My boys scheduled me for a weekend getaway for mothers day in the Cape. They tried to book a facial at the salon in the hotel where we were staying but they were booked. They ended up getting an appointment the day before at Unique. I was hesitant, as I had never been there before. I have to say, it was a very pleasant experience. Cierly did my facial. She did such a great job. It was relaxing yet very effective, as she was extremely thorough. They even notified me of a promotion going on when I went to pay, which resulted in the service costing less than what it was booked for. I highly recommend this salon.

I woke up this morning and got so frustrated with my hair I decided to cut it all off. I was able to book my appointment online and get a confirmation within 20 minutes!Dani was my stylist and she did an AMAZING job! Although she wasn’t able to speak English very well, I could tell she knew what she was doing. The salon had a translator for me and I was able to explain exactly what I wanted and I felt confident that it was conveyed correctly.I am so beyond pleased with my hair and I will definitely be a return customer!

I was in town for the week of my wedding and needed an appointment quick to get my eyebrows waxed. Unique was able to take me in right away. This was my first time getting my eyebrows done and it was such a great experience, I know I will have a problem finding another place that measures up. My make-up girl also said they did a great job when she saw my eyebrows on the day of the wedding. Thanks so much! Ill be home again in a few months and may stop in again for a touch up.

I was in the area for business and needed to get a root touch up. The stylist asked if she could put a few highlights in to make the roots blend. I agreed but I wanted them natural looking and not too light. While I was processing she checked a section and I told her it looked way too light but she had me sit 10 minutes more. The highlights came out way too light. The process damaged my scalp and I had to see a dermatologist and am still undergoing treatment. I have had my hair colored for 30 years and never had an issue. And my fault for not asking ahead what the price was but I paid over $100 more than I pay at my home salon for the same services.

The worst pedicure I have ever had. I went there for years and they were great. Changed owners and all went downhill. The staff spoke no English. All had to be translated. No idea what I wanted. Did not apply a top coat and all polish was chipped off within a couple of days.

Very nice place, professional and friendly staff. So easy to make an appointment there even on a short notice. I get my wax treatments with Maria and had my haircut done by Albena and I was always pleased with the service. Really happy I found this salon!

I got an A+ wash and cut with Daniele. I love my haircut, it came out just like the picture I showed her. They also recommended an excellent leave-in conditioner. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

These people are very friendly, hard-working, and reasonably priced. Their salon is clean, their reservation system is well organized and they send you text reminders. Vesa is my stylist, and she is a great listener.

I believe in fair reviews, I’ve also been to this salon enough times to have a balanced one. Here is my experience: Initially I came out feeling positive and had returned. About a year ago another stylist had forgotten a really important to me color request, was apologetic and my hair still looked fine so things ended well overall without it and so thought I would try again this year anyway. I set this appointment with clear needs to have simple roots only partial foil weave of a mid-level blond. I have had this exact process done as my go to for most of six years and am used to directing new stylists all over as I travel for work. I had to explain what I needed multiple times as stylist seemed not to understand and was asking off questions. English may not be her primary language, no problem as I am trilingual myself and used basic friendly direction for style needs though she never told me she didn’t understand . I introduced myself asking her name and as she didn’t seem to want to talk I thought maybe she was just introverted, no problem so I allowed her quiet time to work and turned to my phone and she barely spoke to me most of my time there. She began sectioning my hair strangely backcombing areas before painting on color so after a few foils I asked her how she was going to color weave my roots with that method, an approach I had never experienced and was confused by, she offered some reassuring words and as I’m open minded to new approaches I let her do her thing. After three hours in the chair I was exhausted and couldn’t figure out why a root touch up was taking so much longer than is usual. She finally took me through a sloppy shampoo job then left me laying there for a bit without explanation, on return she began to paint, what I was after told was more color and toner, directly onto fully cover my roots. (This is not in line with any color weave root fill process I’ve ever experienced and felt very much like she screwed up on my roots and thought she could paint on something last minute). This immediately began burning painfully and tears were flowing down my cheeks as I asked what she was putting on my hair as post shampoo is typically time for conditioner. The burning intensified and I was full on sobbing by the time she listened to me to wash it out though she had covered most of the top of my head by then. I hastily towel dried my hair and gathered my things to speak to the owner offering to settle up though I was done and needed to get home to put something on my scalp to treat it and stop the pain, this I detailed in tears while my hair soaked by clothes and my scalp continued burning. She refused payment so I went strait home and applied healing creams waiting for the burning to stop. My scalp was red with sores developing everywhere the product touched. (I had been to this salon before with same product line and have no idea what happened) I had a prescheduled doctor appointment for two days later who also had no explanation for why my scalp would be covered in sores then turned to scabs other than a chemical reaction. This stylist did not listen and the color job I received was not a weave of a warm blond hue on only my roots as requested, instead an all over Barbie light blond destroyed the nice mid level warm color I had on ends now parched like dried straw that I’m daily applying repair oils to as already prone to dry hair. I have never in my life had to leave a salon sobbing and in pain and will not be returning. Others may have a fine experience here as my first visits went well and I won’t advise others not to go as I know there to be good results from others in this salon (thus any stars at all) and the owner is very nice, though my parting is beyond uncomfortable and frustratingly sad. If you do go, make very certain that your stylist actually listens to you and understands your needs.

Very nicely decorated and clean! I got a nice pedicure done there and this was such a nicer places that Ive been to on cape. Also not too expensive at all, I would say the same as most other salons as far as getting your nails done. Was very happy and I would recommend.

Albena is amazing! She always listens to what I want exactly! She will literally look at a picture I show her of the balayage colors I prefer and matches it exactly - all within a reasonable amount of time. She is the only one I’ll trust with my hair cut and color now!

Albena was wonderful and super quick. She squeezed me in and gave me a great haircut, exactly as I had envisioned and requested. I will definitely go back in the future.

My wife had her nails done here and was very pleased. She called and was able to secure an appt within 20 min. Happy wife, happy life!😉

Massage therapist Sara is a phenomenal massage therapist who recently moved from another spa to Unique. She is able to find and iron out the knots and put one in a totally relaxed state. Im very happy that she is now in the Hyannis area as it is much easier to access, especially in the summer months when traffic can be a problem, especially on Route 28.

Decided to get my hair colored and cut while on vacation. Albena did an amazing job and its the best coloring Ive had in years! Thanks so much!

Every service I have received here (hair cut, hair color, nails, facial, waxing) has been excellent, and if you arent completely happy with something they make every effort to fix the issue.

Charged me for things I specifically did not want done at my appointment without even consulting me first and ended up paying double what I thought I would be in the beginning of the appointment. Very unhappy.

Albena gives a really great cut and color! Maria does great brows!! Highly recommended!

I called them, it took forever for them to answer, and then they said, theyll call me back, and when they call me back, it was the wrong people that call me back and can never get an appointment, so I never made it in because they cant manage to make phone calls to the right people or give messages not the greatest place.

It is a GREAT place Excellent service FRIENDLY staff and GOOD hair stylist. I highly recommend this place.

All the services I performed yesterday were excellent. Hair (Dani), Pedicure (Kelly Fonseca), Waxing, Eyebrows and Facial Peeling (Cierly). All of them were friendly, punctual and excellent in their specialties. I loved the result of my hair, feet, waxing and face. Facial Peeling made ALL THE DIFFERENCE to my skin. My skin care routine is complete now. I was younger by about 10 years! Thank you Cierly dear for your usual care, I feel very welcome in your space, I recommend your salon to everyone who wants good service, with a fair price and guaranteed results.
