Had a great ol time. The band was cool. Rocked out all night til they shut it down. My date (Visiting from 🇧🇷 Brazil 🇧🇷) Loved it. She even recommended the place. 😁

I love this place. Its a cozy venue with a bar, about 8-12 tables, a small stage, and a little dance floor. But Dont let that fool you! The food is decent, the staff are great- they have that small business vibe where they treat you like family 😊, and the crowd is of diverse age and color All looking to have a great time🎷💃💃🏾. This place does Not disappoint!! Here youll see mostly mid aged-older adults 30s-100...the more mature crowd we shall say all happy and laughing. The band is Absolutely great, especially the lead female singer🔥!! They play all the fun classics and will definitely have you singing and dancing the night away. If youre lucky, youll get to catch the older blind man (a former band dancer I hear) showoff his impressive moves...hes Still Got It🕺🏽!!!

We had a great time at Blue Jean Blues. We went a couple of times during our stay in fort Lauderdale. It is a blues place so the music was really soulful and the sound was great. It was loud, so hard to speak to each other but it was really good music. Unlike another place we went down by the beach that also has live music, but that place the patrons managed to be louder than the band so we did not find that enjoyable. However blue Jean blues is a smaller venue so its more intimate, but still has room for dancing. The drinks were great, we went on Monday when the martinis were all half of and we also went on a Friday to their outdoor block party. Had a great time both times.On Friday we both had hamburgers and they were the best hamburgers we could remember having in a very long time. I had the smokehouse burger and my partner had the Blue Jean Black and Blue. Absolutely amazing burgers and really great fries.This place is really worth a visit.

Only pay parking everywhere. Older crowd Im almost 70 saying this. The bartender was very nice and helpful. The band was great Valerie Tyson and still no big crowd pull.

We came in to listen to some live music after dinner last Sunday. The band we heard was great! Unfortunately, we came later so we didnt get to hear their whole set, but we wish we would have come earlier to hear it all. After that, the bar was trying a new karaoke/sing along thing for fun...and it was fun! Very causal and friendly. It wasnt super busy, being it was later on a Sunday, so they let my husband sing a couple of songs in a row even. They were super encouraging as well. Maria and the rest of the staff made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The drinks were great and we had a blast.

Very cool place! Very soulful atmosphere! The music is great! Dont believe the bad reviews! The waiters are polite and always on the alert! They try very hard, and they are highly respected that they can serve a lot of people quickly! We will definitely come to you again!

My wife and I stumbled into this establishment on a Friday night and were glad we did! Live performers! Great drinks! And best of all a very friendly, welcoming crowd! Good time had by all! ( Shout out to the twins!)

We decided to give this bar a try. The show was entertaining.Do not think you will find a young crowd here, mostly everyone was older than us and we are no spring chickens!We could only order pretzels and french fries since we are vegan.The place was pretty warm, especially where we sat, close to the windows. Bathroom was spotless.We might go back to spend a few hours drinking a beer and listen to some music.

Cute lil Bar - we were in town and came for the live music, to our surprise the food was Delicious!!! We dined on the fish dip and Ahi Tuna - which was AWESOME we came back the next day! Our waiter Jonathan was the best!

Valerie Tyson jazz band was excellent. Her interaction, her music, her voice was awesome.The atmosphere was vibrant, cosy and inviting. The only downfall was the food and menu choices. Definitely needs to be upgraded.

Absolutely love this place! You will always find amazing talent rolling through nightly with a variety of music genres and some of these folks will really floor you. The food is surprisingly awesome! Haven’t had something from here that I haven’t liked and I’ve tried the pizza, wings, quesadillas, chicken tenders, and a few other things (I’m a frequent flyer lol!). Drinks are great too and you can always find specials like Happy Hour or Martini Mondays. Check out the pear martini if you ever get a chance, my favorite. On cooler nights, seating can be offered outdoors. Such a great spot!!!

Went to see my friends band. We were the first ones there because we wanted to eat. We ordered a pizza at 6:00 before the band started. We were one of the only tables occupied. After watching orders of food coming out we asked our waiter where our pizza was since we had ordered before anyone else had even gotten there. He said it was coming. An hour later we were told that our order had gotten lost and it would take a long time if we ordered again. We were so hungry at that point that we left and went to another restaurant. Only got to hear my friends band for 45 minutes. Rated the food a 1 star because well...... we never ate !!

2nd review - I am at Blue Jean Blues once a week and it has consistently great music and awesome, festive atmosphere!A good friend moved to Fort Lauderdale and we met her neighbors at Blue Jeans Blues on Friday night. Loved the entire area - great for listening to live music and walking around. BJBs has both outdoor and indoor live music. The Lucky Losers were playing inside, and I couldnt find the name of the band on the outside, but the lead female vocalist was awesome. We sat outdoors most of the evening where they also had an outdoor grill with inexpensive hot dogs, hamburgers, brats and sausage. We didnt eat but the restaurant is known for their pizza. I only had sparkling water, but I loved the music and the atmosphere, and we will be back here a lot. Highly recommend !

Guitarist in our Blues band in Pittsburgh Pa. told me of the place while visiting.. Visited on Sunday 3/24 for 4-7 Happy Hour. Food specials on bar as well as drink specials and sign saying no 3% surcharge if paying cash. Very friendly people as well as bartender Richard. Entertainment was excellent by the singer doing some Prince and Commodores. People us dancing and having fun on FunDay Sunday. Wish had a open mic night for out of towers to get up and play a couple of tunes.. Karoke on I believe Thursdays. Will definitely recommend and be back. Did nt get to meet Twin owners as identical Twin myself.

This place is a joke with reservations. Made reservations to see VALERIETYSON Band online on April 1st for the 30th. We are from out of town enjoying our anniversary & wanted to hear some great live music. Well, unfortunately, they didn’t have our table & the management (The Twins) wasn’t beneficial. Their attitude was terrible:-(If you’re coming from out of town, call ahead to check your reservations. We decided to head on down to La Olas for night time fun!

Great spot i went on a Tuesday and it was pretty full. the app didn’t capture my reservation..so we waited for table to open and end up sitting with a woman and she brought in a very large DOG he was under the table. she keep feeding the dog food from her plate and DOG kept farting!! it was HORRIBLE!! She was up dancing and having fun left his smelly Butt at the table torturing us!! SOOO NOT OK!! “Service dog” The manager walked past and said so cute huh..we all said NO ITS NOT CUTE!! Hope to try visit one day MINUS the big dog under the table!!

We had a great time listening to Lulu and the band! Everyone was enjoying dancing and listening to the music. The pizza and salad was great!

I went on a Saturday night to enjoy some live music and good food. The place was packed not one empty seat, so It is best to make your reservations in advance if it is your first time visiting like me. Thankfully I read reviews and made my reservation. The V band was really good. I love that its a diverse crowd and the band played a mixed genre of music as well. Initially, one of the female bartenders took our drink order but she came off very rude and just seemed like she did not want to be at work that night. She took one of our drink orders then went to walk away. We had to tell her we were not done ordering, and she rolled her eyes as if she was annoyed. Very unprofessional and unfriendly. Took us over 30min to get the drinks. Thankfully another waiter brought them out to us and took our food order. He was very professional, friendly, and attentive. I think he took care of almost every table that night. His name was Mike or Chris, I forgot. The prices were a little high and the food quality was good and it was all hot when it came out. Overall, it was ok. I wouldnt mind going back again as long as I do not get the same bartender.

Cool small place with good food and live bands that change. Came on a Monday night to watch a friend play drums and it was fun.Ordered pretzels and they were yummy. So was the peppermint martini.The whole place was managed by a set of identical blonde twins. We didn’t notice when we first got there and sat at the bar. We noticed after we had ordered our drinks and the other half came and asked us if we had been taken care of.We will definitely be coming back to listen to more bands. Music wasn’t too loud and you could talk to others without having to scream at each other.

Most tables are reserved for the 5 pm show start, so call ahead if you dont want to sit at the bar. Take your selfish with the sculpture of the Blues Brothers and enjoy the show.

What an amazing night we had last night. I organized a work event here at Blue Jean Blues! As soon as I saw the line up for Tuesday nights with Valerie Tyson, I knew we had to have our event on a Tuesday night! She did not disappoint! We were on the dance floor grooving with her and her amazing band. We had a wonderful time! The food, drinks, and ambience was fantastic!!! We will definitely return!!

Came on Thursday night. Great place. Band was good, not too loud(sat at the bar away from the stage). Crowd is mostly respectable adults 40 and up..The twin barmaids were very attentive and friendly. Food/drinks: pretty typical bar fare. Not bad. Not cheap but not too expensive either. Really loved the ambience...very positive and kind vibe/energy. Maybe it was the band.

Family in town so we hung out after a long rainy day. Found this place in Google search & chose thinking was a chill jazz place. Was more blues style rock cover band. They werent bad just not what we expected.One sister had a burger which she said was good. Service was good, didnt wait long for a server to approach; check back on us. This establishment has a good atmosphere, and descent music. Overcrowded, and the wait staff was overwhelmed with the amount of people they had there. They catered mostly to a birthday party that was there. We tried to order more drinks several times, and attempted several times to get the wait staff attention, but they were more focused on the party group. We ordered one drink over an hour ago, the wait staff would walk by point at my wife for her drink and still never produced her drink if your hosting a party, have enough staff to cover the group, and your other patrons that are there. I somewhat recommend this establishment, somewhat. First time here, and maybe my last. If I was a critic, I give this place 2 out of 5 stars.Lester

Had a amazing time. Saw the band and got to spend time safely out with family.

It was a very mixed experience. The musician was amazing and it could have been great but the bartender really ruined it. We waited 30 minutes at the bar for her just to come over and take our order, she came back 10 minutes later to ask what we had ordered and it was probably another ten minutes before we got our drinks. We got pretzel bites and I would have expected to get more than 6 tiny bites and no silverware or napkins. When we got our bill she had overcharged us as well. I’m hoping it was just an off night but considering we were there early evening and they were no where near full it was pretty disappointing.

Great place to listen and danve to some great jazz and blues. Had chicken quesadillas and margaritas...all great! If you are visiting...this place is highly recommend...just one thing...you have to call before 2p on event nites...trust me...place gets packed.👍

The food was pretty good. The place was packed though. Music was very good. Where we were sitting though, next to the tiny dancefloor spot, WAY too many people wanted to dance at the same time and we couldnt see the stage anymore...people were hovering over our table trying to dance. Our table even got knocked a few times.Maybe expand the dancefloor and dont put tables so close to it...

One of our favorite clubs. Blue Jean Blues is a blues, rock, jazz, and soul music club that has live entertainment 7 days a week. It attracts both locals and people visiting Fort Lauderdale looking for a cool place with good food and good music. The owners are there most every night ensuring that the place is running smoothly - and it usually is. It can get crowded on some nights when a particularly popular artist is performing. Food is typical bar food - but its done better than most. The pizza is outstanding! Wife particularly loves the sweet potato wedges. Blue Jean Blues is a great place for a night out both during the week or on the weekends. Suggest reservations if you want a table.

Service shortfall seems to be a common theme here. The music was great. Staff seriously overwhelmed on a Friday night. Pizza was tasty but mushy and greasy. Chicken quesadilla arrived without chicken. We chose not to complain, about the food, since the wait for our food order was easily 1 hour. What can I say? Don’t go there hungry?

This place is incredibly overpriced for the quality of service and food. Waited over 15 to even be acknowledged by the bar tender (there were only 5 ppl in the entire restaurant). I came for live music and was just overly disappointed. Tab was over 100$ for wings, calamari (inedible) and 3 drinks (which were over 15$ each and served in a plastic cup). There are many many many other options extremely close by (Dune for example) that have a much better overall atmosphere and beach front, that it would cost you the same.

Favorite place in Broward for a night out, hands down! Great beer selection, excellent seared ahi tuna and best of all the bands that play every night of the week.

Want to start by saying didn’t order anything. Didn’t have a glass of water even. Just took a friend visiting from out of town but was my first time there. Looked at Facebook and Internet website before going to get idea of place. See who was playing and what genre of music. Nothing is stated regarding $5 cover charge or 2 drink minimum. Arrived, and the door is unmanned. My friend and I walk in and sit down with another couple. After an hour a waitress comes over and asks if we want anything. I say no, friend said water. Woman brings water and then says there’s a $5 cover charge tonight. Friend says are you charging us because we aren’t buying drinks. No acknowledgment of my friend. No conversation or statement of the 2 drink minimum or that we are being charged $5 because we aren’t eating or drinking. I would have left before I arrived if I knew there was a 2 drink minimum because I don’t drink. After another hour as music is winding down, we decide to leave. After we’ve left the building the woman comes out ranting about the cover charge. I said very calmly ma’am why am I being charged and didn’t even have water, and was left sitting an hour without acknowledgement? She mentions the cover charge again. I gave her $5 while mentioning that no where does it say there’s a $5 cover charge. She attempts to point to a very tiny chalk board in a very dark spot on the building very illegible writing mentioning the $5 cover. I said ma’am no way did we see that and no one is working the door presenting an expectation to your customers. She didn’t even know if we were old enough to be in the bar. I would never go back because they are unorganized and rude. Make the rules clear, acknowledge customers when they enter and be sure to post the cover charge and drink minimums in writing on all platforms so there’s are no surprises or room for confusion. I will have to listen to jazz and blues at other venues in broward county because blue Jean blues 👎🏽 #professionalismiskey

My girlfriend and I went to this bar hoping to get some pizza. It was Thursday evening and the bar was fairly empty. We sat at the bar and we were one of two couples at the bar. We waited a few minutes before being acknowledged. Finally, the waitress, Lisa (only heard her name from the couple next to us asking for her name), asked what we would like to drink. My girlfriend suggested we order right away since she already had a feeling it would take a while. So, right away we ordered an appetizer and pizza along with the drinks. We got our drinks 20 minutes later. We waited another 40 minutes and finally I flagged Lisa to ask about the food. She asked who took our order? I told her she did and she rolled her eyes, walked to the computer and just then entered the order. I asked her how much longer will it take and she snapped her fingers saying the appetizers may be quick but not the pizza. At that point I told her we have been waiting close to an hour and she never entered the order. I asked her to cancel the food order and give us a check for the drinks.Prior to that I saw Lisa chugging a shot, but never acknowledging us.Horrible experience, the waitresses are beyond ignorant and seems like there is no organization as to who should be tending to customers. Will never go back to this bar.

Ok, BJB aka Blue Jeans Blues, is a Hidden Jewel! They serve not your average bar food, respectable drinks and Real Live music. The location, is tucked away in-between a group of stores, restaurants, and bars. Its Dark (dont be deterred) inside all the time even though Happy Hour starts at 11 am. (There are little cafe tables/chairs outside if you need a dose of light😎) The Bartenders are welcoming, kind and funny! The location is prime for tourists (being centrally located near the hotels, intercoastal and beaches, however BJB has a loyal following of locals as well. This is no surprise, because because insiders know, there is nightly music featuring Jazz, Blues, and Rock & Roll with some of the most raw talented singers and musicians on the Southern Floridian Circut!! The crowd is eclectic and lively. You have the group of Ladies hanging out (ages 20-90), a possible tryst in the making, couples that may just want to come out and dance or merely a inquiring soul who wants to listen to some great live music. Now here is the Ahhh-mazing thing. They have 2 different featured performances (4-6pm) or (8-12am)!! You may even see a fellow musician sitting at the Bar listening, enjoying, vibing who will jump up on stage impromptu and bust a move lyrically (what a treat)!! We actually went a couple of nights and always stop by when were in town. Monday night Kat Riggins (petite powerhouse) Tuesday was Ms.Val Tyson and Band (Gracious, Talented, Generous) who brought a tear to my eye with her tribute to John Singleton. A favorite spot for entertainment. Was a little hard to get service initially waited about 20 minutes. Had to go to the bar and request service at a table but afterward ok. Liked the crowd, waitress, band. Harmonic player Mr T was really good. House salad a little bland but the Mahi was fairly good. The place is Pricey and charged us a cover charge $5 per person on the bill. Not posted anywhere we could see. Found out later from the Website they charge it as an entertainment fee. They charge a 3% credit card fee. Music a little loud needed ear plugs.

Popped in for a quick drink while we waited for our ride to pick us up. They had a nice jazz band playing great music. Had to take a double take on the bartenders and they are twins! great atmosphere, drink prices were ok and the music was nice. We left feeling what a nice choice to stop at!

The place was empty except for a few locals. Our order was taken promptly and the first part of our order was quickly brought out. The tacos were very good. After that, Denise thought it was better to chat with the locals at the bar and not follow up with any drinks that we needed. Finally I got her attention to bring me a beer and she rolled her eyes and was generally rude. The last part of our food order, a pizza, came out approx 45 minutes later. She brought the check, put it down and snobbily walked away. I left her a tip reflecting her sorry waitressing job.

Small bar with good music and drinks. Not much seating and not a lot of places to stand. We enjoyed the band, would have stayed longer if we had a place.

Its such a gift to have places like these in Miami which offer not just Blues music but a unique atmosphere. It felt we were in New Orleans and the band was great, definitely will be back.

Hadn’t been there in 10 years. Drove in rainy cool weather from Palm Beach county on a Friday night but GPS served me well and it cleared up in Ft Lauderdale. The outside was great. Got seat front row on couch.Bobby Nathan band was fabulous. Enough space to see all 6 band members and sound was loud and clear. Betty sounded great as always as did Marc on drums and lead guitar Bobby. Doug’s sax adds so much. Bob is cool on bass. And guest horn by Kurt superb and one song by lead singer of Misty Mountain (Zeppelin) Eddy. I got to dance for 4 hours. Was a blast. JoJo said I was their cheerleader getting the crowd to get out of seats and dance My dinner wasn’t a highlight. Chicken didn’t seemed grilled and tomato lettuce & pickles not fresh but I was starving and finished all.It was a cool crisp night and most enjoyable.

Food not good and I so much want to eat when I got there. The majority of the bands play great blue music. Just love Betty. They have dance floor, when the crowd gets going its fun. I wish the floor was bigger. Wait staff is pathetic and rude. There is one little guy that worked there and he was a great waiter, the rest are NOT customer friendly, constant mood swings. We are regulars only because of the music nothing else.

Came to see and listen to Dave Rapollo and had a wonderful evening! So of course, the music was awesome! Saw some old aquantinaces, friends and met some very nice new people. Sat at the bar, had a great female bartender, she was very busy and was working very hard!This is a great cozy friendly neighborhood bar. I didnt eat, but I heard the food was very good.Funny, my son DJ-ed here many years ago but it was a different name.Seemed like everyone loved Dave and most people were happy, up and dancing. This is a fabulous place for having a lot of fun or quietly sitting by yourself at the bar looking at whatever on your cell phone...something for everyone, no matter what mood your in! Alone, or on a date or with a group, youll have a good time!

The music was phenomenal ! The gentleman Anthony played every instrument. Well done great playing Saxophone. He was moving to Tennessee last day was Monday. If you like Jazz it was good ! Bar style with a dance floor. We had a good time. Too bad Anthony is leaving.

Great place. Not fancy. Laid back. Older but cool crowd. The live music is on point. The twin sisters bartenders are attentive and do a good job. The pizza is amazing. We went this past Sunday and Tuesday. We will be back this weekend.this weekend.

Amazing live music but very slow service! Bar + restaurant is understaffed - you will wait for awhile to get a drink and staff won’t come by your table to take a food order (i’m talking 30+ min) unless you flag them down! Was frustrating seeing other tables getting served and I had to keep begging. As long as you know what you’re getting into - don’t come hungry and be patient when you order drinks. Great musicians and live music.

Music was good but customer service was TERRIBLE. My table waited over and hour and we still didnt have the one pizza we ordered and one of the male waiters was VERY rude and I hope it wasnt because Im black, he had a terrible attitude with us and seemed very accommodating to the other guests.

Funky little neighborhood type joint with live music every evening. Good service, friendly crowd of regulars and good happy hour prices. I didnt eat here but my friends got pizza and didnt care for it. Its a small place & parking is limited metered street spots. Definitely worth visiting for cocktails and local bands any night.

On vacation and wanted to hear LIVE music, locals recommended this place. Arrived at 10:30 to half empty place , no music, just one bar tender and locals. Waited at the bar for 2 minutes for the bar tender to recognize we walked in the comfy place and asked her if they had live music.. she answered it was comedy night and we are closing early. We decided to grab some food since we traveled 25 mins for this infamous jazz spot. Bartenders were short, distracted, and customer service was bad. Food was good, service -and atmosphere thumbs down! Advertised saxophonist on Thursday night and late night vibes (1am) , got hole in the wall service , no music, and a sense that everyone was rushing to go home, not to make any money. It was disappointing to say the least …

I love it.Music could be a bit lower as it is a small place and volume is way higher than it should. But still I love it. Food is really good, pizzas are the best. Music is great. Live bands always.I like going during the week as it it a very popular on the weekends and am not a fan of the little personal space on weekends (not just here, I mean in life, weekends are way to crowded for me).

I come here with my friends every month for the Gold Coast Comedy show and its a blast. Not only are the comedians hilarious, but the atmosphere is great, and the food is amazing. Ive tried almost everything on the menu and I recommend it all.

Loved the atmosphere! Good food, great service! It gets pretty packed so arrive early to get a spot to sit. They have a small dance floor so it can get pretty cozy! Parking is also limited in front but plenty of parking around. Will definitely go back again.

I got there with my wife and a female friend around 8pm on Saturday. My first impression is that the crowd were senior citizens. No hostess at the door, and all tables had a reservation tag, so I went to talk to the only waitress I saw working, and she told me to wait. We waited for about 10 minutes as she never came back to us, then we decided to go somewhere else. Conclusion; I am never going back,, I can spend my money in a place who cares about customer service.

Happy Hour at 4:30 . Easy on Tuesday in time to get great bar seats, before the 5 pm music performance by Jimmy Cullen..well known in the area. Singing solo a mix of oldies from John Denver, Rod Stewart and many others.Excellent pizza. Bar service was veryVERY good. Annalisa was fabulous.

Entertainment is very good. Service on the floor needs a better system. We arrived at 7:06 on a Tuesday night. Not overly busy at the time of arrival. We ordered two drinks with a glass of water and a pizza. Waitress brought two drinks, no water. Asked again for water. No water delivered. Fiancée went up to the bar to get me a glass of water 20 minutes later. 8:00 still no pizza but wanted us to close out tab with her for waitresses were being reassigned as band was about to start playing. 8:30 still no pizza and I approached her to advise her we were going to head out to forget the pizza. Everyone came in after us and orders taken, they were fed and done with meals. Apparently pizza was still not in the oven! They should have given us the two drinks on the house with an apology. 8:48 and now out looking for somewhere to eat. 😡

Burgers were over cooked and over seasoned. Smoked fish dip was great. Sound was extremely loud

Its been my pleasure to perform there with my music partner a few times now with more to come. Every time Ive been either as a performer or as a patron, the music has been great and the audience/vibe has been very friendly and upbeat.. Every band/musician in Miami seems to want to play there, and I congratulate the management for keeping live music going, different acts for happy hour and evening, most every day of the year. The only thing I wish theyd change is offer some vegan food options....

Honestly I thought this place was going to be very dull, but I was very happy with my visit. the food wasnt crazy good but wasnt bad either; the music was very nice. it is a little hard to make convo when some people perform but not impossible. Only down fall I would see that would prevent me from rating 5 stars was the amount of people there / the age group. more people over 45+ years old. so if you are in my age range 20-35 not allot of us there. enjoy

We have been on vacation here in Ft. Lauderdale for the week and have experienced this lovely place twice and without fail had an amazing night ! The bands were amazing ! Food was great and what a atmosphere ! Service was great and the locals had us laughing all night . I cant see having a better time . It is a must go !

I have been there a few times. The music is fantastic, the drinks were ok. The first time we went the food was mediocre, the next few times we only drank. Today, we attempted to eat again, the food went from mediocre to HORRIBLE. the waitress literally threw the food on the table and NEVER came back to ask of we needed or wanted anything, even a drink, we had to ask a bartender for additional drinks. The desserts were old and tasted like they had been in the fridge uncovered for a long time. My review go there if you enjoy music, eat somewhere else first, stay away if you are hungry

Went Thursday night for happy hour. Heard a one man singer Steven Delopoulos perform. Wow! Amazing voice and incredible guitar picking. Great talent... would definitely come to hear him again.Fun night but service not so good.

Came at 6:00pm, seated myself and was not greeted or given a menu. Waited 1 hour because I was waiting for a friend who was running late, but while I waited, not once did someone come over to me and offered a menu or asked if I wanted a drink. I would never step foot into this hole again.

The band was great, but my wife bought 2 margaritas, and the manager charged her for the margaritas and the tequila that was already in the drink. She will neva order that again.

I went here for the first time with a friend for her birthday. I was a little skeptical but they serve a 5 star salad! Shes a blues fan and has been coming for a while. Their live entertainment was awesome! I understand why this is her favorite place to go! The staff was curious and attentive to our large group. I can see why it was packed!

All was good, we were having drinks and listening to the band. Around 9pm the waiter advised us that there would be a $20 cover charge per person if we wanted to stay. I felt disrespected since there was no cover charge when we came in, and we were buying food & drinks. There was no special event that evening. A lot of senior citizens by the bar left, so did we because of the principle. Left a bad taste in my mouth

Sunday evening stop for light dining and entertainment. Jazz ...A live saxophonist. He was very sultry and set a GROWN and SEXY TONE in the place. Had the wings, asked for all flats, which was not a problem. Ordered calamari and also sweet potato fries..YUM!! Everything was served hot and delicious.. The long Island was awesome and the $5 🍋 drop with a sugared lemon slice is a ladies friend. It wasnt crowded and the price was reasonable. Thanks Blue Jean Blues..

Always a great ambiance and music. They do need better waiter staff , they kept forgetting our orders...tent to assist the people they know instead of new clients.:( However the lady that came in around 8:30-9pm was sharp and attentive. A nice cool place to go.

This place was great! Music was tight...the food was good. Only thing lacking was the bar service...lacking. The place was very busy, but an above average server group would have done better than that crew. Everything else was so good, you could deal with the bad service & still have a good time.

My boyfriend and I came here on a busy St. Patricks Day night. Which some people might see it as an excuse, but it’s not. Your staffing issues aren’t my problem. Staff appropriately for busy days. It was crowded with your typical white middle aged spread. The people are crammed in and people continuously bumping into you when youre just trying to enjoy yourself. My bf loves live music so we stayed.However, the waitress we had was rude, only seemed to care about the big tables or tables with her friends. We had to wait 20 minutes for the check. And by waiting, my BF had to walk up and actually get the check since the waitress never addressed us. The music is the only saving grace. Even that, this place was billed as a jazz club but they were only doing cover songs. Definitely will NOT come back. There have to be better options in FTL.

Love the bartenders and the music was amazzzing. There was such a good, easy going feel to the place. Mint julep was a little too sweet for my taste but the mule was perfect and their martinis are wonderful too. Also, try the pizza!

Need better entanglement and waitresses with better attitudes

They put reserved on every table before 6pm and then if asked, tell you that you can only sit there until 9pm! Being there at 6pm, I certainly would not have sat there until 9pm! Thats crazy! They lost a few customers that walked in and saw all the tables reserved!

Small club on Galt with live music, not always blues so check their calendar.Mainly older crowd and can be packed on weekends. Great service, drinks delivered quickly and theres food if youre munchy.Very cozy and lots of regulars.

Service at the bar, bartenders, and absolutely the most amazing Margherita Pizza Ive had in a long time. Fresh tomatoes, cheese and basil! I will continue returning just for the pizza and drinks. Live music is truly enjoyable as well. Kudos to Blue Jean Blues for a chill hangout spot.

It was Saturday night and it was crowded. Although the hostess did what she could to accommodate us and get us seated, the server was slow to get to us. Eventually, we did get food, which was regular, and the beef needed seasoning. The second round of drinks was served with lipstick on the glass. At that point, we decided we go elsewhere for the balance of the evening. We are giving two stars, the second is for the music.

It was a late night however staff was very accommodating my hats off to the manager Giovanni he made everything happen.

I come here for a lot of the acts that play typically from 4-8pm... before the main acts. I like the atmosphere then... almost family like. Sometimes it can be hard to make a table reservation here (phone answering is a bit erratic) but I would recommend it for the later shows. I enjoy seeing Jazzy here.... it is a nice intimate space for small acts, and the bar and tin ceiling create a really nice vibe for jazz and blues. The bar staff is friendly, and the servers near the bar have always been very attentive.

All these years still a fun place with great live music and sociable patrons. Had a great time always. Indoors, if you feel like it you and your partner can get on the floor show your moves, amateur or pro doesnt matter, everyone shows love here. I really miss the big crowd before corona, but still, a fun place, social distancing followed. My gf and Ive met locals and out of towners here, and gets to be interesting at times. Easy menu to order from, nothing fancy, but great enough for the night. Service is friendly. Keep up the great job BJB !!

My boyfriend and I met my dad here for a Joey Gillmore live show and it was great! Food was good, drinks were strong, waitress was attentive and polite, and the music was excellent!

Jazz music is great. But lately, the food has not been that great. I noticed the chef is no longer there. Those burger sliders used to be good and fresh. But when we ordered it, it came out 5 minutes later. I thought that was strange and I was up all night with a very upset stomach. Normally, it would 12-15 minutes to cook it. Please check. I am afraid to order it again

K, where to begin. The bartenders were, incredibly friendly, super creative, knowledgeable, and helpful. After getting tired of my usual bar drinks I (and my gf) asked for several recommendations and they delivered over and over. Making drinks out of what they had and off menu 9 out of 10 drinks were delicious and the ones we didnt like were not charged to us. The food was great but I wouldskip the calamari, too much breading not enough squid. The marinara bsauce was amazing though. As I told my gf when we arrived, we arent going here for the food... And man was I right. The live band on Tuesdays is phenomenal. Popular songs with an original twist. All live music with great energy. Will be back many times over.

Blue Jean Blues is one of my favorite spots to visit. I love this place, Good food, Great entertainment, Great staff. I just celebrated my 61st birthday🎈🎂 there last Tuesday with the Valerie Tyson Band. They were Awesome.🎶🎤. I even got a parking ticket but that was okay, it was well worth it. I was having so much fun I forgot to go put money into the meter. 😁

Wow glad they finally got a better wine list. Happy hour music good. Acoustics arent that great , you could hear more people talking than you could hear the music from the bar area. Food good.

Blue Jean Blues was an unexpected surprise. The live music and dancing to oldies and motown was so much fun! Our server, Gina, has an awesome personality and the food was great. Will be coming back on our next trip to FL.

This place has the worst customer service and the food is not worth the price... the twin sisters who own it both are very unfriendly and cocky. I wasted $100 on wings that I had to wait an 30 min to even order because the blonde twins kept ignoring us. Never goin back and would never suggest anyone go there. They made me fell like I wasn’t welcome there. Maybe my skin was too dark idk if it was my race that bothered the twins but everyone else was gettin friendly fast service except us. We couldn’t even get a smile, and had to ask for our order to be taken. I felt like they wanted us to leave. We spent $80 on dry wings and disrespect.

I moved from Minneapolis MN to Dania Beach. My favorite spot for live music was Bunkers. I discovered Blue Jeans Blues 4 years ago while here on my yearly birthday vacay! Now its new my favorite spot in Fort Lauderdale. Great live music, atmosphere, people and food. The owners are amazing!

Food was amazing and so was the service. sat next to the live band which was cool because it was interactive. mostly an older crowd but I would definitely go back. the jazz music was very impressive and I cant stop thinking about the turkey burger, the slider burgers, the bruchetta, the calamari, the pizza, all of the food was cooked to perfection.

I went to Blue Jeans for the very first time last night. I was pleased with my experience. Due to the pandemic, upon arrival you have to wear a mask until your seated at a table as well as if your going on the dance floor. Also, there are sanitizers installed and they sanitize all tables and seats. I ordered a drink and had some delicious Southwest Eggrolls. My meal was hot and very TASTY with a lot of flavor. The band V Connection performed and they were awesome. They had everyone on the dance floor enjoying themselves with their friends and family ! It was a great time while feeling safe. 👍🏾👍🏾

Weird music scene but I was there in an off night. Has all the makings of a cool bluesy joint. Wish they served some late night food. When I was there at 945 the kitchen was closed. It was a Monday though. Nice bartender

The music was loud. Neatly tucked away in an entertainment and shopping grotto off Oakland Park blvd, and A1A, Blue jeans Blue is a neighborhood friendly upscale-dive. The dress is casual, the menu limited, but service was good and our server was friendly and accommodating. I ate a great chocolate cake dessert and washed it down with a smooth red blend wine.The patrons are all shapes, colors, and ages. But the most interesting part was the high level of tolerance for all the different ways couples expressed their love - if you know what I mean.There is also a small dance floor so you can shake a leg of the mood hits ya!

Very much fun!! Large bar with fantastic live music! We found it in an amazing outdoor shopping mall. Music and restaurant bar are inside Blue Jean Blues. It is busy with people who enjoys blues, jazz and rock. We met the jazz musicians outside. They were very friendly. Later we could hear the blues from the live band and it is the real thing. True blues musicians. Great crowd. Ft Lauderdale is lucky to have this place. It is quite the place to go. Very casual. We were visiting from New York City. I wish we had a place like this. Funky and very nice. You can even hear the music from outside. Once I went in and there wasnt a cover. That was by myself. Probably earlier. Another time it was $5. Which meant a very good blues band. Just like blues is meant to be!

My wife and I celebrated our 28 years Anniversary on August 10, 2018. By word of mouth, Blue Jean Blues 3320 NE 33rd St., Fort Lauderdale, Fl. 33308 was recommended. If you like Jazz, and Blues this is the place you must visit. I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee one of the birth places of Blues and Jazz, we were not disappointed at all. The drinks, and food, were exceptional, and the prices were very reasonable. One of the best Anniversaries since moving to Florida in 2012.

Very well run local pub with live musicians during the evenings. The musicians are probably the best pub musicians in all of Fort Lauderdale if you like jazz or funk. Food is scrumptious and voluminous. Good place to go hang.

This is a neat little place. I went for a friends birthday and the music was fantastic. I did not eat but the food looked good and they have a great selection of drinks. My only complaint is that it was very crowded so getting up out of my seat was a challenge.

A great place with fabulous music. They have lots of bands with the line up listed on their web site. Loved Eric with the Jazzers, great horn and drummer, and we couldnt stop clapping, dancing and singing with the Jazzy Jones show. Wonderfully fun!

Even when almost empty it was impossible to get anything in a reasonable amount of time or to get the staff members attention. After ordering a drink, she stood with her back to us just up the bar for 25min chatting to a regular (loud enough for us to hear it was unimportant smalltalk) before grabbing a bottle of beer from the fridge right in front of us and placing it on the bar, it was a screwtop so she didnt even have to open it; but wanted my friend to wait almost half an hour for a beer in an empty bar.She also overcharged for the soft drinks (on tap), they were twice the price of beer & flat.

Ive been looking for a little lounge to enjoy my favorite genre of music for sometime and Ive found it in Blue Jean Blues.I went in with a friend on a Monday night for a late dinner around 10:30pm. It was an open jazz jam, and there were at least 10 musicians collaborating beautifully! Guitars, bass, drums, trumpet, vibraphone, sax and even jazz flute, (Ron Burgundy would have been proud! LOL.) The result: melodic impromptu waves of sweet jazz.The baked Brie appetizer was lovely, as was my chicken pesto sandwich. The wine prices were reasonable, especially since there was no cover charge. The service was attentive and we had a wonderful time. I think I have found my new spot!

I came at 12 they had a few specials but I was surrounded by older women including the bartender. Felt a little awkward because I knew they didnt want me here but I was served fast a good drink and she wasnt an up seller she was a great bartender :) cozy and good music to chill too; no poppy hip crap.

Bartenders was rude and uninviting. After arriving I sat at the bar for 15 minutes before getting service. Keep in mind I was only color woman at the bar. There was 2 lady bartenders working the bar and a 3rd person working the floor. I sat in front the bar well station where the bartender was preparing other drinks; therefore i know she saw me. The 3rd person working the floor finally acknowledge me and what will I be drinking.

This is a great venue. The jazz bands I have seen have all been amazing. Food, bar, drinks, and beer selections are excellent. The bar staff and wait staff are friendly. Blue Jean Blues is a great place to meet friends.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere, staff, entertainment, and people are all the perfect balance of lively and low key at the same time! Walked in and felt right at home. Loved this place a million times over!
