Stallions Club

This is the best Gay Bar in town! Sadly nobody comes here anymore like they used to. All the Gay Men in town left Stallions for the Brownstone. I’m hoping that when Stallions becomes Karma this summer, then everyone who left Stallions for the Brownstone would come back. So if you don’t like the crowdiness at the Brownstone, then Stallions will be your best alternative spacious Gay Nightclub for you.

Stallions one of the best lgbtq clubs in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Located close to the capital of the state. Stallions has been open for 36 awesome years. So if youre ever in the Harrisburg area come down and have a great time.

Im a straight ally and always enjoy coming here. The staff is awesome and the bartenders are always on point. It is of few places I get my favorite drink at. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves the club vibe

Do not get fooled. This is NOT a GAY bar. You are better off with the other two options in town.

For my first time there it was a lot of fun. The bartender who served us was a sweetheart. The performers were amazing. Drinks and shots were awesome. And the atmosphere was pretty great.

Latest update as of 12/2023: The place is pretty beat. Still charging a cover to go upstairs to hang out with 5 people on a Saturday night. There is a “minimum charge” for credit cards and they “don’t accept Capital One cards” 😂😂I know of no other bar in the state that’s so ridiculous! It’s 2023 everyone uses cards! I can see if the drinks were dive bar cheap, but $6 for a bottle of beer which is literally HIGHER THAN Philly prices, means they can afford to accept credit cards! The owner and manager, if there even is one, must be stuck in the 90’s. Just another gay bar that’s become irrelevant. Sad.AS OF 2022: It’s gotten better recently. The drinks are good, beer is fresh unlike the place at the next corner with the skunk beer. Bartenders are quick! Thursday night DJ is really good. Nice place to chill! It’s no Philly or NYC but it’s great for Hbg!

Stallions is a great dance club/complex. This is by no means a gay or lesbian club - there are a lot of straight people enjoying the music. While we didn’t feel 100% comfortable being ourselves - everyone here has good vibes. Literally minding their business and two stepping to the DJ. We returned many times - the trick is to show up from 12AM- 2AM for some decent but basic DJ fun.

Ive never heard of a bar that charges for water. This place is really dull and boring. They try to keep it exciting with their shows and occasional events but the overall vibe is very Central Pennsylvania if you know what I mean.

It really sucks being a transgender man going to a gay bar and not being able to use the bathroom when the downstairs is closed and upstairs is only urinals.Ive experienced very rude patrons at this bar that make Trans people feel unwelcome.The bar is cool but not worth the issues.

This bar is decent for the area. Although they charge a cover like this is Philly. Just recently went up to $7 cover charge on just a regular night. Its ridiculous for a club like this. Most of the workers there are very nice but there is one who has, without a doubt, caused people to never return here. The big bouncer who sits (literally all night) outside at the front entrance is the worst type of person to be the front face of a club. His attitude is terrible, he has no manners or any type of friendly communication whatsoever. If at all possible go through the back entrance. The guy there is so much nicer and actually greets you. All youll get from the a** hole up front is a grunt and his hand sticking out as a signal for either your ID or the cover. If the owners read this, fire him and you will have many more people wanting to return here.

The drinks are strong enough for the price, and I appreciate it. The bartenders and staff are all friendly and helpful. The crowd is friendly. The neighborhood is safe and nice.

Patrons threw drinks on my friend while they were dancing. The place has gone so far down hill over the years we wont go anymore. Drinks are pricey and the music blows. Hip hop only, no diversity. Rigged shows and contests. Overall if you want to pay $7.00 for a boring evening, people taking your pics with out asking, and drag queens screaming in your face to clap for them, or to tip other queens. Fork over half your weekend budget in this armpit of a night club.Its a shame, this used to be a fun place to dress up and go dancing, with fun parties and events. Now, not so much.

I was not pleased with the overall experience, the atmosphere was dull, the service was very slow and the drinks were overpriced. Also I herd they don’t stick up for their staff which is very disappointing

I have a great time and Laura was very professional and Respectful. She made me feel safe and welcome. One of the best bar tender in the P.A area

Love this place! The drinks are great, staff is very friendly, and overall I met nothing but nice people here.It is a wonderful atmosphere, and a fun dance floor to dance on. I definitely recommend it if you are tired of bad drinks, overcrowded, and bad service. Will definitely return.

They literally has the best music out of all downtown clubs. It’s always good energy. It’s free on Friday nights and the cover charge is only five dollars on Saturday

Stuck up people and if you dont meet up to the kings standards they will turn the entire club against you and push you out. I stood up for myself and got kicked out for life. So F the club they will not get my business again nor a good rating. As an lgbt community you would think they would be more accepting of anybody.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They don’t stick up for their staff, it’s dirty and disgusting on the inside and other than Steven all the bartenders are trash.

REALLYYYY don’t suggest coming here unless you’re okay with being touched or violated. Owner and workers there won’t help you and will kick you out if you start saying you were touched. DONT GO HERE!!

No one goes anymore at 1030 paid cover it was just us 2 dont waste time or money

Went for the first time…drag contest was going on and it was enjoyable. Dance floor opened up and I had an amazing time

I gave four stars my only complaint is the amount of time you have to wait for drinks..the times we have been there they def need a second bartender or one that pays attention to the whole bar not just stand in one spot

The owner and stuff ignored the inappropriate and disgusting actions by 2 men and kicked out the victims, please go somewhere safe

The staff and owner of this club should be shut down. They allow people to be touched in bathrooms and dont do anything about it

Don’t ever go to a bar that makes you pay for water. They refuse to serve anything but bottled water here, citing company policy. This is dangerous and irresponsible. Go elsewhere.

It was fun. It was super tiny. If youre from a bigger city, its not gonna be spectacular
