Fire & Ice at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino

It was great when they had actual bands. Now they have one man band singers not even playing on the stage, but at the entrance to the stage area. It’s weird. Won’t be back unless they bring back actual bands. I’ll go to Harrington instead.

The 2 older ladies that work at this bar— Been here for 25 years plus are extremely miserable. I figured when ballys bought it out they would have gotten better bartenders… this bar has SO MUCH potential. It’s the the only bar open to 1 in the entire establishment.

Was there Mike Hines and the Look. Band was great and also the people that were there to see the band.No chairs for people to sit..ok Race weekend draws as many people ..they always had chairs..only could get 1 drink ata time , come on really..etc..what are you doing Ballys sad

I attended on a Friday evening when they had a live band. There were four bartenders working, and it took 20-30 minutes to get a drink each time. I got double drinks because of the bad service.Management needs to do better and help out in these situations. I would suggest at least six bartenders when there is a live performance.This was my first time there, so I do not know what this is like on a regular night. I just know they did not make a good first impression, and I ended up leaving before the band finished.p.s. There were no finger foods.

Awesome place. Late Last Night was the band playing and they were amazing. The bartender Ben was great and made really good drinks. The only reason why I didnt give 5 stars was because the women bartender asked me how much I normally pay for the drink I ordered and seemed to charge whatever she wanted. When i ordered from the others they knew the prices and my drinks never came to the $16 she charged me.

So mediocre. The drinks were pathetic. The service mediocre. You can sit at the bar but have to stand in line to order your drink.A weird man approached he had sunglasses on and a lot of leopard print. He asked me to order his drink because he lacked confidence.

Every time I go to play them slots I bring over 1000.00 each time no luck they took it all every time. I think I will stay away from this casino b4 they put me in the poor house. The hotel is ok and the food is good. I want be coming back been going there for many years. I am done gambling at Dover downs Casino.

This place is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly, bathrooms are excellent. The buffet is 5 stars and a snap!!! Lol 😊 Ive won a jackpot several years ago. The hotel is 10 stars if I could rate that high. Lol 😊 I love love this place ❤️

We were there on saturday night. Drinks are good, service excellent and music (live and dj) was very good. A great mix in vibes. A place for all ages. Nice size dance floor.

One more post. Go lost 800 dollars. Go list 1000 dollars. Go lost 2000 thousand. Or 5000 thousand dollar!!! Go get a BURGER. AND FRIES AND DRINK. YOU WILL GET A COMPT. OF ABOUT $1.00 toward your hamburger!!!! At a regular casino. You could get compt. A room for 4 days and all free !!! These people. Are honestly!!’ Killing the ooor people of Hampton. Va. beach. Dover music, food, atmosphere, service is totally awesome. Oh, the rewards are always worth it . MGM,LIVE DONT HAVE NOTHING ON DOVER DOWNS ITS THE KING

I had the time of my life!! This band is really great! I will definitely tell my friends and we will be coming back for another great time!

Reasonably sure I ended up reading about this place on Reddit. Apparently one of their security guys assaulted an 18 year old that had previously worked there.

The band was great and the drinks were reasonably priced. We had a good time.

The drinks are good people are nice and it’s fun to play the slots and try your luck there 😁

Fire and Ice needs more bartenders been waiting at least 8 mins for a drink. 3 bartenders would be perfect.

I go there a few times a month love the Atmosphere, food and the staff very helpful & friendly.

They got sportsbook and semi truck parking.
