Rating from a male!I only had a manicure but the service was great! I went a few weeks ago and will definitely go back. I was going to another place that caters towards men, Hammer and Nails. But they didnt have spots available online. Plus they wanted way more money. I was going to pay it but Im SO glad I didnt. This place is around the corner, took me as a walk in. And they did a great job! I plan on going back this weekend.

I came in today for a full set & it was definitely one of the best experiences ive ever had in a nail shop. The staff were super friendly / personable & my nails came out super cute & looked just like the reference photo. The atmosphere of the shop was also very pretty & relaxing with all the plants & no florescent lights. I would definitely recommend this place & come again.

Went to get a refill and to fix a previous set I got done somewhere else that left some of my nails crooked!! Johnnie did my nails and changed the shape + fixed the mistakes. I am SUPER picky and he was so sweet and exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back!!

Thr salon and the staff were beautiful, this was my first time going and I will definitely be going again!! I has the man ( idk what his name was) and he payed close attention to detail and was a doll to talk to. It was only costed $120 for a full set of acrylics with art and a pedicure! I went to this place looking for a good nail salon because the one I always go to it’s pretty far, so I wanted to find a good and close but i didn’t have many expectations and honestly im not disappointed it at all! Tried this salon on a Sunday. It was nice and quiet and peaceful. I did a nail refill and pedicure. Both came out nicely but after a few days one of the nails chipped and at the one week mark it popped off. Had to go elsewhere to get it fixed. I would definitely try here again.

Johnny and Tracy did an amazing job! This Nail Spa opened not too long ago and has been fully remodeled from the inside. The staff was very professional and proficient. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Cypress area.

Worst nail salon I have ever been too and I have been to many. They were snide, argumentative, and spiteful with services, and prices publicly posted online. Then tried to price gauge for gel polish for a manicure (if thats what you could call that) of $20 as part of the spitefulness and greed. Only reason I didnt get up and leave is so I didnt have to find and drive my family over to another place taking more time out of our attempted relaxing day. You know its bad when one of the three ladies, who appeared to actually be kind, gave the other two a look of shock and disapproval for their behaviors. A friendly reminder, you are running a business and if you treat people badly, provide poor services and are dishonest it effects the success of your business and reputation.Re: to the owner response of my initial review: My significant other paid for our services when my family absolutely came in to get our nails done. The next time you attempt to discredit or disgrace a past customers honest review publicly, it may be a smart idea to stop and think first before being emotionally reactive. It just validates the type of people running and/or working at this establishment. Thanks again for your lovely unprofessionalism and disrespect. Truly makes me sad that humanity is lost on some people.

My husband and I went here today as part of celebrating our 34 years of marriage. We both got facials, manicures, and pedicures. Johnny, Tracy, and Kim took GREAT care of us. They took their time and the service was worth every penny. (Very reasonable by the way) We will definitely be back and refer others!

Nice decor and ambiance insideCustomer service can definitely use some work. From the time you walk in, you should be greeted with darkness. As we all know, first impressions are lasting impressions.Monday to Wednesday, they have a $35 manicure and pedicure special. However, this does not include any callus remover, foot scrub, etc, for the pedicure portion. All they did for me was let my feet soak in some warm water, no blue powder, etc, trimmed my cuticles, buffed my nails, and then applied the polish color of my choice.Then, for a manicure, they clean your nails in just warm water, then trim cuticles, buff, and polish. Nothing fancy.I would have probably upgraded if I would have had a warmer welcome. Marketing, customer service, and overall presentation speaks volume.I definitely see some potential with the ambiance being nice, serving complimentary drinks, and just making it a nice welcoming environment for people to decompress and truly enjoy their self-care experience

This was not a scheduled visit, but Im very glad I decided to walk in! The salon is gorgeous, very clean and well lit. The reception is very friendly! I went in for a pedicure and a fill. My technicians were Johnny & Leah. They did a phenomenal job! Leah had a very gentle touch and was asking continually if the temperature of the water and the hot stones, and towels were ok. This something that in my experience, normally doesnt happen. Leah was very nice and thorough in doing my pedicure. She also was very sweet when i asked for my eyebrows to be done as well. Johnny did my fill and did an amazing job! He did my fill taking his time and great care to ensure he didnt nick me with the drill. This truly felt like a spa experience! The staff were amazing! I highly recommend this salon! Im definitely coming back!

I had an appointment and arrived 10 minutes early. The owner is nice and friendly. She asked me to have a seat as my hair stylist was with her customer. In 10 minutes she finished with her customer and was ready to serve me. I had a haircut and a hair color. She did her job professionally and fast. I am satisfied with the service at L’mai and will be back when needed.

Mai is wonderful every time I go to her for my hi-lights and color. I just show her a pic and she does her best to get me the color I want. And I don’t make it easy. I’ve got there colors in my hair. Red, Dk brown, & blond hi-lites. And I love it! Oh and shes also a great job on my eyebrows. Mai has been doing my hair for almost 2 years now. Prices are reasonable. I’m so happy I found her. 👍🏼❤️

I LOVE this salon. It’s very clean and everyone is so warm and friendly. It’s open seven days a week which works well for my crazy schedule.

Mai really hustles as a hairdresser. So don’t be surprised if she’s servicing one or two clients in addition to you. Definitely a hard worker who is skilled in highlights and haircuts. Those are the only two services I have personally used at this salon. Great value for the results.

If I could rate NEGATIVE STARS I would!I spoke to Mai (owner) about getting a Brazilian blowout so that my hair could be semi straight for awhile. Went in to get the process done and was there for EIGHT hours in that salon and sitting in that chair I knew something was not right because Brazilians do take awhile but not 8 hours! Fast forward to now, I am left with damaged half wavy and half straight hair & she laughed and told me it was my fault for saying I wanted it permanently straight.. I told her BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT- SEMI PERMANENT I understand shes not fluent in English no where near fluent but there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE in between the two procedures... I walked out that day with a relaxer on my hair which is PERMANENT until my entire natural hair grows out. I had no idea what she had done until I spoke to my salon owner friend a couple months later whom shedded some light on my issue for me. So I called Mai and told her To send me a picture of what she used, it was a matrix relaxer. She then tried to tell me that my hair would be back to my normal curls in 6 months.. yet here I am writing this today 6 months later and let me tell you, its NOT anywhere near normal. The natural curly hair is growing in from the roots but the rest of my hair is a damaged & looks permanently half straightened half wavy. Will be seeking legal action because she has made ZERO attempts at making this situation right. In fact she said she sees me as a CHILD & I should have known the treatment I wanted before I got it. She seems to be dodging the fact that SHE didn’t listen to me as the customer and went off and put a RELAXER in my hair which is NOT the semi permanent hair treatment I asked for!

Amanda Shears is awesome! Amazing with hair color, hair styles, eyebrows, and nails. I drive all the way from Katy near Typhoon Texas to come out to see her at LMai Beauty Space. Super affordable and excellent quality work in all she does. My 3 yr. old daughter even gets her nails done with me here for like $5!!!! Mommy/daughter pedis!!! Love the laid back environment here, and great customer service.

*Update* they responded to my review 10 years later… This experience was the last time I had my nails done. Wow.I had my nails done.My cuticles were not done at all, she didnt clean up my nails before she put on my tips, or soak my hands before she started, and its only been a week and they have to be redone already because they are coming off and chipping! $25 for this!? Ridiculous.

Service was good, but the last time I was there was shocked at the lack of attention to have the salon clean, there were roaches walking all over the foil for highlights and coffee cups, and this made me feel so uncomfortable I don’t think I will go back

I went there to get my hair done and first off she did not put the right color second she was to busy making money that every time somebody came in she would rush to them instead of doing my hair she also wet my entire back side of my shirt the appointment when I called they said it would only take 2 hours but ended up being 4 because she kept leaving I do not recommend this place

It was awful if I can give -10 * starts I will they dont know how to do acrylic or any fake nails and they tell you they are professionals you spend most of your day and she said she do it slow to do a good job but the nails fall off in 3 days and when you go back the owner tell you that the nails are over grown and you need to pay for refills and you spend other half a day to have the same problem they dont wash the tools very often I will never ever go back in there.
