I had a massage with Adam today! And WOW it was one hell of a massage! I will be coming back. He really got into the parts of my body that needed attention. I felt great leaving and I feel even more relax now. He is an incredible massage therapist you should definitely book him! :)

Went to Elvia and it was a great experience. Very relaxing and the atmosphere was nice. She managed to get every kink and knot out so I will definitely go back.

I’ve been coming to Massage Heights Midtown for several years now and they are the best! Everyone has always been nice and helpful. I like to workout and lift weights and sometimes I get sore and need to get a massage to help me out. Julio is a really great massage therapist, I can definitely recommend him to go to. He knows all the right parts of your body where you are most tight and need extra help in getting any knots out. I always feel better after coming to him.

I’ve been going to Massage Heights for many years and always enjoyed it. It’s good for the price and they’ve always had clean and professional services. However, I would like to put in a recommendation for Julio at the Midtown location out of all of the therapist I’ve had in the years I’ve gone he finds knots I didn’t know I had, and incorporate stretching Into the massage. He’s a really nice guy, but more importantly, very skilled at his craft. I don’t typically repeat a therapist and just take anyone available, but I think that may be changing with Julio after leaving the session today. All of the session with him have been consistent and I leave feeling looser and better than I came in feeling.

This place is a mess, lazy therapist. that dont take accountability. I have membership here and I booked my last appointment at 7pm well the therapist gave me a 45 min massage and complained that shed try to do her best because her hands hurt be shed been working all day. they say 60 min massage but apparently its only 50mins. When I complained to management I was accused of having my breast out prior to the massage . like huh ? A counter complaint to a customer complaint. i assume I wasnt supposed to be naked under the covers ? lazy young therapist trying to get by on consumer! Try massage envy instead ! I loved Elvia, she has the most amazing hands. I didn’t know what elevation to get, but she recommended me some hot stones and honestly that helped me relive a lot of tension and I had in my shoulders and lower back. I already booked my next massage with her :)!

Ive been coming here for 2-3 years and appreciate the kind front staff and skilled massage therapists. I like that I can schedule in advance or book online last minute.I have gone to Adam the last two appointments and was surprised my chronic muscle tension and pain has been significantly relieved. Adam has healing hands and easily finds the sources of my pain. I also havent experienced any tension headaches since going to him. Thank you so much, Adam!

We decided last minute to get him a massage and me a facial. They were able to work us in on a holiday at the same time on the same day as called. My facial and his massage was wonderful!!!!! When I come back to Houston I surely will come back to see them.

Went here for a couples massage and it was a very positive experience. The front desk was personable with us and the masseuses were fantastic.My only gripe is the location. Not in a very nice location, with odd people roaming the area and loitering in establishments. There is security so if that is a concern to you, dont fret. Overall great experience.

I went there for a birthday trip for a friend and we decided to go to this place because the other company was too far a way from our airbnb. The atmosphere was great in the location. My massage was nice which is why I would give it one star. Because of the process with the membership, I’m giving it 0 stars. I wasn’t told I had a few days to cancel my membership and I was not sent an email like the rep stated. She told me it was a month to month so I thought I would have the option to cancel. (Huge Mistake) I called a week later and they said it was too late and there is nothing they can do about it. I sent a letter to corporate and still nothing. Why would you not have options to cancel a “massage” membership? I This is ridiculous and I have told my friends and colleagues. Once my “contract” is over I will not be returning. Also please read other bad reviews, clearly there are a lot of people going through the same thing and still getting charged even after their year is up. I’m thinking about legal action at this point.

My recent impromptu visit to this establishment left me pleasantly surprised by their accommodating same-day service. The reception staff, two lovely ladies, greeted me warmly, setting a welcoming tone from the start. Dakota, my massage therapist, was outstanding. His friendly demeanor put me at ease, and his massage technique was impeccable, delivering just the right amount of pressure for a truly relaxing experience.Considering the reasonable pricing, I found the service to be more than satisfactory, and Im eager to return for another visit. The combination of convenience, hospitality, and skillful massage therapy makes this place a definite go-to in my book.

My facial with Sherrelle was great! She is very knowledgeable and let me know what she was doing and why. She also gave me some recommendations to do going forward. I originally booked for the LED light because I had heard about it, but because I told her I was claustrophobic she gave me a better recommendation to get the microdermabrasion.The facial it self was very relaxing and soothing. Will definitely be making this a part of my self-care routine!

I have never been more disappointed with the customer service of a company. I found them to be rude and dismissive. NEVER sign up for one of their memberships. It’s super scammy. They do not make it clear AT ALL that you can’t cancel your membership under, essentially, any circumstance. I had some major and unforeseen medical expenses. Tried to request cancelation and they denied me. I tried to explain further as to why I needed to cancel and got denied again. I even attempted reaching out to corporate. I’m at a loss and am not sure what to do. Multiple people have suggested legal action….

I cannot rave about Julio and Izzy enough! As someone who consistently works from home, my upper back and neck areas are always tense. Both of these massage therapists are thorough, helpful, and highly knowledgeable. I would recommend them without hesitation!

I received a gift card here from my daughter. Julio did a good job! I recommend him. It was a very good, relaxing 90 minutes with hot stones. He is great with them! If you have a membership it’s pretty reasonable, but if you only go in one time, it’s pretty pricey.

Very clean and nice atmosphere once you step and wait for a short time for your room to be prepared you can see that this place is serious about good service. Only name I remember is Mike who offered us different packages for a membership. Being that we are not from. The area and there isnt a massage Heights in our area we had to decline the offer but dispite that might was totally awesome and help ful. Membership or not we will be back when ever we are able to visit Houston again. Oh yeah we got the Couples massage..

I highly recommend this location because i had my first facial here with a Therapist name Sherrelle first let me start by saying that was an excellent first time facial for me she also recommended that i do LED Light Therapy which is an elevation to help with the hyperpigmentation in my face all i can say is im so excited about my next facial I cant wait !!!!

Amazing ! Julio E is the most incredible therapist I have ever had . He worked on a shoulder that I had absolutely lost hope in ever feeling better. At the end of the massage…I felt like I had new shoulder. His attention to details and his professionalism was A+. I HIGHLY recommend Julio E for anyone looking for an amazing massage! Ive been a member for a few years and my experience has been extremely positive. All of the massage therapists Ive had there have been great. Christopher stands out as one of my favorites and I recently had Julio who is great too. I highly recommend!

In town for a concert decided to get a massage. OMG! My therapist Denise was amazing! I highly recommend Massage Heights and Denise for a deep tissue massage.

I have been a member of Massage Heights for a couple of years. Have recently tried sessions with Julio since November 2023 and have been very impressed by his skill. I have tight shoulders and upper back and after the sessions with Julio, my shoulder tightness has disappeared. Highly recommend Julio and I hope that he continues to stay at the Midtown location!

Even though I live right around the corner from the River Oaks location, I 100% prefer the Midtown branch. Every therapist Ive worked with so far has been great, and my recent massage with Julio was absolutely amazing! He was so friendly and positive, and I was just relaxed and melted into the table my whole massage. He worked through a lot of my tension and I can still feel the difference in my neck and shoulders a few days later. Next appointment is already booked :)

I’ve been going to massage heights midtown for years. Julio is a new addition to the team and he is amazing! One of my favorite therapists left last year so that was a disappointment. One of the receptionist’s recommended Julio and I was glad she did. He listens to you about your problem areas and fixes them. He gives a great firm pressure massage and makes you feel relaxed. I’ve seen him a few times now and I always leave feeling like a million bucks. I’ll definitely book him again!

So far I have really enjoyed my experience here, I just got the membership and had my first massage and it was one of the best ones I have ever had. I believe their prices are very reasonable for membership and their staff is incredibly professional and kind - I have spoken with Kevin in particular and I really appreciate the added value he gives to my experience, he is so kind, knowledgeable and professional! I highly recommend this location and cant wait to come back.

Type: Deep TissueI love that all the therapists here ask what we would like worked on at the beginning of each appointment. I’ve been coming for a couple of months, changing between therapists, and today I was assigned to Julio for the first time. Hands down the best massage here yet! He knew when to put more pressure and when to go softer. He was also very kind and professional. I’m looking forward to my next appointment with him.

I couldn’t go lower on my rating. I called to cancel they and they refuse to cancel and claimed to not receive the email. They have been charging me for a year untilI reported it as fraud to my bank. NEVER AGAIN

I recently had 2 amazing sports massage sessions with Julio at Massage Heights.At my wifes encouragement, I have been coming to Massage Heights for over a year and have seen four other good therapists, but have essentially remained indifferent to massages in general. Its not Massage Heights, the ambiance is great and the environment is comfortable, Ive simply been neutral on the concept. In all honesty, I had 3 hours in my account balance and had planned on cancelling my membership that day.However, after having a massage from Julio, I immediately scheduled another massage 2 weeks later for 90 minutes, which Ive never felt inclined to do before (time or duration).As with all of my previous massages, he was very attentive to my pressure preferences and checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable. He followed a similar process to other sports massages Ive had at MH, but the nuance in his technique made a considerable difference. Ive had a few knots and tension in my back & neck that have been an ongoing issue for 15 years, but for the first time I can confidently say they are nearly gone. I have never noted any considerable quality of life improvement after a massage, but 2 weeks after my first massage with Julio, my back and neck tension was nearly imperceptible.I am surprised an encouraged by this experience, and can say for the first time I am excited to continue my massage therapy sessions. I am looking forward to the ongoing relief, and hopefully increased athletic performance.

I loved my prenatal specialist here! She was very sweet. The only reason I give 4 stars is my husband and I went for 30 minute appts, and he was called before me, but somehow Im exited before him. So I feel like Ive been shorted time. Set your timer when you come!

Expensive if you dont have a membership, but otherwise quite nice. They have some very good therapists here.Julio does a fantastic job. Although he does ask where you would like the focus, I find it best not to say too much because hes very good at identifying the knots and working them with the right pressure and good technique. He even comes back to the worst spots for a more effective result.

Karina is the absolute BEST. I almost don’t want to mention her because I’m afraid she will get booked up due to being so skilled. She truly listens to what I need and does it perfectly every time!! I live 45 minutes away, and pass by at least a dozen Massage Heights on my drive to this location- but Karina is worth it!!100/10 - she is FANTASTIC.

My services have always been wonderful at this location, especially my massage with Alex in July. My problem has now come up with being charge a membership fee, despite paying in full for the 3 months, and having the employee who went over the contract with me not appropriately explain cancellation, although I asked multiple times. Please just read more carefully on the agreements when you are attempting to pay in full.

5 Stars for Gloria! I absolutely loved my hour and 30 minute massage today. Gloria made sure to focus on all the knots I didnt even know were there and I feel so refreshed now. If you like to be stretched also, shes got you covered. I added cupping which was also a cool new experience because Im always so used to hot stones. Glad I switched it up. Thanks Massage Heights!

First time ever having a facial, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Tatiana is highly knowledgeable and patiently explained the steps and the products used as she went through the process. Felt really relaxed the whole time and cant wait to try other facials and elevations.

I have been coming to this location for years and my “regular” therapist is no longer there, so I just pick randomly or based on recommendations. I have gotten great massages from Izzy and Kevin since then. Today, I got a massage from Julio, and he was so detailed and even took time to discuss a treatment plan afterwards. I booked my next massage when I checked out, which I’ve never done. Great experience all around!

So I just came from this place and I definitely have to say the experience was exceptional!! I had an appointment with a lady by the name of Denise V. I explained to her that this was my first time getting a massage because I’m not too comfortable with being touched. She reassured me that it would be ok and made me feel very comfortable. She was very gentle and was very professional. I DEFINITELY recommend this place and booking a session with Denise V.

The facial that I reviewed yesterday from Melissa was amazing. I will come back to her and recommend others to go to her as well. I got a hour facial and arguably one of the most relaxing hours of my life.The led lights work very good.

I have been a member of this location for at least 7 years and I have to say Allan K has been my favorite therapist in all those years. He is friendly and professional and always makes sure the pressure is correct. I almost cancelled my membership until I found him.

I always look forward to getting a massage especially when I have had a stressful week. Chad is one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever gone to. I feel great for days after any of his massages. I recommend Chad to anyone needing to feel restored. He’s the best!!!

I regret buying a membership. The massages are fine, but they request tip on “full price” which is way above market rates. If you rack up credits, you have to use them. You cannot pause your membership and use them while you catch up or gift them to anyone.

It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten a massage, so it was no better time like the present to change that. I’ve heard some great things about Massage Heights and decided to book an appointment. I’m so happy I listened to those suggestions because the entire experience was a delight; from the ambiance, to the customer service. The therapist Gloria that I was booked with was so kind, and pretty much melted away the back pains I’ve been suffering from. I felt so relaxed after my service that I quickly booked another appointment. I Highly recommend adding Massage Heights to your self care routine; trust me you won’t regret it.

I Sign up for this membership 7 months ago. Its very pricey and then you have to tip from the total amount not the membership amount! So I tried to cancel it and they doesnt let you cancel , only freze the membership for 6 months . So I have only 2 days left before they freeze my membership and Im not available to go and use it , I have left 2,5 hours the one I paid for , and they wont let me use it unless I open my membership! Like WTH is this ????? Not enough u expensive, u also dont let me get out of the membership or let me use the hours I have left , the one I paid for ????

I had a late night flight out of town and decided to grab a massage. The appointment process was super easy online and I had a GREAT massage from Julio! He was fantastic and very responsive to any request! Next time I am back in Houston I will be returning.

I would give 5 stars for Soma because she did an amazing job; however, the 2 receptionists literally ruined my experience & my day at this establishment. Their attitudes were horrible. The first receptionist did not have a welcoming or friendly personality. The other was very helpful & nice over the phone but in person, she was rude, did not greet me, & wasnt friendly either. They were both rude & defensive over the simplest questions. I 100% won’t be spending any money with any business that has rude employees. Customer service/ etiquette classes would be beneficial for this location.

I really enjoy coming here after a long week of work to get my relaxation on. My favorite therapist is Chad, he so fantastic. Great character and really knows how to massage and just get me to relax and unwind. He is the best massage therapist in town.

Updated: I have been coming to this particular massage height location for the last 5years, I have to say the consistency in quality of service, including during pandemic, has been impressive.I have my preferred therapist, Izzy, who has been excellent. He tailors each session as needed to my aches and pains. The front desk receptionists, Daniella and Paloma, are my fav. They are so welcoming each and every time and attentive.—————I like this place for their service and attention to details.The receptionists at the front desk are always nice and helpful. The massage therapists are excellent. Each therapist is slightly different but each paid attention to my tension points.

My therapist at this particular visit had very hairy arms. Yes…can you imagine. I almost threw up twice. Most visits are good but you pay more for the better therapists.

My girlfriend and I are visiting Houston for the first time to celebrate her birthday and I wanted to book us massages while we were here. Due to a minor inconvenience our times were cut short by half, however it was literally the best and most informative 30 minute session I’ve had thus far so the time didn’t even matter. My therapist Marie was absolutely amazing and I felt 10x better after leaving. Same goes for my partner’s therapist Latisha. I highly recommend booking with these ladies. Also, I may misspell her name (sorry) but Racquel at the front desk was so very helpful in getting things booked and super nice. 10/10 recommend

I have had a monthly membership for several years. I find this location the worst one. While it’s not terrible, the staff are much less helpful or flexible than the Heights one I frequent. It’s frustrating to be a long-standing monthly member and have them give me rote, bureaucratic responses to questions or requests. I would recommend you find a different Massage Heights locale, for a better a customer service experience, if not a massage experience.

I recently had a massage with Chad and it was amazing! My back pain went away and Ive been feeling great ever since. He has magic hands and Ive already recommended him to all my friends!

This was my first time ever getting a massage. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant, and was suggested to get my prenatal massage by Miguel. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! I felt very comfortable throughout the entire massage. I was able to communicate with Miguel during the massage on what wasn’t comfortable and what was too much pressure or too little. He able to accommodate me and do specific pressures on certain areas which felt amazing. When the massage was over he told me the areas that were the tightest and how to take care of them at home. This massage felt very customized to me and I enjoyed every minute of it. Would recommend Miguel for your next prenatal massage.

I initially had booked a facial with my massage appointment on Wednesday, December 8 2021. I was notified the day of the appointment that the person scheduled to do my facial called into work. I was rescheduled to come in the following day at 7pm but also the same situation occurred. I then agreed to them rescheduling my facial appointment to Saturday at 3pm. Unfortunately this day i completely forgot about my appointment this day and talked to the manager about my situation of missing the appointment. The manager enforced the rules of notifying 24 hours of appointment if need of cancellation and being charged as a no show. I tried to explain that I was rescheduled twice from my initial appointment but was notified the day of and not held to the same standard. I just didn’t want to loose my whole facial appointment credit due to the fact I was not able to make after this time just for being rescheduled twice . The manager was not understanding of this matter and held me accountable according to the rules and stipulation. I’m sure anyone as a customer who has been loyal at paying for their monthly membership would feel undervalued. I was very nice and did not leash out with a attitude, but I did want to leave a review on exactly how I felt after not being sympathize with. I hope no one else has to go through this situation . It’s very unfortunate that this company’s policy and management are not considerate of customers. I don’t think I will ever be continuing my monthly payments to this organization once the rest of my credits have been used.

Very convenient location and scheduling. The staff are always nice and professional. The best part, though is my amazing massage therapist, Bri! She is so personable, professional, and always does a phenomenal job targeting problem areas. The membership package is worth it!

The front desk girl was very rude and condensing. Because it was my first time there, so I was trying to ask her questions about the charges. Fast forward I asked for my glasses and keys which I left in the room. She told me someone else was in there and that I had to wait 30 mins. I asked again after 5 mins she rolled her eyes went in there and got my glasses. I then went back in the same room where she started someone was in and got my keys. No one was there. When I walked out she said “well say thanks for the glasses”. Worse experience ever!!! I should have just went to the one on River Oaks where I usually went! Because I did not feel welcome here at all!Jennifer did a fantastic job on my facial. But that girl who refused to give me her name took the shine away. This all happened Wednesday December around 10:15am!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Ive only been having massages for a couple years but since Im also a therapist myself I see all the little details.My therapist was Amelia, she was professional in communication my wants and needs and listened to any issues I was having. During the session she checked with my frequently to make sure the pressure was the right amount and big plus, she didnt massage over my bony spine or focused on my tendons(fragile little areas).Overall, with relaxation in mind, this was a great massage.

I have a simple monthly membership with lots of credits built up from covid. I go here and see Linda when she is available. She did all my prenatal massages (those require a specialist). I have had other therapists there and everyone is great. I have to have deep tissue massages for my old sports injuries that flair up sometimes and give me excruciating headaches. Plus desk work gave me some carpal tunnel that hurt

My experience at MH was far greater then what I expected. My first massage experience was with Gloria, it was so relaxing as well as educating. She recommended I come at least once a month because all the tension in my shoulders. I had my facial done by Nicole she did some extracting and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. She worked super fast making it painless. Towards the end I got a face massage that just made me want to take a nap right after. I left relaxed with my skin glowing, will def be back!

So happy with the massage I received today! I had a hemp infused massage with a complementary aroma therapy, perfect for relaxation. Terrance was so professional and knew exactly what my body needed. He checked in with me to make sure the pressure was good and even stretched my body! It’s crazy how well he knows the body, to where he knows what areas need more focus without me even telling him! I genuinely recommend Terrance, he is a great masseuse that adjusts to what your body needs.

My experience was positive all around! Ryan was professional from start to finish from the initial consultation about what areas I wanted to focus on during the massage and throughout. I felt comfortable during the massage, draping was executed professionally and he seemed very experienced and knowledgeable in his profession. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reputable masseuse!

Im giving Denise these five stars! She provides the best deep tissue massage for me once a month. My job is physical and her work helps me with my chiropractic visits!

*** Postnatal massage approved ***Massage Heights saved my back!I came in because I had back and neck pain from post-partum and 4 months of breastfeeding. I went multiple times to the chiropractor but it didnt change anything. I was really desperate when I went to massage height and my pain literally disappeared within a day or so.I felt during the appointment that the therapist knew exactly what he was doing. It was kind of painful because I asked for medium to firm pressure but it really worth it!It was about a month ago and unfortunately I am not 100% sure of the name of the therapist (I think it was Miguel).The only thing I didnt like is that they push really hard to sell membership!

Great service and the staff was very attentive to my needs. My experience at massage heights was therapeutic. I have been a member for years and Denise has been the best at physical therapy for after my high intensitivity sports. My therapist Denise was very knowledgeable about the muscles in the body. She has been working out my lower back and issues and well as my rear sciatic nerves through my leg..

Good massage but TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT GET THEIR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP. Seriously don’t do it. They will push and push so you don’t have to pay the full price for your massage, making the sale sound so convincing.It has been such a terrible experiencing cancelling.We have attempted canceling our membership for well over a month now. It took a week and a half to get the cancellation paperwork they send via email, and when they sent the paperwork the paperwork was only for one person on the 2 person membership. We called to receive the second half but never did. We were charged again, even after giving the thirty day notice after being told we would NOT BE CHARGED AGAIN. We were told a supervisor would call us back not once, but four times, and never received a call from said supervisor. I’m really not one to leave reviews like this but this is absolutely ridiculous. Will never do business with Massage Heights again.

My first visit here was excellent. The staff in the front are nice and caring. They explained the waiver, and all the products available to add on to my massage. I received a massage from Ron. The massage exceeded my expectations. Since Ron was a new therapist, I was slightly nervous, but his conversation made me quite comfortable. Initially I requested for firm pressure, but that was something that I could not handle. RONadjusted the pressure, without me having to ask. Also he was able to work on my problem areas, and completed a full body with in the allocated time.

Past (Mother’s Day 2017): Experience was not that great, especially not for my 1st time. The place is amazing and staff is awesome and friendly, it was just the person that made the experience not great at all.Update today (03/17/2018): I got contacted by the manager and they gave me a complementary hour massage. I explained my experience and she was super understanding and just great! Kristen was the lady doing my prenatal/perinatal massage and she was just amazing!! I recommend her 100%. I will definetly be back as this time my experience was excellent and I even got a membership this time!

Ive been a member at this location of Massage Heights for almost two years. Everyone at the front desk is super friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Also, Catelyn is THE BEST masseuse Ive ever had. She really listens to your body and focuses on the areas that need attention. I get a 90 minute massage with her almost every week, and its one of the best things I can do for my stress levels and overall health. Highly recommended!

I really like the massage and facial packages that you get to select from for the membership. Some masseuse and esthetician are good, but you have to go through trial and error or ask the front for their good staff members.This is just in regards to the cancellation from Massage Heights . I just got a call that the esthetician had cancelled 2 hours before my appointment. When customers cancel within 24 hours, were charged 50%. When Massage Heights cancel within 24 hours, they say sorry and lets reschedule and we dont have someone available during your appointment time. I had to confirm my appointment a day beforehand as well. Sucks, and wont be renewing with them after my year membership.

The office staff are very polite, patient, and helpful! The masseuses were all great that I’ve had at this location. They really knew how to hit the muscle knots to make me feel better. I always felt comfortable going there and never had a bad experience.Granted. Their policies are a little shady, in terms of how they forced me to keep paying during the pandemic (or lose my credits, as you get a month to use them but they were closed down).

Just recently had a massage from here The place was lovely I left out feeling relaxed Denise is the best! she listened to my issues and worked primarily where I asked. Highly Recommended

Ryan really took care of me. This was my second time returning but my first time with him. And my massage was very relaxing and soothing. He is an expert at stretches and working out kinks you have from being tense or just stressed out. I definitely will be returning to him. He’s very comforting and friendly and knowledgeable. I will even need to extend my massage from an hour to longer !!

This location has definitely been my favorite out of all the ones Ive tried. The staff are super nice and Mauri Barefoot has been especially fantastic! The level of detail in her work has been showing far better results in the long run than any other massage Ive gotten before. Im definitely going to be one of her regulars from now on.

I had a amazing massage with Chad! When I came in and had major lower back and upper back issues being a bartender. I swear he fixed me, he also was very knowledgeable and explaining the importance of returning monthly! Request Chad!

Couldn’t agree more with Christian B and Danielle Bruns comments. GREAT massage therapists but horrible front office customer service. Alejandra does an excellent job in deep tissue. As far as the “Membership”, I got robbed $300+ due to cancelling my membership after one year. How? Well 2020 happened and the office was closed a big portion of the year but I was still charged every month. It accumulated so when I returned in September to cancel the membership, I had 90 days to use all my credits. It was impossible to get in all the credits I had paid for. Horrible deal.

I recently had a massage with Clint at massage heights midtown. He is an expert therapist with a gift at being able to easy muscle stiffness and pain. He has his own technique and style. I hesitate to mention how good he is for fear he will be so overbooked that I will never get another appointment with him. 😂 Clint is truly an outstanding therapist!

The massage itself was great, what happened after was not.Almost an hour after my massage I received a text saying I hadn’t closed out my invoice. I’m an Uber driver and I already had a passenger, but I called them as soon as I dropped him off. They told me the card information I had entered online was only to hold the appointment and I had to pay in person so they could verify the card was mine. So I went back, they gave me the sales pitch for the membership, I declined, they had me sign an invoice and that was it. Never had to take out my card. I checked and saw they had already charged my card an hour earlier.So basically it seems they lied about not being able to charge the card information I entered online, made me stop working and drive through over half an hour’s worth of heavy traffic, so they could give me the hard sale on their membership. Not a great customer service experience.

The ladies are always helpful with our bookings and they typically suggest massage therapist that meet our needs. We’ve been members for years and always typically get a 90 mins when we go as 60 mins just isn’t enough time.

I had not been to this location before so I let the front desk pair me with someone and they set me up with Miss Jackie and I could not have been happier. Since then Ive seen her once per week for about five weeks now and she has helped me immensely. Ive had a frozen shoulder for over a year due to an injury and she has it moving freely when no one else has ever made even the tiniest bit of improvement!!! I walk out of her massages in a total relaxation trance. I HIGHLY recommend Miss Jackie!

I recently had a 90 minute facial with Keani. I really enjoyed my treatment especially since it included some messaging of my neck and shoulders, my stress areas! She’s pleasant to talk to and the environment is clean and soothing.

Ive had several wonderful massages at Massage Heights Midtown. Right away the front staff greets me by name with pleasant attitude and big smile.My most recent massage was with Olga. She hit all the spots! She is trained in some type of medical massage and was very through addressing my recurrent shoulder complex. She massaged 360° around the area and encouraged me to have it worked on frequently and practice self massage to continue working out the kinks. I really appreciated her style and knowledge and will definitely be requesting Olga again for continued treatment.

I just decided to use my gift card for a massage in May, and I ended up getting a membership! My therapist Angie was simply amazing. She applied the right pressure and pays special attention to the areas that need extra work. I am very athletic, and so I appreciate a good massage. I am very happy at this location!

I had Angie do my massage and she did wonderful! My neck was the stiffest and tightest Ive felt in a long time and Angie took her time to work the muscles and get them feeling relaxed again. My neck feels SO much better than it did going in. I also love the hot stone option, I get it every time and it really loosens up my muscles. This was the first time I received a facial and it was the best thing I could have done. My skin therapist, Sara was amazing!!! She asked all the right questions to help determine the products needed for my skin. She took her time and explained what she was doing to my skin as she was doing it. During my facial, I got an extraction to help get the dirt out of my pores. I know it is not a quick fix to fix my skin problems, so that is why i will be coming back once a month so that it can help. If youre looking to get a facial, ask for Sara!!

I was needing to schedule a couples massage for our anniversary and called MH Midtown. They informed me they weren’t doing couple massages because of their safety guidelines, so they accommodated us with simultaneous appointments in individual rooms; under the circumstances we understood. I had Eric, he’s very knowledgeable in sports stretching and every anatomical part I asked him to focus on he was fully aware and did so. He told me he has training on multiple techniques for different areas of the body including reflexology. He told me he’s been a therapist for over 20 years and loves what he does. Eric is a talker and if your massage is just to relax just let him know you want to relax and he will totally understand. He’s an excellent communicator so be sure to tell him exactly what you want he’ll take care of your needs. I had a 90 minute massage and he talked me through in the areas that he focused on and I honestly got a small nap 25 minutes or so. I definitely recommend him. I know it isn’t easy to find a great Massage Therapist but I highly recommend this guy he knows what he’s doing and saying.The spouse had a female therapist, he said he didn’t catch her name. He said she had strong hands and did a really good job on the areas he wanted.Bathroom is clean, massage rooms are clean and the location is great for midtown. Upon arriving we were asked to wear masks in the lobby and in hallways; you can take them off in the massage room. They immediately ask you to sanitize your hands and take your temperature. They ask you CDC guideline questions about your health and your on your way to relaxing. This was my first time to this location and with these therapists. We’ve been MH members for 8+ years. We do not get paid for reviews nor do we submit reviews for any other reason than to share our experience. Hope this was helpful.

I go to this location (which is way out of my way) just for the depth of the massage therapists they have. If I show up on a day where Caitlyn isnt available or had to go home there are at least two other therapists that can give me the same amount of pressure I like and I dont have to worry. The location is clean, the front desk staff are great and the owner is a fantastic person who I just want to hug every time I see her. They make my experience top notch.... Id give it 6 stars if I could.

My massage yesterday was extremely helpful! It was my first time getting a massage since the COVID pandemic. And as a result, I had a lot of tightness and soreness. Thankfully, my therapist got most of the knots out.As far as precaution, I felt safe. My temperature was taken and I had to complete a brief COVID questionnaire. I wore double masks (masking was optional) and my massage therapist also had his mask on.I recommend Massage Heights in Midtown, and also recommend Miguel!

Reggie at this location is AMAZING. He has a very healing touch and he was really good at addressing the issues we spoke about during our consultation. He also stretched me out really well which also helped address the issues we talked about during our consultation. If he asks if you want to do the stretches, DO IT!!! He does an amazing sports massage.

I am livid. They charge for a membership every month for a massage and if you miss your appointment they take that credit. In June, I missed my appointment due to having to go out of town for my mother who had an emergency appointment at her doctor for health issues. Typically I get a reminder call and this time I didnt. When they called me I told them they could take my June credit. However, it was to my surprise this morning when I saw they charged me $59.99 for July and then $60 extra. When I called to ask they said it was for the masseuse for missing my June session. NO ONE TOLD ME THIS. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND WILL BE CANCELLING MY MEMBERSHIP. SCANDALOUS MASSAGE PLACE.Wanted to do zero stars.

My membership started out great but as time went on, Ive regretted signing up. I started my membership when I was working in the oilfield. As business picked up on my end, it became increasingly difficult to utilize my membership with Massage Heights Midtown. I called to cancel my membership and they told me that I couldnt because I signed for a year. Fair enough. I honored our contract. After I paid for the year. I called to cancel and that is when everything went off the rails. They informed me that I was only able to cancel but I could freeze my account. If I were to cancel, I would lose all the hours I accumulated over the year. So, I froze my account. Then covid happened. While they were closed and couldnt service patrons, I was charged through this pandemic and I am still being charged. I called to cancel my account again and I was told the same thing. I said that I still wanted to cancel and they again offered to freeze my account but for two months this time. I forgot to mention, Im not able to transfer or use my accumulated hours with anyone else. After getting off the phone this past week and letting them know I didnt want to be charged again, they charged me again. The only reason that I gave them 2 stars is because, the therapists there are amazing when I was able to go but they really need to reevaluate how the operate when it comes to customer service. I truly hope that they figure it out because they would most likely put other places out of business because of how great their therapists are. That is all.

I had a massage with Claudine a few days ago. She is amazing. I walked in with a lot of pain in my neck and she honed in on my pain and released my neck muscles. She is very knowledgeable and knows how to ease into a very deep therapeutic massage. Its been a few days and I still feel much better than before. Im going back next week!

My masseuse was excellent! The owner was unhelpful and refused to speak to me. I was in an auto accident. The other driver was at fault. After going through physical therapy I decided to go to massage therapy. When it was time to obtain the information that my insurance company needed to reimburse me, the manager told me that the owner wouldnt give me the information that I needed. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that she wouldnt speak with me. I asked if I had left the number of the insurance company if she would call to provide them with the information that was needed. I was turned down flat. That was rude and disconcerting. I was totally calm and professional in all of my dealings with them and in the end all they wanted was my money. I no longer support this location and owner. I will take my money and business elsewhere where I am appreciated as a customer.

I had a great massage with Areli today. I informed her I was having some muscle spasms and tightness in my neck and shoulders. Her massage technique was slow and steady and she paid attention to all of the areas in my body that needed focus. She communicated with me to make sure that the pressure wasnt too firm and that I was comfortable. I could have stayed on the table longer! She is great and I truly going to Massage Heights Midtown!

Good massages but no flexibility with there scheduling or consideration for their members which is a serious negative I my opinion. I had the recurring membership for years but after several poor treatments Ive decided to terminate all business with them. They are geared to take advantage of their clientele through fine print criteria.... customer beware.

I booked two maternity massages. One for me and one for my friend. I wasn’t able to book a 120 minute massage for her at the same time as me, so that day I called to see if I could get mine switched for 60 minutes instead, I was assured over the phone it was switched. Well once me and my friend arrived we where notified that MY appointment had been cancelled instead of switched and no one tried to accommodate us in ANY way, even after I showed the manager my confirmations through email for BOTH massages. This was a MAJOR inconvenience for me & my friend because we had set time aside from work for this girls day. They offered us a later time in the day and that was it. I ended up cancelling the appointment and I will NEVER book with massage heights again. Very unprofessional staff and very unapologetic for wasting me and my friends time and patience. Instead of admitting it wasn’t switched but deleted the manager said it wAs a “glitch” in the system. Please in the future train staff how to handle situations better than this.

Was dealing with lower back pain for weeks. Decided to finally try massage to see if things would get better. So, glad I did! Got a massage from Denise at the midtown location and literally eliminated the on-going pain in a single session. She was way more attentive than any therapist Ive used in the past. Highly recommended.

My therapist, Angie, used some techniques Id never experienced before to work out my travel tension and relax me. She was professional and dedicated to making my experience what I needed it to be. I have been a Massage Heights member for 6+ years, and going to the Midtown location for 3 years. Caitlyn has been my go to therapist for over two years. Her schedule fills up quick, but understandably so given her talent! She is very keen on the needs of her clients and will recommend other therapists within the Massage Heights team if they may be better suited to specific work that you need. For a few months when I was in need of muscle work as well as deep tissue and relaxation she recommended that I see Anwar also. I rotated them every other week, and had great progress! I was pleased to hear Anwar returned recently.The front desk staff is great. They know my vehicle and have me checked in before I even walk through the door sometimes. They are pleasant and respectful. They have gone out of their way to accommodate my service animal, such as putting us in a larger room when available.The whole team there works to make sure guests have a positive experience, from a cheerful Hello/Welcome when walking in the door to have a great day, see you next time as leaving.

My calves and quads were tight the day after a soccer tournament, so I went to get a massage to help my body recover. My massage therapist Ryan was awesome. Ryan was easygoing and very good at gradually stretching me - he even distracted me with stories when working out muscle knots!

I was early to my appointment and my therapist was late therefore I didn’t get massaged a fullHour. My bed was freezing cold and so was the room. I told my therapist I wanted light to mediumPressure. She gave me a deepTissue and every time I was ask for her to ease up she wouldn’t listen. It hurt so bad I almost screamed a few times and cried. I will NEVER GO BACK HERE. WORST $100 spent ever. Trying to relax not cry from pain.

My appointment times keep getting messed up, even though I am booking with their online system. It is unprofessional and really annoying. One minute I am looking forward to a relaxing massage, and the next I find out I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment. I end up with no massage to look forward to, and a really rotten mood to go with it. No thanks!

Used them for a year, usually with Terrence (incredible!). I will say that when you cancel your membership, make sure you use your remaining credits within 90 days! I recently had the best massage Ive had in a long time by Ryan. He really worked everything out and spent a good amount of time getting all the knots out of my neck. Most massage therapists avoid this area even after I tell them its my problem area. I felt fantastic after this massage.

I came in because I had been having some sore spots in my neck and shoulders. I am on my feet most the day for work so to be honest my whole body hurt. Denise was amazing!!! She took the time to ask me what I needed, and at the end of the session I felt like a million bucks!! She is definitely a keeper, and I will be asking for her next time. The massage was fine. I did not, however, like being immediately confronted with a sales pitch as soon as I walked out. I get that they want your business and they want you to commit to a membership. The lady at the front said she talked to my therapist and he recommended coming in more often for my lower back. I dont think he actually said that...I didnt even mention anything about my lower back. If you dont sign up for a membership before you leave, you have to pay $40 to become a member. Thats all great, but cant I just enjoy my relaxed state for like two seconds. Also, I filled out paperwork as soon as I got there and put check marks in the boxes next to body parts that it is ok to touch. When I got in the room, the therapist asked me to do the same exact thing again. I didnt understand needing to do that twice.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE.My appointment on several occasions were cancelled on the spot due to last minute call ins. Frustrated I request to have my membership cancel due to poor service but management refused because I was under contract for a year. Fast forward 8 months later with 8 credits, I called to have my membership cancel. Each time I am told the manager is not in but I can expect a call later during the week. I called twice a week, and 5 weeks went by- not a single call from so called manager. The lack of follow up to a customer request makes this management team, if you can even call it that, a laughing joke. They make it extremely difficult for you to cancel you membership. A request won’t suffice, as the elusive cancellation form needs to come from a manager. I am still waiting on mine. Don’t waste your time and money here unless you want an establishment who is only after your money and not service.

I got a massage from Ryan last week and it was great. My neck and shoulders tend to tense up often but he really helped with all the stiffness in my upper back. The girls that work the front desk are very helpful and kind.

Gloria was an amazing an caring therapist with great knowledge about relieving tension without working deep. Her pressure was on the lighter side however, major results are noticed almost instantaniously. She is very sweet Ill return to see her again very soon. I recommend her to anyone who prefers to have upper neck and relaxations type work.

They are you flexible with scheduling. I even got lost on my way to my schedule message. They where so understanding and Denise my therapist made it all my stress melt away. I felt like a new person.

I can’t stress how disappointed I am with Massage Heights. I called to cancel my membership in the summer of 2018. My understanding was I was no longer being charged the monthly fee. They called me in December to try to schedule a massage, where I was told that I had unknowingly paid for 6 months of massages. I talked to someone higher up, who refused to give me my $300 back, even though it was their mistake. They gave me three months to use the massages, but at this point I hate this place so much that I have no desire to go back, and it would not be a relaxing experience. Their business practices are incredibly unethical. Don’t subscribe to the monthly massages! It’s a trap!

I have been going to Message Heights with Denise for about a year. Denise always ask what my target areas are and spend the majority of time working them out. Her deep tissue massage works so well for me as an active runner. I schedule about every 2 or 3 weeks. She is very professional and experienced.

Reggie was wonderful! He addressed all my areas of concern and there were quite a few since I work out daily, kickbox, and golf. I left very relaxed. I definitely will book again with him! Thank you so much!

As a rugby player, I needed someone who really understood the muscles in the body. After trying different therapists I finally found Denise. Before every session she will go over what my problem areas are and then focuses on them. It also helps that she know deep tissue as well. If you are like me and find your self looking around, look no further, Denise is the therapist you need.

Please book your appointment with Terrence! In an hour he made me feel like a new person. I was having trouble with my neck and shoulders. He talked to me about how to prevent further damage. Reggie is fabuloussss! He is not only very skilled with his hands, but he is also extremely knowledgable and isnt afraid to explain the anatomy and physiology facets. I went in thinking that I had sciatic nerve issues and left with a completely different understanding of what was going on with my muscles and pressure points. Reggie is simply the truth!!!!!!! He is one of the most gifted therapists Ive ever encountered.For the last few months Id been feeling a little off. Im used to feeling a little stressed and a monthly message usually gets rid of the resulting tension in my neck and shoulders. However this was different. I was just edgy and anxious all the time. When I mentioned this to a fiend - she told me shed noticed my energy seemed all over the place and suggested scheduling a Reiki session. I admit I was a bit skeptical. I gave her the side eye and told her I wasnt paying my hard earned money for anyone to wave their hands over me. After schooling me about energy work, she ordered me to see Reggie at this location. From the moment I met him, Reggie s presence had a calming effect on my frayed nerves. His technique incorporated Reiki with Swedish massage. Although I almost never talk during a session, this time I felt compelled to ask a few questions. He answered me and in turn, questioned me when he encountered areas that were extremely sensitive. As the minutes ticked by, I felt the tension melt away. By the time it was over I felt as if much of the anxiety Id been carrying around had been released. I have been so peaceful since walking out of that room. My experience with Reggie made me a believer in energy work. Ask for Ryan B!Ryan Burkhart is a masterful therapist with a kind heart and gentle touch when needed. While being very communicative, he also has an intuitive, dare I say, almost psychic ability to apply just the right pressure your body needs. His skill as a masseur and his mastery of technique is only matched by his worth and compassion. In addition to working on me, he also worked on my Mother in the last few days of her battle with cancer. Working on such a frail body presents a unique set of challenges that Ryan easily bested, bringing her some degree of comfort. Though, to be fair, she did still die so hence, only 4 Stars.

The front desk was friendly and helpful enough, but what set this place apart was my therapist Denise. She listened to my needs and addressed my IT band issues as well as my sore hamstrings. I will definitely be coming back.

I had a wonderful treatment from Reggie Wright,I was refreshed and refined. From my neck all the way down to my toes. I tend to feel light as a feather. Let me start by saying that I have a lot of tension in my lower back and shoulders, I was involved in a major accident last year which affected my left leg and left side and a few weeks ago I was in a car crash, someone t-boned the left side of my car which left my left side which was already in pain...and it made it worst.I have seen various therapist which have helped me with my problem, all of them were amazing! Props to the owner who hires the BEST therapists in Houston.So here is each therapist Ive seen with their techniques:Christian- gives a very spa like relaxation massage, he can help work out your knots and make you fall asleep all at the same! He gives a great medium pressure deep tissue! His massage is very different, deep tissue yet relaxing you must give him a try!!!Johnny- wow! Just wow!! His pressure is very firm! He has a long stroke technique which really helps your back,leg and glutes. Very detailed back work!!! He will release your muscles to such a deep extend which you will feel immediately!Olga- she is very knowledgable!! She can give a very firm pressure but knows when to hold back, extremely detailed neck work. She has a different technique where she puts you on the side and that releases all of your muscles. If you have any major issues like I do, go to her!Tricia- her pressure is to die for! she can give a great firm pressure without leaving you in pain. Not only is her back massage amazing but She has such a great personality which will make you feel very comfortable and welcome!Dan- he has a great firm pressure!! Gives an excellent detailed neck work, arm and hand work as well as legs!!! If you need help with those areas he is your go to guy! He will leave you feeling very relieved!Pedro- WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! His pressure, he can give the best firm pressure, his technique of releasing your mid back, shoulders will be painful as he does it but after he is done you will feel at your best. He gives such a great neck, scalp work and includes a little face relaxation to end your massage with and will leave you extremely content!!!!Each of them have their own technique, different pressures, but with whichever you go to with whatever area you need they will help you and you will leave happy and a new person!Now, lets talk about the ambiance- the music is great which as soon as you walk in you will start feeling relax, it is a very pretty retreat.The front desk is very friendly, welcoming and can always help you with any questions, retail, booking!!! My one and only massage therapist here is Heike (Hyka)! Ask for her, because shes the best massage therapist Ive ever had. Shes German, Sweet, and Strong. I prefer deep tissue massages, and she does a great job getting those pesky knots, but she also has such a great technique that she can target areas that need a more gentle touch.

Been a member a year and half, and had credit that I hadn’t used. Told them I’d update card when I went in. I schedule a 90 min massage as a Fathers Day treat to myself. When I went in I was told my appointment was canceled. Very upsetting on how they would treat a customer that A. Has credit w them and B that been w them a while. It’s either poor management or poor under writing on how to do business.Danny E

Received a 90 minute custonized massage from Reggie that was absolutely AMAZING! Not only was Reggie extreemly friendly & professional, he was able to address the areas of muscle tension & pain. The front desk staff here is equally clueless as the other Houston location. The chain’s payment structure is such that they will do anything to lock you in. Why does a manager need to be around to perform cancellations? When we cancelled our disaster of a membership the manager - who we had to drive here to see - stayed in the back room and ignored us. She put no effort into fixing the situation and lied about leaving voicemails. Now that we’ve spent hours trying to cancel I’m so glad we’re finally done. I can’t warn you enough - don’t do business here.

DO NOT GO HERE! They switched my credit card with someone elses and charged my card WITHOUT my authorization for months. When I caught it and called them, they refused to refund me the total amount and refused to admit that it was their fault. This is a subscription based company that could care less if you actually come in, they want you to sign up and forget about it so you can be their cash cow....except I didnt even sign up for it! Thanks for one mediocre massage and then charging my account without my consent.

This was actually my first massage! I was scared a little at first and didnt know what to expect. But as the massage began my mind clearly changed ive should have been getting massages my therapist Ron was professional and knowledgeable as to what areas needed to be worked to fix the problem at hand. I have had several massages at your location that were ok but I had one last night that turned out badly. The pressure seemed a bit heavy-handed but I felt ok when I left. Then I woke up in the night with pain and extreme soreness in my shoulder/upper back area. I only came in for a relaxing masssge—not for any specific problem. Now, I am icing sore areas. I am very disappointed to have this result. I will be sure in the future to tell the masseuse to be more careful.

I had my first massage today with Anwar. He has great knowledge of how to relieve pain from muscle tension. He explains what he is doing and why. we talked though activities that would be causing the problem and ways to prevent further stress or injury. I feel like a new person.I have found this kind of knowledge very common with this location. The therapists listen and work with you giving you exactly the kind of massage you need.

Im normally get massages to work specific trouble areas. Some people give those areas maybe an extra minute or two, but Ryan did an AMAZING job working out my trouble areas and knots. I felt like whipped butter afterwards. I would absolutely visit again.

Ron does a great deep tissue massage. He plays close attention to areas on me that need cause discomfort and really works out the knots. He also incorporates a lot of stretching into his massage which really helps tight and stiff muscles.
