Neon Moon Saloon

Went to this bar SEVERAL times as a young adult because it was easy to get into and drink. It was never a “nice” bar… always too packed, dirty with horrible staff. Usually where we started but never ended. My daughter turns 18 this weekend and we are venturing down to the stockyards to entertain 18 and up venues. I was told this bar is closed and sounds warranted. I’m honestly relieved.

Love this bar! The drinks are cheap and the music is good. Pools tables in both the front room and the Silverado room. Good jello shots!! Always a good time out in the stockyards

Music and the people you meet are cool. Staff and security, are way over the top and let their job title get to their head. Peoples safety is not their staff’s main concern and priority, but they like to boss people around and be rude for no reason. Guys can’t wear their hat’s backwards, don’t serve water for free you have to buy bottled water, my card fell out of my back pocket when I was dancing. We were told by the bartender, who was super nice, to go check the front. I described the card and the name on the card to a staff member, and it matched, and he still wasn’t going to give it to me. I had to pull out my ID to get it back, and threaten calling the police to get it back. They don’t take cards, when it comes to paying for a cover. So they make you spend extra money to use an atm, to get cash out. A staff member was grabbing on my friends arm, when she was standing there waiting to ask about my card being turned in, telling her she needed to move to the side, because of people coming in and out. Instead of just politely telling/asking her.

Neon Moon Saloon is by far the absolute best bar I have ever been to. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the environment of the bar is such a great atmosphere. The bouncers are by far beyond great. This is the first bar i’ve been to that is focused on customer safety and will do any/ everything to keep everyone safe. I would recommend this bar to everyone!!Fridays/ Saturday 9pm-2am!!!

2 of my drinks had unidentied bugs in them, then one had black mold. This place will be shut down soon for health code violations. Their primary customers are underage kids because they dont enforce age regulations thats the only reason they are still open.Edit for the owner: Based on your response, I highly recommend you take a better look at your team and refine your processes. Some of your equipment definitely need to be replaced. Ive worked in this business for almost 7 years as well, mostly security, so you should expect me to understand. Good luck.

I hesitate on the 2 stars, could be 1, but I liked the bartender in the back corner. My first margarita was the worst Ive ever had, it was like a salt lick. The bathroom line for women is ridiculous. Work on it, folks. Does it make sense to have beautiful women in line or on the dance floor?

Great music but staff thinks it’s very thought just because they have a shirt that says staff . They think they have the rights to push people out as they are walking out . A guy pushed me as i was getting a friends number i was not refusing to leave . I was walking out i am 52 this guy is tall about 6 something . I tell me you don’t have to push me out , you can talk to me . Then he goes on to tell me to stop being sensitive. Knowing all of us being there pay his salary . With out us there’s no club there’s no job for him. There at least ! Then there’s always fights worse place ever !

Do not go here! Went on a Friday night and the front desk lady took my ID and would not give it back claiming it was fake. It was not fake and 100% legit, and my only ID. She kept asking for my real birthday and I kept telling her but she didnt believe me. She said the only way to get my ID back was to call the police or wait until they closed at 2am to get it back. So I called the police and they got my ID back. Completely ridiculous and ruined my night. Stay away. Terrible staff

Great place, first off see a few city Boys posting about social distancing concerns. If you are that concerned dont show up here. Staff is great, bartenders always great! If you act a fool it will get rough for you.

Good atmosphere and dancing. However, the thing I noticed above everything else was the attentiveness of the bartenders. I was there on New Years Eve and I never waited more than a minute or two for a drink. Gave 120% tip to the guy. Great service.

First time going last night and I absolutely loved it the bartenders were really cool they were nice loved the atmosphere. But the DJ on the hip-hop side was very rude had an attitude problem when trying to request music thats the only reason Im giving it 3 stars versus 5. Music and the DJ is what makes a club better and when your DJ s attitude is as bad as the one at neon moon that really brings the place down.And luckily I didnt feel like going to jail. Other then that I would recommend this place.

Never have I experienced something like this before. My cousin and brother were jumped by the “security” inside the club only because my cousin spilled his drink. A white male in his 30’s who was supposedly “security” started swinging punches out of nowhere and choked both my cousin and brother until they almost passed out. That wasn’t all, as we were escorted out my cousin was again hit in the back of his head making him fall and as he was in the ground three security guys started kicking him. One of them kicked him in the face leaving a big cut above the eye with a black eye. Another friend who jumped in trying to help my cousin was also beaten up badly also in the face with several cuts. I didn’t even attempt anything against the bouncers but still ended up with a black eye as i was hit by one of the bouncers when trying to separate the bouncer when he was choking my cousin. I have never experienced something like this ever before, it’s really disappointing as we liked going to that club. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here honestly.

No social distancing at all. Bouncers were super rude and disrespectful. I went for a friends birthday celebration and unfortunately got Covid even though I didn’t dance and sat in the corner all night. This place is obviously not clean and very unprofessional.

Mostly old rap and pop was played at this country saloon on a Friday night the crowd was rather trashy and the bartender told me my first card was declined which I knew was impossible but I didnt argue, I handed him another card. Sure enough both cards were charged. Ive tried calling the bar countless times to resolve this issue and theyve yet to pick up the phone. First and LAST time going to this establishment. Would not recommend it to anybody looking to have a nice night out dancin

Horrible bar I got jumped by the bouncers for taking up for my wife when they accused her for something she didn’t do so now I have a black eye and a swollen face because 3 of them were punching me and kicking me in the face repeatedly! So I advise you if your looking to have fun here then you better watch your back or not go to this bar!

Not a bad bar if you only want to country dance! Bar prices are okay. Bad thing is the 25 dollar deposit for your card credit to start a bar tab.

The ONLY place in Quitman, Emory or Yantis (heck probably even sulphur springs) where you can grab a nice grilled chicken, or a heavy steak, plus full bar and a big dance floor. They have live and DJ’d music, and it’s worth a stop for date night. Or go have a beer and bring a sexy looking friend. If we can get some more good looking ladies out there it would be good. Take your ladies out for a dance and dinner.

Absolutely love the experiences I have there and the atmosphere is amazing. Safe and fun bar to meet new people at and have a great time with friends at. Will for sure be back!!

Two sides one country, one top 40. Trash music selection. No format, non danceable. Would say go somewhere else but this music selection is the norm for Fort Worth.

I was manhandled from the second I walked in the club. I was accused of being drunk, and because I was not wearing cowboy boots I was discriminated against and was forced to leave. I was literally assaulted after I had already paid and was on the floor. Makes me sick.

The lady checking IDs and taking money is VERY inspective of IDs if you arent caucasian or look caucasian. I was lucky she didnt ask for my birth certificate right then and there.

They need new staff, too many reports of people being seriously beaten and nothings been done. Sad. Seemed like a nice place till you see how the bouncers treat people.

Avoid this place at all cost. We weren’t in there for 5 minutes after paying $20 each and were thrown out for NO REASON!! Security has some MAJOR ego issues!! Wll never go back!

If I could leave a negative I would. Came to this bar while on vacation for a good time. My fiancé was wearing a plain white shirt and they wouldn’t let him in because he could be part of a “gang”?????? RIDICLOUS.

The bartender is Great, not expensive at all but I have been their about 4 or 5 times and seems the Djs play the same music every weekend especially in the Silverado room, seems like the guy just records his whole set and picks a song or 2 off the radio, its that horrible, I have seen regular local to huge International DJs and I am sorry but he has to be one the worst ones I have ever witnessed, he is also rude when I try to request a song, I am more than sure he does not do his diligence of learning how to properly DJ and learn on what music is trending, hell I would not mind to DJ for a night for free just so everyone else can enjoy a proper DJ performance.

New DJ ain’t cutting it. No line dances even though they were requested. No mix up of hip hop and country. And the songs just aren’t very good anymore... Guess we’ll go to pr’s.

It was ok to go to because not everyone in are group could get into one of the other bars but the drinks were more expensive than other places and it was more for a younger crowd that probably just turned 21 and can now start going to the night clubs and drinking

Kind of smokey, also freezing cold inside!!! Brrr. Dj on the hip hop side was pretty good though and atmosphere is fun.

This morning i get a charge to my debit card saying I tipped, i tipped in cash not on my card. Now i have to file a police report...

Poor atmosphere, cover free for sub par experience, pool tables missing balls and in terrible condition.

If you go to this club, do not let them hold your credit or debit card for your tab. You will never see it again!

I lost my phone dj found it but they wont let me get it or return calls an jus avoid question everytime i ask

If you like the 18-21 crossed I suppose it wouldnt be as bad. Be prepared for kids to ask you too bit their drinks.

This place allows under age from 18 to 20 yeats. So, this place has mostly very young adults and their music.

If youre under 20 and white Id reccomend this place. This place has turned into the definition of white girl wasted.
