NOTO Houston

Came for their Midnight in Tulum theme party. They had fire performers come out which was pretty cool but otherwise it was just a normal night at a club and there was basically no theme whatsoever- so I felt misled. I dont prefer standard club music but the DJs were pretty good & mixed in a bit of everything. Vibe was pretty solid & the place filled in just after midnight with tons of dancing and fun but as a 30 year old guy I found the crowd to be too young for me. Almost everyone looked and acted about college age. Drinks were too expensive for what the place is IMO. Overall, not a terrible option if youre a young 20-something but even then Id say its just kinda mid, as the drink prices are a bit egregious and the venue isnt really anything special.

We had a blast Lil Babys AfterParty this was my first time hearing about this club its one of our newest spots! The owner is detached from whats going on out here in Houston! Spot would be great if it had more talent coming through! Tried to book with them and Owner was very arrogant! Has lots of potential without Owner! TELL THE OWNER WE THE LITTEST IN THE CITY!!

One of the hottest clubs in Houston, VIP experience was wonderful dont understand why theres so many negative reviews I guess people go in with the wrong expectations and with the wrong people lol.

DO NOT BUY TICKETS HERE. Bought lost kings tickets and showed up and the venue was closed. No email cancellation, no warning, no update on there website, just an empty, closed building. Multiple other angry people in the parking lot with the same problem wondering how we all got scammed so badly from a seemingly reputable venue.

This place has just been causing chaos to this neighborhood. No one respects traffic and its become extremely dangerous to drive around. People drive full speed on the wrong direction and will eventually cause a head on collision on the train tracks. Music has been extremely loud and we can here it all the way to the apartments, I cant imagine how the people in the townhouses feel.

First time that I visited this place for their first anniversary. The sound was okay, I dont think it was perfect though for a techno DJ. The sound bounced back on the other wall. It took me forever to get in. Talked to the front desk at least for 30 min because I clearly had an order confirmation with the order number and the link did not pull up my ticket. For some reason even when showing my id and the order number, they couldnt find it. This was super frustrating. At the end the manager came and looked at this again, telling me that my purchase never went through until he did find me and I clearly bought a ticket. Only one bar was open so it took some time to get a drink. A sugar free redbull cost me 9usd 😑 thats really not okay. To take advantage of someone that doesnt drink.

I’ve been to Noto four times and each time I leave wanting more!! It’s a great environment to rave in. Not to mention the venue itself is amazing/beautiful! The staff is really friendly and welcoming. Definitely a hot spot in Houston!

Been here a handful of times and it’s always a great time! Great music and artist, great drinks and awesome vibes! Definitely becoming one of my favorite venues to party at!

This is a sleek, sexy and upscale new club in Houston. They offer bottle service, with bottles ranging from $350 to $11K. Otherwise, general admission cover is usually around $10, and the well drinks are around $20 + tip. I enjoy going there because they bring some of the hottest DJs. They also have a great sound system and a unique led light show with led screens all around the walls and ceiling. I saw Afrojack play there on opening night. My friend iMax713 DJs there a lot, and he’s awesome.

Went there with an open mind despite mixed feelings for the location and was not the upscale club I was expecting. All personnel from security to service is extremely rude and bad attitude. Customers are there to get wasted and act like kids with no manners or respect of others with security doing nothing even after complaining some harassing behavior. I have to admit I got a trashy/burlesque/twerk vibe from kids club. On the top of that is not a gay friendly place at all. They have their specific customers, just not that upscale place I was expecting to be. Needs a serious new management and stop serving alcoholic beverage when people cannot even say what they want. Horrific at best.

Great vibes with plenty of tables, and a spacious dance floor. NOTO will definitely be my new spot for my favorite DJs.

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Went there for opening weekend and it was not the vibe! The location is wack - there’s a train right next to it it so you might get stuck in your Uber for 15 mins on your way there + there’s no place around that’s walkable for light food or to hop to. The layout is also just odd (think fishbowl). Plus, heard from a friend that they’re now closed down after just two weekends..

Dope venue… could have some seating for us regular folks though. We all can’t get sections mayne. Dancing be taking a lot out of you l. Especially if IMAX713 is mixing 🙃

My experience is being an aggravated neighbor. We have dealt with the noise, drunken patrons, cursing, revving engines up and down McKinney. Unfortunately with no zoning, we are subjected to this awful place. We don’t sleep when this place is open, we’ve witnessed their patrons urinating on our fence, we’ve witnessed arguing outside the club, numerous fights in the parking lot right outside of neighbors windows, women screaming and standing on top of cars, loud yelling in between the hours of 12am and 4am, with no security, or interruption from the staff as if they could care less. They have no one trying to keep the peace as long as they are making money. This was the worst experience of being one of the first townhome owners on McKinney. I have also posted the petition I started.

Noto is okay if you like table service vibes. The drinks are definitely overpriced. I was expecting premium cocktails or a cocktail menu, but nope. The looks of the place inside is elegant/chic. I wish the sound system had more bite. The staff are friendly. Depending on who is playing, Id go back, but not my 1st choice for a night out. They do have a paid lot and ample parking on the street. It has potential, just not there for me. Try it out, at least once, and make your own assumptions.

I say no to NOTO! This nightclub is a total disruption to our community. They have added noise, unsafe traffic, and unruly patrons to the area. Very bad location for a nightclub and very unfortunate for the residents in and surrounding community. The city of Houston needs to address these types of businesses opening in residential areas. Nothing good can come of this, but more problems in the near future.

First time coming here, I bought a ticket on ticketmaster for a 2 chainz concert. It was a rowdy young club with overpriced drinks. Surprised I didnt hear anything about the artist the entire time from stage. I stayed until 1am for a 10pm show without seeing any artist perform, this is ridiculous behavior for any concert or establishment.

For a brand new club in the scene, I was in awe of how wide the dance floor is! The sound was exceptional throughout the venue and the lighting was superb! There’s a vibe that fits what you’re looking for; you just have to keep in mind of the date and vibe they have going on for the evening. Will definitely attend future events & shows with my friends!!

My first time here! The place was ok but the location is so weird and felt unsafe to walk out.We came out from the club and it was raining really hard so we stopped for a minute tried to figure out which way to get to our car, since there is no cover at all around the building. Suddenly i heard a security guy came out cursing at all of us and called one of the guy MotherF and pushed one of guy all the way down the stairs in the rain. Other people around tried to tell him to calm down but he kept cursing at all of them and asked if they want a fight? THE MOST RUDEST and CHILDISH SECURITY I ve ever seen in my life.

I Was going to enjoy Ekali’s show on 4/19 but they charge $20 this time to park at NOTO, 😭 when KSHMR was here it was only $13.

Complete waste of money, the black bartender with tattoos was horrible. She told us to leave after serving us 6 times with an OPEN BAR that we paid each for. She claimed she served us 20 drinks when in reality she can’t count to save her life. The music was not half bad but this stupid bartender ruined the whole vibe. They also had 2 bartenders on new years???

Whats not to like about NOTO? John Vu the host is the best, his hospitality and service is top notch. He makes you feel like family! Always a great time here, if youre looking to let off steam for the weekend, you found your destination. They bring some really neat performers. James hype was a core memory unlocked! Whoever that DJ was on Nov 4, do not let her DJ again. Probably one of the worst sets I’ve ever heard. She was too busy vibing to her own music to notice people leaving. Zero people dancing. And when the music cuts out multiple times for minutes at a time on a Saturday night it gets awkward for everyone. Staff was nice though. Oh and if you like being surrounded by 18 year old Edgar’s this is the club for you.

Do not buy drinks here or at least check your bank account right after because I was overcharged $63 for three drinks when it should’ve been $30 plus tip. Bartender took advantage of me while I was drinking which is unethical and unprofessional. He was a young male with black hair. I’ve been calling to dispute this but no one will answer. Will not come back here ever again

Always my go to spot for nightlife in Houston. John Vu is too good at his job and always makes it a memorable experience! Top acts and top service! Definitely recommend to all!

I highly dont recommend anyone over 25 dont go here. Horrible dj, over priced and if there is an artist advertised to show up it will be I. The last hour. I called the venue earlier in the day and they said they would show up within an hour of doors opening like any normal venue bit of course it was a lie. Font easy your time here. Its a typical shifty houston club like what has opened in the past. Wanna be vegas club, zero class

I had such a fun time at this club! Staff was so welcoming and friendly plus the drinks were awesome. The venue itself has cool light fixtures and they book popular djs here. Place was very clean and parking was no issue. If you haven’t partied here yet you need to! 10/10 recommend and will be back soon 😍

Do not go to this bar we were at a sponsored event and the director of Noto was double dipping on the bottle service and asked us to move 2x. There were no reserved signs and the owner of one step who sponsored the event told him directly we could sit there. We left because of the director. This is how this place treats their customers and ignoring the owner who rented the venue and im sure have at 50k bar tab from the 200 to 300 people they invited. DO NOT GO TO NOTO. Russell

This establishment barged in without having any good preparation. I visited on a DJ night series. The bartenders dont know half of what you mention: example: vodka tonic..(what is that?!)...the club itself was very empty and even by 1 a.m. there were large gaps between other people. The outside is cheap looking with dirt, cables, rocks and trash everywhere. Their idea of landscaping or any decent outdoor presentation is lacking. Theyre next to a train track which caused half of our group to be late. One person just went home after waiting for the train that was completely stopped. Zero stars if I could. To be honest, the music was WAY to loud to the point where I was uncomfortable. I guess they try to mask the lack of ambiance with louder music :/

The night club that opened next to our residential community has been a terrible experience for all of us. Its really noisy, with loud music that keeps us up at night and makes it hard to concentrate. The traffic around the club is a mess, and the people coming out of the club are loud and obnoxious. Whats worse is that the owners of the club dont seem to care about how its affecting us. They just want to make money, even if it means ruining our peace and happiness. We really hope they will listen to our concerns and make things better, but for now, we cant recommend anyone going there.

Came for a friends birthday. Entrance staff was friendly, I think this is the first time I was fully frisked but that means they are trying to keep you safe so I did not mind . Inside has plenty of space to roam around even if you dont have a table. Place inside looks pretty modern compared to outside. The place wasnt fully packed but hopefully as word gets out and new acts come ,it attracts more people.

If I could give zero starts I would. Do NOT waste your time going there. Marquise and Samuel are creepy & unprofessional. Samuel is NOT a promoter, does not have a connect and will waste your time luring you to NOTO. The club was empty & unclean. Marquise claimed to be the owner of NOTO. After other staff members confirmed he is not. The location is not it. Honestly, I would not waste my time there ever again.

Seems like kidz bop when you pull up. 25$ cover entrance fee for an empty dance floor with a bunch of 18 year olds dancing around. A Dos Equis beer will run you about 11-12 dollars (tip not included). Music is alright but nothing crazy when the dance floor is half empty. AlsoOur cars got broken into to, bad neighborhood.

This club is huge, the traffic and how people drive in the other comment has nothing to do with a review of this actual place. The atmosphere is amazing and they always have the best music. Plenty of VIP tables and two bars with super fast service! Can’t wait to go back

Had a horrible time. the exterior of the club is very rough (not an issue for me usually) but the service, staff, and interior did not make for it whatsoever. Both the other guests and staff made my friends (women) uncomfortable to the point where we left. The drinks were also over priced for their poor quality. sleezy place, 90% creepy men, and most of them seem to be friends with the employees wouldnt recommend (also dont be fooled by the 5 star reviews. theyre all from friends of co-investors of the owner)

Absolutely a waste of money , I stay in high end clubs and pay for a hell of a lot , I felt ripped off and scammed every single time I swiped my card they charged 10$ + tip , charged 20$ a person to get in and the artist never even showed up until 2am absolute garbage disappointment and the club owners only care about the money , no care for the guest . Pause I forgot the 14$ shots 22$ mixed drinks that are less then 6 oz of liquid far less then 2oz of liquor , 12$ beers, 2 chains management should be damn ashamed

This place is like no other, I travel a lot as a hobby and NOTO is a unique atmosphere with the best djs from everywhere in the world. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are in a New York club. The people, the music, the vibe is everything. Service is at top excellence and they make sure you are well taken care of. My friends and I had the best time for Kaskade, definitely my new favorite spot!

I’ve been to a lot of the clubs in Houston and NOTO is my fav. Me and my girlfriends love going on Fridays for EDM. John Vu took care of us at my friend’s table and was the best! The only thing that could be improved is the parking. It’s valet only for the parking lot, but there’s plenty of street parking. I uber anyways so it’s something to consider

This club must have gotten lost on the way to Washington Ave. It does not belong in East Downtown. The area does not need trashy club culture or the human garbage it attracts.

Brand new fresh venue thats definitely going to shake up Houston.Vibes were great, super spacious dance floor, sections were properly laid out and bars were massive! NOTO brought in some of the coolest LEDs and lights ive seen so far at a club so its a must check out.Afrojack grand opening was 10/10

I was at a concert in this place. The concert was great, but I have a question for this place. Why is the floor so sticky?? It feels like someone spilled syrup all over the club floor before that. It is very uncomfortable to walk and unpleasant

This is the first Night Club in Houston that books big Dj‘s!! Shows fill up quick, so it’s better to reserve tickets in advance or book a VIP table. Staff is super friendly and provides great service.

I came for Alok event, it was one of the best shows yet. DJ was amazing, great older crowd, hospitality was fantastic, the production & visuals were out of this world, def coming back!!!!

Talk about crooks! They kept my license and the so-called bottle girl didnt explain anything so she could get an extra $128 tip. DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANYTHING!!! Under age drinking, security stinks, no dress code, threatening atmosphere, because of fights and open use of hard drugs. We will not be back!!!

Worst nightlife experience I’ve had in several years in Houston. Location was not up to date with permits therefore fire Marshall shut them down. I had anniversary tickets for the wife and myself to see Laidback Luke and nothing!

The staff was very attentive and fast. The manager/security was very open-minded and accommodative to everyone in my group. First time there, very good impressions.

Noto has a great atmosphere & excellent service! The opening weekend had great line ups & the bottles are reasonably priced! Will be coming back for sure!

Sam is a great person he took care of me and my friends the whole entire night he’s very professional and friendly. I would really recommend using Samuel as a promotor as your next time going out to noto. Thank you Sam you’re the best!

Popped in for the grand opening last night this place is cool. Big dance floor decent drinks. And the lights on the ceiling where awesome.

Empty...lame...terribly loud, my ears are still ringing from music and it was uncomfortable. Drinks are basic. Looks like a boxy warehouse and has a terrible look outside.

A bit on the expensive side, but the artists they bring are prettt darn great. We just went to a Don Diablo set and it was SICK!!

Good sound system, good vibe but...The sections are unbearably hot and they seem to be ok with people smoking (tobacco and weeds) inside.

The best nightclub in Houston! Service and hospitality was amazing, for which I would definitely come back soon!

Waited in line for an hour last night after being told there were issues with the fire marshal. Ended up being told the show was cancelled with terrible communication.

Workers were so rude, had no respect what so ever!!! asked a simple questions and gave attitude back??? hire better people!!!!

This place is a rip off we had a free ticket and it ended at 10:30 but they had us waiting outside till like 11 and talking about we can’t use our free ticket then trying to charge 50 then 35 then 25. Do yourself a favor if its a free ticket and it’s at this place it’s no point in going
