I scheduled an appointment for a 60 minute session with rapid tension relief with Mollie. Mollie was absolutely amazing - both with the massage and her personality. As someone who is AuDHD, I really appreciate direct questions and being clear on whats happening. She was incredibly professional, made me feel at ease, and I left feeling better than I have in years.Thank you so much, Mollie.

Dont think I’ll be coming back to the location. I was on time, and my therapist grabs me 10 minutes after my scheduled time, and then starts the massage at about 15 minutes after my scheduled time because well, I needed to undress. I made sure to look at my watch because my time cut short was my initial experience at this location.Oh! But she definitely stops at the 55 minute mark, so I didn’t get my full 50 minutes. During my massage, I can hear their music play from her ear buds while she’s humming to the song.As mentioned, my very initial visit was short and I summed it up to not having a membership — but seems to be the norm.

The massage was ok, I was really disappointed with the service provide by this store and the corporate. I had one gift card and upon arrival they were all smiles and said we can solve the question later( was missing the card number) I tought, they will clear with corporate, since I bought online), but for my disappointment, I just heard the we cant do nothing about it. I had to reach out the corporate, by email, to solve it. If you are looking to buy a franchise, i would avoid this one, wont come back. Wont recommend.

I used to love going here but the prices are just too much now. Ive been trying to cancel my membership for 3 months now!!! They cant seem to figure that out so apparently my last option is to change my debit card & bank account number!!! Theres only a couple of therapists I even like & my #1 is leaving! Ill be following her. DONT start a contract here!! Its just not worth it!!

Extremely unprofessional establishment with unprofessional message therapists! When I come to an establishment for MY personal relaxation and where I am paying with MY hard earned money, I am not there to play therapist or play as some type of trash dump where you can vent and displace negative energy into. I dont care about your personal life, your political beliefs, sexual proclivities, dislike of certain clients and their bodies, nor do I care about how you hate the owner or people you work with....NOR do I want to hear about your plans on starting your own practice and plans on sabotaging your current place of employment by taking half the staff and clients with you (Neal). A little conversation is fine but when a therapist cant read the room and stop talking long enough to where you can relax, there is a problem....especially when I am paying good money for a 120 minute massage. Honestly, this place needs to clean house because based on my experience and the reviews for this location, this particular franchise will be lucky to still be around within the next year.

HORRIBLE Customer Service from Front Desk to Management to website. I had booked a hot stone massage on the website and received a confirmation email stating “custom massage”, assuming that’s what a hot stone massage was called. When I arrived for my appointment the woman at the desk checked me in and informed me that they don’t have someone there for hot stone. I told her that’s not what I wanted. It was MY fault because I booked it wrong. Her response was I either pay cancellation fee or pay for the 90 minute massage- No other options. No reschedule for something different….even within that 90 minute that was reserved. That’s it. That’s their “policy”. What kind of customer service is that? This company isn’t about making a customer happy. This company is all about taking money your money. Who would ever sign up for a membership when they treat people like this who aren’t members.

Beware of the membership cancellation terms.Ive gone to this location for at least 2 years. Until recently, I did see a couple therapists regularly that are excellent workers. Unfortunately the schedule has become more booked for the young lady I was seeing regularly in recent months. So I did book with a different therapist a few months ago, who twice had to cancel my sessions due to illness or other personal reasons. Eventually, I had a massage booked early October, which was of mediocre quality.After all that, I decided to cancel my membership. Members are charged automatically each month regardless if a session is booked. Im told that there are 3.5 hours of credit on my account. According to company policy, unused credits are nonrefundable. Even after explaining scheduling conflicts, and a half-hearted massage session, the company wont refund my account credit in any form. Since credits are only good for massage sessions, and cant be used for tipping therapists, Id rather cut my losses.There are some good workers at this location. However, the no refund policy for unused funds is ridiculous and unjust. I recently filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well, in the small hope that makes a difference and I can get my account funds back.

My wife has been going here for at least four years and I joined her as a member about a year ago. At first everything was great and the massages were top notch. But about six months ago we started noticing issues with last minute cancellations and then management (Leslie) lying to us about calling or texting to reschedule. Out of the last four appointments we were only able to attend to one due to the massage therapist (Kaitlyn) canceling at the last minute.When we requested that our membership be canceled and that we be credited for the three months that we were unable to use due to the last minute cancellations and lack of response from management, we were told that our card was in suspense and that it could not be canceled without updating our information. What a scam. When I again requested that our membership be canceled, Leslie informed me that I dont make the policy, I just enforce it. This quality of customer service is exactly why we are never going back to Massage Envy Greenwood and we would dissuade anyone using their services ever.

Amazing place. All the staff are friendly. I have had massages with 3 different therapists. I just had one with Kendall. I would definitely not recommend anyone else. Her technique was perfect for me. Firm to deep at times yet soft and relaxing also. See Kendall!!

Trying to schedule an appointment is a nightmare! I had an appoint scheduled for Friday, April 22 (I waited 3 weeks for this appointment). I received a text Friday around noon informing me that my appointment would have cancelled due to an emergency ( I see a lot of this in the reviews) and that I needed to call and reschedule. I began calling Friday afternoon to reschedule…. No one ever picked up so left a message. Never got a call back so I called again Saturday…. Again…. No one picked up. Here we are on Sunday evening and still no one can answer the phone! Be a shame to cancel my membership before I got a chance to use it, but why pay for a membership if you can’t schedule an appointment anyway!

Made an appointment to get a massage before my wedding with Rachel. Got to the spa for the appointment and was told that they tried to message me the day prior to cancel because Rachel was sick. The only message I got was to confirm the appointment. This was my first massage and I drove from 45 minutes away and it was extremely disappointing. Hoping that I can still get in somewhere before my wedding but not sure if I will have time. Would recommend looking other places

My husband purchased an annual membership for me. Message itself is good. I like Kendal a lot!I have an appointment today at this location though. Last month I was here, the lady at the front desk booked this appointment for me after my message. Earlier this week, I called to see if I could reschedule - no one picked up the phone. Yesterday, got a text saying I have an appointment with Kendal tomorrow at 1 pm. I called 3 times - no one answered the phone. Left a voicemail, no one returned the phone call.So I went today because I didn’t want to pay for a cancellation fee and left my lady with no customer. When I got there, was greeted by the manager Keira who said that she couldn’t find my appointment anywhere. So I expressed to her my frustration because I did make several attempt to get in contact with the branch. I did get a text that I have my appointment. She basically just rebooked me for another time next month (hopefully this time it will actually be booked).I asked her if there’s anything she can do for all the trouble I’m going through as a customer (I ask, she didn’t offer). She said she will have to talk to her manager and see. Just all around management and customer service need some work! If I can cancel my membership right now, I would!

I have been coming to this location for a couple years now. The staff at this location has always been very welcoming. I am a shy person, and never once have I been uncomfortable. That is just their customer service. Never in this amount of time visiting have I had a bad experience technique in a deep massage, facial, chemical peel...I think I have had everything they offer....well I havent done the stretching, but I see customers getting that service and love it. At this moment, it is 6 AM been up since 4 AM and I cannot think of the technician I go to for chemical peels and facials, but she is absolutely amazing! The front desk Clerk she deserves recognition also!

I had my first appointment a few months ago and it was exceptional!! I called to make an appointment, and had to let it ring awhile, but a staff member did answer and was very friendly. I don’t frequently get massages so this was a “treat” for this very tired Momma. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately, a staff member helped me fill out the initial paperwork, and gave me a tour. I got to relax in a pretty, quiet, and relaxing waiting room. My 90 min massage was booked with Bob and I can’t say enough good things!! He listened to what I wanted, was professional, and I felt relaxed and comfortable. I had a great first appointment and will definitely go back!

This place has great massages but some of the staff are a bit over the top. Gave them proof of a certain situation that occured more than once and I pointed it out. They tried to make it my fault and deduct from my account for canceling the appointment. When I showed them I canceled based on their lack of their agreement to send me a reminder which is agreed in the contract. They look and see they forgot to sign me into that. When they did and tried to send notice it never showed up then.I finally got my way when I threatened to discontinue my deal and they backed down. It should not have come to that and they should have noticed this issue and said my bad we will fix it. Instead I got flack for their mistake...

Went in for my very first massage tonight. I happened to get lucky due to me calling today to see if there were any openings. There was with Neil! 2 things.1. It was absolutely AMAZING!!!2. I will definitely come back.I don’t know if I would sign up for the yearly contract. I’m not big on those kind of commitments but, my back, neck, and shoulders feel absolutely wonderful. I hold a lot of stress in those areas. Neil was professional the entire time, and we held a good conversation. I honestly could of fallen asleep it was so therapeutic. My husband and I have been members of massage envy for 2 years. We decided that the fees we were paying were too high to continue and we were having trouble getting appointments to work with our schedule. We called to cancel and were informed that we need to come in to sign the cancellation forms. At the beginning of January we went in to sign the forms. We were told that we had not made it in time to stop our January payment which was due almost 2 weeks from that day. Ok fine! Then a few days later I get a call from Kristen( location manager) asking why we wanted to cancel after so long and I told her no time she then stated that they have a freeze program that we could participate in to help with using our built up credits. I told her I would think about it and she emailed me the forms, we decided not to participate. Februarys payment came out and I called the office to ask why. They didnt have record of our cancellation forms.I emailed Kristen and she said she would look at the office for the forms and give me a call...no call. Every time I was promised a call no one called. I finally had to refuse to give my name to the receptionist to get through to Kristen. Long story short, they will not return Februarys payment and she wants me to sign the forms again. What good will that do?? You will just lose them again and the cycle continues. I was also told because they are independently owned that the corporate office will not help me.

Massage was great though. Just not happy with trying to charge me more for second visit. Also the are mask police. Make you wear an even tell you how you have to wear it.

Ive made two appointments trying to get in over the past month. Both appointments were canceled by Massage Envy. Yesterday, our appointment was canceled with 30 minutes notice. We were told Its no ones fault. If I cancel, I have to pay. If they cancel, its not a big deal. We requested to talk to a manager. 24 hours later, no one has called. My time is important to me. Apparently, it isnt important to Massage Envy. Our business and money will go elsewhere. Im not gambling with a two-week out appointment to have it canceled short-notice again. Its no ones fault! Poor customer service...

Massage was great. Everyone was friendly. Facility was clean. However as soon as you are done with your massage, someone is waiting for you with a sales pitch to sign up for their membership. I understand this is probably how these businesses make most of their money, however you need to know when to back off. For many, massages are a rare luxury and just not in the budget to get them all the time. You shouldnt question someone why its not in the budget and keep pushing when they obviously arent interested. Not a great way to end your experience with a great massage, then leaving with a sour taste in your mouth from a pushy sale that you arent interested in and just leave irritated. I was also under the impression I was getting a $55 introductory massage since it was my first time, but apparently since I didnt want the membership it was $95. I didnt read that in the fine print anywhere when I scheduled.

I was a member at this location for over a year, and after a plethora of turnover (management, therapists, front-end staff), I terminated my membership last late-summer after my favorite deep-tissue therapist left due to poor management. During my tenure as a customer here, I went through 4 different massage therapists (to give credit, they all were great) and I rarely saw the same faces at the front desk, frequently hearing verbiage along the lines of Im new here, one moment please. According to the therapists, there was a point in time where there had been three different managers in the span of a month. I cant personally attest to that, as it is hearsay, but I never saw a manager during my time here.Just recently, I received a call from their front desk claiming that my December and January payments didnt process. I was confused by this because I had terminated my membership the prior summer, and I had not been back since (I was unaware of the withdraws prior to the call because my account was tied to an old HSA account that I didnt actively monitor). After I informed them of that, I was told that they couldnt find the cancellation form in my file. As a fault to the new person behind the desk at the time, not only was it NOT filed, I also did NOT receive a copy. I argued my case, and when I told them I left after my massage therapist quit, the front desk associate proceeded to insinuate that I was lying because Michelle still works here, and goes by Mikey. The deep tissue massage therapist I was referencing does NOT work there (nor did she ever refer to herself as Mikey), and this was confirmed after I spoke to another associate. I asked to speak to management, and they were unavailable. I then asked for a call back from management, and I received no such call back. This has been a week. In the interim, I was supplied another cancellation form via email. After completing it (again), and detailing my case in the email, I had asked for a confirmation email that the cancellation form had been filed and that I had been refunded. Ive yet to receive any sort of confirmation.In summation, avoid this place; get a massage elsewhere. While they employ good therapists, the administration side is abysmal - no communication, they dont process cancellation forms, they continue to charge you for services that arent rendered, the front end staff is argumentative, and the place is mismanaged to the point where youll probably have several different therapists if you decide to enlist in a membership.

My husband and I signed a year long contract with Massage Envy. On December 14th we had our final massage. After our massage on December 14th 2019 we worked with the male and female at the front desk to cancel our contract. We were assured that day our contract was cancelled. On 2/2/2020 we found out our card was charged by Massage Envy on 12/30/19 and 1/30/20. I called Massage Envy on 2/2/2020 and made them aware of the situation. They told me the manager Kristen would have to call me back Monday 2/3 to discuss. I waited till Wednesday 2/5/20 and heard nothing. I called Massage Envy on 2/5/2020 and spoke with Kristen. She said she could not find any documentation that we cancelled. I asked her if they had camera in the lobby they could see/hear that we cancelled on 12/14/2019. She said they couldn’t look back that far and without finding the documentation she could not refund us money. I expressed I felt this was wrong and we should be refunded our money. She left it that she would have to find the paperwork to refund us. I then asked to speak with the owner and she informed me she was as high up as I could go as there were “7 private silent owners” I am hoping the company does the right thing and issues the refund we are due. She is treating me like she assumes I’m lying. If I was lying I would not have encouraged her to view the camera logs. Also it’s upsetting that after working with Massage Envy for a year and never having a late or denied payment they would treat us like this. Leaving with a bad feeling about the company.

I purchased a massage as an anniversary gift 3 weeks in advance. I was called one week before and told they needed to reschedule, annoyed I rescheduled. The day of our massage I got a call that said they had to cancel again. I called back three times and asked to speak to the manager. The manager never called back. No one apologized for my inconvenience and frustration just kept trying to book me at different times that never worked in my schedule. Needless to say I do not recommend this location. I called the location at Southport and had wonderful costumer service! They were able to go above and beyond to get my massages in and apologized for the bad experience I had at the Greenwood location.

I do feel a little more comfortable moving forward with them when Im ready.UPDATEI have decided to update my stars to 5. I was very skeptical and uncomfortable on my 1st visit since Ive never been or used a masseuse. I have to say the staff made me very comfortable and eased my mind to just relax and OMG was so impressed with how I was treated and just felt like a king. Im officially hooked. Daniel has been my masseuse and has done an amazing job of my problem areas. Great job to all staff at Massage Envy Greenwood!!

Nice place but never had a massage that didnt put me to sleep, I was cold the whole time with chills. The message oil was cold plus I guess the lady was tired because she sat In the chair to do my massage! She didnt do my left hand and leg! Just wasnt a good experience for me! I will NEVER EVER go back or recommend this place to anyone I rather go to the mall and get a chair massage! And please stop with sales pitch if you do a good job the membership will speak for itself!

After having my massage today (which was amazing I should add) I find myself having to give this place 2 stars... I come out after my massage talking to the receptionist who proceeds to tell me that I owe $45 on top of the $65 monthly charge I had just paid to find out I missed an appt I wasn’t aware I even had for a 90 minute massage. Obviously I was very annoyed as this is not the first issue I have had with this place the girl offers to let me pay $23 now and she will talk to her manager on THURSDAY! (Almost 2 days after this is happening!) Everytime I come I have an issue. It shouldn’t be this difficult. You have wonderful massage therapist at this greenwood location but your receptionist and management can’t seem to get on the same page and I always find myself suffering because of it. Beyond over it. I was originally planning to sign another contract but after this mishap I’m pretty much over it.. and the company itself may not care about this little review but others who think about getting a massage do and signing a contract do.(I also want to add paying $23 doesn’t sound like a big problem except I literally went through this the month before not knowing the cancellation policy so why would I miss an appt?) 😡😡😡😡 beyond irritated.

I have enjoyed all of my massages here, but they are TERRIBLE at answering the phone. It clearly states online and on their answering service that they are open, but no one answers the phone. Im trying to pay them. It would be smart for them to answer the phone. They are also not very good at booking couples appointments. I went with my significant other to only find out they had scheduled us for separate massages. They were able to fix it and we did enjoy ourselves, but administratively, this place can be a bit annoying. I miss Rachel. She was the best.

Daniel is an absolute treasure and a gem, he got rid of my head and neck pain Ive had for days. He made me feel completely comfortable and he was entirely professional and honestly just a gem! If youre a woman and unsure of letting a male therapist work on you I can assure you Daniel is your guy.Corey is am absolute treasure and a gem as well. Ive had a massage from him before and it was spectacular. Hes currently at the front desk and doing a great job, he really seems to enjoy his job and environment and helps create a positive experience.Overall please treat these two employees well because I never want them to leave and go somewhere else, it would be a huge loss to the establishment!

5 stars for Daniel who worked a miracle on my neck and shoulders. He paid attention to what my complaint was about and was very thorough and kind. My visit dropped two stars bc I truly don’t understand how the visit goes from being $55 to $95 without any explanation? No one could seem to answer this for me so the receptionist (I was grateful for this) dropped the price to $75 which was much better but still higher than originally quoted over the phone and on website.

A dear friend of mine highly recommended ME for years and I resisted. I regret that now. Mistu, you are a true Godsend. Earlier this week I delivered my sleeping daughter at 28 weeks. Losing her broke my heart. Spirit and body in more ways than I can put into words. In my weakness I finally agreed to come in for a massage. The warmth and touch over my aching and broken body has me feeling almost human again. Something I wasnt sure would happen. God bless you.

What I presume to be the owner was incredibly rude and made no effort to remedy the situation. Please, go to Zen down the street. Youll be treated with common decency, respect, and heck, you might even get a massage out of the deal.
