Relaxation Sensation(Massage Flemington)

Terrible. The place is clean, but that’s where the compliments stop.I get massages regularly on a bi-weekly basis. My regular massage place changed to new owners and so I decided to give this place a try.I went on a Tuesday at 1:30 and the place was empty. I asked for 1 hour. A young girl started and about 10 minutes into the massage, the older lady (I assume the owner) came in and started massaging me as well.She was very rough, pulling my hair at times, and asked me all kinds of personal questions such as why I don’t have children and why is my back so tight. Also they were speaking to each other in Chinese the ENTIRE time. Completely unprofessional and not relaxing in the least. She also asked me if I was paying with cash or credit card DURING my massage.At 28 minutes in, she stopped massaging, got hot towels and informed me they had lots of upcoming afternoon appointments. I was very confused but got up and went to the front to pay. I was charged $60 for 28 minutes.I paid but making note that it will be my last visit there. I spoke to my mom who went there 2 weeks prior and they did the same thing to her. 2 people massaging you for half hour but charging one hour.The young girl didn’t seem to know what she was doing and both of them were very erratic and all over the place. My back and neck hurt worse now after.Also, I sat in the parking lot for a good 25 minutes afterward and there was no one coming or going.Just want to warn anyone so you don’t make the same mistake I did. I wasted $80 with tip for a half hour of aggravation.

Update July 2021...I had my last appointment here last week after being a regular for 9 months seeing the friendly and smiling faces of John, Lily, Annie, Xixi, Judy and a few others. Sometimes I went for 60 minutes and sometimes 90, but they were always good and thorough. They are now all gone and it is not the same attention to detail. This was the first time that I ever had an hour massage with all 60 minutes being face down. I will be taking my regular business somewhere else from now on...9 months earlier...I had my first visit to Relaxation Sensation and it was great. One of the best massages that I have ever had. Lily was awesome. I will be back.

This business has gone downhill since all the regulars left. I was there on Tuesday recieved the worst massage I ever gotten she even bruised me. Could not function well on Wednesday at my physical job due to muscle aches and being off balance. Went in on Friday to tell her about my experience on Tuesday. Asked her to fix me she said sure come back at 200. I did and she had the nerve to charge me another 60 dollars and toldMe it would be 64 if I put it on my charge. I expected to pay something but I also expected her to compromise and make it right I tipped 15$ on Tuesday. When I tipped her 10 $ on Friday she had the gumption to say 10 dollar no good should be 15 dollar. I will be taking my monthly business elsewhere

Not want I wanted. I wanted an entire body massage which I repeated ask for and demonstrate but the masseuse only massage my back. She stop every time someone walked in the door and short me of the hour massage. When it was all done I still wanted to give her a tip and she demanded $15.00 tip.If she had give me what U wanted. The entire body massage the $15.00 tip would worth it.

The massage was good. I had asked for neck, shoulders and upper back. The therapist was strong enough even though she was a small person. It was very Asian inside which I didnt expect from the outside. Very dark inside and no calming music. I would go again. Price was fair.

Great place for a real Chinese massage anytime of day, very friendly, clean and appreciative of your business. Usually no wait, someone is available most of the time and they are open late. They are experienced masseuses from China and some have experience from Japan, they find the problem areas and focus on them using multiple techniques and styles in the session, walking on my back is my favorite. Many times they ran over time at no additional cost. Dont expect a lot of talk, their English is rough, but they will work you like a baker kneeding dough if you tell them to. Did a 4 hands massage, big difference in working the muscles, it works opposite muscles that unknowingly tense up when a single person is working a single group. Takes half the time, sore muscles feel much better, Ill take that over having a meditative experience.

I had to say this place was really amazing, my shoulder was really sore and tight due to busy work, a friend of mine recommended me this place, so I decided why not have a try. And it turned out to be an amazing experience.The therapist was really experienced and help me relaxed from head to toe, my shoulder was so relief after 90 min body massage. Will be back!

Seeing this recent reviews,was really on point. Me and my gf went there after not going there in forever,we stop going bc Jon and unee left back to their country.so we went yesterday bc our new regular spot was all booked up.i feel like they dont know what their doing.for an hour we were on our backs..they used a ton of oil and was overly rough and was moving to fast and trying to hard.they was trying to do all types of stuff that did nothing .. basically slid back n forth down our bodys ..the only good part was the rocks and hot towel. Also kept scratching me .today Im in pain,worse then I was B4 the massages..now we have to wait until Monday when we off of work

Ok, their mastery of the English language is lacking. However, every single massage therapist I have had has been really very good. One man, who goes by the name Jon, is phenomenal. I am a competitive powerlifter and need stretching and deep tissue massage often. He knows my body better than I do. Ive been a client for around 3 years now and I will continue to go there.

I’ve been coming here twice a month for about two years. They provide services on par or better than places like massage envy and other more boutique facilities. You get a full hour for a lot less and the massages are very good.

Have been a client of Relaxation Sensation at both the former Phillipsburg and current Flemington locations for several years. They are highly professional and skilled in both comfort and therapeutic massage. Pre-COVID was there twice a month or more. Their deep tissue massage, recommended by my orthopedic, is well suited for actives and athletes. Frankly, is the very best I’ve experienced. There can be a bit of a language barrier, but with patience on both parties is easily rectified. Highly recommended!

Dont go there. That type of place. The masseuses cant even speak English. When you pay them they point to a sign with the price. I waited 10 minutes because my masseuse didnt know that they dont take American Express. I had to wait until she got the manager. Stay away!!

This place is consistently pretty good, its just hard to tell them exactly what you want due to language barrier. No appointment needed and open late. Wendy and lulu are prefered for deep tissue.

There reflexology foot massage is fabulous especially if you can go during the week when they have a special promotion! Great for deep tissue!! Highly recommend!

Billboard sign outside $35/ hr for reflexology. Went in and they refused to acknowledge the special.. wanted $50.I walked out !!!Big scam!

Beware. After asking for payment upfront they then overcharge your credit card.

Excellent oriental massage and Bodywork. Deep work, good use of points , mixed techniques.

They do not charge advertised price ~ they charge more and do not speak English. It is not a relaxing place.
