Definitely not open 24 hours. I work overnight and drove 20 minutes after work to this location for it to be closed. They even have a big sign saying they are open 24 hours. Will definitely never be back, especially since I dont even know when they are actually open.

This place started out decent. Had a couple regular faces staffing the place that sort of knew the product. As soon as the competition on Parallel dropped, so too did the quality of this location.Now, most of the people there couldnt rub two nickels together.Gotta pay people more. You need sales people, not just warm bodies. Do more than the vampire test. 24 hour operation in KCK without an armed guard is begging for trouble.Good news is the place on Parallel is back in business under a new name and new ownership. Stay away from chains like Vapor Maven.

This place is excellently ran, largely I believe due to the manager Billie - shes extremely knowledgeable, gives great suggestions when im shopping. That girl deserves a raise - I thought she owned the store!

I jumped the gun on this Review! Other than Billy there is only 1 other person knowledgeable about the products. Good prices, clueless employees!

Unfortunately, like most smoke shops so far in the KC area. Everyone that works in them is “new”, too high for the job and clueless about the product, their inventory and etc. Vapor Maven specifically, runs its customers away. It has no idea how to help or provide and give feedback in which I could receive service.Each visit they either, don’t have what I want, can’t get what I want, no longer provide what I what want and can’t update when they will restock. Their answers are so short. They might as well ask their customers. “Please get out, there is nothing for you here”Do these guys a favor and let their business run out. “Order online” should be their slogan.Long story short: this business cannot help you. They don’t want to help, they don’t care if they help. And being in their store makes them nervous because it would mean they have to do a job. Or Heaven forbid, aid you. I will not be return here and taking my business quite literally up the road.

This is my GO TO vape shop, mainly because Billie runs it like a well oiled machine. If the store is out of my normal brand - she knows when itll be in and gives me top notch alternatives.

I am so glad to come again and again, because this guy is a professional! It helps to choose what really works best! I advise everyone to visit this store, precisely in those days when this person works!

Great selection and good customer service for the most part. I just wish that theyd get some employees that would actually stay because every time I ask a new person a question about an item, they usually dont have an answer for me. Understandably so, being that theyre new.🤷‍♀️ A few years ago it was the same people consistently.

Pulled up December 1st @ 6:30am and it in fact isn’t 24 hours a day. I guess someone called in today ? Lol…

Worst vapor maven in existence. Their supply of disposables is dwindling. Ive had to switch brands the last 4 visits to this location. Shawnee Vapor Maven will be getting my business or a different chain.

Ive been going there for awhile. I went to buy a product and found out it had been 1/2 off for a month. The week before the person lied to me and charged me full price. I told the guy working, he called his boss and they gave me what I purchased for free. Ill always go there. Love them.!!!

I give 5 stars to Big John and Billie. They made our experience feel very fun and welcoming.My husband and I have been coming to this vape shop for the last 2 years. We’re regularly spending over $200 a month at this location.With that being said, in two years we have seen many people come and go.I am giving one star because with the more recent change to business hours, we go in super early in the morning (between 5-7am) due to our work schedules. The new lady they have working overnight (based on my receipt her name is Melissa), she’s not very welcoming or friendly. She doesn’t have any knowledge of the product. When we request something her response is “we don’t have it” or “I don’t see it” I have to pull out my phone and use my camera zoom to find the products for her.Example, today, ask for TFV9 coils… she looks at one shelf of coils “we don’t have it” then after looking again at another shelf she finds it. We then ask for GeekVape Supermesh coils…. Again, “I don’t see it. Only mesh” I kept repeating SUPERmesh. She still couldn’t find it. I pull out my phone use my zoom and BAM! There they are on the top shelf.When you go into any sort of smoke shop, you want to interact with people who are 1) friendly and welcoming 2)have knowledge of the product (if even only a little as long as they are willing to learn). As a long time vape user, I sometimes go into the shop asking for recommendations. There isn’t anything she would be able to recommend as it seems she has very very little to ZERO knowledge of the products.

Not open 24 hours as advertised. Here at 10:23 PM and they are counting money with the door locked.**UPDATE** I am now here weeks later at 630PM and the store has the Open light on with the door locked.

WOW! What a life saver! It’s 1a n my coil is burnt! N I soon find out that was my last coil! Normally I’d be totally screwed til 10a! BUT NOT ANYMORE! Vapor Maven recently started staying OPEN 24hrs a day! Totally saved me tonight! N I’m surprised no other store has done this! Not only did this save me tonight, it’s also awesome for all of us that works nights n anyone leaving the bar n need a coil or a disposable or some juice. Ik from now on, I’ll only shop here. Especially knowing I can come here when it’s convenient to my schedule. Thank you Vapor Maven for staying open 24/7

Sold me defective pods and they refused to exchange them or refund my money. Dont shop here they dont guarantee the stuff they sell and most stuff you can order online for half the price. If this store guaranteed its products I would pay the markup and shop here. Dont recommend any business that doesnt guarantee the products they sell.

I love that my GFs favorite juice is called PMS. Also, why would i go anywhere else?UPDATED: Congratulations on getting $7 out of me for 1 ceramic coil that costs $2-$3 1 mile down the road... We get it, people are quitting vaping and sales have gone down. You Do Not double your price to compensate... now youve lost a loyal customer and im not the first and wont be the last.PS. The last 2 associates didnt put my rewards number in or even ask me to do so. The whole store is not what it used to be. I give it 4 to 5 more months before they shutdown..

I firmly believe this location sells counterfeit or fake coils. Clear difference in coils when I buy them from here and they only last a day before tasting like trash and when I get them elsewhere and one coil lasts several days before a taste change.

I go to this location at Kansas city Kansas alot. Ive been in retail service for over 30 years so I can say with confidence that the service here is top notch. Jennica usually helps me and she is wonderful - friendly and has great product suggestions. Kyle has helped me too and same goes for him - quick to help me and great service. Thank you both for doing a great job! Everybody needs to visit this location!

The source this store sucks before you even get in the door they only take exact change or cards God forbid they take cash they suck dont go there ever.

The people here are very friendly!! Bree is ALWAYS so helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the products. I’ve been in many other Vapor Maven stores in my area and by far this is the cleanest, most organized, and friendliest one that I’ve been in!!!!!!

Ive been to Vapor Maven a few times and the service was always excellent. I thought it would always be my store, but recently a friend of mine who is not white like me visited your store THREE TIMES to buy me liquid for my vape and was given the run around at each visit. She even had my last bottle of liquid as an example of what I want. I am through with Vapor Maven.

I have been going to Vapor Maven since the store started. Its always a been a good place to get vape juice, cbd products, and also kratom energy products.

Nic is like the best to talk to when finding a device and what flavors to get! Recommend talking to him if his in there with you! And for the back wall Johnny is great to talk to with pieces and wraps. Perfect team working - Greg

The guy working there was really helpful. I hit him with a bunch of questions and he was able to give me a bunch of information. The prices were pretty good, about what you would see eat most places.

I love that theres quite a few around so I can stop by depending on which area Im in. Kratom is a little more expensive there but thats inflation for ya. Still a 5 star establishment.

This is the second time I’ve had issues with this store and the reason I will never return. I said that the first time I had the issues and I gambled in here I am saying it again. From their staff to the owner or manager of the store they do not know the products and they’re not customer oriented. Even the guy that helped me today says I don’t know anything about vapes. I bought a new tank today April 24th and I come back two hours saying the tank is not working properly and they can’t help me. If anybody reads this please understand it if you have any issues with any products you buy here you’re up poo dee doo creek. If you need to purchase products for your vape or anything else go to the Shawnee Mission location they will take care I should’ve took the extra 15 minutes to go to that location. This is the worse place ever. I feel like a fool for walking back into to this establishment.

The gentleman working was super helpful. Had exactly what I needed and went above and beyond when I couldnt get the bottle open.

Im a long time customer, spend hundreds of dollars a month. I walked in on Sunday happy that I get to use my 1000 points after I spend around 100 dollars. Which that means Ive spent a 1000 dollars, well you use to get 100 points which is about 10%. Well now you get 3%. This is the only reason I buy what I need threw vapor maven. They have lost my business and I will never recommend again. And Im putting the word out.

This small, locally owned chain is the only vape shop I go to, pretty much ever, unless I am out of the Kansas/Missouri area. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly staff at every location since they split from Vapor World.If they dont know the answers to the questions you are asking, they either call someone more knowledgeable than they are, or they will spend the time to Google the questions with you. Pride in their stores, and in their work shines through. 5 stars easy

Says open from 9am to 9pm. Here at 2pm with the door locked and the open sign blinking open, lies! Over priced and has gotten worse over the years.

Staff is always super friendly and a pleasure to interact with. They are helpful and knowledgeable about most if not all of the products and give great juice recommendations!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. They never have the coils for the vapes they sell and cant even get them in. They will sell you a comparable product at a higher price. If the sell you a product and run out of the juice or coils good luck on ever getting them there again. Their point system has been wrong since new management took over. Ive spent thousands of dollars there since going to them years ago and they have gone down hill since.

First off these guys go weeks on end without getting new shipment of coils causing you to have to Vape on burnt tasting juice and then they have the nerve to sell certain tanks but then not even still the replacement coils for them if it wasnt for the few cashiers that I like there I would never go there under any circumstance and also they have a customer point system that is terrible and doesnt yield any decent rewards until you spent over $1,000 I really wish a new vape store will get built in the area so I can change my locations

This is the 4th time ive come to this shop and they arent open during theyre normal store hours. It is now currently 20 minutes past open and nothing. I guess these guys just open whenever they feel like it.

Walked in looked up and down both sides of the store couldn’t find what I needed and not once did I get greeted by the employee or even acknowledged. So I just walked out. Terrible first time experience.

Consistently awful customer service. Clerks willfully ignoring customers to talk with each other or finish up a personal call is incredibly disrespectful-- yet I feel like this keeps happening to me here.

This location is now open 24/7, the Google hours are not accurate.

Employees are unintelligent on the products they sell, half are too preoccupied to even learn or pay attention to what their grabbing. Their other places with employees who are knowledgeable on the products they sell. This is NOT one.

Bought a tank on 2/18 and find out the dip tip is crack a piece fall out and went into my mouth I took it back and they will not exchange or try to help me out but try to sell me another piece. DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE

Vapor Maven is alright, if all you want is vape juice. They have a good selection of vape juice, but like other stores dont carry anything higher than 6mg nicotine.If you want parts for your vape, make sure to double check everything youre looking at with sources from the internet. The manager sold me numerous parts for my Smok Prince v12 telling me theyd all work, and none of them fit at all. I was able to return the drip tip/chambers but not the coils she sold me.

I’ve been to a lot of vape shops, but instant warm welcome when you walk through the door, dope staff, lots of options, AND the store is clean and organized

I can always go in there ask questions about anything with no problem. Very friendly & clean. Its the only place I go to Vale juice and CBD OIL.
