Very friendly people at this location. I was greeted by the most friendly lady at the check in counter. We had a lovely conversation. My therapist for massage was very knowledgeable and skilled. She sent me away with some suggestions to further open some very tight shoulders. Thanks Tara.The one thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the washroom. I always expect a spa to be pretty spotless and clean and it could use a little more attention in that area.

Update 12/20:2nd visit, did not disappoint. I cannot say one negative word about Maui Massage!I had some serious muscle issues and my massage therapist used deep tissue techniques and helped to alleviate greatly my discomfort.Very professional, clean and safe.I made another appointment for next week!January 2019:Such a warm, inviting and comfortable space. Very clean and accommodating, talented therapists and friendly staff....they know their stuff, from deep tissue massage to accupuncture. So soothing and calm, great essential oils too.Be sure to make an appointment, they are always busy!Easy to find, plentiful parking

I visited this place twice during my trip to Maui: the first time with my husband, for a body massage, and the second by myself for a facial. Both massages were excellent, mine was one of the best Ive ever had. The facial was fantastic, I looked and felt younger. I highly recommend this small business that punches above its weight in quality of service.

We went to Maui in January and Ive held onto Maui Massage & Spas card, as the gal at the front desk gave it to me and included our masseuses names, Kape and Claire. My husband said his massage with Claire was incredible and potentially the best massage hes ever had. Kape did the hot-stone massage on me and it was fantastic. We will be going back to Maui again next year and well definitely book again!

Just there first time today. Went on recommendation of a friend to ask for Renee. Massage was great. Very relaxing. She asked about pressure and what she gave was exactly as needed. She paid more attention to the areas I said needed it but still managed to find time for the entire body. Very impressed.

I guess it really depends on therapist…. Mine never checked in about pressure or what area I wanna work on (I did mentioned in the paper I signed). I thought the old lady is very experienced so I didn’t talk and let her do the work. It turned out that I almost didn’t feel anything - it was way too soft. But I felt sorry to say that in front of her cause she obviously tried. On the other hand my BF’s therapist asked the area he wanted to work on and focused on that area, and the pressure was good (almost hurt a little bit according to him). I asked for the $109 sports massage on their website and confirmed my BF needs a $109 deep tissue through the phone. We were told that we were switched to the $125 one on site and the front desk lady asked us to pay before the service. Hmmmmmm…..

My husband and I both had deep tissue massages with Neng. Both of our massages were amazing and we are very picky. She is excellent, intuitive, gets deep in there to sort you out. With deep tissue as always there’s intensity but somehow it managed to still be restful and delightful.

We had the mini facial and massage. They were able to get all 3 girls in at the same time and we all enjoyed the service. I was booked with Kape and he was amazing. Very professional, he gave a very relaxing massage and checked in for pressure preference often. The mini facial was great as well. I’m glad that we chose this location for our massage while visiting.

I had a great massage! Renae was my masseuse. She really found the knots on my back and was able to loosen them really well. I was so relaxed and refreshed. This place is quiet and clean. I will definitely go again if I have the opportunity!

I just had an amazing 90 min massage with Kape..It was a deep tissue massage with techniques from many different massage modalities including hot stone and stretch. Kabe checked in often about pressure and my comfort. It was relaxing and very therapeutic.The owner, Diane was thoughtful and accommodating . The room was very clean and comfortable. The sound level outside was minimal.I was so pleased with my experience I booked again for next week. The price was a very reasonable $170 +gratuity. Beth

I get massages from Wenjie on a regular basis, she is incredible. She helps me with my pain and I always feel amazing when I leave. I highly recommend her. She does Chinese massage as one of her modalities in which she trained and learned in China. I always feel amazing after!!!

I opted for deep tissue massage and Tara really knew what she was doing. She also provided great tips for me on things to do to help stretch my problem areas on the daily. Wenji is absolutely amazing. I have seen her a handful of times and each time I want another hour ✨️ Pure bliss but also stretches me and gets in my tight muscles as releases the facia. I am an acmvid bodybuilder and she knows exactly what I need 😀🤝😍💓. I highly recommend not only Wenji but the entire staff is incredibly helpful including the owner Diane who is a beacon of light.

One of the best Massages weve had. We dis a couples massage on beach side in kihei. It was so relaxing listening to the waves and bird all while having a great massage that felt amazing. We will be doing this every yr when we go. Highly recommended Maui massage and spa.

Oh. My. God! This was no ordinary massage. Not even close. This was a spiritual experience. Ryan integrated intuitive energy practices, anatomical and neurological knowledge, & more with his massage techniques to achieve the most relaxing and therapeutic physical, psychological and spiritual healing I have ever experienced. Not only was the massage beyond words, but the atmosphere and energetic space was held so positively and remedially. I have never had such an experience in my life. I definitely plan on returning to Maui if only just for the Hawaiian Bliss Massage at this place.

I had headache neck and back pain before I went in the Maui massage and spa. Now after seeing Kape, I feel incredible wonderful from his deep tissue massage on my back and hot stone on my neck and head. Truely relaxing and therapeutic. Amazing experience, thanks you Kape!

It was my first time going. My daughter and I went. We are not from that area so we decided to give it a try. It was ok honestly its really hard to find a good place to give you a massage! The place was small and cute and clean. Everyone was very pleasant. Most of the ladies are older so I figured they had lots of experience. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case. But it was worth a try. Areas were I needed the most work were barely even touched. Oh well

The weirdest massage Ive ever had. The masseuse was breathing loudly all over me the whole time and was getting friendlier than I would have liked. Didnt feel good either so it was just an uncomfortable hour of getting moved around and covered in coconut oil. Wouldnt recommend.

Courteous and friendly staff, clean, and REALLY good massage. I get massages monthly or so, and try lots of therapists. I had deep tissue from Ari and she was amazing—one of the best deep tissue massages ever!Only issue was scheduling—left a message and took them more than 24 hrs to call. But very kind and friendly and all went perfectly after that.Yes, a little more expensive in Maui, but treat yourself. Seriously, do it now!

Storm was an awesome masseuse! I loved her techniques. Some Ive never had before. She was friendly, stayed within my desired pressure, and hit all the spots that needed a lot of attention! I came away relaxed and replenished.I highly recommend Maui Massage if youre I the area visiting!

Very relaxing and just what we needed. The place was real chill and the receptionist was a sweetheart. We had a couples Hawaiian Bliss massage. We were in separate rooms but we could see each other through the sliding glass door between our rooms. My masseuse was attentive and checked with me several times with pressure adjustments and taking deep breaths.

I booked a massage the day before with no problem and had a wonderful experience at Maui Massage. My therapist was Tina and she gave me one of those massages that you remember forever because it felt so good! The salon was clean and inviting and the staff was helpful and professional. I recommend Maui Massage. Five stars!

I was on vacation and my back and neck were just locked up from all the activity. I got a deep tissue massage from Matthew and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. He spent extra time on my neck and now I have range of motion and no pain. Very grateful. I don’t have a therapist at home who accomplishes that in one visit. Good work!

My massage therapist was Keira and she was amazing! She used high end essential oils, very nice flowing stroke’s, checked In With me on pressure, great at here job! Front desk lady was super friendly too😀

It was my sisters first massage and she had Judy, she loved it! Judy listened and gave her a wonderful massage experience . Mine, not so much, I had Linda. I didnt get my mini facial or the head massage . I wrote on my form that I needed my middle back and neck worked on, she did my lower back. When I was done, the lady at the front desk said the reason was because Linda doesnt wear her glasses so she couldnt read the form. Really! So my recommendation would be Judy.

The masseuse was really accommodative of all the needs and provided a fantastic Hawaiian massage. I had a great time!

I highly recommend her if you are in pain and need someone who knows how to relieve it. I can always rely on her experience and knowledge to get me on the road to feeling better.

I have been coming to Maui Massage and Spa for 5 consecutive years while on vacation. I have to say I have had many wonderful massages by the therapists. I have had a couple experiences that were not so good, HOWEVER the management has ALWAYS made things right. For this reason I will ALWAYS come here. Each therapist has many years of experience and everyone who has worked on me has done well. Today was an amazing massage by Keira (I think I spelled it right), she is simply awe-mazing! Thank you Maui Massage and Spa for always treating your clients #1! Amazing place and you will NOT find any other better in Maui!

I went in asking for a relax maui bliss message and when Tara started she knew exactly what I needed.. turned out to be the best message Ive ever had and Ive had my share.. so good I insisted my wife try and I re booked another one a few days later. Very nice staff very nice place. Id recommend to anyone young and old. Tara is the BEST masseuse Ive ever had and Im truly a new man.. surfing and golfing and tennis in the same day and she will make sure im walking and not sore after just one hour with her.. hope shes still there next year when we come back

My fiancee loved her massage with her masseuse. I was not so enthusiastic about my massage from my masseur. His hands were akin to sandpaper, so while the bonus exfoliation was unexpected, it marred an otherwise good massage. (I am a massage therapist).

My husband and I have been visiting Maui for the first time and as a treat he booked me a massage with Wenjie. The day spa itself is quaint and lovely and the manager was very warm and friendly, even offering dining and sightseeing recommendations while I waited for my massage. The massage itself was UNBELIEVABLE Truly I cannot oversell Wenjies services. I used the term life-altering afterward describing it to my husband and I dont feel like that is an overstatement. Ive had numerous health problems the past few years and Ive been for many different modalities of treatment including massage Nothing can touch the session. I had with Wenjie today. I wish I could give higher than five stars. I have booked my husband and my best friend with her for later this week. 5 stars. Strongly recommend this spa and Wenjies services!! I had a 60 minute massage with Wen Jie tonight. As an enjoyable vacation experience. It was hands down the BEST massage Ive ever had and I get once weekly massages back home. If you are in Maui it is a must do... And dont forget to ask for Wen Jie.Thank you so much!!

It is cheaper than other places, but the whole atmosphere is something you can easily get at home. The massage itself was okiish, but not great. Still you spend quite a lot of money, if you want to go for a spa/massage, suggest to spend somewhat more and have an awesome experience.

Kihei & Wailea location.Im a flight attendant and obviously, I travel a lot. On one of my layovers in Maui, I went for a walk and spotted this Spa which had recently opened. That day, a complimentary introductory chair massage was offered right in front of the Spa. I stopped and those few minutes got me hooked!I booked a massage for that afternoon. I enjoyed it very much and the next time I returned to Maui, I went back.Ive visited this spa several times since and at times, even wait to get to Maui instead of booking a massage at home.The owner Katrina is a sweetheart; although Ive never visited the other location in Lahaina/Kaanapali/Napili/Honokowai/Kahana, Im sure its just as wonderful as the one I go to.Each therapist Ive had a massage with was excellent and not chatty. I was left to BE and enjoy every second of the experience.On a last note: I was very pleased that when I submitted my receipt to my Canadian Insurance company, the treatment was paid for: so no excuses...GO, relax and enjoy!

Probably the worst massage Ive ever had. Just going through the motions. Ignored large areas I specifically asked her to massage and wasted lots of time in areas I didnt want massaged. Got charged for an hour but massage was only 53 minutes long.

Ryan gave an outstanding massage. He read the tension in my body (with a few knowing MmmHmms), and went to work releasing the stress! He addressed all the issues and left me feeling great!

Had couples massage pd xtra for deep tissue Saturday. Mine was rub down with hot stones, no foot massage. Did not speak English well and kept telling me I need 2hrs during the massage. Covered eyes with roughtowel. Wasted a lot of time.Not professional, wAste of money.

Small place. Communication extremely difficult as my therapist couldnt speak English well. Even though I asked for a firmer massage twice she actually just touched every spot at some point. It did not feel like a real massage, though. She also smelled of cigarettes and used far too much oil. Her hair often touched my face which was very unpleasant.The massage did not seem to follow any structure nor any symmetrical principles.The relaxing music in the background was okay, but stopped several times abruptly. You could hear the receptionist talking loudly on the phone whilst I was trying to relax in the treatment room.In the end the receptionist pressed for a gratuity. That he did with every customer.All in all the worst treatment I got so far.Go to a bigger spa in the vicinity. Same prices, better service!UPDATE: WAS CONTACTED BY FRIENDLY STAFF AFTER THIS TEXT WAS PUBLISHED. RECEIVED FULL REFUND AND THEREFORE RAISED RATING TO 3 STARS.

Eh - hit or miss - weve had 3 out of 4 good massages. It just tough - what is good for one person might not be right for another.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I booked an appointment, then later they called and changed the time of the appointment. The next day, 45 min before we were supposed to arrive, they called and cancelled. I left two messages with them to reschedule and never heard back. Terrible service.

This is my go-to place for a wonderful massage. Quiet, tastefully decorated, friendly staff and excellent services.
