The Island Vapor Bar

When the island vapor bar opened it was honestly the greatest vape shop on Hilton head. Since then they have very poor management. They always have little to no inventory of popular brands. They claim that it sells out in one day. If that is so wouldnt you think to buy a larger quantity for the next shipment. This isnt just for their juice either. There have been numerous occasions where friends and I have gone into the store to find out that they do not have any of what we are looking for. This is not because they simply do not carry it, no this is because they are always out of the item. There is a popular vape shop on bluffton called Hilton Head Vape. They are constantly busy and always seem to have everything I need. Im disappointed and frustrated with how The Island Vapor Bar has turned out. I have been vamping for 5 years and I have never been this disappointed in the lack of inventory a shop has.

DEAR, Vaporists, Vapor enthusiasts, future E-cigarette pioneers, I am writing this review for you... I have lived on Hilton Head Island my entire life, born at Hilton Head Hospital 29 years ago. About 5 years ago i picked up my first e-cigarette and never turned back. When vaping started to boom in the past 2 to 3 years I started looking for shops around me that carried the hardware and juices that would or could satisfy my every need. This was nearly impossible. Sure there were vape shops in my area, but they all were at least a 25 30 min drive. Not to sound like a baby but that was too far. I wanted a place close by and not only had the right products but had a aesthetically pleasing environment, a mom & pop feel with the employees, and an honest business/owner. I found that place, about a year and a half ago. The Island Vapor Bar not only has the best products in the area and outside of a 25 or 30 min drive, the employees are extremely patient, knowledgeable, fair and understanding. Its not everyday a business makes you feel cared for, wanted, safe, and happy. I would recommend this place to an advanced vaporist/enthusiast and also to your starter kit vape friendly beginner, switching off of cigarettes to a healthier alternative to somebody just interested in starting vaping instead of cigarettes. I truly believe this place exudes happiness, a friendly but honest welcome, and will be there for you until the end. I went into this shop today to purchase a new box mod. Right when I walked in I noticed nothing had prices listed so I asked how much the Eleaf TC100 was. I was told Its $75 if you buy it today. One of my family members just purchased this device at another shop for around $45-50. I was looking at it online last night and Amazon had it for $32.99. I completely understand that a brick and mortar needs to charge a little more and felt that the $45-50 pricing was absolutely fair that my family member paid and was more than willing to pay the same but $75 is more than double the online price! So I asked if they had any box mods in the $30-40 range and mentioned that the TC100 was only $32.99 on Amazon and the guy behind the counter responded with why dont you call Amazon? This isnt Amazon. Then he slapped a crappy mech mod on the counter and said something else that I dont recall. I was completely appalled and left the store.I couldnt believe how badly I was treated for mentioning how much I had found the exact same device online for. I usually dont review things on here but I wanted to hopefully warn others that are thinking about going to this shop to, at the very least, keep quiet about the expensive pricing unless you want to be treated like garbage or just dont go there at all.

Stopped by Hilton Head on vacation, and needed some equipment. This store has an amazing atmosphere and friendly staff, their selection of juice and hardware are impressive. If youre in the area this is definitely a shop you should check out.

Steve was very helpful and informative. He helped my guy with his transition from smoking to vaping. His service is impeccable and personal, allowing us to easily shop with him everyday we were on the island. The atmosphere is relaxed. I would definitely recommend others to shop with Steve.

I came here when this shop first opened almost weekly, but then they started running of out product and telling me it will be in next week. Multiple times in a row. Recently I came it and the shelves looked bare, like they are closing. On another note they dont have the time to even manage their Google listing. On Google as of 1/22/2016 at 7:54pm their store hours are 9am to 9pm for Friday, but a locked door sign taped to the window reports they close at 7pm on a Friday. I will not be back again, and strongly recommend others to do the same.

Great place to visit while on the island. the staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable. and there E-liquid selection is untouchable. will definitely be back for more juice soon

Dont even bother. I purchased one coil for the price of 4. I know Hilton Head wont get the volume of traffic as cities, but the prices at this place are absurd.

Not my usual vape shop, they didnt have my juice but helped me find something I liked.

Great selection of juices & very helpful staff! Will definitely visit next time were on the island!

They have pretty much every e liquid and everything you need and Im glad it close to me
