Rumor Has It Massage, Nail, Day & Med Spa

I visited this salon yesterday and had a pretty poor experience. Booking an appointment last minute was easy to do— I later found out why.There were 3 staff members and only 2 of them claimed to be able to do nails. I arrived early to my appointment and had to wait a few minutes with the 2 staff members who have their feet kicked up on the chairs up in the front lobby. One of these two girls had her stomach out, her kid running around the back of the salon, and his iPad playing loudly throughout my entire appointment. These 2 were laughing loudly, playing and sending voice notes to people, watching obnoxious reels to no end.Olga did my nails, she was rough on some of my cuticles but was generally okay throughout the rest of my appointment. She scraped the old gel off with a cuticle pusher instead of dremmeling, which was uncomfortable, but the job was still done. In my attached photo, you can see how she made my thumb bleed some without apologies.I really wanted to enjoy this salon since it doubles as a spa but I didn’t ever feel comfortable in this space. Had I felt more relaxed, I might’ve booked again, but the lack of professionalism spoke for them.

This is the best manicure I have gotten in a while! They are perfect, my technician took her time and made sure each nail looked just right! I’ll be coming back :)

Did couples massage with my Mama for a birthday present. They opened early to accommodate us on a date they had already been booked for a spa party. Ronald is SO amazing. This is the best massage I have ever had. He is very thorough and was sure to ask as we went along, if the pressure was good or how it was feeling. Super calming. Super service. I can’t wait to recommend him to my friends and family. He was WONDERFUL!!

My experience was absolutely amazing! Ron did phenomenal on my massage and Lexi really took her time with my nails. Customer service was 10/10 and I would definitely recommend going here.

Yesterday was my first time getting services done at this salon and I left very happy. The facility was nice, and the staff was super friendly. I loved the overall experience. Sheila did my pedi and took her time and we chatted the whole time. She was very personable and made me feel so relaxed. Lexi did my full set and it was my first time getting a stiletto nail and they came out awesome. They were very attentive and made me feel welcomed. The receptionist sat me down right away and always came to make sure I was doing ok and refilled my drinks without me asking. I really loved it and I highly recommend Rumor Has It.

Very nice people, she did my nails even when they were about to close. First time getting dip powder and I love it!

Yesterday 06/17/24i went to this place because I have my pet at petsmart next door from them while I was waiting on my pet been ready I decided to go and do my full set of nail OMG worst mistake the lady took forever to do my nails, I asked why she put a thik layer of acrylic and she never responded so at the time that my pet was ready and I have to leave at that time I already spent in rumors almost 2 hrs and she told me the acrylic it wasnt dry but I told her I spent already too much time and we are Not even half way was my first time there and the last I dont recommend this place I got out w wet acrylic and not even nails and they want me to pay the full price. Idk why I cant post pic of my horrible new set of nails but not recommended this place

I had a mediocre experience here. I wanted to give this spa the benefit of the doubt since everyone seemed nice, but after a mani/pedi I left overall disappointed. My technician trimmed my cuticles incredibly hastily , leaving open wounds on eight of my fingers that got irritated or infected. I would recommend asking them to not touch your cuticles. The pedicure was relaxing and my feet felt super moisturized afterwards, but the whole thing too much much longer than I’ve experienced at any other nail salon or spa and the chairs became more uncomfortable towards the end of the service. Additionally, the nail technician made fun of me for taking too long to pick the color I wanted, then after I showed her the color, she painted my nails a completely different color. (This also happened to the friend I went with) Boxed wine was a highlight of the experience, but for the price you can definitely get better mani/pedis in town.

Anywhere but here. The beer joint of salons. Was charged $39.00 for a good faith exam that never happened. Was not refunded. Am disputing charges with credit card company. Mold on air vents and ceilings. The monitor on waiting room wall, was like a live spy camera. Not a safe space.

The spa day packages are extremely affordable, I got a day of relaxation that consisted of body massage, manicure and pedicure! I loved the fact that I was able to get pampered from head to toe under one roof. I also was able to get my eyebrows threaded, which can be a service difficult to find. I will definitely be coming back again.

I went in at 4:45 and I was excited they were able to work me in before they closed at 6pm. The first job finished up around 6:20 (lighter pink color). The nails weren’t filled in all the way, and there was bare nail showing on the sides. There was a lot of cotton lent in the polish.The morning after I went in to get them fixed. I walked in at 10:30 and left at 12:20 with the darker brown set. There isn’t even polish coating the entire nail and you can see through to the nail bed.They refused a refund and instead asked me to come back a 3rd time after already spending over three hours there’s on two separate dates to try to have them fixed again.Very disappointed in the service provided and would absolutely not recommend going here unless you have absolutely no other options. Try doing your nails at home for better results.

One of my favorite ways to pamper myself is to get a pedicure at Rumor Has It Day Spa. Pedicurist Olga does a super job. I feel so much better after going there. The staff are friendly and the ambience is quiet and peaceful.

I have been here twice but this last time was a mess!! The person in charge of giving me a pedicure was not clean at all. She had her personal phone mixed with all the tools needed for the pedicure. Then the foil that way on the tray looked dirty and then she cut me and gave me a burn on the side of my foot.

I wanted to share a picture of my nails not sure how to do that. After a week I just had one of the nails pop off. This is a really disappointing thing. As I said before I will not be returning to this establishment. They looked nice when I left but after I got home they did not look good at all.

Before stumbling upon “Rumor Has I called around the Galleria area. They were either fully committed or just simply rude. Once I got in contact with the Galleria location, they booked me with the Rumor Has It Heights location, and I was set to relax the rest of my Friday evening. I enjoyed every moment while being serviced for my deep tissue massage, mani and pedi. The ladies were so sweet, and conversation was amazing. I felt at home. They took their time and made sure I was comfortable the entire session. I will be returning because the experience was amazing and the price was affordable!

They worked me and a friend in on a Saturday. The decor and ambiance are nice without being austere. They have a variety of good complimentary beverages, including bottled water and wine, so ask if you arent offered. Prices are reasonable, staff is very friendly and experienced, and the owner obviously cares about the customer experience.👍👍

I love my beautiful French manicure and pedicure! The team was lovely and suggested a gorgeous golden base for the French tips. Best manicure ever!

Im super upset that I just spent $240 for the service I just received.I scheduled an appointment today for a reflexology massage and I also wanted a mani pedi. I walked in and they had no idea what was going on even though I had set the appointment the previous day. My nails still have paint under them and on my skin. And I was thinking okay it can get better from here Im going into my massage. The lady asked me what were working on today and I said my feet I have plantar fasciitis and my toes have been numb for a few weeks and I really want to get them worked on. She did not touch my feet once. After my massage was done I asked the front desk to see the form I filled out to make sure I checked off the right boxes and I did. All I wanted was an hour long reflexology massage to deal with my plantar fasciitis and I did not receive it. My nails are supposed to be a coffin shape but they are all uneven and do not sit on my fingers correctly.

Every time i am getting new experience. I must say its an amazing place for massages and facials. Staff is really good. They are very professional, they know your requirements.I love this place.

First time in a long time getting a facial and this is the place to be, it has a very calm and welcoming atmosphere. They offer a variety of services ( one stop shop ) I will definitely return and I’m lookin forward to getting the body wrap etc. on a scale of 1 to 10 I give Rumor has a 10

Don’t waste your money or time. Horrible looks like a little kid painted my toes. I didn’t even know you can mess up pedicures. Paid $52 didn’t even get my feet scrubbed, soaked in water after pedicure for no reason. 1st and last time. She said she’s been doing it for 28 years, I don’t know how.

I apologize that I don’t remember the names of the girls that serviced us.My Granddaughter who is age 5 and I both had pedicures and my granddaughter also had a manicure. She had her Barbie Doll that had a watermelon dress with her. The woman working on her was so kind and nice to my granddaughter. She made her big toes and thumbs watermelons! They were so cute And she took the time to make sure they were completely dried before we left.The girl that worked on me did an awesome job also. Her massage on the feet and legs were great.Rumor Has It is a friendly place and does top quality work.We were very pleased.We will return.Mary Jean Dyer

Got a massage from Lexy she had the hands and skill set of an Angel highly recommended I think I fell a sleep at some point.

First time here. Made an appointment for the The Rumor Has It Pedicure. They were punctual. I felt welcome the moment I walked in. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Attentive with a good pace. Will definitly come back. Really want to try a massage. Come enjoy for yourself.

Good experience. It’s more expensive than the average pedicure. A little over priced for what you get in my opinion, but my toes did look nice!

I came to this establishment because my go to nail shop was packed. The receptionist and nail tech were very friendly. The nail tech made me feel comfortable. The receptionist offered me a beverage. Though my initial contact with the staff was good, I wasnt satisfied with the quality of my pedicure service. I asked the nail tech what pedicure package includes hot stones, parrafin wax and a very good massage. For these are treatments I normally get when I receive a pedicure service. The nail tech suggested the $70 package. Therefore. I chose the $70 package (60 mins) that included a mask, paraffin wax, massage, hot stones and polish. The nail tech seemed inexperienced. I felt the nail tech rushed my pedicure service. She was moving very fast for no reason. There were no customers waiting to be serviced. The towels and rocks that were supposed to be hot were slightly warm. The nail tech did an okay job polishing my toe nails. However, my mask, massage and hot stone treatment was over very quickly. My pedicure service was supposed to be 60 minutes long. However, it was 30 minutes long. If I knew the service would be this subpar, I would have chosen the $30-$40 package and saved money.Update: The polish on my toes started chipping after a week. I can normally go a month without the polish chipping.

The service is always great, love my nails every time that I visit them.

I would totally recommend this place. They took our same day last minute appointment. Staff was very polite and made sure we were comfortable. Our masseuse were Ronald and Lesuy who were amazing! Any areas of discomfort that we circled on the paper they made sure to show that area special attention. When we checked in we did not wait and when we were finished checkout was quick and easy.

Tried this place for the first time today and left very happy! I called very last minute for an appointment but the staff was extremely accommodating. The salon itself was very clean and had a peaceful ambience. My manicurist was very thorough. For the price and quality, this place is unbeatable. I wish I’d discovered it sooner!

ILY has done my nails the last couple times and I could not be happier. She really takes a lot of pride in her work. I do the shellac pedicure and my feet and toes have never looked and felt so good! The staff are always super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this business and I would definitely ask for ILY for all of your mani/ pedi needs. You will not be disappointed!

My shellac manicure only lasted 2 days before major chunks chipped off. Incredibly disappointing. Ive never had a shellac manicure do this. I suspect it was poor quality shellac polish and they had to do more coats than usual to make it look even colored. They were friendly but I dont recommend wasting your time and money on a manicure here.

The experience was great. Very relaxing and everything was explained as it was happening. The micro-needling has made tremendous positive results on my face and my skin has never looked better. Very happy with results.

I left this spa feeling so relaxed! I scheduled the Spa Getaway package (60 min massage, 60 min facial) and it was perfect. The price was reasonable and made for a nice treat to myself.I had Ronald and Kim for these services. Ronald’s massage technique is very unique and I wish I lived in the area to schedule with him again! He utilizes massage, stretching, and pressure points to leave your muscles feeling very relieved of tension. Kim was great as well and left my skin feeling so clean and soft. I was a little late because I got lost on the way to the spa and the time scheduled was still honored, which I greatly appreciated.It was a great experience and I highly recommend it!

There’s a small color selection on shellac, the polish are hard and seem like they need to be replaced. My nails chipped one day after I got them done, I got a fresh set to leave with beautiful nails and instead I got crooked and bad painted nails. I would not come back.

This is my go-to spa for a good massage. I’ve been a client of theirs for about a year and a half. They have great massage therapists each time I go. Most recently I had Lesvy and she was incredible! I really appreciate how easy it is to book through text/iMessage and they always remember my name :-)

I had a much needed manicure and pedicure today at Rumor Has It. First of all, the salon is beautiful and immaculately clean. The receptionist is very sweet and friendly and you feel very welcome the moment you walk in. Ive been going to the the salon for awhile now, and consistently recieve excellent service. The staff is very competent and professional, and the experience is always a treat...... relaxing and comfortable. My nails are beautiful and my feet are happy! Highly recommend.

I needed a quick manicure and my typical place is always packed on Sunday’s so I stopped here. There is another nail salon in this shopping complex has well by Target that is much nice but I couldn’t find parking there so I went here. The facility is very run down to be in such an affluent area and in desperate need of a remodel. I got the express manicure which is $22 and added shellac. The manicure itself wasn’t horrible but definitely left a lot to be desired. They didn’t even use alcohol to sanitize your nails and cuticles. No massage and it just wasn’t super professional for the area and prices. My bill at the end was $40!!! I couldn’t believe it. Then to add insult to injury they want to charge 3% fee for using a card. Definitely won’t come again. The people were sweet but it is way overpriced to not be nice

Mani/ pedis are reasonable & well done. Lesby, a masseuse is an absolute magician.

Went here for a facial and I highly recommend. It was my first time here and everyone was friendly. Olga did my facial, I plan to go back to her on my next appointment.

My daughter and I stopped in after shopping for back-to-school clothes, and we both got a mani/pedi. They did a fantastic job, and the salon is clean with very friendly staff. We will return!

To take off my old shellac and put on new shellac polish $65. Smh. I have never heard of such! The shellac started chipping the same week I got them done! Ily did my mani, she is very friendly but her conversation is very inappropriate. I will not visit again.

Would give less if possible. Showed up for appointment at 9:30 x 10 o’clock there was Still no one there to do our facials when I asked for a refund she offered a free massage and strawberries for the next time if I wanted to rebook. She said she couldn’t refund. Now I tried to rebook and she is reneging on the deal. Very unprofessional atmosphere where she talks to people across the intercom while people are having their spa services done. I should have known by how brutal that first attempt was that she would not honor what she actually put in writing via text. The spa look is also ru down.

I booked a couples massage myself and my Valentine. He also got a mani/pedi.The massages were exceptional the ambiance was excellent the ladies took their time and really made the experience great.Now his pedicure was excellent.The manicure needed a little work. Some of his nails were uneven and jagged.Other than that they were good. I would go again for massages it’s probably a strong no for nails though.I paid a total of $237. Which is a tad pricey.

I used Classpass to book a massage here last minute because I had a really sore shoulder. Ronald provided an amazing massage and he focused on that area as requested, using the right amount of pressure. He was friendly, polite, and made me feel comfortable. The front desk staff was also friendly. The space was clean and private, but felt safe.

I had my nails done a week ago before going on vacation. The Shellac polish peeled off by the third day. Hands and feet! I paid about $185 after tip for pedicure and manicure.

Came to Houston for my Boyfriend birthday and wanted to take him to get a massage and they were on point! Service was great and our couples massage was outstanding and well needed! Will definitely be visiting again!! Highly recommend!!!

It was cute and small. The staff was very welcoming and kind. You can have wine if you want. I had a facial and it was pleasant because they pick the products based on your skin type.

Visiting from Oklahoma City and wanted to have a spa day to pamper myself. Found the salon by searching nearby my hotel and saw they had good ratings. Awesome Experience!! I did a package and added hot stones to my massage and gel polish to my pedicure and manicure. I went on a Tuesday morning, so they werent very busy and the level of attention to detail was phenomenal. Everyone there was very nice and all of the technicians were amazing at what they did. I will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

I went get to get my nails done for my birthday and had to stop the service in the middle. The nail tech could not do any of the designs I selected and then when she painted them she had to continually redo do it because she polished my finger. When cutting the cuticle, she sliced into my fingers so many times I had to yell at her. I paid so I could leave but I wish I never signed the receipt. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

It’s just down the road from me so I go there A LOT to get a pedicure and my brows waxed !! Service is always impeccable and the place is always clean. I literally have to come back to get my shellac polish off weeks later! They still always look perfect! 😁

I sent my wife here for her birthday. She said the masseuse (Ms. Victoria) and the facial (Ily) technician were AMAZING!!! The receptionist was warm and inviting, but the manicurist and pedicure persons were not as welcoming.

I was passing through from San Antonio stopped by while visiting a friend in Houston to pamper myself with a shellac mani/pedi. The two girls assisting me were fantastic. The product used in my nails not so fantastic. My nail polish started chipping off the same night after washing my hands with warm water WTH!! Today Monday all my nails are sadly have peeling nail polish. . I’m very disappointed cause I get my nails done with the same person in SA and never has this occurred.

Stopped in to have acrylic nails removed bc location was convenient, was also attracted by the name. I left with The best manicure Ive had in years ... by Sheila. Got my brows threaded. Will definitely be going back.

I live out of state and travel to Houston once a month for work. There is no other place I like to get my nails done anymore because they do such a wonderful job here. It did take me a few visits to find the people I really like to do my services, but ever since then, I have only left elated and looking forward to my next visit. They are also very flexible when it comes to add ons same day. My last visit, I decided I wanted to try adding a lash lift and tint. They were able to accommodate me within a few hours and added the brow tint while I was there. The lift was a little tight at first, but settled after a couple weeks.All the staff is very friendly and the place is always very clean. Being able to book online is a plus and if you have questions before booking they are very responsive to chat. I have only used this through yelp.You may say, well they give a discount to those that leave reviews, which is true, but my review would be no different if I got a discount or not. Wish they had a location close to home!

The staff was nice however, the amount of time it took for my full set dip powder to be completed and the quality of my nails were horrible. After asking for the shape to be corrected and overall neatness of my nails, I realized other than starting from scratch after hours had already passed I just paid and left. Will not be returning.

The positive - friendly staff & clean, attractive salon. The negative- the quality of the manicure. I had a full set applied which I immediately removed when I got home. First, the tips were not correctly sized for my fingers. Second, they were filed but not buffed or smoothed which meant that you could see the striations through the polish. The polish job itself was uneven. Without hyperbole, it looked like someone had poorly polished ill- fitting press-on nails. I paid, tipped and left rather than fuss as it was so amateurish we would have had to start from scratch and it had already been 2 hours.

March 2020: My husband and I did a couple’s Swedish massage yesterday, and it was the best money we’ve spent on self care. I had Ron, and it was hands down the BEST massage I’ve ever had!! He really listened to my needs, and was very anxiety friendly. I didn’t feel self-conscious at all about being a plus-sized woman which is incredible. My husband was massage by a petite Latina woman who he is raving about as well. Both massage therapists came and introduced themselves to us before taking us back which was calming. The booking process was easy, the check in lady at the desk was very friendly, and the space is beautiful. The massage room had a good vibe and was intimate without feeling claustrophobic. This place is going to be part of our regular health routine now. We cannot say enough good things about these guys!UPDATE 3/5/2023: We still will only come here for massages, and Ron is the only massage therapist Ive ever met that truly helps my fibromyalgia pain. Highly recommended!!

This was my first time at this salon and I had an excellent experience. Heather did a wonderful job with my shellac manicure and pedicure! Great conversation, such a bubbly personality! I havent received a massage that good in years. This is definitely the new salon for me.

My sister, niece, and nephew were looking for a quick last minute service for a Mani/Pedi and the Ladies here brought us straight in and were able to accommodate our requests. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and professional. We were greeted promptly and were offered wine, a pleasant surprise. If I lived in Houston, would definitely join their membership pricing. I highly recommend Rumor Has It!

I scheduled to come in for a massage, manicure, and pedicure. They called me 3 times within 1 hour to confirm the appointment. Once I got there, the massage was great. However, I had to leave and come back for my manicure and pedicure because they were short handed. Then the person exfoliating my hands did not use water so that was a very painful experience. Then, she started to tell me about her boss and her boyfriend. I was already stressed so I didnt feel like hearing her stress....... She also kept asking me if someone was paying for my spa day! I told her no multiple times. My nails were painted, but the clear coat did not cover my full nail so this only lasted a few days. Then they thought I was going to leave without paying when I was only walking to the counter to pay because I was dry. This was a waste of money, and I wont be back.

My husband and I had a great experience here. We called at 5 pm on a Monday for massage appts and they were able to get us in at 6:30. Carolyn and Ronald were wonderful. Extremely friendly and courteous, they listened to our concerns and told us exactly how they were going to take care of us. I was completely relaxed by the time we were done. The prices are reasonable and worth every penny! Will definitely be returning!

We called at 5:30 to see if they could take us. The two ladies was kind enough to do our two pedicures. We got the rockstar and they did great. I received white polish. The polish is mediocre and not as clean as I would have like it but overall the service was great.She also mentioned other things as far as the other services. Grateful for the ladies taking us in.

I have been coming to this spa almost weekly since 2019 for massage services. The customer service is impeccable (especially the front desk staff), it is extremely clean, and they are talented at what they do. I highly recommend booking your next massage with Ronald. Hes a pro!

Lexi was wonderful. Shell give you a manicure worth the high price, my pedicure was awesome too.The service was efficient, timely, and very welcoming. Customer service is A+.The atmosphere is so relaxing and beautiful. I would highly recommend this spa.

I truly appreciate the friendliness I receive every time I go to Rumor Has It. I have the mani/pedi and the massage memberships and always enjoy my visits. Joyce is the friendly face that usually greets me with a smile or the voice that helps me with setting my appointments. The massage with Ronald is phenomenal and my mani with Kim and pedi with Ikeya are the best. Ronald has the hands of a musician with massages that are second to none, Kim leaves my shellac mani impecable that usually lasts me 3-4 weeks and Ikeya always uses her creativity and talent to appease me with the crazy and weird designs I request on my toes. I always look forward to visiting the Rumor Has It team and love how they pamper me.

Overall Great experience!!!I was very pleased with the level of customer service provided by every member of the staff. My massage was phenomenal and the day before the massage I received a manicure and pedicure that was amazing. I will definitely be back for those services. However, I felt that the body wrap was miss leading and lacked adequate results. I also felt that I had to do a lot of work during the application of the wrap. This depleted the relaxed atmosphere and mindset I was in after my massage. A great way to give the customer a better experience would be to prepare a table/bed or room specifically for the wrapping. Dont have the customer stand the entire time. All body parts seem to be able to be wrapped separately. Maybe do the wrap before the massage. This should calm the client after the stress of being squeezed into plastic packaging and heated for 45mins to an hour. Also, I want to stress the fact that I totally regret paying for the wrap service because I saw no health benefits or results to the process. It was disappointing. I will not be getting it again.

I’m so confused by many of the negative reviews I read on here. My experience was incredible. I had wonderful service and was very pleased. I’ve gotten many massages, and I’m a tough critic. My massage was spectacular, and I couldn’t have asked for better pressure on my body, and she did exactly what I asked for. My facial was perfect. Priscilla really took care of me and took the time to talk with me about the products by the line called Image. Thank you Rumor Day Spa for such an excellent day.

My husband and I had a spa day here an it was the most relaxing day. The staff was friendly. The facilities were clean and tidy, which is crucial for me specially during covid. I had a full body massage and facial it was so relaxing 😌 Lesli was nice and gentle on my massage. I will definitely come again and refer my friends.

The owner is so rude & so mean towards employees!! I was getting a facial and I could hear her disrespecting an employee that was just trying to do her job. I found Rumor Has It just by accident, however what a blessing it turned out to be. The staff is incredible and the services are professional and uplifting! Sophia works the front desk and she is very knowledgeable and so helpful!My experience here was so impressive that Im coming back in three weeks!I highly recommend this place for your beauty needs, they are so attentive and absolutely wonderful!

Such a beautiful job and the refresh manicure which includes shellac colors is only $25 ! Just wow

This place is amazing. I went in for a manicure and got a great conversation and manicure! Everyone was so sweet and the shop was clean and cute. Definitely worth the hour and half drive! I have another appointment on July 1st for eyelash extensions so fingers crossed it goes as well as my appointment yesterday!

I had a terrible experience here😭 I booked an acrylic fill. The lady doing my nails was nice and I feel like she really tried to do her best to please me but the equipment that she used to file my nail kept over heating. I got burnt by the dremel multiple times. So much so that my hands started to shake at one point. I told her she burnt me and she told me that I was too sensitive😑. After she filed my nails she dipped my finger in a jar....She tried tried to put dip on my nails instead of acrylic. She put my finger in a jar that has had 100’s of fingers in it! We are in the middle of a pandemic! I almost left when that happened! I booked an acrylic fill, I picked out an acrylic color. I’m not sure where the miscommunication was. It took 2 hours for my acrylic fill. My nails look okay but it was not a good experience at all.

We found this place while visiting for a convention and came in because it had good reviews. I chose the milk and honey pedicure because I was looking forward to a nice relaxing hot stone massage. While the nail tech did a nice job on my feet she seemed more interested in looking at her cell phone than I making sure I was relaxed and enjoying the experience. In fact she didn’t even exfoliate one of my legs and only used the hot stone to rub the bottom of my foot once up and down. If I went back I would just do a basic pedicure, don’t waste the extra money because they don’t take any extra time.

The worst manicure I have ever received!!!! I went yesterday for a dip manicure and today the clear coat has already chipped on 4 nails!! They use a shellac tip coat and it had chipped on almost half of my nails within 24 hours. The place was literally empty when I went and I should have taken this as a cue to go somewhere else. After paying $50, I expect the manicure to last at least a week but nope! Not to mention on one of my nails the tech literally missed about 1/4 of the nail. Also, because they do use shellac, there is a big air bubble on another nail. This is subpar and not acceptable. I hate writing poor reviews, especially on small businesses but this is beyond unacceptable. It is not okay to take peoples money and provide such a poor service.When I requested a partial refund for this awful service, the manager was “going to look into it” but I never received any response back. Definitely not a business that I will ever visit again!Also, part of the reason they have so many good reviews is because you get a discount if you give one...

The Staff is outstanding, the Services are unbelievably well executed. The prices are more than fair. I will be a regular client here as long as they are here. They offer a four hand massage that you MUST experience if you can. It is truly wonderful. Never would I have thought a Nail Spa would be a high end Day Spa. (Hidden Gem). Do NOT miss out on this place you will be sorry.

First time I came here I got Sheila and made the mistake of not returning for months. Such a big mistake! I came back today and immediately felt the difference. I tend to get ingrown nails and she does such a great job getting rid of my pain. She pays attention to detail and my feet actually feel clean. I will never go to any other place. The best pedicure in town💕

Quality of nail services has gone down at this location, seems they might have changed ownership because all of staff which did a great job have left. Wedding nails for my mom looked like globs of gum and were cut down too short to edge of the skin in her nail bed.They provided a small discount to that service, but the stress of permanent nails looking unladylike the day before my wedding was priceless. Still I have them another chance because I was in a hurry and another place was booked. The place was empty (during covid we are kind of wanting this)....my dip nails were extremely thick, the electric nail filer looked dirty, and then the tex wanted to add a final top coat layer on top of dip in shellac? This defeats the purpose of wanting dip nails in my opinion. I don’t want harmful up light!so the nails ended up looking matte. not what they looked like on the sample they showed me. When I removed the nails, I had an INFECTION growing underneath the nail bed. Sorry but I gave you all one too many tries, Never again.

I wish I could give this nail salon 0 stars. I went for a mani/pedi and eyebrow threading. During my eyebrow threading, it was clear the technician did not know proper technique and cut my face with a pair of tweezers. She didn’t even tell me I was bleeding and instead, she handed me a mirror to see for myself. I was horrified and had a small cut above my right eyebrow. My mani/pedi was better - not resulting in any open wounds - but for $53 it was not worth the price. The polish was applied unevenly and the staff look terribly miserable the entire time. I didn’t mean to go to this nail salon and actually booked on accident, but I will never make that mistake again. If you are planning to go, steer clear of their eyebrow threading services.

My sister in law and I went today, the atmosphere, and the service were great. They did wonderful on my feet she took her time, my hands could have been done better. But I LOVED it there. It is pricey, but definitely does not make you feel like you wasted your money. We will be back! Thank you!

Today I got a Rumor Has It Facial, and it was lovely. The esthetician was very professional while also being candid and helpful without being pushy about using certain products. Normally in the past Ive come for pedicures, which I also enjoyed! The staff here is great, but I recommend having an appointment just in case.

Sheila was my nail tech and she gave me exactly what I asked for! I’ve had very negative previous experiences at other nail salons, and this is the one time I really felt relaxed while having my nails done. Sheila was very accommodating to my requests, and I absolutely love the results!!!! I can’t express how much I enjoyed my time here.

I dont have a manicure very often, its usually a little treat for myself. This is my third visit to Rumour Has It and I have been very happy with my gel manicure. I also think it is very reasonably priced compared to other spa salons. I can highly recommend this place.

I came to this spa today and it was awesome! The front desk was very polite and professional. I received Happy Joint pedicure and it felt so good and relaxing the lady that did my pedicure took her time and my legs and feet felt amazing. They also offer me water, hot tea and wine, I chose wine. Now Im thinking about going back getting the monthly membership and a facial plus massage.

Staff was very polite. They fit me and my cousin in for two pedicures right before they closed and stayed after for us. I’m normally skeptical about getting a pedi at a new salon but after reading the reviews we decided to give them a try, and my pedicure was awesome.

Love the atmosphere. The staff was excellent and friendly. I truly enjoyed my time there everything was perfect the masseuse was very good and so was Sheila she did my manicure. I will definitely be going back.

I went here because the reviews were good, but honestly I was not happy. I really hate when I don’t like places because I truly want to like it. I think I am most upset that the experience and quality was not worth $60+tip. I have been for pedicures at other places for way less and got better treatment. It was really odd the whole time. It felt like the entire staff did not like each other. I could feel the tension and it was uncomfortable. They were all silent and when one would talk to the other they would roll their eyes or seem annoyed. The whole pedicure felt like what a base package would be somewhere else. My feet did not get scrubbed enough. The lady I had was very sweet so I hate that I did not like it. Maybe they were stressed? Not sure. It was an odd experience.

Massages are nice along with the environment but the basic nail painting is abysmal. For the price you pay you would think the most basic service would be decent. The main parts of the nail were painted however the sides were not. My mother who I went with was not comfortable with the seating and lack of entertainment while getting her hands and feet done. I would not recommend.

Rita was so wonderful and accommodating. My wife and I have been talking about getting a couples massage for sometime now, so when I searched for spas in our area, I came across Rumor Has it. Im so glad I came in and talked to Rita (owner,) She was able to set an appointment for the same day.When we came in, Erick and a female masseuse took us to our private room. From the beginning, the experience was comfortable and very relaxing. I think I dozed off a couple of times bc it was so relaxing! The staff were very professional, and my wife absolutely loved the experience. Were definitely coming back for another massage!

I enjoyed my experience at Rumor Has It! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The salon was quiet and relaxing, which I appreciated. The service did take quite some time, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Prices are a little high, but I was very pleased with the result so I was happy to pay.

Rumor Has It is a great place for relaxation and they have done a great job each time with my pedicure and eyebrow wax. Very pleased with the result, plus I spent little time waiting to be serviced. Their prices are just slightly higher than other nail salons, but well worth it in my opinion. Sadly, the nail salon is about 45 minutes from my house, so I am not able to go there as often as I would like.

I have visited Rumor Has It a few times because of the location. Its is a beautiful salon with top notch customer service. Those doing your services dont chit-chat with other employees and focus only on you. I have been pleased with the results of my pedicure every time I go and would recommend them. My only reason for not visiting more often is the higher then normal cost of their services.

JOEMI, JOEMI, JOEMI!!!! This woman is the BEST nail technician that I have even been to in my entire life! I honestly cant express enough how happy I am with my nails. If you are in the area, and you are looking for quality service, please dont hesitate to make your way to Rumor Has It... And schedule an appointment with Joselys , shes amazing... a true gem! The ambiance in the establishment is tranquil and relaxing. The staff is extremely courteous and obliging. I wish I could remember the beautiful blond ladys name that did my pedicure, because I want to recognize her as well in this review. She did an awesome job on my feet, I am very happy with this place. A few weeks prior, I went in for a massage and Roxanne, gives the best massages. I left out of there feeling like a million bucks!! This place is worth every dime!! Having these quality staff members, is exactly why!! One more thing... The receptionist... I believe that it is very important to have a great personality at the front door. I didnt get the receptionist name, but she is very knowledgeable and very helpful! The team that I had the pleasure of interacting with is impeccable!

First time coming to Rumor Has It. Found a good deal on Groupon. The atmosphere feels like home. The staff is friendly and attentive. Play good music. Got to meet the owner. She is so sweet and humble. Beverages are offered when I arrived. I got a manicure and Joemi took her time. It is pricey. Brought my husband to get a 60 minute massage for his Valentine present. My husband liked his massage. Leslie was very professional. Did the head, legs, back and feet with hot stones. Coming back again.

I do not recommend this place. It was a dump inside. I wish they would have told me a male was going to do the facial. I do not like males to give me facials or massages, thats just my preference. This guy not only gave me a facial (which was not very good) but also continued to massage my neck, shoulders, arms and chest. I was very stressed and felt violated. It was the worst feeling. I will never go to this place again. They also charged me $100 for the facial. Very expensive for a not so good facial.

Just left and had a pretty bad experience because whoever chose my massage therapist just snapped her head at her to help me which I thought was rude.Then while I was getting said massage there was loud music playing the whole time while I was trying to relax and I couldnt focus at all.The therapist needs to cut her nailsAnd my overall massage was sub par to be generous.I paid $80 and wasted my money I feel.

Hilda has been wonderful! She made sure I was comfortable and listened to my needs. Told her I’m picky and like my nail shape very square. She was accommodating and made my experience well enjoyable too. Def, will be back! Thank you

My favorite one stop shop! Gabi is the most professional therapist i have ever been to. It is so hard to find someone who knows what they are doing and LOVE what they are doing. This place is amazing all the way around from nails to facials to massages to lashes. Thank you gabi and rumor has it team!

UPDATE: To the response... SAVE IT!!! You want to get on here and talk like you have some sense but when I was there you exhibited extremely rude behavior and poor customer service. I never asked for a refund I asked for my money to go toward a different service. I called in advance and was told by YOUR EMPLOYEE that it was okay. At that point, it your problem not mine. I did my part and unfortunately your employee dropped the ball. And you STILL haven’t apologized and continue to try and place blame on me. I have attached a photo that shows that you did in fact try and charge my card $200+ since you want to lie about that as well. I wish I didn’t have to give you the one star because you don’t even deserve that. Again, I will say I was the ONLY African American in my party and I feel like that’s why I was treated unfairly. You spoke of the other young lady who called in advance, well I called in advance too... so what’s the difference???WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I went here for a bachelorette party spa day. They make you pay 50% in advance. I paid 50% for my nails and feet. After reviewing their pictures of crooked, discolored, practice looking nails I decided to not waste my money. I called and asked if I could use the money I deposited for just my feet and not get my nails done. She said perfect no problem. I arrived for my appointment and the rude unprofessional owner says “The rules is the deposit cannot be refunded” I understand, however I’m not asking for a refund and I called and your worker told me it was okay. She said “well she’s new and she didn’t know. you messed up so you pay” After going back and forth with her, she’s yelling and telling me I’m responsible, she waved her hand and said “whatever just get out of face, I’ll let her do it”. She never apologized for the inconvenience or never took responsibility for the miscommunication. My friend, the bride, was getting a massage. I asked to talk to her so I can leave. She refused to tell me where she was and I decided to not ruin her day so I let Karla do my pedicure. Later on that day I found out that one of the other girls that was supposed to come didn’t make it. When she called, the owner gave her the option for a future credit. When she advised the owner that she didn’t live in Houston, the owner let her credit the Bride’s package WITH NO PROBLEM! I forgot to mention that I was the only black person in bachelorette party. And Now I just checked my account and they tried to charge me $241.50 twice. Luckily I used my CASH APP card and not my actual debit card. Karla who did my feet was extremely nice and professional! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Fabulous afternoon! Unpretentious, friendly, attentive services!

This was my first time at Rumor has It. The service was great from the greeting to the awesome pedicure. Joyce was welcoming and very helpful.

Was looking to change salons so gave this one a try, wont be going back. Made an appt based on reviews, even requested specific technician I read about in the reviews. And although I had an appt with Kate, I was blown off for two other technicians, one did my pedicure well, the other failed at shellac. My guess I got the person in training...it was applied poorly and too thick, had to be taken off and redone, I was there just over two hours...no apologies, no discount...I dont expect the shellac to grow out well, as the top coat is covering the cuticle and will pull up as it grows out. Big disappointment based on other reviews.

The two stars are for the very friendly staff. I went in on a Friday to get a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. The very next day, Sat. three nails started peeling off completely, so I went in on Sunday to have them fixed. They fixed four nails, the next day another one peeled off. I have never had shellac peel off so easily, it usually lasts on my thin nails at least three weeks. Im sure if I wouldve called they wouldve let me go and fix them at no charge again, but, who has time to go back a third time! So sadly, this place was not worth my $101.

I want to start by saying that my massage therapist Karla did an amazing job, Im over joyed with how well I feel, grant it I had liposuction and a Breast Augmention only 2 weeks ago and was very sore and in a lot of discomfort but she made me feel like I was back to normal and my pain level is now just about a 1 to a zero..... I cant thank Karla enough, plus management was extremely helpful and the scenery is very comfy and relaxing and not to mention my Wait time was only to fill out my paper work, Lets talk about time management.... I loved and enjoyed my experience ! I will be back

The staff were friendly and very sweet. My pedicure was great and looked good at the end, but my manicure was horrendous and not even worth what I spent. This was the worse job I have ever gotten done.

Lovely atmosphere and technicians. Fantastic pedicure.Did get gel manicure and have one nail chip /peel within 24 hours.. Otherwise, great manicure also. Other nails good for three weeks now.

We arrived a little after 1 pm and they closed and 6 pm. Unfortunately for my family when we walked in it seemed like the staff was exhausted. Their energy was gone and huffed and puffed at whatever we asked. And apparently there wasnt time for anything but pedicures and manicures to be done. I hate to say they did a lazy job with us as I could tell they seemed extremely tired but I feel like thats a poor excuse. Really not worth what I paid. First and last time visiting.

To start, I’ve had well over one hundred massages in my lifetime. And this was by far the worst one I’ve had. Not enough oil was used so my skin was pinched and scratched, I asked for a deep TISSUE massage and they rubbed my bones, rather than the TISSUE and muscles. Was so uncomfortable. Received a facial as well, and tissue paper was used to wipe my face. Very unhappy with this experience, will not be coming back. Would not recommend to anyone.

I came in asked for a pedicure. They had time bc there was one lady that walked in at the same time. No one else here. The place looks like a spa so I figured it would be good. The regular pedicure is $27 and comes with cuticle and callus removal if I’m not mistaken. Just like anywhere else you go. So I sit down to put my feet in barley warm water. Ok. Then she very lights rubs a scrub onto my feet. Then engined to polish them. I’m like so your not going to cut my cuticles or use the scrub thing? She’s like o you want me to scrub. I’m like yes and your not going to do the cuticles either?? that’s why I came. So she again very lightly just brushes the foot scrubber on the bottom of my foot. I could have done this at home. Still never cut my cuticles. So she polished them I sat under the dryer and went to pay. She asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I said no bc I came to relax and I wasn’t happy with the pedicure. The lady said ok and ran my card. Never asked why or seemed concerned. Very disappointing sense I really needed a good pedicure today. And there is polish on my skin

Love their design tech she stayed late to perfect my dragon design, she was definitely good at her job deserved more than the 90$ tip she got. The Massage gentleman who served us was also super cool 👍 great employees.

Constance is so amazing!!! I feel so relaxed when she does my pedicure and manicure. She has very gentle hands. I love the atmosphere in this place!! The customer service is very refreshing and they treat you like a celebrity!!

So I went to this place as a last minute thing because where I usually go was packed and I needed a mani/pedi asap. The ladys there were very very nice but the service was different from what I am used to. Also, too much stuff on the menu which is confusing. Im just used to the traditional pedicure of having my feet soaked, trimmed, filed, then having the hot towel put on my legs and then painted. I had my legs massaged with sugar or whatever it was FIRST, then the rest came after. I did not like the sugar on my legs or hands. I thought that was pointless. I never have that done when i go to my regular place. But they did get the job done. I dont think I will become a regular.

My sister and I decided to have a girls day out. Got the package today it was horrible. First of all, we got there and they did not have any idea what we were getting done. Okay no biggie there was a communication error. The package states wine and chocolate covered strawberries will be given we were given water. We went back for our massage and facial. I started with the massage it was it was not bad, but not great for $104. Then the situation began to get weird we were asked to switch beds. We were naked so that did not happen even if it’s my sister. They kept playing with the light on off on off which made it hard to relax. The facial was ridiculous she kept rubbing soap on top of my eye which made it burn and string really bad. With each new layer of soap that was add they would barely rub it off. They would just put a hot towel over the soap and wipe barley. By the time the facial was done I still had facial scrub stuck to my face and neck that I had to ask for a towel and excuse myself to go and scrub off. I proceeded to the bathroom to wash my face off and take a bathroom break trying to regroup and there was no toilet paper I asked for some and they brought me a box of Kleenex. Then I went to wash my hands and there was no hand towels. That was all for $104. Haha my eyes are still watering from the soap.

Nail techs do NOT know how to apply simple shellac on your nails. Even tried to over charge a cloth to fix a broken nail that didn’t even last up to the last coating of shellac before it broke again. Nail techs are unprofessional and do side business while there when they are under contract not too! One technician Karla Palacios got fitness advice from a customer and against policy paid her half for the advice but when the client left, Karla the tech didn’t even pay her the rest and the client complained. The company has a policy for third party agreements while at work and this tech clearly ignored them and went on to steal from a client she got help from. This company is extremely UNprofessional and lack simple customer service for when they and their employees don’t do their job. They have NO refund policy but expect you to wait until they have free time to schedule you in to fix the nails they so desperately rushed to do..don’t be surprised when you have to wait a week like I did and don’t be even more surprised when they try to tell you they can’t fit you in on a day that works best for you. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! There are better spas with more trained technicians there and better management. • ZERO STARS •

Came in for the first time prices are super HIGH just a regular pedicure was $35-$50 !!!! And just for something super duper fast , the tech was nice but seriously if I’m paying a high price I EXPECT MORE , my eyebrows were fine but I walked out with lose hair on my forehead and wax under my brows . I expected more . My total $75 + the tip . Smh .

Booked a surprise appointment for my wife on mother’s Day... it was the only place that took her in. Next to that being the most incredible thing, my wife’s happiness was priceless!!!! Will continue to bring her here. If I was able to give a 10 star rating I’ll give it an 11!!! The staff is amazing and understanding and there patience is a plus!

Rumor Has It greets you with a welcoming staff. They provide a wide range of services. Shelia, did an excellent job on my full set. They have a variety of colors to choose from. Its truly a relaxing spa. I highly recommend this spa.

Lovely, not overpriced neighborhood salon. It has an upscale feel and they carry Zoya nailpolish. Plus, they are open Sundays. The person at the front desk did tell me that the manicurist prefer cash tips, but they will honor either.

Rumor Has It Day Spa provided a great experience. Booking was super simple on their website - they even called to confirm a few days ahead. My massage was great; it was both relaxing and therapeutic. I will definitely be back. Its the kind of place I could go to regularly.

That was the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. I’m pretty sure she skipped half the pedicure, the massage lasted all of 1 minute. Very disappointed. Not only that the utensils were not individually packaged and the foot soak was not lined. Not a big deal but when you combine it with the terrible pedicure, terrible.

Probably one of the cleanest salons Ive visited. Great colors, good service, and I like that they do special extras (i.e. send you home with some touch up polish!). I would say the only con is that they are a little higher priced than other nail salons, but it is easy to see why.

Love the staff here! They know me by name, are always smiling and friendly. They even remember things about your family. They remembered stuff about my daughter and she only goes in about 1-2 times a year. I love that they all speak English and we can carry on conversations.

I just got a facial done by Caroline. I must say that because of my dry sensitive skin I am always concerned about getting a facial yet she exceeded my expectations. The experience made me want to come back and request her to do my service. The rockstar facial was just as described and will definitely stop there again when I come back to Houston. Plus, they offer military discount.

This place is too expensive go somewhere else!! I was quoted $67 & paid $7 more for a shellac mani & classic pedi , something I would get at Wal-Marts nail salon in dunvale for $45. I have paid $67 in nail salons that I would get long nails this time I only did shellac on my own nails so it is absurd. I only give it 1 star for the friendly staff.

My manicure and pedicure were fabulous! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and it smelt so fresh, inviting. My nail technicians were excellent and I love my nails.

A huge thank you to Rita and her staff for taking care of the DIVAS as we celebrated our DIVA weekend in the great city of Houston. My family was blown away by the great hospitality shown by the staff. They were able to accommodate everyone from massages, to facials, manis and pedis as we sipped our wine 🍷, munched on chocolate covered strawberries 🍓, (provided by RHDS) and breakfast!!! We just cant stop talking about such an AMAZING experience. Rumor Has It Day Spa owner and staff really ROCKS!!!🎸🎸🎵🎵

No matter which professional there takes care of you, they are fun and talented ladies. They are reasonably priced and take walk-ins too, which is so convenient!

Rumor Has It was very conveniently located near my house. I went in for a pedicure. They did a nice job and had great customer service. I just felt I could be more kind on my wallet at a different location.

Friendly receptionist but the manicure and pedicure was horrible. $10 extra for buff and it was not done properly. Waste of $58.

To the name Rumor Has It, THE RUMOR IS that this was the WORST customer service EVER! Do not waste your time or money here! The hood gives you much BETTER customer service than they will! This is coming from my co-workers and myself. We planned a group activity and thought this would be very relaxing, but NO! Unfortunately, I HAVE to give them 1-star for this review, but its really 0 STARS!!

Went in for a manicure and pedicure, the pedicure was okay but the manicure was horrible, by the third day it was already completely chipping from the cuticles. Not worth it at all. So disappointed and frustrated.

This place is awesome!. Nail tech Kate is so kind and professional. Once you see Kate never want to go to another place because a lot place isnt nice as her, I will promise.

Initially when I came in, I was not greeted. However, after sitting in the lobby for about 3-5 minutes I was offered a water and asked what services I was needing. The lady that took me back was polite and thorough.

I just moved here and walked in excited, thinking I had found a great place that knew what they were doing. Sadly I was wrong, I got a dip nail polish but all of my nails came off within a week! It was very disappointing. :(
