Beautiful and modern salon. Angie and Mindy did a terrific job on our gel manicures, were careful, gentle and efficient. Super clean bathroom. Lots of color choices. No complaints at all. I recommend this salon.

Customer service is top tier. I was referred by a friend that gets their lashes done by Amy. I have been on 2 occasions within the last week.Had my eyelashes (individually done for the first time). Amy DID AN AMAZING JOB!!! I couldn’t love them more and they are very natural looking. I’ve had serval compliments just in a day of getting them done.My nail tech was Angie and she gave me the exact look that I wanted and she was very friendly & kind.I will return for more services that are offered( there’s a variety of services offered) and will refer more people to this wonderful establishment.

My recent visit was not up to par. Jessie was very rushy and rough while doing my nails, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Additionally, she turned off my massage chair early, charged me for my nails, and left my hands dirty. Lee did my feet, but she didnt listen when I asked for more pink on my toes and didnt provide the waxing service I wanted. I paid $76 for a $50 job, and while I paid $86 for my feet, Im not sure it was worth it. Despite this, Lee did an amazing job on my toes and made the experience better. However, I will not be returning if Jessie is the one doing my nails. Her energy was off, and it seemed like she was having a bad day.

Wonderful experience with Ms. Lee for pedicure and Angie on nails very sweet, kind, caring. I had very dry skin and Ms. Lee made my feet and skin brand new she made me confident again with after care advice I will be grateful for. I had complimentary drinks as well so 10stars if I could. Angie did an overlay on my empty nail and I feel so happy to look normal again.

Edit to add on 05/26/24, on this day, my husband and I visited this salon again after our our initial visit below, as we both agreed we enjoyed the salon during our initial visit. We had the pleasure of meeting Ben and Kim this visit. Ben and Kim both went above and beyond during this visit. Please keep in mind that the initial visit was with MY and we did not know the name of the staff that assisted my husband with his manicure. We are very pleased with the service the second time around, as well as the upkeep of the salon. We are both on the same page when it comes to making this our permanent salon moving forward. In addition to the amazing service, they’re currently offering a promotion for posting a review. I showed them I left a review on my last visit and they honored the free alcoholic lemon drop beverage that Is currently being promoted. I edited the photos to add the photos of my nails this trip (blue tips with silver design) and the lemon drop beverage that was provided to us as an essentive for leaving our last review, which we had no idea about. It should be noted that I’m very particular about my nails and I left very pleased both of the visits. Thank you to the staff and we plan on coming back soon for our bi-weekly nail upkeep.Today I found this nail salon on google, as I was really interested in finding a nice and better nail salon in my area. This salon isn’t relatively closer than my home, but I decided to make the 40 minute drive anyhow. I’m glad I did, since I was greeted with great service and a friendly, talented, and positive nail tech, MY. MY was amazing and I will be returning to see her again for my nails, as well as return for my pedicures with the gentlemen, Peter. My husband was happy with his pedicure and manicure as well, but unfortunately, we didn’t catch the name of the friendly tech that provided him with the service. We are hoping to see her again next time we visit the salon and we will be asking for her name to continue services with her as well. Thank you again to MY and Peter! They have top tier customer service and work. =)

Amy and Lee did an amazing job on my full set of nails and best pedicure of my life!!! I was celebrating my 40th bday and they treated me like a Queen!!! Lux experience every time I come!

I happened to be in the area and decided to get my nails done last minute. The wait for walk-in was around 15 minutes which was impressively quick for how busy it was. MY did this pink and white ombre on my real short nails and I AM IN LOVE!! MY is very experienced, efficient, and careful since I have thin cuticles, but it was not painful at all. And look how thin it is sideways! no bulk no mess. Definitely a 10/10 first time experience :)

Walked in with a party of 4 at 6:30 and was quickly seated and started after sign in. My pedicure was done by Janet, my wife’s was done by Lee, my daughter’s was Mary and my friend got a full set done by Mint.Although Lee was very heavy on the up selling her work is great and detailed.Janet was very pleasing and gave the best leg and foot massage and nail shaping was amazing.Mary listened to the things that I did and didn’t want done to my daughter’s feet and did so without any attitude.1 complimentary drink was given per customerand even with a party of 4 our total was very AFFORDABLELadies & Men don’t walk RUN HERE and get this work It’s so beautiful in here

Steven did such, but such an amazing job! I’m so happy with my nails!!! Tammy did my toes, and it was so nice to finally have someone understand the assignment! Antoine was so welcoming, and attentive. Thank you Lux staff! Y’all have earned a new loyal customer 💕

I got my nails on the 28, they’re supposed to last 3-4 weeks the next day 3 fell off I went back and they tried to fix them except the girl that did them originally wasn’t there so they couldn’t figure out what color was my nails they found something pretty similar so I said okay then 2 days later two more fell off. Iwent they fix them, again a different person so now my nails are 3 different colors Monday morning I had 2 more fall off. So total I lost 8 nails. The repair that were done were trash since my nails are 3 different colors!!! Do not get gel x at this place they have no idea what they are doing!!! There’s no reason why I should have to go up to this place 3 times in one week! I paid $120 total rip off

I have been coming here for YEARS! And I’ve always loved my nails!! They last long and the quality is unmatched. I moved to the other side of town and the drive back is always worth it.Suri always gives me exactly what I ask for!Tammy on the pedicure.

From the time I walked in everyone was very friendly and I received service within minutes as a walk - in on New Year’s Eve weekend.I got a jello pedicure for the first time and David did a great job. He was very attentive and thorough and walked me through how to swoosh my feet around to enhance the experience. I also received great waxing services. I might also mention that this place is super cute and lives up to the lux name.HOWEVER, THE GEL POLISH ON MY TOES WAS CHIPPED THE NEXT DAY ON NEW YEARS EVE, THEY WERE CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAY AND I DON’T LIVE IN THE AREA SO I COULDN’T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE 10 DAY GUARANTEE WHICH IS WHY THEY ONLY GET 3 STARS

I’ve been a long time supporter/client of Lux Nails and I’ve encountered some good experiences and some not so favorable situations that I’ve swept under the rug. The unfavorable outweigh the good which is why I’ve delayed leaving a review because Antoine has asked me multiple times to do so; well well here you go…I understand mistakes occur but from a managerial standpoint you want to maintain good quality clients who have supported your business. I’m a business owner myself so I understand that wholeheartedly. Today I was cut and I was told I’d have to pay full price regardless of my pain. It’s not the money but more so the lack of awareness and principle. This cut isn’t a small nic so if it happens to get worse then they’ll have a bigger issue. I’m Completely disappointed with the lack of proper care from a professional standpoint! The front desk didn’t know how to handle the situation properly and even Antoine who happens to be the manager/owner didn’t say much or care to address the situation like a manager/owner should. All the quality nail techs have left and now I see why. I honestly stayed longer than I wanted too based off of Linda (temp leave), Janet (still there), Tee (recently left), Gigi (left 2020) , Lindsay (left yrs ago)! Don’t run a business if you have a dismissive attitude! They’ve lost a longtime good paying client today. They’ve given me 10% off for them running late to service me for a scheduled appointment but I was actually injured and paid full price….make it make sense!

I called to book an appointment the front desk staff was super nice and helpful! I had originally booked for a removal and a full set. My nail technician decided to literally lift the acrylic off my natural nail bed I mention that it hurt and she still kept going. I mentioned that usually when they remove the acrylic it’s a soak off and they don’t literally rip them off. She seemed to get annoyed which i understand and i do apologize, but my nails were super damaged with her “removal method” and I asked for a soak off. I told her that since my nails are super damaged I’m not getting the full set, she then proceeded to tell me that is because my nail bed is super thin. Clearly I got upset and showed her the difference between removal methods. This is how my nails look like now!

My and Tammy did amazing on my 40th birthday nails and pedicure. They were so nice and quick and really took the time to take care of my nails and toes. I had not been in to a salon and forever and they made me feel at home and that they really cared.

I came here multiple times before but I always got a solid color and I never had a problem But 3 days ago I went and I decided to get french tips and this is what I got. I’m sorry but This honestly looks like a child did it. if I wasn’t late for work I would’ve stayed and told her to take it all off!. It’s not worth the 75$ at all. Very disappointed.

Cindy was an amazing pedicure masseuse and took her time repairing my worn out feet. I will definitely be seeing Lux Nail Spa for all my feet needs. Highly recommend them for your manicure and pedicures in the Houston area.

This place is great. My friends and I were visiting from out of town and they greeted us offering drinks complimentary and seated us immediately. Suri, Ben, Michelle, and Jesi did a fantastic job we all got gel pedis and full sets and were in an out in under 2 hours with no appt. Definitely will come back! The manager was nice as well and made sure we were happy with the service

Steven is my nail technician. I always go to Steven... He is attentive, direct, and honest, and he takes into account your preferences so you never have to repeat yourself. My nails last forever; with my last set, I had three refills and 2 powder color changes,before having to get a new set, and Ive never broken a nail with him as my stylist. #TEAMSTEVENFYI:They are budget friendly especially with pedicures .. but for the nails they are affordable but dont be picky if your on a budget lol

I went to Lux Nail Spa last week for a pedicure. First time customer, besides the liquor store style buzz entrance they had going on, it seemed fine. I was greeted and sat down. When my pedicurist handed me the pricing menu, she immediately got annoyed with me because I picked the basic pedicure at $30+. She insisted I get something else, after I was persistent with what I wanted, it went down hill from there. I felt rushed and her attitude with me was so unpleasant. I understand what I paid for, but courtesy should be given to all customers. I left disappointed with my service and treatment.

My did my nails, and David did my Pedicure and I’m so in love. Great atmosphere it felt very luxurious and upscale. I like very clean and natural looking nails and My did not disappoint!!!! Well be coming back and will be seeing both David and My again, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

I love coming to this nail shop. I’m from Atlanta and every time I come to Houston I come to this shop to get a Mani and Pedi. I was here this past Feb and the nail techs My and Phuong did such an amazing job I came back and requested them both. My did my nails and Phuong did my pedi. They were really attentive. I showed My a picture of what I wanted and she excited it perfectly. Thank you again for the wonderful service.

This place is a go to feel beautiful and get a peace of mind. I would like to start by thanking the owners for a memorable experience. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I love coming into a establishment where they greet their guest by name and build meaningful client relationships.I got my pedicure, beautiful lashes by queen Amy herself and the best nails by Henry.They were patient and thoughtful. I love being able to have an experience that was fulfilling. I brought my family to come back the next day and get serviced. This will be my forever spa in Houston.Thank you to the entire team for the upmost professionalism and family style spa.

They just get better and better!! It doesn’t matter what chair you sit in, or who will work on you because I’ve seen some great work from them all!! Staff is amazing the customer service is mind blowing. Never felt out of place here it’s beautiful as well inside just a great experience. Oh and they always have tons of space for walk ins no long wait no matter what time of day! Came in on a Friday after noon and still was seen quickly in and out less than an hour got three services lol they’re amazing I go nowhere else now 💕

Lux is the only nail place you want to be in Houston I live in Katy Tx and have been driving me and my Daughter here every 2 weeks for the last 15 years, he has been taking care us for the last past two years not to mention my workplace all of the ladies I love them. And Siri and Moon are awesome and the artwork to healthy nails , the customer service is awesome. It’s awesome time that you walk in the time you leave you enjoy your time and all of your services check them out won’t be disappointed.

Do not go here. It is not worth your time or energy. I have given this place many chances, and each time I am disappointed.Dip chips in < 1 week every single time.The 10 day warranty is just a waste of time because you’ll have to come back and wait > 30 mins to get the nail fixed.And yes I did try reaching out prior to posting and received no luck.

John got me alllll the way together and Ann snapped on my pedi beautiful place. They are hands on getting you in and out but they know their stuff I love it and will be coming back.Came back for my birthday on New Year’s Eve they were busy I didn’t have an appointment and was still serviced fast! I love coming to this salon and I recommend it to everyone I know. Ive been going here consistently for almost a year and their service never disappoints. This newer, bigger location is so gorgeous and the added bar area makes it feel like a one-stop shop to relax and receive wonderful nail services. Yesterday, I got the set photographed here and the tech, Eric, was so patient and really brought my ideas to life. Another tech I frequently book with is My and she is so fabulous and talented as well. The owners are so friendly and want everyone to have a great time.

Omg , This my first time here and it was totally amazing! Ruby did a great job on my nails and Na did an amazing job on my toes , I loved how my nails looked ! Very lovely and elegant .. First off I am a nail tech so I am picky. Amy accommodated us better than I ever expected. She found me a color to match my nails that were already done. The pedicure was the best I ever experienced. Micheal gave a great massage. It is my birthday tomorrow so I got the best pedicure available. The salon was very clean

I am recovering from knee surgery and cant reach my toes. Needles to say they were talons. I came to Lux Nail Salon and was treated so well. Kim was my technician and she was excellent! She took time to talk to me and get to know me and my needs. My talons are no longer talons, and my feet are as smooth as a babies butt! All the staff was kind and the place is immaculate! I highly recommend and make sure to ask for Kim!

I have been a client for this lovely place for about 3 years.. the remodel screams luxury as well as the friendly service makes you feel like you have been to heaven and back.. the managers it’s two are the very best at making you feel appreciated.. just when you come don’t take my spot with Ms.Kim .. the sweetest pedicure technician.. and yes I am her favorite ( she says she loves me ) .. all around this is the place to get you back in the game and ready for outside!!!! Lux Nail Salon has its ups and downs. The service is okay, but the skill level of the technicians can be hit or miss. Unfortunately, Ive had some negative experiences there but have also had some really good ones too. Ive been going here on and off for the past 10 years. The pricing is average, and the location is convenient for me since I live nearby, but it doesnt offer anything particularly special. The pedicure services can be quite nice but again it depends on the technician.On the upside, the new location is quite nice, and very clean, although it tends to get really busy. To avoid the crowds and get a better service, its best to visit during off-peak times. Quality can suffer when its packed.

I went here for the first time. Its located near my work office and I have been looking for a new place in the area that offers good service at a great price, and I have to say, Im about to be a regular customer here. Outside of nail services they have a med spa and other cool service that I am looking forward to utilizing.

The nail spa is beautiful. The massage chairs are powerful and does a great job. The bathroom is huge and fancy.The owners and staff are attentive, friendly, and accommodating.I definitely recommend this business.

Thank you Heidi!!!! I came to Lux Nail Spa for the first time this past weekend. Two of my natural nails were broken after a poorly done gel manicure at another salon. Heidi listened carefully to the style and shape that I wanted, repaired the broken nails, and gave me exactly what I wanted. She was kind, patient, and efficient. I highly recommend her! I also had Angela as my lash and brow stylist. She did great worked with my eyebrow tint and wax, as well as my lash list. I will be returning!

Lynh was extremely amazing and very kind the attention to detail to my nails was amazing, she went above and beyond to make my nails look great even after I have been, my name is significantly. She made me feel very comfortable and I enjoyed the entire experience. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I highly recommend this place up and come in here for years.

I normally love to come here when I have some time from work to get a full set with a pedicure and just to relax. The people who did my nails and toes yesterday were not too friendly. They did not speak at all. No smiles either. I’m assuming the young lady is new she did not want to clip my toenails as I requested she kept telling me she can’t. She did a rush job, she scrubbed my foot with the purple scrub thing very rough I was not happy or satisfied with my services. The guy did well on my nails. I was not offered my complimentary drink per usual. The new chick at the front desk is a little rude as well. Every time I come here I get the same services and every time I am charged a different total and the lady tried to argue with me. I’ve been coming here for a year and I will now be taking my money elsewhere which makes me sad.

I’ve been coming here for years… I moved away from Houston, and now that I’m back in Houston, I returned to this nail shop. I think today may be the last visit I ever make there. The young lady at the front desk with the glasses is sarcastic and snarky, and tries to find every little weight to add in an additional five or $10 onto your bill… Which wouldn’t be an issue if the customer service and the quality of my nails were up to parr… But instead of telling me, they were unable to do what I wanted (which is a design that I previously had done at this shop)… they gave me a random nail tech who tried her best to replicate what one of her colleagues had previously done on my nails. But she wasn’t able to do so. It was OK, but not great. I didn’t make a big deal about it, but upon check out the young lady at the front desk and the glasses trying to nickel and dying me really irritated me because I was not happy with the finish product in the first place… At this point, I think I’m just going to shop around for a new nail salon. This is the second time I’ve received bad customer service in a row. Last time they literally allowed four people who I know didn’t have appointments to skip me…. As I was waiting in the lobby, I heard the women walk in and say they didn’t have appointments. So it just bewildered me that they were sitting down at a Nail Tech before I was.

Im never one to make reviews. Ever honestly, even if I had great service/experience. I believe in word of mouth more & speaking positively about a place. I went to go do my pedicure & a manicure. My pedicure was great, the lady was so sweet & attentive. Now the lady that did my manicure, horrible. She asked me what shape I wanted my nail, I said almond. She does a square 🤦‍♀️ the nice lady that did my pedicure (bless her heart) had to translate what i was asking for & she still gets it wrong. Why ask me what shape I want & do the complete opposite?I ask to pick a color & she randomly picks a color for me I did not want or ask for. When I do pick a color, I tell her if I can please get it as a French tip. She leaves me for more then 10mins to get a different set of colors to choose from 🤦‍♀️ when I picked another different color I ask for a French on it too & she says that it wont look nice & its better full color.To say the least, I was not happy with my first visit there, manicure wise. And i will make sure I didnt have her again. I want to give this place a benefit of the doubt.

This was my first time at Lux Nail Spa. I had a wonderful experience. The staff is very courteous. Lisa was my nail technician. I received a pedicure from her and she did an excellent job.While other services were offered, there was no hard sell or pushiness that I have experienced at other nail salons.10 out of 10 would come back again.Wow

I have come here many times, and the service is hit or miss. I always make an appointment online, and sometimes I can be seen as soon as I check in, but other times I have to wait 15+ minutes. The longest Ive ever waited to be seen was 45 minutes. I usually do a regular or shellac Mani, no nail art, just the basics.The atmosphere is nice, the decor is good, and the front desk staff is very friendly.

I don’t usually right reviews but I had to tell my experience. Any other nail salon would have given me issues about my shellac polish chipping before 2wks. Antoine made sure I was taken care of each time and made sure I was satisfied with my service. He is so nice! I love coming here. All of their workers are friendly!

Ok when i first came here i was disappointed, not going to lie but it was 3 minutes from my place and i gave it a second chance, boy am i glad i did, because when you find your person , youre set, Ruby is my girl .. i get my nails and toes done once a month, and she takes care of me every time. Not to mention everyone is friendly, the place is kept clean and they offer you beverages, water, soda, champagne oh and cM we add that they recently started rewarding their loyal customers and offering certain discounts on certain days .. try tgem you wont regret it

Lux has alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, 30+ plush pedicure chairs and 15+ nail stations to provide fast friendly service. Lash extensions, Waxing services and feet-hand massages. This place is immaculately decorated, has exclusive membership benefits and the atmosphere is quite relaxing. I highly suggest leaving the kids at home. Dont miss out on this Lux experience🖤

The design of this nail salon is beautiful. The staff were all very kind and professional and I loved their matching uniforms. I didn’t feel like the person doing my pedicure and eyebrow waxing was rushing, and her work was clean.

I’ve been coming to Lux for 7+ years. Everything is well run, organized, friendly and clean. Their new space is absolutely beautiful and offers so many amazing services.Lee has been doing my pedicures for almost the whole time I’ve been a customer and always provides a relaxing experience.I have recently started seeing Helen for my nails and couldn’t be happier! She gets the shape and design perfect and they last me 3-4 weeks without lifting.I would recommend Lux to anyone looking for a great nail salon with a knowledgeable and welcoming staff.

I had an amazing experience here! Ive been looking for a new go-to lash extensions place and this may be my new place. My tech was super insightful and chose the style that would look good with my thin lashes and eye shape. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

These good reviews must be falsified and unfortunately the reviews are the reason I went here. Firstly, it seems like a nice facility. When I entered there were 3 people at the desk chatting it up with a couple, asking them to leave a Google review (I’m not a fan of this practice) but the staff seemed to really make sure they had a good time. Needless to say I did not get that same treatment.They have a bar area, not only was a not offered a complimentary drink they apparently have, I wasn’t offered ANYTHING AT ALL. Nothing! The guy working my pedicure didn’t speak much English, which was not a problem, but the girl who did my nails did, and I’m pretty sure she understood when I said I previously had, and wanted gel powder again.She spent the whole time on the phone, and he was staring into space. Next thing I know, I have gel polish being painted over my powder polish which is STILL VISIBLE.I’m not very confrontational but I’m pretty upset and disappointed by this point. Then both scurried off, like literally couldn’t get away fast enough.She left filed nail flaking all over my shoes which I had to take the time to clean before I could leave.He was so rushed to finish the pedicure by the end, he didn’t even wipe my legs with a hot towel, he used one fresh out the laundry. I know that for a fact because it was cold, soaking wet and the detergent smell was very noticeable. Oh and he never put lotion on my legs afterwards. So I left out with dry legs.The icing on the cake though? I walk to the counter to pay, I wasn’t greeted, she didn’t ask if my service was good, she asked for my name, pulled my bill and asked if I wanted to tip. Afterward she asked if I wanted a receipt I said No Thanks, she said you’re welcome, and just walked away!I’m still angry several days later because my nails will look awful in about a week. I rarely give one star reviews anymore more, but apparently if you don’t match a certain aesthetic, you won’t get equal service at this “spa”. I do not recommend their services.

I have been a loyal customer of Lux Nail Spa for almost a decade. The staff is always very welcoming, friendly and attentive to the clients. The salon is absolutely gorgeous…very spacious and bright always clean with a trendy aesthetic. If you want to have beautiful nails, a relaxing pedicure, luxurious lashes, the perfect facial and more I highly suggest you visit Lux! Oh yeah and you can also enjoy a tasty cocktail glass of wine or cold beverage with your exceptional service!!!

I stopped in here last week while on a work trip. I was not able to get my nails done at home before making it to Houston. Let me say, not only did I love my pedicure, but my nails are gorgeous. The nail techs were very nice and helped me pick colors. The bar for a drink while waiting was a nice touch. I definitely recommend this spot to get your nails done!

I’ve been a customer of Lux Nail Spa since they opened years ago. The new location (same shopping center) is beautiful, luxurious, modern and spacious. Steven has always done a phenomenal job on my nails. I love the new online appointment booking.

Suri does my nails great, always satisfied! I get facials lash lifts also. Great customer service!!! Easy scheduling and always working with me to get me fit in if I don’t make an appointment.

This place refused to service me on July 6th. I signed in and sat down like normal waiting for my service provider. A make employee approached me after calling my name to tell me they could not service me. HUH??? I asked why not and he said he didn’t know., but it was noted in their system not to service me. I asked if he could find out what happened hence the last few times that I was there no problems had occurred. He then went and spoke to a young guy and girl who are always at the front. After speaking with them and not looking in the system he told me they could not service me because I was too picky. I said to him if there any problems before I would not have returned. DUH!! I said I won’t be back and left. I don’t know what there problem is, but ladies and gents be aware of this weird nail shop.

If you are not coming to Lux Nail Spa to get your nails and feet done you are truly missing out. The service is immaculate and since they have moved to the new location 2 doors down it’s even more tremendous. The aesthetics are phenomenal, and they even took their service to a new level by offering a variety of cocktails to their guest. I have been coming to this establishment for over 5 years. And even though there are places that are closer to my house, I am willing to make the 30 min drive to this establishment.

The reason for the one star review is the first impression of the establishment(Reception)it’s my 3rd time here and each time it’s not a pleasant greeting always have a bothered attitude. I called 3 times attempting to set up a appointment couldn’t get through so I decided to make my drive, I have my regular tech’s I LOVE, REASON WHY I DRIVE 50 min to come all the way here! When I told her I’ll wait till my tech got done with current customer they tell me I should have called or set up online, as I attempted to do but couldn’t get through. My mother in law just passed away I wasn’t thinking of checking the website for online booking! LET’S keep in mind that the reason we come to these establishments is to be pampered. Your workers create there business within the business. As I sit here another customer is voicing to her regular tech that she asked for her and they told her she wasn’t working they gave her another technician. The receptionist should have more respect for the business don’t allow them to block the repeat customers. On a side not the techs are sweet and listen to your needs. Look for Ben (Hands)and Lynh(feet). They will make sure you are taken care of.

I really hate this nail salon… Ive tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because the ambience and decorum is really nice but Im always either really frustrated or disappointed when i leave. The first two times i went i absolutely hated my nails.. but sadly Im not confrontational so i just paid and dealt with them. This last time i went (which was today) i asked to get my nails and toes removed. Im so mad right now i can barely type… this lady proceeded to RIP my nails off with another fake nail… it was sooo painful I literally raised my voice at her and asked her to stop and SOAK my nails off. Like isn’t that what i’m paying for?! If i wanted my nails ripped off i would’ve just bite them off myself. Luckily i stopped her on the four nail but literally my nail beds are so tender and sore. On the nail that i stoped her at she punctured it and now i have a painful crack in my nail. So i guess the lady caught an attitude after i told her to soak my nails off so for the rest of the service i was just so irritated and annoyed because its like your mad but my nail beds are screaming?! Idk i just had to write my honest review. I HATE HATE HATE this nail salon. Ill never go back. But like i said its a cute and upscale place i just wish they knew how to do nails properly.

Lux is the best!! Customer service has been 10/10 everytime I’ve come, they have a full bar and a ton of nail techs so you never wait long if you need to do a walk in appointment. The owners are on top of each client and constantly making sure they are taken care of, the nail techs are talented and understanding as well. The vibe and decor is beautiful inside and it’s always incredibly clean. Been to many nail salons in my days and this is by far the best experience for the affordable prices, highly recommend!!

I have been coming here for over 4 years and have always been satisfied with my services. I usually get gel mani pedis but recently started getting builder gel and my nails are growing out so nice. Tam does a great job on pedicures.

LUX nail spa is by far the BEST nail salon I have been in Houston!! My is very professional, very sweet, quick and effective. Im a nurse that works in a MICU and we are not allowed anything artificial and long. My was able to give me a very cute, short overlay.

Service is amazing. Everyone is super friendly, feels very family oriented and prices are extremely fair. I got my set done and it lasted almost a month before refilling. They also offer refreshments and smiles to ensure you have a relax visit. Definitely recommend.

I wrote a bad review because the lady was trying to pull up my nail with a sharp object instead of soaking them off. The nail tech had an attitude because I simply wanted my nails soaked off and didn’t want to spend $200+ dollars. . So instead of fixing the issue, the next time I went in I was told they couldn’t provide service to me. And honestly I don’t want to be serviced by them I found an amazing place 7 minutes away that offers excellent customer service. But these people really put me on a block list for giving an honest review. It took me aback but I just left I didn’t cause a scene because I’m not in the business of begging to give my money away. The manager should be babe of himself. Do better.

New to Houston a friend recommended them. I was offered water when I was about to leave didnt no they had drinks. Just started a job as a food runner so i have to take pride in how my hands and nails look. I left here with cuts. I paid 25 in Florida and got offered a massage chair water soon as I entered and had someone who spoke English to understand exactly what I wanted.

I found this place on yelp and it literally was 10 minutes away from me, I was going to another nail salon that I thought was quite expensive but I do know that they are good at the sign. Of the time it’s a risk to go to a new place when you don’t know if they can do designs. I saw on the reviews some of the designs that were done so I decided to give it a try. It’s a quite new nail salon but very clean it seems like they have a bar, I’m not sure if you know the bar is available with Covid. They offered me alcohol or non-alcohol beverage I did choose orange juice, everybody was wearing a mask except for a mom grandma and a child who came in later. The staff was quite nice to me and I feel they nailed the design. One of the things that I thought was interesting was she looked at the design that I wanted one time and was able to nail it. I definitely will be back it has been about 2 1/2 weeks and my nails are still solid.

First time going, my experience was great! I was one of the last clients and they were not rushing me at all. When I book an online appointment I dont expect to be waiting for 30 min- 1 hour. I respectfully arrived ON TIME now respect MY TIME and render services as agreed upon. The nail tech, My, arrived late with an attitude and no apology acting as if she was doing me a favor. This lady has no CUSTOMER SERVICE ETIQUETTE whatsoever. Then the owner had the nerve to block me from future appointments because I complained about having to wait! There are too many other nail shops in Houston to patronize. That’s the problem, they know we are going to come regardless so they have lost genuine appreciation for an individual’s business.

This is my second time being disappointed with my service here. Today I asked for a soak off and a manicure. I explained to the first lady that came that I wanted a soak off and manicure. She looked confused and kept insisting I get an overlay. I didn’t want an overlay and I don’t get so. So then I get the next lady sits down because the first one promptly leaves and says nothing. She then starts using some sharp tool to lift my nail and I immediately stop her because I know my nail will be damaged. She then starts soaking my nails and then leaves and starts working on someone else. I then wait about 10 minutes and ask to speak to a manager who then commences to tell me there was a break down in communication. She then comes back and finishes the soak off and manicure. She doesn’t use a fan to help dry them or anything so now I just have wet polish on my hands. I feel like just because I’m not spending over $200.00 this time it doesn’t mean I should be treated any less. Over it and will not be coming back. The last time I was here I spent over $200.00 for my wedding nails got chrome French tips, pedicure with shallac, eyebrows and wax. Learn how to treat people no matter the cost.

Today was my first visit. Michelle was my technician I had a good experience and well probably be that. Also the young ladies at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

First time in Houston getting my nails done. My nail was infected due to poor nail application. I had to go to the ER to be treated I was in so much pain!!! In addition to that, one nail broke less than a week after getting them done and I still had to pay $10 to get it fixed. My other nails are continuing to break as the days go by I paid $160 for my service. Pedicure was horrible the white gel is already chipping away and it’s only been 2 weeks. Highly do not recommend can’t believe I had to experience something like this as I’ve never in my life had something like this happen to me. Only thing luxury about this shop is the ambience. Go somewhere else ladies!!

I have come to this salon for years. Today I was told that to check for ingrown toe nails there was an added $10 charge. I’ve never been charged for that. It’s not the money but I feel like it was another money grab for what is already an expensive nail salon. I’ll never be back.

I m extremely disappointed with the service . I went and spend 3 plus hours for bails as they took the job with out having colors and material to complete the designed . They were rude and forced me to pick any color and applied over and over the different color or nail paint and the end result was of done by child and then they restarted and for shape which was not told or asked from me charged me additional $5 .You pay tip way more than thatDefinitely money doesn’t matter when you are happy with work but the bad attitude and keep looking mad specially the manager.Doesn’t recommend this place . The shaping is perfect, I just don’t like how much I had to pay for super plain work. I got solid colored powder and was charged extra for length but my nails are not long at all and I was charged extra for stiletto shape. I’ve been going to nail shops for over 20 years and no one has ever charged me more for that. But my main issue is my nails are super short and plain and it wasn’t worth $60 to me but other than that. Very nice shop! I’d go again if I was in the neighborhood 🩷

Been coming for years loved it here brought them clients and everything ......I have to change my review to a 1 star the manWho walks around has some sort of complex to banned someone because I chose to leave instead of continuing to get service. I came in with a positive attitude as always I went a few days ago before for a fill in and My nails were popping off left and right. I asked for something to drink and the short guy told me they dont give out drinks unless you pay a certain amount. I just looked him with shock and I been coming here for years and thats crazy I cant get anything to drink. So I told the nail tech nevermind Ill come back later time and I left she didnt even touch my nails I had no problem with the nail tech but the guy who be behind the desk was rude. I call back weeks later for an appointment they say Im banned. Of course I want to know the reason and felt really unappreciated the fact I have never caused any issues or been rude. Just because I wanted to leave and felt he was being rude I left plus my favorite nail tech was not there. So they will banned regardless who are you ans how much money they spent. I will understand if I caused a scene but I didnt. This place going down hill any way like I said all the good people gone except for Lee. And spoke with Amy she was no help and trying to figure out the cause of the issue. Was just told if its in the system nothing she can do.

Such a beautiful establishment! I came about 3 hours before closing on a Friday and it was as about a 45 minute wait until someone could see me (no appointment). Time flew by because I was at their bar having a strawberry margarita talking to one of their staff. I got my nails done by Milly 😍, she did such a great job. I didnt get a design because this is my first time here and I wanted to see how the nails come out first, But there is no doubt that I will be back to see her again. I was listening to music, but also watching the big screen TV they have on the wall And another one they have of nail designs being shown on a different TV. My nails were pretty long, Using powder and a coffin set look, no design just a iridescent color. My total didnt even come up to $100 ! Thanks again definitely coming back!

First of all, there is ZERO understanding of hygiene in this place. They do not clean their instruments, they do not care if they cut you. Skin around my nails was infected for several days. Second of all, some people who work there don’t know what they are doing. I’ve been using dip powder for 2 years now, and I’ve never gotten my nails buffed so much!!! It’s been two months now since service, the bump on my nails is so visible, that I need to use 4 layers of nail polish to cover it! Not to mention, that top that she used cracked in the end of the first week.

Wow! Amazing! So happy to be a guest today. I am not from the area and visited with a family member who comes bi-weekly. I understand why. Christina warmly greeted us and sat us quickly. My nail technician, Tweety, was exactly what my feet needed today. She provided one of the best pedicures I’ve been fortunate to receive. I was limited for time but she made every moment count. I am visiting family again in January are booked my next pedicure with Tweety. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I had a full set done on Friday and after a week 2 of my nails broke and the whole nail looked like it had been on for 2 weeks with huge gaps. I went back there to have this fixed and the manager stated it had to be a refill I will pay for just after a week! I do my nails all the time and I never had such a huge gap after a week. He wasn’t even trying to reason with me! I will not be going back here as the customer service is 0%!

They lost a good paying customer. Read the reviews before you waste your money. I will for sure never go back look at this disaster. Instead of just fixing the issue the technician and front counter wanted argue with me about my nails. They turned out uneven short and long and bumpy. Even if she did only put a layer of shellac she did not trim them evenly or file them so they wouldn’t have bumps.They should have taken the time to understand the issue so it could be resolved vs. Escalated and for this I won’t be coming back and I paid full price for my nails like this.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming! I was booked with Hannah for a VIP pedicure and it was sooo relaxing and worth it. The pedi milk bath and massage was so relaxing. They always very professional and try their best to get you in and out. I’ll recommend to make an appointment if you like a specific tech. My fav are Danny and Janeth. And V for my eyelashes. Receptionists are very polite. Great experience. And the 3-5 min plus massage they give you if you get a pedi. Omg great!!! Thank you!

The nail techs work was exceptional. Kim paid great attention to detail, was gentle and created beautiful work on my toes. The other nail tech also made sure we found the exact color I wanted and went above and beyond for the results desired. I highly recommend their services!

I am leaving this review for my mother who is now in poor health due to her manicure. She was cut during her manicure and contracted a fungus as result. She spent a night in the hospital due to a reaction to the anti fungal medication. I urge that you maintain disinfecting of your tools to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

I was coming here faithfully after starting back up on my nail journey and they dont listen. I was there valentines day and did my toes and nails and I pay for what I want so I have no problem spending a decent amount of money which if you go here you know you gone pay.So my toe nail that was already broken broke this morning.I told the man doing my toes I needed an overlay or for him to cut my big toe down and then rebuild it.He super gluded it and said I was fine and then im back today.They are asking me to 1.come back tomorrow when he works so they can match the right colors and 2. Pay more.This will be my last time here I already know they wont be able to match the color.And I tipped both people smh just being nice.Its not okay no! I come there once or twice a month.

Very nice nail salon I really like pedicures and I like a young man Bin he massaged me very well I enjoyed the way he did my feet Bin very much he is a young man in the shop that i saw i will go get a pedicure and see you i will give him 5 stars and the kindness he did for me.

I love it here Alex did my nails last week. Today i came back for my pedicure the ladies are sweet also they always have a nice attitude. 😌Im a very happy customer i will back I will be back in few weeks for my new set and pedicure.

Absolutely love Lux and their Team! The owners Antoine and Amy are always so welcoming and check in to ask how ur doing. Tee is my “Go-To” nail tech and I just love her! She’s so friendly and funny and has even gotten me to try awesome new designs and colors and I trust her completely. Same 100% goes for Lisa who has done my pedicures for probably 10 years. She always greets me with a hug, asks about my family and shares about hers. She always has a smile and she takes GREAT care of my toesies! I would give Lux 5+ stars if I could and highly recommend!!

I used to like coming here but they not rally good at keeping your appointments, I book for a pedi with Kim and they book me on her day off. Today I book again for 3:30pm when I get there they told me I had to wait because she didn’t know I book her I live 30 minutes away you think it’s okay to drive that far for nothing😡

I had a fantastic experience at Lux Nail! I got a pedicure and not only was it relaxing but also exceptionally well-done. My nail tech was really sweet and thorough with his work. Ill definitely be returning for more pampering.

Do not get your eyebrows waxed there. Not only did the lady not understand me, she made my eyebrows too thin like 90s tadpole eyebrow thin- there was no consideration given. When I told her I was upset, she did not understand me. I was in town for an event I saw that this place has good reviews and I trusted the fact that the area where they do waxing looked clean, but it went very bad. Also hours later I had a rash, I do not think they are clean enough or change the sticks they use to apply the wax since they caused me to have a rash.My cousin and her friend got her nails done while I was there and they also had a bad experience because they purposely do not tell you if anything cost more and charged them $20 more each. I feel frustrated every time I look in the mirror without makeup. It take me 15 min longer everyday to do my eyebrows all I wanted was a clean up. It might not seem like a big deal- but when you are now concerned that the hair there will not grow back and when the only makeup you do is your eyebrows it is a big deal. We told everyone at the gala how terrible the experience was and how surprise they were we did not even get an apology for their mistake. terrible customer service- they try to buy you over with drinks. Do not go there, it looks nice because its big but they are are very reckless.

I’ve been coming to Lux since the first location opened. Now the second location is just a few steps from the original and still the same professionalism and class! It’s welcoming to see gentlemen technicians as well as ladies providing excellent service. So glad they’re close to me👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I had to drop my daughter off at a nearby school for Saturday testing. I had made an appointment the day before. First, gorgeous atmosphere for a nail salon! The choices of products were outstanding!!! The gentleman at the front desk called Gigi to service me, and she did a great job with my design from my Pinterest ideas. Although I live in Katy and I have my regular place there, I will be sure to visit this place often! Plan on bringing my grandmother and mother. 😊

AVOID THIS PLACE! This is the ugliest manicure and it took TWO HOURS. When I kindly communicated to the management I was unhappy they badmouthed me in Vietnamese and told me to never come back.

First time going there in May. Happened to remove the acrylic for personal reasons - found this underneath. This is not user error - I have been getting acrylic nails for almost 20 years and never had fungus.

Top notch. I love this place. The staff is very courteous and their service is great. Price is reasonable and we will return again.
