Massage Envy

This massage envy is in the plaza shopping area. There are 2 hours parking space in the front. This place is very clean and can do massage, facial and stretch. There are two nice restaurants next door so you can enjoy lunch, drinks or dinner after massage:)

Positive experience. Dont believe the negative reviews. From start to finish; massage envy treated me great and I loved my massage. Plus I made my reservation online. Its way faster and you get to pick masseuse. First experience where I didnt have to wait and I wasnt rejected due to lack of employees.

Great location, clean with a lot of treatment rooms., newly renovated/expanded. Bathrooms are well maintained. The front desk looks good but the waiting area looks boring. They offer water while waiting but sometimes they run out of cups. There’s a high turnover of staff. Massage therapists do come and go. It’s If you ever get a facial be prepared for the marketing recommendations of their skin products.

I booked the buy 1 get 1 free offer last month. Due to covid my original appointment was pushed back a month. I was told at the time there was nothing wrong with this and I wont affect the free massage.I am now told this offer is no longer valid and they will not cancel my first appointment.I was hesitant to go here in the first place because they charge 2x the price of other places and only give you 50 minutes massage instead of a full hour.There are plenty of places to go other than here.My massage is tomorrow morning and I guarantee nothing will be done to resolve this.

I used to have a membership a long time ago but my favorite massage therapist, Leslie, left. Did she move to another location? I’d sign up in a heartbeat at whatever location she moved to!

I dont expect this company to reach out to me but I felt the need to share my experience with others.My appointment was scheduled for 4:30 pm and I was instructed to arrive at 4:10 and text them when I got there then wait for instructions. I arrived at 4:00 and texted the number and at 4:03 I received the response of Thank you for letting us know we will let you know when we are ready for you. I waited in my car like I was told and I wasnt instructed to come inside until 4:25! As I was walking in, a massage therapist was RUNNING in from the garage (I didnt know this at the time but it was my therapist). I walked in and the 2 receptionists were not prepared and gave me the ipad to fill my information out. I completed the forms and handed it back. One woman started to looked at it then at her watch and said to the other receptionist, Oh, it is 4:37 and her appointment started at 4:30. Take her to the bathroom so she can wash her hands. I washed me hands then went to the room. I met the therapist (who smelt like a massive cigarette so that unpleasant during a massage) and we discussed my forms/problem areas then she told me to get undressed. So, by the time I was on the table to get massaged it was almost 4:50. The massage was not terrible but she seemed inexperienced... I went in to release tension causing tension headaches and she kept rolling over the knots on my neck which did not feel good AT ALL. After I was done, she told me to get dressed and she would meet me outside. I did so but looked around for her yet, NEVER SAW HER AGAIN. I walked to the front desk and looked at my watch and it was 5:28. I left her a $20 tip because I worked in the service industry so I understand living off tips. BUT YOU DO THE MATH... I wasnt escorted back until 4:37, bathroom, spoke with therapist then laid on table and paid at 5:28! I paid for a 60 minute massage!!! WHAT A JOKE!!! WILL NOT RETURN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND!

Ive been coming to this place for a while because its so close to where I live. But never again. Their therapists are inconsistent. After telling the therapist that Id slept wrong and my neck and shoulders were very tight, she literally applied no pressure. She asked me if I wanted more pressure. I told her yes. She applied pressure momentarily and then just stopped. Even worse, after communicating that it was the worse massage Id ever had, they still had me pay the full cost of the service.

The service wasn’t the expected. I ordered a deep massage and they put me with somebody who didn’t gave me the service I was expecting. I have a good tip to avoid any issue but I’m never coming back

I like the therapist, the location while convenient leaves some to be desired. The a/c was out today, a 91 degree day. I was not informed of this or offered to reschedule. It has been broken for some days it sounded like and will he fixed on Monday? (Today is Wednesday). The furniture has stained upholstery. They could use some cleanable furniture in the waiting areas. The parking is in a sketchy garage in an unoccupied building near by or on the street. This is part of life on the plaza, I feel like this business would be better suited to another location.

Awesome staff. On time, super efficient, great range of services and feels fabulous! Terrific convenience to be able to pop in there during my busy day, going back to nonstop meetings feeling refreshed.

One of the best massages I have ever had. Johanna is incredibly strong and really knows what she’s doing. I’m a Crossfitter and marathon runner, so massage therapy is imperative to me, and this was d finitely a five star massage. Service was friendly, and the establishment is clean!

So impressed with everything about this location! They really go above and beyond! Bernie gives the best massage I have ever had! Kepia one of the managers was not only professional, but demonstrated excellent customer service. This is definitely a spa that I will recommend to my family and friends!

***Do not buy a membership from this place!*** I bought a membership for both me and my girlfriend, received some of the worst massages Ive ever received. Couldnt get out of the membership and management didnt care what I had to say. My girlfriend was unable to use some of her massages before they expired so I was going to use them. They were charging me a transfer fee to transfer them from her account to mine which was all paid for by me in the first place. If you want to get bad massages and even worse customer service then go ahead and spend your money here!!!

I ride a motorcycle from Ohio to Kansas City once a month for business, and my muscles are usually pretty sore by the time I get here. This time on my second day here I decided to get a 90 min massage at this location with Stephanie and it was honestly the best massage I’ve gotten in SO long!! I often leave massages feeling less satisfied than I would like, but that wasn’t the case with Stephanie! I’m definitely going to be returning here to see her each month while I’m in town.

I hesitate to write a review because my massage therapist is already so busy and selfishly I want her to always be available for me... but seriously. Lesley is life changing. Her massage technique is great for injuries and/or more serious needs for massage therapy. I have Ehlers Danlos and have a lot of dislocations and soft tissue trauma and my monthly massages have been crucial to keeping me healthy. I havent booked with anyone other than Lesley, so I cant speak to the quality of other therapists at this location, but the location itself is nice and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.

This company is shady! Do not get in contract with them! They take your money and rip you off. I was told by one of their customer reps in order to transfer one of my sessions, I had to leave the person’s name and number. I did that. The person never called and booked the appointment. I was charged for the session anyway. The customer service is lousy. They made a mistake and wouldn’t correct it!

I just had my second massage at this location today. The reception staff were polite and professional.My therapist Chas was incredible...I highly recommend him!

Misleading booking and unreasonable cancelation policy.When I booked the appointment the same day they mislead me about the time required to travel to the location. Then when it became impossible for me to make it in time they told me they would charge me half the cost of the appointment even though I made the appointment that day. To top it off, they had booked me a more expensive longer appointment than we discussed.I have been a Message Envy member for roughly 4 years and have visited locations across the US. This is the first time I have been mislead like this and taken for a ride. Very disappointing.

Ive been getting massages once every other month.. I tried Massage Envy for the first time.. I went in for a Relaxation massage. I was hardly ever relaxed. The ladys hands were cold everytime she placed them on me. The lotion was cold.. My back was very tight and she never used any hot towels to loosen it. Instead she used full body pressure which was very UNCOMFORTABLE And painful.. She rubbed my hands and feet all of 20 secs each. OVERALL EXPERIENCE not good..

I love the staff here and the customer service. I sent my mother and aunt here for a gift and they were treated very well. It was their first massage and they enjoyed the atmosphere, the helpfulness of the staff and quality of the service. They have both requested to go back.

Money grabbers. Went to book an appointment told them I was calling back in 5 minutes to enter my card info and they booked my slot within 5 minutes. Clearly only care about making money and not at all about their customers. Plenty of other places in the city to go and I’ll never ever come back there

I highly recommend Josh or Leslie, if you can get on their schedule. Ive had a membership for 5 years and love it. The front desk attendants are all super nice and fun!

I thought it would be awkward but it wasnt at at. Im a construction worker and I have a lot of persistent aches and pains so my girlfriend bought me a session as a gift. The masseuse was extremely professional, was able to reduce my muscle soreness significantly. I left feeling light as a feather.

Johanna is really good! I’m gonna continue seeing her until Mykesha has an opening for my particular needs. Ask for these two if you’re an athlete or in need of a good massage session. Parking sucks over here and the construction inside of the establishment is a bit off putting but it’s all worth it with these two. Show up early if you want a good parking spot foreal foreal, lol.

I had Leslie as my massage therapist, and she is an amazing Therapeutic massage therapist. I was having trouble breathing due to the various adhesions and muscle spasms. Leslie knew what to do and did it very well. I feel so much better!

Save yourself a headache and do not sign up for the membership. They will say anything to you to convince you to sign up.. and they will lie to you. For the time they were closed for COVID, they offered to stop the payments for 2 months because they were closed.. well now to their convinience they extended my contract without me knowing. They are very rude.

I don’t recommend at first they treat you good with respect . Then after they don’t try and work things out with you. I went in 10 minutes late because of am unexpected traffic. When I got there they told me they could not take me no more and had already charge for my appointment that I did not even go in for .

My massage was very disappointing. They lady barely did anything at all and cut me 10 min before my time was up! I came with two of my sisters at the same time for the same length of time and I sat and waited for my sisters to come out for ten min.

This place was the best and the girl up front named Erin was sooooo helpful,!!!

Ernest has over 12 years of experience and wow could I feel that knowledge and experience in my very therapeutic, relaxing, pain-relieving massage for a weary body and soul with history of multiple orthopedic survives. Much appreciated!

I was shocked to read the reviews that said they werent impressed. Ive always found (over the past year) the staff at the front desk to be really very polite, the rooms clean and the technicians really good.

Ive called Massage Envy at least twice no one ever answers the phone. Ill try one more time, do I have to go there to ask questions about a massage, time & prices. WOW!!!!

I love the service, the massuess are fantastic, and the extras such as cucumber water and spray deodorant are a must. Ive been going for years and have no intention of stopping anytime soon.

If you want/need a deep tissue massage ask for Mackenzie. She is crazy strong and fixed my tight neck.

Since the managements changed, the service is really bad. Go to another Massage Envy. The staff is hardly qualified now, with a new employee every few months.
