Highly recommend you consider other options/locations! Have been a Massage Envy member for many years. Terrible customer empathy and service indifference comes across way too easily..... better choices available. Hope your attitude gets fixed faster than your AC. Good luck.
Nice office staff, pleasant and easy to work with. Ive seen probably 4 - 5 diff therapists and theyve been professional, friendly and average. One was so delicate it was essentially Chinese water torture, but the others have been adequate. I have been the last scheduled massage of the day a couple times and the therapists have cancelled on me. To be fair, I cancelled same day once due to a gnarly head cold and they didnt charge me for it 😃. Its difficult to get an appointment. I suspect there are too many clients and not enough therapists.When I tried to cancel my membership bc of the overall hassle (I have 4 credits to use bc I cant get an appt on my days off) I was told I could not. Which is cool and all, my contract specifies this but I wont be renewing due to the lackluster therapy and the hassle finding an appt.I can use my credits at another massage envy my so thats probably what Ill try for the duration of my contract.They also keep trying to get me to schedule a facial which isnt what I signed up for a MASSAGE envy. 😂
I worked here and it was the most disgusting toxic environment I have ever been in the management is absolutely terrible one time a old lady fell outside and they told us not to apologize or bring up the situation in fear of being SUED!! Which should’ve happened the manager Sadie is unethical and shares personal personal information about herself that is unprofessional and unacceptable behavior and the assistant Carrie is a terrible person she is a micromanager and thinks she runs the world because she’s like 70 which I get if I looked like that I would hate life too…
I had a really unpleasant experience with one of the massage therapist at this location. She became verbally accusatory when an error occurred during my checkin. Instead of helping me fix the error she walked out of the room and complained to the front desk. It was completely unprofessional. I never got my massage and instead left with a horrible and stressful experience. I’ve contacted management a couple of times and they’ve never responded.
Management is the reason for the low rating. After years of scheduling weekly sessions for weeks in advance they have now implemented a policy of not more than two future visits can be scheduled. With the best therapists booked 4-6 weeks out it means you can only get two appointments every six weeks.
Got a text confirmation this morning for my appointment 3pm this afternoon. I show up and the place is dark - zero cars in the lot. No one inside, door is locked. I called the number and went to voicemail. Also received confirmations Friday and Saturday for my Sunday appointment. Sign on the door says open 8-8 Sunday. I was at the correct location. Must be out of business?
This location is horrible! I have had 2 massages canceled in the last month. The first one had no explanation, and the second was someone called in sick. I can understand people get sick, but I scheduled these MONTHS ago and now I can’t get onto the schedule for another 6-8 weeks. Unfortunately I have 10 hours banked and will never be able to use them at this rate as more keep accruing. This place is such a scam. They keep charging you a massage a month, but are not able to keep up with the demand. It should be illegal for them to keep charging when they cannot fulfill their end. I have to keep this ridiculous membership to use my other massages I’ve already paid for, but at this rate I’m ready to cut the loss and be done with this place. HORRIBLE! I highly do no recommend using this place.
Dishonest place. They dont even let you cancel in person, just give a random email. Never have therapists available, terrible service...keep raising rates. The worst massage company I have ever used. Dont get sucked into contracts. I have 8 1/2 credits that Ill probably never be able to use because they have way fewer therapists than patrons. I am losing over 700 in credits just to cancel this service. Thats how bad they are.
They are impossible to schedule with. And when you do book something 2+ months out, they cancel it half the time.Today, they texted me to ask if I’d like a 3:00 appt due to a last minute cancellation. I texted back “yes” immediately. I showed up and they said, “ohhh, sorry. Did we text you back? You should have called us to confirm.”Apparently it’s my fault for showing up to an appt they offered me.
While the massages are pretty good, you have to be able to schedule one to enjoy it. I travel pretty consistently for work, and the last several times Ive tried to schedule an appt its been a minimum of two weeks out, and its always during work hours. Also, their website was not work for scheduling, so I called the office to schedule, where I was kindly informed they block out time for new customers. Well, thats great b/c Im a paying monthly member who has to wait over 2 weeks to schedule a massage. I will be cancelling my membership, and going somewhere else, hopefully to a location that rewards loyalty.
I’ve been trying to get a massage scheduled for months and have had an extremely difficult time having anyone call me back. Finally had one scheduled and then was called a day before to say they accidentally booked my 60 min massage in a 90 min slot so would need to reschedule. I would understand if it was the other way around, but this was super frustrating.
I needed to reschedule my 1 hour massage within the 24 hour grace period (Nieces 3rd Birthday party)I understand Policy is that half the price will still be charged, but, the front receptionist was VERY rude and snarky about it. Didnt apologize, didnt try to do ANYTHING in her power to help me out. She was not polite the first time I dealt with her either. I chose to Spend my money with Massage Envy and now I regret it. I will not be recommending this place to anyone, in fact Ill be doing the opposite.Whoever was front receptionist at 3960 River Point Pkwy, Sheridan, CO 80110 at 2:30pm, deserves to be fired.

I was a long time member of this company, moved to Denver and I’m very disappointed with my first massage in a year.They offered a make-up massage, I go and the therapist isn’t fully vaccinated….are you kidding me.I understand it’s a personal choice, really I do BUT it’s my personal choice to leave and I did!Once bitten, twice shy…..this not again!!!!So disappointed coming from another state and having had exceptional, dependable service, what a shame!
I received a deep tissue massage from Christian and it was the BEST massage I’ve ever had. I usually have issues with therapists not applying a firm enough pressure but he did excellent at it. He eased into it, worked out all my knots and released all the tension that I carry on my neck, shoulders and back. Would definitely recommend him! I plan on coming back when I am visiting town again as where I live does not have a Massage Envy. Front staff were very friendly as well.
While the massages were fine, I have had a terrible time dealing with the people that run the place. I came in with a doctors note to cancel my membership. They promised me that the account would be canceled, and that I would not be billed. The next morning, I was indeed billed. When I called and spoke to the manager, she said that she would cancel my membership and refund my card. I was also told that I would receive a confirmation email stating that my membership had been successfully canceled. I still have not received an email or a refund. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and willingness to work with the customer. There is some serious work that needs to be done.
If I could give a zero, I would. This location has the worst guest service associates, with the biggest attitude. This one woman with long brown hair causes the biggest issues for myself. I came in 15 minutes early to my appointment to fill out paperwork and prepay like I normally do. Then all the problems started. Who knew it would be such a hassle to put a gift card into the system? I use to work at massage envy and we have these gift cards we send out to guests to promote our store. I got a gift card in the mail and decided to use it for this session. Well she just couldn’t figure it out, they normally just enter the box that saying exactly what the gift card has on the front. She kept trying to enter a number or scan a code, but when these gift cards are sent out they do not load them before sending them out. The old location a I worked at did not have a scan for the new system meevo. ALL AND ALL this woman couldn’t help me out 5 minutes before my appointment. I work long hours constantly on my feet and this massage was all I was looking forward to. So pro tip, go to ANY other location than this one. Everywhere else has been lovey, and i’ve never had any issues. This location is horrible, and they treat there guests with zero respect.
The Massage Envy Riverpoint were great and the service was great! Way better then Southwest Plaza Massage Envy because they answer the phones, are open when their signs say it is, dont take forever to cancel their membership so you get billed another month, friendlier, and actually have openings for massage pretty much every day. I was surprised on how much availability they had because I had to wait 3 weeks with Southwest plaza and Massage Envy Riverpoint literally could get me in within a couple days. Go here and sign up for the membership here and dont go Southwest Plaza Massage Envy! Great service, massage therapists!
I had been a member for several years and my husband for few years. When we put our home up for sale with intentions to move out of state, I tried to cancel my husbands membership (mine had already been canceled) and was told he still had 4 months left. I put the membership on hold, which expired in July. We stopped by the office over a week ago and spoke with the front desk person who stated he wasnt able to cancel for many more months and stated his membership would auto renew. We told her our story and she said she would check with the new manager and call us back in no later than 2 days and would email us another cancellation form. Its been 10 days with no communication or email. We have placed a stop payment on future charges from our account. Well see what happens. We are totally dissatisfied with the whole membership issue. Its a rip off!
Stretch session was great. My complaint is that the therapists at two locations frequently dont know what treatment I am getting. One time I was supposed to have a hot stone massage. Got the massage, no hot stones. One time I was told to start face down. I was there to be stretched, not a massage. Another time scheduled for stretch, the therapist informed me that wasnt her specialty. Twice I have asked for add ons which I didnt get.
The reason why I’m giving one star is because I encountered a person today that was a front desk manager and she was very rude to me on the phone. Customer service as well as being a manager you have to deal with people and face issues. The issue I had was a threat from another Massage envy in Austin Texas.The problem I have today is that I have asked for my contract not to be given to Austin Texas location and I have privacy issues where under HIPPA There are rules and regulations and I have not given any authority or signed to give my information to any location. All I get from this location is yes you signed up with us. You have to go to your location or your home location but apparently my home location does not have my application that I signed back in 2014. With all respect I have left several voicemails asking for the district manager or the store manager to give me a call I have not heard one yet. I believe if my rights are given to Austin Massage envy such as my application then what I will be doing is filing a lawsuit against this Massage envy. So I have asked several times for help on this issue.Massage envy’s do over charge depending on the state or where you live. I have 16 massages that I have paid for and I was told by a different location that I will have to pay a fee that is more than what I paid for the massage. I think it’s highway robbery and I also think that under my right people need to be aware of what you’re kind of contract you are signing. Also there are several things like if you don’t get a massage all the time they have a tendency to expire. Be aware if I were you to not go to this location because of the help that I have not got from any manager or any person at this location. I’ll have gotten his grief and rudeness. And remember if you want the best massage I hire a private masseuse.
Ive been to a few Massage Envys around Denver but this one is my preferred location. Mostly because my favorite massage therapist, Rich, is there. Ive seen Lauren a couple times too. They are both amazing for good, firm pressure, which I need to work out the pesky knots that are always in my upper back and neck.Amber is who I see for facials and my skin always feels glowing after one here. Ive been less than impressed with the facials at other locations (as in I leave thinking, My skin doesnt look or feel any different. I could have slapped on a mud mask at home). Of course, they always try to sell you on the products that they use during the facial, but they dont press too hard so its not terrible.They recently brought back the hot tea and water pitcher in the waiting area. They used to have lemon and cucumber water plus hot teas when I first started going a few years ago, but then it disappeared for a while. Im glad to see that its returned. Always nice to get there a little early and enjoy a warm cup of herbal tea before a relaxing massage.
I just had my very first massage here. It was great! Very relaxing. I was nervous because Ive never had one before but it exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be back as often as I can! The ladies at the front desk were super nice as well.
Sarah did an excellent job in asking all the areas I needed help with and carried conversation well. Ive been coming here for a while now and havent had a bad experience.My preference for pressure is Mid to High and she did a wonderful job at easing into it and making me relaxed and as well as getting all the knots, tight spots and areas of high stress worked out of my body so that I could feel better. She even found areas of muscle that I was unaware of that had built up tension that she was able to address. I typically go as needed versus monthly for when I have pain or aches and it was a great experience. If you need mid pressure to high pressure massage I suggest Sarah or any of the highly qualified people there!The staff is friendly and accommodating and not too pushy on sales stuff and again I would suggest this location for massage needed.
Very unhappy with the service I received. The lady that did my massage kept lowering and raising the bed as well as pulling a stool around the whole time. The room was very cold, and the lights werent dimmed. The massage wasnt in sync at all, she would do totally different things to one side then the other and for different amounts of time. When I called to let the manager know about my experience the only thing they could offer was me to come back at the entry rate. I would not recommend this location.

Where do I start??I booked a massage and was asked several questions.I was told “Susie Q “would be my massage therapistWhen I arrived they switched therapists?They said “Helga” (names have been changed to protect the innocent) would massage me.I’m an athlete runner , weightlifter, think of myself in great shape. I said Helga would be able to do a deeper massage.I said ok. I stripped down as always and got on the table. When she came in, she asked I put my underwear and shorts on 🙄Ok……?? During the massage every other word way my Fiancé. She talked non stop. She then asked if I had a dog. I told her she just passed away at almost 16 years. All of a sudden crocodile tears were falling on my back and she was sobbing?I go get massages to relax and chill. Non stop talking, and crying on my back is anything but a pleasant experience. When finished . I was paying and they asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I stated I did. The guy said I should leave more??? Really!!They should have paid me to lay thru that experience!10% under the circumstances was more than I wanted truthfully. How rude to even ask!I hear the cherry Creek location is better. I may try that one. But Sheridan Colorado….no way
I had an incredible experience at the Riverpoint location. Cassie was my Massage Therapist and she gave the most relaxing massage with the perfect amount of pressure. Kori, at the front desk, was equally friendly and helpful. I would recommend this location over other ME locations. I was highly impressed.
It is next to impossible to get an appointment at this location. My last appointment here was over six months ago and that was after calling and calling and calling. Someone only answers the phone 1-2 out of 5 times, they have never returned a call when I leave a voicemail, and they don’t put their open appointments in the app (was told this by the receptionist the last time I went in). I’ve been a member since 2016 and since moving away from the location where I originally signed up, it’s just not worth the increases in monthly cost.
I made an appointment online which got canceled without any notification to me whatsoever. I show up to my appointment only to find that the masseuse I was scheduled with called in that day and they were so sorry. No attempt to reconcile the issue, just asked me if Id like to reschedule.Yeah right! I will never ATTEMPT to give my money to this chain again. What a joke.
This is my go-to massage spot, a great membership option that makes a monthly 1hr massage possible. $50 a month. You can also book online or by phone. The receptionists are kind and communicative. The masseuses are strong and attentive. Great spot!
They cancelled my follow up with a really great therapist.. memberships are pricey and youll need to go a lot to have any chance at value.
Although I loved getting my facials here it has been a nightmare working with the office staff. I have moved to Flordia so went into the spa and put my account on hold until I located a location near my new home and transferred it. Not only did they ignore my hold and submit payment, they did it with an account from a bank that has no locations in Flordia. An account I had left with minimal funds to close out my utilities in Colorado. This account is now in the red so I am now forced to pay overdraft fees for their mess up!They even called me before submitting and I reiterated the hold but they submitted anyway! Just to get more money before I transferred the account is my guess!Because of their actions I will be ending my relationship with Massage Envy permanently! Their questionable actions make me uncomfortable doing business with them.
If I could give negative Stars I totally would I cant even describe to you how much I hate Massage Envy. my membership has been cancelled for a while money hasnt been pulled out of my account in about 8 months. Tonight for some reason 60 Buck was taken out of my account and it overdrew my account I am so short on money this month I had a hard time even paying my rent my mom was going to put 20 bucks in my account I checked my account to see if it was in there and I have an overdraft from Massage Envy I was relying on that $20 for my son to have diapers tonight they couldnt even put it back in my account for me to get diapers I have to wait for the general manager who cant even contact me being this upset should be there in the morning to help me with my money situation I will never go to Massage Envy ever again I am going to do everything in my power to get my money back and make sure everyone I know never goes there me and my family will be placing bad reviews on here because not only was the experience not great when I was going there but how the hell are you going to pull money out of my account for no reason out of nowhere when I already am struggling with money I seriously have no clue why that money was taken out I dont understand why it was taken outI have never been this upset with a company I have never had this bad of an experience with anybody it is beyond upsetting that these people sit there and hardly care Im struggling with money and pull money out for no reason after 8 months of money not being taken out I dont understand it I hate you people never expect business from me or my family ever again
I have really good experiences. Only a couple of times have I been disappointed. I have been a member for going on 5 years. I had a pinch nerve and water pocket on my shoulder, i was referred to Kevin, who specializes in sports medicine. He worked out the pinched nerve and after a few sessions i finally got range of motion of my shoulder. I had been seeing kasier doctors prior to seeing him and had two steroid shots. He really helped me out.
A few days ago I came in for a massage and facial. Catalina did my massage and Amber did my facial. Both services were absolutely wonderful! Front desk was very friendly and helpful. I had a great experience.
It might take a few massages to find your preferred therapist, but that is with everyone! Very friendly and polite, quite communicative and support asking questions and furthering understanding of our bodies. Love this, have had a membership for almost a year now!
If you have a membership, you should cancel now. Ten canceled appointments in a row at four different locations, over $700 dollars invested in this terrible corporation.
Zero stars. Two of my massages we cut short there for i paid for time i did not recieve. Manangment refuses to reimburse me for time and money lost. During a facial the steam machine was broken. Overall disappointment regret investing in a membership

You over drew her account after cancelling it after she paid the year..she actually paid 14 months because of you difficult people! Who does that?! She needed money for diapers for my nephew so we sent her the money..and you still pulled it out of her account after her cancelled and got a comfimation frok YOUR office saying it was done and over with and now she cant buy DIAPERS because you keep stealing money from her! I hate to say it because I know so many friends in the massage therapy world, but Christian did not live up to the pricey expectations. his vibes were okay, but practice was below expected. two stars is me trying to be a friendly person.
It would be nice if I could book a facial based on knowing which estheticians would wear a face covering, or know if they’ve had a vaccine for COVID-19.As I cannot wear a mask for a facial, I’d like to choose an esthetician who does so that I can keep my shared air contact to a minimum.
My 1st time getting a massage at a massage envy. Never going back. Worst experience. It was freezing in my room. When I said that the pressure was to much the therapist seemed to get mad then half assed the rest of my massage.
Little confused. Walked in at 4pm after seeing their hours were until 10pm. I asked if they were available for a walk in, didnt mention the service i wanted. There were 6 girls sitting at the desk and they all shrugged and said they were booked up? For everything?! Without looking in the computer? They didnt even offer to schedule anything.This was my first time at message envy, is this just common customer service practices?
