Im a regular at the Edgewater Elements, and really enjoy it. Ive had massages from several of their therapists, and all are very professional. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived.

I couldnt more highly recommend anywhere else for therapeutic massage. Ive been going to Elements for quite a few years and they have maintained a consistently high quality service and environment. Always professional, courteous and friendly. I always look forward to my appointments. My therapist Rich has become part of my integrative health care and am grateful for the work he does. Appointments fill up pretty far in advance so my only wish would be more available appointments when I may need something sooner.

Facility is always clean. Receptionists are always pleasant and courteous. Therapists are always attentive to my massage needs. Staff is friendly.

Lois is a very good therapist. She was very good at addressing areas I have had chronic problems with. She also handled the area I store my ptsd stress and memories very well removing pain without any major traumatic sparks. She also addressed areas I did not mention that she knew would have pain due to my career. I definitely feel as if I can continue my daily functions without burn out. My massage felt very long as I could not tell how much time was passing by. One of the most healing in the moment massages I have had in a long time. 😌

I would definitely recommend Daniel as a massage therapist and the Edgewater office. The staff was very nice and friendly. Daniel listened to my concerns and I received a 45 min massage.

The massage is always great, but you can not get in the routine of using the same masseuse because they dont stay.

Brian is absolutely incredible. He gave me one of the deepest tissue massages I’ve ever received. I cannot wait to go back. The front desk staff is also great.

I was here last weekend and was able to snag a last minute appointment for last Saturday morning. I had never been here before but figured I’d give it a shot as I had pulled something in my leg at the gym. My massage therapist Alison was excellent in listening to me and even offered to try a cupping technique to help loosen the muscle, which I had never tried cupping before and it helped immediately! The establishment itself was clean and well kept and the woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. I’ll definitely be back again for another massage in the future.

I love how the monthly membership will carry over your massages!This is my first time here, and Anna did a fabulous job. Highly recommend her. I’ve gotten massages elsewhere but they were not nearly as good.

Johnny is an amazing massage therapist. He consistently ensures that the pressure and style of massage are to your liking. He targets problem areas and is keen on identifying areas that he should avoid (I.e. a large swollen bug bite on my leg). He seems very knowledgeable when it comes to massage therapy and knowing the body. He’s also very friendly and personable. He actually remembered some details that I told him last time. This location is clean, quiet, smells nice, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I thought I had forgot my credit card and was going to have to cancel but the ladies assured me that it was fine since I had a card on file! I was pleased with this visit.

If you deal with chronic pain and need relief or just want to relax, Elements Massage is the place to go. All staff members Ive encountered are always friendly, the place is extremely clean and peaceful, easy to make appointments whether online or over the phone. Nothing against physical therapy at actual physical therapy locations, however, from personal experience, they only work on that one area of the body that was injured. Not at Elements Massage; the therapist at Elements Massage will explain how this part of the body actually can affect another part of the body and will work with you in regards to getting the best results. My only regret is I wish my health insurance covered them. Highly recommend them!

I had a trigger point massage with Penny after a lower back injury. She was very informative and kind, as well as thorough. Definitely an experience Ive never had with massage - I literally feel like she massaged my brain. Shes great and I feel amazing - highly recommend! Front desk is friendly, and I was able to book a massage the day before I went.

Element is a wonderful place to get a deep tissue massage. They have a lot of different therapists and their biographies are all uploaded on the website to pinpoint who may be the best for you. My mom has the membership where you get a massage every month and I get to take some of them for her so Ive tried a few different therapists now and they are honestly all wonderful. Lashonda really helped get the knots out of my shoulders she focused on that area and it was really helpful. Ill be back for more! Got my boyfriend in for his birthday, he was very nervous but I made him go and once we were done he let me know that he wants to come back.

It’s hard to find a massage therapist that is able to pinpoint small muscles to provide relief for chronic pain. Johnny is amazing and very knowledgeable!

An excellent environment for setting the stage for a great massage. They have the only three things that really matter down:1. Friendly, courteous and accommodating staff that works around your needs.2. A retreat like environment, with warm rooms, soft background sounds and music with heated beds and comfortable sheets3. A massage therapy team with diverse skills and attributes to accommodate a host of clients. My personal experience with Melissa has been extremely professional, kind and tailored specifically to my individual therapeutic needs.

I ❤️ being a member! Sometimes one massage a month is great! Other times, additional massages are needed to work out the knots. I love being able to add a massage at the same member rate!Therapists have different styles and each therapist works really hard so the client leaves very relaxed!!

Christine was an incredible masseuse. She listen to my needs and was considerate to check in about changing her pressure. The woman who booked my massage was also very nice and gave helpful directions for finding the location and arriving on time. I had a great experience.

Just had my first massage there with melissa. By far the best massage Ive ever had. She took her time, working out the multitude of knots in my neck and shoulders, then massaging my face, releasing my sinus pressure. Her knowledge of muscles and pressure points was amazing, and as she hit certain spots I felt release through my whole body. Truly professional, excellent care, and immaculate facility. You step into a tranquil space when you open the front door and will carry the peace with you when you leave. Hurry up because theyre running a special for new clients! I will absolutely without a doubt be back.

Absolutely loved my Himalayan salt stone massage by Amanda! It was the most amazing massage Ive had and it is the one that is making me consider a monthly membership. I walked away feeling massage drunk as she called it. Completely relaxed, my skin was gently exfoliated by the salt stones and it felt so smooth for days after. Amanda worked on some problem areas and was able to untangle a few stubborn knots. The facility was kept to the highest standards and I was completely comfortable from the moment I walked in until I was back in my car. Definitely recommend this place and especially Amanda for all massages!

I have been to other salons in the past, but at Elements, they care about the whole person and this is evident beginning with the staff when you walk in the door. They are friendly and courteous and knowledgeable about the services they provide. The massage therapist is excellent! After being rear ended on the highway in a auto accident I have been seeing the same massage therapist for almost a year. He knows what areas need working on just by seeing how I am standing or watching me walk. He always gives me good advise for stretching exorcises in between sessions. I only have one body and it has to last me the rest of my life.

From the second you walk in the door you can tell you’re in good hands. The entire experience is peaceful and very rewarding. Paul was professional and established good communication from the beginning, and he did an amazing job on my Swedish massage- I was relaxed for the rest of the day!

Ive had massage memberships for the past 12 years from many different spas in many different states and Elements has some of the best therapists Ive ever had. Very friendly front desk staff and pretty easy to get appointments (I do EVERYTHING last minute). Would definitely reccomend.

Jodi was _awesome_. I asked for deep tissue/sports therapy, and she delivered! She really listened to my chief complaint/trigger points and spent a lot of time on my problem areas. She even found areas of issue that I didn’t know I had. It hurt so good!The whole experience was exactly what I needed- and I tried a few other therapists before finally meeting her.On top of it all, the facility was clean and comfortable, and the staff was courteous and friendly. I can’t wait to come back!

Lois is an excellent massage therapist! She really knows how to make a persons sore body feel better. My muscles are always so tight and knotted, but she knows how to really work on them and at the same time still do a relaxing massage. Elements is also a very relaxing and comfortable place to go, it’s one of the few places I’ve almost fallen asleep during a massage! Would definitely recommend Lois & elements!

Just okay. My husband and I both received a massage from two different therapists and they both left something to be desired. My husband said his therapist was applying cold lotion directly on the skin instead of warming it in her hands before massaging him. Cold lotion on a cold day, yikes! The experience was relaxing but the skill just isn’t there if you’re looking for an actual therapeutic massage.

Dinah was amazing! It was the perfect combination of relaxation, stretching, and a deep tissue massage. She was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. She also taught me certain stretches I could do to help my upper back issue. I will definitely be coming back to Dinah!

Wonderful atmosphere and very calming from the moment you walk in. Barbara was amazing and very sweet. Warmed beds and little touches like a shelf and hanger in the room jewelry were very nice touches that other places don’t have. I will definitely be back again soon!

After reading many great reviews online about Paul being an excellent massage therapist, I booked an appointment for a 60 minute massage specifically with him. Ive found that the male massage therapists Ive seen have always been a better fit for my needs and Im uncomfortable using female massage therapists who I dont know, so I always specifically book a male massage therapist when I try a new spa. I received email confirmation that my appointment was confirmed with Paul. When I arrived the day of, I was surprised that not only was I not actually booked with Paul, I wasnt even booked with a male massage therapist. I had an extremely uncomfortable and ineffectual massage that morning and was put in an awkward situation, as I wasnt informed to expect a female massage therapist until I was literally led back to the room. Given the personal nature of massage therapy and how common it is for customers to have gender preferences for therapists, I found it scary and irresponsible that I would be switched to a different gender therapist without any notification at all, especially given that I went to the extra trouble of choosing and booking a specific therapist. Extremely unhappy with the entire experience as I was not delivered what I signed up and paid for.

The ambience of the spa was relaxing, and the personnel openly friendly. Even the quality of the massage started out well. However, an hour long service usually means a 50 minute massage plus 10 minutes to undress and redress immediately before and after the massage, respectively. Unfortunately for me, the actual massage for the hour long service my wife bought me lasted less than 35 minutes. I was in at 8 and out at 840, including time to undress/redress. However, I was charged full price for an hour long service. Thus, I would not recommend this spa to a friend or associate as there are other more reliable spas in the area.

Everyone was welcoming and the atmosphere was calming. Paul was very professional, informative and his massage techniques were what I had hoped for. He even suggested that I try other massage therapist there to experience various techniques, which I thought was nice.

I liked my massage therapist Leo she was great! I went in there only a few hours after throwing out my back and she took care and cation and I appreciated it. I came out feeling better and a lot less tense then when I went in.

Every therapist I have seen at Elements is superior in their skill and technique. The atmosphere is professional and makes your visit so tranquil and healing that you leave with a new sense of well being.

They have quite a variety of professional massage therapists with incredibly different styles and techniques. Particularly impressed with Ms. Jo who really knows the science and physiology behind what she does, asks the right questions and proves she knows what shes talking about by applying the solutions with instantaneous results. Very impressive.

My first visit was really wonderful. I have fibromyalgia and the therapist was wonderful. Paul was very good and very intuitive including reflexology in the massage. I was really appreciative and slept so much better that night!

Just had the most amazing 60-minute massage with Lori. 😍 Don’t judge a book by a cover here translates to “don’t judge a masseuse by her size.” 😆 I wasn’t sure how strong such a petite person could be, but it was, hands down, the best massage I’ve ever had! DEFINITELY recommend.

Ive had two massages in the last two months at Elements and have really enjoyed both of them!

Elements is a franchise that charges top dollar. Ive only used one massage therapist, John S. at the Edgewater location (theres another in Crofton). John has been with Elements for years, and hes great for detailed deep tissue, so I think his skill and intensity are even worth the uppity price of $165/90min, if you can afford it. But that price point is well above my pay grade, once you add in a good tip, and the personal attention of a good massage demands a good tip. So, Ive opted for the more affordable Elements monthly membership discount price of $120/90min, but Im on the hook for advance payment of each following months massage (unused minutes do carry over). Only this way am I able to afford the massage and the fair tip it deserves. The Edgewater office is well run by competent and cooperative desk personnel, and Owner Cheryl is ready to communicate in detail with you by email. So, I think you do get what you pay for, but you do pay for it.

I like the professionalism of the staff, from front desk to the therapists. The massages are wonderful, and there is a great selection of therapists with varied styles. The facility is always clean and the ambiance is very calming.

I felt so welcome at Elements. Lora was a wonderful skilled therapist who knew what I needed without being too aggressive. I have struggled with shoulder pain for several months and tried many things. She is the first one that gave me hope that this pain would go away or at least be tolerable.Elements is attentive to small details that make a client want to come back.

Allison gave me the most amazing deep tissue massage I have ever had. I cannot express how much she helped my body through its healing process. I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease as well as chronic infection/overgrowth and am treating it now. I have a lot of joint/muscle aches that I didnt have prior to this disease and the work she did helped with so many things. Thank you!

I was having pain for over a week and a half and all it took was one session with Rich to make it better. After my session I was able to sleep again and within two days my pain was just about resolved. Rich was very professional and he even taught me some stretches and techniques to use at home to help with my issues.

Making appointments here is always very easy and they have a ton of availability. I do not see a regular massage therapist, but I can confidently say that I have gotten massages from 6 different therapists and they have all done a great job.

I booked a prenatal massage through Elements. I put prenatal in quotes because it was not a prenatal massage. They did not have a pregnancy pillow and just made me lay on my side for 90 minutes which was extremely uncomfortable. Please do not advertise you offer prenatal massages if you do not have the adequate equipment. Miserable experience and will not go back.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. When I open the door I am transported to another place. It always smells so good there, too! I cant wait to return for my next monthly massage :)

I highly recommend Elements. I went in for a massage after suffering from severe headaches and neck pain caused by TMJ. I needed some relief. Paul worked with me and the next morning I woke up completely pain free. Very nice staff too.

Went there with a SpaWish Gift card. Spawish identifies there card as Face value of card is in U.S. dollars kind of like an Am Ex or Visa gift card. There are no restrictions on the purchase, only that it be applied to goods or services. Went to Elements to purchase a special advertised as 2 for $99 holiday special. They WOULD NOT honor the Spawish gift card. They said the owner will not accept gift cards to purchase their special. Makes no sense so I took my card back and I guess I will go some other spa that will accept $100 for what ever I want to spend it on. btw no restrictions listed on elements website for the 2 for $99 service. Disappointed!
