Ive been a loyal customer of Mankind for the last six years, and I cant speak highly enough about my experiences there. The staff is incredibly friendly and always goes out of their way to make sure you feel welcome, accommodated and the cold beer does not suck either lol. The quality of the barbers is top-notch; no matter who you see, you can trust that youll walk out with a fantastic cut.One of the things I appreciate most is the consistency--whether youre with your regular barber or trying someone new, the results are always spot-on. The shop itself is impeccably clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfortable atmosphere. Plus, the convenience of their location and flexible hours make it easy to fit a visit into a busy schedule. Mankind has truly set the standard for what a great barbershop experience should be.

Best place for a man to get a haircut man’s facial . So far everyone that I have went to has been very helpful. It’s nice to have a men’s spa. That you can have an adult beverage wile your hair is getting cut and beard tape . I will be back again! Great first my first time seeing this place. I will definitely be going back!

I read that Anna specializes in scissor mens cuts. I have really frizzy, curly, dry hair which belongs nowhere near a buzzer. As described on the website, Anna only used scissors and it was one of the cleanest, most precise scissor haircuts Ive had in a while. Thank you, Ill be back!

Was working in the area, made an appointment for a cut. I was blown away over the place, the girls, and the cut. Amazing concept beer or wine while you wait. Pool table, and awesome girls ready to cut your hair. Ask for George (its her nickname) best time I ever had with her. But they all seem the same nice looking and fun personalities. Tip big they deserve it.

Found this spot by accident and what an absolute gem. Needed a hair cut and got a lot more. Was staying in the area for a few days and needed a trim but never expected to get a beer with it.

Good haircut. Expect to pay the standard 50 bucks for men’s cuts. I give a 4 star because the booking process is rudimentary at best. You should have a profile with at least a picture and a small background of your stylists…

I’m a pretty busy guy and usually get a quick haircut by my local barber on the corner because I usually only have 30mins and I don’t have to make an appointment. I try to set aside sometime at the end of the year for a full service treatment so today I blocked off my afternoon and I booked a cut, beard trim, and massage. The cut and beard trim were fine but I thought it was supposed to come with a hair wash too, it wasn’t discussed or even offered. The beard trim was with some clippers and then a handheld electric razor. No straight razor or warm foam, just about a 90 second once over with the clippers. The massage ended up getting canceled because the employee got into a fender bender and didn’t make it into work and I guess there was no back up. This was my second time in and the experience was completely different and not for the better. For $95 I was expecting much more and got much more my last visit. They offered me a discount on the massage due to the employee no show but I can’t say I’ll be using it. Walked out of the place wondering what I just paid for.

Went in for the first time. Got a pedicure and a beard trim. I must say, the ambiance and service were top notch! I didnt expect some of the drinks to be complimentary. Blew me away. Looks like I found my new self grooming home. Eventual I will try the massage services as well. Cant wait to go back for my next session/service!

The dip and clip is a cut and shampoo but they Forgot the dip with my husbands clip, however he said he still really liked the haircut, shave and massage...and would definitely go back. The atmosphere is inviting and the bar area/pool table is a nice touch. The staff is super friendly.

Love this place! They stay busy because they are very good! I go there for more than 1 service. All their barbers are excellent. I got the massage membership since all the girls are amazing! I recommend calling ahead and scheduling because things get booked fast. I switched my barber shops I used to go to for this one. Since many people are are very skilled.

Loved it. Went early on a Saturday morning. Appointment was started right on time, and took less time than necessary. This place is great. Pool table, bar, spa all in a barber shop. Since it was my first time I made an appointment with the first person I saw had availability on the website. Monica will be cutting my hair moving fwd. Slight change to the haircut style I was used to getting. But, a welcome one. Ive gotten several compliments since getting this cut. I also did a beard trim w her, and that came out great. 10/10. Will go back to man kind and to monica. She did an awesome job.

This place rocks. I have been coming here since it opened 7 years ago and have not strayed once. The whole staff is warm and friendly and very professional. I have recommended many people. They are very accommodating and have taken care of me and my son. Lee the owner is very attentive to his business. One time he called me after my haircut to see if I was happy with it. Ive been getting my cut from Michelle and she is the best! She knows how I like it cut and how my son likes his and does it perfectly every time. The whole place is very relaxing and is my little getaway from a very busy work life. Thank you for opening such a great shop!

I have been going going to this place for more than a year since two closest friends highly recommended and they were right . I am giving five stars to this place because of the quality of the stylists . I have tried many of the stylists but Chad is taking care of my hair for a few months already and I am very content with his professionalism and quality of his service . Also the place is really cozy and clean .The only feedback I would give to the owners would be about the Reception part , I would suggest more consistency with the attention and customer service of whoever is checking in or charging you at the end of your service .Most of the girls are really attentive and professional and very present when you are in front of them but others really are not consistent with that which I think is very important as a part of the whole experience .The minimum you would expect is at least eye contact , smile and offer you the complimentary drink . Also more consistency in playing nice music .Overall as I said in the beginning I do love this place .My friends and I always try to match our appointments so we can catch up with a drink :)Amazing place !!!Roberto .

Today I had one of the best massage I’ve had in a very long time. Massage Therapist Summer was phenomenal. She was very attentive in reducing stress, pain and tension throughout my body. I left feeling relieved and relaxed.

My past boyfriend would go there for color on his beard and hair and of course a trim and haircut and he loved it. Theres a pool table, a bar with some draft beer you can drink while you are either waiting for your person or getting groomed yourself. Its a very high class place a tiny bit pricey but not terrible. Worth every penny!!

1st time here and I’ll certainly be back! Great place! Great professional friendly service. Was offered a beer right when I came in - served in a frosty glass mug too! Sports on the TV’s and great music playing. Oh, and Heather did a fantastic job with my head shave and beard trim!

I had a great hot shave today here that felt more like a facial.Barber was very personable and professional. Place is very nice and right on South Federal Highway. Only reason I do not give the place 5 stars is the incompetent woman checking people in and out of the place. She told me my card was declined as I was checking-out and paying... I called my bank to inquire about this and was told she had entered incorrect information as she processed my payment. I will be back though and highly recommend the place for haircuts, hot shaves, etc.

This place is amazing. First off, the atmosphere is one of a kind, and the complimentary beer was awesome. I got my hair cut by jimmy, who was quick and nailed the look I was going for, rather quickly at that. He said he had been cutting hair since the 60s, and I believe it. Will be coming back, and I will be scheduling with jimmy.

Frosting on the cake...Had the same girl cut my hair for about 3 years just found out she was leaving, but have had other people there cut my hair and it is always good.They do massages and other services as well.

Not much to say except when you call Mankind, ask for Marlene…she is passionate about her craft and will sculpt you well!Update: Marlene is now gone, why I have no idea? But the woman running the place (don’t even remember her name?), who has always given me an unfriendly vibe from my first time- even whispering under her breath when handing me over to Marlene, “this one is a weird one” had no interest in helping me connect with Marlene or even explaining what happen to her…if they did fire her it just goes to show?

Elisa cleaned up my hair and made my side part perfectly lined. Overall a relaxing experience… I’ll be back!

My boyfriend had previously gone to ManKind twice but on his 3rd visit, I was highly disappointed. For $38, I would expect a pretty good haircut, especially considering his hair is simple - a basic fade. However, when he returned home with a haircut that I could have done had I placed a bowl over his head and shaved around it, I was frustrated that he paid $38 plus tip. We had a special dinner the night of his haircut so we ended up shaving his entire head.

I fully recommend this place to anyone that wants a great hair cut. Ask for Monica when you make an appointment. Shes very personable, friendly and knows what shes doing. This establishment has earned my business as a loyal customer!

Besides talented barbers and an overall amazing atmosphere, the massage I received from Johana is one of the best Ive ever had. I joined the membership program and enjoy the one stop shop experience along with the modest prices.

Went there to get my boyfriend a straight razor haircut and a beard trim. The place and atmosphere was nice and over the top. Haircut was very good but the beard trim was more like a beard chop not even at all. I had to fix it myself once we got back home. Very disappointed with Heather. My boyfriend didnt want to hurt her feelings and told her he liked it, considering it was already too short and couldnt change it. I loved how full his beard was and had enjoyed running my fingers thru it but now I have to wait another 3 months or more to do that again. Will never go there again due to that. She should have made sure to trim not chop or cut short unless its what is requested my boyfriend said not to take off the length. Be careful.

I have been purchasing gift cards from Mankind for years now and have never been disappointed in anything during my visits in. Yes, I only go in for purchases but find the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. The shop itself is Amazing inside and out! They have such cool décor for guys, Im almost jealous! Girls get the frilly stuff and these guys get beer on tap, sports on tv, a pool table, awesome fire pit outside, even a show shine chair!! Ive never once had a complaint from my boyfriend when he goes, therefor its the Best place for treating your guy!

My son needed a hair cut. So i took him to mankind. I was blown away by the care and professionalism his barber Alfi had. At the beginning of my 17 month old sons hair cut he was crying & miserable. Just by the way Alfi was speaking to him and reassuring him it was ok, he became calm. Towards the end my son was loving his reflection and the response he was getting from his new haircut. I came in prepared to have a traumatized baby and left mankind with a little man. They truly make you feel like family! And i would recommend mankind, especially Alfi, to anyone! Now i have an upscale barbershop to take my son to. Affordable. Worth the handsome tip. Alfi has us to add to his exstensive list of regulars.Thank youSarah Y.

My beard was massacred. The girl did not know what she was doing. I had to go home and cut more off to salvage some type of style. I had a $60 gift card that I told them to keep it even though the assault on my beard was $20 I knew I wasnt going back. Im going back to Buck and Beard!

Not accomodating at all or pleasant to speak with when making or changing an appointment. Courteously called to let them know id be only 5 minutes late and its like the world was about to end. For an overpriced hair cut, they should be more accommodating. Will find someone who is.

Ive been to many places around town but I love Mankind because of Mandi. I drive almost an hour to see her because she actually understands that haircuts are based on head shape not just style and completely fixed my hair

It was the worst experience I have ever had in a barber shop. Chad the guy that took care of my hair cut and beard trimming was really unexperienced , socially ackward, really slow. The price.... oh my god 55$ for that , it is mind blowing. The place was kinda cool tho and the end result was good.

So i went here due to my usual barber at The Barbers Bar (off of A1A) being on vacation. Mankind owns Barber Bar and theyre $10 more than the Barbers Bar. After my haircut at Mankind i asked why its so much more the woman said its a spa, so its more Mankind did the same exact thing Barbers Bar did, NOTHING different. I didnt get anything special like beard trimming or anything like that. I thought it was kind of a crappy answer. I live downtown and can walk 5 mins to get there but i will never go back here. You can find better, cheaper elsewhere.

I always leave satisfied with my haircut, which is something that has never happened to me at any barbershop lol. The costumer service is always SO GOOD.

You really gonna spend 50+ on a haircut? First, only and last time. All I asked for was a outline and to clean my face I barely had facial hair I swear to God and they charged me $55. Its $15-$20 anywhere else.

This place is more then just a barber shop. They offer many services and they even have a bar. If you havent been here yet its definitely worth checking out.

Their clean up is a complete waste of money. They did absolutely nothing. Claimed they would clean edges, beard, neckline, and eyebrows. Nothing looks even slightly different than it did before I spent the $25 on that complete waste of time. If you want anything tapered down to the skin, be ready to spend $40 for a mediocre product.

Did not get any of the advertised services, except for a rushed haircut. $38 is a bit steep for a haircut. 1st and last time.
