Prices are fair in my wallets opinion. My last massage was with Lance and it was amazing.If youve been skipping on this part of self care, I say in the words of my trainer - Treat yourself, dont cheat yourself.

I had a 60-minute massage that was provided by Megan, and she was amazing!!! She seemed to recognize my problem areas where I carry most of my stress in tension. The massage cleared my mind and left me feeling relaxed and refreshed. My BFF and I also had facials and opted for the “dermaplaning”. I cannot say this facial did anything spectacular for me. We were able to conclude from our skin tone, type, and lack of wear and tear that we only needed a simple scrub and exfoliation. I’d suggest the Estheticians take a little time to evaluate the customer’s skin first, then suggest the ideal services versus selling an unnecessary product that could result in losing a customer. I know I will go back again for a massage with Megan.

This was my first visit but will not be my last. The staff was friendly. I felt like royalty on my birthday. My facial with Alexis was heavenly. Thank you.

Jess was an amazing therapist. At first I was nervous about having a guy (I am used to female massage therapists) but Jess was amazing and exceeded my expectations. He gave me a great massage and he did acupressure points where I needed to release stagnant energy. He was very respectful and gentle. It was great and I will definitely be coming back. So grateful thank you ! :)

Lari and the staff were absolutely the most warm and professional Spa team Ive met. They were courteous and knowledgeable and made the experience just what I needed. I came in on wheels and fire and they immediately had me calm and totally whoo saa in no time! I have been a customer for many years. Today, a plastic garbage bag was laid out on the table for me to lay down on. It was odd, uncomfortable, and not at all a good experience.

I had an amazing, relaxing experience! Anthony was very professional. Felt like I was floating afterwards. Ive been to plenty of spas all over the place and I can highly recommend this one. The cost was reasonable too.

I got a 60 minute massage with a 30 minute exfoliating & moisturizing treatment and it was wonderful! Lari pampered me and I felt very well taken care of. The staff at this spa are so friendly and welcoming, I had such a great experience! They have some great items in their shop, too, including Eminence products, which I am always happy to find! Aesha was great. I had a pain in my neck for months. She diligently and carefully worked an area in my neck until I received relief. I am so thankful.

I received a deep tissue massage and dry brush (as an ad-on) and it was absolutely amazing! Cindy was incredible…I’m in post surgery and have lymph nodes that needed extra care. Cindy understood completely what to do and was even able to teach me how to do it mysel! I can’t say enough great things about my experience! Great service, friendly staff, beautiful, clean, relaxing environment!

This is my second time at this location the first time was great. Anthony was my therapist the first time, he was outstanding. Furthermore, my second time going was terrible. My therapist was yawning extremely loud! Breathing loud.. and he even didnt spend thorough time on my back area. The massage was rushed! I cannot remember his name. I just remember he was Caucasian male with lip ring. Awful experience.

This was my first time trying out this spa. I have to say that my massage was beyond awesome if you go make sure you ask for Tina. I also had a facial done by Tamika she did a great job all the staff were very friendly and professional. The only thing that I didnt like was the fact that you have to pay for parking if you are having Services done over 2 hours. Ive included a pic of there waiting area they do offer water and hot tea.

Watch for unauthorized charges. I booked an appointment online, my credit card was charged $125. I unfortunately had to cancel because I was in a horrible car accident. I canceled well within the 24 hour window. I called and they confirmed that I was due a refund and it would be processed. They refunded me only $70. Where is the rest of my money?? I called repeatedly and the manager Kai will not respond. I have to now dispute charges with my bank. Do not give them your credit card information at Decatur. They also are not very knowledgeable about company practices in Decatur. I received a gift card from Buckhead, I called ahead of time to see if it could be used in Decatur and was told yes. I then commented to the employee “great, I just wanted to be sure”. Then the employee said “now that you mention it there was a customer here yesterday and her gift card didn’t work maybe that was the issue, yeah you can’t use that gift card here”. Two thumbs down Decatur.

Everything about this place was incredible. The customer service in booking my reservation with three friends was incredible. Renee at the front desk took such amazing care of us on check-in and checkout. Tamika “Taylor” gave me THEE BEST facial I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’ve always had a take it or leave it mindset with facials, never really feeling like they did anything great for me, but she changed my mind. My face felt incredible after a treatment with her. And I’d just gotten my hair done, she was so kind about making sure it didn’t get wet or frizzy from the steam. Jalen gave me an incredible 90 min massage. The pressure was firm and perfect for me. She practices short strokes and deep pressure points to relieve tension. Im feeling a little worked over tonight (which is totally expected and normal) and looking forward to that oooh I can move again relief in a few days. Thank you for the experience.

The masseuse I had was not the best. After about 10 minutes into the massage I asked her if “this” was the pressure she was going to use. Notice I asked her and not the other way around. I asked her to apply a little more pressure and her response was that I signed up for the signature massage. She went on to say that the signature massage calls for a light to medium amount of pressure which was a ridiculous response. I felt like she was just rubbing oil into my skin and not an actual massage. She increased the pressure some but it was not lasting. One of the areas I asked her to focus on was my back. But she worked on my back for about 20 minutes or so for a 90 minute booking. I mentioned that once she moved to my legs and she claimed she was going to return to my back. I’ve never had a masseuse move from one area, and then come back to the initial place. Towards the end she asked how was I feeling and I said that I still would have liked more pressure and she stated that next time I should get a different person because she has a “lighter touch “ and was using all of her strength. I don’t know how long she’s been in practice but her effort was minimal. On my way out I spoke to the front desk person honestly and she apologized. They did not offer any type of compensation. I did leave a tip but it was reduced. I shouldn’t have left one at all perhaps but 🤷🏾‍♀️.So needless to say , I will not be returning.Response:Didn’t want deep tissue, just a massage with normal adult pressure.

Lance is the best massage therapist in all of Atlanta. I’ve been seeing him for years because his deep tissue massage is an excellent combination of soothing and strong. He has a superior knowledge of the human anatomy and I always leave feeling ten times better than when I walked in. Highly recommend - especially for anyone under stress or working out regularly.

I experienced the oxygen rejuvenation facial and the results were amazing. Can’t wait to go again!

The staff was amazing. Ive been here before and have never had a bad experience. Today for my birthday, I got a Brazilian wax and a foot & leg massage. Tameka talked me through my wax because I had never done one before. She explained everything I should expect. Anthony made me feel very relaxed for my massage and gave me 2 leg stretches to help with tense muscles. My favorite spa

I had a great 60 min massage with Frankie. The shop is very nice and the spa section that is separate was relaxing. All the staff were very friendly! Frankie did a great job and was very thorough.

Came in for 60min Signature massage( extended to 90 min before massage started)but feel like i had deep tissue and or accupuncture. Really uncomfortable right now. Left cold and damp/wet. Hopefully reviews will facilitate performance improvement only and not reprimanding. Listen to customers verbal and nonverbal. I could not relax because of clenching and bracing from pressure, scratching/scraping ( from a ring , nail, or something). I do plan on coming back but dont want to get bad vibes/service because of review. I buy gift cards and send relatives here all the time- all have been extremely pleased.

Was not able to pick a pedicure with online app. My 60-minute massage was good eventhough my arms and hands werent done. I felt comfortable with my male representative and he did his best to relieve a specific area of pain. My eyebrow shaping was quick and comfortable. I do believe the front end attendant should become either more knowledgeable of store products or give suggestions during checkout because I used a gift card and at least $100 remaining to utilize. I had to pry information out of her.

We had a fantastic experience with massage therapists Cody and Frankie. They were kind, knowledgeable, and profesional. The spa is beautiful and front desk service super welcoming. We loved it!

Tia provided an hour of bliss as she combined a facial with an upper body massage. She has a great touch and the experience was excellent. I will return!

The massage itself was great but I’m very frustrated by 3 things. 1) They bumped my appointment time by an hour for someone else. Okay, it worked out and my plans were able to change. Things happen. But then 2) the gift card I had, which admittedly I’d received in 2019 as a gift, had depreciated by over 50 dollars because I didn’t come, which feels insane as a general rule but it feels even more insane that there was “nothing they could do” since the reason I didn’t use it was because of a global pandemic. If I’d known it had gone down that much I would have scheduled a cheaper service. Then, 3) I asked the woman at the desk specifically if they validated parking and she said it was free since it was Sunday and I asked her if the 2-hour limit counted on Sunday and she said no, I’d be fine. When I left the parking garage I was charged 10 dollars for parking. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience and decently priced because of the gift card. I just feel frustrated (instead of relaxed) and unlikely to return again because of these logistical things though again, the massage was great.

I guess I had the wrong expectations. Thought. We might discuss what products might improve my skin. Instead I had a hour of unspecified glop put on my face. No explanation. I came out looking puffy. Not something I am in a hurry to repeat

Great experience for a first time facial. Staff was welcoming. Deanna took care of my facial and explained everything to me beforehand so that I know what would happen and how it can help my skin. She listened to my concerns and gave great recommendations of products to help enhance my needs for my skincare. Also, another staff member help me with products before I checked out which helped as well. Overall 5+ star experience!

At an age where going to the spa is not a luxury... but an essential part of my regular self care routine. Made my first appointment with Aesha: Deep Tissue with Hot Stones. My body was in desperate need of TLC due to stress. Aesha was excellent... great pressure, and attentive to my comfort.Two days later and I still feel rejuvanated and peaceful. Ill be returning.

Very peaceful environment. Comfortable and timely with treatments. Enjoyed the massage and had a wonderful massage. The only small thing was that I was not greeted when I initially walked in to the spa and did not feel welcomed. Otherwise it was a blissful experience and I plan to return more regularly.

Compared to other natural body locations I think this space needs work. The staff at the front saw us but then forgot to check us in. The message was pretty good but when I asked if the room or table could be warmer I was told no and then was cold for the much of the hour. She didn’t offer extra blankets or a space heater as others have. For the price I was underwhelmed. Checking out I had to find the front desk staff who were once again busy in the back and not watching the desk. There was then a long line to check out. Not the experience I have come to expect from natural body.

You tell the massage therapist your trouble spots, pain points. They listen, yes, but Cody knows what’s connected to those places that can be necessary spots to attend to also. Perfect pressure, great therapist to get your body walkin on sunshine.

No consideration for peoples time. The girl who completed my consultation and facial suggested a skin regiment and I invested in skin products she recommended in preparation for my next treatment. I booked my next appointment with her before I left. Two weeks later on the day of my second appointment I arrived and they said she was busy and wanted me to meet with someone else and did not tell the other employee the treatment plans she had in mind for me. No one on staff called me in advance to let me know she was no longer available during our appointment time and I left. Normally this would not bother me but the way this was handled was amateur. I feel like she got me excited about fixing my skin problems and then waved me off on someone else. This staff needs to be retrained on customer service and to treat everyone the same.

I haven’t given myself any self-care in a very long time and I felt so very special and treated with care. Lari (Not Larry 😉) was amazing with focusing on my back pain and tension and was able to loosen my knots. For the first time ever visiting this place, I did not enjoy the massage. Don’t think the masseuse listened and therefore, the entire time was spent on my neck and back. I did not request a deep tissue massage but apparently that is what I got. The whole experience was not relaxing and not what I expected at all.

I had such a phenomenal massage with Anthony. I appreciated that he took time to listen to my concerns, worked incredibly hard on the knots in my shoulder, and then provided me with a plan (stretches & follow-up) to continue to improve the tightness Ive been having in my back and shoulders!

I love this spot for facials. I have had a handful of facials here and always found the technicians to be excellent. They also run great specials, if youre interested in purchasing a package of multiple facials. The store alone is great with an array of skincare products and fabulous gift ideas.

I bought a facial and one hour message as a Valentines day gift for my wife. She came out glowing, smiling and happy. She loved her therapsts who helped her release lots of tension. Treat your loved one anytime of the year here, you wont go wrong.

I had a pleasant and rejuvenating experience. My masseuse checked in with me regularly about my level of comfort and safety. A few careless and rushed moments (cold sweat dripping where I had warm oils, getting poked in the eye accidentally, loud gum chewing & bad time management for what was supposed to be an hour-long full body massage), ultimately did not take away from the lightness I felt and a deep sense of gratitude. Three days later the effects are still with me

I had a good experience. It ended up feeling more like a deep-tissue massage than a signature massage, so it was more repairing for damaged tissue than it was relaxing. Nonetheless, the massage therapist was great!

I have had a few massages here in the past and today I had a 90min massage and am very disappointed to say that it was the worst spa experience I’ve ever had. The massage therapist himself was nice and not so much the problem. But once I was undressed and on the table he informed me the table warmer was not working. I’ve only ever had massages on warm tables and underestimated the impact a non warm table would have. I really wish he told me before i was already undressed and under the sheet. I got very cold and uncomfortable quickly into the massage and it made it unenjoyable. Being naked and freezing is the opposite of relaxing and I was very ready for the massage to be over.I expected to politely inform the front desk of the situation when I checked out, mostly to save the next guest who may use that room. However when I checked out neither girl at the front asked me about my experience. Spending $130 plus 20%gratuity is not cheap and I will not be back due to the complete lack of customer service nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Lakeya was awesome. After my hour long deep tissue, full body massage; I had the best night’s sleep in many months. Lakeya inquired about the areas I wanted her to focus on and she did just that with the perfection! Thank you, Lakeya. Soon you again soon.

Took advantage of a last minute opening for a deep-tissue massage with Anthony that helped relieve some intense shoulder/neck tightness and pain. Both Anthony and the staff were super welcoming. Highly recommend.

Quaint, friendly, professional, and knowledgable! Management (forgot her name!) was very sweet and allowed me to use my gift card for my deposit. I got my 2nd appointment moved up without asking which was nice and convenient. My facial was amazing with Aubree and my massage was just as amazing with Frankie. Each person felt kind and knowledgable. Thank yall for a great experience! Will be coming back.

I received a 90 minute hot stone massage. It was absolutely the worse Ive ever received. Ive gotten many in the past usuallly with the same person but she was unavailable. The stones were hot and when I mentioned it the thereapist just laughed. I spend a lot of money to get basically not hot stones. I was so disappointed. I had to keep telling her the stones werent hot. I didnt like getting laughed at either. I wanted to leave right in the middle but I stayed until the end. I couldnt get out fast enough.

I also had a brow shape and tint by Morgan. Never have my brows looked so good and Ive been to several places. Both services are reasonably priced, I highly recommend them.

Came for a brightening facial with Sharon (spelling?). She was great! The atmosphere was calming and the retail was plentiful. The staff were people of color (love). I was offered tea/water. The tea was delicious- something gingery and honey-ish. The products smelled amazing (i spent more money than I should have 😏) and the aroma therapy was relaxing. It was my first time having extractions (a few whiteheads and a blackhead) done. They were admittedly satisfying. The steaming that Sharon did to prepare my skin made the extractions effortless and painless. I left feeling moisturized and glowing. I got 3 compliments on our walk to Sweet Melissa’s (literally a 5 minute slow walk). They were on my hair color, but I believe the skin is what drew attention to my hair- really!UPDATE:I went yesterday (6/24) for my first Brazilian wax with Tiffany (she has copper hair). It was amaaazing! It didn’t hurt NEARLY as much as I thought it would! She helped me to breathe throughout the process, so it really only felt like a pinch for every rip. She was also really nice and had a relaxing energy to her so that definitely helped! Tips: 1) Exfoliate your area before you go (soft bristle brush like back scrubber) 2) trim your bush! the longer the hair = the more painful 3) Don’t forget, they do your ass too

My experience with Natural Body Spa was trash.The massage therapist didn’t listen to direction about the muscles I wanted to focus on and instead pulverized my back for the entire appointment. I now have intense lower back pain and need to book another massage elsewhere to hopefully undo the damage caused.If you want to pay money to have your body feel terrible, I recommend Natural Body Spa.

I must say...this place is amazing! I’ve been to all different natural body locations—buckhead, morningside, and here in Decatur and none of them disappointed. I got the signature massage and it was exceptional. I’ve been to “fancier” places and hotels for massages that were more expensive because they also offered a sauna and steam room, but honestly the actual services there were not as good. Conversely, I’ve been to massage heights and massage envy because there are a lot of locations here in ATL, and those places offer massages that are only OK. From now on, I’m only going to natural body! In Decatur, I loved my massage with Sharon—she was great!

I went here and fell in love with Brian. I carry my tension in my upper back and he took excellent care of me with a deep tissue massage. He also took the time to make recommendations on balls to purchase to use for stretching. Thus is my go to spa location for massage and I now have Brian and Jeff to choose from.

As an aging marathoner training for the Boston marathon I struggled with injury after injury this year. Then a friend gifted me a pain relief massage with Sha’Ron. Her sessions have completely transformed my legs, eliminating some longstanding problems and helping me to be more conscious of the need to relax and take care of myself through stretching, etc. She is the absolute best and I highly recommend her massages for runners and other masters athletes.
