Absolutely love this smoke shop!!! Rich, the owner, is one of the most awesome people. He not only completely knows what hes talking about when it comes to his products, he is always super welcoming and friendly. Im in here a few times a month and he is always fully stocked with whatever I need. I always love coming here and I highly suggest checking this place out, definitely the best smoke shop in the area!

Dont let the phone book name fool you, A #1 is absolutely A #1 - !This smoke shop has been around for years. And theres good pizza at the restaurant next door. Double win!Both the owner and the weekend guy are knowledgeable about the products they sell and they really want to see to it that you make the right decision and end up with a product youre happy with, even if it takes more than one visit to commit to something.The prices and selection are comparable to what youll find online, plus they have their own online store. Today I went to A #1 smoke shop. Rich was super helpful, I had no clue what I was looking for and her walked through everything with me. He gave me his honest opinion on each items. He was really great & helpful. I left very happy. If anyone is in jersey city I highly recommend this place. I definitely will be coming back!

I moved to North Jersey 6 months ago but continued going to NYC because I hadnt found a local smoke shop that I liked and/or that wasnt a rip off. A #1 is my new go to place!Without a second thought, I would recommend this place to anyone and know that they are in good hands. Rich is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to explain different product lines/options which are reasonably priced and makes solid recommendations. I’ve had the most positive experiences at A#1 smoke shop. Every question I’ve had about a kit were answered and explained thoroughly. Any new items they had I was introduced to. Previous smoke shops I’ve been to weren’t as interactive and weren’t that interested in trying to explain their products. The owner is definitely knowledgeable of the selections he has and I highly recommend going there.

The guy who runs this place is extremely nice. Very knowledgeable about the types of products he sells and will help you find what you are looking for at the right price. I bought my first vape here and it was definitely the best place to do it. Its also nice that hes local, so that I can drop by to get more e-juice whenever Im out.

I used to come here from time to time to buy wraps and this time i bought the wrong kind so i was thinking okay ill just go and exchange it for the other one, but the OWNER refused to exchange because he couldnt even though i have done this before in other places is not that big of a deal and the wraps had the same price! I am super unhappy i loved this place! so close to home and great products but he just lost a costumer for something that he could have easily done! and please sir dont answer my review i am posting this so people are aware of how unprofessional this place is.

My first time here was WAY better. Second time, HORRIBLE. Change the person behind the counter!Trying to put down other local businesses in order to uplift yours is unprofessional, among other words.Saying that you’re high end and “not like bodega” is inappropriate considering that your in a predominantly black and brown area. Those bodegas you’re referring to are other people’s main resource.Oh yeah and just because my fiancé and I had sweats on doesn’t mean we aren’t knowledgeable. The store associate was rude and spoke to us as if we had no knowledge and when we demonstrated we did, he continued to speak to us as if we didn’t. That type of stereotype is unacceptable. Don’t forget to check your biases ESPECIALLY now, welcome to Jersey City, where brown and black people fund your businesses so treat us with some respect!

A breath of fresh professional vape in Jersey City Heights!Stopped by on my way home to pick up a few supplies, and was delighted by the bright colors and wide selection of wares. Staff was knowledgable, friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed. Was really a nice change from other places in the area. Will definitely stop by again!

Moved here around a year ago saw this was the closest smoke shop to my house after having bad encounters with other smoke shop. Walked in first time the owner was very helpful, knowledgable, and friendly with my smoking needs. Carries a wide selection of items that fit for all smoking recreational uses. Originally walked in for a juul pod walked out with a very RESONABLEY priced vapor mod and tank. I still visit other smoke shops to compare prices but never as good as a1 smoke shop prices. Highly recommend to people who are in search for a new smoke shop.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! I come from Westchester NY and own a limo business and happened to stroll in for a vapor refill. I met this guy named Rich who was so patient, knowledgable and accomodating that I spent like an hour in there! He has such a great selection of products, reasonable prices, and provides superior service that now it is my go to place for all my vape needs! I hated traveling to NJ because of the traffic but this place is worth the trip! Wether you are an experienced vape or a newbie, Rich will be the best person to hook you up! Came here when my usual order of Kratom (by mail) was stolen. Very helpful and informative staff. I use kratom to help with RLS instead of Tramadol. Worked much better from where I normally order! Will be back!

Not very big place but for somewhere so small it has everything I’ve needed ,plus more(See- ring a bell).Each time that I go I see something new. It has all of your needs for anything that you’re going to want.
