Mokara Spa

So listen, not to offend anyone but I was highly skeptical of a male therapist for a massage. As a married male it just seemed weird. But that was the only appointment available, and the the only place that had availability on Saturday 2/4. Wow! Was I impressed. Clean facility, spacious locker room, extremely nice staff, and the massage was relaxing. My therapist while a male, was of the upmost professionalism. I never felt uncomfortable, or in a manner that would make me think like I wanted to get up and leave. Highly recommend.

Today was my first time experiencing a massage and Miss Natalie was my masseuse. She took very good care of me. She was very professional and I highly recommend.

Faith was absolutely lovely. Keanna was fabulous! Spa is clean and super relaxing. Loved it! I have been to many spas and this one I would go back too. Has a personal hot tub and Sauna. Locker room is okay but your not in there long. Relaxation room is comfy for sure! The swimming pool is a little bit far to walk in your robe so just know its not super close but not super far either.

My boyfriend surprised me with a visit to the spa for my 40th birthday. I received a hot rock massage, an exfoliating food rub, and a facial.My massage was AMAAAAAAZING!!!! I believe the masseuse’s name was Nick. He was THE BEST!!! And he even gave me suggestions on how to loosen up the tense muscles in my lower back. I would recommend him a thousand times!As for my facial, I can’t say that I enjoyed it as much. I hate to give a bad review but it just wasn’t a relaxing experience to me. While Lolo was super sweet, I thought the extraction was intense and uncomfortable. I also didn’t like the way that she pointed everything out. Like “Okay, let me see what we have here. Black heads here, over here, and here. You need to hydrate hydrate hydrate.” And because the extractions were so intense, it left my face bumpy and swollen and it didn’t go down for dinner that night. And here we are 5 days later and I have brush-like burns on my face that weren’t there before. I don’t claim to have flawless skin. I actually went in there with a lot of blemishes. But I’ve had facials before and I’ve never been swollen and red afterwards :( But like I said, she was very sweet. Maybe my skin was just that bad. 🤷🏾‍♀️

This spa needs ALOT more recognition. This is my second visit and it was even better than before. They treated my husband and I like royalty while they served us delicious cocktails. We enjoyed our hydro tub with our 80 minute massage. The massage as a whole was high quality and worth the price! I would pay it three times more if needed.Then after we got done with the massage... they surprised me with cake! I didnt expect it they would do something for my birthday so I almost cried.Mokara, keep it up. My only complaint is Ill keep bugging my husband to come back here. 😂😂

I had the best massage with Natalie this past week. Such a warm and inviting spirit She was so professional. She knew exactly what she was doing. Her experience says it all. The staff was nice and attentive. I will definitely be back.

Love the spa and my massage experience with the Nick and or Evenly is always great. My only dislike is, if you get a late massage and youre done after 6, literally these folks are rushing you out to get dressed and leave the presences so they can clean. So a word of information to all, dont book any anything past 5. Trust me, you will not be able to sit in the sauna, take a shower, or sit in the cozy tranquil while enjoying your champagne.

Enjoyed the staff and the services! Honey, I had about 4 mimosas and 1 glass of champagne! Lol!!! I visited with a group of ladies. We had facials and massages. I drifted off during my massage. It was very relaxing. Afterwards, we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Very clean and beautiful spa! Its small, but still enjoyable! Reasonably priced with amenities!

The environment was very relaxing and my massage was so well done. He was receptive to requests for adjustments in pressure. Would definitely go back.

I had such a wonderful experience here! Celeste was amazing and the facial was the best I’ve had—the products are great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the spa is beautifully done. I loved that I could go out and sit at the pool too! I’ll be back!

Had a wonderful experience at Mokara spa. The amenities in the locker room include a jacuzzi and sauna. Then, we spent some time in the relaxation lounge, which was beautiful. The services were amazing and very relaxing. I did the signature massage and signature facial - highly recommend this place when youre looking to relax and indulge.

Mother/daughter (ages 47/18), we had a beautiful amd relaxing morning at the spa. The ladies locker room amenities are worth booking this spa for a wonderful 1/2 day experience. We had a joint hot stone massage, relaxed in the lounge, hit the sauna and cleaned up in the beautiful showers as we headed back to Galleria for our final afternoon of shopping. Clean, beautiful, peaceful, and amazing masseuses.

I cant even accurately describe just how good this place is our how well our experience went.My boyfriend had never been to a spa before and we just drove straight from Washington State (without stopping) to Houston. I wanted to res treat him to an experience that would set our vacation right. This place was EXTREMELY accommodating attitude-wise. It was the 3rd place i called, but the first place in the area that I found had a couples tub. The massages were hands down the best Id ever had and the women were just so warm and sweet.Thank you thank you thank you for starting our first time in Texas so beautifully.

Have been here twice for a massage with my spouse. It is one of the best spas in Houston, in my opinion. A+++ experience, including the access to the pool all day, nice shower and hot tub facilities, and a great waiting room with free champagne and snacks. Was there to celebrate an anniversary and the staff gave us a card and a gift. Have been so very satisfied each time I have been. Oh yeah, the spa services I have received have been amazing as well.

I hadnt been here in a very long time but I plan on returning sooner than later. Got a facial.The amenities are nice and relaxing too.

Friendly staff, just a little overcrowded. Bring ur swimsuit & come early or stay after your service to enjoy the sauna.Get your parking validated by spa staff!

Great service! Went for Mother’s Day and Dan literally gave me the best massage of my life. Everyone went above and beyond for my mom and I. Would definitely recommend.

Dont really like the fact they tack in automatic 20% tip whether masseuse sucks or not. Doesnt give them any incentive to care. Mine wasnt great. Go on Thursdays, 20% discount

Best massage! Doug is very skilled, highly professional, and very attentive to my specifications. . As an athlete, a great massage can really help to improve muscle recovery and Doug does an exceptional job with deep tissue service. Highly recommended!

Gifted my mother a day at the spa for her birthday. She is in love😍😍😍 the manicure, pedicure and facial were amazing.

Prices are outlandish. My daughter had a gel polish change and was charged $25 to remove polish and $75 to put on new gel polish. Absurd. Will never visit again.
