I’ve been to The Well many times (all great experiences!) but had an exceptional session with Madison. She did an incredible job targeting muscles most other therapists never thought to focus on. I felt like a new woman after our session! She was also able to give me interesting insights into why I was experiencing certain pains and tightness. I absolutely recommend her and The Well!

I have been here many times with different massage therapists and all have been amazing! Each one has a different style but each one listened to my wishes and problems areas and tailored the massage session to me. I recommend the Deep Well Massage!! I’m excited to try the sauna next time I book a session!

My husband and I are on our honeymoon and we got a couples massage here. It was the most amazing experience! He has never had a massage before and he said it was a 10/10 experience and would love to come back again. Both girls we had were absolutely fabulous and worked on every single part of our bodies and focused on the places we requested. Highly recommend getting a massage here!!!

From the moment I walked up the stairs to be greeted by the sign that said A Place to Heal, I knew I had to take this as my sign. It immediately made me fell welcomed. I’m on my own healing journey spiritually and physically and the sign was reassurance!The “feelings” the moment I walked in the spa were calm, peaceful and relaxing. Again I took my queue from the sign, I was in the right place!At 49 I’d say I’m a seasoned spa goer and this experience and massage was the best I’ve ever had. Madison is a blessing and helped my mind, body and soul! Her attentiveness to make sure I was comfortable, to hear me, and made me feel like she cared was beyond amazing!!This was the best 2 hour massage I’ve ever experienced. I have been to The Well many times and have had great experiences with many of the massage therapists. My most recent experience with Todd was AMAZING and he is excellent at what he does! I went in with neck pain and limited ROM and left with minimized pain and full ROM. He truly focuses on any areas of pain or tension and works through many muscle groups to help target your specific needs. He is very knowledgeable about body mechanics, functions, and how the muscles are connected. I would highly recommend Todd and certainly be going back to him for massages.

I just finished a massage at the Duluth location. I was with a group of 2 other people-they both had great experiences. My experience was terrible. I think my masseuse kept falling asleep. Huge waste of money.The other massage therapists, Matthew and Todd, were great!Edit: The Well reached out to me and were very apologetic and reimbursed my money. Great customer service, I would go back and try them again if I am ever in the area again.

The Well is my happy place. Abbi is the best therapist. I go every 3 weeks for a 90 minute relaxing massage.They have wonderful little add ons too. Dry brushing, facial, mud scrubs.Great place with exceptional staff.Thank you Melanie for creating my happy place. 😁Tina

Amazing. I went in with a shoulder area injury from climbing that I didn’t think could be resolved with a massage because it had been causing me pain for over a month. Todd fixed it. I couldn’t believe it when I went to sleep that night and could finally sleep in my preferred position. He had some really technical techniques that I’d never experienced before and allowed him to target muscle in my neck and upper body most people can’t seem to get at. I felt like I saw a doctor.Also beautiful space with a great gift shop and great tea when you arrive.

I come to the well fairly often and ONLY for self care/relaxation. I receive amazing massages most times I go. There are kind people, warm and quiet atmosphere, yummy blueberry pomegranate tea etc. my favorite part is the stones and hot towels.I’ve had a couple off experiences there, but nothing to make me want to stop returning as they always follow up and ensure things are okay.Overall I would and I have recommended the well to others and I can’t wait to come back. My wife and I come to Duluth every year for our anniversary. This is the first time we decided to book a couples massage. Why did we wait? Josie and Grace were excellent. We get regular monthly massages back home and this experience was one of the best. The atmosphere is relaxing and all the employees we interacted with were very pleasant and welcoming. Looking forward to trying the guided sauna with a massage next time.

The best massage Ive ever had -- Miala was so intuitive about all my tight spots and I was astounded to realize a few hours afterward that I could literally breathe deeper because of it. Never had that happen before, feels amazing. Plus, the atmosphere there is so welcoming and relaxing!

My boyfriend and I had never gotten a professional massage before and this place was GREAT! We booked a couples massage, and the service was so friendly and welcoming, the tea was really good and everything smelled really nice and we both felt really relaxed afterward. The only thing I would do differently is ask for a firm massage rather than a medium one, and maybe go for longer but that was my own mistake. They were so nice and it was overall a really good experience. I will be back! :)

Wow I wish I could remember the names of the therapists but wow were those ladies phenomenal! Me and my girlfriend celebrated our 2 year in Duluth and got a couples massage and that’s the best massage Iv ever had. Great environment, very nice ladies, and made me feel at peace! The Well in Duluth is fantastic. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. The massage therapist I see always takes her time, never rushing me, and does a fabulous job. I always leave feeling refreshed and thankful. Their package choices are so good, I highly recommend the Muddy Moose. Do yourself a favor and book one ASAP.

First time I went about a year ago was wonderful. Had a different masseuse this time and was very disappointed. Maybe she was just having a bad day...Long overdue update:They reached out and gave me a complimentary massage with a different therapist, Amanda, and she was wonderful! Went again recently and Amanda outdid herself again. She listens to your needs and strives to give you the best experience possible.I wish I’d reached out to them before writing my first review. Lesson learned. Give people a chance to make things right before you go public with negative reviews.I Highly recommend this establishment if you’re looking for an awesome massage experience. Updated review from one star to 3 stars. Nothing on the owner, I really think she did all she could do honestly. But staff didn’t seem very reliable? I appreciate you wanting to make it right and have me back in, im glad I came because it felt great once it began. I did feel like a nuisance at one point because scheduling is very hard with you guys. Between the call ins and reschedules it’s very hard for me scheduleIe something and drive all the way out there to find out that my therapist didn’t even know about my appointment. I called in the morning and asked for any availability that day and got lucky. Poor receptionist had to call him while I was there and tell him he had a client, which made me feel bad because I could tell the receptionist was trying her hardest and had to give me the foot soak. I made sure she got tipped. I’m not trying to cause any extra drama or work for anyone. I was happy with the refund and massage and I understand you’re in the process of hiring new people, etc, just hoping that scheduling, reliability and availability can start going smoother for you! But otherwise a very cute welcoming shop. Thank you 🙏Very upset at how business is ran here. I’ve only been a few times as I usually would go to infinity. Well I really liked my massage and I think it was a special they were running to book another 120 min massage again within 7 weeks to get 10% off or something. Didn’t care too much about the deal. I booked wrote the date down and about 2 days before my appointment I’m called and told it was canceled and if this other time worked. I was under the impression you changed the time, not the day, not the day and the time. I know this was never fully communicated to me or I would have said no due to conflicting schedules. So that Friday I never ended up with a massage. I understand no show charges as I’m a stylist at Fitgers Salon. But you guys cancelled on my actual day, when I called to see the time you couldn’t find me for the right day, so I didn’t have one and I was mistaken. Then I get a notification from my bank that you guys took out $150. So I’m did have an appointment and I guess it was on Tuesday. So I missed and payed for an appointment that you called a no show when I had no idea of the time/day of the appointment, and that it was cancelled, rescheduled for a different day AND time, due to the masseuse, and I was never told. I was pretty angry to see you charge me more for your mistake than I pay at my place of work for a massage!! I called right away to get things figured out to have a receptionist tell me “oh no im so sorry that shouldn’t have happened let me call the owner, and I will call you back in the next ten minutes” I said okay we hung up and I never received a call back. The money was still gone from my bank account though. I was very disappointed in the lack of communication and in taking more than $150 without asking me. Legally you cannot do this. Let alone I received no notice of this service!! Did Not receive a confirmation text of the appointment. I would have never no showed that therapist, and yes he cancelled on me. Very unprofessional not even calling me back. Beware!

Hands down, the best massage experience ever!! Inviting friendly staff that proceeded without judgment, Im a very self conscious person and was still very comfortable. I had my first-ever massage here, and it was a wonderful experience. I appreciated the option to purchase individual add-ons such as clay facials and foot scrubs. The hot herbal tea before and after the massage was a very nice touch, especially with the cold November weather.

I recently went there for a spa package, and it was absolutely wonderful. Abbie was so pleasant, nice, and a great massage therapist. The atmosphere that they have created makes you feel relaxed right after getting there. I definitely will be going again! Absolutely the best!

I lived in Connecticut eight years ago, and had my first massage with someone named Michelle, and it was the most amazing massage ever. I moved home to Wisconsin in 2013, and Ive been comparing massage therapists ever since. Most were okay, but they never measured up to Michelle. I decided to give Abbie at The Well a try, and Im happy to announce my search is over. I found my new Michelle! Abbie applies a relaxing, slow, constant, deep pressure, which makes my back very happy. The complimentary tea, foot soak, hot towels, and hot stones are also a nice perk! You will definetely leave feeling pampered and relaxed.

It was my first time ever getting a massage and this was such a wonderful experience! They were so kind and caring to both of us during our couples massage. The tea, massage, foot soak, everything was just superior! Would definitely go to them weekly if I could!!

I had an appointment a little over a week ago here. I got a 60 minute massage and add on Muddy Moose treat and: It. Was. Glorious. The person doing everything (sorry, terrible with names) was very kind and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She asked if I wanted to be told things as she went along or to just let her do what she does. I opted to just let her do everything without explanation because I wanted a full relaxing experience of not thinking or talking; I love that she gave me that choice. She was very thorough and was sure to ask me about pressure during my massage.All in all, it was such a great experience and the add on treatments were fantastic. I will definitely be going back when I find myself in the Duluth area again!

Amanda E. Does a great job everytime! She works with you on rescheduling to ensure you get her if you choose. The environment at duluth Well is very welcoming, relaxing, and comfortable. They make it feel like the red carpet is rolled out just for you. The staff is very friendly and ensure you are comfortable and needs are meet promptly. I recommend The Well and Amanda! They truly do and act in a way to make it easy to want to be a repeat customer!

Loved the experience. Not a big chain place. Friendly, everyday people. Nice choice of great products that were natural and fun. Maybe a little spendy but well worth it. Only drawback was stairs if that is an issue with you. I had Josie and she was great.

My boyfriend and I had a weekend getaway in Duluth, and decided to book a couples massage at The Well after a quick Google search. I wish there was an option to rate 6/5 stars as Melanie and Abbie not only provided the massages we had scheduled, but an entire relaxation experience. The tea, foot soak, warm neck wrap, relaxing music, amazing massages with essential oils and hot stones, and welcoming/warm atmosphere...Dont even bother looking anywhere else for a massage! Dont let the location fool you!!! We had a wonderful couples massage today! The ladies were very professional, ensured our highest level of comfort throughout the experience. Complimentary foot soak was a nice touch prior to the massage.

We had a couple massage there after a weekend of hiking/backpacking. We both were so tight and had sore muscles. The 90 minute couples massage was amazing and just what we needed to work out our kinks. I will definitely hit up the Well again when we are in town.

I love The Well! Unlike other places I have been, so many great things are included - a foot soak, aromatherapy, Lake Superior hot stones... and the clock starts when your massage actually starts. Staff is friendly and so good at what they do.

Woke up this morning and just knew I needed a massage. Was not able to get in where I usually go so I thought I would try The Well. Fortunately for me there was an opening.It was a wonderfully relaxing experience and exactly what my muscles needed. Stacy did an incredible job working the knots out. What really made this massage is the “extras” that are included ( warm foot soak and hot stones) not to forget mentioning the hot tea and chocolates which rounded out the whole experience to make it like no other before; above and beyond.I will definitely be back and tell anyone who mentions needing a massage that The Well is the place to go.Thank you for creating such a wonderful atmosphere and experience.

I have been going to see Melanie at The Well routinely since October 2017. All I can say is that she is my miracle worker! I have a history of sciatic issues and chronic back pain that flares up due to an injury as a child. I can walk in in so much discomfort and walk out like a new person all thanks to Melanie.I have only had Melanie as a massage therapist but my husband and many friends have also had Abbie work with them. Both ladies are naturally kind and sincere and really focus on you as an individual person, not just another customer. I rave about The Well to everyone, I cannot love them enough and what they have done for me. For the ultimate pampering session that begins with a warm foot soak, to the most amazing massage including hot stones, fire cupping (if you would like) and foot scrubs, and ending with a nice hot tea for the road (all of which are included at no extra charge), The Well is where you want to be! 💕

My husband and I went on a little get away before our next child is born. 35 weeks pregnant and this was the best prenatal massage I have ever had. Love the well , this is my go to for Massage - I particularly like Chad or Abby but feel you need to find your own person as they all seem wonderful. The place is always clean and smells wonderful and customer service is AMAZING !

This is really a especial little place. Was greeted kindly and given some tea from their homemade sections. Started the treatment with a foot soak and a really intuitive and thorough evaluation of what was expected and they listened. This really shown through out the treatment. They even took the time to provide some tips for after the treatment and noting where and how I had issues.

The Well is my favorite place in town. Mel and her team are amazing. Mary is my lady! They have incredible customer service and make every experience amazing. I added the foot and mud scrub this time!!! My feet feel amazing. Thank you! ❤️

After trying to simply get in somewhere, having spent 5 days I’m the BWCA clearing trails, I fortuitously ended up with a appointment with Abbie, and boy did I hit the jackpot. I was sore, tight, and hurting, not knowing exactly even what hurt precisely, and Abbie was able to not only better identify my sore points, but then alleviate them. A lot of people think they know how to give a massage, but Abbie knows what she’s doing. It was easily the best massage I’ve ever had. I have two follow-ups booked already, and she’ll be a regular stop on my way back from the northland from now on. Outstanding experience all around.

The Well is hands-down the best place to go for massage therapy in the Twin Ports. The atmosphere is very calming, of course. But where they really excel is in their skill and knowledge. If you are interested in understanding why specific aches and pains show up in your body, and how you can participate in the healing process, this is the place to go!

My visit to the well was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time there. From the moment of arriving the peaceful experience began. My therapist offered for me to pick areas of focus, which made it the experience that much more valuable.

The absolute best in town. You leave there realizing all the experiences elsewhere were not up to par. Massage is all about self care, resetting, relaxing, and they think if EVERYTHING. I was greated with immediate attention and care to my personal needs. The massage was finaminal. I was impressed with the relaxing atmospere, the organic tea is a plus along with the sugar foot scrub. I highly recommend this spa. Although one minor detail is my arms were not massaged, during my full body massage. Kinda bummed since I had surgery on my bicep a few years ago and shoulder surgery a year and a half ago. As a result it gets very sore and tight regularly.

Wife says: amazing massages without all the propaganda for add-ons and excessive service like at other places in Duluth. 10/10 highly recommend. Josie was primary service provider.
