When you think of nails spa/salon, you think of a relaxing, good vibes, de-stressing environment. Well, I didnt get it here at Smiley Nails II. They should also change their name to Grumpy Nails than Smiley because Ive never seen anyone that works here smile aside from Julie!We came here (we are 2 adults, 2 kids) on Sunday (yesterday) not busy we also had an appointment. The vibes here was grumpy, tired vibes! The service Ive got here from Ana (the one in the dark red shirt) was terrible!! She gave me this attitude that she was irritated Not Pleased that she was giving me the service! She was also wearing a headset the whole time she was giving me the foot spa pedicure and manicure. So her attention was not 100% and was distracted. During the foot spa pedicure Ana kept telling me in her annoyed tone to Pull my Foot Up so thats what I did but then she put my foot harshly pinned down! That confusion happened many times so I ended up asking her okay..., what do you want me to do? She didnt answer. However, she continued with her struggles with my feet in where to put that freaking UV Light and how to put my foot under it! Smh!Ana for the Foot Spa just washed my feet quickly, scrubbed in (literally) 2 strokes, dried and done. Cut nails, buffed and pretended that she was getting some cuticles and done. I was surprised my Feet Spa and the Gel pedicure was done in 7 mins! During my manicure session with her, she was talking to one of her colleague ( in their native language) with their annoyed, grumpy facial expressions then all of a sudden Ana asked me what is my name? So with a smile I told her my name because at that time it hasnt sink on me yet that they are being mean to me and they were talking about me. She was also pressing my fingers hard that it hurts and I noticed. I was about to say that it hurt but she went to another finger.After she buffed my finger nails, Ana in her annoyed tone and facial expressions asked me to wash my hands in the sink. Go, wash your hands in that sink! While she Pointed at the sink in the curve.Then while washing my hands, I saw all these clear square bowls with pebbles on the side. Julie was getting this square bowl with pebbles to bring to my sis in law so she could comfortably wash her fingers on that bowl while sitting comfortably there and doesnt have to stand up. Julie was nice and treated her well. Thats when I realized Ive had a mean lazy sneaky b!#@h nail attendant in this salon. I paid and gave them 20% tip because I am being considerate of the people and always gives them benefit of the doubt. In this less than an hour stressful time Ive spent here for my Mani and Pedi I felt unwanted, uncomfortable, and attacked. So I couldnt recommend this salon because Spa/Salon any services shouldnt be this way! Ive had way better experience and treatment from other salon than here.

I gave this place 2 trials. I got a certificate from someone to use here. The two times I went for pedicures was horrible. First time they cut my nails super short. Second time I went today my pedicure took 8-10 minutes the lady was rushing and made me feel so uncomfortable. Not just that she didn’t even removed the rest of my nail polish, not just that my feet have dry skin left she didn’t take her time at all, I’m so annoyed I wish I didn’t have to leave a tip. Not coming back. I’m new to elmhurst I was looking for a mail place but I guess I failed in that perspective. This place is terrible

Scheduled an appointment here last weekend and just felt like I was a bother to the staff the entire time. Got a regular pedicure and was in and out in less than 20 min -with drying! The polish was fine but that’s about it. Very disappointed in my experience since I was just traveling and picked a place with decent reviews near where I was staying.

This salon says that they take Walking well We went there to walk in and I also called it also on the phone. The young lady told me they need to close now because I need to clean up where Im going to do that you need to make sure you do not. Put that in your itinerary with your business hours though for example if you close at 7 PM dont tell anyone that you cannot accept. At 5:30 PM or at 6 PM because you need to clean up very rude. Im not sure if theyre pregnant or not I will find out.

Walked in as a new customer as the reviews were nice. Immediately the lady said we don’t remove acrylic nails and was very rude. Walked out in less than 2 minutes. Don’t recommend this place.

I have been to this salon 3 times now and I am so impressed! I have never had my no-chip manicure and pedicure look so good so consistently...and even with different technicians. My no chips are lasting 3+ weeks! These ladies do a stellar job. The environment is very clean and relaxing. I am SO glad to have found this salon and will continue to return.

Came in as a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon and was attended to right away. The salon is clean and the employees are friendly. Una did my pedicure, and it’s definitely the best I’ve ever had. She even took the time to fix a nail I smudged trying to get my sandal on. Very happy with the overall experience, and will definitely be returning!

Low quality and unprofessional. My big toes paint nearly came off after drying because she put too much and probably no top coat. The rest of the nails were not precise. $40 for something I could have done at home myself. I went back after noticing, and we’ll before closure at 5:30 Pm and she told me they were closed and would not redo it. Absolutely disappointing.

Toma I believe thats her name did an Amazing job. She was fast but made sure my feet were right! I would definitely go back to her. I didnt have an appointment but she squeezed me in and im grateful for that!!!

There were some communication issues. When I first called, I was asking about their services and the employee just kept telling me they were booked for the day. I tried explaining I didn’t want an appt but didn’t really get anywhere until I said that I would book for next week. She hung up the phone before I could finish asking about their services. I used FB messenger to ask them. I arrived for the appt and they said they didn’t have one for me and they thought I was at the wrong location. I proved I was at the right location and they figured out that they had me under the wrong name. The salon is clean and bright. My tech used way too much thick polish and three hours later my nails were still soft and several became dented. I’ll probably try a different salon next time.Edit: I reduced to two stars because 2 more nails (totaling half) have been damaged. I think I’ll have to get these redone. Also I just realized another communication problem, when I told the tech to avoid a sore spot on my toe, she must have thought I wanted it worked on because the first thing she did was use a sharp angled nail clipper on the area.

My favorite place to get my nails done! They always do such a great job and are very sweet and professional! The owner is so sweet :)

So glad that I have found this nail salon. When I first moved into town I had no idea where to get my nails done and stumbled upon Smiley Nails II. The salon is extremely clean and there is never a rush that makes it feel chaotic. They offer a loyalty program where you can earn back cash on manicures and they often hand out coupons. Really great!

The worst pedicure I have ever had. I have had one before and it was bad and gave them a second chance when I received a gift certificate and it turned out to be worst than the first. Very unprofessional very ignorant people. I have been a licensed nail tech 25 plus years and worked with clients for 13 years. Do not go there.

On my 3rd visit, I asked for the same extra callous removal I had on my first two visits. They said they don’t have this but either a spa or regular pedicure. When my service was completed, I still had torn callouses on my right foot - not even filed or smoothed out. I also had to remove my nail polish from my manicure because the technician didn’t bother to remove all my nail polish or buff my nails, so you could see bumps in the polish.Complete waste of $55. I’ll go back to Luxury Nails in Elmhurst.

I had a bad feeling when I was assigned a male tech but I decided to not be so prejudiced and give him a chance. Bad idea! He did a poor job with the polish and had to scrub the edges of every toe with polish remover. He also kept scraping at the cuticle of my right big toe until it became red and inflamed. Three days later it is still red and painful and I am avoiding closed toe shoes just to not rub anything against it. Not sure I will be returning. There are better salons out there

Staff is not friendly at all, they should change their name. No smile anywhere to be found. Nails were done fine nothing exciting. Definitely would not recommend or visit again.

It was a really nice nail salon the people where nice and the place was clean it was very relaxing. But when I got done with my pedicure they had me sit in the drying station for 40 minutes!!! Ok well my mom was there to do I was waiting for her but still I would go back here again just know you might be sitting there for a while

Ive been here a couple times, and the woman that is usually in charge is really nice. She was not there today. Instead a young lady named, Zala or Zaya was in charge and let me tell you, she has a horrible Im in charge attitude and does not smile at all. First off, I called before i came. I think its unprofessional to answer a business phone with a monotone Hello and nothing else. Second, I came with my mother, and noone greeted, just looked at us. I stood around and just looked at everyone back until someone actually said something. Zaya/Zala was also my moms nail tech, she flew through my moms pedicure and just left her sitting there. Didnt say she was done, didnt say a word, didnt even put the disposable sandals on her. Just got up and left. My nail technician was the one who actually helped her and walked her to the drying station. Mina, on the other hand, is very nice. Thank you for your service. Overall, because of Zala/Zayas poor attitude and service, I was really not impressed today. Mina recieved a tip before I left ;) .....this review is Zayas tip. Everyone have a great day.

They did not say hello, the only thing they said to me was pick a color. From there they pointed or tapped my leg to switch to the other. Completely impersonal or caring. Truly the worst first impression ever, I walked out half way through and the tech or manager did not even say a word just walked away

This place is very clean! I went for my birthday and the staff were amazing. I highly recommend this nail salon!! Very reasonable prices for excellent service.

The place is the best in town! It’s clean, they are nice and timely! The no chip last 2+ weeks and all the staff are great! You are greeted with a smile every time!

We, about 10 of us, came in for a bachelorette party on a Saturday and the ladies were wonderful!!! Very accommodating and friendly!! I will definitely be back!!

I went to this shop with me 23 yr old and my 10 year old daughters we walked in and no greeted us nor did they show any kind of attention. I would not recommend this shop to women of color.

They do great pedicures and the princess pedicure is great for little ones. My daughter loves going with me.
