Massage Envy

Had $50 xmas gift card, so decided to buy some of their products. I was only able to buy two with this gift card..One was for under eye care for $32 and the other product was firming lotion for $20. I enjoyed both products. All the other product brands were from $50 to over $100 each.I was thinking about getting a massage, but there was no spa like music vibe. There was no relaxing waiting room area with scented candles or oils. Lastly, the front desk reps didnt seem inviting or happy to be there.I doubt I will return, so I have nothing else to add.

Such a great, calming, friendly and relaxing experience. Verne was reassuring, asked about pressure and my comfort level. She is amazing! I was greeted and checked in/out by Niya who demonstrated incredible customer service skills. Emaras smile is contagious and I was happy to chat with Jaz briefly as well.

My husband got me this appointment as a present for Valentine’s Day. I thought the atmosphere was calming and well kept upon arrival. The front desk receptionist was kind. The therapist came out and asked questions as well. However, when entering the room the bed was cold ( even when asked to turn it on- this did not happen) during the massage the fan was so loud and the therapist forgot to put on the music until half way through- but it couldn’t be heard with the loud obnoxious fan) The therapists applied too much pressure and when I called out an “ouch” didn’t even acknowledged that her pressure was too much. Overall, not a relaxing environment nor a relaxing experiment.

Rakita that’s it that’s all. Multi faceted masseuse THERAPIST professional kind patient and most important knows how to get you from pain to pain free! If she leaves I will, I only followed her there.

Just got one of the best upper body massages I’ve ever gotten from Rikita, highly recommend her. Great firm pressure, worked everything out of my neck and back.

I love this place! I see Daniel on Saturdays. He is AMAZING! Hes very good at what he does and he makes sure he gets u feeling better. Ive been going for months now, and will continue to do so. The ladies up front are so sweet and very helpful, and we usually have a nice chat before I leave. When I first started going there, they explained all the prices and etc. very well to me, and made sure I understood the charges, plans, etc. When I leave, I feel brand new. Its definitely worth a try if youre on the fence. I havent felt this well in a long time. Also,they have a very clean and nice facility, and equipment too.

The 2 stars is not because of the massage itself, it was great. My issue is when I went to pay up at the counter with my gift card, I was told there was only $75 on it when last I used it there was $143 left. I don’t want to believe it was malicious and intentional, but I was caught off guard by the amount that I didn’t ask for my card back before it was thrown away. I kept the receipt from the last time it was used which is why I knew it was supposed to have more on it then what the receptionist said. I wasn’t sure what to do so I just paid and cut my losses, but it does make me a little frustrated if I wasted my card at this location.

I have to change my rating because I dont like how I have been paying my fees faithfully. But I cant ever get an appointment neither can I allow anyone to use my credits the way I want. They have too many rules. Do not get the membership at all, its not worth it at all. And they went up on their fees. Also you cant canceled the membership unless you provide a doctors note or you stay too far away. I tried to let my daughter use my credit and she cant use them but the bc i cancelled. Smh Dissapointing.

I had a wonderful, relaxing Experience at Massage Envy with thee Amazing Brandon. He was able to release tension while leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks again!!

I had such high hopes but unfortunately I left disappointed. The therapist was extremely nice but that was about it.

I canceled my membership because of this location. Couldnt get an appointment when I needed/wanted one and/or with the therapist I wanted. When I did get an appointment, theyd call me and ask me to reschedule. Really?! This happened for a year and a half. Nah. Not paying a monthly membership for a membership I couldnt use.

My first impression: Im really impressed by the clean facilities and relaxing, beautiful rooms. Even the bathroom is a nice experience! The receptionist are very professional, polite, and helpful.The level of service is phenomenal. Some of the massage therapists are better/more experienced than others, but you will always leave feeling rejuvenated. When I got a 60-min massage done by ArMallorie I walked out feeling like I had brand new back. My flexibility was noticeably improved for months after just one session with her.

Massage therapist are wonderful. I recommend a full body stretch for flexibility, and a 90 minute massage. Why 90 minutes? Because 30 is way too short, 60 is good but 90 is fabulous. Relax, nap and enjoy the experience. Ive had either or and both, whether you choose both the same day or separate days you will enjoy the results.

Honestly, I do not want to even give this place one star. The girl manager there was very rude & an arrogrant person. I have never expeienced such poor customer service. I went in with a gift for a massage & also asked for a former gentleman that was a massage therapist there. She said he was no longer there & just openly put this employee down to myself & other clients there. So unprofessional. When you are going in a place to relax, feel peace & comfort - this was not a good atmosphere.In addition she talked like this in front of other clients there. I was so put off by her awful attitude - I left. I also was not the only one who left - a male & another female walked out behind me - both saying what a horrible atmosphere & the gentleman brought up a good point - if she talks about her employees & former employees like that - how does she talk about her customers & others? The atmosphere she presented was not peaceful - I will never go back to any massage envy because of this manager. I found another great place & much more professional -its farther to go but worth the drive.

Very professional and they actually care about your overall health. My therapist was LaChristian. Ive had many massages and my experience with her was by far the best. Shes very professional, knowledgeable, and her skill is phenomenal! If youre not familiar with a therapist, the private encounter can be a bit awkward. I was very comfortable in her presence and the communication was great. I highly recommend her.

Customer service was not good. The front desk worker did not explain there services and acted like she wanted me to pay and go and not take time to explain. I have been to many other massage places and enjoyed the way they want you to be relaxed from the time you walk in until you leave. This was not that, walked out aggravated and tense

Love this place! While it is very hard to get an appointment with a specific therapist the ladies in the front are very nice and no one makes you feel rushed. The atmosphere is very relaxing!Tanisha is my favorite! But remember each person is different, so dont only go off my choice, the others are great too.

Pleasing ambiance and very courteous staff. Also, great convenience to make massage more accessible. The big drawback is therapists can be very hit or miss with experience level and ability. Therapists have always been professional, but range widely in therapeutic knowledge and skills. Ask good questions before booking with a specific therapist to get the full view on who is providing your massage.

This place is awesome I never been to a more up scale ,massage Envy hands down the best I dont know her name but the light skin Beautiful girl at the desk is so sweet and nice they really make you feel at home 😊 oh my lord that worm bed is so nice Im going back soon 🤪

I started going to massage envy last year and fell in love with my massage therapist Trina. She is friendly and does a wonderful addition massage. Also, Ashley is also a very well trained and skilled massage therapist so I have two therapist to choose from. I would recommend either of them but unfortunately they are both leaving the business. I will follow both of these great therapists.

I actually went yesterday to massage envy to get a hour massage. It was a great experience. Always is. They are very professional and courteous there. They always are concerned and tell u bout the different services they have.The environment is so relaxing and comfortable. My therapist is Vernae whom I always go to. She the best. I never leave disappointed. She always concern and ask questions before the session. I would definitely recommend Vernae to anybody and recommend massage envy as well.

I can move my neck again and slept well for the first time in YEARS!!! This was my first professional massage and I feel great! I have had issues with my neck and back and am scared to death of a chiropractor so I thought I would give this a shot and so glad I did. Thank you guys so much. Everyone was so pleasant I bought myself and my husband a membership last night. He has bad back issues so this is my gift to him.

Starting off with front desk help Jada, she is extremely helpful, patient, kind and insightful on the whole process of massages. I’m not new to the world of massage therapy so it was nice to know that we were being greeted by someone who knew what they were talking about. We had a couples massage with Kay and Jay. Kay was able to give me perfect pressure on the pressure points and work out muscle knots which I haven’t been able to experience by any masseuse for about 3 years! Jay did my husbands deep tissue massage and I have never heard him tell someone it was too much pressure- way to go!!! I have trouble giving him even enough because his muscles become so tense and literally rock hard in his arms and legs, she was able to work them out to a normal level so he can function! I give all three staff members 10+ stars and we will be back to see them!

My first massage experience was here and cannot say enough good things about it. Rose Mary was wonderful! Clean, nice space. Definitely recommend going here.

OK let me tell you what these people pulled! I went in and purchased a massage package for my Mom for Christmas. I looked through the offers, chose an hour massage with one upgrade. I made sure to include the tip because it was a gift and I didnt want my Mom paying for anything. Getting in was hard but thats too much to get into. Then they wanted HER credit card. She said no but after some back and forth she caved. Then they tried to tell her the gift card was only for 50 and that they were putting the tip on her card! Then my Mom told them i had included the tip and they were like, oh. It says it has 65 on it so we just need the rest of the tip balance. My mom called me and I sent her a snap from my banking app. They tried to rip us off! THEN YOUR HOUR STARTS WHEN YOU GET BACK THERE so you better change quick because the clock is ticking. She said it smelled like a sweaty sock back there too. Yuck. She thanked me anyway and said Merle Norman was a lot better.

I have had chronic shoulder pain and tension headaches from deep knots in my upper back for years and have gone to many different massage therapists trying to combat the tension. Most recently, I went to Massage Envy in Greenville for an introductory 2-hour session. The facility set me up with Dee, a wonderful massage therapist who specializes in trigger point and deep tissue massage, due to the comments I put on my appointment request. I cannot sing Dees praises enough. From the start she was concise and professional, and she listened to me (a first among my experiences) and immediately dug in to the knots in my back. I could feel the stress almost literally melting off my muscles with each layer she worked on. She also approached the session holistically, showing me ways to stretch out my upper back and my neck so the muscles wont tighten so much, and she counseled me in ways to manage my stress so my back wont suffer. Dee wasnt pushy in any way with her recommendations; rather, she understood my position in life and gave her recommendations to me with that realistic perspective in mind. By the end of the session, I felt infinitely better, and I was almost ready to buy a membership on the spot so I could keep coming back to Dee and keep those back knots at bay. However, I asked the front desk what the membership cancellation policy was (thank goodness) -- as it turns out, the membership cannot be cancelled unless 1. you move to an area outside of a 25 mile radius of a Massage Envy location; 2. your doctor gives a medical reason why you should no longer receive massages; or 3. the manager specifically approves your reason. I asked if financial reasons would be enough for a cancellation, and they said no. As a graduate student, I dont particularly have a lot of financial stability, and goodness knows what kind of income Ill have in a year. To hear their membership cancellation policy was incredibly disappointing to me.All this to say: if you want a fantastic, customized massage experience, Massage Envy is great. I cannot recommend Dee enough, especially if you have trigger points, like me. However...... after that introductory session, expect to have to pay an exorbitant amount of money for your sessions, or go for a membership with more reasonable costs but in which youre chained to the enterprise. I would give Dee 5 stars, but the membership cancellation policy (and the fact that this information wasnt volunteered to me in the packet -- I had to specifically ask) makes me want to give 2-3 stars. For Dees sake, Im giving a 4-star rating.

The reality of the importance of this outfit to my overall health and wellness is incalculable...immeasurable. I dont know how I managed prior to finding them...but Im so glad I did!!! Tanisha has been taking care of me and my pain management issues for years now. Im a rough and tumble sort and routinely assign no value to the consequences of my actions. Hell, sometimes I dont even know the pain is there. My life had become about acceptance. Tanisha and Allen take care of my girlfriend and I, as we both are work-a-holics and rarely make time for self-maintenance. Thanks doesnt quite encapsulate our appreciation for them. Nonetheless, thanks a million fold!!!

Great place to relax your mind and get a massage when you on hurt mode. Love how they focus on your pain points and ask where your restricted areas are to make you feel comfortable. Allen is my masseuse and he is perfect!

Clean, front desk is always cheerful and my message therapist “Allen” does a great job. I use firm pressure and he digs in to relieve stress points at the level of pressure that works for me. I recommend this Message a envy location.

My only complaint is that Im only in town for business & I cant come back. Jasmine definitely helped my sore back. If you are in Greenville then go see Jasmine for a massage. Thank you Jasmine! XOAnd the staff are very friendly too.

Nice staff. Relaxing setting. Only down side is my original masseuse left and took her services elsewhere. I was saddened by this. However my aesthetician is still there and provides great service.
