Amazing place! I received a giftcard and came here for one of their weekly specials. It was my first time ever getting a full body massage. I really prefer intense pressure on my knots and they did an excellent job meeting this request. Each employee was very courteous and welcoming. After the massage, they let you sit in the hot salt room which was (as expected) very dry but nice lying down on the floor. Ambience is great too. I hear their garden area is lovely although I did not pay for that on this visit. Will definitely return.

I don’t really write reviews but I had my daughter’s sweet 16 spa party with 10 girls and they were raving about it. It was clean and beautiful lush trees. Sue and all the workers made the girls feel very comfortable and relaxed. So relaxed they feel asleep lol. I highly recommend Butterfly Garden Spa. I will be back.

I just finished and I couldnt even wait to give a review. This place is so lovely!! The staff is so welcoming and kind. Clean and safe environments. Very knowledgeable staff. I received both a facial and massage. It was my first facial, but they were able to assess my skin and recommend the best treatment for me which produced great results by the end. Dont hesitate to book an appointment!

I had a great experience here last weekend. I got a facial and Cindy did a great job balancing the oiliness and dryness of my face. I also got a 30 minute massage and got to take my time in the salt hut and steam room. Definitely will go back soon!

Korean body scrub is amazing. Always get it before I get a spray tan or go away on vacation. Highly recommend for the smoothest skin. The staff is so nice as well! Will be coming back :)

It is clean and relaxing environment.I usually do the scrub massage and 1hour deep tissue massage. I always feel so wonderful and happy every time I go there.

Loved this spa, and I highly recommend it. Great service & love the ambience, atmosphere, & how this place is covered with butterflies and natural plants. 2nd time coming here and I was very satisfied. Got the package for full body scrub & message (highly recommend) my skin feels amazing! The wet suana(steam room) is great, jacuzzi was allright. Wish you could stay longer, but overall great experience.You get a locker and robe/ towel with slippers. Theres cups and water for you. So dont worry about those things. Parking available on site as well, so its a very nice and relaxing experience.

Butterfly garden spa is one of the best values for a spa in Nassau county. It’s a truly beautiful spa with great amenities and very skilled masseuses.Sadly we only make it here once a year! Strongly recommend coming for a couple’s massage.

This is the second time I have visited, and the body scrub was great, just like the first time around... They should give you more time in the jacuzzi. My massage was not that great. She asked me if I wanted medium or hard. I said medium because I tend to be very sensitive when its too hard, but to be honest, it felt like she was just rubbing me down with oil. I really didnt feel like I got a massage. My first experience was 100 times better. But other than that, the staff is great. Clean. Friendly.

Avoid this place. at the beginning they say $65 for one hour massage and when you want to pay at the end, they will force you to pay outrageous $15 tip. you might not be happy with the service, then why you tip the person. their method of getting money is exactly like robbery at the gun point. this was my last time.TRY OTHER PLACES.

I have been here many many times over the years but this was my last. The owner Sue kept asking me to bring my friends...same price changed from $159pp to charging 10 of us $225pp (including tip) without ever asking how much we would like to tip. Sue didnt even bother to make it right with a loyal and local customer.

The amenities are wonderful- ranging from jacuzzi, scrub/wash room, steam room, massage rooms, and sauna salt cave. It is a hidden oasis that I look forward to returning to every single time. Whether it is for some solo self care or a couples experience, they really go all out. Their staff is well experienced, courteous, and very kind. The place was highly recommended by a friend. It was okay!Positive: I scheduled my appointment last minute, they were very accommodating. I was also running late and still very accommodating. My masseuse was really nice, she asked if she was applying enough pressure, if the hot stones were to hot etc.Negative: The aesthetic’s was off for it to be a spa. It looks very outdated, which kinda messes with the ambiance. The changing area is also very small, no privacy to change. They don’t allow you to wear shoes but the shoes they provide are old and worn out. Not sure that it is sanitary to share shoes.My biggest complaint is the required gratuity. I tipped $10 and was informed I had to give 20%. I had no issue paying the 20% had I been notified in advance but I don’t like that after the service this is sprung on you. Regardless of how you like the service you HAVE to tip 20%.

I came here with my husband and we paid $300 per person. 6 people worked on us and I had to tip them all of course but when I tipped them sue told me it’s not enough and I have to tip more because of their “policy”. Very rude behaviour.

Sue at the front desk taking care of the details, and Cindy providing a heavenly massage was just wonderful.The place is meticulously clean, but over and beyond all that, here is what I loved the most: the staff was cordial and kind, which is so rare, nowadays. Decent people!My wife & I will be returning.

My husband and I got swedish massages here. First, the place is really nice and neat and quiet. Second, the massages were incredible and the masseuses were very skilled at massage.The only minus was that the masseuses cut our 90 minute massage short by 15 minutes, but the owner obliged us with a credit for next time. Will update this review when we use the credit to describe that experience.The use of the other facilities was also very nice and enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed the private jacuzzi area. This is a great place for couples. I recommend this place and will be back again.

This is more a place to be serviced and cleaned like a car, rather than a relaxing spa. If thats what youre looking for, to be aggressively exfoliated and massaged, then this might be what you want.To unwind and pamper yourself, not so much.Also, you should not be afraid of being nude in front of the staff. They get basically every inch of your body.

I came here twice because I enjoyed the first time. Everyone is very nice, including the owner. The masseuse is sweet and takes her time and kept making sure that I was okay. It’s kind of too pricey though, but I knew that going in. However, I felt cheated the second time I went because the owner insisted for more tip. The minimum tip was $15 so I decided to give $20, but then the owner pushed me to give $25. According to her, because my entire service was 90 minutes and not the usual 60 minutes, I had to pay more tip, but I paid more money for the 90 minute service so I don’t understand why I needed to pay more for tip. Honestly it’s a good place if the owner didn’t push for tip. But I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again

Best spa ever I have been going there for the last 11 years! All the women Ive ever had massage me are nice,and professional. Im a bigger woman so sometimes the massage person can make me feel uncomfortable ,or not want to touch me. And for people who complain about the 15.00 minimum tip get over it cheapo! I always get a hot stone,and then lay in the hot hut as I call it. Go and enjoy you wont be sorry!

I love this place! I went there today with my cousin and friend after so many years since I enjoyed my first time I had the Korean scrub from them via Groupon. Their facility is very clean and all the staff is very professional and friendly. The extra amenities like steam room, Himalayan salt sauna, & jacuzzi are all free on the weekends. I definitely and highly recommend them for local bonding time with family and friends. There are no issues with parking. Their packages are reasonably priced. I had a Korean scrub with 30mins total body massage which is my only criticism is that the massage could be better with concentration on back, neck and shoulders. Overall, I’m very satisfied customer! I can’t wait to schedule my next appt for other treatments.

The worst experience ever. Dirty place. Staff are so disrespectful. They just put soap on you and rub a dirty used sponge on you for 10 minutes total. They call it a scrub and charge you 115$. I asked her to get a new sponge and she rudely responded “put your face down” !!! Facility is super dirty. Hair and dirt all over also smelly. She poured water inside my ear canal and was very disrespectful the whole time. You get an appointment at 5 they make you walk around in a dirty robe till 6 pm. I hated it. Waste of money and time. Everything was so dirty. She was pouring dirty water on me with a bowl from a bucket !! Ugh I came home took a shower immediately and how dare she was to say rude things to me also as I was laying there she didn’t bother to close my room door left it open ! Don’t go here that’s it.

This place may not be a fancy spa with the ambiance, but their services get the job done. I come here 3 times a year with my two kids to get the Korean Scrub and we always end up with smooth silky skin!

The best massages and you must get the scrub. They are nice, professional, and accommodating. The facilities are sparkling clean and low key. My skin has never felt so soft!

I had high expectation for this place thinking that the price would match the quality of the massage especially one of my good friend recommened this place. Instead, i was highly disappointed. Not only my masseur was late, they left 10 minutes early and the massage feels like i was just getting oil applied to my body. 1 out of 5 for deep tissue massage. When i complained to the owner, she told me that is why other masseur did additional minutes for me, which was quarter of the amount where my masseur left. If you are into getting massages do not waste time and money at this place because i can get a free body oil/lotion applying session instead of paying $100.

My favorite spa- I have to drive a bit to get to it however its the best service hands down. I go about 3 times a year now for the past few years. Highly recommend the hot stone and deep tissue massage. Will try to get a scrub one time as well.

My friend Kim took me for my first facial at Butterfly Spa this morning. It’s was absolutely amazing and so relaxing!! The place was very clean and everyone is so friendly! Not to mention that they give you refreshments and have a Himalayan salt rock cave for after! Also Sue did my facial she was just so sweet and kind throughout my whole session. I highly recommend this place! I actually already recommended it and I was there only 2 hours ago! I’m never one to talk a place up unless I really enjoyed myself, which I did! So again definitely give this spa a try. You won’t regret it!!

My mom and I have been coming here for 10 years now. Sue, the owner, is extremely professional, personable, and accommodating to her costumers. All of the women who work here are lovely as well. The place is beyond clean and organized. The sauna is my favorite part of the spa. Never a bad experience and always look forward to my next spa day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Two days ago I Went there with my wife.She enjoyed her massage more than I did.I don’t think that the whole experience was worth $100 per person but that wasn’t the main issue.Got to the point I needed to pay, which I did. The owner of the place reminded me that Tip was not included ( I don’t like when people do it).I said ok and left $10 for each therapist. Than the owner of the place told me that she is sorry but they have a minimum $15 tip policy.I was shocked! You can’t make me leave tip. She said that’s how her ladies earn their money. I told her that it’s not my problem she don’t pay her people and it’s not ok she puts me in that corner.I don’t think I would be coming back again :(

If I could increase the star max, I would rate Butterfly Garden Spa a 10! The space is immaculate; Sue and the staff are wonderful, highly professional and client service oriented. This place is an oasis for the stressed and tense! A true gem!

O.M.G.!!! This place is heaven! The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. The facility is very clean. We received very attentive care and the massages were amazing! My mother came out looking brand new and extremely relaxed, she also raved about her facial. I enjoyed my massages as well, aaaggghhhh, still feeling in cloud nine. I took my mother to the Butterfly Garden Spa for a mother/daughter day and it was truly an incredible experience. The staff was so friendly and nice - They made us feel so special during our visit. HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Services are good but the place is not appealing at all. The walls are made of tile stone. There is nothing appealing about the interior. In addition they use regular yogurt after the body scrub. Very dated and men and women are in the same area. Not my cup of tea.

I got a Thai massage and it was definitely the best massage I have ever had. Grace did a spectacular job. And afterwards, I relaxed in their beautiful and comfortable salt sauna.I live 6 hours away, but I come to the area regularly to visit family and I will definitely be back!

Im so shocked to read some of the negative reviews....but i guess everyones experience is different. I absolutely love this place. Its clean, quiet and very relaxing. Su the owner is very accommodating and when i come with several ladies, she always gives us fresh fruit and hot tea. I always get to request WHO i want for my massage, and i have no complaints! Ive done couple massages also No complaints! She literally remembers our names, makes it very personal to me- I like it!

If you are in need of a great massage - this is the place! I got my first massage here the day after I ran the NYC marathon and I have been coming here ever since. The masseuse’s know what they are doing and I always leave feeling brand new. The manager sue is very accommodating to all of your needs, please take my word for it.

Wonderful spa and highly skilled masseuses. Price point is unbeatable for quality :) Only feedback is that the areas can be quite loud during treatment with people walking by and talking. In the locker room, someone was having a full volume phone conversation which did not facilitate a relaxing environment.

I LOVED IT... this was my first spa experience and I loved every minute of it. From the moment I walked in I knew I made right choice. I was warmly welcomed and felt the great energy of the staff. The spa was clean. My body scrub was oh soo good. The massage was a lil painful but I needed it cause my muscles were tight. And the fruit (fresh pineapple) was sweet and juicy and not out of a can. Ive been to many spas but not one has completely wowed me to the point where I cant stop talking about it. I received the korean body scrub, facial and four hand massage. It was a day of pure bliss and relaxation. As a new mother...my mind, body and soul definitely enjoyed every minute and needed a day off. The amenities went above and beyond every expectation I have ever had. For a frequent spa go-er, this one by far was worth traveling to (I live 2 hours away) and every penny. Now i make it a tradition with my friends to visit at least once a month because it was just that good.I left feeling like a whole new person. My skin felt like silk for weeks!! Make sure you allow for plenty of time to enjoy the facilities. Exceptional!! Stellar service and we love the staff and owner!

Went here on 8/3/21 for a body scrub and Kim was amazing. The front desk receptionist was extremely nice as well. I normally go into the city for this service but Butterfly Garden is officially my new go to. Thank you guys again and I will be back for sure to try other services!

Jina, the masseuse gave me a full body massage. I requested deep, strong pressure. The massage was excellent. I have about 40 massages a year and Jina ranks amongst the top. I enjoyed the heated Himalayan salt room for relaxing. I did get a 2nd massage from Jina 5 hours later.

Butterfly Garden Spa is an amazing spa experience! I have been a couple of times and always enjoyed a top notch treatment with excellent courtesy and customer service. I brought my mom here for her 65th birthday and she said she enjoyed the best massage that she has ever had! The therapist was so knowledgeable about what to do with her body, she left feeling renewed! Butterfly Garden Spa in Great Neck is a premium spa experience!

Lovely services.But…beware: there is a mandatory tip of $15/service. I would have tipped anyway but I think it would be more honest to tell people upfront that they’re going to be charged an extra $15, $30, or $45 before happening to notice the sign off to the end of the counter.

Had an hour massage here and it was so uncomfortable. The next day my body was so sore, I couldn’t even move the next day. Something was off about this place. Also they cover your face with this weird crusty paper towel that smells like butter ? I’ve never experience something so ghetto lol

Absolutely wonderful. Everyone is so kind, massage and facial were fantastic - and a rest between services in the meditation room (salt cave) was the cherry on top. Will be back!!

Nice upon entering but thats about it. The changing area does not have enough space or seating or privacy. The steam room was too hot and steam seemed to suffocate me. There was an odd smell like sour or mildew. I had a scrub and wrap. Ive had much better scrub at Spa Castle... I didnt feel as smooth or clean. The wrap was weird yogurt and oatmeal mixed. Then you lay there wrapped in foil sheets on your back. Which was very uncomfortable. My neck and back was sore. My skin was dry as they didnt offer any other moisturizing unless you brought your own. I would not go back.

It was a birthday gift from my guy. I had an amazing day. they were very polite the establishment was clean and we enjoyed ourselves. What definitely recommended to others.

The services are mediocre especially for the prices they charge. The employees are sloppy and dont do a proper job. My massage was more painful than relaxing. The only thing that I liked about this facility was that they were clean and that they offer fresh fruit in the medication room.

Unprofessional and not clean. No sheets on beds you lay on towels with throw blankets from Marshall’s. I walked in no one showed me around of told me anything I had to find someone to get a robe no one spoke English I asked which shoes were clean there was a bunch lined up and she said these clean these dirty (pointing to right side of the line and left side like who tf knows if ANY were even clean??) threw me in a room didn’t say anything like who would be massaging me or to get under the sheet for them but there was no sheet just a giant paper towelSo I got under it and the woman said no no no up and smacked my naked butt after she ripped the paper towel off and made me stand up in front of her butt naked to put the paper towel back down on bed. Then st the end she didn’t give me privacy to put my robe back on she took the paper towel off me again and made me stand up naked and she wrapped me in the robe so humiliating and uncomfortable then at check out I was informed that there’s a tipping minimum how is that even legal??? So I had to leave a tip even though I didn’t want to. I would never go back here ever. No spot for soiled linnens so who knows if anything was clean and the robe they gave me to wear was damp like someone had been already wearing it. No customer service no decency 0 star experience

This is a great place if you’re in need of a traditional Korean body scrub... I am so addicted I can’t go more than 3 weeks without one and it’s really nice to avoid the craziness that is Spa Castle... I am frequently in LI for work and I will definitely be back to this peaceful place... thank you sooo much!
