Craft beer but make it GAY! This is an awesome local dive. The staff are absolutely the BEST! The cocktails are equally as good as the beer and their weekly events are so much fun. In the summer, be sure to sit out on the patio and just chill. Prefect spot!

I have been visiting Pint for 6 years. Its a wonderful place! Good vibes, good drinks, incredible service. Tonight MAX was a phenomenal host, super kind, helpful, friendly, excellent bartender who prepares the best drinks, like the GreenTea Shot; it was unbeatable! I recommend 100% to anyone who visits Jersey City and wants to have an amazing time.

The bartenders are always fantastic. Its a great place to hang out when its not crowded. When there is a crowd it can get difficult to make it to the bar. Nice mix of outdoor space

Max is such a bad bartender. Every time that I come in max is so rude it almost is like his is homophobic towards people. The two times that I have been in here he has throw my ID at me after he has asked to check it. He just really has a bad vibe.

TV time!There was once a time when one visited a bar to mingle with and talk to other people.At this bar, however, those days appear to have retreated faster than you can say ‘hopscotch’.Walking in, I was immediately greeted by four giant TV screens.Spinning around, I saw no less than three others - all treating us to a different show, be it Baywatch, the Power Puff Girls, something to do with sport, etc.Needless to say, making conversation at this bar proved challenging because either your own or your wisdom recipient’s eyes would be continually drawn to the iridescent multi-colored flashing boxes lining the walls like soldiers at the late Queen’s Coronation.Everything else was lovely and the ‘stand’ or ‘sit’ toilet signs - for the latter, maybe read s*** - were hilarious, a photo of which I attach.

The “Martini Mondays” cannot be beat. $5 for a regular size martini (many options to choose from) prepared by a friendly bartender that makes sure the glass is practically overflowing. What’s not to like?

I can’t answer back on your review1- it wasn’t 3 months it was 3 or 4 weeks and we had an agreement that someone gonna cover me2- IM not mad that there’s no job for me and i know things happen and honestly i don’t care but when i filed for unemployment you said that i quit and that’s sir not true

The bartenders were super sweet to us and even kicked out a guy who was harassing me and my friend. The drinks are very appealing and the people are super nice. The only problem is that their space is too small.

This used to be my comfort bar (2020-2021)… Max, the bartender, slowly pushed me away - he is extremely rude and aggressive so I stopped coming. He is very unpleasant and tried to double charge me one time.

Bartenders are hella rude. This place is riding on the fact that it is one of the few gay places in jersey city. I have been here multiple times and bartenders usually seem bothered or address you in a negative tone unless you know them in which case they treat you like royalty. True locals know this place is thrash

I recently visited Pint and had a great time as always! The selection of beers and cocktails was excellent, and the bartenders were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend Pint to anyone looking for a fun night out with great drinks.

Pint is the perfect neighborhood bar! Max is an absolutely outstanding bartender with a great personality. Great ownership as well! Highly recommend!

I would say that there is a great environment even though the place is cute but very small. It is not a place to hang with many friends. My only complaint is that they dont accept cash or electronic contactless payment with your phone. The just accept cards. Really...! What Year are this people living? No very convenient.

I always have a great time at Pint. The environment is diverse and friendly, the bartenders are amazing, the variety of drinks are exceptional, prices are reasonable and my favorite part is the creative events they host. Whether it’s a regular trivia night, a fundraising event, or a themed celebration, there is always something going on at Pint!

For a first time here, I very much enjoy this bar. Unfortunately, I must dock them 2 stars for very obvious reasons:1.) They dont accept cash. Ive never been to a bar where this is the case and I just dont like places that are going cashless.2.) Happy hour on the website says until 8pm, but when I got there at 7:30pm, the board shows it is until 7pm.The fact that its a gay bar and friendly bartenders wants me to push it towards 4 stars but to brutally honest, its a 3 star bar until they fix those two things mentioned above in my personal opinion.

I was a regular pre-COVID going back to 2017-2019, but did not come by as much in 2020-2021 as I was playing it safe.Since then though Ive become a regular once again. Every night Ive been here has been a fun and positive experience. All of the bartenders over the years have been fantastic. Was sad to see some of them leave (Jason, John...among others). All are friendly, open, and overall just make you feel at home. The other regular patrons are the same way.The drinks are affordable and there are always new beers to try. My personal favorite is their sangria, which they also change up every so often. You can also play your own music in the bar on the Rockbot app which is so amazing.Its pretty difficult to find a local bar like Pint. Its just one of those gems that you can always return to whether its a chill night or more of a turn up, doesnt matter!

This place has really fun trivia on Wednesday nights at 8! It is pretty small, so you have to get there early to grab a table. The happy hour deals are great and end at 8, which is another reason to get there early. $1 shots and $3 mix drinks and $3 Millers. Highly recommend!

Yes yes yes. God bless Jay (bartender). He can corral a rowdy group, make you a great drink, be timely, keep a good atmosphere going, and do it all with a smile. Bravo, hun!Nice, quaint, straight-to-the-point kind of place w/ good selection of brews and cocktails that aren’t overpriced. Snacks, too. Really like coming here to get away from the usual.

Awesome place and Nick the bartender is friggin awesome. Great vibe and very accepting of all types of patrons. Great outdoor patio for smokers. I am not a beer person but if you are into craft beers, it is a great place with an awesome selection.

Their Sunday night drink specials are the best. For the rest of the week, id say the prices are fair to high. On Sundays, a double cocktail will only set you back around $5 and theyve got free popcorn behind the bar, if the bartenders have time to serve it. Service is always very friendly, and the bar has a positive, fun atmosphere. Just dont ask for a free rubber ducky bath toy garnish for your discounted beer. They dont seem to like that. Lastly, they have a covered outdoor drinking/smoking area in the back. If the weather is bad, its a great place on Sundays to drink and hang without getting rained on.

Pint has the best beers in Jersey City Downtown. Always an interesting crew. I know they have trivia but I havent had a chance to play that yet. Worth checking out if youre into craft beers

They dont accept cash 🤦🤷 I mean... Love the spot, great vibe, but cmon. Not all visitors use cards. Had to give my drink back cuz they told me after my drink was served n it was pretty awkward.

How many cute dudes can you fit in a phone booth? Of course most of the guys in this pint-sized neighborhood bar have never used a phone booth except maybe for a quick costume change.As the name suggests the specialty is craft beers, both in bottles and on tap, and the photogenic bar staff know their stuff. Wait times are minimal as they really hustle and the prices are good.It is on some level a gay bar but it seems to be a neighborhood favorite with everyone, and the crowd is extremely friendly and diverse. Weve been maybe a dozen times and never fail to get into a good conversation with someone.Only negative, if you can call it that, is it does get amoebas-in-a-jar crowded sometimes.

Service is pretty good. Beer selection is good, a mix of bottles and draft. Can get really packed in there depending on the time. Big LGBT community hang out. Street parking only.

Went to the bar a couple of times since the pandemic. I was by myself and every time I went they wouldnt let me in. I thought this wasnt a big deal since they have limited seating but they rejected me and preceded to let a group of three guys in for drinks. Love the drinks but Im done.

Pretty cool little place, decent selection of craft beers. Trivia night on Wednesdays is defiantly a blast but the regulars will usually smoke you at it. Think well try and make this a regular thing.

Pint, the quaint local gay bar at 34 Wayne Street, is one wonderful pub In Downtown Jersey City. Pint has reasonably priced and varied drinks and their marvelous and fun Upshow TV screen with photos and short videos, and television screens showing movies snd music videos. However, the true major plus is the bartending team. Manager Tommy, bartenders Sayeed, Peter and Max are all efficient, personable and quite handsome. This bar is open to all comers and it is a big reason I adore living in lovely Jersey City.

Cool place, they offer happy hour & Daily Specials, like Martini Mondays, trivia on Wednesdays, etc. All types of people go there and they dont discriminate but it is considered the neighborhoods gay bar.

Asked for my ID and I showed him my university ID but the bartender asked for a resident card. I showed my epassport but he wanted the physical ID. Not for tourist

This is the only gay bar in JC... The drinks are well priced, but not always made well. This bar is also very small. Expect to feel claustrophobic.

I wrote a rather long and scathing review based on an incident the other night about being charged incorrectly and the drama that ensued. I decided to come back and give the place a chance and met Max, the manager. We had a long and productive chat about the mix-ups with their new computer. It turned out to be a nice visit. Same thing the next night. Tonight I stopped in and was waited on by the original bartender. He was very polite and we spoke and came to an understanding. This is a nice place and the beer is great. Ill be back any time Im in Jersey City.
