I tried to call the nail salon first to get a better idea on why someone would do this to my feet. I was told by manager to go to doctor if I felt I needed it because they have insurance. He added that the woman who did my toes has been doing it for over 20 years and had her own nail shop. No solutions or apologies just the doctor suggestion.As you guys can see my toes are bleeding and infection is taking place after 6 hours of service. I particularly don’t like to write bad reviews unless I’m in need of and help others as per making better decisions on finding better services and customer service.I don’t need to say much as the pictures speaks volumes. I didn’t ask for my money back nor was I able to speak much as the manager Interrupted me and gave me no options but the 2 above on first paragraph.The money is not an issue at all, the goal was to acknowledge the incident and give suggestions or even a simple apology. Terrible work, service & experience.I had to come back home from work yesterday and I’m taking 2 extra days off to allow proper healing.In summary WOW what a way to run a business….
I went in nye i got there round 3 i didn’t leave out til 6 the lady was having issues gluing the nail on i should have just stopped her then but i gave her a chance ! Next she put a different color than what i picked ! she massage only one leg ! She was rubbing the nail filer on my skin …my toes hurt so bad today because of that … she also was putting the machine nail thing on my skin making it bleed a lil she had to take the nail polish off 4x on one big toe my cost was $65 and i tipped 5 cause i tip ppl but i really was upset i told them i like a sharp square n they did any shape ! I only went cause i needed my toes done last min but i will never return
The nail spa is very very good. The front desk guy was so nice. The reason I am giving 3 star because the lady who did the nail, named Kelly ,was very rude. She took 1:40mins to made this. Stuffs should have to be polite. But though she did good nails. 1 nail was unfinished when I told her she wasnt expecting to fixing it. She said its ok.
It was my first time there and I’ll definitely be back. The employees were super nice and hospitality and my toes came out really cute. The prices were fair as well.
I had a disappointing experience at Cosmo Nail. My nails are naturally thin, and I expected the lady to thicken them before applying the polish. Unfortunately, she just went ahead with a single color without any reinforcement. This resulted in my nails bending whenever I picked up anything little heavy. Very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. I will never return to Cosmo Nail.
One of the only places I feel ugly leaving. I start a new job tomorrow and have to go get my eyebrows redone. This place has made me bleed during pedicures and depending on who does your manicure it hurts like hell. I’ve been here 4 times the first two times with Cathy were great but the past two times have been horrible. Better places on Holcombe less than 2 minutes away. AVOID THIS PLACE!

It was my first time going into Cosmo and Evelyn did my nails. She did an amazing job! She was very gentle and took her time making sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. She is so sweet. The management was very hands on and great as well. One of the first things I noticed was the shop was very clean and organized. I will definitely be going back! Great service!
Very clean and beautiful establishment. I was greeted shortly after I entered and offered beverages while I waited to be serviced. Nicole did my nails and her technique was very precise. She was also nice and she had a Tiffany Blue shellac manicure on her nails that I thought was very pretty. I like when techs have their nails done as well. The pricing wasn’t bad either. I’d gone to another shop the week prior and nails broke the same day,but one week later this set is still holding strong. I do plan to return.
Chloe is amazing and the only reason I came. She does amazing nails. However the prices are ridiculous......they add a charge for every little thing. Today I got charged because I got glitter powder instead of solid powder on one nail 😳😳And the deluxe pedicure is very basic.....they didnt even remove my dry skin, didnt wrap my legs just put the towel over them, and didnt put a warm towel on my neck that was described in the description.
Ok Yall I have found my new nail place! First off not only is the interior gorgeous and cleanly kept, everyone was super sweet from the moment I walked in. I got the #4p hot stone paraffin wax pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails... Let me just say Kevin gave me the BEST pedicure Ive ever had, and his massage is ON POINT! Christina did my nails and despite doing something new and completely out of my norm I LOVE them!! Both Kevin and Christina were super sweet and attentive to detail, they really made me feel comfortable and relaxed... Considering Im 9months pregnant thats a hard feat to accomplish... The 30% off special was just the cherry on top! I will definitely be back, and I will not hesitate to highly recommend this place!
I love this place! Ive been coming here for 4 years and Kim is my nail tech, she never misses a beat. The owner is amazing always very welcoming.
The service was wonderful. They offered mimosas and soft drinks and water. They had two people working on me at one time for my Pedi/Mani. The end result I wasn’t particularly fond of, but I wasn’t mad at it either. So when I go back I’ll make sure to fix that but other than that I will be back and it’s a great place to get your Pedi/ Mani done.
I got my nails done my Lam yesterday. He did suck a good job and had such good customer service.Actually all the male techs are great. Definitely my preference for manicures.
After giving them a 2nd chance, I was greatly disappointed and out of a lot of money. First, there was too much glue in my lashes and wrinkles in my polish. Week later, he offered a free new set after I asked for the lashes to be removed but charged full price because it was done by someone else. I left with lashes, which most of them fell out in a week and I have a stye. He recommended gel polish in my pedicure this time. One came off like a cap the next day, and others followed. 2 stars is only because I felt like they were inviting and nice, but a big waste of money.
So, I have patronized this business for about 1 1/2 years and I am bidding this nail shop goodbye. It was great and still is ok. However, they have quite a few new nail techs so everyone isn’t as good. Some are too rough, or my nails will be too thick or thin. Other times they aren’t lasting as long. Basically, the result is not as consistent as it used to be. Again, not the worst experience, justTime to move on sadly. They are competitively priced. The guys who used to do my nails are no longer there. This is a decent shop. Hopefully, they gain some additional consistency. I will miss them, but I require consistent service.

They take good care of you! I got a mani, pedi and lashes and never felt so relaxed at nail salon. The girl that did my nails did a immaculate job. The woman who did my feet was a literal Angel, she massaged my legs and I was in heaven. I’m on my feet all day so that helped alot. & the girl who did my lashes was so sweet! She took her time and they came out so beautiful! Just an overall great experience for my birthday week, I will be returning soon 😊
I do my nails and lashes here. Really like how they work. Miss Carly a lot. Hope to see her soon. Went back to remove my lashes and they wanted to charge $20 for a few maybe 5 lashes in each eye. I just didnt want to pull them and damage my eyelids. This place used to be very nice. Not going back there. Carly was very nice and professional.
Evelyn was great, she takes her time to make sure all looks good. She doesn’t rush and cares about her clients. This was my first time and I Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back next time :))
I am not sure if I just ended up with a bad nail tech or what the issue was but my nails were not even worth $65. My left hand nails are longer than my right. I chose to get ombré (it is my go too) I was told it was $60 not 65? Even the ombré on a couple of my fingers is messed up. (hence the ring finger) How can someone mess that up? i hate to be nasty about it but if i am paying $65 the least they could do is make sure ALL 10 nails are the same length. Now this is my first time here and most certainly my last. i will not disclose her name but i will say she really needs more practice.
They do okay work but they use cheap products. Other salons Ive gotten dipped they always last 3-4 weeks. 10 days later from cosmo whole nails started coming off. No pain, just popped off. Thats how I know theyre cheap.
The staff was extremely friendly. My fiancé got a pedicure and I got a pedicure and fill with gel polish. His pedicure was great. However, my person was too rough. I kept saying ouch and she was looking annoyed lol I told her it hurt and she said I was too sensitive. I’ve been getting my feet done for 20 years. The nail tech was trying to do a rush job and I kept making my nails crooked I literally had to have her fix 8/10. Overall I think if they take their time it would get better.
First time here and I got Alex. He is extremely sweet and very observant! If I was a local I would be going to him often! I got the #4 hot stone and paraffin wax pedicure and it was amazing! If my job allowed me getting my nails done I would get dip from him too. I highly recommend. The place is beautiful and the staff are friendly.
It’s absolutely STUNNING in here! Saw the sign offering 20% off and decided to make pedicure appts. for my husband and I. He got his first pedicure and did GREAT! His technician was Harley and mine was Julie. They both did a FABULOUS job! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This nail salon wants to charge 5 star prices for 1 star service. I’ve been coming here for over 3years but recently most of the staff has changed and there is different management. Customer Service and Quality is not the same at all. I will not be returning after tonight.
Visiting from out of town, my friend from Houston chose this salon, it was both our first time at the salon. We both really liked it- it was a spacious and clean salon. The nail technicians did a good job and took their time. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was not busy. Owner was nice too.
Excellent service all the way around. The prices are very good and the salon has a very relaxing vibe. I dealt with Kevin and Jane (I think). They did a great job making me feel extremely comfortable and keeping everything sterile and clean. This is my new found spot!
This place is as inconsistent as it gets. I would say they have just a handful of nail artists that are good enough (just 2 women who are always booked). I gave this place 5 tries because it’s closest to my house but I am never going back there again. I’ve tried regular polish, dip powder and gel and All my manicures are never neat enough, I always have to point out errors and get another person to restart. The pedicures are done better but it’s not worth the time and money wasted. Nothing special would not be returning and would not recommend.

Alex and Milan at Kirby Nail Spa are absolutely wonderful! Milan is so sweet and gave a wonderful, relaxing pedicure (best one I’ve received in a while). Alex is such a gentleman who is truly a perfectionist. He cares about the health of your nails and ensures he does it right the first time. Highly recommended!

My nail tech was Julie and she was so sweet and detail oriented. She didn’t rush through my redo of my dip nails. I am very happy with my service. Everyone was so nice. I’ve gone here several times because the location is convenient, but it is definitely a hit or miss when coming. I hated my powdered nails and acrylics are always crooked. They never put full polish on your nails.
They were perfectionists about my nails! I appreciate that so much because Im OCD about that. Also I have to mention that they stayed opened after house for ME because I told them Im a nurse and I get off late. Thank you accommodating me . The salon is very nice too!
I live in the area so coming here is convenient. I’m giving three stars because it is nice inside and depending on the person you get, depends on the service you get. I love Vivian! She does dip powder on my nails and does an awesome job; they last. I don’t recommend getting a pedicure here though. The pedis are rushed and not really that great - certainly not worth the cost. I’ve tried a couple times to get pedicures and each time I’ve left disappointed and wished I went somewhere else.
It was terrible. I sat over an hour waiting for them to start even though they said 20 minutes. Then she finally started to soak my nails which took another hour because she kept walking away. Finally another lady came and did my nails, she was moody and rude anytime I asked a question or tried to make conversation. My nails look like roller coasters now. They are not smooth and have weird dips in them. 10/10 I will not be back.
I’m giving three stars because I’ve been a patron of cosmo nails since they have opened. ( before they became cosmo)The facility is beautiful, and very clean! The staff is awesome, management is very sweet and completely hands on. I always come in for a mani pedi.And I will say they have consistently raised their prices but for quality work I understand.However, this Saturday I went in I got a simple mani pedi French tip. Gel on nails, regular polish on feet. (Like I always do.)On Sunday the gel polish on my nails had chipped and polish on my feet had chipped as well.I take care of my hands and feet. And am extremely careful. The mani pedi French tip I had on when I entered hadn’t even chipped and I had that polish on for 2 1/2 weeks ( I did go to a different salon for that particular set because I was out of town)In short, I’m just disappointed that I paid so much money for a service, and only enjoyed less than 24 hours of the products beauty before it chipped away.I’ve never had any issues with Cosmo before hand, this particular time though is simply disappointing.This is not to scare you away from the salon, but just a note to the staff for improvement.
They did an amazing job with the dip powder, I love the color! Price is very reasonable and the facility is big and beautiful and clean. Staff was super friendly throughout my visit. Its on the same street as where i live, so that will be my go-to spot from now! :)
Ive been comimg here for nearly three months because location is convenient. However, the service is very inconsistency and sometimes flat out rude. They make you complete a service form before you receive service. The quote you one price at the beginning and ALWAYS come up with more fees afterwards. Ive literally gotten the same color and design four time and been quoted three different prices. I informed the owner of the inconsistencies but it continued to happen. My final straw was waiting for 40mins for a nail repair. The shop was fairly empty but because I didnt have have an expensive service they made me wait while taking literally 5 before me despite the fact I was there before them. Im very unhappy with the way I was treated.
New place in the med center with great specials! I had the pedicure special with hot stones, oils, paraffin wax, scrub and more all for $48. You can enjoy your time drinking a glass of wine. The only thing was that I did feel a bit rushed. I recommend it. Nails came out nice

Dissatisfied with the service I received. I got a shellac polish change on my toes about a week ago, and a few days later the polish started coming off. To make matters worse I noticed that it caused one of my toe nails to crack. The last time I got a shellac manicure 6 of my nails cracked below my nail bed. It was such a horrible experience. I am definitely not going back here. Waste of time and money.
Loved the eyelash service. They lasted so much longer than my usual salon back home. The nail job was far superior to any I’ve had and the last at least three weeks instead of the two I usually am accustomed to. Would highly recommend. Very clean and very professional
This is a very attractive nail spa. I walked in without an appointment on a Friday morning and they took care of me right away. Everyone there was very congenial and helpful even if they struggled a bit with English. I really appreciated the attention to detail from both the manicurist and pedicurist who took care of me. I will come back here.
My daughter & I went for pedicures today. I bought myself the $30 pedicure but decided to upgrade and get my daughter the $40 pedicure so she could get the shoulder massage. She didnt receive the massage and when I told the technician she stated it wasnt included in the price...which is clearly stated it was. That was the whole reason we paid $10 more. Not very happy we didnt get what we paid for.
I came in for my lash fill appointment. Unfortunately, the young lady at the front desk had other ideas.After I was lying down in the lash room, she told me she would need to remove my scant remaining lash extensions before reapplying a whole new set. I reluctantly agreed. This has been the only place I have had my lashes done.The product she globbed into my lashes burned my eyes, especially my left eye. When she tried to use a squirt bottle to rinse the product off, it made it worse. I stood at the sink and rinsed my eyes out for 10 minutes to stop the burning. My eyes were completely bloodshot. They still wanted to apply new lashes which I declined.An older lady tried to check me out and requested $20 for the lash removal. I explained the situation and she argued with me until I made my point that I had not requested lash removal service and was injured as a result. She waived the fee.I immediately went home and took a shower to continue washing out my eyes.Now its five days later and I have developed an infection in my left eye. Today, I was diagnosed with preseptal cellulitis and was prescribed oral antibiotics.I guess the salon isnt as clean or the people as nice or professional as I had originally thought. Needless to say, cellulitis on my face around my eye is not the look I was going for. I will not be going back.---------Original post:Exceedingly clean salon! A friend who always has fabulous nails recommended this business to me and when the regular salon I frequent stopped taking reservations and had an hour wait to be seen, I went here instead with a friend after work. They did a great job on her dip nails. I had the celebrity arm massage treatment which was very nice with fresh grapefruit slices used to exfoliate my skin. They stayed late to finish my individual lash extensions and did a very nice job. The staff members were kind. Services were a great value and they use high quality products. They also offer complimetary beverages with your service!
I popped in yesterday to make a late evening appointment and from that moment I knew it was the right decision. I was immediately greeted by a super sweet lady and scheduled for later. I came back with an additional guest we were warmly greeted and welcomed in. We both requested the hot stone pedicure with 15 minute massage. INCREDIBLE!!! I also got my brows cleaned up. Minh took fantastic care of me from start to finish and was knowledgeable about my questions regarding microdermabrasion. I enjoyed the treatments/services/attention and the conversation wasn’t blah blah blah. It was a great experience and I will be going back for their wide variety of services. Their location is very convenient for me and we were in and out in a timely manner. It’s so nice to see a new business be so well put together and have well trained staff ready and enthusiastic to care for you. A huge thank you to the entire staff, especially Minh!!! Tiffany did an excellent job with my mani and pedi. Comfort, cleanliness, and great customer care are the pluses. Little details like water bottles and pillows for you, add to the experience. The atmosphere is one of calm. Color selections are plentiful as well.
I came here for the 2nd time because the quality of the work is pretty good. The only thing I really disliked about the service is the reason I stopped going to nail salons... the constant pressure to upsell. When I was greeted at the door, I was told that I should get a refill on my eyelashes because I needed it...even though I literally had them refilled at another business 5 minutes before I walked in. I was told that the pedicure I asked for didnt come with polish remover, although Ive had that service before WITH POLISH REMOVED. Before I left, I was told I needed a refill on my laahes, my nails, and needed my eyebrows waxed. I probably wont return because of this.
Went for a pedicure and the tech burnt my feet, my son in law sitting next to me could see the steam in the water as I tried to step out of the tub screaming. You would think the business owner as she watched me trying to keep from getting third-degree burns would step in and apologize, but did she NO..worst place ever. Consumers dont spend your hard earned money at the establishment.
A year ago, I used to be very happy with the pedicure services I had here. But recently I had a pedicure and finger nail polish; these were disaster. The polish fell off from my fingers! And one of my toe nails has bumps that tore off my socks.
The prices for the services are average but the services themselves really arent that good, I received a very lackluster 50 dollar pedicure which included a hot stone massage that was maybe 3 minutes (15 minutes where?) and the nail tech seemed very annoyed and irritated. Their equipment is cheap, the uv drier kept malfunctioning and i was blamed for moving even though I was as still as ever, lets be serious, Ive coughed during a drying session at other shops and the devices never malfunctioned, get better equipment!!! The chairs are not for tall people, my knees were in pain. My shellac job is bad, tips of my toenails arent even painted, and now my nails are splitting. The basic mani is good and was done by a different tech, he cleaned my nails up nicely. Maybe i just had a bad nail tech for my pedi, but its enough for me not to return. The place is pretty but...thats all there is...
Went there for their Grand Opening event (got 30% off all services). I would definitely pay the regular price for one of their pedicures. New equipment and chairs cause for an exceptional service experience (hope they keep it up)! 4 stars because their nail services seem a BITTTTT overpriced for a “non trendy” set of nails - but that’s Houston’s nail scene for you.
I have waited for more than 45 mins and there was nobody who came to assist me. They asked me to sit and nobody cared to do the pedicure. Never going to come again to this place
Every single nail is slanted and uneven. I wanted them square and none are straight or match with the corresponding nail. Worst acrylic nails Ive ever had. Only giving 2 stars because my pedicure was great.

My cuticlea were cut too much, even after I asked her not to. The simple design I wanted they couldnt do. I only had this one opportunity to get my nails done before a big event. I wanted gel, colors, and designs i was promised the artist could do (a feather on each nail). I left with a nude color that i couldve done at home. Very disappointed and wont be back.
Absolutely horrible service... I came in and spent over 200 dollars in services for myself and a friend and tipped 60 dollars to two people & my nail was broken in 3 days and the eyebrow tinting I paid for was faded in a few days and I was told it should last 4-6 weeks.. I came back to get the nail that i paid for FIXED and was still going to pay.... the man who was doing my nails asked me how the nail looked and I replied “it’s a little crooked” and he got up and walked off and said somebody else needs to do my nails.... WHAT?!? How could you have such horrible customer service?! I am at a loss for words! I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE!

Terrible experience, nail was cut so deep that I was bleeding. Tech didn’t paint my full nail and then when I pointed it out I was dismissed like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Front desk was nice but I will never return to this establishment.

I went giving it a chance since I work close by but I was not happy with the results. I went in asking for a green color and I walked out with yellow. I couldnt say much since I was on my break but when i got back to work I was able to look at my nails and they were so bad. After work I went back and they fixed my nails . Will be going back to my nail shop from now on.
Went in to get a pedicure and manicure wasn’t even greeted and I called before to make a reservation and they told me I didn’t have to wait when u got there. I got there and they made me wait 15 minutes to get someone and were very rude to me. Then once I got sat on a chair they made me wait for another person to come.Was extremely mad at this and I walked out. Will never come here again

I was very disappointed. I spent 150 on my nails and feet, to end up with a paint job my kids could have done, and an infection in one of my nail beds, that required antibiotics and I had to remove the fingernail. When I called to inform them of the issues I had, they offered to pay for the neosporin I bought... terrible experience!!

Staff is friendly place is clean but they are overpriced and everytime I visit (I live right down the street) it appears that there is a segregated room. Notice they never take black people to the right pedi chairs ever only to the left. Just an observation!
I thought I found my 1 stop shop, online l booked a massage, a charcoal and gel pedi, a regular mani and a Brazilian. 1st came in and tried to get an answer to what is included in spa day because theres no description online. 2nd I didnt get to choose the order of my treatments. My massage was great, undoubtedly had it been last and not 1st this would probably be a 3. 3rd I started at 11a and ended at 4p mostly because no one informed the nail techs I was getting a mani too and had to wait 30 min b4 my pedi and 10 min between pedi and mani. My mani was rushed and my pedi was devine until I realized at home my french tip was messed up. Thinking I bumped my toe I touched it to find the tip color peeling off. 4th the waxer has no or little experience below the waste. I wanted a Brazilian and when I say I just didnt want her to try and fix it because she went over areas at least twice and I didnt want to get rub rash. She left hair that even a basic bikini wax wouldve been too much. Ill go back for a massage and maybe a basic pedicure.
Constant ownership and management makes for inconsistent service. I’ve complained a couple times about the results of my nail color to no avail. The male manager was not understanding and tried to disregard my complaint. I will be looking for another salon to commit to.

Pam is great! Best shellac manicure I’ve had, but pedicure not so great and massage chair broken.
The guy that did my nails was pretty rude and when I asked him what was wrong he just rolled his eyes and laughed. My polish on my toe nails isnt fully done either on the tips
Pedicure was ok. Lady was FaceTiming the whole time with screen pointing towards my feet which was super unsettling.
Foot scrubbing is not including with a pedicure you have to be $5 extra with is ridiculous. This is my first time here and I will not be back.
