SCAM ALERT!!!Save your money and look elsewhere. I’ve been a member since March and they’ve canceled the last 6 months of appointments. I get that thing happen but there is absolutely nothing in place to adapt to these situations. Complete waste of time an moneyEdit. 5/3/23 Follow up. 6 months later same results. Have an appointment 5/4/23. Got a text on 5/2 to confirm the appointment. 5/3 get a phone call to cancel since the therapist doesn’t work there anymore. Have 9 appointments banked trying to use. Decided to cancel and attempt to use these 9 appointments. No idea how they expect you to use them when they haven’t been able to accommodate them for the last yearThis is a major scam and I’m actually surprised they are allowed to stay in business. Take your money and provide no service long enough for you to get fed up and cancel knowing you will never be able to use what you’ve already paid for.Edit 5/20/23. They just called and canceled another.Edit 5/30/23. My next appointment was supposed to be on 6/17/23. They just canceled it. Next available isn’t until August. This just proves my point even moreEdit 6/5. They were able to get me an appointment for today @ 1pm. They confirmed it on 6/4. As I set here waiting @ 1:15 they tell me they have to cancel because the therapist won’t be able to make the appointment.Truly a joke of a company
I had made an appointment for a massage and some facials for the same day, and decided to email them to find out more about the membership service they offered.I was very pleased with the package offered, and via email I asked to cancel my appointment because I was thinking about doing the membership, I was charged for the appointment that I requested to be cancelled. Im going to file a lawsuit because what I was charged for is almost 2 days of work, due to the employees incompetence in interpreting.
This office is not well managed by any stretch of the imagination. Hardly any therapists available and never the same therapist. I’m in Fort Lauderdale and am impressed with the massage envy down here. I wish the Hyannis location would take tips from other locations. Maybe this site will improve.
It is 7 pm. Hours are 9am to 9 pm. But they are closed. I keep coming by but it’s never open. So much for using my gift card.
Recently got a facial by Marissa and it was magical. I’ve been receiving facials for years and she has a special touch. Her rhythm and soothing touch made my day and I couldn’t recommend her more.
Today is July 1st. I called to get an appointment, they said they do not have any openings until November.
I originally asked for a female masseuse, but they accidentally booked me with Matt and I couldnt be happier! He really knows what hes doing, hes very pleasant and professional and has very strong hands if you like a good deep massage! I would give him a million stars but Google wont let me 😉I will be going back to him again!
Brittany gave a wonderful massage from start to finish. She listened to my issues before the massage started and fulfilled each aspect specific to my needs with the right amount of pressure. She checked in with me periodically in regards to my comfort and her pressure. This was truly a great experience. I wouldnt hesitate to have another massage with her.
Do not recommend this franchise or company in general. Here’s why:2 people in my family have their monthly membership with a combined 14 massages between them. If they want to cancel, they have 60 days to use the remainder of their ‘credits’. However this location has almost NO availability having only 8 therapists to service the entire Cape. It’s currently early November and the next available appointment is Christmas Eve, so there’s another 2 monthly charges they will be unable to utilize.In speaking with the manager who provided little support and poor customer service skills, he basically said our memberships aren’t his problem since they are based out of a different franchise even though this is where we now live. A simple phone call to the other location asking them to transfer our membership would now make this his problem. After suggesting they may want to freeze any new memberships until he had the staff to support operational needs, he rudely informed us that we are now ‘off topic’. After many minutes of searching for appointments, 3 were able to be booked between November and March.If you want to get stuck with a subscription service you can’t get out of, have massages on holidays or the middle of a Saturday, this place is for you! My suggestion, take your hard earned money and go to a high quality spa every couple of months to off-set what this mall attached, mediocre and poorly staffed franchise can provide.
Had a great massage with Charlotte! She is the best that I’ve had, in the 5 (or so) years that I’ve been a member. Has always customized my massage to my current needs. It’s unfortunate that my wife and I will no longer be able to continue our memberships, with the increase in the monthly fee. These are hard times, as you well know and the increase is over the top, for us. We will continue to recommend Massage Envy and Charlotte, in particular. Out paperwork will be forthcoming. Thanks

Ive been a member for a long time, they changed owners and its been all down hill ever since. You cant even book a massage for 60 days, they dont have enough therapist to cover members, the staff will send text messages out for cancelations like a lottery, you need to be quick to book or just keep paying a monthly fee with no massage. I highly recommend you find another location or massage on Cape. Very sad 😥 😞 😢
Christy’s attention to detail and handle on the products is excellent. I have recommended her to my family and friends. You are lucky to have such a thoughtful, competent and educated individual working for your company.
I rate him on the 1-5 scale, a 5+. He gives 110% during the treatment. Matthew is by far one of the best therapists I have received a treatment from. He not only provides the massage therapy; but also is willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. If you ask him, he is always willing to help educate you during the process which I love. My only dilemma is having to wait for an appointment for him; since he is in such high demand. He certainly is worth the wait.🥰Massage Envy is getting my business and my husbands business because of Matt.
Lisa gave a firm massage. She had some great techniques for my hip/gluts, feet and especially my jaw. She was confident. Unfortunately, and not related to Lisa, they didn’t seem ready for my appointment. The bed was cold, they forgot the essential oil enhancement I had ordered, there was no cover for the face cradle so that was another need to walk out and find one…it took quite a while to settle in to the service.
Christy was awesome. She made the chemical peel experience comfortable and did an excellent job. I loved her professionalism, enthusiasm for her work and customers.
I have had excellent service since I started there about a year and 1/2 ago. Jenna was excellent and John is amazing. I go once a week and also book well in advance. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming as well. Its a great service at a very affordable price. So tip your massage therapist well!
Jenna was fantastic. I was late for my appointment due to husbands ‘s Dr appointment but when I shared my need due to lower back discomfort Jenna went right to work and my 1/2 hour seemed like a regular 1 hour treatment. Already looking forward to next month’s appointment👏👏
As always Christy is amazing. Just love my facials. Very relaxing and she’s wonderful, very pleasant and seems to enjoy what she does. My mother was visiting and I sent her for a facial with Christy and she too just loved her facial and Christy is so wonderful, loves her job and is truly a delight! Can’t wait to have my next facial in a month! 😍
Gina was great, very professional and tried to make me as comfortable as possible.This comment has nothing to do with Gina’s level of service, but I find the massage rooms in Hyannis to be on the warm side. I love a cold room when I get a massage as I tend to get very warm. Please do something about the ac levels in the rooms. Thanks!!

Ive been a member at ME Hyannis since 2014. Ive always had great massages, whether I book one for solid body work or just want to be pampered. There was a period of time a couple years ago when the online app didnt work very well, but that got settled.The only negatives Ive had is pretty regular turnover, and the wait time to book 90 minute appointments is challenging. Probably a combination of staffing and Covid at the moment.Love Will, hes really thorough and gives a good firm massage with a lot of body work if thats what you need.
The hot towel and biofteeze treatment was very helpful. It was an excellent visit. What can Massage Envy do better? It is extremely difficult to schedule an appointment. Busy, busy, busy. This is true at multiple locations.
****Side note - this review is not a reflection on the Hyannis location but the Mashpee location and Massage Envy as a whole********I would think twice about joining a Massage Envy membership or any other type of membership like this in the future. My advice - go to the location a half dozen times, different days and times that fit your schedule and observe the number - or lack there of- customers. Its my own fault. I joined Massage Envy Mashpee back in 2016. Every time I went, there was NEVER anyone there. No one checking in, no one in the waiting area and more importantly, no one in any of the rooms. My schedule is flexible and I would try to schedule appointments online and was never able to make appointments. it wasnt because they were busy, it was because they didnt have enough therapists to handle the clients. And before anyone blames this on COVID - it has been like this basically from the beginning. Finally - it was suggested that I make the appointments via telephone call (why have a website at all??) so I did that fall of last year, 2021 and made as many appointments as I could with them while speaking with them. And....guess what, the Mashpee location just closed. Closed sometime in October. Just shut up shop. Never told any of their clients. Now, the Hyannis MA location is absorbing the Mashpee clients. Which is great for those that live closer to Hyannis. I come from Falmouth Ma. It was a 20 minute ride to Mashpee. Now, to go to Hyannis without traffic is 40 minutes. It just is not convenient and it is the closest location. The next one is an hour away. Blocking off 3 to 5 hours for travel and services is just not acceptable.And - there is no way to get any thing compensated. with all my difficulty at Mashpee with making appointments, I now have 26 credits available. The new(?) franchise owners are giving those of us from the Mashpee location 60 days to use whatever credits we have. So basically, if I had 3 services done a week over the next 8 weeks, I would use almost all of my credits. The dollar value on that - $1690.So - long story long - and ultimate review - I give them a 1 star as an overall organization.They should have notified their clients of their closing.They should have a partial refund for clients who have so many outstanding appointments - especially if it was the organizations fault that I couldnt make appointments.Seems like a scheme to me.....open up shop, get people to join, dont have enough employees to service clientele (not having to pay employees) but still collecting customers fees.Oh and btw - the same front desk people are now working at Hyannis. I question this. Part of the scam?Looks like I will be contacting the AGs office.Do yourself a favor - go there for services BUT DO NO JOIN the membership.

Massage was fine but it started 7 min late and finished 7 min early. That’s over and above the 5 min to prep and get dressed. Tell it like it is. A 45 to at best 50 min massage not an hour. Mine was about 43 min.

Your front desk staff is rude and has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Yesterday my friend and I went to your business for massages and my friend paid with her debit card and I paid with cash. This evening I checked my checking account and noticed you charged me $50. I called and spoke with a man named Shane who was shamefully rude. I told him I would like that charge reversed since I had paid with cash, which was on my account, and my friend had paid with her debit card which was swiped and signed for. Shane told me I could not speak to him that way since he was not there last night and wouldnt help me. I worked in customer service for 9 years. That is certainly how you do not speak to your customers. I can assure you I have already started telling people about my horrendous experience. I will certainly be calling your corporate office to complain about your location and have this charge rectified.
Receptionist was rude and I was not told that the price would jump $50 for the same service by the receptionist when I booked after my first visit. So I will not be coming back but the actual massage therapist Kena was very good both times.
Ive been a member for a few months, now. Even though theyre like everyone else and somewhat short staffed, the people have been accommodating in getting me what I need. Im impressed with the customer service and my treatments.
My wife and I have been members of Hyannis Massage Envy since 1/04/14 and have had many massages. Recently my wife was informed by her therapist at the Mashpee Massage Envy, that because she had had cancer she could only touch her skin gently! And this therapist was recently trained by Massage Envy. Let me be clear, my wife has been cancer free for 4 years and has had massages throughout her battle with cancer. This was humiliating to her and we will no longer support Massage Envy. We are owed payment for our banked massages and the management refuses to pay us back, even though they caused this problem. Poor service and wrong service according to your own website was responsible for us not wanting to use your service again. In most of the business world proper customer service would be to return the unused and banked services. Your organization made the error and the customer pays, sorry it doesnt seem right.
I just wanted to say how much I loved Kena Scott. She did an amazing job and made me feel like an individual, not just her next massage appointment. She is such a kind woman and will be the only reason I continue my membership at massage envy. Thanks Kena!
My husband bought my daughter and I a gift gard for a mother/daughter massage. when I called to book it, the girl asked for the numbers off the back of the card. After giving her the numbers, she said the gift card was for $131.98 but the massage for the two of us would be $190. That would have been nice information for my husband when he purchased what he thought he was purchasing! CROOKS!!

Had an appointment an hour before closing. Both the front desk attendant and the massage therapist were very nice and didn’t make me feel rushed. The massage was great and the massage therapist was super sweet. Would highly recommend

I started out loving massage envy and would go monthly. Then every time I would find a therapist I enjoyed they would leave. After more than one last minute cancellation for new therapists I decided to cancel. I was refunded for the month I cancelled on which seemed the right thing to do and had 2 massages to use. I was late with the last massage because of a cancellation by them prior this summer. and it is hard to reschedule as the therapist book out in advance. they extended my massage date,Which was nice of them. On my way to my appointment form 25 mins away I was called 14 minutes before to cancel. I had rearrange work and could have been making money had I not had the apt. I then asked to be refunded and they said they would have the manager call me. He did call and he did so promptly but told me because they refunded me the month I cancelled and extended my date they had no reason to refund me. I said thats fine you can keep the money but I will be leaving you reviews. He then said, please leave reviews on Facebook and yelp and I will no longer speak to you anymore because I was threatening him and he hangs up. I am not sure how telling a manager I would be leaving reviews because I was unhappy with their business practices is a personal threat so I called back to speak with the owner. The man then declares he was the Owner I believe named Jerry. He preceded to let me know how many massage stores he owned because he felt for some reason that was important for me to hear and then said, if I didnt understand why saying I would leave reviews on his business because I was unhappy wasnt a threat it was obvious how little education I had and said he would never speak to me again, hangs up again. I am sorry but informing an owner you are unhappy and letting them know you would place reviews stating so is common practice. He could have said I am sorry you feel this way have a nice day or Tried to change my mind and talk to me. This is not a personal threat it is what people do when they feel the need to let others know so they dont end up in the same situation. My advise to Jerry is to separate his emotion from his business practice. As it would have been very easy to have a civil discussion. Please be weary I do believe after speaking with this man this is why it is so hard for them to keep their employees as I have seen so much turnover. When he hung up on me a second time it made me wonder if he would have spoken to a man this way as well.
Very unhappy! I called this morning around nine to see if they had an opening for a cancellation the lady called me back at 11 I called her back immediately and said I could do the 130 appointment I left my home in Bourne and it took me an hour to get here I got a call literally two minutes before 130 and was told somebody else took my appointment I went into the place and they had nothing to tell me nothing to offer, I also called them back a number of times during my commute to Hyannis to make sure that it was booked on able to reach them horrible customer service very unhappy will not be going here again

My massage was ok though I know it wasnt an hour long. The masseuse I had wouldnt shut up and Im not the type to say be quiet, she went on and on about her keto diet and called me debbie downer. I wont be going back again
You have to visit Massage Envy for a facial. The staff in Hyannis are so nice and attentive to your individual needs. Nubbia gives an exceptional facial and is so kind-hearted.

All of the reviews about this place are true and when I wrote one myself on Yelp and the owner instead of trying to make things right when right on ahead and just told me how wrong I was for writing a review and had a horrible attitude, I have been getting massages at massage envy for years and have never had even 1 complaint , I was charged for a full hour and a half (and I left a 20 dollar tip) for 15 minute of a massage because I left after fifteen minutes because my therapist was coughing and sneezing and blowing his nose every two minutes and talking about how carona is fake and just the flu, in the middle of a pandemic, the owner and front desk were the real problems though it was disgusting that they would try to tell me I am wrong for writing a review when I did ask to speak to the manager and paid anyway to be nice so hopefully that paints a picture as well of what kind of business they are running and obviously I’m not the first to write a review
