Thai House Massage

Such a great massage! This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Everything is good as soon as you walk in. The staff was welcoming and polite.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but I pride myself on honesty in my reviews and just don’t feel like it really deserved it. Here is my honest review.Booking was hit or miss, their number listed online transfers to someone’s cell phone (a different number). That person is nice but you can tell he is inexperienced in customer service - sounds young, maybe a teenager, who isn’t the smoothest at booking appointments or coordinating with staff for massages. He was generally nice but could’ve been better at the booking process. By the end of the call he said goodbye to me without asking what time we were wanting to come in - I had to remind him to notate what time we wanted.We booked for couples massages. The environment was simple but clean overall. Massage rooms are on the smaller side but you don’t feel stacked on top of each other. My only complaint with our room was there wasn’t anywhere to put our stuff - at other massage places they have a seat or basket/shelf somewhere to put your clothes and belongings and I didn’t see that here, so our stuff went on the floor.Also, the massage beds do not have the usual circular head rests. They place a pillow under your chest to elevate your head but it’s kind of…. Awkward positioning. If they put your neck straight to massage it then your face is essentially pressed into the bed which was uncomfortable for me.The two ladies doing our massages were friendly enough. They told us quickly to get undressed and under the blanket face down. On the bed, there was a sheet with a towel/small blanket on top of it. So we didn’t know whether they wanted us to get under the sheet or under the small blanket/towel (which wouldn’t have covered our bodies fully) - that part could’ve been clarified more. We got under the sheets and that was what they meant.The massages themselves were good. Not great, but good. Mine was relaxing although at one point my masseuse stretched me uncomfortably, so I kindly mentioned it was too much for me, and she stopped. She went lighter on pressure for the rest of the massage.My boyfriend on the other hand was not enjoying his experience much. I kept hearing the masseuse tell him in a loud voice to “relax, you need to relax”. I guess the pain from the massage was making him tense and he was having a hard time relaxing. The massages were intense with a lot of stretching of the body - but it was our first Thai massage so I’m not sure what level of intensity is appropriate for these.Whatever you circle on their paper, they will focus on. So when it asks you what problem areas you have, and you circle it, it will be the focus of the massage. Keep this in mind before you circle things.As I said before, we are new to thai massage. Overall I enjoyed my massage although my boyfriend did not. They walk on your back and the woman who did his massage is a bit larger, which is fine, but the weight might’ve been too much on his back. Nothing against her, it’s just the facts of the situation. He would’ve kindly asked her to skip the walking on his back if he knew she would be his masseuse ahead of time.This place has the potential to be a 5 star place. If their customer service was a bit better, clearer directions, places for customer belongings in the massage rooms, and maybe giving you the option of who your masseuse is size wise could make for a better experience. I do appreciate their time, effort and energy for our massages and wish them the best as they improve their business.

First time coming here, and I had a great experience. My masseuse was Kim and she did a fantastic job! Asked for deep tissue and it was one of the best massages I’ve had in a while.

I first went to the place by the Home Depot (Empress), they were rude. So I gave this place a try, reluctantly, and so glad I did! Hanna was AMAZING!!! Seriously, best massage ever!!

After weeks of complaining of aches & pains, I finally got a much needed massage. Thai House Massage is in my neighborhood and had great reviews, so I called and made an appointment. My masseuse was Kim and she was absolutely amazing. I did a 60 min combo massage. It was a great mixture of pressure point, massage and stretching. Her communication was on point and I will definitely be back! Yay for finding a great massage place!

Had massage with my mom today and Pam and Hannah were both great! We loved it and would come back if we lived here! It was one of the message messages Ive had!

I was looking for a good massage place and went to this place and I made an appointment for the next day. I really like this place because it did help me to feel better and help me to deal all my stress and sore muscles since this was a my second time going to a massage place after couple of years. I took my wife with me and definitely is worth trying because even she told me she really enjoy it and told me it was spectacular, since also help her as well. I definitely recommend people to go to this place specially deal some sort of pain

Haven’t had a massage in years and was in very bad shape. Annie helped me with a combination Thai and Swedish massage. Excellent work! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be back.

Annie was truly amazing! She really knows how to apply deep pressure on the right spots and not waste time where its not needed. Shes is one of the best back walker I have ever experienced in the past. Beware, theres a good chance she will make your back crack in the right way. Shes definitely for those who know you have to receive deep massages, not for beginners will be only visiting her now on for my future massages.

Annie is great, she knows what shes doing, this place is legit went in for a 90 min massage since I was really tight due to work and Annie left me leaving out of there light as a feather. Slept well that very night, I also sent my parents and wife to her and they all had the same experience as me. I now come back monthly to her as a regular. If youre looking for something that is legit that will really help your health this place is the best place by far.

We had 60 min Swedish massage with my mom (simultaneously). My mom liked it very much. They worked on all the muscles 💪. I felt muscle sore like after work out. We will come back again.

I really love this place!! They are very professional and best massage I ever had. I cannot visit the place often since in different town but I go there whenever I visit Houston.
