I received a gift certificate for a massage for Mothers Day . Frankly, I was apprehensive about going. My husband and I decided to go as a couples massage. Ladies did a great job. Loved the hot rocks!

I suffer from back issues and I dont normally leave reviews. but for a first time experience. with no exceptions itd be good honestly. but wow was it amazing. nice soothing music that helped my anxiety. and even though I didnt understand its nicer to tip around 10-15% the person there was so nice. made a joke with me and let me understand that. will look forward to more business as my budget allows.highly recommend!

Had just finished a ski race and came in for a muscle cramp in my shoulder. Attendant was courteous and kind. Strong hands. Very formal when kneading muscle knots out. Good post massage recommendations of water and rest. A wonderful massage. I would definitely recommend to others and will be back in the future.

Tina gave an AWESOME deep tissue massage. i told her my pressure preference and she really delivered. i got a 90 min massage and she spent a lot of time working on my back area which is always appreciated. She had a super relaxing and calming touch, and provides an even and organized technique that she mimics exactly on the left and right side of body. Shes checked in with me about pressure a couple times but otherwise a quiet experience which is also appreciated. if you can get past the old massage parlor-esque atmosphere its really just a quality, nice, quiet deep tissue massage at a great price. im a person who has a very active lifestyle who gets deep tissue/sports massage multiple times a month at various massage establishments across minnesota to help with muscle recovery and soreness, and so i know what a good deep tissue massage feels like, and Tina delivers just that.

Went in without really having any expectations and was blown away.Tina did an amazing job, really sweet me at ease and found and solved every single knot with a purpose. Then used the hot stones until I was completely relaxed.I left feeling fully rejuvenated and will certainly be back again!

I was very skeptical when I walked in. Tina was amazing. I felt like I was floating after her deep tissue massage today. Like I mean it was so intense and good that my joints were cracking while she was working my body over. I got to cancel my appointment with my chiropractor office today after seeing Tina for 90 minutes. Ill be back in two weeks

Wonderful massage! The entire massage was thorough and very productive. She targeted the muscle in my back that was bothering me and kept at it until it was 100% pain free. I arrived in significant pain and left feeling absolutely fantastic! She has very strong, magical hands! Im a regular customer now. 😊

We live in the cities and this place was our first stop for a weekend in Duluth with me and my husband. We both had a wonderful experience. This may be the best massage I have ever had, actually! We will definitely return!

I have gone to numerous places around town and have been dissatisfied by a number of them. After reading other reviews I took a chance here and was so glad I did. It is clean and professional and Lisa did an amazing job. This woman has some strong hands and I am so grateful she was able to work on me. I will be coming back frequently!

I was a little skeptical upon walking in. I got the double therapist massage and let me tell you. Wow! I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. I was here on work and had been traveling for 2 months straight. Sleeping in all different beds every week or two. These two wonderful women provided one of the best experiences I’ve had. Wonderful massage. Full body. I was surprised at how great the hot stone massage portion felt. Would definitely go again! So polite and professional! Feeing wonderful now. Thanks ladies!

The massage tables are a bit old and creaky a its not top of the line in atmosphere necessarily.If you can get past that, though, this place has been a blessing for me. I deal with chronic pain and have been going here once a month / every couple months on harder days and in between physical therapy visits. I dont know how they manage to keep their hours except by having a lot of staff, as Ive worked with at least 5 or 6 different people? But I genuinely appreciate being able to do a walk-in appointment at 9PM after work and errands to just destress from the day.The staff dont speak much English, thats true but they know what theyre doing. Each masseuse has a different style, Helen, Summer(?) and Alice are super strong and seem to cater the massage to whatever knots and problem areas they find, which is nice (theyve been my favorite so far!). Sometimes they will stretch parts of your body like your shoulders or legs. You can request some parts be left out - for instance sometimes I dont want a face massage as part of the session and they will omit it if I ask. They always ask if hot stones are ok .... and the stones are literally the best thing ever.Id give the atmosphere a 6/10, quality of massage 9/10, and convenience 10/10.

I was a little skeptical at first but was pleasantly surprised! One of the best massages Ive had! I was in tremendous pain when I arrived and when I left I felt like a new person!! Must go back as I appreciated this excellent skill!

She is very talented and highly skilled in the art of massage in several therapeutic and relaxation modalities.My preferences included the 90 minute deep tissue and hot stone body massage with Absolutely amazing results. This is the most physically demanding modality for which Alice is quite capable. Keep in mind that deep tissue massage can be slightly uncomfortable when problem areas are treated but the results are definitely worth it. If that’s not for you then don’t hesitate to indulge yourself with any of several other modalities.Alice has a very keen ability to find and treat those tense and problematic areas. They offer several modalities, therapeutic and relaxing, something for everyone. Alice is still learning English so please be patient and you will be pleasantly surprised by her superior therapeutic talents. She does use google translate if necessary.Conveniently located in downtown Duluth. This facility is always very clean, and comfortable with several classy touches. This Massage and Spa is perhaps one of Duluth’s best kept secrets. So what are you waiting for... your worth it... give yourself a break and enjoy. This also makes a wonderful gift card opportunity! 💡

EXCELLENT!!! Scheduled a massage, showed up early, got in and went right to the table for the best massage Ive ever had (been going to message envy for 3 years). The warm stones was the best surprise, and my therapist knew exactly how to work out my pains without causing more! I will be returning and recommending!!!

Made appointment and got in a little early. Had Lisa, really feel much better afterwards. If i go alone i dont care about essential oils or the sheet thread count boujiness etc. I have my eyes closed the entire time anyway. If going with Fiancé, she wants the whole package. This place worked great, right next to my hotel on my long layover, needed a deep tissue after hours sitting in the plane and a lot of time on the slopes this year. Glad i went in, foot and body massage were great. I dont know if their card machine was broke, i read a lot of reviews before going and went in their website and never saw one mention of CASH ONLY. Be prepared for that, i felt bad bc i dint carry more than 40$ so Lisa had to follow me to the atm. I would have been prepared but honestly was never told or saw it anywhere it was a CO joint.Other reviews were correct. Limited staff they will leave if people come in and such, didn’t bother me bc i know i got the full 1.5 hrs.

I find it interesting that an owner responds to these Google reviews in English, while my practitioner could not. Which do you think is more important?When I think massage, I think aromatherapy candles, essential oils, and ocean sounds playing softly in the background. Youd have that all wrong, because here youre going to get a can of Glade in every room covering up an odor of smoke, and some strange Asian opera type music. Youre going to get your practitioner literally leaving the room throughout your appointment to greet other guests. You might actually figure out shes the receptionist. Dont be fooled by the list of so called specialties in the window--even if they knew how to do this stuff, you wouldnt be able to communicate that you wanted it.My service provider knew only a few English phrases, which included telling me to pay for my service in advance, and asking me a few times if the pressure was okay for me. I gave her many pieces of information in response, and she ignored all of it because she couldnt understand it.I routinely get massages, and when I googled massage for an anniversary treat during our stay here in Duluth, I found this business. I decided to give them a chance. That was a mistake.Basically, she ignored me telling her that due to a spinal fusion I can only lay face down for 20 minutes or so, she ignored everything I said. She had me lay face down for an hour or so and busily took her forearms--which were like hardwood rolling pins--and rubbed them hard directly over my shoulder blades and down to and over my SI joints, over and over and over. There was no intuitive hand kneading of the surrounding muscles or carefully listening to my body or even what I was saying verbally. She was causing mostly pain and finally I insisted on turning over, only to have it all start again in the front.Youre not supposed to resort to using your elbows or bones on a client until youve used your hands and your ears and some degree of body work knowledge to feel out their needs. The pain escalated over the 48-72 hours after the massage, during which I took a lot of Advil, made ice packs in our hotel, and finally got a restorative and real massage at Eagles Nest, which I highly recommend. I resented having paid in advance, because that means you cant sit up and say, I quit.Horrible pain in my shoulder blades and SI joints triggered by this battering, and no communication possible to prevent it. When she finally got to my feet, I asked for ten extra minutes because I thought I was finally going to get something no one can screw up. I was wrong. I tipped and said thank you, because Im a gracious person, but the pain since the work has evaporated my kindness. Do your body a favor and book at Eagles Nest.PS. Thank you to the owner for responding with concern. While I appreciate the sentiment, I dont feel that given what I experienced I would be open to returning to the business. I would instead ask that the business consider passing on the charges for my services, in the form of a donation to a local charity of their choice.

Woman that worked with me was so sweet! Worked on my back very well when I told her it was a problem area. Got a “full body” massage but didn’t get much work on legs or feet. Still, great relaxing experience and nice price.

I loved the one hour body massage! Very professional, very thorough. I went in with knots and tension in my whole body from stress, I came out feeling like I could sleep forever. Im now going to come back every time Im in town.

The only reason Im giving 3 stars is because of the pleasant hot stone massage part. The rest of the massage was actually uncomfortable. My masseuse had rough hands and long fingernails which she actually used to dig into my skin. Not a pleasant feeling.

Lisa is amazing, one of the best massages Ive ever had. Not the fanciest spa, but I dont pay for glitter, and the cost is less expensive than the average salon.

My fiance and I had full body deep tissue body massages for an hour each and it was fantastic. She loved the Hot Rocks and I like the hot oil. I recommend it with five stars
