Ramrod Fort Lauderdale

I’m out of town, so my 1st, 2nd, and every visit after has been great. Chill bars and people, including the employees (David, Jacob, and Jesse). Store inside for your immediate and most needed future activities. There’s a front and back patio, too. Patios seem to be rain friendly. Sense of privacy and personal touch, with a local vibe. Next door, you got food, and another store. A barber across the street, too. I mention that because this bar vibes with the leather/kink community or at least that was my intake. Thus, you have chances within distance to fix up yourself at the last minute, or should the occasion arise that you need it. The venue opens at an adequate time for early risers. There’s happy hours. There’s lights that can light up the tabs as to aid in reading inside. Love the energy and vibe of this place. I heard they have a pool table? But never moved towards that section to check it out. What I mean is, the venue has more size than one would initially observe and think of. I think I remember it from my first time visit, but I don’t go out to play pool by myself. Cool man cave style indoors. Small and cool raffles from time to time. More importantly, I felt save and I am thankful to visit an atmosphere where my presence did not impede other’s and that goes in accordance to myself and preferences. The Florida heat does not penetrate the front or back patios like they would in any other outdoor bars, because of their fans. I don’t know what else to write on this review. The best dive bar in town, and one of the only true Levi and Leather bars in the country. Its the last one with a regular Enforced Dress Code. Its also got the strongest drinks in town.

TRULY enjoyed the visiting guest DJ Jesse Mercado from Chicago on 3/22/2024The music was AWESOME!!!Please have him again as I have been fortunate to have heard him in several venues in the Chicago area and he is ON HIS GAME!!!

In the Fort Lauderdale / Wilton area, I would consider it one of my favorite bars to go to.Yeah it may occasionally stinks inside, might be filled with smoke outside.. but you just embrace it for what it is. Most of the staff is friendly. Drinks are super strong (beware). Lots of great people to mingle with. And when there’s a DJ, the music is on point.Due to pickpocketing that’s been going on around all the bars, me and my partner just bring the essentials inside. No phones, maybe bring 1 card or cash, and usually a bum bag to store that and the essentials that I share with my partner.Parking is hit or miss, even during the day. But there’s always parking at the wing shop, which has never been a problem, or decades after 6pm.Overall it’s just a place that you can be yourself - dress however you want whether it’s with leather or not, without judgement and have fun.

Fun place for men who enjoy a relaxed environment. Bartender could be a little more friendly, but they are also slammed all the time. Great speed on getting drinks in your hand. Music is also energetic and pulsing. Most of guys have no attitude or ego, and there is someone for everyone. Definitely one of my go-to places every time I am visiting the area.

Great experience. The drinks are good. Definitely a frisky crowd, and Chad at the bar knows how to serve it up! Overall, one of the best bars I visited in ft Lauderdale. Recommend to folks looking for a slightly seedy and boozy experience.

Chad isnt friendly!!! I accidentally spilled my drink on a crooked bar rail against the wall. I approached above named bartender/owner about the issue and he didnt do anything about it, however questioned my claim (asked me where my cup was). Im afraid I wont be back, this bar is dying, all cool people go to the Eagle nowadays. Better looking men and customer service at the Eagle

Jam packed, theres something for everyone, friendly bartenders, lots of good looking men, seedy? well, of course keep in mind the name, The Ramrod says it all; its a leather bar.Dancing, outside bar and patio, two restrooms, or was it three? 4 martinis dont blame me and did I mention, the men seemed to be pretty friendly as well., no one posing🐊 Saturday about 11P.M. and from what I understand open until 3 A.M. Last time I went , there were a couple young guys leaving, and the one was wearing a pair of shorts and it looked like he had half of a baseball bat in his shorts, the bigger part, never saw anything like it b4.Parking is difficult, so you have 2 kind of empathize with the guys outside trying to direct traffic 2 where there is parking.You have 2 understand its night, most of those looking 4 a spot have done some partying b4 getting there and so you cant take such things personal. Just find a spot, get over it and go in there and enjoy yourself.

I love a good leather bar. The bar tenders are awesome and the crowd fun. HOWEVER, cant have a fun time when my eyes are burning and I reek of smoke from hanging out inside the bar. Ill definitely go back when/if this changes.

We had a lot of fun here. Great fetish bar, reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff. Promotions are often held here, if you sign up for 909gay,com and create a profile, you can get a free private room for 2 hours and a free cocktail.

The music is consistently superb. Can be a little trashy. Drinks are very reasonable. Crowded pig night but great fun.

Jeriomillo and Brian are the best bartenders in Wilton Manors. They can handle big crowds easily. The Ramrod is the place!

I was a little intimidated to go to The Ramrod at first. I had read so many reviews from people that spread hate for overweight people, ugly people and the smell of armpits. I didn’t feel like I would fit in. But thanks to Chad the bartender, he made me feel right at home and I met some great people there. Music was pumping all night and there were plenty of hot men in scantily clad outfits so I was in heaven. I don’t know the last time I closed the bar but time flies when you’re having fun and I’ll definitely be back.

Awesome bar, awesome staff, a great on site leather store and overall a great place. Staff is always super friendly and helpful and the drink prices are great too. Stop by and say hi! And keep up the good work guys. We love ya!

My friend and I where visiting in FLL and decided to check out this place, we came driving from the other side of the street and we parked on the grass next to the club, and the guy at the door started yelling and asking if we didnt see the signs that said no ramrod parking, wich we didnt see because they where pointing to the other street. The place is nice but they should have better customer service. They just drove 2 high spending customers away.

For the Levi/Leather or those who dont fall into the preppy twenty something-age group this one is for you. But, probably not the place to bring your female friend from work. Parking in this area is challenging due to the bar itself having fewer than 10 spaces and street parking. Somewhat smallish bar that can seem like a maze at times, good music playing throughout, fills up early 11ish. Bartenders are skilled and serving up good drinks not overpriced. Staff and patrons are all friendly at this fun hangout.

Best place to be if you are looking for real men! Pig Dance, Underwear Night, EDC, Best Butt contests every Wednesday, Big Bulge contest every Thursday. If you are looking for pretty boys, twinks, or guys that shower in flowery womens perfume, you are in the wrong bar. Its true that its hit or miss, but stick around long enough and you get the men you are looking for. Bartenders are great, music is awesome, and overall the place is fun!

We are mixed married couple. Came to bar today around 9pm. Got first two drinks and paid cash at outside bar no problem. When I went to get drinks with my spouse inside of the bar, gave bartender debit card to pay for drinks. Bar tender claimed that I didn’t give him debit card and had to report the card lost. I am sure there are cameras at the bar to see what exactly happened. Fact is I gave debit card to bar tender. To add insult to injury bar tender called me a “hooker” and I was asked to leave the bar. Will never set my foot in the bar again and don’t recommend it to anyone else. Btw I been married to white dude almost 20 years. We are mixed race couple and this incident seems racially motivated. I don’t want to hear if you are mixed couple and you didn’t have any problems. You just got lucky

Have been a long time resident of Ft. Lauderdale and have on many occasions gone to the Ramrod for some casual fun.. I went last week for PIG Dance and was so overcrowded with overweight hairy guys that smelled like they havent bathed in a while it was to say it mildly a turn off. Im certainly not a prude, and the excitement of wall men. But with that said, if thats your scene.. then head to the Ramrod for some sweaty fun..

The bar and bartenders are great. However, the guy in charge of security as well as the guy that checks IDs need to be fired. My 21 year old son went with me to the bar, the guy at the door carded him and let him in. We went in, I got a drink, then the guy at the door requested to see my sons ID again. He showed it to him and the guy stated he isnt 21. I replied that the birthday on his state issued drivers license says he is as well as I say he is. The head of security also came over and proceeded to count on his fingers. I told him to take 21 from 2014 and he would easily see my son is over the legal drinking age. He told me to shut my mouth or I would be thrown out. After he was done counting on his fingers, he said my son could stay... he never apologized. Instead he looked at the door guy and said good job. I said, how can you say good job when he is obviously high and cant count. He informed me that if i said another word I would physically be thrown out. This guy should not be in charge of security and from what Ive seen in other reviews and word of mouth it is obvious that Im not alone in my observation. Also ramrod owners... threatening to physically assault customers is against the law. You may want to let your security people know this. I wasnt drunk, belligerent or threatening, but your guy threatened to lay his hands on me. The bartenders witnessed it and advised me to contact you.

Loved this club. Great public, amazing music. Can get really crowded and almost impossible to dance or move around. Facility needs some renovations. I can definitely recommend to meet people and party atmosphere.

The atmosphere and the people were very friendly. I was visiting from out of town. My partner and I wanted to check this place out. Made some new friends and I most definitely plan on coming back when I’m in town.

Love this high camp leather bar. The Music saved my soul , drinks are strong and the vibe is dope. Definitely no The Eagle NYC but at least they try.Ps dont get caught hanky panky in the corners they are quick to throw people out .

Actually I love this place. But I dont like the small Dixie cup sized grinks. Its not good and you can do better!

Perhaps the friendliest bar in Ft . Lauderdale/Wilton Manors in a lot of ways it functions more like a clubhouse than a bar, so if you dont understand something that is going on ASK. One out of every five people working there is either unfriendly or flat out rude, but the others all do a great job of making up for that. They say theyre open until 3am but really its 2:30.

Great adventure every time. You never know what to expect. Only bad thing is the inside security can be aggressive for no reason. One old guy in particular I have noticed loose his cool 3x for no reason. Overboard with unessary use of force and strong arming patrons instead of using verbal de-esulating techniques. Im concerned for his safety and that of nearby patrons.

A great way to top off the evening. Sail into this place after 11 with a little buzz going to get the full effect. Imagine the New York underworld of yesteryear. Kinda like that. Dark passageways. And a naughty toy store too.

Great levi leather bar. Very diverse crowd, great music after 10pm when the djs start. All the staff are friendly. There is even a leather store inside the bar!

So the times day 9am is when they open but unfortunately… it is never open at 9am. It is upsetting & discouraging that employees think it is acceptable to open when they want to open. I just don’t understand, hopefully someone should address this issue.

Bartenders are fantastic. The douchbag in the leather shop was put out because I asked him to help fit me for a harness lost 200.00.

We went on “pig night” and although it was very full of people, there is always a very good atmosphere, a lot of camaraderie and friendliness.

I would like more days where you can go smoke tobacco,

I went twice on a weekday, but I didnt find a lot of people (I think it must be because of the above) but it is highly recommended, you have to pay attention to the Instagram of the parties to go to since in my case I didnt fit any of them. But Ill come back
