Lovely spot, cute decor, and the drinks are delicious 😋 The staff is really friendly ad welcoming too. The food was good. I attended the mimosafest with my girlfriends and we enjoyed it very much. Great for pics too. Location is great, several other stablishments within walking distance. You have to pay for parking by meter/hourly cost. Venue has cool art and photo backdrop... its outdoors so its hot but fans and tent all around. Nice big stage too with great music and DJ also.

The FOOD IS THE BOM!!! Its my first time visiting Backyard Sunday Brunch.I went blinded, not knowing what to expect. will go back after summer is over! I dont like sweating while im eating great food. It felt like I was at a Backyard carnival.🤣Make sure you wear little to no clothes. You will be sweating profusely, whether you dance or not! the DJ plays one type of music. HIP HOP, RAP some Africa, I suggest you mix it up a little with the same dance vibe. If you dont book a table, in advance you will have to stand and eat. I had a great sweaty time, though. and my friends and I are looking forward to going back ,well be booking a table.

The atmosphere and the vibe here go unmatched. The friendly staff starts with the door staff and ends with the bartenders. Everyone there wants to make sure you have a good time.You like dancing? Theyve got you covered with a DJ and a place to dance. Parry games? Yup that too with Jenga, beer pong, and corn hole. Want to just relax and enjoy the night and the vibe around you? DONE! Sit around the palm tree or any of the other tables.My favorite part was hanging out at the bar with the bartenders! I was there celebrating my 40th birthday. There was 8 of us and the bartenders were amazing. Not only did they kill it with the drinks shots but they were so friendly.Special shout-out to Sam and Dillan for making our drinks and making my night amazing. These two made me feel like I was literally at a backyard party and my friends were taking care of me getting my drinks. They had amazing attitudes and were so personable.Thank you Backyard for an amazing night and to those reading this if you are thinking of going here.... Just go and have yourself a good night!!

Backyard is a super fun spot with great drinks, musics, and vibes. The security team is also great!Last weekend, as my friends and I were about to enter, I realized I had left my ID in my other purse (typical, I know). Panic mode set in until the bouncer noticed and calmly asked if everything was okay. When I explained my situation, he smiled and said, No worries, happens to the best of us. Go grab it, and Ill save your spot.His understanding and kindness instantly put me at ease. I ran to the car with my friend to get it, and when we came back, he held his word and kept our spot and even helped us find the rest of our friends! Thank you to the guy at the door (sorry I forgot your name) for being so chill and helpful!

I will never come back here when an artist is performing. Regular Sunday brunch is better! I had reservations and leading up to the day of event everything kept changing so unorganized. No one knew what was going on and all the staff were lost and confused. The ladies at the front door were literally fussing and whispering with each other while we waiting trying to figure out what’s going on instead of serving us. We had to pay for drinks at the door which has never happened and then got to the table for them to tell us one of the bottles we paid for is sold out ridiculous. The bottle girl inform us multiple times she would secure the bottles while we went outside for a few minutes because we were going to take them with us to come back and bottles are gone. Asked to speak to manager to be told the manager not coming. Finally spoke to one manager (don’t remember his name but knows how he look) he was nice and understanding and was able to assist and clear everything up! Backyard over booked and raise prices for everything only to be a dysfunctional wreck. Didn’t really care about the artist performing she just ended up being there on my bday. Came to have a good time with friends for my bday only for it to start off as a disaster. Never come when an artist is performing unless you want to be crammed pack and over charged! Also the lines for food was ridiculous I would suggest they have two location/area people can go for food.

There is a phase in life when youre too old to be out at 2 a.m. on most nights of the week, but too young to be in bed at 9. Americas Backyard had a soft reopening to transition itself from a bar to an outdoor/indoor restaurant with live music several nights a week. On a Saturday night at 8:30, the band was happily playing covers from the 70s, 80s, and 90s--giving everyone something to rock out on and taking requests long before the end. The food is mostly pizza, but its good pizza served up personal sized with over 24 varieties (we had the margherita pizza). I was not impressed by the craft beer variety, which could use sprucing up in a South Florida jam-packed with great microbrews (my server suggested Narragansett for lagers and said they had not one sour on tap, bottle, or can). Cocktails are served in plastic cups in this new Covid world and we were seated with a reservation (yes, you need one) on stage right next to the band. My Backyard Lemonade was strong, sour, and a perfect pairing with cheesy pizza. We had a great time and will be back. The Himmarshee District needs a place thats open to families of all types (we brought our 🐕). Indoor and outdoor seating available. All staff wore masks. Plenty of hand sanitizer throughout Backyard. 50% capacity. Management, service, and cleanliness were on point.

I liked it the first time I went, but this last time, they stopped me at the door about my slides and told me to go home and change them.. like this suppose to be a backyard vibe, and my slides werent flip flops or foot slides ( what I like to call them . If you know, you know, ) anywho went home to change them and still had an issue with the slides I wore the first time I came and had no problem getting in... so I had to wait until the promoter came to the front and cleared my slides like really??? I didnt enjoy this visit cause I was watching other peoples shoe attire and was like really 😐the whole time.... havent been back

Took my sis and her bf here for lunch during a recent visit from NYC. its definitely a vibe. theres plenty of seating although inside tables are small. the buffet brunch is fun and the offerings are satisfying. Ive had better shrimp n grits, as they were undersalted and runny. I personally found the callilou to be oversalted. eating them together with the shrimp n grits balanced it out but you shouldnt have to do that. theres so much food that even if you skip an item not executed perfectly because they go through so much so fast, you still have plenty to choose from. like made to order waffles and omelets. the cheese board was good and the salad fresh. Fried chicken was decent. I would do this again but if you sit outside the music is so loud talking is a challenge. with bottomless mimosas as an option, youll be too busy eating and drinking to talk. i found the service to be above average and everyone was friendly and accommodating. do note, when you make your Reservations, they ask you how many bottles you want. That is a tell and you should already know. Do go for a solidly boozy brunch and a good time overall. A Plus Recommends

Worse Experience and disgusting food in my life. They Charge us $190 for two for the brunch with performance. There is no performance and food are not luxury food like they describe, food just value $10.Dont waste your time and money

My friend lost her wallet here the other night and we weren’t sure if it had gotten stolen or if it was still there. We went back yesterday night to Backyard and found a person who worked there named Steve and he was so sweet and so accommodating. He was so helpful and found my friends wallet. Without Steve we wouldn’t have been able to be on our flight back home. Idk who the manager here is but someone give Steve a promotion. HE IS THE GOAT. Nicest person we have ever met.

It’s been years since I’ve visited this place. Came for a friends birthday and had a blast for 90s night. Dressed like we were back in the 90s. Drinks were affordable, bartender was amazing.

I must say, I was quite impressed with many aspects of the venue. First and foremost, the atmosphere was incredible. The outdoor setting created a beautiful and relaxing ambiance, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a night out with friends. Additionally, the ratio of the venue was great, which ensured that everyone had enough space to move around comfortably.The young and entertaining crowd at Backyard also added to the overall experience. It was great to see such a diverse group of people coming together to have a good time. Furthermore, I found the bartenders to be friendly and accommodating, which made ordering drinks a breeze.However, I must note that there were some issues with the security guards at the venue. While I understand the need for security measures, I was disappointed to experience aggression and unprofessionalism solely because I had merely sprayed a bottle of water on the crowd. Being carried out in a headlock and not being treated like a human is unacceptable, and its important for the venue to address these incidents and ensure that all staff is properly trained in dealing with difficult situations.Despite the security issue, I would still recommend Backyard for anyone looking for a great outdoor venue with a lively atmosphere and friendly bartenders.

This is a very popular lounge/club so it gets packed very fast especially at night. I went daytime for brunch and I would revisit again but for another timing and a regular day. Kind of expensive for brunch and the tickets was $50 for unlimited brunch but no mimosa. The way they have the brunch set up makes no sense. They have different time slots so if you miss one you’ll have to wait for the next one which ranges from 30 to 40 mins later. If you have sitting in the inside which forcing you to have to go back outside in the heat and wait in a long line for food. They take forever to refill the trays so there’s times you won’t be able to get to try something. Another reason why I don’t like the way they do the food serving is if a group of ppl comes together and have a table if everyone wants to eat they will have to leave the table which is a chance of losing your table. By the time you get back to your table you have no where to sit and enjoy your food. Security is not friendly and very aggressive and they rush you through the food line. The drinks are ok but as usual the fill the cups up with so much ice and your drinks are water down. Far as the music and scene, it’s perfect you can have a lot of fun, overall I would say this place is great for partying but brunch is not worth the price.

Everything about it was good. The food, atmosphere, prices, plenty of parking, and plenty of space for people. We did the Sunday brunch.

It was a total vibe! The servers especially Allyah....she is gorgeous, friendly and very accomodating! The DJs and bartenders keep the pulse going all afternoon. We will definitely return!

I’m from out of town and we came here for a night to have a few drinks a listen to music. My boyfriend went to the restroom upstairs and the doors were propped open the first time. About an hour later he tried to go again and realized the doors were closed so tugged on the doors and checked to see if the door would open.. and they did, so he proceeded to try to go to the restroom again. Before he even took any further steps, a bouncer came and grabbed him by the neck aggressively and pushed him down the stairs. We tried to plead with the bouncer saying we had never been here before and we just needed to go to the restroom but he was thrown out?? We had a couple of drinks and were just enjoying the music. I would understand if we were belligerent but it was completely unacceptable.

Came for the Florida Panthers watch parties and had a blast. Fun, cozy spot with tons of space. Quick service and friendly staff!

Disappointed about this place. It has a great location, but the food had no taste, it was bad and overpriced for such a horrible quality food. The menu is poor, they only have a few plates. The extra large chicken wings were 2.5inch tiny wings and the burger meat tasted like old defrosted meat without any flavor. The mimosas during brunch were not from orange juice, they were made with the soda gun at the bar.

10/10 vibes! Last night was my first night at old school night and honestly I had a great time! Bartenders were pretty and kind and the music was everything. I accidentally left my card and the next day the staff was helpful in me retrieving it. I really appreciated that. I’ll def be checking out the brunch on Sundays soon. 😎

Super fun atmosphere usually go for bb sundays brunch. Super lit and a vibe. The Brunch is amazing and the setup is so cool. So many levels to the location. Lots to explore. Love it

Fun times are to be had once per month at the Backyards Old school r&n and hip hop patty. They play 90s music, and thr dress code is casual: both men and women wear sneakers, jeans....etc. Its a vibe. The average age of attendees seems to be 40-50 years old, so there arent any fights or major issues. Im crossing my fingers that it doesnt become a turn-up spot for the younger crowd. The crowd consisted of a bit more youngsters and I smelled weed when I attended in January (fingers crossed that they maintain a more mature crowd in the future. We need a spot like this, we spend $ on top shelf, and we are a WHOLE vibe ;)That is all!

Worst place ever! I would never go again there! I just got kicked out outta nowhere! I asked why or what was the problem and they just where pushing me out! Never ever again! So bad this place! Incredible! I would give zero stars if it would be possible

The vibe was nice but no one told us we’d have to spend $150 for bottle service just to have a place to sit. We kept being moved around from table to table because they ‘sold it for bottle service.’ Otherwise, vibes and food were great.

The dj was pretty good. they have this regard eith a mic who says “we outside” 300 times a night. i don’t realize what value he adds. u could pay a homeless person 5 bucks an hour to do a better job. it’s actually shocking how bad he is. maybe hire ai or something?

The DJ the morning of 2/6 was a VIBE! I can’t recall his name but this is really an environment where everyone can dance, enjoy some good island food and be merry. The conch fritters were my favorite but all of the food was amazing. We purchased a hookah but still was asked to move after 3 hours I guess due to policy? Someone else was being seated at our table which was crazy because then we had to move our hookah, food and drinks to an area where we had to stand.

Paige is quite literally the best bartender ever. gorgeous, conversational, and knows how to make a bomb drink. if you come here, paige is your GIRL. she will treat u right like the legend she is.

Brunch is always great time. Food is absolutely fantastic. The people are super nice. Free bottomless mimosas till 1pm. All you can eat brunch, omelette bar, waffle bar, lobster Mac & cheese. Music and DJ are always a great time.

Great place for lunch or dinner, two bars, one inside and one outside.5 stars for the Greek truck, one of the best gyros in town. We tried chicken and lamb, greek French fries, and the Greek salad was very fresh. For sure we going back...!

Was very displeased that a security guard grabbed my arm and pulled me while I was doing nothing to provoke such an act. I was merely moving with the flow of traffic. After releasing my arm from his grasp, he proceeded to yell in my face. The service here was terrible and I’d never go back.

Came here for my bachelorette party and there were some huge red flags at the establishment . An employee come up behind a girl in our party and lifted her skirt to show some men she was with. When confronted she said she was “just admiring” and would get her a free drink. This same employee grabbed a male member of the party’s butt aggressively. When we went to a bouncer about the situation he immediately knew who the employee was telling us this wasn’t an isolated incident, however, in talking to the bouncer further he said “that’s it?” Insinuating that we were overreacting, then threatened to bring her over to confront us. Would not recommend especially considering the young crowd here.

I want to say thank you ☺️to the Security team from Saturday night. They were very attentive and helpful. They came to my friend’s rescue 🛟 right away, when my friend passed out temporarily from having his blood pressure dropped down drastically. On another note, all the fans from the upper location were broken !! Because when I asked one of the employees he said they don’t work 🙄So is hot and muggy upstairs. Please fix your FANS!!! I know there are not there just for decorations!! Again shout out to the SECURITY team!!💪🏾

Complete waste of money and a ripoff to attend any events here. Unless you pay an arm and a leg over the already pricey tickets for some questionable viewing space, you see NOTHING! They are able to accommodate maybe fifteen percent of ticket holders, the rest of the attendees watch the backs of people in front of them. AC and ventilation are nonexistent. Solid NO!

This bar was supposed to be really fun and I was super excited. However, when we got the bar we waited over 35 minutes to just end up not being served and leaving the bar after only the men being served. We were continually over looked and disregarded. Sami was the bartender who was rude and I would not recommend this bar to others. We ended up going next door to Booze Garden which was so so fun and I would highly recommend instead! Booze Garden was not a 40 dollar cover & had extremely affordable drinks!

Food was awesome! Great atmosphere! Needed a bit more from the djs..theres so much music out there but they kept replaying the same music! Needed a broader reach when it came to the music! Overall it was a great experience though..would definitely go back!

I go to this place one Saturday a month. For an event called old school and I can say that it is phenomenal. If you really want to listen to old music. Find out about this place. You will have an incredible time.

I wasnt drawn to this location because of the atmosphere, I was drawn to it because of the individuals running the venue. I have never met individuals successful yet humble enough to mingle amongst the crowd! That in itself is a statement. The stuff is amazing all of them Its like attending a family barbecue. The food is absolutely delicious and the menu changes 2-3 times so youre getting three hot meals and theres also an outside barbecue stand. There are several DJs playing live music and interacting with the crowd. It is in fact, a grown mature crowd. Its a mix crowd so you wont feel out of place and everybody is so friendly that you can just be yourself.

Went for the visit lauderdale food and wine festival, wok andcroll event. Cool venue, great drinks that were reasonably priced. I had a great time.

This place brings a very nice vibe. They have security and police officers in case things go left. The music is nice, the spot is divided into 4 sections. You have the food and dessert sections . You have the 1st floor, the 2nd floor, and an inside 2nd floor level. Each area is playing different music. However, my favorite location is 2nd floor balcony....you can see all the folks on the lower level and enjoy the Djs.

Don’t book party packages here. booked a party package a few months back for my friends bachelorette. I had confirmed everything was all set the week before our booked time. Everything went to garbage the second we showed up.They had planned a hockey watch party that started at 6, and had forgotten about our package. We had to wait outside for 30 minutes while staff scrambled to figure things out, passing us off to different people. Eventually someone brought us to the bar and told us it wasn’t her fault, zero party package stuff could happen and they ‘didn’t know what to tell us’ and said I needed to talk to the bartender. the brunette bartender was awful, super rude and told her manager in front of us she didn’t want to deal with us since we had open bar and she assumed we weren’t tipping. When I asked if we were getting a partial refund due to not getting half of what we paid for, she yelled ‘are you aware you’re getting an extra hour of open bar?’ No, because that’s the first time anyone said that.Some guy Gustavo who said he was the GM came over and apologized and said he would take care of us and he would be back with champagne- never saw him again.Additionally, I’ve emailed the event booker Jade, it’s been a week now and she’s definitely never going to respond. So I’m leaving this review now to warn other people not to waste their money.Two stars since the blonde bartenders were super nice, bouncer was funny, and we made the most of our time.

This place is really vibing. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone enjoying themselves. Been there twice and had a really good time with friends and hubby. Food and music great. Dj always on point, lots of people seems to celebrate their birthdays here. Servers are amazing too.

This place is amazing and the vibes definitely take me back to my era and keep my dancing for hours!My only issue with this place is that shortly after eating their food I became sick...ended up being food poisoned for about 48hrs.Besides the sickness, I would definitely return just to have a great time but will not eat from here again.

Atmosphere was great. Excellent customer service . One of the owners Dukes came to us and introduce himself, he made us feel welcome. Tje food, the Mimosa was excellent (I like passion fruit with my mimosa), the music was live, everybody that was there had a great time. If you have not gone there you need to try it.

Went into the bathroom stall with my friend and the bouncer or whatever the girl was opens the stall rips my friend out of the stall & says I one person alone in the stall at a time in front of everyone they are not good people

Open bar didn’t actually mean open bar, Sammy refused to serve until someone tipped and ignored an entire side of the bar that included at least 20 people. She was incredibly rude and took away from our experience here. The music was good but after the terrible bar service, we were no longer interested staying.

I have been here before when they had the pool in the center and just recently for a Dj event. I know it’s Spring Break but the overall bar and venue was a bit of a S show. The bathrooms were impossible to get to, they had way to many people for a limited outdoor space, I mean it’s big but they needed to have beer carts or something else because the bar backup was intense. They also had revolution live open which was unclear and confusing with only one entrance into Live which was blocked by a huge crowd. Overall confusing and disorganized but they are getting pretty big names which was cool.

Was there two weeks ago. Great place and atmosphere. Went back this past weekend and would not let me in with my camera(gopro 11). Not sure what sense that makes as it seems like they appreciate being advertised online. This past weekend they also charged at the door 25 to enter unlike the previous weekend and to my knowledge, there was nothing particularly different going on except an extreme amount of spring-breakers. Way to capitalize?

Americas backyard was a good time. We saw the Florida Panthers beat the Carolina Hurricanes. Huge flat screen TV out front, huge flat screen inside. The place was lit. Good service with an outdoor type setting.

$40 cover charge. Once you’re in you won’t get served unless you’re flashing money at the bartenders and you’ll have wasted 40 bucks. Mediocre music, better places you could go for less than time what you pay for this place. I would recommend somewhere else to anyone!

If your looking to get out of those tightly packed clubs and take a breather this is the perfect space for you. Huge area with beer pong,(my personal favorite) corn hole, 2-3 bars, decently clean bathrooms and up-ity party music. The atmosphere is great here and alot of people here are super chill. Plenty of areas to sit as well. This place is always great and i never had an issue going into here.

Really fun however I went on a laddies night and the bartenders had an attitude because no one was tipping however I offered to tip in card or send them money electronically but they said cash only & I think that is unfair to your staff considering how little people carry cash these days and we can literally pay with a tap of our phones. If the bartender is ok with giving permission to receive tips by phone or card they should be allowed to it’s only limiting them and slowing down service

Pretty big outdoor space. There are multiple bars. I do like the upstairs better. Was there for a panthers watch party and it was pretty busy, they had a big screen outside on the screen as well as one on the center stage.

Took my wife here for her birthday and it was everything we expected and more. DJ Slick Rick took the celebration to another level on the 1s and 2s. The food was plentiful and good. It was a good time. Definitely returning.

This place should be closed! My son was assaulted there Saturday 4/29 by 10 thugs. He was in the hospital for a broken hand a broken ankle and a HOLE in his face. Security just watched a long with 2 cops. I will be going to the local news about this. The police told us to never visit this establishment bc it’s the most dangerous place to be. Americas backyard.. I’m not done.

I celebrated my 30th high school class reunion at Backyard this past weekend with my classmates. The atmosphere was awesome and the music was reminiscent of our high school dances. I had a fantastic time! #PHSCO93

The vibes werent bad but i recommend you pay your bill with cash, because when i left there i payed 2 tabs but ended up with 3 charges. Seems very scandalous, the charge was small enough to go unoticed but i double check all my bills next day and noticed they charged me $3.00 and not even their shots were that cheap. I urge you to check your account the next day if you chose to hang out here.

Went for 80s hip hop concert. It was great. They have fans all over the place, kept us cool.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe. Too hot midday, but otherwise very nice. The food was plentiful but tell the cook to keep the chicken skin on the chicken and bread it instead of batter. Helps it stay juicy 😉

I have never taken my time to write a review for any establishment, but felt America’s Backyard was deserving of my time. The bar is extremely busy and very social. A good time to be around a younger crowed, but impossible to get a drink. I bought the $25 all you can drink special, but this proved to not be the case. The only way you are able to get a drink is it you wave $5 or $10 bills in the face of the bartenders. If you didn’t have money in your hand they simply would not get around to serving you. What is $25 for all you cans drink if you have to “tip” $10 every time you want a drink? On top of this I watched many bartenders drinking an excess amount while serving. I understand having a few drinks on the job while working at a busy bar, but this was out of control. Bouncers at the front door will charge you an additional $20 on top of the $25 cost for all you can drink if they feel like doing so, regardless if you are 21 y/o or not and they pocket the money. Overall it was a very greasy place that seemed to be more of a money grab that’s a real bar. I had high hopes but could never see myself returning here. A lot of hype from spring breakers but 100% not worth your time.

Pickle Fest was terrible!!!! paid for VIP tickets. We were supposed to get free tee shirts and private bathrooms and a VIP lounge. None of which was true. Was told our tee shirts would be mailed. It has been 3 months, and still no shirts. There were no pickles at all and only 2 food stations. Terribly promoted event.

The only way to get a cup of water at this place is from a pitcher left out in the open on the bar and you pour it yourself. That is extremely unsafe and that could be roofied in no time. This bar is fine otherwise but the fact that the water pitcher is left open at the front of the bar for anyone to grab is so unsafe and it needs to be changed immediately.

The DJ last Saturday night was THE BEST. I came here for my bachelorette party and it was so fun! The crowd was mostly early 20s. We were late 20s so felt a little old but overall the vibe and music were great. Highly recommend for a fun night of dancing.

Good venue, but they oversell tickets sometimes to shows. So it tends to get super cramped and crowded at times. Drinks are a bit pricey too. Close to $40 for a double well and a bud light. Im used to Poorhouse next door price and pours. The sound is pretty decent considering it is an outdoor venue, and the location is prime, but between the cost of parking and drinks you are going to be walking out of their spending well over a hundred bucks just on yourself

I love the energy of this place, the owner Christina & her team are the best trainers you could ask for. I come for a workout here everyday for the last couple of years, it helps me toning my body and elevating my mood. I am so so so grateful for them ❤️❤️❤️

It was okay. The food wasnt all that good but the DJ played a nice selection of different genres. If youre going to buy a table, then do not pay for the bottomless mimosas because they dont bring them to you like at Iguanas. You have to walk to the bar and get it 1 at a time.

Once a month, theyre hosting an Old Skool party. Its hip hip with a good dose of R&B and Reggae/Dancehall. Its for grown folk and old souls. Its a super chill, friendly vibe. Starts early, like 5or6pm on a Saturday.

ZERO STARS HONESTLY ! This place is very unprofessional and has horrible customer service. None of the employees or the promoters of Sunday’s Beyond Brunch knows how to properly deal with a customer when there is an issue. All they do is put the problem off on somebody else and then somebody else. A huge merry go round. I made reservations for March 6th at 2:00pm for my birthday just to get there prior to the reservation (standing in the heat) just to find out without notice my reservation was changed to 4:30. Then when asked about seating since where I requested was unavailable they offered me a section where we were advised that sitting there was a mandatory purchase of 5 bottles. Which I asked the supposedly manager Jade Levy about seating over the phone she told me that there wasn’t a limit and we could deal with the bottles upon arrival. Still I tried to enjoy myself because again this was suppose to be a birthday celebration just for it to turn out a complete disaster. When trying to get food we asked the men to stay and hold our seats (because where the waitress ended up seating us it’s first come first serve) in exchange we’d bring back the food just for the security to scream at me like a child saying “it’s one plate per person”. Not even being there a full 1 hour & about 30 mins I decided to leave. They have ZERO STRUCTURE ! NO CONSIDERATION. Their excuse was that they sell tickets at the venue as well as through promoters which caused them to be over crowded. When asked for accommodations or a refund the manager Jade stated they were having a meeting and someone would get back to me and it’s been 9 days since and I haven’t heard anything.

Overall giving a 4. I did not have any food, service was average and the atmosphere was really nice. Covered outdoor area with a nice stage and 2 large bars.

Cool experience, love the flat cover including alcohol. Came during college spring break time frame so a super young crowd, my party had all recently graduated so it was..interesting to say the least lol.

The set up at Backyard was extraordinary! Amazing night out. Staff is super friendly! Follows strict CDC GUIDELINES. The best part was the Collektives live band. Very fun family evening ! You can bring your kids or your pets. They have different artists and even a DJ on different days and nights. The food is really good and they have lots of drink specials. I did not go here, but I saw a tiktok (with proof of everything), and I wanted to post what happened on here to bring more awareness. A woman and her friend were in the bathroom, and went into one stall together to hold each others stuff. Then a lady that claims who didnt seem to work there dragged her friend out of the stall because of a one-person stall rule. In the tiktok comments, people were also complaining about how the same woman who dragged this lady out also has done this and others thing s to them (charging for toilet paper, charing people so they dont get kicked out, etc). If this woman really does work there, she needs to be fired, and either way, charged with assault. The woman who made the video also said the manager didnt do anything when reported this woman and said there was nothing they can do.

This venue is absolutely incredible. The staff were wonderful, security treated me fairly and professionally. Truthfully have never had a better experience at a club than at backyard!

This place is LIT!! Went there the other day for brunch and everyone was turnt even the people waiting outside in the line to get in. The unlimited mimosas were super good especially the pineapple one. All of the staff members were cool especially Nikole Barbour she makes the BEST mimosas and she’s super nice :). I most definitely will be going back again.

This is a great place to see a concert. I saw the band Spoon and they were absolutely fabulous. Its not a big place but just the right size so that you dont have to get caught in traffic or congestion. Theres a real good bar inside and you can drink anything you want while watching the show. The place can put out some great quality sound

This review is long overdue because Ive been to Americas backyard several times over the years and each time Ive gone, Ive had a blast.One of the reasons I like this place so much is because it is unlike anything that is currently in Miami. People come here to have a great time, listen to good music and dance the night away.Pros:The drinks are priced for the most part pretty reasonably.The music changes throughout the night. At times youll have hip-hop, at times youll have rock, youll even get a mix of EDM and 80s music.They barbecue and serve hot dogs and burgers there. Lets face it when youre partying the night away, you get hungry and this is a definite plus.They have multiple happy hour specials and my favorite is reserving the patio area for a bachelor party.Its surrounded by a multitude of bars and restaurants within walking distance which is perfect for late-night munchies.Cons:Its an outdoors venue so it can get very hot.There is no private parking for the specific venue so parking can be a bit of a problem.It can get crowded at times so again you can get hot.

Terrible customer service. The bouncers have terrible personalities (most of them) and were so rude when we were trying to talk to them. They denied my friend entrance with A REAL ID and multiple forms of identification. The Adam Sandler knock-off was so disrespectful for no reason 0/10. I was at this bar with my friends and one of the backyard “security” tried to drag my friend into a bathroom stall with her. When she screamed for help, he told her to get out of the bar and dragged her out so she was alone on the street. Do not come here. We told the manager and he did nothing. Zero stars.

This is not necessarily a reflection of the bars ownership, but I want people to be on guard to secure their cell phone while at the bar. Two cell phones went missing on Friday 3/26 from people in the same party and since than, others have mentioned knowing people who have also lost their phone at the Backyard. The bar is a lot of fun, but losing your phone is a real bummer. Have fun!

Got tickets from a Veteran organization and the venue treated me like a second-class citizen. The venue wasnt big and the food was not up to par with this being a taco and margarita event. I guess everyone wanted to get drunk anyway. Terrible event altogether.

Vibes were tip tier.Food was subpar...definitely worth the energy and good time but buy the ticket on a Monday and get half off....the full price isnt worth it for the quality of food and how its served (buffet style).

Loved the food here - surprisingly diverse menu with some unique spins on traditional dishes and new ideas too. The appetizers are generous portions and can easily be split amongst a group of 4.The seafood we ordered was high-end clean and fresh right on down to the fish dip appetizer which I could tell is made in house that day.I even took a chance on the deviled eggs expecting to be disappointed because Im a tough critic when it comes to those and they were phenomenal with the PERFECT flavor ratios and creamyness.The chips they serve are the red green and regular color medley, fun for food photos.If youre sitting outside, youre in for a treat, with two caveats. Dining literally on the edge of the intercoastal is beautiful, the boats are fun to watch go by (especially when theyre full of drunk folks) buuuut the smell of boat gas can really take over your taste buds mid-meal if one of them is particularly... exhausting... and the drawbridge thats maybe a quarter mile from where youre sitting goes up and down frequently, which means that youre listening to a ringing bell quite often - things to consider if youre someone with tinnitus or hearing aids or very sensitive to smells that could ruin your appetite. In my opinion its all still worth it because the food is top notch.Oh, and ask the wait staff about the crazy tree squirrel story, its a good one and they enjoy telling it.

Not sure what the hype was all about this place, its cramped, loud, and hot. There is no AC or fans running and they charge you $4 for a water bottle, not even at the worst bars that Ive been to have charged me for water. DJ wasnt very impressive either and despite the 21+ age restriction, there were clearly underage people in here. Security up front should do a better job at controlling that.

My friend could not come in because he was wearing pants. No you did not read that wrong.This place has a strict enough dress code that will deny paying customers entry for not wearing the right pair of pants. Why? Decent outdoor bar. The layout of the club itself is nice and the prices arent awful for downtown Ft Lauderdale. I had a pretty good time for the 45 minutes that my group decided to stop in for. The big negative to this place is the bartending staff. Numerous reviews mention that theyre slow, which is very true but the two that I interacted with were extremely rude and seemingly couldnt handle the stress of working in a high volume bar. This bar was my last stop of the night thanks to the staff losing my credit card. I would recommend this bar as the last stop of the night after youve already cut yourself off, and if do want another drink make sure to stay away from opening a tab.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The discrimination and unkindess that was experienced by myself and my friends was not okay. The staff needs to be trained to be kind. No person should be made to feel the way this staff made my friends and me feel. We will not be coming back.

Place gets crowded but is great. Like the beat of the music even tho I listen to country. The drink prices suck 11 bucks for along island after tip thats insane. Then by the end of the night they started shorting me on liquor I don t know the kind of people the serve but I watch how people make my drink and it just got crapper and crapper as the night went on. Okay so Im going to be brutally honest. I give this place four stars because I was really drunk that one time I went. I really did go just one time. Its not my type of scene or people I would hang out with. The girls were dancing on the bar and it looked very coyote ugly type. I mean, I guess thats a good thing for men who want to pry on young girls shaking their asses and to the point where you can see their va jay jays. Anyways, my friend got this really big long drink with an umbrella in it and the drink was delicious! With the drinks, you cannot go wrong but they are not cheap. The music was open, mixed. Would I go again? Probably not, like I said, its not my scene. I liked it because I was with friends, the environment is too much of a young crowd and a bit white trash.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Absolute WORST bar I have ever been to. Cover was horribly expensive for a sham “open” bar, staff was rude, and it took 20 minutes to get drinks. And even the drinks were bad! I would’ve had a much better time in my own backyard.

We live in the new apartments close by and the noise from this establishment is excruciating and painful. As we suffer through night after night the bass bombarding our rest and rattling our windows is inexcusable, a total and wanton disregard for the nearby residents. Numerous complaints to the police proved futile, just try to imagine living in a place where you are disturbed from a peaceful night’s rest seven days a week until 3 am

This place is the definition of trashy. I used to go here often, but it has changed over the years. Theyll hire anyone to work here. The shot girl never gave me back my change, and had security escort me out because she wanted to keep the rest of the money. Not to mention the bathroom is always full and smells like puke. Definitely one of the last places you should go to if youre in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Loved this place up until my phone was stolen right out of my locked purse. Was there for no more than 10 mins. Also many creeps posing as Uber drivers outside to assault women. Be careful.

I love this place, but they charge you for a cup of water now. When I see people complain about money I always ignore the reviews. However- a bar should serve cups of TAP water for free, for the safety and well-being of those around them. This is still a fav spot of mine, but I also like to hydrate.

I bought 4 ,3 dollar beers. The guy held my card to start a tab but I didn’t end up getting anymore drinks. My group left and I forgot to get my card. Now my card has a 40 dollar charge!! And I have been calling and leaving messages and no one answers! This is fraud!!

Spent over $300 in 20 min in drinks alone, and then I was assaulted by 8 security guards on my bday, they say you can’t use your phones by the restroom but there’s no signs, because of whatever drug or money laundering they having going on, screw this place and the owner.

Place was absolutely amazing. $20 stop charge, drinks are free till 12. Music was bumpin, liquor was cold and the women were hot. Highly recommend this one folks.

If I was still a teenager or college kid looking to get wasted somewhere (anywhere) on cheap booze listening to live music on a bad sound system (that no ones paying attention to anyway) this place would be heaven. It feels like an abandoned parking lot where they placed a few pop up bars and an elevated plywood stage. Lacks anything close to charm or nostalgia for backyard parties if thats the idea. No qualms with Stache or Revolution next door. If youre over 30-35 Id pass on this place and go to Stache instead.

Great atmosphere, the bar is open to the outside. The place has drinking games, girls dancing on the bar and even free shots at times. Live bands show up on busy weekends.

The security guards (especially Tony) were so receptive to potential situations and concerned with the safety of customers. Tony wanted a safe environment for everyone. I would recommend.

Its a large outdoor club with a stage attached to club Revolution and Stache.Honestly unless youre under 40, its not the type of club you want visit, back in the day when we were younger it was nicknamed the meat shop.

We were turned away because we didnt fit the dress code.. our pants were not fitted enough.. so we went back home to change and they had no choice bit to let us in.. and once we got in I cant say that I was surprised to see other ppl who werent following there dress code. . A few months later, this St. Patricks day weekend we decided to go out on a limb and try the place again despite the first impression. . This time while showing the men at the door my id another male walked over abd told me I wanwt allowed in because I violated dress code again because of my permanent gold teeth.. only two mind you! I asked was he serious and he straight faced told me yes we cant let u in! All I could do was laugh, since when was something in your mouth violating dress code?? Next there going to not allow ppl with tongue piercings and braces into their bar! Im pretty sure I know why this part of the dress code was put in place.. because gold teeth are associated with ghetto African Americans and thats one way to keep them out, discrimination dont u think? Im pretty sure next there going to not be letting anyone with dread locks or corn rows in.. im far from a thug and have never been treated that way because of mouth jewelry. . I wouldnt suggest this club to anyone, white, black, Spanish and everything in between
