After dealing with autoimmune issues for years and feeling like there must be more I could do for my health, I decided to give functional medicine a try and called Dr. Jennings. The staff at Cardea Health are some of the nicest, friendliest staff you will meet. Dr. Jennings truly listened to all my concerns and took a detailed, holistic approach to my care and well-being, with personalized follow-ups every step of the way. Under her and her staffs care, I feel better than I have in years! I will continue to go to Cardea Health for my functional medicine needs. What a pleasant experience w/Cardea Health. From the first phone call speaking with Aimee, through my visit w/Dr. Jennings I felt welcomed, cared for & relaxed. They both had a very soothing, calming demeanor. Inside was a very relaxing atmosphere & I can’t wait to see the grounds/landscape once Spring hits & things start to bloom. Dr. Jennings took her time with me, & listened intently to seek my background & made some supplement suggestions. I look forward to meeting with her again & exploring the treatments offered there. For starters this review is long overdue. I was a patient of Cardea Health from March of ‘23 through the end of December ‘23. I was there for treatments several times a month during that time frame. I had been experiencing complications from having received the Covid vaccine. Cardea Health and Dr. Jen were among the few places that actually listened, empathized, and appreciated the things I was going through. During my initial visit with Dr. Jen she conducted a comprehensive assessment of my health and ordered a series of blood panels to help understand and diagnose the issue. I began receiving treatments on a weekly basis as well as a course of supplements and immediately began to feel more energized and found myself returning to baseline with each additional treatment. These visits is where the real value of Cardea is realized and that is the compassion and professionalism of the staff.Aimee is the first person you see when you walk through the door and she immediately makes you feel welcomed and right at home. She is kind and caring and always greets you with a smile. She has a personality we all envy. Once out back you are greeted by Nicole who is the best nurse I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. She is extremely gentle with the IVs and needles but at the same time she is full of energy and always makes you laugh. She has a motherly way with her patients and a smile that makes everything feel ok. The treatments themselves are enough but it’s these girls that keep you coming back. There is something therapeutic about the visits themselves and the environment the staff creates. Shoutout Pat!Cardea Health saved my life, I seriously believe that. The entire team at Cardea Health is great! I see Dr. Jennings several times a year for prolozone injections for various joint and muscular issues. She is compassionate and she heals me!! Because of her knowledge, I do not have to resort to pain killers or harmful ways to manage my pain and immobility. Dr. Jennings gets me moving and back to enjoying my life and activities. I moved to Buffalo 4 years ago and was finding it difficult to locate a holistic practitioner. Dr. Jennings has been everything I could want. She is knowledgeable, sensitive, holistic, scientific. I have been treating with integrative medicine for 20 years now. I wouldn’t change a thing. Getting to the root cause of disease should be the normal in healthcare and for some reason it is not. Cardea health is so relaxing and beautiful! The staff is amazing! The services they provide are all encompassing! I struggle with chronic inflammation and pain. I have received some IV therapy at cardea health which has boasted my health tremendously! In addition, I was suffering from long covid as it may have reactivated my tick borne illnesses. I asked Dr. Jennings if I could do a long haul covid protocol and was than subsequently treated! Wow! What a difference it made! I feel like my old self again! I was hopefully that I would finally find a doctor that would listen and work with me, I was very disappointed. I felt invalidated after my first visit she didnt seem to want to listen to my experiences and heard it all before. I was referred by a friend so i was following the blood work, the other tests, supplements, shakes, and IV treatments in hopes over time it would improve. After everything was done i made my follow up with results. The staff were not helpful or coordinated in receiving the results, appointments or sharing them. Blood work was normal, i did not feel any different after the IV treatment and was given no direction if what she suggested did not work. It seems she only meets with patients twice. She referred me to a nutritionist and have been getting more help from them. 8 months later i am no better off. Not worth the money, she is just like all the other doctors that tell me to keep trying different foods and supplements and hope it will improve.

Cardea health is a true gem in our community. The grounds are beautiful, atmosphere is calm and the staff are genuine and kind.Dr Jen is one of the only certified practitioners in functional medicine in all of WNY. They are also one of the only IV clinics that uses a sterile hood for mixing of sterile compounds. As a medical professional myself- this is important to me!Aesthetic services are top notch- they have the Venus versa laser and treatments are overlooking the forest and Stonehenge fountain. The esthetician Chrissy is wonderful. Highly recommend this place!

I made an appt with Dr. Jennings after feeling not myself for a few months. After a few appointments I feel more aligned with my personal health goals which embody a whole person approach. This is not replacing the medical advice of my PCP, rather supplememnting and adding in the expertise of what Cardea offers. The facilities are peaceful and less chaotic, the one on one personalized visits help patients feel seen and heard without judgement. Im excited for my wellness journey, backed by research and expertise.

I had a initial consult with Dr. Jennings and paid a hefty amount for 1 hour and only spoke for 45 min. Then she ordered labs not relevant to my case and issues. I had a old EBV virus come up on my labs and then she tried to say I currently had mono and blame my symptoms on a active mono infection (which was confirmed by 2 other physicians that it was indeed a last EBV infection.I tried to resolve this through the patient portal asking for half of my initial cost back seeing we only spoke for 45 min and that most of the labs ordered were irrelevant and the fact that I would not be returning due to blaming my issues on mono. They responded back with a free 10 min discussion with Dr. Jennings which I denied due to the fact that she was unable to properly decipher labs and she wasnt going to be able to tell me anything I did not know regarding the labs she ran.I was very hopeful because of Dr. Jennings background with thyroid issues and Hashimotos (which are my issues) but I was sadly mistaken and wasted 425 dollars initial consult plus lab costs. I am definitely very disappointed.

Cardea’s facility is truly stunning and the services they provide are wonderful. The IVs, injections, and other approaches to functional medicine care are great and the staff are warm and welcoming, however unfortunately that is where the benefits of Cardea stop. I had high hopes for working with Dr. Jennings- my understanding of her as a practitioner was that she was someone who “gets it” from having been there herself. I have worked with many drs on treating my Hashimotos for years and was so hopeful that Dr. Jennings would finally have the support and answers I needed. I was sadly mistaken. After spending excessive amounts of money on my care with her, Dr. Jennings listened to me cry on the phone about how none of my symptoms were improving and said a few things that really were so invalidating in reply (and frankly was rather cold in her demeanor doing so as well). The first was asking me “who’s managing your Hashimotos”- ummm isn’t that why I’m here Dr Jen? Isn’t that what you specialize in? And the second was, “your labs are normal so just keep doing what you’re doing. Get enough sleep, get enough movement and eat healthy”- aka the blanket statement every doctor gives you when you’re seeking treatment for a condition like Hashimotos. And here I was thinking my experience at Cardea would be different. I’m saddened that my experience wasn’t like how so many others have reported theirs to be- like I said, I had high hopes for Cardea only to honestly have left feeling crushed, patronized, and disregarded, with my wallet significantly lighter, but I continue to maintain my hope that I will find someone else who can help me to “manage my Hashimotos” like I had initially hoped Cardea would help me to do. My 3 star rating is only as high as it is because the overall environment of Cardea is wonderful as are the ancillary services they provide- but the care of Dr. Jennings is severely lacking in empathy or even just concrete direction- especially for the price you pay. If it weren’t for the rest of the staff or the access to services like IV or injections, I’d sadly have to rate Cardea much lower.

Top of line, current comprehensive healthcare. Cardea Integrative Health provides the most proactive treatments for overall health.Its the only place that I physically feel better after leaving. The IV therapy instantly strengthens my immune system. After yoga, surrounded by nature, my body feels invigorated and my spirit grounded. Their massages are therapeutic; muscle knots located, loosened, stretched, pain and tightness rubbed away. My stress melts and my skin is rejuvenated when I get a soothing facial from Pam, while hearing the waterfall out the window.Dr. Jen is very comprehensive and digs deep to find the root causes of disease. She is very up-to-date on current research and treats the whole patient. I highly recommend this place because I believe it is the future of quality healthcare.

Dr. Jennings was the only Dr. in the past few years to not only believe me that something was going on, but actually try to put effort in to find out what it was! Within two appointments and a few targeted supplements I feel better than I have in three years. I am very thankful to be a patient at Cardea.

Cardea health has been helpful to identify my daughters health needs accurately. There kind concern is appreciated! We have real answers and real results that are backed by science based evidence. I was so excited to get a facial and lymphobiology treatment from Cameron last week at Cardea Health. And, she did not disappoint! My experience was very calming, relaxing and enjoyable. She explained each step as she went through each treatment and her touch was very slow and gentle. I really escaped from tension and life for a whole hour!When I came home and looked in the mirror, my skin looked fresh and alive!Then the next day while washing my face I was stunned to feel the softness and smoothness of my skin! The gorgeous setting reflects the time, energy, effort, and empathy practice throughout the entire office. Ive received the most comprehensive care at this facility then I ever have anywhere. They go the extra mile and are truly understanding. If youre struggling with something that no doctor has been able to help an experienced the judgment that goes with it, you can check that out the door here there is none of that. The entire staff is friendly and has been so helpful. Theyve gone the extra mile not only listening to me but doing things that arent done in mainstream medical communities such as researching my environment and background and approaching me with a sympathetic and kind ear and coming up with a comprehensive and thorough plan for my treatment. Im so sorry it took me months to make the decision to go. If youre thinking about it dont hesitate just go!

Dr. Jennings has given me my life back! She has been treating me for my thyroid disorder, and while I was headed on the right path I was no where near where I wanted to be or needed to be before I came to her. She has been nothing short of amazing! She listened to my concerns. She switched my medication, which I didn’t think prior to seeing her was an option or needed to be done, she recommended all the right supplements and only the ones I needed, might I add. And I feel amazing! Better than I have felt in many years. She has cleared me on having a pregnancy, which is something I have wanted to do for quite some time, but too scared with an unmanageable thyroid. Now the hurdle is finding a obgyn with up to date thyroid knowledge who will take me on as a patient. (So if you’re a thyroid patient of Dr. Jennings and had a successful pregnancy and reading this, please send recommendations my way, lol!) I highly recommend her and I will continue to highly recommend her in all my thyroid Facebook groups and to people who are/were like me and struggle to find a good dr in WNY to treat this condition.

As if the facility werent serene enough - something thats a blessing to sick patients, the staff- through and through, are professional, polite, understanding, and extremely empathic. Personally, Ive never had such comprehensive treatment, and after 5 years w and undiagnosed illness, Im not only receiving compassionate AND passionate care, I cant help but believe its because their concern for their patients exceeds their legal due diligence. They actually took the time to look up my property management and discover my community has 23 separate EPA water violations. NO other doctor would have taken the time. I finally have a course of treatment. I thank the entire staff but particularly Dr. Jennifer- a kind soul who only wants to help.

I came to Cardea after having my amalgam fillings removed. I started with Chelation and Nutrition therapy. Dr. Jennings and Dr. Neirenberg assisted me with Thyroid and arthritis issues. Prolozone treatments to my bone on bone knee were successful and after my series of injections. I have been literally Pain Free for 8 weeks. Much better than the cortisone or synthectic gels I have tried in the past. Compassion, Cutting Edge and a Clear path of what we needed to do was laid out for me. Thankful for getting my life back on track working with the amazing Careda Staff.
