My friends and I have been coming here for over a year now and we’re so glad we have a safe space like BH! The bartenders are friendly and approachable, the music isn’t super loud, the food menu is great. Allies to the LGBT+ community will come in and say it just feels like a neighborhood bar which is what it is! Great theme nights are always a plus. Bad Habits will always be our go to spot.
This was our first time visiting Bad Habits. It was such a comfortable environment. Our food was very good and they served us nice portions. We had a few drinks and the staff was incredibly friendly and took care of us very well. We just stopped in for a short time but now are planning on returning to spend an evening when we have more time. I would highly recommend it if someone is looking for a nice neighborhood gathering spot.
Great late night spot. The bartender was really fun and friendly and the other guests were fun to chat with. We played some darts and had some snacks and drinks. For a late night spot you should check it out. Easy street parking.
I always feel welcome when I spend time at Bad Habits. I love that they have theme nights and so many things like trivia, game nights, and dance lessons happening. I won a round of trivia with Star - who is a HILARIOUS and fun host - which was exciting! The food is tasty bar food, a lot of fried options. Both the cocktail and mocktail selections are varied. I love that they partnered with one of my favorite breweries, Launch Pad, to create a BHD beer! Lots of different local beers on tap too. Great folks, great atmosphere!
Stopped in for a cold beer. Jeff makes a great cocktail 🍸 . In addition, his suggestion of sloppy Joe tater tots was delicious 😋. Great service and kool peeps to visit with. Shout out to Victor who I hope to see again. Sunday Funday, especially since the Avalanche knocked Winnipeg outta the playoffs ! Woo-Hoo
Just a great bar where you can be yourself. It has a great staff and yummy food. Everything I have tried on the menu has been cooked perfectly. I love that you can sit, chill and be able to chat with whomever without having to yell over music. The lower bar had the music alittle louder and upstairs bar I noticed it was not as loud. There are video games and dart boards. The outdoor patios were a surprise bonus. I will be back! The owners have thought of it all. Bad Habits is a Great addition to the Denver Area! The owners should consider a slogan of Bad Habits, the neighbor bar with Good Vibes.
Used to come here when it was South Side! We finished out the pride parade with a few drinks here. I love that they kept the chill neighborhood atmosphere but made it an even more inclusive space for all. A welcome addition to the congress park neighborhood of Denver!P.S. I love that they offer so many mocktails. Never been to a bar that offers more than maybe 4 of them and they had 22 different ones!
Came here today sat at the bar me and my partner. Was never greeted by the women at the bar (Not too crowded) even after she looked and stared at the both of us. We sat almost 10 mins when a customer from the bar walks behind the bar and grabs a bartender (Chad) from the back to make our drinks. The guy was very pleasant and I appreciate him greeting us with a smile and being super cool. Thanks Chad for acknowledging us and making our visit here amazing!!
Lovely inclusive bar featuring inexpensive cocktails, creative mocktails, delicious affordable food, shows, trivia and game nights! Friendly vibe with courteous patrons, including myself!
Met someone in a different bar and suggested Bad Habits! The bartenders are great, Andi has been the one mostly there when we’re out. We took some friends from it of town and they loved it too!
Was here for a short while to see some friends and was a nice place. Didnt eat or drink but overall, friendly staff and nice place.
Friendly staff, chill environment, and good bar food offered to go with drinks. Theres also a good mocktail menu for those that arent drinking alcohol.
Happiest spot on Colfax! LGBTQIA & Cis friendly, they have messages across a monitor screen that read “All are Welcome”. Inclusivity is important at Bad Habits; the owners get it. The events are unique, the names of the drinks are creative & there’s games to play while snackin’ & drinkin’ for all. All you need here, is to be yourself 💕💕
Attended a event here and it was vary welcoming and rather cozy. The staff was attentive and the clientele was an interesting mix. Definitely planning on visiting again
Drinks were amazing and fast. All of the food was hot with plenty of dipping sauces and ketchup. The second floor bar was fantastic. Bathrooms were well stocked and very clean. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and polite to us. My wife didn’t know what she wanted and when she asked the bartender to surprise her with a drink he came out with this awesome deep eddy vodka mixer that my wife loved and ended up going back for seconds and thirds. The owner suggested we try some “pez” shots and they turned out amazing. Highly recommend.
This was my first time in and I really enjoyed it. It’s a laid back LGBTQ+ bar with friendly bartenders and some fun games. I’d say it’s a great spot to meet up with friends for some drinks and games! I didn’t try any of the food but I’ll be sure to do so next time I stop in.
We had my bestie and his husband’s joint bachelor party and it was an amazing experience. We had a large group of about 30 in the upstairs bar area. We were able to play a slide show and decorate the space with a few things. Our bartender Chad was the best! He was friendly, professional and served up the best shots! Thanks Chad!!!
Our first visit and glad for this new addition in the neighborhood! Kyle was our bartender this Sunday afternoon and he was wonderful...loved chatting with him, drinks were great and atmosphere was very chill. Looking forward to making this a great go to for us.
Warm, friendly and so much fun. Really inviting 2 story bar and restaurant. First floor has high ceilings, long bar and multiple screens playing trivia, video games, and events. Upstairs has a tiki bar cozy feel. Bartenders and owners make you feel right at home and drinks and food are a good price and outstanding quality. Nice patio out front and extra parking behind building. Very diverse crowd and amazing sound system. Love this place!
I stopped by to meet and old friend in the afternoon while in Denver on business. Very friendly bartender and good bar food. Fun vibe, welcoming environment, and even got to play music videos. Will definitely go back when I’m in Denver next.
Love the bar staff and the over all inviting vibe! Many LGBTQIA+ bars cater more to a specific subculture of the community and that’s great at times when ya really just want to enjoy a like minded crowd. However, what my friends and I really LOVE about Bad Habits is that it truly is an everybody’s welcome kind of place. Puts the togetherness back in our community ❤️.
My group of friends and I wanted to have a fun stop for NYE here but the whole time we were here the bartender we had made us feel bad/embarrassed about our orders and as if every time we needed anything it was an inconvenience to him. This really put a weird vibe on our night and we definitely won’t be coming back.
Very limited menu all fried frozen things. Pretty bright in there and has more of a restaurant feel than a bar yet they dont have many options for food. The drinks were being served in disposable plastic cups and they were large so the alcohol to mixer ratio was terrible. Could not taste the alcohol at all. We got the loaded tots and the fried cheese curds and they were both fine for frozen fried food. They were very stingy on the sides of ranch. We didnt get any napkins or any silverware so we just had to eat with our fingers and had nothing to wipe our hands with. I walked up to the bar and grabbed some bar napkins! When they dropped off the food the server basically just threw it at the table and ran away. So we didnt even have the opportunity to ask for anything else. But definitely nothing exciting! We only had one drink and we had to go to the bar to ask for it after sitting at a table for about 15 minutes. No one came over to greet us or ask us if we wanted to order anything. The food came out quickly we ate most of it and finished our weak drinks and left. I doubt well ever be back.
Ok, I was a bit skeptical of this bar being new and upcoming, mostly gay but all inclusive..(gay myself) I am rather pleased. Beer bust Saturdays, expected prices. Games of all sorts. Cards, board, tabletop etc..early karaoke on Tuesdays for early risers during the week is awesome, unlike some bars in the area..(looking at you Charlie’s🤭). Clean, comfortable seating and modern. Spacious patio for the summer. AND CLEAN BATHROOMS!!!! GOOD JOB BAD HABITS 10/10.
Zero vegan options, save *maybe* tater tots and fries. There are plenty of ways you can make delicious vegan food.
Awesome game nights. Extremely trans friendly. No one bothered my friend and treated us just like anyone else in the bar. Can’t wait to come back.
I had such high hopes for this bar coming in down the street. Unfortunately, it has failed to deliver or meet any expectations. Its little things, like music that never matches the videos on the screens, or the barrage of media content on all screens playing multiple things at once. Or the rotating trivia questions answered silently at sad tables. This all works together to create a place feels lifeless and depressing. The bartenders are lovely, I will say that. But the beers and seltzers are among the worst of any bar Ive ever been to, so their service can only go so far. I dont think Ill go back, even though I live nearby. This bar needs programming and reasons to compel people to visit. The crowds dwindle with every passing week.
Big tables, darts, a killer arcade cabinet with lots of classics, gluten-free beer (not too bad), plenty of non-alcoholic drinks, and its not loud! Yeah, theres music, but I can have a conversation over it. Friendly staff, too. Great work.
Welcoming staff, fun environment! Great drink specials, yummy bar food. Come to game night on Wednesdays, learn something new and make a friend. The monkey upstairs is the best!!
Didnt have any food but the bartendress was really cool. Almost definitely be back. This is my first time here.
I used to come here regularly. Until their POS double charged me. I pointed it out to the bartender and he told me it just does it there, and shouldn’t move past pending. Well it did. Super annoying. Check your bill carefully.
Came in with a big group for my birthday. Bartenders were friendly. The bar has a very strange layout with not much room in the bar area. Big patio area in the front.
Had a great time, entire experience was great and Randy was awesome.
Not happy on food. The owner did not accomadate. At 9:45p arrived and tried to order food. Two lication on the website state food/kitchen available until 10pm. NOT. no orders after 9:45 pm. I guess it is ok to not share acurrate information. The owner does not choose to make customer service and sticks to the fact he advertises closes at 10p but no orders after 9:45p.
AMAZING LGBTQIA+ (and just overall neighborhood) space in Denver, CO. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and fun and the food and drinks are outstanding. It is a must visit!
I love this place. Aside from the friendly staff, quality food and beverages, the site is brightly lit and fun. Its also perfect for socializing.
Very fun place, service was amazing. They are looking for enough ladies for a ladies night!! Check it out and let them know you want it!
The bar tender was super rude and intentionally ignored my friend and I
I’m so excited to have a new queer bar to hang out at! The bartenders were extremely nice and the drinks were strong!
Cool little bar. Staff was super nice, and make great drinks.
Lovely new spot for the community! Farrah is awesome and they have great outdoor spaces!
A bit pricey. But great atmosphere and service. Flavoured Margarita was amazing!
Fun place. A birthday party was happening but everyone was welcoming. Veronica was a great bartender. Ill be back.
Fun, relaxing neighborhood bar with lots of drink choices, beer, wine, mocktails and great food too!
I like this place! It’s nice. Staff is cool. Trivia night was fun!
Wonderful neighborhood bar. Loved the vibe of this place. Cant wait to go back.
Very friendly people, not too loud, and you can actually talk to people. The prices are about the same as everywhere else.
I just moved to the area and Im glad theres a local gay bar thats super welcoming and inviting.
Slow night, but the space was nice compared to other LGBT friendly spaces in Denver. More relaxed!
Their mocktails are the best Ive had in town, always a warm neighborhood bar feel
Weak drinks but good ambiance and friendly staff. I would go back but hope theyll pour a little heavier in the future.
Every town needs a place like this; friendly people, great environment and a place where everyone is welcome to come and relax and enjoy
Great dive bar!
Cody is the best! Always smiling, friendly, and makes great drinks!
The bartender with the eyelashes is rude, and I will not let her serve me again. ...FIIIIRED!!!
Yummy bar food, chill staff, dart boards, & patio
Excellent cheese curds and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Great vibe! Stopped by there while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant and will definitely be back!
