The location is beautiful but we where informed that this location would be changing owners or concept. We came for the domincain sushi and they where out of most of it. The excuse was weak of why they werent making the main dishes we were looking for. The sushi was good , but I wouldnt go out of my way to come here if they dont have what makes this place special. To many good sushi spots in the area. The name is changing and its gonna be more lounge and small bites.

Not just a Sushi place. So much more than I expected.Atmosphere is nice, if not the tiniest bit noisy. Open til late hours, which is great for finding a late dinner. We were very promptly served by a friendly fellow by the name of Evian and a young trainee. The House Bento Box was a surprisingly good portion, the sushi roll was huge, and all food was delicious and very well presented.

We had a really good dinner there last night! All of the staff we interacted with were Great!!! The food was terrific! We got 4 appetizers which we loved! We also tried. A couple craft cocktails which were great! The decor was really cool! We will be back!!!😊

My husband and I wanted to try a new sushi place Saturday night. We were so excited to see such a unique menu. The way the Latin flavors are mixed w the Asian cuisine is chefs kiss. Def recommend to come w a big group to try all their amazing house rolls. Ask for Ashley ❤️

I was thrilled to discover that my favorite sushi 🍣 place from New York 🗽 had opened a branch here in Florida.🌴 Im genuinely delighted with the beautiful ambiance, enjoyable music, and overall vibe of the restaurant.🥰 The food was outstanding, 👍🏼👍🏼and the drinks were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by and giving it a try if you havent already. Its definitely worth it.👌🏼

We went to celebrate a friends bday and also for the Sunday brunch yesterday… It was an Amazing experience! Good price and we even stayed later for the afternoon live performance! A memorable outing!

Menu selections are plenty w something for everyone, drinks were delicious, service was informative and entertaining, however no Dominican or Japanese based desserts and the coffee selections were not very Miami ( no cafecitos, cafe con leche or cortaditos). There is also an amazing brunch menu and lively nightclub after 11pm.

This place is awesome, it is family friendly. The food is super good, the atmosphere is great for adults and kids. Evian was a great server he goes above and beyond. I really recommend this place. I came from NY so I already know The Mamasushi from WH and the one in Harlem and I can tell you this one is similar but better.

Mama Sushi 🍣 really did it with their Asian styled traditional dishes. My Tres Golpes house roll. Their presentation was beautiful with an elegant orchid on top. Brunch was everything with the ambiance, DJ, tastey fresh food, and great prices. I highly recommend you try this place!

We found the place today went home got ready & had to come to check it out. The service was wonderful, the food was just like home in Dyckman, the drinks A1!! (Ask about the henny one), the server Carlos was super funny, cool and informative w/ the menu, the place was immaculate, Ruben was awesome as well. Thank you guys for everything & for making us feel like we’re back home. Will be seeing ya one of these Sundays!!!!

I particularly enjoyed the variety of unique rolls that Mama Sushi offered, each with its own distinct flavor profile. The creativity in their sushi creations definitely set them apart from other sushi restaurants I’ve visited.The service was top-notch; our server/ Assistant Manager Evian was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to offer recommendations based on our preferences. The food arrived promptly, and we never felt rushed during our meal, allowing us to savor every moment.

Costumer service was ok. I ordered the all you can eat for me, my brother and mother and the food was horrible. The salmon did not taste like salmon at all, the salmon tasted like trout and it did not taste fresh at all. For 40 dollars it is not worth it!!! And took 40 minutes every time we ordered!!! 🚨🚨!!Do not recommend!!🚨🚨

My girlfriend and I came here since we wanted sushi and it was halfway between us. We googled it and the food looked good so we came. Not only was the food amazing, the drinks were fire and they were 2 for 1. Plus, the vibe was great and the manager, Ruben, even came to talk to us about some upcoming events. One day in Miami and I came to this place, it was 25-30min from where I’m staying yet absolutely worthy! It was a quite taco Tuesday watching the final world baseball classic, the food was amazing, the drinks amazing (shot out to the bartender, we had a great conversation), as soon as you get in, everybody greets you really nice; I believe one of the owners was there too and was really nice as well, the place is well set up, the decor is really cute, the bathrooms are clean, I can keep going… PLUS someone came for pick up and it wasn’t right and u could tell they made EVERYTHING possible to make that customer happy and great great customer service (I saw everything and the customer didn’t know what they want, so ut was not their fault)… but seriously, I don’t have ONE COMPLAINT about this place… we are so quick to give bad reviews but we should do the same with the good ones… I HAD A GREAT TIME HERE and would definitely recommend to other people and visit their locations in NYC whenever I’m there 👏👏👏 thanks to the crew that made my only night in Miami nice and smooth ☺️☺️☺️ always supporting my people (and mind you, I’m veeeeery picky) 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴

The security guys working there will tell you its okay to park then call to get your car towed. And we find out by the tow truck driver they have contract with them its the security side hustle

I ordered through Uber eats and as you can see in the photo, they only put avocado on half the roll. It was also very small and not tasty. Very unhappy.

The rolls were to die for! The drinks were incredible. The staff was so friendly and had incredible recommendations. Asian Latin fusion made the perfect meal!!!! Highly recommend the Calala roll.

This place is now name Oris and it’s trash. I had made a request with the server. I told the server that if it can’t be done it’s ok. I understand. The chef came out with an attitude with her hands in her back. I was there with my husband and he felt extremely offended. She was like that request can’t be done and all I can do was laugh because the server could have came out and told me unfortunately this request can’t be done. But nope she came out with a bad attitude. I will never ever go back to this place. Trash food, trash atmosphere and trash service.

Real cool spot. Special fried rice and wings were really good. Cool place, nice vibe and atmosphere, good music. Was there for a birthday party and it didnt disappoint. Great hosts.

Excellent attention to detail in every aspect, including the service and dinner. The flavors in the ceviche and lobster Thermidor were amazing and are highly recommended.

Went with my girls for brunch. Appetizers took a bit long, so chef sent us sushi & dessert on the house! Food & drinks were excellent! Only thing is the DJ didn’t show. Special thanks to Carlos for making it a great experience!

If you want good food , this isn’t the place to go. The sushi is mediocre and highly priced. The owners only care about the atheistic of the restaurant and not the actual food. They will sneak charges on to your bill and only show you a tablet with a small screen in which they give them selves a very generous tip. I advise you all to drive a little further out then Hollywood if you could to a better place.

8/11/2023 Avian is a master at presentation. Our meal was probably the best sushi we have ever had. The Dominican/Japanese fusion is amazing and the taste was great. I would definitely come and give a try, you will probably find us there when you do. Awesome food!!

Great atmosphere, food, music and drinks! Definitely recommend it. I tried the New York ones and they are all great! Our waiter Carlos was amazing and very knowledgeable. He also made us feel comfortable and explained what certain food and drinks had in them. Love this place!!

I am eating at the new place in Hollywood , FL. Real talk, the appetizers are EXCELLENT. Im not a big fan of sushi..... until now. The beautiful ambiance is on point with any upscale restaurant. Sound system is also straight. However, the food is the best part here and the service is top notch as well. Oh the waitresses are...... nice !!!

I’m only giving 4/5 because we had to wait way too long to order when it was only 1 person at the bar in the whole restaurant for lunch. Other than that, the food was good, we had a sushi plate called Rainbow it was okay, not wow. And then some noodles with chicken and veggies which was really good. The service was ok but the wait time when the restaurant is empty is way too long.

Mama Sushi has a Asian and Latin themed cuisine, that is really good. Ashley, our server was great. She was always attentive. Walter was too, was also making sure everyone had a good time. This place is great. It has great food, atmosphere and staff.

Newly opened restaurant (one month). The decor is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely excellent. We tried four different appetizers and had two different cocktails and they were all very, very good. Well worth a visit. We intend to go back and recommend it to friends.

Amazing spot, restaurant is fairly new and the decor was on point. The vibe was kool, great music with live DJ and food was delicious. Walter, the host was great and kept us entertained. Brunch menu was reasonably priced and had a good variety. The brunch drink were delicious and they were not cheap with the alcohol. I will definitely be back!

Went for the first time on Valentines day. The ambience was on point, very sexy and classy. The service was superb. Everyone was very attentive ans made sure we were completely satisfied. The food was very delicious and satisfying. The music was low key, perfect for the occasion.

The food was great and the drinks too, price wasnt too bad either. Service was a little slow but the place was a little busy at the time when i went. There a little bit of a communication issue but only because our waitress spoke spanish and my spanish is a little rocky but we were able to get everything we needed. The dj played great music and kept the vibe up, which made the experience great as well. I will definitely go back when i get a chance

Do not and I repeat do not go to this place because security guys will tell you it’s okay park across the street when their lot is full and call the tow company that they have contract with which I found out by the tow truck driver the security call them

Went to a brunch hosted by Walter and I will say this place has a wonderful dj with great music and A plus service from the staff all around. The manager and wait staff would come and check in with everyone. The brunch is reasonably priced and the drinks are delicious. This new restaurant is really what the area needed.

Location clean, looks new and service good. Food A little over priced for what you get, flavor I’m guessing Asian or Japanese. 🚨 hidden fees🚨CC fee if you use any card to pay! ($5.00)Service Fee (18%) included in bill. (Don’t understand this ridicules fee which only takes away from customer giving a server tip)My check was $99 and after all fees including tax $130 total. First and last time to this place.

I bought tickets to see Joe Vera’s las Saturday. I was told to purchase tickets and make a reservation for a table and get there by 10pm. I did both. I arrived and was brought a menu to order food. I told the waiter my boyfriend and I wanted something very light to eat and we just wanted to order drinks bc we were there for the concert. He said he would take care of it and said the chef was going to prepare something light and small. He started bringing us small plates and by the third one we said to please stop and we had enough food already. They just said there are 3 more and even though we said no they kept in bringing food. There were 5 plates plus desert which we did not eat. Or the last 2 dishes. The waiter who was very nice at first started to change. We asked for the bill and it was $300. We were kind of upset but we paid and asked to just wait for joe Veras. At this point they told us we needed to sit by the bar standing or pay $500 to $800 for a table plus drinks. We were very upset and spoke to the owner who finally allowed us to stay were we were sitting and gave us a wine bottle. The waiters and waitresses came every 5 minutes to yell and say we were not supposed to be sitting without paying the expensive reservation even thought we had tickets. They started to force us to buy battles. They had DJ music playing mostly regeton from 10pm to almost 3am when finally joe Veras came out to sing. They were expecting us to spend all this money when most of the restaurant was empty and a lot of the guest where employees and friends of employees who freely went to the vip section without all those requirements that we were imposed. The waitresses were mean and rude and we felt like that place is just money hungry and do not care about the customer. We didn’t finish the concert bc we were so tired by 4:30am. It was a Friday and we had work that day. It turned into a $500 night for 2 people with tiny little plates of food and lots of waiting and harassment from employees. The food and the place were good but not worth the employees lying about prices and being so rude. I will never go back. Please try Areito in Hollywood Blvd. you hear live music, great food, great prices and they are always full. Not trying to get rich in one night from a few customers. Great environment and no pressure from staff.

The sushi is not that great here. Highly overpriced and low quality ingredients. BUYER BEWARE- the check will come with even higher food cost than you anticipated. They add a few dollars here, few cents there to the items on your check. Furthermore, they will add an 18% gratuity to those inflated prices and present you with a tablet rather than a paper receipt. This could make it hard for someone to notice that all this has happened and end up paying more for mediocre food and service. SHAME ON YOU SUSHI MAMA. I WON’T BE BACK AND I WON’T MISS YOU EITHER.

Terrible place. I dreamed of visiting this restaurant watching all their photos and videos. But... The restaurant was empty and the music inside was SOOO loud... my ears couldnt suffer it, and it was impossible to have some conversation, and my daughter and I preferred seats outside . Did you see the view outside? There is a parking lot full of cars , rain and puddles everywhere. Not oceanview:) So, our choice was to lose the hearing inside or to be wet outside. We decided to leave and never come back. Bye-bye, my unrealized dream. I wont come back even I ll have earplugs on my pocket.

Lucy and Fitz are very attentive and always welcoming. We ate a few things and drank a few different drinks and they were pretty good. We will be going back.

So good! The vibe, the service, the food, the drinks. Definitely going to be a regular here. The staff is super attentive from hostess to servers to bartenders. So far my favorite things on the menu are the chicken mofonguitos, the chillean sea bass, and the ribeye. Will definitely be trying more things in the future.

Didnt even get to eat my food they said 10 to 15minutes for the food to be ready we wait 40 minutes still no food and empty restaurant. We have a meeting so unfortunately we could not stay and wait anymore so horrible experience. If i could put no stars I would.

Good place to celebrate bday or special occasion for big groups, it is a party place so music is loud and there is hookah inside. Food and drinks were delicious!

Staff was nice but we were waiting about one hour for our food (4 dishes and restaurant was totally empty) Food wasn’t bad but wasn’t also good . in this price should be much better and much more. We were charged for extra service fee so prices went up even more. We went there because positive recommendations and good looking website but I believe they have just good marketing.

The place looks nice, but the food took 1hr+ to arrive. Way too many roll options and just one of them was riceless. Taste was okay.

I discovered this place by chance and it was the best chance of my life! The place is quite spacious with spectacular decoration, but the best of all was the service and of course the food. OMG! I give them a 10/10. For starters I ordered the Coconut Dusted Shrimp, something divine! I also ordered “the roll chapiadora” and you cant imagine how good it was. They have some unusual rolls, fusing Latin with Japanese, incredible! I accompanied my dinner with a refreshing margarita which was only $5 at happy hour so youre reading it. I will definitely return to taste other dishes that caught my attention and I will also recommend it wherever I go. Thank you very much to the staff who treated me in such a special way. Without a doubt the best place to eat sushi and more variety. The food is quite delicious and the service is the best. All the waitresses are good and friendly, but Sofía is 100, she tells you whats new and recommends food if you have questions.

Beautiful theme and internal colors...giant screens...variety of Latin sushi menu...music with DJs...hookah...Sophia very attentive and friendly as is the hostess at the entrance...good suggestions...you can share for a while or party at disco hours until dawn 🌅 👌👏👏👏

The food is exquisite, they have a great variety and they also have brunch on Saturday. Nice place .I have been twice, during the day the food takes a long time to arrive at the table and at night after you eat, the waiter comes every two minutes to ask if you want something else, as if pressuring you to order something else or leave, and its unpleasant.

We will definitely go back! In this place you find diverse environments, delicious food, a Latin atmosphere, and above all you can go with your children. Well this is crazy, I just arrived at Don Miguenlos party and I paid 600 US for a table and this is standing, and they dont know that women wear heels to stand all night 🤦🏽‍♀️ Godsss its crazy
