Josephines Salon, Spa & Boutique

We came to Josephines to get our hair and makeup done for my sisters wedding. The staff at Josephines were amazing, professional, and they did awesome job with all of our hair and make-up! They were perfect from the time we called to inquire, to the time we left. All of our hair and makeup held up through an afternoon of photos, a wedding on the beach, and a night of dancing! This is my first review, ever. I brought a dear friend of mine to this salon. The transformation was remarkable. Amy sat with her, ask her all kinds of questions and then proceeded to cut her hair in such a way that my cute little elderly neighbor looks like a cosmopolitan social-lite. I’m not kidding. If I would have known the outcome I would have filmed it. She looks like she just stepped out of a NY salon. I’m in. I’ll forward before and after when I get my turn. I’m so happy for my friend. Let’s see what miracle she can work with me.

Got a great haircut by Amy. You know how hard it can be to align your vision with a new stylist...not an issue. Amy listens and did a wonderful job. I will see her in 5 weeks for sure. I have had some of my best pedicures here, too.

I cant say enough good things about Joy Nelson! She is an awesome hairdresser! She is extremely experienced with color, highlights & cuts! I love my new style she gave me yesterday! You will also love their new larger boutique! So many beautiful things! Great place to do some Christmas 🎄 shopping! I love this salon!

Relaxing atmosphere, clean and service-oriented staff. Nice shoppe with affordable, cute clothes accessories and gifts. Would suggest they share their tipping policy when scheduling. Josephines will be my go-to salon for many i-pedis when we winter in Englewood, FL.

We came here to get hair and makeup done for my wedding. Everyone in my bridal party was absolutely gorgeous! We all had pictures of the hair style we wanted and every stylist was able to execute them perfectly. Holly did my hair and makeup, I was nervous with my makeup staying on or hair staying together.. she took a long time and did everything perfectly!!!!!! Everything stayed in tact through pictures all day in the Florida summer sun, beach wedding and dancing. Everyone was so nice and the prices were perfect. We compared 6 other salons before choosing this one, we definitely made the right choice!

Judy Huess is the best! She has been my go-to hair person for about three years. She always keeps me looking fresh, up-to-date and modern looking. Every time I go get my hair done, I come out looking younger. I highly recommend Judy to everyone I meet. She is GREAT! I enjoy Josephines Salon and Spa very much. I am a local Realtor, and I don’t offer or take reviews lightly. My clients depend on an honest opinion, especially if their new to the area. I have been going to Josephines now for about 2 years, for both hair and nail services. The salon is very well maintained - clean, stylish, and very comfortable. And, even more important, the staff is pleasant, knowledgeable, and very professional. My nail tech is Renee Soucy, and she’s top notch! I have a pedicure every 5 weeks and receive compliments from week 1 to 5. The job she does just holds up over time, and is well worth the time so I always have a professional look. Although my hair stylist recently moved on to pursue other options, the services she provided were always excellent. They offer many experienced stylists to choose from. Check out Josephines whether you’re in town for the season or you’re a resident. You won’t be disappointed!

Tatiana is absolutely wonderful. I have been getting tape-in hair extensions with her for months now and truly enjoy going to see her. She is talented and is amazing at her craft! I have natural curly hair, and Joy Nelson was by far the best stylist I have ever had. She is so professional, and you can tell by the cut she is so experienced. She looks at your hair and gives great suggestions. She took so much time with me. Loved the cut!

Gave myself a treat, having a manicure, pedicure, and hair style at Josephines yesterday. I got such rave reviews from my family that I felt I should also give them a great review. Jessica did my hair and Renee did the mani-pedi. My daughter said I look younger with the hair style and my son-in-law said he would “introduce” me to my husband because he won’t recognize me! What fun! Everyone at Josephine’s was friendly. I would highly recommend them.

I’ve been to a couple of spas where I’ve felt like I’ve gotten the same massage as everyone else but I booked an appointment with Angela and got so much more than I expected. She took the time to ask about what my body needed and I got cupping, scrapping, and hit with the massage gun and walked out feeling like a million bucks. Thank you for the great friendly service!

I was Lucky enough to come across Josephine and her staff on my last trip to FLA. Wow this place was a treat! EVERY staff member shook my hand, made me feel welcome, and I even got a tour of their beautiful place. Heather is amazing, I always admire when people can be so slammed at their job and do it with such grace, and Heather seems to make every one in the room smile with her while she is doing a zillion other things. Mel did a great job on my haircut. Its time for my next haircut, and I m tempted to go back to FLA just to get her to cut it again. Seriously..........she is a very talented stylist ! I came there for my second time looking for some color correction and a healthier hairstyle. Kayla delivered a great overall color putting dimension and richness back into my hair with great color application and threw in some fresh layering to bring my hair to a style I’m super happy with! I went for a wax and told the lady I had allergies and asked before putting anything on me please let me know what was in the products. At the end she put on an oil before saying anything to me. Then when I asked her what ingredients it contained she was very vague and unsure exactly what was in it. I normally am red after a wax the day I have it done. 2 days later I was very red still and itchy so obviously I had a reaction and for several weeks my eyebrows would itch several times a day. Also I had my eyebrows done and had pointed out a place where hair no longer grows and I said I wanted them thin enough so that spot couldnt be seen. She only waxed the stray hairs and didnt thin them out at all. My brows looked exactly the same as when I went in so later that day I had to tweeze them myself. And compared to other places this salon is overpriced! I will NOT go back again!

A close friend of ours told us about Josephine’s so I set my wife up with an appointment. She absolutely loves this place and is already setting up her future appointments. The whole staff is super friendly and we give them 5 stars all the way around !

I love this salon. very accommodating with appointments. prices are reasonable color is 65.00that includes wash an style. cut is extrareasonably clean shop floor could be swept an washed better. i love this assortment of products.They offer a plethora of services. i think this salon is wonderful

This place is beautiful, and Joy gave me a great haircut! I went when it wasnt busy, and I loved how it looked inside. The haircut itself was kind of aggressive (my head got shaken around a lot), but I think it was worth it!

I definitely didnt feel welcome. The lady that I had kept huffing everytime she had to do something regarding my pedicure. I really wanted to relax today but it was made impossible by the lady that was helping me. Disappointing because im sure the experience was made this way by the lady that helped me. I actually left because of her attitude. Otherwise it seems like a nice place.
